Terrible company. They canceled my appointment 20 minutes before it’s due and then tried to reschedule me 4 days out from now. I only picked this company because it said they had availability for the next day. They took my money and lied. I don’t recommend this company at all. Terrible service.

The doctor Joseph ** asked for a medication verification, which I had, but would not help me figure out how to get it to him through the app. I have been being prescribed this medication since 2018. I had what he wanted, and instead of helping me get the medication verification to him like he asked for, he cut me off and said he couldn’t help me and ended the Zoom meeting. Biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent.

I was given kind thoughtful consideration. I felt connected within a short time and not rushed. I was told I'd get a pdf documentation to give my pcp and explained how to use it for what I needed.

I talked with Charles and explained my symptoms and my previous experiences with ADHD. He was able to give me a letter of official diagnosis, and now I can get back on my prior prescription and go back to normalcy. Charles was professional, polite, and helpful for the whole process.

I would NOT recommend this company. The first step in the process to set up a consultation was fine. I was able to make an appointment quickly and was diagnosed and prescribed. It went downhill from there. My provider told me the prescription was sent to my pharmacy. For the next 72 hours I continued to check with my pharmacy to see if they had received it and was told no each time. After following up with the company I was told there was an issue with their prescription software and it would be resent shortly. I then received a different message from the support team telling me that they're not allowed to prescribe stimulants in my state (Minnesota). This situation could have been easily avoided by checking the state that I provided when signing up. They did refund my charges but I am rating 1 star because of the wasted time and lack of any outcome.

I thought my session with Gina was really insightful. I found it helpful to hear my concerns repeated back to me but from a different perspective. I wasn’t talking to a wall, I felt heard and understood. I went in feeling a tad overwhelmed but left feeling more grounded.

I live in an area where the only psych treatment is through tele-med. So I decided to see what was online. I was diagnosed with ADD in college, about 25 years ago; on and off treatment, tried numerous treatments. Prior to be treated, and when off of treatment, I used substances to help, opiates and alcohol. I've been sober for 10 years now. I scheduled a 45-minute assessment interview (was not the same day by the way) and the provider cancelled on me 10 minutes prior to the appt. So I had to reschedule a week later. Even though I have had good response to stimulants, the provider wanted to try another option first, one that I had tried already, but I understood and agreed. I feel it helped with my depression, but it also caused daily migraines.
I messaged the provider, but did not hear back. I was told he was leaving the company and I would have to reschedule another assessment interview; which was going to be 45 days after signing up for the program. 1st question from 2nd provider, (no introduction btw): "Why did you want to see another provider?" So nobody from ADHD Advisor informed her why I was seeing her, and already she's assumed that I'm doctor shopping. About 10 minutes in, the provider told me that they don't provide stimulants to people with my history (substance use), even though she thought this would help me the most. My last option was **/**, which I've taken, didn't tolerate and not effective.
So I'm hundreds of dollars in to this, only more discouraged and disappointed than I was before starting this whole charade. Maybe this provider didn't feel well equipped for my non-generic case, but I don't think my story is much different than others with ADD. In the end, there was no 100% money back guarantee; only that "providers may deny care for actual or suspected misuse of the Services for prescriptions"... Treatment is based on the "provider's own discretion and professional judgment." This provider talked down to me for 10 minutes before denying care; that was her "professional judgment".

I gave my review five stars because my experience with ADHD Advisor was amazing and thorough. I was able to get a Zoom telehealth session and my clinician social worker was extremely kind and compassionate. She went over the test that I previously did before my appointment and we spoke on several different issues. I never once felt uncomfortable during my session. I highly recommend using Advisor.org.

Doctor was very short, rushed, dismissive & didn’t feel heard. Even though I was prescribed medicine, I was expecting feedback. Reassurance, anything. It was 10 minutes long, when it was supposed to be 45.

The Doctor I saw was extremely knowledgeable, kept me focused throughout the appointment and treated my diagnosis with humanity and understood the destabilization I have been going through after not being able to obtain care and treatment from my primary psychiatrist for over a year. Within two days I am now back on my medication and feel hopeful about being able to handle the overwhelm that has paralyzed me this last year while untreated. If I could rate this less than one star I would. There are so many women out there who have been dismissed, overlooked, and made to feel crazy for years and years. Get your "doctors" up to speed with the current research and don't say that you offer medication management when I'm just going to waste time, money and my own mental health on someone who is going to gaslight me.
