The air purifier removes odors well, if the ozonizer is working, the same result is achieved with a conventional pass-through ozonizer with a UV lamp inside, or just an open-type zirconium lamp, but it definitely requires ventilation. Ozone is harmful. And this is a small Disadvantage: The smell removes well, but with the included ozone, without it - not very quickly.

About 3 months ago we purchased an air purifier from this company - they immediately charged our credit card over $500 but then the problems started. They never shipped the item to us and every time I contacted them the answer was always the same: they promised the item would arrive within days which never happened.
After several phone calls and weeks of waiting without any proof the item was indeed shipped to us we decided to contact our credit card company to get a full refund. I would highly recommend staying away from this company. This is the first time I order something, pay for it but never receive the item. I tried to post a review on Google (because more people would be able to read it) but this company don't even have a "Google My Business" page, and you also can't do it on their website. So if you are reading this stay away from this company!!! No surprisingly I am not the first person who shares the same complaint about them on this platform.

Bought this air purifier Breeze 2 from this company. Delivery time was fast. This was our second air purifier for the same model. First, we placed the unit in the head of the office. He smokes a lot and this air purifier helps to fight the smell of nicotine. The second air purifier will be placed at the allergic house as it copes with pollen and smoke.

We have been using it for about a month, we are completely satisfied with it, we have 3 bedroom apartment. The air became different, if you more often ventilate and turn it on, the climate in the apartment is generally perfect. We will be buying one for our parents too. Advantages: Well cleans and eliminates odors. The air has become completely different. Well-being is much better. Of this price category we advise to choose Ecoquest, Others may have more features, but no Reliability.

Before purchasing, I've read a lot of reviews, both positive and negative. For long-time doubted the need for purchasing but still, in the end, bought the unit. I DONT have any objective control devices for the Ionic composition of the air. But after turning on the ionizer, after a while, the air in the room became softer or something, This is difficult to explain but it feels very good if you move from room to room. At first, seemed that the windows were open, but it was surprising that there was no temperature difference, later I realized that the windows were closed and the freshness effect was not caused by street air but by the ionizer. We don't turn the ionizer off at all as its purifiers the air in the house.

I know Ecoquest since 2010 when I bought my first device. It was a classic model. Simple but effective air purifier. But the way company managed customers was horrible at that time! I think mostly, because they were a global network. And you wasn't able to find anyone responsible for support and doing it in right way. I use to have a lot of issues with the support guys for spare parts and service back in 2012-2013. Have to say that I like the technology they use. You can't find similar no filter system among thousands offers even now after years... I've got my Fresh Air from Ecoquest purifiers website. And I'm glad to notice that things been changed. They got right approach to customer, good price and full support. Can't complain now... And if you think to get one, I would recommend.

A long selection of air purifier is finally complete, the result exceeded expectations. This machine are powerful enough to clean the air in your house, quiet enough for you to sleep near it in a bedroom, and not so expensive like other branded air purifiers. That it’s reason to place several throughout your home. Ionisation is good for removing fine particles such as dust and smoke. Works fine. Thanks.

Do not do any purchasing from this company. They do not stand behind their product. I purchased RCI cells from this company to replace the ones that burned out in my air purifier. They lasted two months. I requested replacements. It’s been six months and I’m still waiting. I’m getting continuous run around. "We’re looking into it." "We’ve lost your products." Don’t waste your time and your money. I’ve spent over $800 with this company.

Honestly, I did not expect anything extravagant from this cleaner, because of its price, compared with the other firms, was much lower. But in the end I was pleased with the purchase. The cleaner is quite good, the area in my room (259 sq ft) clears the room very well, plus it doesn't produce any noises.

I Loved my original Ecoquest fresh air unit, purchased in early 2004. It Stopped working a few years ago and I found Ecoquest online and sent unit in for repair. They called me back saying that was unrepairable but they would sell me the top-of-the-line current unit for around $450 and they would credit me what I paid for the repair. So I took them up on that, and the unit never worked quite like the original. Then recently I noticed that it’s not working at all and I did some more research and found out that Ecoquest had been sold to a company by the name of Vollara in 2009 and has all the right to sell the old Ecoquest units. I did not find that out until a few days ago. My unit says made in China and I believe it’s a bunch of junk. I believe the company calling themselves Ecoquest is a total scam. Do not buy from ECOQUEST. Vollara is the one selling the original wonderful units. I’m just gonna throw my unit away and chalk it up to experience.

I would like to recommend the new Breeze 2 model I have just bought from Ecoquest & Alpine Air. This machine produces better air than all other purifiers I have bought before. Specifically the softness of the ozone that this machine generates. It is much softer than other units I've had and my wife is finally fully satisfied with this purifier. Thank you very much for developing and recommending this new model!

