I wouldn't voluntarily get a mortgage with this company. They work hard to never have a discussion with their loan servicing customers. Their phone trees are impenetrable. I spent 3 hours trying to speak to a human, unsuccessfully. I would give 0 stars if possible.

In the beginning they were great, but I was hospitalized in Sept and Oct 2025, literally fighting for my life. Obviously, I was in Intensive care where there are no phones but I couldn’t have called Rocket or anyone else, so I missed 2 consecutive payments. This was a first for me. They immediately charged late charges to my account and could have cared less about my health. I will never use them again and we had 2 houses with Rocket. They still owe me over $3000 since Sept!

When we decided to refinance, Rocket unexpectedly called. We discussed at great length what our desires and expectations were. Jay explained the options we had. He took the time to talk with us. Everything has been very quick and smooth. We were kept informed of all steps in the process. No surprises. I would recommend Rocket for their professional courtesy, to anyone, wanting to refinance, or buying a house.

I am getting ready to retire. I went online a couple of months ago and saw my remaining principle. I paid it. Last month I checked again. Showed I still owe money. I called and took care of it over the phone. Was told it was paid off. This month I checked again and still have a principle. It is a 15-year loan. My goal is to retire with no mortgage. It's a 15-year loan. It is like they are losing a lot of interest and do not want to. They are great on financing. But bad on payoff.

Bad experience all around, very expensive loan program, I decided to use them because the appraisal came low with other bank I was working with. I regretted this transaction. Also, you would think because they are technology company would help, but no. So slow to process the loan.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage was challenging. Initially everything was going good. Then Murphy's law downhill. After the second go around straightening out the stumbling blocks. It went smoother. I would recommend Rocket Mortgage.

All personnel we dealt with were very knowledgeable, professional and very helpful with all the questions we had and answered in a very timely manner. We couldn’t have asked for more knowledgeable and helpful professional out reach & nice partner than Joel ** who guided us through the whole process till the end!

I had a horrible experience and do not recommend! Underwriting would say they accepted something and then they would reject it. My closing got pushed back which caused us to lose our rate lock and we had to go from a 15 yr to a 10-year right before closing. No one could give me real answers as to why all of a sudden it was changing. It took 8 weeks to close my loan, which was way too long. The rate is high and so are their fees!

The team that worked on every area of my refi were awesome. I felt like I was alongside them every step of the way. They were all very informative and persistent. I couldn’t have had a better team. I would recommend them to anybody.

We love dealing with Nick ** at Rocket. He is the best. We have been with Rocket in the past and we are so excited to be back with them again. We tell others all the time about our experience. Our Son and Daughter in law will be contacting Rocket some time this year.

No wonder why Mr. Cooper sucks now. Rocket Mortgage took them over I recon because simple requests are not taken care of. Bottom line after writing several complaints about the shadiness of this company they plainly stink the worst in my opinion. They will promise this and that, but they WILL stick it to you believe me. Look, just stay away from the liars. Keep in mind they don't care about you period.

I am writing to file a complaint regarding our experience with Rocket Mortgage/Mr. Cooper. On December 2. 2025 our mortgage was transferred from Wells Fargo to Rocket Mortgage. Prior to the transfer Wells Fargo made the necessary adjustments due to my husband being 100% disabled veteran on September 1. 2025 and we are exempt from property taxes for the upcoming 2026 and beyond. All the information was transferred to Rocket Mortgage/Mr. Cooper on December 2, 2025, from Wells Fargo, with our new monthly payment and escrow amount. Yet, Rocket Mortgage did another adjustment and has caused our mortgage amount and escrow to increase.

Our advisor started off my saying that working with Rocket Mortgage would be the easiest lending process we had ever experienced. He was not exaggerating. The entire process was simple, streamlined, and stress free. He answered every question, was always available, and kept us informed throughout. From application to close in under 30 days and nothing but positives to report!

Today I had the unfortunate experience of logging into Rocket Mortgage and requesting an emailed copy of a recent letter I received from the lender who asked me for proof of flood insurance on our Florida property. This was done through the Rocket Mortgage online chat. The request seems simple enough to any odd ball, but to Rocket Mortgage Powered by international call centers, it is very-very-very complicated. I had to request this document from two different chat representatives. Both of them emailed me unrelated documents that were 1-3 years old. The reps clearly don't understand English or their job responsibilities. I escalated the call to a supervisor who informed me that the document was not digital on their end yet, after waiting 15 minutes. Please avoid this mortgage company at all costs if you enjoy a good customer service experience. If you like pulling your hair out and wasting your time, go for it.

