I had lost my husband and I ended up in some debt. And United Debt Counselors is just a blessing. They contacted me and their enrollment process was great. Their customer service was terrific and the interaction was great. I'd call them if I didn’t understand something and if I'd have an extension but the rep wasn’t there, I'd leave a message and they'd call back. They even called back before it got started until it was done. The monthly payment was automatically withdrawn out of my account. The service is impressive and worth the cost.

I completed United Debt's program in about six months to a year. I got out pretty fast and I'm debt free now. The monthly phone calls really helped out a lot. They were available for me when I called them. Once we got a ball rolling on one of the credit cards, the negotiator was very attentive. He was there for me when I needed him and communication was good, so he made it a lot easier. I have recommended United Debt to my wife, and she’s going through a process right now.

There was a lot of turnover in United Debt Counselors. When I was in their program, I didn’t have a person all the time. I should’ve looked into it more. I didn’t realize how badly I get cremated in debt while I'm struggling to make payments. They told me not to make any more payments and ignore all the threatening phone calls. The first three or four months that I pay into their program, I'm paying them before they start to help me. It took about nine months before they started making payments to our creditors. Whenever my wife and I call them, they tell us to just give their number to the creditors. Nothing was helpful. Meanwhile, I was struggling to make my payments, but I was making them. I had a good credit then, but now, I have horrible credit.

My debt was out of control. I had something in the mail from United Debt Counselors and started calling. I used them to lower my debt with the people that I owe money to. Their enrollment process was pretty good but I was upset with them towards the end because I had four companies that I was dealing with for debt. They helped me with two companies, but they were smaller ones. However, American Express and Optima didn't wanna do anything with a third party and I had to negotiate myself. United Debt walked me through what to say and do though. I paid them over $8,000 but I could’ve just used paid that money towards my debts and negotiated myself. They should’ve known in the beginning that American Express and Optima don't deal with third parties. If they told me then I could’ve said that I would handle it myself.

I had gotten in debt. I’ve gotten so many credit cards and I couldn’t get them all paid off. I saw an advertisement of United Debt Counselors and I signed up for their program. I went straight to them, talked to the girl, and I was impressed with them. They did a good job and helped me get all my bills paid off. And it’s all through now. It took over a three-year period to complete and their program worked out really well for me. It helped me get in a good situation.

I completed a debt consolidation program with United Debt in about two and a half years. They worked with me on a payment plan that was convenient for me, and they were checking on me to see how I was doing. United Debt made life easier.

The enrollment process over the phone was really thorough and good, and the reps explained everything in small details. The payment plan was a little hard at first, but then it got better and I completed the program in two years. I would recommend it.

We were having issues with our credit cards which led us to United Debt Counselors. I signed up and their enrolment process was very simple. The program has helped me pay off all those credit cards and get out of debt. They worked with me and if I didn't have the money for a particular month, I call them and they postpone the payment to the following month. Since completing their program, we don't use credit cards as much as we used to.

She explained to me the program and I agreed to what she was saying. I read the letter that others were sending me and they had a limit part so I didn’t like that. They were also charging me too much. I couldn’t afford it that was why I wanted to do the consolidation. United Debt Counselors came in at the right time because I had moved to Louisiana, and that was when they sent the letter.

The lady that I talked to at United Debt was very convincing. I wasn’t too happy about the initial situation ‘cause they didn’t tell me that my credit was gonna be messed up. They didn’t in fact explain to me that once I signed up, my creditor would be putting me in in the credit bureau. For the past 18 months, I was in the credit bureau so I couldn’t buy anything. I had no credit and that was definitely a problem. If they had said that to me, I probably wouldn’t be in the program. Nevertheless, United Debt got all the bills taken care of.

The people were very nice. I had credit card debt and they made things painless. A lady told me I could pay $290 a month and be out in 32 months. I said that would be a good one and I completed the program in June. United Debt was good to me.

I wanted to pay off some debt that we had to save money 'cause my husband had student loans coming up. I Googled the internet and United Debt has pretty good reviews, and that was where I went. Everybody was very compassionate and caring, and they have wonderful customer service. I talked to so many different people and all the courtesy calls were appreciated. Lisa who was in the settlement department was really kind and compassionate. She helped me 'cause I was nervous and I didn't wanna get in trouble. I was never late in my bills and she kinda helped me through it when my creditors went to law firms.

I called United Debt and everybody that I talked to including the lady that came and brought the paperwork to my house was really nice. Everything was explained really good and they made sure I understood everything. They also made making payments easy. I recommend United Debt to everybody that I know. It was really a big help. I got it done and I wasn’t being bothered so much. I was very impressed.

A guy who had a big packet for me came to my house and we got a bunch of paperwork. I had some credit card debt, they were up and I told him what credit cards I needed help with. There were 10 of them and United Debt got those cards all squared away. I paid my monthly payments and last month, they told me that I had graduated from the program. I was in it for three to five years and for the first year or two, I spoke to Yolanda, and then it was random people who would call, looking to see if I had any questions. Overall, United Debt is up-to-date. They call you. You call them, and they get back to you. They stand up for things and they try to get somebody who would help with what you’re calling about. They’re on the up and up and they do what they say they do. If I ever got in trouble again, I’d go back to them.

I had a debt with Chase Bank that I wouldn't be able to pay and United Debt Counselors offered to help me out. I made an agreement with Chase Bank and United really made me work on the case. The lady whom I worked with was very enthusiastic to help me out and get free of debt. She made me feel comfortable with her. United and got to an agreement on the phone with regards to monthly payments. I ended up having to pay chump change for the debt instead of paying the whole thing. I took time for me to pay it all. Now that I've paid, United called me to say that they’re gonna send me a certificate and I'm still waiting for that. I also need confirmation from Chase Bank that my payments are complete.

