Horrible customer service! I purchased a bed frame from them and it arrived in an entirely different color and not an attractive one (mustard). I reached out to them and explained and they told me they handled it only to find out that they didn't. I then reached out again and they again said they were sending me a new bed frame for the advertised color and stated they would refund me. NEITHER happened. I reached out again only to find them completely ignoring any requests. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not by from them or Wayfair again.

I recently bought a 15” natural wood taupe nutcracker for my young grandson to crack nuts. The mouth is too small to crack pecans but will probably crack peanuts in their shells. When it came it was only 10” tall. Please measure yours!

Guys, make sure you don't buy anything from them. They keep rejecting my 1 star review where I complain about the quality of the product showing the photos of it. Don't trust a website that manipulate their reviews.

The bed frame looks sturdy. It was delivered on time and easy to put it together. It's like as described, except that the Caramel color is much darker than in the pictures. The photos on the website were not accurate. They took the pictures off the website as soon as I contacted them questioning about the color. Customer service was nice but not efficient or helpful. I don't recommend anything from a website that we can't trust.

We bought a $2380 bed from AllModern. It looked good. We shortly regretted our choice. The slats came out of place, and the entire support depends on a few cheap, tiny screws that easily break off and prevent you from using the proper screw holes. Other supports bent. The sides of the bed kept falling off. It became clear that this is a cheaply constructed bed with a nice veneer. We thought that a $2380 bed would be solid, not an Ikea-level bed. This wasn't the bad part!
AllModern is owned by Wayfair, I believe, and we ended up at Wayfair customer service. After seeing my documentation they offered to do a free repair on the bed, and if we weren't happy they would allow us to return it. The repair guy came. He had to screw down every single slat. Anyway, the repair didn't work - more bending and cracking and instability. So we call AllModern/Wayfair back, told them the repair didn't work, and we'd like a return. They just said no, it's not their problem, it's the manufacturer.
To make a long story short (or at least not much longer), we spent hours on the phone getting a complete runaround, passed from one agent to another. It was like a Kafka story. So now we are $2380 poorer, have a worthless bed (had to use a much cheaper, much better bed from a different company), and spent many hours being frustrated. I will never again shop at AllModern or Wayfair or any company remotely related to them. Stay away at all costs.

Horribly long to get my order, it's been 3 months and still not received it. I ask for a refund and they just never answer. The advertisement was about a clearance and the reply that my order is currently made... how can you have a clearance sale when the objects are not made yet.

I ordered a coffee table and was told via text 4 times my coffee table wasn’t out for delivery. I tracked it via FedEx and received information and delivery times each day only to have no delivery. Upon calling customer service on day 4 I was told “to have patience” and that my table should be delivered. If not, they would open an investigation and have an answer in 4 days and either replace the coffee table or give me a refund. The next slap in the face was the offer to give me a 10% coupon for a future order…which is not happening and the same amount I could receive off anytime for simply providing an email or signing up for text messages. Absolutely unacceptable and you should avoid this company altogether.

Sold me a broken chair. Then sent me two replacement chairs in the WRONG color. When I asked them for the correct chair the third time they told me I was out of warranty. Shameful. I will never order from them again.

Shady pricing practices. Bathroom vanity was on sale for $520 in early July, then went back to full price of $580 early August, no big deal. I go to order it and see the base price is now all of a sudden $660, and it is "on sale" for $620 - literally overnight. I reach out to customer support just to be told, "Tough luck, we reserve the right to increase prices without notice and no, we will not honor the price of which you have a screen shot from just 1 day ago." That is super duper shady and not right. I will not be ordering from AllModern, that's just so transparently wrong.

One of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've ever had. Misleading, dishonest, and lacking transparency. If any issues arise, you're left in the lurch. Think twice before placing an order.

Beware of AllModern! Getting items delivered has been a total nightmare. I ordered a media cabinet that was delivered but damaged and I'm still yet to get the replacement. I ordered a bed and we are now on our 4th delivery attempt. I've made plans to stay at home 3 separate days and each time nothing is delivered. AllModern keeps rescheduling my delivery but something always happens. Now I will need to stay home another day and keep my fingers crossed they will deliver. Buyer beware.

They are a horrible company. They sell cheap furniture with a high price. Also when I tried to give a one star review in the couch that I bought 2 months ago and already broke it said that the review is under review which I'm sure they won't publish it.