The machine (Alpine Living La-1500 v2.0) was bought less than a year ago when I sent it back for repair on the machine that had a 3 year warranty. Was told the machine was so gunked up voided my warranty and wanted to charge for repair. I would have never bought this machine if I saw the back that only had a metal plate. All and anything would get sucked into the machine that caused that prob. The way the machines are manufactured now have no filter in the back of the machine to keep this from happening. Their fault not the consumers.
I have has these products since 1990. I had their XL with a metal screen in the back that would be able to remove and clean when needed. Also had a screw at the bottom of the machine. When pulled out screw at bottom I was able to pull the chassis out and was able to clean it with a Que Tip and alcohol very gently. Never had a prob with that machine. What they could not make money anymore on new machines. I had that machine for 25 years. I also bought a flair that I had forever.
These new machines are manufactured improperly and they have to take responsibly for that. Someone need to not only not void our machines get us new machines. I see now they are manufacturing machines that have filters in the back of the machine. They not only need not to void our warranties but also replace our misfit machines with the new models that have that filter.

I've used a unit for at least 15 years and have had no issues. It helped with my allergies. I put under my sheet for a few hours as instruction back when I used powder detergent and it took out detergent that was in my sheets. I had no idea that the detergent could stay in the fabric until then. I love my Air machine. I had sinus issues for years due to allergies and due to smoking. I knew my sinus issues were better after having the unit. I quit smoking and still have the unit and my allergy symptoms are much better. As far as mucous issues, I will probably always have those issues after smoking for over 40 years. My allergy symptoms are so much better. I recommend them, but don't forget to use your unit correctly and keep it cleaned.
It is important to read the instructions! On one occasion, I had used the Sanitize mode and forgot to turn the unit square footage back down after sanitizing. The unit unfortunately turns up 3000 sq, ft. and does not automatically turn back down after the sanitize mode is done. My son and his girlfriend were staying at our house on a different floor and they woke up with sore throats. After reading about ozone units, he became very concerned about my having it in my house. I have been more diligent about making sure the square footage is correct now and have had no issues. We will see in a few weeks when they come to visit again.

I have had a Alpine Air for over 10 years so I thought it was time to update. I received a email that I was able to trade in my old unit. When new one arrives it's made in China and a cheap knock off of the ones made in the USA. No return label and the credit card was charged immediately. Contacted company to get return label. They informed me I would have to pay for return and if not package like they sent it I would not receive all my purchase price. This company is a scam. Make sure it's made in the USA not China. Buyers beware.

Ecoquest Vollara - This is my second time I buy this. The first time it work great for maybe 2 years and then stopped working. I called Ecoquest and for some money they change it for the newer model. It stopped working and I didn't call right away. And when I called my warranty had exceeded maybe 4 months. They said I had to replace for a new one. They won’t even fix it or anything. Once the warranty is passed throw it to the trash. Is worth 0 Dll. They won’t even repair it.

I don't know why there are so many complaints about these wonderful machines. Me and my wife purchased 4 units for our 3800 sq. ft. home in 2001. At the time my son was still with us and he had asthma real bad. He get sudden attacks all the time being that we lived out in rural Pennsylvania, where there is just tons of airborne pollen and what not. So once we got our units delivered and he helped me set one up in his room. I put one in our bedroom and one in the kitchen. I swear, my life was saved that day. You know, my son was getting those attacks but once we fired up those ozone blasters the attacks went away. For about two weeks he didn't get one. But as soon as he'd walk out of his room or out of a room that had the optimal ozone level produced by these glorious machines, he'd sometimes fall right to the ground, unable to breathe. I seen how the machines were keeping him alive.
So I encouraged us all to stay home more and leave the house less. Lord knows I don't want to be out driving or something and stop breathing because I don't have enough ozone!!! So we did that. Then my wife started to work in the garden more. And spend less time in the house. But she developed a nagging cough. It turns out she had COPD. I told her it's got to be because her time spent outside in the garden. There's just too much pollen out there.
Now by this time my son had died of a massive asphyxiation caused by his asthma attacks worsening and ultimately killing him. I told him to stop going to the market for food, we could have the local market deliver them for a small fee. But he didn't listen. Now about two weeks after he died, my wife died. I'm telling you it was because of that damn pollen from all those bees we have around here. The doctor said it was walking pneumonia that did her in. I said from her walking around outside so much!!! Exactly what I was worried about. Now I'm here by myself. I have my 4 units at maximum output 24/7 and I feel just fine. It's when I leave the house that I feel like I can't breathe.
Now just imagine what would've happened if I never purchased my 4 Ecoquest Ozone Blaster 3000 units. They would've lasted half as long as they did and I probably would've died too. Instead the doc says I have about 2 to 3 months left tops. And I'm gonna sit here, in my house with my ozone blasters doing what they do best. Buying me time. And just enjoy what time I have left. I just wish that my dogs would come home. It is pretty lonely all by myself. But at least I have my ozone.

I bought a unit from Ecoquest in 2014 that started showing problems right after the warranty expired. In order to try and save $170 on a "repair" and sending the heavy and very expensive unit back to them we requested that they refund us for a part that we bought that ended up not being the issue. Since we requested the refund past the 30 days they ignored the fact that we shipped the part back and when I called to follow up I was reprimanded by the General Manager screaming at me just now on the phone. I have never experienced such disgusting customer service and this company is clearly a total scam. They referred me to call the "original" manufacturer and when I called the place told me they have nothing to do with this company. They do not back up their products, don't answer their phone or emails and are nasty.

