Wow, where do I begin. Veterans United and my team of Adam, Amanda, Rich and Shannon are all Rock Stars! I began my journey to home ownership without a clue, luckily these guys and gals were there every step of the way. From outstanding customer service to personable interactions and did I mention they have streamlined their process, so you have your own portal that allows you to track the process/progression of your loan? Well they do and it's great. Veterans United does not just get you pre-approved and tell you to do ABC, they have videos, and articles that further explain each step of the process, detailing what to expect, why this step is necessary what the next step is. Simply put, they bring their "A" game every time.

If you are a veteran and are looking for a team to service your loan for a new home, then look no further. Veterans United took the word "fusion" out of the word "confusion" fusing our questions with quick answers and outstanding service. The whole process from application to close was carefully plotted by them making our experience one for the record books. Thank you Veterans United!!

I purchased my home and refinanced twice since with Veterans United. My loan person Blake was extremely knowledgeable and highly communicative throughout the process. I had a personal emergency in regards to my home and I emailed very late on a Friday expecting a response n Monday. He returned my email before the next morning and delivered exactly what I needed. This shows that he really cares about his customers.

Dawn and the team were awesome. The entire experience went smoothly and every step was explained in detail. The only issue I had was finding a house (because of the market). I highly recommend Veterans United.

The overall experience was stressful from start to finish. My closing was delayed due to the admitted fault of Veterans United. There is too much work for the staff to handle the workload effectively. In the end, I felt like a number and not a customer. I won't be using or recommending Veterans United again. My loan officer did a good job considering his immense workload. This is not his fault, but instead a fault of the organization as a whole.

Deadlines do not exist to these people. Disorganized. Rates aren't great either. There is no way all of their 5 star reviews are legit.

Veterans United doesn't just process loans, they assist you in every way through the entire process. The entire team that works with you is a very experienced expert in their part of the process. They answer any question you come up with. Mostly you have very few questions because they cover everything before hand. Would never consider doing a mortgage without them on my side.

Original we started with Veterans United Home Loans (VU) in North Carolina looking for a potential new home in Florida in 2020. Taylor ** with VU assisted us from day one. We had a change in plans, we decided to move instead to Virginia due to a job offer back in November. My wife and I used VU and the experience was horrible. They prequalified us for $15k less than our new company. Also they quoted us at 3.2% interest with zero towards closing costs while our new company is giving us 2.5% plus $2k towards closing costs. VU also has a 1% hidden fee we were not aware of. As a veteran I am disgusted with how they treated us. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THESE LOSERS TO BUY A DOG HOUSE.

Veterans United was the first and only lender I reached out to and I'm glad I did. They stayed in constant communication with me, I never felt like I was figuring things out on my own. My initial preapproval wasn't what I wanted and they explained to me what I needed to do to be preapproved for a higher amount. Great customer service, will be referring any veterans I know to them.

Okay so with a FICO that is 16 points from perfect (according to Experian) and after 44 days of waiting {I purchased from start to finish in under 2 weeks in 2017 at 3.75%} and researching the Political affiliation of this lender [after the episode at the Capitol on 01/06/21] discovering that their Political contributions go [discovering a "CONSERVATIVE" Super Pac is the sole beneficiary of our Veterans Money] solely to the Republicans. I pulled my "Streamline [01/12/21] Refinance" application that was supposed to be a 2.25% refi (total savings over the life of the loan was about $13,500.00 had I waited for that "final approval"). I also promptly listed the 4/2/2 Florida Home on 5 acres for sale at $345.000.00. I believe you have an obligation to equally distribute your PAC money after all it isn't your money. It is OURS and Veterans are not a monolithic group, BUT YOU ARE.

Veterans United charged us a hefty fee for the services they provided, that we later learned most banks will provide for free. They sold our loan to a third party lender before the first payment was due, and the third party has been nothing but problems.