I called up United Debt and had some questions, and then they put me in touch with a client that was in the program, and we talked personally on the phone. After I talked with her, I felt much more comfortable. It was very easy to enroll to their program and their rep was very easy to talk to. They would check in from time to time just to see how things were going, and for any questions. The communication was very smooth.

I owed JCPenney $600. For about two years, I continued paying $150 every month and the debt would never go down. United Debt helped me out and I’m satisfied. If not for them, I would’ve never gotten out of that credit card debt. It’s not easy to come out of that thing. It's not t easy to pay $15,000. It would take another 20 years to pay that. United Debt is a very wonderful company and I respect it so much. They have a very good program which worked in many ways. Everybody is very nice. I did it for almost 20 months and I didn’t have any problem with them. You call them and they’re there for you. They tell you the right thing. I’m finished with the program and I don’t want to be near credit cards now. I’m afraid of that. It's dangerous. For the rest of my life, I will never want it.

I was making payments on time to my credit card but the interest was too high so I used United Debt. I was so happy with my experience enrolling with them. Yolanda, the lady who came and helped me enroll, was so pleasant and very kind. And David, my consultant, was efficient. The monthly payment that I had to make with United Debt was less than what I was actually paying through my way. Now, I’m done with the program. My credit went down, but now, it’s increasing. It’s a relief. I recommend United Debt and put seven of my friends with them.

I had too much debt and United Debt took care of it. Everything was good. I really recommend them because I've known some others where they just view it over the phone and over the internet. But United Debt had a fella come to the house which was really great. They have other people working outside of there and they call me every month and see if I had any questions.

I was spending more money than I was bringing in. I was looking through the internet looking at things and United Debt Counselors caught my eye. I called and had a fellow come out to the house from Texas and we signed up with him. I liked the idea, so we made a plan and we worked on it. We had three different outstanding debts and we looked at the interest rate. We had two Citi card debt and Wells Fargo. He suggested that we could start with the one that had the highest interest rate, then we could start knocking it out on that one, so that is what we did.

I got something in the mail where United Debt Counselors spelled out their procedure, so I contacted them and I was well-satisfied. The enrollment process was very easy. A middle-aged lady came by and got me signed up. It was very personal. She was very knowledgeable and she put me at ease about the whole process. Throughout the program, United Debt Collectors kept me informed of everything that was going on, and I knew where I stood with whatever credit card they were working on. They have set me up with a payment plan that I was able to make and I designated the payments. It was entirely up to me because they gave me choices of what payment type and how much they wanted me to get out of my bank account. They also gave me a good picture of the time I was going to pay off my debts. I was able to put away the amount that they designated and in three years, it was all over. I have already completed the program.

But if I have questions, there were a lot of phone tag and they call me back within one to two days. Other than that, working with United Debt made my life better and increased my credit score. They said I completed the program, but I still got one outstanding bill. I was wondering if they could help me with it, but they said I have to take care of it on my own.

United Debt Counselors came in and sat with me, and they told me what the procedure was and how much I would have to pay monthly. I was in a bind and they helped me budget. I pushed to pay the monthly fee, which was good, and the monthly payments were reasonable for me.

United Debt Counselors helped us really get out of debt and got us back on the right track. The enrollment process went really easy. They have very friendly people working there. I completed the program around two years and the debt consultant was so nice. He was concerned about us and that really made the difference.

We had a total of three credit cards that we've been trying to get straightened out. I sought United Debt's services and the enrollment process was okay. We did all of the processes then they sent me out the package. I sent back things that they had to get and they were good about it. We started with the smaller ones first then went to the big one. With the first two cards, United Debt’s negotiator was able to get everything worked out with the people that we owed the money to. But the last one, which was not their fault, the negotiator kept trying to send the information to the bank who kept sending the paperwork back. So, I let it go for three months from the time she started on this.

United Debt Counselors was the first company I picked and their enrollment process was easy. Their program worked and I’m done with it.

We needed somebody to help us with our bills. We decided to call United Debt Counselors and somebody came over and helped us get signed up. They got my bills all lowered and got them paid off for me. They did a good job on it. The enrollment process wasn't that hard at all. When they told us how the payment plan worked, it went really smoothly. I worked with two people and they both did a good job. They kept us informed and all the times that I had questions, they were there to answer them. They called us every time that they got a bill that they were trying to get paid off. They got everybody's information and they did a real good job for us. The monthly payments were easy. They were automatically taken out of our check so we didn't have to worry about it.

United Debt Counselors got it where I didn’t have to keep paying on my timeshare. The monthly payment program was reasonable. I was able to manage that quite well. They treated me very well, and everything went fine.

I was in over my head with credit card debt and I needed help getting things paid off back to where I needed to be. For the amount of what the credit cards were costing me, the payment plan they came up with was great. It came to 388.03 a month and we worked with that until the debt was paid off. They also figured out how long it would take me to pay it off.

I called them up, they took my information, I got some papers signed and I was off to the races. They arranged to consolidate my debt and lower it. I also called them several times to see where things were and how soon I would be finished. They told me that I will pay into the fund that I would be held and at the end of a certain time, the debt would be paid. And so, I paid on it and now, it’s finished. I'm satisfied with United Debt and I recommend it. It settled my debt in a number of months. I'm debt-free and I'll be able to enjoy my life.