Everything was handled perfectly. Austin was great. All the people I dealt with were professional and knowledgeable and would recommend Rocket Mortgage in the future. The timing was as predicted and the system you use was good 👍

Initially everything was great until closing was complete. Have not received funds or notices of payoffs that are crucial to our situation right now. This is the most unexpected and stressful situation I have ever been through and need this taken care of, as making sure there are no negative marks on my credit are crucial and taking care of my family. Praying for the light at the end of this tunnel.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage was NOT a good one. I will NEVER use Rocket Mortgage again, if I ever buy another home. I tried to talk to my agent and sent a voice message to call me. That was a week ago, and I still haven't received a call. After closing, nobody will talk to me. However, I still receive these emails requesting that I fill out a survey. Also, I will never recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone who is looking for a mortgage company.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT trust or do business with this company. ALEXANDER **. He is nothing but a LIAR and a SCAM artist. Very unprofessional and uses used car sales tactics to lure in customers, lie to them then try the old bait and switch tactics. I received a random text out of the blue one day, saying I see you are with the VA, I can lower your rate, no out of pocket cost, no appraisal, no credit check, etc. I should of known better. He offered me a 4.99 interest rate and told me he needed some information and SOFT credit check which will not show up on my credit.

Smooth and seamless loan process. Brian ** did an excellent job answering our questions and making everything go smoothly. Thank You for supporting us during this process as we start our new home endeavor.

Very poor communication, extremely unhappy with the service provided by our mortgage banker. Very difficult to get in touch with him and the process took 3 weeks over the original closing date. The service was so bad the seller was threatening us to cancel the deal because of how late we were able to provide them with the funds and also saying that we were lying to them. On top of all that it also feels like my non-native English speaking parents were taken advantage of with the loan amount that was supposed to be approved for. I would never recommend our mortgage banker to my worst enemy. The process was very infuriating, and extremely displeased with the service and communication.

The loan was fine ...It's after a little while they constantly call and text and mortgage insurance and we don't want it and never did want it. It's been 2 years and the calls and texts keep coming..I'm so mad I'm looking into what can be done about it. We've told many people about this. Take us off your list but no luck so far. If I was looking for a mortgage company I'd sparsely go with someone else.

Rocket Mortgage was so easy to work with, it was quick and they kept you informed every step of the way, Jody was a pleasure to work with. Anything we needed he was on top of it. The website was easy to navigate, and it is easy to make repayment. This was the easiest refinance we have done in years.

I am beginning to question the business practices of Rocket. With proceed checks due to be sent next day air for me to pay off credit cards, I called to find out where they were. They were supposed to be sent next day air yesterday (Friday) and somehow they won't be here until Tuesday due to weekend and holiday. That equates to many more days of interest that Rocket is collecting before I manage to get them in hand from which I need to send them out. Rocket customer service said - "sorry" they're sitting in a UPS facility half way across the country. They were picked up at 5 am but not sent out. NEXT DAY AIR from Friday is Saturday, not Tuesday. Seems like a way for Rocket to make extra money. Interest should not start until I received those checks.

I recently closed on my loan with Rocket Mortgage, and overall, the process was smooth and efficient. The team was responsive, and documentation was handled seamlessly online. However, I was disappointed that payments to debt collectors required paper checks mailed by the customer, with no electronic option available. This added unnecessary hassle and delay in an otherwise modern experience. I’d recommend improving this for better convenience. Still, a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

A very positive experience from talking with our contact person, and dealing with the best loan options for us with what was needed. She was friendly and thoroughly explained our options and gave us the opportunity to decide what was best for us. The process was completed without any problems. The closing officer was another excellent experience. We completed the on-line documentation, and received notification of the funding process right away.

Our consultant Chris ** was thorough, polite and professional. The loan process was simple and the closing was quick and easy. I appreciate Rocket Mortgage. From start to finish I felt appreciated and Chris and the Rocket team never let me down. It was honestly the smoothest and easiest loan experience I have ever had.

We received excellent service from Rocket from the moment I inquired about the loan till the closing. The information given was accurate and timely. The first person I spoke to, Arturo ** was knowledgeable, honest and transparent about every step of the process.

I would give zero stars. These are Predatory loan sharks at best and I implore you to protect yourself during transaction by having your own lawyer review all paperwork they send. They partnered with Homeward mortgage and they two-timed me. Very predatory. Please beware.