We've purchased a couple of other items from them in past few months for our new home. Be prepared to wait a long time for delivery. Last item (shelves) we waited 8+ weeks, then they shipped wrong color. Now waiting another 4 weeks.

When I selected my product online it clearly said two items and is why I selected it. I received one. Customer service was indifferent and rude even the supervisor. I was told I had only selected one item which is not correct. It was a set of two. I know what I did and selected. I looked at these pots and priced them for a few days. I was clear on one pot or set of two. They were unwilling to admit it may have been their system. Now the item is more to purchase again and it was cheaper in a set and no accommodations to work with me. They have absolutely no concern you. I will never buy from this company again.

Please think twice before purchasing furniture from ALLMODERN. Sharing my experience to help others and hopefully educate Wayfair so they can actually do something to help prevent this experience from happening to other customers. I placed an order for the Barclay bed September 2023. The bed comes with white glove delivery/install service as part of the purchase. I received an order confirmation and a few weeks later was sent a note to schedule delivery/install. This part of the process worked well and then the nightmare began the day the product was to be delivered.
The delivery team arrived within their window and upon arrival asked me if I had received a box that had supposedly been shipped directly to my home. I had said no and was confused because I had thought the delivery team would have the product with them since they were there to install. The delivery team told me that had only part of the product that one box out of three was missing and should have been delivered to me directly. The gentlemen told me he could not assemble the bed without the third box. I called customer care on the spot. They told me they would investigate and re-order the missing parts. The delivery team left me with the two very large boxes (they did offer to place in my garage).
A few weeks go by, and I heard nothing, so I called customer service again. The person I spoke with asked me if I was confident, I didn’t have all the parts as it was strange delivery team would have been dispatched to assemble without all the parts. I said, I cannot confirm because I am not a product specialist, and I am not familiar with All Modern product to know what I should or should not have.
The agent looked up my order and, in the order, shipping details it noted that the delivery would include three boxes. One box delivered to my home and the other two would be delivered at time of assembly (like the delivery team had told me). The agent then said it could be (not confirmed) possible the product was shipped in only two boxes instead of 3 like the order confirmation described. The agent said some of the beds have a hidden compartment and that the extra pieces are stored there. Then asked me if I knew if the headboard had the hidden compartment with the missing pieces stored. I let the agent know that the boxes were big and heavy, and I could not safely open to look by myself. I was then told that the only way to fix this is to open the boxes and itemize all the parts to determine If I have everything needed to assemble the bed.
I then attempted to move the boxes and open them and then pulled my back out. In pain and frustration, I called customer care again and could not locate ANYONE who could confidently tell me if I had everything I needed. I then had to wait and ask my son and husband to pull everything apart piece by piece in my son’s bedroom to itemize. When complete, I called customer care again and escalated the issue and was told that they still could not confirm I had everything needed. I was very frustrated as I had the entire bed pulled apart on my son’s bedroom floor and by this time it has already been almost three months that my son has been sleeping on the floor waiting for his new bed. I asked them to cancel the replacement that was never processed and to schedule the team to come out to assemble. The manager I spoke with asked me for my availability and kindly scheduled and I received an email confirmation.
The delivery team never showed on the day they were supposed to come, and I didn’t receive any communications. The manager called to check on things and I let him know the install / delivery team did not show up as scheduled. He apologized and said he would reschedule. The next day, my son tripped over the long heavy pieces on his bedroom floor that have been waiting for weeks for install/assembly. At this point I was beyond frustrated and now angry. Both my son and I have now been injured because of the incompetence of the process and customer service. Additionally, I have had to take off 2 days of work to stay home to wait for delivery/assembly. There is no way I can take off another day, so my husband and son (took 4 hours) assembled the bed themselves. There was an issue with the headboard and the nails provided and the headboard is now damaged.

We were told furniture would get delivered a few days after order date. Three weeks later still no update on delivery date. Even cust support can't give an update. We will never buy from AllModern again.

Please do not spend your hard earned money on bathroom vanities from this company. They frequently "change" manufacturers when something gets enough bad reviews to trick consumers. It's still the same item under a different name. We bought a Haoqi 36" W x 22" D x 34" H Single Bathroom Vanity, which is now sold under the brand name Dondi, and yet it's the same item. Conveniently, we can no longer review it because the "one we bought is no longer available". And yet, we've had it for less than a year and it's already breaking, veneer is coming off, etc. But they change the name and "manufacturer" of items frequently so you can't review items once they start to disintegrate less than a year later.