I was in the hospital and because of the hospital debt, I couldn't make all the payments as I had before. I contacted United Debt Counselors and enrolling with them was easily accomplished. I had to call because I don't have computers, and it was fine. Their representative was very knowledgeable and kind, and she helped a great deal. They were also nonjudgmental because it was a hard decision for me to make since if I hadn't landed in a hospital twice within a month, that wouldn't have happened. I would've continued to pay off the credit cards on my own after that. United took into account everything but if I had a question or a concern, they got back to me with a response the same day. If I happen to call later in the afternoon, they get back to me first thing in the morning. Right now, the debt is paid off and it’s definitely a relief.

United Debt Counselors had the lowest monthly payments so I went with them. It was easy enrolling and I was impressed with the debt consultants whom I worked with. They have quick response and were able to answer all my questions. My payment plan with United Debt was based on the debt ratio and I have completed their program.

I called United Debt Counselors then met with someone. I then sent the paperwork I signed to them. Their reps were very kind people and were good helpers. They were always calling. I completed their program in 3 years and I found it really interesting. I encourage everyone to participate in this program. I was so glad to be part of it.

I was broke and I was going deeper in debt. I had done some research and work, and United Debt Counselors has the best rating and program. It was pretty easy to get enrolled with them. I find the cost quite fair, and they based my payments on the debt that I had and divided it all out over a period of time. I only have one bill that they couldn’t pay which I guess was because the people would not agree at all since they’re a federal credit union. But other than that, United Debt Counselors had negotiated and did things in a timely manner. Their consultants have done so great with me and were very polite. They also answered all my questions during the three-year period and kept in touch with me every month. I have completed the program which really worked. Instead of retiring in about 10 years, I could retire this year. Overall, United Debt Counselors did a good job. I was perfectly satisfied with them.

I had worked with United Debt a couple of years ago and they were dependable and honest. I called them again for another service and they sent out a representative. She went through all the papers with me. It was like signing for a mortgage but it was very complete, thorough and friendly. But there was a misunderstanding of why I was calling and it was a little difficult. She got her supervisor and she finally understood exactly what I wanted and how we wanted to set it up.

I received a letter and made the phone call to United Debt Counselors. I wanna know if the company was legit and then the rep who I spoke with explained everything, step-by-step. And then he recommended the person in the notary. They came to my house and we followed what the rep said. What they did was really good. I am debt-free right now. The best part was that when there was one company that didn’t wanna settle because I was making the minimum payments regularly, I had some money left over in my account. So they sent me the check, and I paid off that bank. It was great.

I just got a divorce. As the divorce wasn't my fault, I didn't want to have to pay Etsy, Amazon and everything linked to my credit cards. I needed to cut them off and let United Debt take care of that. Once they signed me up, they let me know what my payments would be a month. They asked me what my mortgage was and if I had any other payments. Then they started going with that to try to get my debts settled, preferably not with all the late charges. They kept in contact with me and got everything settled. We only ended up paying full price for one. With another, I got it at half-price. Now, I've graduated from the program and all my debt has been cleared. It ended up being cheaper to go through big settlements.

I was over my head in bills and after I called United Debt and made arrangements, the reps came to the house at my convenience. They were the first that I spoke with and it was a very good interaction. They were very respectful, helpful and didn’t try to make me feel bad about the fact that I got myself in trouble. It was easy to get started in their program and aside from getting my bills paid off, my credit scores improved very much. Working with United Debt gave me a lot of relief and I would recommend them.

As I was watching TV, United Debt Counselors was advertised and I loved it. At the same time, I was looking at all my credit card bills. I was doing monthly payments and the interest was killing me. I had gotten sick and I was on a short term disability, which didn’t even cover half of my check. No matter how much you make, New York State disability only allows you $170 a week. It was no way that my bills, my rent, life insurance and medical would have been covered. So, I decided to take all my credit cards and put them in a program. United Debt Counselors was the first one that popped up when I turned the TV on, so I went for it.

I got a phone call from United Debt. They were the only ones I talked to and the enrollment process was fairly easy. The staff was good although their website was hard to use. I could never remember what I needed to get into it. They called me once a month anyway, and I did call them a couple of times. So, after fighting with the website for a couple of times, I didn’t try it anymore. I just reached them through the telephone. The cost of the program was a little high but it is what it is and now, I’m out of debt.

United Debt was the only company I called but they served me well. It wasn’t difficult at all getting into their program which helped me pay all the bills that I needed to pay off and have a fresh start. The rep was a nice guy and had a very good knowledge of the process. What he said was what happened. Different persons took over certain obligations and everybody fulfilled what they said they would. The cost was fair as well and I would recommend United Debt.

When I went with United Debt, it was my husband that made me decide on it and the enrollment process was very easy. The rep gave me a lot of information. I was comfortable with her approach and she explained stuff to me that I didn't understand. The payment was okay and I enjoyed it. Working with United Debt was very good and they settled two credit cards that I had. I would recommend them.

I needed someone with more knowledge on what to do but the companies didn't care and wouldn't talk to me. If I could make the payments to what I can afford, that would have been all right, but they would not lower the payments for me and kept charging me 20%. It got to a point where I had only one other choice or it would have been to file bankruptcy but I decided to get United Debt Counselors' services. A rep came to my house and explained a lot of things. What he said ended up costing me more money and I couldn't afford anything but whatever it was, there was nothing I can do about it. I had to add the bills up and with my income coming in, I had to prove that I couldn't afford to pay the firm all this money they wanted. I had gone through my motion and paid all my bills. I would recommend United Debt Counselors.

I have been placed on unexpected disability. I have a condition of a bone deterioration and I had hip replacement. I worked through those times, and I had totally figured maybe I'll go through the whole 65, and it didn’t happen. I got a bad knee, and they told me I had to go on disability which I wasn’t prepared for financially because I needed those extra five years to clear out my credit card debt.

