- Doesn’t offer payday loans
- Loan amounts up to $5,000
- May check credit
- Not available everywhere

Please do not do business with them. 500% interest rates is what they do. They will put you in a worst position. People please, please run away. They prey on us people who needs a little help between paychecks just to have use paying them for months....It's soo sad but this is the real world.. This company doesn't care about helping us just the money.

Please be warned if you make the lowest payment every two weeks you will end up paying double or even triple what you borrowed by the time you get it paid off. If you do not have the means to pay your loan off within 2-3 weeks, this probably isn’t for you. With that being said, I still think there is a time and place where Uprova can help you in a tough spot. I was behind on some bills and took out a loan of $1000. Ended up paying that loan off pretty quickly in about 3 weeks and only accrued about $100 in interest. The whole process was straightforward and I received my loan quickly. I would consider doing it again if I ever needed it.

I’ve literally been ROBBED! For months now. Smh. I borrowed a 1,000.00 loan because I desperately needed it not knowing the interest was 689.71. I have paid exactly 3,446.19 and still owe 660.00. I can literally cry right now. This is ROBBERY! DO NOT GET LOAN FROM THIS PLACE. IT IS LIKE PAWNING A TITLE TO YOUR CAR. I REPEAT. DO NOT RUIN YOUR LIFE EVEN MORE.

This company provides quick service because it wants to lock you in quickly to their scam. Check on BBB how many people they have ripped off so far. I wish I would have done so prior to getting a loan. The representative had told me that if I paid off the loan early, there is no penalty and the amount would be lesser than it would be if I stuck with the 18 payments plan. 2 payments are taken out of my account every 2 weeks. It's been 3 months and I just wanted to get this account out of my life. I have paid $1300 so far for a loan that was $1000. So I called to get an early pay off amount and I am still stuck paying $880. So basically, my loan interest is over 100%. You save no money paying off the account early. You still owe the entire amount that you would owe if you stick with bi weekly payments. The representative did offer me a $9 discount if I paid the entire amount off today. SMH!!!

This "company" obtains your information from third parties, then tries to run loans in your name. I have never applied to this scam, but somehow started getting spam calls from them and then they attempted to run a loan in my name but they got the first name and bank account info wrong. Please stay away from these frauds.

They are so nice when they want you to take the loan out. Read the contract before signing up. I did. I asked questions. They said they charge interests everyday. Even if it take you 5 months to pay the loan off you will still owe. They know people are not going to read, because we all need fast money. The cost of living is too high for a company to rip people off like them. If you want a good loan here affordable try Oportun.

I made the huge mistake of taking a loan from this company. Now I'll admit I'm not the best at reading every word but I did review the loan documents and there is no way I would have agreed to their terms. I just paid my loan off 4 months later because I had to stop the bleeding. 400 loan I've made 10 payments off 87.00 and I still owed the original loan amount. Never would trust this company again. I can't prove it but my gut tells me the electronic documents they had on file are not what I signed.

I cannot emphasize enough how utterly disgusted and appalled I am by my experience with Uprova. In my recent dealings with this company, they have demonstrated nothing but unethical, extortionate behavior that is nothing short of a customer's worst nightmare. To begin with, I had a legitimate issue with a bill from Uprova. I reached out to their customer service department in the hope of resolving the matter amicably and fairly. Instead, what followed was an ordeal that can only be described as extortion masked as "customer service."
Uprova's representatives not only failed to provide any reasonable assistance, but they also blatantly ignored the facts of my situation and instead insisted on inflating the amount I supposedly owed. It was as if they had a playbook dedicated to squeezing as much money out of customers as possible, regardless of the validity of the charges. Uprova's actions are not only morally reprehensible but also potentially illegal. Extorting customers and manipulating them into paying more than they legitimately owe is not only unethical but also a breach of trust that should be met with severe consequences.
I implore anyone considering doing business with Uprova to think twice and explore alternative options. This company's actions should not be tolerated, and I hope that my review serves as a warning to others who might fall victim to their extortionate practices. Uprova's conduct is a stain on the business world, and they should be held accountable for their disgraceful actions.