I ordered some furniture as an unregistered buyer and thus manually entered my name, address, etc. Several years ago I purchased something from Wayfair, which apparently owns AllModern. Without my permission or warning me, my AllModern order was linked to my old Wayfair account and the information I entered was changed to match the information on file at Wayfair. Consequently, all correspondence was sent to my old email address and the furniture was sent to my old address -- two states away from where I currently live. Nearly three months later I have yet to receive a refund, even though the furniture was returned to AllModern.

Bed was supposed to be delivered and assembled on the same day. Delivery people left without assembling - no explanation. That was followed by dozens of phone calls and 4 missed appointments without explanation. Today, the bed was found to be defective and can't be assembled. No more in stock. Told to just throw it away. So now it's my problem to dispose of??? DO NOT use this company. EVER. Don't be fooled by what looks good on their website.

I have spent the past month trying to get my furniture purchase delivered. Each time I call, promises are made, and nothing happens. Five times now I have called, each time I am told I will definitely get my bed, and then nothing happens. Do not under any circumstances order anything from this garbage company.

My spouse bought a leather couch from All Modern through the telephone speaking to one of their salespeople. Conditions given by us that it be delivered on a certain date, that the delivery service should confirm and call by phone; also that an email will be sent to us to confirm the delivery date. They said yes to all these conditions and had noted it down on their system. None of those conditions were met!!
All Modern delivered the couch a few days after the call which made the date too early, the company did not call, and did not email nor communicate in any form to inform us of a delivery. The company delivered to a house that was still occupied by a former tenant, they also had intentions to drop the couch on the curbside without any forewarning until the tenant then saw the delivery truck and had them carry the couch to the garage as a consideration.
Our complaints with All Modern have only gotten a tacit nod. They offered to pick up the couch and re-deliver again which we said had to be done as the former tenants needed the garage space. They established an appointment with us and time for the pick up however no one showed, no one called or even sent a text or message to warn us that they were not coming to pick up. They made two senior citizens in their 70's with frail health wait for 4 hours outside of the garage. When we spoke to them to ask, they said the pickup was not approved and someone should have called us but no one did. No apology nor explanation. If you enjoy being taken advantage of by a company that only focuses on greed and has low standard service and quality, then buy your furniture at All Modern.
Their management are incompetent and ignorant - although their customer service people do try to to help you within the limits of their decision-making. The lower staff get the brunt of the complaints whilst their management (middle and higher) hide from facing their faults and incompetence. Be forewarned unless you insist on being treated like dirt.. if so buy from them

They cancelled my first delivery (by email) on the day of, making me lose a day of work. The customer service stated that they cancelled because they did not have all of the pieces. Eventually we rescheduled, hired someone to sit in our apartment for the delivery window. and supervise assembly. The 4 hr delivery window was stretched to 8 hrs. They eventually arrived WITHOUT all of the bed components thus could not assemble. We have yet to receive a follow up with a date despite numerous calls. I understand that supplies are delayed and this may be beyond their control. They have complete control over how such setbacks are handled and communicated. They don't seem to care.

We ordered a dining table in Jan-it came with the corner smashed in. All Modern stated they would replace the tabletop, so we donated the damaged one. We waited and waited and waited, no table. Meanwhile cost was US $1114.19; we are in Canada, so cost to us was $ 1450.97 charged Feb 16 2021. It is June, no table arrived and no communication from All Modern. I called- I was told the table had been discontinued. They refunded the table US cost, problem is this time the refund in Canadian dollars is $1310.01. We are short $140.96. Have posted a complaint with the BBB, they are giving me the run around- "Sorry we have refunded in full." They owe us $140.96, AND considering they broke our contract to buy a table and we waited 6 months, they owe us the tabletop at the original price. Nightmare of miscommunication and ridiculous service.

This company doesn't include or sell drains for the bathtubs they sell. Getting everything for their tubs isn't worth the aggravation. Wish I had NEVER heard of AllModern and will tell everyone I like to stay away. Highly recommend them to people I hate.