United Debt contacted me and told me what they could do. Though all my bills weren't behind, I had to let go of one bill behind in order for them to help me on it. The enrolment process worked well and the rep who came to help me enroll did a good job. United Debt was taking $260 a month out of my account automatically to work on what they were doing. I liked whenever they call and tell me if anything was settled. I just completed their program and they sent me a check back. They did a great job for me and I'm thankful for them.

We were over our heads in credit card debt and we attempted to short sell our home, which didn't work out very well, so we were deep under. There was an option of going bankrupt, but we thought we could handle the debt consolidation without going bankrupt. After doing a very short interview, we decided to look into a debt counseling service with United Debt Counselors. We made the appointment and we did the eye-to-eye type of meeting. We got the information that they said they would send and we got the packet within 24 hours. The information that was in there was self-explanatory. United Debt Counselors said they were gonna send somebody over and go over the paperwork with us. Then, they notarized it at the same time.

I checked with the Better Business Bureau and United Debt Counselors had a positive rating so I thought I would at least check it out. They provided credit card consolidation and we discussed what I could handle as far as payment. They worked with me within that. I had three credit cards and as each one was finished, they would go to the second one and explain if there needed to be any change in the amount. We always worked it out to where I was able to take care of my other regular monthly bills without any stress.

I got a letter from United Debt one time telling me that they'd help me consolidate anything. I decided I needed to do that, and the enrollment process went well. I wrote some letters and I put everything in their hands. They provided a consolidating and negotiating program for me. The cost of the service was very good and the reps handled everything very well. They called me with updates or to ask me if there were any questions I needed any help on. They kept up on everything, and although they didn't give me any timeline at first, they have now. In March, I'll be all done and I'll be okay. I'm ecstatic that everything's gonna be taken care of and I won't have to worry about any of that now. I've been satisfied with United Debt and I'm really glad that I went with them. They handled my problem very well.

My wife had lost her job and we ended up living off credit cards for quite a while. But we got to the point where we couldn't keep up. United Debt Counselors was the one that I talked to that I liked. They had somebody come to the house and I gave him all my credit cards and the amounts. And then, United got back to me with a plan and we went from there. They told me that it was gonna be $568 and change for 36 months and it would be taken care of. I fulfilled my part. I did my 36 months and they took a payment out each month out of my account. But when it was all said and done, there were still two cards that weren't taken care of. So, somebody either lied to me, didn't do what they were supposed to do, or ended up giving more than they should have to a card.

They made the process go easy and all I did was answer their questions and they took the ball and ran with it.

I like the calls that they give me every month to make sure everything was okay. I would have liked them to be a little more knowledgeable because I've asked them about the form that I have to fill out for the taxes if we have to and they said they didn’t know and to do it on my own. But overall I was satisfied with the service. They've helped me.

Everything with the debt consolidation process went pretty well with me, too. The monthly payment was a little high, though. It also took a little too long for them to make the settlements which got me a little upset. They told me it'd take four to four and a half years, but it ended up taking over five years. Other than that, it worked out in the end so I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

A representative then came to the house, talked me through everything and explained everything. She knew what she was doing and it went really smooth. I felt very comfortable working with my consultant, too. Now, I'm done paying off my two different outstanding debts and it was a big relief off of me. I’d recommend United Debt Counselors to anybody.

We wanted to cut the bill of one credit card in half and we were approached by this company so we knew that they could do it. The enrollment was a very professional and honest transaction. We're making payments with them until it's all said and done, and the program has been helping out. It has cut down on my mother's payments on her bill here so she can catch up on another one. She's doing very well on what she's doing with this company. The people we've dealt with have also been professional and everything's been hunky dory. As a matter of fact, we were talking about United Debt Counselors the other day and my mother said that she hasn't heard anything from them. But I told her that that's good. Working with United Debt Counselors gives us less worries.

I’m getting close to 60 and there are some debts that I’ve been struggling to take care of over the last couple of years. Then if I had any questions, I could call them. They were very nice to me too. I have also told other people about United Debt Counselors.

I just listed everything I owed and told them what income I had and all the bills that I was paying. Then they approached my creditors and asked them if they could work with me and they all did. One time, I had like an issue with the payment coming out. The person that I talked to said if I was not able to make the payment, it would go back and would have to start over. But it didn’t happen like that. I just called to let them know that the day that they were supposed to draft from my account and that the money would not be there because of other extenuating circumstances. They waited before they drafted it. United Debt is a good service to have for people that are struggling and maybe want to buy a house and stuff like that.

United Debt Counselors combined all of my credit card bills and they worked out a plan to fit what I could afford. They gave me a monthly bill then I just sent the payments and they handled the rest. The program didn't help my credit rating, but over a period of time, I got all my credit cards paid off. United Debt's reps were very helpful and I felt comfortable working with them. They kept in touch with me and let me know what was going on. Whenever I had a question, all I had to do was pick up the phone and call them. They would give me an answer right then. Working with them was very good for me, and now, I'm not head over heels in credit card debt.

There was a letter in the mail and I called the number on it. I spoke with Debra from United Debt and said she was gonna send out somebody. I was off on the weekend that she was gonna send a person to the house so I told her yes. The person came out, talked with me and gave me the details. After she talked with me, I didn't like United Debt, but I just decided to work with them after all. They wanted me to put all my accounts in but I said "no" and just put in two.

