They just helped me resolve a tax bill that would have been impossible to pay. The reduced the cost to about 20% of the original amount. They were friendly and fast. They originally said it could take a few months and had it resolved in a few weeks! Incredible work!

My experience with Tax Defense Network was short lived, but positive. After reviewing my case, the knowledgeable consultant advised that I was in the best position already on my long-term payment plan and that anything Tax Defense Network could do would not be economical for me. I appreciated the honesty and non-pushy sales strategy...something that is hard to come by nowadays.

I have nothing good or bad say as of right now. I just signed up them today. I had a pleasant conversation with Darwin. My taxes are allover the place for like 10 years. I don't even know what's happening anymore. Hopefully Darwin can shed some light on my situation. They charge me $450 two equal payments to look into what I owe and course of action we need to take. I am giving them 5 stars because Darwin was polite and professional. I will keep you posted on my progress as my case develops or write another review.

In my opinion this outfit is borderline criminal. Please avoid. Listen to what's being said about this company. You'll only end up deeper in debt. I've had to file a slew of complaints with the BBB and my status AG office. IN MY OPINION there is something very wrong with this outfit. Buyer beware. You have been warned.

Stay clear of this company. Do your due diligence before signing on with them. The vast majority of their negative reviews have been confirmed through my experienced with them so far. Their contract states you can cancel within 3 days. I tried to cancel the very next day and no one will get back to me or refund my deposit. I’ve contacted them several times, through various channels and no response. Basically, as soon as you make an inquiry online about receiving tax debt assistance, someone will call you within seconds of hitting enter on your keyboard - both creepy and effective. They’ll sell you this pipe dream that they can solve your problem, immediately send over a contract and collect a deposit and then good luck getting them to get back to you.
The cost is extremely expensive: $4000. And there is no guarantee that they can solve your problem any more than you can on your own. As many other reviews state, not only did they have to pay thousands to this company, they still had to pay the original debt owed to the IRS. Basically costing them $4000 to set up a payment plan with the IRS, something you can do for free directly with them.
In my case, I lost my business during the early pandemic. As a result, I lost nearly everything. Since then, my family received a huge health blow (cancer) that left us on one low income and a large debt. All unfortunate and unforeseen events that led me to this point in the first place. This company preyed upon me in my desperate, scared and vulnerable state, promising to solve my problem and getting me to sign up quickly, without having an opportunity to think things through, see reviews (when inquiring I was not able to see exactly who was responding to my inquiry and the call to me was immediate). After hanging up with them, I searched for their company and saw tons of negative reviews.
I immediately texted the man I spoke to who gave me the number to call and text him. No response. The following day, I contacted a lawyer as well as an accountant and sent numerous emails and made numerous calls to cancel my agreement with them (within the timeframe stated in their contract). Suddenly his direct line that he told me I could text was “undeliverable” perhaps indicating that he blocked my number. I left a message on his main line. I emailed both him and the company. I spoke to customer service who said someone would get back to me. No one responded since and they haven’t refunded my deposit. This company is predatory, taking advantage of you at your most vulnerable moments, taking a lot of money from people who have little.
Upon further research, these companies often lead you further into debt with little to no success with the IRS. You’ll be left with thousands to pay the Tax Defense Network and a payment plan to the IRS for the original amount due plus interest and penalties. You are essentially adding $4000+ to your overall debt. A horrible idea for people in financial distress. Save yourself the stress, the money and deeper despair by contacting the IRS tax payer advocate for help (something I didn’t know existed until after). You’re more likely to have real help there.

I reached out to this company out of fear from IRS. This company promised to address the issues with the IRS. After signing the contract I had call regarding next steps. Someone sent me a business card with a form regarding all monthly expenses. Then NOTHING!!! However they continued to draft payments as scheduled. After several months with no contact, I canceled services. I feel scammed.

I hired TDN to help with my IRS tax debt, hoping they could at least reduce the interest payments. Unfortunately, they were unable to do so. I'm particularly disappointed because during our initial phone conversation, they gave me false hope. All they did was file paperwork and set up an installment plan, which I could have done on my own. The service was not worth the money, and I would not recommend TDN to anyone.
It's always a priority of ours to ensure our clients are receiving the benefit of our services. While this may, at times, include a penalty abatement, this particular reduction has requirements that not all clients meet. Tax Defense Network said they would refund my $875 on June 10th. July 11th I was reassured my refund is being processed. Today is July 16. My patience with TDN Manager Marcel ** has too long endured. Associates Gerald **, Karle ** have done NOTHING to help with a simple question. TDN has shown zero evidence of doing ANYTHING as a one day client. TDN is a fraudulent group. My next step is contacting the Florida District Attorney, Better Business Bureau; National Chamber of Commerce; TDN retailers and competitors; CPAs and Financial Consultants in Florida, California;

TDN spam called my phone 2 dozen times over the course of a day as well as sent text messages about a completely unprompted and non-existent "tax issue". I've never had an issue with my taxes, never filled out a survey or some such, or anything that could've led to being cold-called about this. Hitting people up with spam waves like this is the hallmark of a fraudulent company intent on wringing unknowing (and often elderly) people for money. I was not the only one affected, two friends of mine also got their spam calls and texts over the last week.
TDN offers no legitimate service, there is no magic wand they can wave to reduce your taxes like they claim and the new "tax relief" programs they use in their robocalls and texts to advertise straight up do not exist. They are even under investigation by the FCC, just look up Arstechnica's article "FCC to block phone company over robocalls pushing scam “Tax Relief Program”.
Their MO is to figure out what you would be paying to the IRS under a normal tax repayment agreement and instead charging you that amount for themselves without ever fixing anything!! They're just trying to position themselves as wholly unnecessary middlemen and taking advantage of desperate people. I tried to call back a couple times to get any information I could, like how they got my number or what was this supposed new tax program and every time they would hang up immediately once they realized I wasn't a mark, couldn't get a single word out of them.
All it takes is one look at their reviews across the internet and on other sites like Yelp to see the pattern of cold-calling, spam texts, and robocalls. Stay far, far away from this company and if you get their spam calls just report them as such and block their number. You can see in their responses to other similar reviews on this very page are just trying to save face by the mere technicality that they never actually claim to be able to lower your taxes and that customers are instead paying for some nebulous "service".