We purchased a dining set in the end of November 2019 for over $1200. We were shipped a completely different table (different manufacture and everything) from what was in the set. The original table was not glass. It was acrylic. We didn't want glass. After waiting a month for the order, we were told the table pictured on their website wasn't available (so they just threw whatever was laying around in the box??). Knowing we had a big event coming we couldn't wait any longer so we kept the table.
Fast forward 16 months, the table came completely unglued! The top is unglued, and it's glass....so dangerous! I contacted All modern and we are past 12month warranty. There passed me off to the manufacturer, Chintaly imports and said they handle that. I contacted Chantaly and guess what? They said All Modern handles that and don't take direct complaints. Now AllModern is unresponsive. I am posting this review so buyer can beware, they gave zero level of service in either situtation.

I'm not sure how this company gets away with the shipping they do. First, we ordered a couch that I had been extremely excited about... two weeks go by and there's no update on the movement of the couch on the link provided. I called numerous times and finally after waiting for a month and lots of yelling they call me to tell me my couch was 'lost in transit' and it had also been SOLD OUT after I had already bought the couch. My roommate was able to keep her voice down on the phone so we were able to reorder the couch with them giving us a discount to be able to do so but I still paid an extra $200.
Fast forward, the couch was supposed to be here this morning (thank god). I got an email at 6:00am saying it was the day to be delivered and another around 7:00am saying there would be a delay and to wait another 2 days to hear from the warehouse on a new shipping date. This has been the WORST experience I've ever had with any furniture company possible and I'm not sure how they get away with 0 communication and not letting their customers have updates on their items they've spent 1k +. My couch is supposed to be here Wednesday and if it's not, I'll be asking for a full refund.

I ordered 4 chairs on a Tuesday, they were delivered that Friday. After delivery I checked their website and they had gone on sale and were much cheaper than what I paid just two days earlier. I hadn’t even taken them out of the box yet. I called and asked them to credit me the difference since it’s their own product. Should have been an easy no brainer. Instead, it was a definitive no. Not only was it a no, but then they charged me $25 to return the chairs so that I could reorder them at the sale price. How ridiculous. So I cancelled other orders I made with them, sent the chairs back and will never shop there or at their affiliates. Aside from the $25 return shipping, I found the same exact chairs on Houzz for half the price. Joke’s on AllModern because I would have paid their sale price and it still would have been more than what I paid on Houzz but their poor business practices just lost two sales and a customer.

We ordered by phone. Promised delivery in 11 days. Received in 3 days. The 9 x 12 rug was well-wrapped and heavier than expected. 2-person job to move. Colors were true to the picture. Quality as advertised. Would order again and recommend.

I ordered through Allmodern in June. They sent an email saying my order would ship by the end of June. I received emails for 6 months saying my order was delayed. I canceled the order 3 weeks ago and never received my money back.

I ordered a small runner for my bedroom as I'm selling my condo. AllModern shipped me the wrong item... an 8X10 area rug... and it took them almost 10 days to come and pick it up! It was terrible as the rug was huge and heavy and I had no room for it. It took my initiative to get Fedex to come and finally pick up the rug. Meanwhile, I never did get the runner. If and when I do (it's been over two weeks already) I'll be returning it. They never offered me a discount/overnight of the correct item. Nothing. What a mess and no, I'll never shop this site again.

If you order something larger, like furniture, they promise what seems like reasonable delivery estimates, but do not be fooled like me! For 4 months I have been kept waiting and hoping but about every two weeks they keep saying delayed again. I have called multiple times. If I had known about their deceptive shipping estimates, I would have never ordered from them. If they do not provide me with a firm delivery date within the next week, I will cancel. I now know who the manufacturer is and will order direct. I will never order from AllModern/Wayfair again.

I'm pretty unhappy with the service.... I just bought a desk on Wednesday. Furniture arrived on Friday 8/31. I noticed last night that All Modern was on sale. I paid $540 for the desk and it's now on sale for $400. After being on hold for 30 min, I asked them if they were unwilling to honor the new sale price and the customer service said that they don't do any adjustments. What a shame! I will never buy or recommend any of my friends to buy any furniture from this site. I will make sure to spread the word in all social media.

Nowhere when you are ordering from their website does it state the currency is USD. As a Canadian, I assumed it was in CAD. Only on the receipt in very small font does it state is dollars. Only 1 he after placing the order I opened the receipt and then canceled the order. I then emailed to confirm cancellation at the same time and to be safe called and waiting an hour on hold to confirm cancellation. Then a day later the order changed from cancellation pending to shipped! What a scam. I’ll now have to pay to ship it back. Fraudulent to not be upfront about currency and then remove cancellation requests just to make money. I will never order from AllModern or their sister companies again.