My husband and I are getting older and we wanted to clear up all our credit cards. The credit cards were in my husband's name and he chose to go with United Debt. A lady from United Debt came to visit at the house and she explained everything. At first, I was doubtful, but I had to pinch myself to keep going. We have completed the program and have had a good experience with them. However, it was kinda disappointing because they originally said it would take three years, but it took four. After two years into the program, I was told that the three years was only an estimate. They also told me that they would offer the creditors 30% and then it went to 40% and then they were paying 50%. But everybody at United Debt was nice and friendly and they listened to me. I would recommend them to others.

The people at United Debt Counselors were friendly and helpful. They were so convincing so I gave them a try and it worked. Whatever the told me they were going to do, they did it. They walked me through and when I had a question, they would answer it and tell me that everything is gonna work out. They kept their word and I've had a great experience with them thus far.

A credit card concerns led me to seek services from United Debt Counselors. The enrollment went excellent and the very friendly people explained everything. They said it was gonna be three years, but it wound up being two years and eight months. The consultant was very helpful. In fact, I also got an overpayment check in the mail the day before yesterday, so I was very happy. I had them withdraw the monthly payment from my bank account. However, they withheld the money. I thought they paid as I paid, but they didn't. But, outside of that, everything was fine. The credit card people were very happy with it, too. Working with them has saved me a lot of money. That was the perfect little journey to change my life. I highly recommend it.

I was so overloaded with credit card debt. We had a lot of medical expense, some home expense, but mostly we had car repairs. I sought help from United Debt Counselors, which I saw was advertised on TV. When I talked to them at that time, the gentleman explained to me how it worked. Enrolling in the service was very easy. They took my case. Something was sent to the mail, I signed it and got it back to them. We took care of the administrative part.

The guy that I talked to at United Debt Counselors was pretty good at explaining everything and he set me up with their debt counseling service on the same day that I called. The enrollment process was very easy. They sent me a packet in the mail, then I filled it out and sent it back. I also sent them a copy of all my bills. All of the debt consultants that I worked with were pretty good. If I had a question, I called them and they asked me to email my complaints, then they handled it from there. I got ahold of someone every time I called and it wasn't difficult at all. The payment plan that they put me on was fine and they took into account my budget. The cost of the service was fine too. The program that they provided for me was a three to four-year plan. At this point, I'm through with the program and I paid for my debt less than what I owed.

I had some extraordinary bills and my job had cut me down to part-time, so I just couldn't pay them anymore. The information about United Debt Counselors came in the mail and I decided to call in and to find out. I didn't know much about these things at the time. When I spoke to the guy, he explained the things over the phone and that was when I decided to give them a try. After we spoke, he said to me that I would have been a good client to do the program and we took it from there. Someone came to the house and explained the payment and gave me a time that I wanted to put out. Also, he gave me a breakdown of the pricing that it was gonna cost. It was a lot of money for me to pay monthly, but I stuck with it.

United Debt Counselors sent me something in the mail and when I got it, I just had my now three-year-old and I needed to get some debt off my back as a single mom of two now. The people I worked with were good and they walked me through everything. My debt was taken care of and I'd recommend them.

I went with United Debt Counselors to get back financially sound. I was provided with a debt consolidation deal. It was painless and it went well. I also did not get hassled by the credit companies. The reps call once a month, checking with everything. The monthly program payment was way less than what I had before, too. My experience with them went as I thought it would go, and working with them got me where I needed to be.

United Debt Counselors gave me a cheaper rate and they took in all the information during the enrollment process. I met with somebody and signed papers. The debt consultants were good. They never asked me any questions and they never bothered me. I just signed up and rolled the money out, and I didn't have to deal with them anymore. They called every once in a while and somebody would ask me how things were going.

The communication with United Debt Counselors was good. I was concerned about putting my social security number out there, where a lot of people won't even, and you have to give them information first before they will do any other communication. And they were able to email stuff and do other forms of communication other than just by the phone to verify. I had to pay $5,000 initially towards the program. Then, I got my first negotiation letter saying, "This credit card will accept this amount. Do you want to pay it off?" I wouldn't give them any extra money because I was still kinda skeptical. But I finally got onto it and once a month I've seen a letter come back from that first credit card company, then I started sending way bigger payments. That was how I got it off my records after.

It had been three years since I signed up with United Debt Counselors. I called them and talked to them about their services and they sent a representative out. She talked to me and we just went from there. The debt counselor was great and helped me out a lot. United set up my payment plan and then it went okay until I got to do what I have to do. I heard from them once a month and I called them for questions. I'd leave my number and they'd call me right back. I felt really comfortable working with them. So far, I'm finished with the program and my experience with them has been great. I'd recommend United Debt Counselors.

I had good experience with United Debt Counselors. I had a lot of credit cards and I was having trouble paying them off. I enrolled with United Debt as they seemed to have the best offer among similar companies. They helped me pay off my credit cards. I paid a certain amount each month and they worked with my creditors to settle the account. They kept in touch with me and told me everything that was going on and pulled no punches. They let me know what was paid off and what wasn’t. Everything went smoothly. I’d recommend United Debt to anybody.

Predatory practices. Lies. Manipulation. They will only make your situation worse. They prey on veterans. Read all of the fine print. You will end up being in a worse situation and they are making themselves rich of of your misfortune.

I needed help with credit cards and my wife sort of directed me to United Debt Counselors. When I enrolled, I learned a lot of things that I didn't know about their process, but it seemed to be relatively simple. But when I had questions for the rep that came to my home, he seemed to do the standard protocols, read from a book, and really didn't tell me some direct thoughts and answers. Then one time, there was a scenario where I had to negotiate a debt and I felt like I got thrown to the lions and wouldn't get through one. I thought that they were gonna be helping me negotiate all my debts and it might have been by the law that existed that I had to do it face to face as opposed to them interacting with my creditor, but I wasn't impressed with what happened. And it didn't feel like I had enough information going into that discussion with the creditor about it. But in the end, it worked out.