The gentleman who started the process was very knowledgeable and helpful. Some of the item requested to complete the process seemed excessive. Also, my experience with chatting online was not at all helpful.

I generally loved everything about my experience with Rocket. The process was super easy, Nathan was great to work with, closing with smooth and one time. My biggest issue is the short payment that was made to close out the original loan on the house, leaving me to pay an unexpected $2,925 to the original lender to close out my loan. I called Rocket and was told they were not sure why that happened and would look into it, but regardless, it was up to me to pay the short payment, not Rocket.

We have been working on a mortgage refi with Rocket for over a year- We had a few hiccups along the way, we needed credit score assistance on our end- but Stephanie ** was so patient and thorough and professional and consistent and SHE made it happen! I would recommend her for any financial need you are looking to do or close. FANTASTIC company! They also have a FABULOUS credit repair team who helped us along the way too! 5 stars!!

Dane & Nicholas were GREAT to work with. Dane answered all our questions & concerns with patience & knowledge. Nicholas managed to get our new home closed on the day we requested. He was extremely helpful in getting our home closed in a very timely manner.

We were in a tornado May 16th 2025. My house was damaged and I received 88,000 payout from my insurance company. I have reached out several times to Rocket Mortgage and they will not release my fund so I can complete repairs on my home. I'm very disappointed with the way they have handled my case.

The staff where all very professional and extra attentive to all my questions. They offered me a great rate in which I appreciated very much. They made my application process very simple to maneuver around their platform. I will definitely be taking all my future business needs to Rocket Mortgage.

I had an amazing experience working with Max, Kristin and Nicolas. As a first-time homebuyer, I had many questions. They were knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, walked me through the process with care, had great communication and follow up to make sure I understood everything and even celebrated the success of my closing along with me. Started the process at the end of October with the loan officer telling me we should be finished no later than the end of November. Due to circumstances outside of my control, the property tax bill was not available after a three week delay. We finally went down to the tax office to get the paper ourselves. We had the closing scheduled four different times before it actually happened.

The fact that everything was done online made the process very difficult. We are in our 80s and not as up to date as others. It would have been nice to be able to bring documents to an office. I mailed a large statement that was requested and evidently it was never received or somehow misplaced on someone’s desk. Very frustrating and caused a huge delay. As a result we had to start all over from the beginning.

Starting off, the experience was good. Nothing pushy sales wise, everything sounded really good. Lowered my payment a bit, was told I would have no money down at closing due to the type of refinance I was doing and no payment until March, (giving a payment break for January and February). Also there was no additional jumping through hoops with extra paperwork like listing finances etc. Then during the week of closing, things changed, was told I had to have money for closing, and then only January’s payment would be skipped. Called the “banker” I originally spoke to, he said his boss was getting that part fixed, not to worry. I put off closing for a day to ensure things would get “fixed”, but at closing, everything was still the same.

I imagined buying my first house would be difficult, expensive, and terrifying, it was none of those things (maybe expensive). From my wonderful agent Jo ** who was always available to answer questions and provide facts, figures and solutions. To the ease of use of the App which I could use without having to ask my teenager for assistance. The process was seamless. There were a few times I was not called by other areas but when I reached out to Jo he was able to get me the information I needed or the call I was missing.

I was impressed by the whole Rocket team. Courtney made the process seamless and surprisingly fast! We thought it would take a month but were closed within two weeks. Courtney was super helpful in letting me know what I'd need, working with me to get it submitted either via the portal or directly to her and to expedite everyone along the way. The appraiser and notary were available just as quickly. Thank you for making it a real breeze.

After months of giving Rocket all of the ridiculous documents they asked for, they couldn’t approve the loan because my HOA wouldn’t give Rocket confidential reports that they don’t provide to any lender by policy (the HOA responds to hundreds of mortgages, but only Rocket “required” these extra reports). Nothing I can do about it, just wasted months of time and money on deposit and inspection. Hayden is did not advocate for us at all during this nightmare. Useless, terrible experience. Now slogging through trying to get deposit back from these people.

Excellent service from the loan and closing teams. I liked the idea that I could talk to anyone and get answers regarding the closing process. Communication was excellent. Even though the closing was slightly delayed during the holidays, it was still timely and appreciated the team effort.

My refinance process went very well, from start to finish. Closing went smoothly as well. My finance team went well from financing team to closing team. Yvonne was very courteous and well prepared for signing closing documents. Time slots were convenient for me also.

