I've worked with Veterans United on several occasions now, each time receiving outstanding customer service. I recommend them to all my fellow vets and others I come into contact with, who are looking to purchase or refinance a home. When you contact them for any reason, they immediately follow up with you. If you have questions or issues you don't understand, they immediately get you answers and are very thorough in explaining anything you may not understand. What I also like and appreciate, they continue checking on you long after you close, and when things change in the world that may benefit you in your situation, they reach out to to let you know. Highly recommend them, always.

I can say this was one of the easiest things I've ever done. The team I worked with got me from pre approved to clear to close in 23 days. I let them know this was my Christmas gift to my family and we made it happen 2 days before Christmas.

In giving thought to the entire Veterans United process, I realized that I could have purchased a home many years earlier, and the process of purchasing a home has been made much easier than my previous home buying experience of thirty-years ago. I did in fact sit on the fence, so to speak, for a very long time, and if a Veteran is giving thought toward purchasing a home my recommendation is to go ahead and make the purchase using Veterans United as your guide. This company puts everything upfront as though they are going to do everything in the world for you. Don't be fooled. They have no sense of urgency. We were already into a contract situation when told they only handle certain types of homes. It would have been nice to know this upfront. They are like any other "We are here for the Veterans" Hype. There are better lenders. I should have known something when my real estate agent said, "oh no, you are using Veterans United?" Yep. It was a huge mistake.

VA loans can be pretty stressful, but Veterans United was able to help us through all the ups and downs allowing purchase our forever home. The process was as easy as possible with all the different special employees. They had everything covered to make sure the transition smooth.

I should have started with Veterans United to begin with! I went with a local lender for my first mortgage, and they just didn't get how to handle VA loans although stating that they did. A lender not knowing the VA loan process caused a significant amount of stress and extra work with underwriters on my part to provide clarification on law and calculations related to how this type of loan works. Veterans United does this for a living. I was amazed at how organized their web interface was, and how streamlined they have their processes. The team assigned to me was professional and courteous, and made me feel like my refinance was the highest priority. I never knew that this process could be exciting and stress free, and that's what Veterans United has created here for you.

The process was (for me) very easy. Every task that was given to me in the portal, I made sure to complete them the same day. Any explanations I had to complete or anything I wasn’t sure about, they were answered immediately by my loan team.

As a first time home buyer, I thought it would be difficult for me to apply for a loan and picking the property that was right for me while leaving in a different State. VU is an outstanding company. Made the refinance process quick and effective - in spite of Covid - set realistic goals and expectations throughout the process and was able to get me an amazing rate when other big name national companies had been unwilling to work with me because I was self employed during Covid.

Very easy and simple process. Probably the best I have experienced in a home closing. The team were very responsive and explained everything thoroughly. They even sent personalized gifts to my pets prior to closing to add that little extra touch. Only thing I recommend is get a good quality Title company for closing. The one I used did not keep in good communications with Veterans United and there were some hidden fees that were put in we were all unaware of. But HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend using them especially if you are a Disabled Veteran.

Zach and Kaelynn made me a promise at the beginning of this process, and they did everything they had to to keep that promise! After Hurricane Ida, my family and I didn't know what the future had in store for us...but we knew God had something special planned. I wasn’t happy with my previous loan amount especially starting from a bank that I’ve been with since enlistment back in 2012. The numbers VU gave me were to what I needed given the price of the houses around the area. I’ve been working on repainting the interiors and I am very happy with the result and glad that I was able to acquire the house with the team I have.

Veterans United is absolutely the way to go for VA loans. I had initially worked with a few other banks as I was shopping for the best rate. We used Rob’s team to buy our house and refinance it. They made it incredibly simple for us and took care of as much paperwork for us as they could to ease the process. These folks are there to help you through the process of buying and financing a home. They have teams of people that are there to work for you and take the stress out of buying a home. I was in a sticky situation. My landlord gave me 30 days notice to move out because he was selling the house (I was on month to month rent since I lived there for 5 years). Did a cash out IRRL and it was completed promptly. Nyk and his team did a wonderful job. The appraisal was a little low in my opinion from the VA but that's doesn't reflect on the company. Fees were a little high based on closings I have had in the last but not unreasonable.