My husband passed away and left me with a lot of debt and no life insurance. United Debt Counselors was the only one I remember ever contacting me and they provided me with a monthly payment plan. United Debt Counselors has paid off all the bills I was left.

They presented an application and how much the bills were. Then, they came up with an offer amount to pay and we came up with an agreement. I filled out their application of what their agreement was. They went over each page very carefully, we agreed to it, and we signed everything. United Debt did what they told me they'd do and I was comfortable working with them. They took care of the bills and I didn't have to deal with the bill collectors. I've completed the program and I don't have the bills anymore. United Debt is a good place to deal with.

I had two large credit card debts that I ended up having to pay IRS some money and it was making it really tight to pay all my bills. I've looked at different companies and I felt most comfortable with talking to United Debt Counselors. I enrolled, called, and they had someone come out and meet me at a local subway and sign paperwork for it. The meet up was brief. United had already explained everything on the phone and we just went over all the paperwork. It’s easy to work with them.

This company sends offers of credit reduction/debt consolidation services designed to look like a notice of Debt Collection with scare tactic phrases like: “Failure to Call” and “In addition penalties may accrue in the event of unpaid obligations” in order to frighten susceptible individuals into contacting them.

United Debt Counselors was great. I went with them because I wanted to get rid of my debts and their enrollment process was easy. I met with their representative and that went great as well. Their debt consultants were very good, too. They were easy to get a hold of when I needed them, plus they worked with me on my monthly program payment and they were flexible. I already completed their program and United Debt helped me really good.

My friend and I called United Debt Counselors' number and a gentleman came out. He was fine and our meeting went well. I signed papers for the loan and I was glad that I could take care of the debt because the bills that I was getting from Capital One was above and beyond what I was able to pay. I was very comfortable working with United and everything went well. Everybody was very kind and they checked on me once a month to make sure that everything was going okay.

I had credit card problems so I called United Debt Counselor and we made some arrangement. I just paid off the last of the credit cards about two months ago after five years. During the enrollment I called the guy up and he explained to us the situation. I signed up and there was one little glitch there. I didn’t understand the whole process. They collect all their money before they start applying anything to my problem, and I think that ought to change. I got no problem with them collecting their funds but I think a certain percentage, even if it’s a small one, should go towards clearing up the debt as well as getting their fee.

My daughter's been getting this debt collector looking letter from this company (already twice in the recent weeks) that is nothing more than basically offering credit settlement service. The problem is that the letter drafted on a pink paper (like the one that the debt collectors use to threaten you) along with all kinds of threatening wording such as "contact our office immediately", "** failure to call **", "will likely result in", "second attempt", "within 10 days", "to avoid unnecessary delays", "entitled to settlements", and so on.

My ex-wife asked me for a divorce. We got eight cards that were run out and I didn't know who was gonna handle all of the debt. She said we’ll see in court, so I had to get somebody to start working on it. I’ve seen the advertisement on TV for United Debt Counselors and I decided to go with them. Their reps didn’t talk to me too much and I didn't hear from them often. I had to ask them how many of our eight cards did they got paid and they told me they got them all taken care of except for Discover because they’re being a hardball player.

I got overwhelmed with my bills and I used United Debt for debts and it offered a relief out in everything. They happened to be close by while others were so far away so I went with them. Initially, we didn’t have to pay the bill. And then, when the creditor was calling about my debt, they were nice about it. They could understand the problem. But when they were trying to get in touch with United Debt, they would not comment on anything or tell them what was going on. so the creditors had to call me to find out, “You’ve been paying all this time and all of sudden, no nothing. We just want to know what’s going on because we can offer some help too.” United Debt's program really has not worked for me.

I had a bunch of credit cards that United Debt Counselors helped me with. While the people there seem to change every once in a while, every one I dealt with knew what they were doing. They also kept the price really low and I got everything paid off now. Working with United Debt Counselors got me to where I'm paying my bills now.

Enrolling with them was mostly on the phone, then somebody, who was polite and professional, came to my home to do the affidavit so that was convenient. Angie, the last debt consultant, got the ball rolling to finish the process. She was fantastic and I loved her. She gave me the lowdown and she was upfront and very timed. She tried her best to get the best deal that she could for me, which she did.

Their reps talked to my credit card people and told them that they would give them a certain amount and they cleared up all my credit card bills. Their rep would call me and check and see if I had any problems. They would make sure they would call me and let me know how much they offered to pay the credit card company off. They kept me informed. Overall, the cost was good and they did what they said they were gonna do. They got rid of my debt. I would recommend them.

I was in credit card debt and United Debt Counselors was the first program that I really sat to. I had a fine interaction with their people and I was able to pay off my debt. It feels good that they helped but they could have paid it off sooner.

I had too many credit card debts and United Debt Counselors provided me with a debt settlement program. The enrollment process was scary. And I wasn't positive of doing it, but I didn't have any other choice. The process was hard to do and it took a long time but United Debt's reps were great and were always there ready to answer any question I had. And I have no credit cards and I'm out of debt now. I called one other company and when they answered the phone, the first thing they did was give me an advertisement for something, and I thought, "Nope. Not interested in that company." And when I called United Debt Counselors, they seemed very professional. I had a monthly payment program with them. They said, "This is the amount that we need every month." And they just took it directly from my bank account and we got rid of the debt. For the first six months, I only had a certain person calling to ask if I had any questions or anything. And I had different people after.