At no point did ANYTHING I have been told from ANYONE at Rocket Mortgage happen. From when I would close to when I received my checks. An awful experience. If I had an option not to start the whole process over I would have never closed with him. Awful.

Worse experience ever, I will be getting attorneys involved on failure on disclosing information. They switch the loan agreement at closing without notice. Loan presented at closing did not match what I signed and agreed to showing in my account at closing. Closing lawyer did not disclose important information pertaining to the loan resulting in delays and a lower payout then what was agreed upon. The loan facilitator had to walk the loan through the entire process as the closing team or account specialist and documentation team failed to provide any information or updates on loan.

Very Poor, Rocket, Honda Financial Services and I all got on the phone to verify the amount that I owed was $17,144.00 and Rocket still sent check for 22,154.00 to me to send to Honda which cost me $35.40. Check should have been sent directly to Honda for the correct amount $17,144.00 and not to me to forward to them. And the over payment should have gone in my Back account. I overnight payment to them today and it will be 30 days before they sent me overpayment of $5,000.00. If I had known this was the way Rocket Mortgage works, I would have applied with another Mortgage company, which I might do when rate goes down a little more.

All went very smoothly, with fast responses, starting with my initial contact with loan specialist Mark **, to final closing signing. Also, I received my loan amount to my bank account very promptly. I highly recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone needing a mortgage or home equity loan.

I recently refinanced my mortgage and the principal outstanding was given. My new lender sent the payoff but RM still took mortgage payment. They then told me I was charged interest because they charge a month behind. Didn't make sense to me since my first payment from beginning was charged interest. They are a scheming corporation to take money that isn't rightfully theirs. I will never recommend or use Rocket Mortgage again.

Louis was great along with Mike and the closer. I believe her name started with the letter J. They were professional and extremely helpful! I would strongly recommend using the services of Rocket Mortgage to family, friends or whomever. I appreciate the outstanding service!

Rocket Mortgage is the sister company of Rocket Money, in which I use longingly. The process of utilizing equity without refinancing is a great progressive tool for homeowners to use the equity build within your home. Rocket Mortgage staff is great to work with and the process was quicker than expected. I highly recommend this Company.

Doing our refinance with Rocket Mortgage was outstanding. We were helped along each step of the way and the employee assigned to us (Ameer) was exceptional. I would give them a negative star if I could. Three different people said loan was good. Then on the day of the inspection they took 500 and then called me and stated they found something from 8 years ago. That is fine except then they decided to only give me 200 of it back for a bunch of bad excuses. So please be careful if you are looking for a loan and don’t have extra money they will take it and keep it. Their excuse was I had a bankruptcy 8 years ago and it took some time for a bank to close the foreclosure but was attached to the bankruptcy. They read me some Fannie Mae rules which I contacted them and they stated that is not true.. So honestly they just took my money and didn’t help me or refund my money.. I went to another lender.. They needed no money upfront and rates where better.. So please look at other lenders..

I had a wonderful experience with Rocket Mortgage. Everything was quick, easy and effortless throughout the entire process. I highly recommend you let them take care of you! You will not regret it. I am very thankful for everything. I am very happy with the outcome.

Rocket Mortgage brought my mortgage from Wells Fargo. Trying to get access to my account online took 3 phone calls, I got hung up on by their auto phone system twice, the 3rd time I had to speak with 3 different people to get a simple issue of an old phone number updated so I could verify my account. Every company makes mistakes, it's how you handle them. Rocket Mortgage likes to blame the customer while taking no responsibility. What a nightmare dealing with these unprofessional people. When you are greeted by a recording that says we are experiencing a large call volume, that means we don't have enough representatives and when you do speak with someone it will most likely be someone in India with a thick accent that is hard to understand.

Through the entire loan process, Brian was professional, responsive, courteous and informative. He really did help make the process smooth and comfortable. Rocket Mortgage’s online portal is incredibly easy to use and I would definitely use them (and Brian) again and recommend them to all in need of mortgage assistance.

This company has helped me get back on track with finances, every time I have enough income to put towards my various bills. It reminds me of due dates, and identified subscriptions I had forgotten about. So far there have been no bad parts except, perhaps, how often I have to reconnect and sync my accounts. That is not enough of a reason to subtract points since it is only an inconvenience and a mild one.

The communication was fine and the inside information with the knowledgeable representative for Rocket helped out a lot to get a good understanding of what was going on and the process of getting the loan past and finding out what we need exactly and get it accomplished. Thanks, Rocket.