My experience with this company so far hasn’t been too bad. I read many of the reviews so I was kinda scared to accept. I really needed the help so I went ahead and accepted a smaller amount than what I was approved for and my money was sent within few minutes, very fast and hassle free. I understand this is a business and they do charge more than what other companies charge but honestly I just appreciate the help at a time that I really needed it! I recommend if you need the help then only take what you need. That way you will not owe as much. Thank you UPROVA for your help.

The annual percentage rate was a whopping 542.05% for an $800 loan. If I had the payments, I would have had to pay back at total of $3105.08!! That’s highway robbery and my credit isn’t even that bad! I just needed funds quickly. The process was easy…a little too easy. You know what they say, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is. I applied and was approved the same day. I selected the next-day funds option and received the funds of $800 timely, by direct deposit.
I was not aware of the interest rate before applying which was VERY stupid of me but thank GOD I was able to pay off the loan within the same week, with no interest. I was going to say if you are able to pay off the funds within the same week apply. But honestly, I wouldn’t even take that chance. Stay away from companies like this because they prey on the financially strapped.

I don't understand how borrowing 1200 equals paying back 4699! I do not understand why these people would do this to someone. If I had that kind of money to throw away, I wouldn't need their loan. They say they are not a payday loan company, no...They are 1000% worse than any payday loan company I have ever used. This is criminal behavior and they are allowed to do this without fear of consequences. Read the fine print, no matter how desperate things may seem where you need a loan, it will be worse if you are actually approved. It's better if you're denied.

First off, positive reviews on other sites have to be bogus. Plus Uprova will flag factual reviews and websites like Trustpilot will remove them. This is why their reviews are seemingly glowing when in reality, this company is using predatory practices to entice people who are in need of unethical loans. If you are in a financial bind, do what you can to get money elsewhere. If no other options, use this service only if you plan on paying loan in full immediately.
Having said this, first experience went super smooth. What was great is that funding happened within minutes. Loan was paid in full less than a week later, no interest. The second and last time I use this service, funding took much longer (if you are in need of fast funds over the weekend, don’t count on Uprova). Received funds late Monday, went to pay in full the very following Thursday and already had accrued interest. Horrible website would not allow me to make same day payment so I scheduled payment on the following day with even more interest. If you choose to pay installments on one of their loans, you will be paying 4-5 times more in interest. Imagine paying these people $4000 for a $1000 loan. No thank you and never again.

THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT GOING ON WITH THEM CURRENTLY. And if you don't believe me then please google WALTON vs. UPROVA CREDIT LLC. I took a loan through them because I am a single mom of three children struggling to make ends meet. My loan agreement clearly states that I am to pay $265 BI-WEEKLY and noticed that last two times they have taken money from my account is has been a total of $288. I called them and they said I am charged more money now because I changed my scheduled payments to BI-WEEKLY when my loan document clearly states that it was already set at BI-WEEKLY. Not to mention the 430.71% interest rate. I did my homework and found that yearly interest rates of 139% violates various Illinois civil and criminal statutes.
On March 23, 2021 Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed a bill into law that will cap rates at 36% on consumer loans. The Predatory Loan Prevention Act will substantially restrict any entity from making usurious loans to consumers in Illinois. Also I recommended that you get on the Better Business Bureau website and look at the list of complaints and reviews that people have against them. They are not BBB Accredited. They are a bunch of thieves and liars and I don't understand how any one of them can feel okay with what they do to people. If they want to try to take all the money they can away from me and ruin my credit ILLEGALLY then I will do what it takes to ruin their reputation and shut them down.
These people have affected my mental health by causing me more anxiety and depression than I can even begin to describe. I may not have the financial means to hire a lawyer but I contacted some family members who do have the financial means to help me get justice and they are more than willing to help me pay for legal advice and action. I live in Illinois and finally contacted a lawyer today. If you live in Illinois I suggest you do the same!