I’m good at paying my bills and when I couldn’t get rid of my debt, I reached out to United Debt and I used them. They followed through but I would not do that again or suggest them to others. I felt there was too much out-of-pocket money that I paid but there are so many other things they can do now that I didn’t have to come out with as much. And if I could not afford United Debt’s cost, I could've worked out a deal with the people I owed instead of using the third party which was the whole purpose. It didn’t make any sense to me and United Debt has defeated its purpose in a way. If I was gonna give them the money, I could have been the one who was gonna pay the bill with that.

I had a little problem with debts so I tried to get my account set up with United Debt Counselors. I did the program, finished with it already, and so I paid off everything except for 2 accounts they didn’t get settled for me. They had to send it to another place and they gave me a settlement and I had to come up with some money to pay them off.

I've been with United Debt Counselors for about six years now and it's been a very pleasant experience with them. I had more money going out than I had coming in and this company was recommended to me. The enrollment process for debt consolidation didn't take very long. I called them and they set me up an appointment. I then talked to someone over the phone and all I had to do was supply the company that I owed money to, what the balance was, how much my payments were every month, and how much my income was. And I had just lost my husband, so my income had shrunk more than half.

United Debt Counselors was on TV, I called them and the young lady came. I like the way she spoke and she was very nice. She explained everything about how it worked and what it would do for me if I give it a try. She broke it down and there was nothing to question about it. She told me that if I was not happy about it, I can get off with it. There was nothing out of the ordinary to make me think of it so I tried it and I have no regrets. I stayed all the way with them because they were true to their words. There was nothing phony about them so I was very happy.

We had another company that was helping us pay off in full a lot of loans that we had overextended. And then our luck changed and we had absorbed four grandkids into our home. That put us in a bind where we didn't have any money, and so somebody put us in touch with United Debt Counselors. United Debt let us know that we didn't have to pay off all of our delinquent loans in full and that they would work with the creditors to try to bargain with them to pay a part of it. There was a lady who met us at the local library to talk to us about it and the enrollment process was easy. Our account went to a man, then it ended up with another lady.

United Debt Counselors was calling me all the time for a long time. They were persistent and they finally got into convincing me. I appreciate their persistence because if they wouldn't have done it, I would still be in the same boat. I am getting too old and I couldn't handle any more debts. I have an illness so I'm forgetting things, and I'm getting too tired going on social security. United Debt is really helpful and they made everything in the enrolment process so easy. They sent somebody home so they could do the paperwork and walked me through everything. It's like my account with them was so personal and so close that they understood my situation.

I was told one thing by one person and then told another thing, something totally different, by another person. They did not communicate. They sometimes would contact me every month, and then sometimes, it'd be two or three months. And each time would be a different person. They supposedly talked to my creditors and got them to lower what I owed. They took the payment out of my checking account, but they kept months and months and months before they even started even paying off the credit cards. Eventually, it got the credit cards paid off and I don't owe as many creditors now. But, the way they did it totally ruined my credit in a way that it will never come back. I would never recommend it to anyone else.

I got a credit card debt that I couldn't pay down. United Debt Counselors had been calling me, and I never answered them back. But one day, it sounded like a good idea. I got into their debt settlement program and my representative met me at a restaurant, and we went over all the paperwork and I signed the papers there. During the enrollment, I had to write a hardship letter and they told me to quit paying my credit cards and they would tell the credit card people that I'm not paying them anymore. And with money I was paying them, they paid off my credit card with the lowest balance first, and then the next one and the next one, until I got sued by the last one. And then we made an agreement with them, and I actually paid off more than I was planning on paying off out of pocket. But they got rid of all of them. United Debt would call every month to let me know what was going on. I'm done with the process and it worked for me.

I needed to consolidate a lot of debt that I have and I went with United Debt Counselors. We had used a different company years before and they did not want to consolidate our bills because we would have had to consolidate mine and my husband's. However, I'm just doing my bills 'cause we pay them separately. On the other hand, United Debt Counselors would do that and so I chose to go with them. But the enrollment process was terrible. On the phone part, it was okay. But there were so many pages to go through. To read all that information took forever. And then, I had to meet somebody and sign it in person with that person and go over even more papers and make sure that I knew all the ins and outs about it. That was just annoying.

All I did was pay United debt consolidation on top of all the bills they were supposed to help me save money on. I was supposed to be out of debt In 3 years. What a joke! For the first year all my money goes to pay the debt consolidation. After about a year I find myself being sued by my creditors. The only way my bills got settled was me paying them. You guys are a joke.

I got hit with a large tax bill for 2016 because I did not receive all my 1099s from UDC. Very concerning. It put me in a financial bind. One of the credit cards I had under control is now a major bill and I have retired and I am on a fixed income.

I had major debt and was in a serious financial situation. United Debt Service resolved my debts in 30 months. I could have never gotten out of debt without them. If you have serious debt problems, give them a call. They can help you sleep at night again.

They did a great job for me. I was able to pay off my credit card debt sooner than expected because of the sale of my farm. UDC did negotiate my indebtedness down from about $20,000 down to about %10,000. I shall always be grateful to them for their action on my behalf.

There were some things that were not explained to me in the beginning. Customer Service was helpful in answering my questions. My account Reps were always helpful especially helping me out with a creditor before I lost everything to them.

They did wonderful for us, they called us, keep us updated on everything. I recommend this program to people if they needed it but it was longer than what we expected. The people you talk to if don’t understand them they get people for you to understand.