Do not, I repeat, do not send money to have your unit repaired. Their website says it takes 4 to 6 days for the repair service and it has been 3 1/2 months and they will not respond to emails or phone messages. They will never answer the phone so you are forced to leave a message. After reading the reviews about their products (mine was a "Fresh Air") they aren't worth the money to repair them anyway. Mine was a gift and I am so glad I did not make a purchase of one of these over rated, overpriced pieces of **. I am out $169.00 for the repair service and roughly $40.00 to send the unit to them. I wish that I had done a little research before I sent them the money but maybe I can save someone else. At this point all I really want is a refund of the repair service charge.

I had problems getting reliable repair parts for these air purifiers. I ordered 2 replacement RCI cells for my own units that I used in my home. I received parts that were damaged and broken. I sent them back and asked for a refund. They called me back after receiving the broken parts and said that they tested them before sending them to me and that I must have broken them. I tried to explain to them that I did not damage the parts. They basically called me liar and said they would not refund me. So that was $120.00 down the drain. I read articles about the health concerns of ozone at ground level. This got me wondering about the ozone produced by these air purifiers.
When I researched the way these units clean the air and the effects of ozone on the lungs something became clear to me. The Ozone from the machine attaches to the particulates in the air in your home and weighs them down causing them to drop out of the air. This is why many customers say in the beginning they noticed immediate improvement in their conditions. The problem is that over time the very element that is improving the air quality is actually harming your lungs. I had my 2 units for 10 years. In the beginning its seemed they were helping but in the last 3 years I developed an upper lung problem that persists to this day. I have not used my machines for almost a year now and the condition seems to have improved. I believe consumers should be aware of the potential long term effects of these types of purifiers.

Several years ago, someone contacted me about air purifiers and said that they were with this company called Ecoquest and that they were making a very good income by selling these products. I contacted the company and wanted more info on the company and their products and was put in touch with a Ecoquest dealer in California. He took my info and my address, then about three weeks later, a very large shipment of air purifiers, weight loss supplies, and other products were placed on my porch. NO paperwork was signed, just products dropped on my porch. Then the company sent me a bill for $3000.00 for merchandise that I never even ordered!! I declined to pay the bill since I had NOT been the one who ordered it to begin with.
Now, almost ten years later, it is still on my credit report and they have gotten a judgement against me. I will NEVER pay this and I even tried sending it back when it arrived, but Ecoquest refused to accept it. I told them to contact the Ecoquest dealer that apparently ordered this merchandise for me since he was my upline at the time, but they refused to that as well. I have since moved and threw away all but two air purifiers which never worked very well in the first place, and when on, gave me horrible headaches, when I turned them off, the headaches went away. I know that they have changed their names several times, but I knew them as Ecoquest... My name for them are scam artist and swindlers.
WARNING... stay away from this company, whatever their name may be for now. I now have bad credit and they sent this to several collection agencies and after ten years, is still being reported on my credit report. I would like to find the person who "ordered" this crap and punch him in the face. I wish I never heard of this company, or the dealer in California. Sorry, it's been so long I have forgotten his name, which is good for him.

My parents were Ecoquest dealers from about 2001 until the company was renamed Vollara. They bought numerous air purifiers themselves, including Living Air Classic and Flair. They used one or two of these units on each of the three levels of their home for about 14 years. My parents enjoyed very good health until about two years ago. They both were quite active, ate very healthy, and never smoked. My father started noticing shortness of breath as he climbed stairs or walked for a distance. He also developed a nagging cough. His primary care physician ordered a chest X-ray and said there was a cloudiness around his heart/lungs. He was unsure of the reason. At this time, my dad was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. My mother was also diagnosed with walking pneumonia shortly afterward after some coughing and cold type symptoms, but no chest X-ray. They were given prescriptions for medications and seemed better.
A few months later, as my dad's shortness of breath worsened, and the cough persisted, my mother began noticing some pain in her chest. They went to a former family practitioner who ordered chest x-rays and CT scans. The dr. suspected pulmonary fibrosis in my father and was not sure for my mother, ordering a PET scan. He also sent them both to a pulmonary specialist. After PET scan results, the pulmonary specialist performed a bronchoscopy on my mother. She met with both of my parents a week later, and confirmed from my dad's CT scan that he had idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. This same day, she diagnosed my mother with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.
After surgery to remove fluid from the pleural space, months of chemotherapy, and much pain, my mother passed away, 9 months after diagnosis. We were all heartbroken and grieving as our dad still struggled with shortness of breath and coughing. He had been on oxygen at nights for a few months, and two weeks after our mom's death, was put on oxygen 24/7. He also started pulmonary rehab. Our dad's condition took a sharp decline 3 months ago, and my siblings and I began staying with him at all times.
After three people had questioned if the ozone air purifiers might be a cause of both of my parents' lung problems, my husband and I began research and turned off the machines that were still on. My dad passed away three weeks ago, only six months after my mom. I do not know the cause of their lung problems, and it could have been a combination of factors, but I feel it is my duty to caution anyone against using ozone air purifiers, regardless of who the manufacturer is.