I was so excited to find bathroom lights that All Modern stated was for wet areas. Got the lights super early but when I opened the box the lights said dry areas only. On top of that although they false advertised I had to pay to ship them back. I will never order from this site again and I will just say buyer beware!

Please don't waste your time buying furniture from here. The most ridiculous service post sales. Extremely strict and NON-FLEXIBLE policies. They gave me a 10% off coupon code which I applied and completed payment successfully. Then they sent me a receipt in an email with products removed from my cart and guess what! Even the coupon. So NO DISCOUNT and nothing could be returned or cancelled. The dates were updated according to their convenience and they couldn't do anything about it. OBVIOUSLY! All in all I wasted money, effort and 2 hrs on phone with customer service with no resolution WHATSOEVER!

I a ordered a nightstand and mirror on 4/15/2020. I canceled the order and initiated the return the very next day. The dresser and nightstand were rerouted back to the company so they never even arrived. It is now OVER a month later, 5/19/2020, and after about 4-5 phone calls and numerous emails over the last month I still have not received a refund to my credit card. Each time I speak with them it's always, "Oh, wow, sorry about that, you will see a refund in the next 3-5 business days", and it NEVER happens. Terrible company. Will never order anything from All Modern again.

I placed an order online April 2, 2020 for 2 folding Adirondack chairs, they were on sale. Once the order was placed delivery was to be April 9th. Today, April 15th still no chairs and one of them was cancelled. I called customer care. Spoke to Tyler who was very unhelpful. I was told the price was too low. They cancelled my order. They should have honored the price that was on the website at the time I placed my order. Will not ever purchase another item from AllModern or any Sister companies, Wayfair, Joss&Main, and Birch Lane. They have lost my business for good.

Updated on 04/04/2020: I ordered a rug on 03/29. It was going to be delivered on 04/01. I was moving on 04/03...I came to find out their shipping time frames are a lie. On day 2, AllModern had it arriving on time. The date went up from there. It was going to be delivered on 04/06. That was a problem because I would no longer be living here. I called fed ex to see how they shipped. They DID NOT ship 2 day as they claimed. So I call these idiots. The first rep I talk to states there’s no way they can get it here on time. I tell him I won’t be living here when it arrives. He said, he’d call FedEx and stop it and refund me. They send me a refund email, not a refund. They charge me $28.00 for shipping. Are you ** kidding me. It’s not that I didn’t want item, it’s because of their known deceptive practices, I can’t receive it.
Of course I call these idiots back, because I have nothing better to do with my time and money, especially during a move. Of course they are sorry, again. They should call this company “AllSorry”. Anyhow, they claim they are going to refund me, which they haven’t as of yet, which is ridiculous. They have their product routed back to them, it takes seconds to do a refund, almost a week and no refund. So unless you need numerous headaches in your life, I would steer clear of these idiots. Plus, I read a lot of reviews about their products having bedbugs. That’s something I definitely do not want. I bought a beautiful rug at Lowe’s. I had it prior to the move, so furniture could be placed on it, no bugs. Do your homework before purchasing from these scammers. I’d rather pay more, have a better product when I need it, with no bedbugs. Read the reviews. This company is on the way OUT!
Updated on 04/02/2020: I called Fedex and it was not shipped 2 day as All Modern claimed/lied. They shipped Fedex home delivery. It will arrive the following Monday. I will not be living here then. I emailed and requested my money back from AllModern.
Original Review: I ordered a rug. It was supposed to deliver today. Of course it did not. I’m moving in two days and don’t have time to mess with these idiots. I saw the reviews, but I thought how hard can it be to ship a rug. I will call Fed Ex tomorrow. Now there is no tracking information. I emailed Allmodern, no response. I’m going to dispute and order off another site. What a bunch of morons. Scammers. Do not use them.

I ordered furniture for a new home on AllModern, as the prices/selection looked very good & they advertised Next-Day Shipping. After multiple "delays" to my delivery, I'm at about 3 weeks without receiving this order. I have called customer service many times, but there's always an excuse for more delays. Beware if you need what you purchased any time soon!