I wanted to consolidate some bills, so I could get them paid off. I contacted United Debt Counselors and the lady who signed me up was very informative, which was the reason I agreed to go along with it, and that was a quick way for me to get out of debt from all of my creditors. I was impressed. Signing up was a good and very easy transaction. The lady came to my house and assisted me in filling out the forms, so the transaction went smoothly. Things have been better since I've been with United Debt because they’ve helped me pay off the creditors. So, that’s a load off of me.

I went through their program and there was about $3,200 that they took in the first six months that didn’t go to any of my payments, which was weird. Their representative was really informative and she was with me all the time. But she would turn me over to some others and it was a while before they got in touch with me.

I was $ 60,000 in debt and my partner was $ 20,000 and from the great "negotiations" that the staff did with creditors, we are debt free within 3 years. Lisa ** had a lot to do in helping with this process and she always advised me what to do and is "more than a valuable asset" to your company! Lisa was so professional with creditors and made me feel that I could totally trust her in all negotiations and recommendations that she made to me. Without her, this process may not have gone as smoothly as it did! I recommend a total annual raise for Lisa and a bonus, as I would strongly recommend your organization to others that need help with unsecured debt. You can't begin to imagine how great it is to be debt free and be able to retire last October 16th! I appreciate everything that all the staff has done for both of us! Kudos to all!

My daughter was involved with United Debt Counselors and she told me about it, gave me the number, and I called them up because I was in a bad situation. I did not have anybody to give me the answers that I got from them. And then United Debt Counselors sent somebody out to work with me and everything. Enrollment process and everyone in the program were all wonderful. They explained things to me without being like I was wasting their time. And when I called, someone always returned my calls and explained all the questions that I have. So, it was a wonderful program. They worked very well with me on my monthly program payment, too. And even though sometimes I called them to death, everybody I talked to was patient. I appreciated what they were doing for me. I have already completed the program.

The process was good and payments were acceptable. Very polite and knowledgeable staff to work with. Courtesy calls were appreciated. Only bad part was the "follow up" to correct my credit rating. After paying upfront we have still seen no changes made.

I was in a position where I needed assistance and the services of United Debt Counselors sounded appealing. It was the first time I attempted to seek assistance and when I spoke to the person on the phone, that rep was helpful. Also, the enrollment went well. The reps tried to contact me once a month. However, it wasn't until the very end when I felt they had a lot of difficulties trying to wrap up my last account. I couldn't get anyone to respond to me with the reports that I wanted to find out the status of the last accounts that we did. The last three debts that were owed ended up in some kind of a collection portfolio. So, I was left having to do the last three debts on my own.

The worst company. Ugh. Didn’t pay my credit cards. The contract was for 24 months and then they extended for another 10 months. Please! Be careful with this company and asking for the statement and see how much they are paying your debts.

This was a very stressful time. Looking back over the experience I could have ruined my credit and been just as stressed without giving you money to do it. This is a Truly Terrible service. I would never recommend this service and your company to anyone.

I needed somebody to help me and I chose United Debt Counselors' settlement service. I was satisfied with the price they offered and my interactions with their representatives were good. They addressed my questions and concerns and helped me with the amount I had to pay. Then the payments came out of my checking account and I'm in the final phases of the program now.

I called United Debt Counselors in order to help repair my debt. The debt counselor was okay, and I felt they could have helped me more with the last one where they were not able to negotiate. Nevertheless, they kept me informed, and said they kept on trying to negotiate. The people that I talked with were really nice and I understood everything that they were talking about. So, it was pretty good. The customer service was great.

My counselor took care of things, called me once in a while and asked me if there were any questions that I wanted to ask or if I wanted to find out what was going on. The program relieved me from having to pay a bill that I had run up and since I only live on a fixed income, I couldn’t make the payment. He called one day and said that Chase Bank had given them the okay to collect some debts and wondered if I was interested.

United Debt took all the information on my credit cards and then they set up a plan that I paid off. They worked with the correct credit card companies to get them down. The counselors were pleasant. They followed up every month to check and see if everything was going okay. I'm finished with the program and it worked well for me. It gave me an extra $400 a month.

I was looking for bumps in the road but the process at United Debt Counselors was uncomfortably smooth. They said not to worry about going to look for a notary and sent a notary to my house. I had to speak with my counselor and it was a gentleman. He really broke it down and made it simple. And because I want to rush, he goes, "No. Stay with the program. For the enrollment, they gave me forms to fill out to notify the companies that I couldn’t pay the bills and once we got all the payment set up, it was up to the checking account every month.

United Debt Counselors called me and after I talked to them, I decided that I needed to consolidate. The enrolment was fine and we set up a monthly payment. It was that simple. They were then able to consolidate my bills and got me to get rid of my credit cards sooner than I would have normally paid them off. However, when I thought everything was paid off, it ended up costing me five more payments so I can get everything finalized. And in the contract, we were supposed to have been done in 27 months but it went on longer. They told me that the last card wouldn't settle for the percentage they normally settle for.

United Debt Counselors was a lot cheaper and better than what I had before where I was paying double. I got United Debt's $40 package and the service was great. Everything was good as far as the interactions with the debt consultants and they explained the program pretty good. I had to go to Apple for my GPS ad though because United Debt couldn’t help me with that, But my overall experience with United Debt Counselors was awesome.

I enrolled with United Debt Counselors over the phone, and we agreed upon a certain amount per month to pay off the credit cards in a period of time. The debt consultant called to see if I had any questions at least once a month, which was fine. The only thing that I was dissatisfied was the raising of my premium on the end. We agreed upon a certain amount and then long toward the end, I had to come up with a couple hundred dollars a month more for a short period of time. But, that’s all right, it’s over with. The program has been completed.