I was a home purchaser whose mortgage was ‘sold’ to Rocket Mortgage within first few months of home purchase. Initially, it seemed positive; however after an extremely frustrating conversation to refinance for a lower monthly payment I was left extremely frustrated with no resolution. I then Changed my homeowners insurance several months ago and my agent had reached out to Rocket multiple times. Assured it had been updated, yet it still hasn’t happened and while funding reflects online, my insurance has never been paid or updated in Rocket’s online site. Suffice to say I will not be using Rocket on any future purchases.

It was a very positive experience! Everyone was Caring, knowledgeable, and Professional. Everything was done in a timely manner. Everyone was very patient and encouraging. I chose Rocket Mortgage because of their "easy" application process, but once they had my $250 deposit, the experience devolved into a disorganized mess that nearly cost me my rate lock. The Issue: Total Failure to Handle a Job Transition During the initial application on November 6th, I was 100% transparent about switching employers on December 2nd. My representative assured me it wouldn't be an issue. However, despite providing every document immediately through the app, Rocket Mortgage’s verification team was completely unprepared for my transition. Between December 2nd and December 17th, I was stuck in a loop of misinformation.

My experience was great. Mike ** assisted me with any questions I had or help I needed immediately. Thank You. The process for refinance moved fast and the closing specialist was on time with respect and care to my home. It was a great experience with all questions answered.

Everything went very well and it was a very speedy transaction. I would definitely recommend Rocket to my friends or family if they are wanting to buy a house in the near future... Also it was very nice to do all the paperwork and or documents from our home.

From the beginning, we dealt with a young lady named Kelly **. She is very professional and very helpful and friendly and at times made us laugh when there was stress. The only doubt fall in this was so much task we had to perform. I told her it was easier buying a car than getting a $45,000 loan. Towards the end was it was starting to get lengthy in timewise. She assured me that it would be over soon, and then we had another request for something that we turned in. Was finally relieved when we got to notice that our loan was approved.

Rocket Mortgage provided to most simplistic, stress-free process we have experienced, by far in securing a mortgage loan. The process online and over the phone is "rocket" fast and easy. They were very courteous, helpful and supportive but kept it simple and focused, providing excellent suggestions- you feel truly helped when working with them.

Well, the process was longer than expected but overall the experience was great. Everyone from the beginning to the end was very professional, pleasant to work with and attentive to all my questions and needs. The process to refinance with Rocket Mortgage was very easy. Most done online. Easy to work with the portal and got quick notifications when needed. I am very pleased with how nice and easy it was to do this. My only complaint was that my interest rate went up a little after the original offer was given. It wasn't enough to cancel but a little annoying. All in all we had a great experience.

Every time I called Brendan during this process... if I got his voicemail he would return my call the same day and answer all of my questions. If he didn't know the answer he would direct me to the right entity that could answer all of my concerns.

We have used Rocket to buy other homes over the past 10 years and had great experiences. However, this was the worst experience we had and will never use Rocket Mortgage again. Issues with rate, closing took forever, issues with closing cost amount and getting checks to payoff debt pay other financial institutions.

I was happy with most of the experience, but the closing team did not call me to set the closing date. I had to call them which was hard because they never answered the phone. When I did get an answer they set up the closing very quickly. And worst of all the initial loan agent was kind of in a hurry to get home so when I said I also want my wife on the mortgage, he said I was giving him heartburn because I was the only one needed to close the loan. I conceded stupidly. If I were to die first they could force our house sale quickly because I'm the only one on loan.

Waited till all aspects were concluded before my review. From start to finish the refi was quick and complete. End of process had confusion with passwords from original set up and password for the refi account. Avenues were presented for me to complete the final set up my account.

Everything was super easy to understand. Trevor was outstanding to work with, he kept me informed about the process and all the information that was needed. The closing was a pain due to the fact that we had problems with the online application and had to have a notary come to the house.

I am a real estate broker in Minnesota. 35 years in the business and many agents in our company have had poor experience with Rocket Mortgage. Rocket failed to send out the final disclosure. Due to Veterans day, on Tuesday. Closing was suppose to happen that Friday. Closing could not happen because their buyer client needed the disclosure for three days. The transaction closed the following Monday. Extra cost to the seller was $2600 trucking expense and $555 hotel expense. Rocket said sorry, it was a "learning experience". Here is what I learned: "NEVER USE THIS COMPANY." They have no empathy for what they caused!

