How does Cerebral work?
Cerebral connects you with a licensed provider online for therapy services, medication services or a combination of both. Cerebral offers a list of providers from which you can choose. Then an initial assessment of your symptoms and medical history is done to build a personalized treatment plan. Your plan is tracked — meaning your therapist monitors your progress and makes any necessary adjustments to treatment every 30 days. You can modify your treatment plan at any time.
Cerebral is entirely online, so you have access to services from anywhere. It works with most major insurance plans, and a self-pay option is available. A Cerebral subscription includes weekly visits, with up to five sessions per month. Additional sessions are available for an extra charge.
Cerebral cost
Cerebral is subscription-based, and the initial payment is $180. That covers three months of membership and the initial intake session. Provider sessions after the intake are $80 each. After three months, the monthly fee is $60, which includes provider calendar access, messaging, customer service, medication shipments and progress tracking.
For a medication management only plan, the cost is $95 per month. For a medication and therapy combined plan, it is $365 per month. Additional charges to consider are medication costs and additional sessions beyond five per month, which are $65 per hour. Cerebral accepts insurance.