I had a short term loan with Uprova. It was very easy to get approved, but I advise against it 100%. After my loan was paid off 1200, I still owed 1400 in interest? The interest never was added into the payments for some reason. If I hadn't looked at my account after my last payment was made I would not have seen that they were going to deduct that 1400 directly out of my account. I called and they fixed it. I have never experienced a company that could just change payments like that. Now I still owe 1400, which again, makes no sense. Do not get a loan through here!

Do not get a loan from his company EVER. Read the fine print. Their annual interest rate is 407%. Take out a $2000 loan and you will own $8000 by the end of the year. I did not get to see any paperwork beforehand or I would have NEVER accepted the loan. I don't have much money to begin with that why I needed to borrow and now you expect me to pay back 3x the amount. Barely any of my payment is going towards what I borrowed. Such a huge rip off. I'm in more debt now than when I started. Then the website never works. It's always getting Maintenance or they are resetting your password ever few days. No money for gas or to feed my kid (no govt assistance and no child support), can't pay rent... I was told 12/31/21 that they'd know an answer to the trace Monday/Tuesday... Yet no one informed me that they are closed today!!! I'm furious. And 1st payment is to be auto drafted on the 7th!!! I've now filed complaints with BBB and will continue to do so where I can.

I currently have a small loan through Uprova. I intended to use this type of loan responsibly, so I only took a minimal amount, just what I needed to cover an unexpected expense. I also took out only the size loan I knew I could pay off early to avoid such a high-interest rate. So now, 3-4 weeks into the loan, I'm ready to check my balance, make some early payments, and line myself to pay it off in a week or two... Here's the problem... They advertise that you can check your account 24/7 on their website. They advertise that still to this day... But do your homework and you'll see that their sign-in page has been down for a "scheduled upgrade" for almost a week...perhaps even longer before I started to try accessing my account.
I wouldn't call it a scheduled upgrade when it takes a WEEK to do it. Most companies upgrade their sites all the time and do it overnight, in a matter of a few hours at most. But a week? I'd fire your web developer! How much extra interest has been charged every day that I can't login to make a payment? Oh sure, you tell me to call, but first, I shouldn't have to, I do my business online, but I've also explained that I'm in Hawaii. By the time I can call, your Eastern Time customer service line is closed.
And then there's the canned response, which I'm sure you're going to see below as their reply to my review saying "We're sorry you didn't receive the 5-star service we're known for"... Really? Thanks for the copy and paste response. How about instead of spending time giving canned replies to your dissatisfied customers, you take a little of that time and effort and focus it on fixing the problem. Did I predict the future here? I'm sure this canned response appears below.
I've warned uprova that every single day that continues that I can not log in, I will leave another negative review on another site online. This is day 3, and my third negative review. I will continue with the negative reviews until this is fixed. Uprova has had way more than enough time to fix their website. Beware of this company, if something as fundamental as customer access to your account, your balance, your payment options, your loan documents, etc...are of any importance to you, then do NOT use uprova, because your experience is apparently not going to be very important to them.

Who does this borrowing? Only $500 shouldn't cost 1800$, that's no deal. It's a RIPOFF!, Who does this? It's one thing to borrow, but no one pays triple plus back, that's insane! They don't tell you. They just keep taking $ from you! Life is hard enough without companies stealing from people. Where are consumers' legal rights??

How this company has any 5 star reviews is beyond me. The rates they charge are criminal. I wonder if anyone has looked into this because there is a limit by law on how much a company can charge on interest. I wish I could upload a photo for all to see the actual interest rate that is being charged. For an 18 month loan of $1,500 you end up paying back $4,200. The interest rate stated is 437.31%! Are you kidding me? I don't know how anyone who works for this company can sleep at night. I know I will personally be looking into if this is even legal because reviewing California and Nevada interest rate laws, these rates are nowhere near the legal limit.
