Tax Group Center and I signed a mutual agreement document to refund me $24000 back in Jan of 2026. As of this date I have received no refund, my phone calls and emails go unanswered. I have tried to call and email very person that I can look up that works at Tax Group Center. As you can see they have scammed me out of a lot of money and won't pay me back. If you're considering hiring this company, I can't stress this enough, DON'T do it, they are very unprofessional and they did nothing to resolve my tax issues.

If a zero was available, I would choose that are even a negative number. Long Story short, they charge a lot and totally under perform. They totally ignore questions and never give accurate information. They failed to honor our contract and have not accomplished even the simplest of tasks. They did not run a review of my IRS accounts even when they kept saying something is wrong with the numbers. I ended up doing a review myself and shared some of my findings with them and they still did nothing. They just keep saying they should look into it. The latest is that I have an IRS lien on me that is past its statute of limitations that I asked to be removed. They have been working on it, for almost a year now but have never communicated any status updates. Every time I tried to talk to them, they gave me someone else and the conversation would start from the beginning again.

This company is a scam and likely on Drugs. Do not trust them for a second. They took $10k from me with not an ounce of work being done. Supreme grifters. I wish I could do more to report them and get my money back. I ended up having to do all the work myself. The the IRS gave me the logs showing they only called them 3 times to simply get a transcript so they can try and scam me more.

Tax Group Center of Idaho is no different. My clients' experience with this company has been short of a nightmare. They paid over $100,000.00 during the course of 4 years trusting this tax group would resolve their tax liability with the IRS. When I was contracted by my clients to prepare some unfiled tax returns, I requested to intervene when I realized they were being scammed. They never contacted my clients nor updated them on the progress and status of their case. It was until I requested proof of their work that they sent my clients a micky mouse 433A (Taxpayers Financial Information) to sign.

Not a customer - but I get a letter once a week saying I have a lien and to call them. Call and they have no clue what you are talking about. SPAM and SCAM. Called and spoke with Sean and he had no idea. Told me we must have had something filed in the past. This is not a legal firm, it is a joke. I haven’t purchased their services but I would steer clear of these absolute clueless people.

I Paid $17,000 and Got Nothing—Please Don’t Make the Same Mistake. If you're considering Tax Group Center (TGC), I urge you to pause and read this first. Back in 2021, I got a letter from the IRS saying I owed taxes for 2019. It was overwhelming. I searched for help online, and TGC showed up. They called me right away, sounded confident, and promised they could lower what I owed through negotiation with the IRS.

My husband had a heart transplant and we ended up not being able to pay the IRS or State taxes. They scammed us out of $6000 promising to decrease our taxes owed to $10,000 or less. After 4 months of waiting for them to help out I found out they did absolutely nothing. I fired them on the spot. The IRS has free advocates to help you with your tax problems again absolutely free!! CALL 877-777-4778 wish I did this before they scammed me out of money. However, I did call my bank, and they have started a complaint with them based on the fact that they scammed me. If this has happened to you to please call the attorney general in CA and ID that way they can't keep getting away with this misrepresentation!!

This company is a scam. The employees are not professional. Do not waste your time. They steal the client's information and that’s it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am deeply disappointed.

I engaged Tax Group in 2021 to assist with an IRS tax settlement, and my experience over the past three years has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite paying them a total of $69,500, including a $26,000 payment made on April 2, 2024, the promised services were never delivered. Tax Group assured me that the $26,000 payment would lead to a favorable settlement within three weeks. Instead, I faced continued levies on my earnings, adding to my financial strain. Despite numerous attempts to contact them for updates and clarification, I received no meaningful response. This lack of communication and transparency has left me in a state of constant anxiety and distress.

These people are criminals. They blatantly engage in predatory lending, false advertising, and manipulation. Please avoid them. The world would be a better place without these people. I cannot stress the issue enough.

I went to Tax Group Center with a few unfiled tax returns and I owed less than $3000 in unpaid taxes. They told told me their rainbow and puppy tails story about how wonderful life will be when I sign with them and they will have a resolution in no time. 5+ years later my tax debt is $15000 and they have only charged me $20000+ and no resolution in sight. The whole time keeping me in the dark about what my taxes were ballooning to. When I would call for information (numbers, timelines, etc.) they would change the subject asking for more tax information and tell me with just a little more money it will be over in no time. Now they have me strapped in debt with a loan to pay them and a ballooning tax debt so I don't have the means to go out and hire a REAL tax relief company.

Tax Group Center should be put out of business. They lie, scam, cheat to get your money and do absolutely nothing. I lost thousands of dollars to this company and they literally did nothing for me. They actually made my tax debt worse because of interest and penalties. It’s a wonder they can sleep at night praying on people's vulnerability and trust.