We were overwhelmed by all the solicitations and mail offers sent to us; texts, emails, solicitations on social media, we were bombarded with past and present lenders calling us to work with them. It was important to make the correct choice. Our bank, JP MorganChase, recommended Rocket Mortgage to us. They are phenomenal, they are fast, precise, and professional. We can't praise them enough, they amazed us, our loan officer was so patient. Rocket Mortgage's method of gathering our financial obligations was very quick and interesting. All of the employees that I worked with were great and nice people. The process for me was rough though because I had to get flood insurance and it was hard to obtain because of the government being shut down so that stalled the loan process and third party co insurance for flood was 2 1/2 times the cost so unaffordable. Rates dropped while I was locked in higher and due to a paperwork error I had to close on the loan twice. Afterwards my original loan payoff was $2100 short due to taxes being paid so I had to pay to complete payoff and now wait to see if rocket mortgage will get me my $2100 back. 🤦‍♂️

Process for refinance with Rocket Mortgage needs improvement. Loan officer Angel ** was subpar. He said he was busy with other customers & didn’t answer questions regarding a possible future refinance to lower interest if interest dropped. His response was “For the future it is hard to say. Even giving a estimate may be way wrong. But having to only refinance the current loan will put you in a better position in the future.” Really!!! You think refinancing at a lower interest rate will put me in a better position?? Lol. Process to pay off other debts needs to be vastly improved, checks were drafted by new lender & I was forced to mail them out. What century do we live in now? So much for repeat customers, it’s obvious not much interest involved in this business model.

Recently received a phone call from one of their reps (Sam **) who rudely hung up after I mentioned that we had spoke to another rep who I name and he abruptly hung up. That's extremely unprofessional. I also let him know how I felt about his 8.9% rate which is typically for someone with low income, low fico, limited equity, etc. Apparently he expected that I not question anything or state my business. You'd think they know everything about you and/or read your mind, sarcastically speaking. These people are vultures and they expect you to praise anything and everything they have to sell you. It's not a great market for them and that's why they ALL have the time to ring your phone, all hours of the day & night! Perhaps instead of trying to take the customer for all they can, they should learn to listen to the customer and not blow them off or take them to the cleaners! Where's the honesty these days? This isn't my first rodeo!

Remember when the loan process was a long, drawn-out DRAG?! This was definitely not that. Sam, our loan originator, was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the process. Gathering documents and information was so slick via the Rocket portal. Upload stuff and then off to the processor. Simple. Easy. FAST! And our escrow officer made a house call. I close the loan at my freaking kitchen table. A process that was previously a massive headache was a breeze. I will recommend Rocket Mortgage to everyone I know! Thank you for streamlining the mortgage process.

It started out well, then unfortunately, I could not get a hold of my Loan Officer (over a week??) I kept having to send him the same paperwork constantly. Throughout the loan during the end of the loan, my amount of money to bring to the table changed at least 5 times, even when Rob called right before the closing and told me this is what I was to bring, that the package was going to closing office. Well, that morning, driving to the closing, the amount changed again.

I was very impressed at how easy they made the loan process for me and my wife. I would strongly recommend them for future use. The simplicity and ease of their system streamlined the process and we had our funds within a month!! We look forward to the next time we need Rocket Mortgages.

Overall reexperience with Rocket Mortgage during the refinance process was positive but when it came to the final closing, the Property Tax and HomeOwners Insurance escrows were not accurately stated in the final closing package. The property taxes were indicated as not being paid when they had already been paid. If I had not pointed out, property taxes would have been paid twice. Homeowners insurance amount did not reflect the current policy premium, therefore, insurance company was paid the old premium amount and separate check for the difference had to be sent separately. I was refunded a portion of the pre-paid property taxes via wire transfer (which I had to pay a fee) and the remainder via check.

The refinance experience was very quick and easy. Except for a misunderstanding on my part about the transition between the old and new mortgage there are no complaints. Everything done by Rocket was professional. They have made procedures that once were extremely tedious and time consuming seamless and easy. Thanks again for your help.

I am very happy with the service that I was provided with by Rocket Mortgage. Christine ** and the Underwriting department were very helpful. The ease of getting the paperwork to Rocket Mortgage was very easy once I knew how to upload the documents that you needed. Overall, the process was easy.

It took nearly 2 months for this to get done. The paperwork kept changing. The dollar amounts at times were wrong. Every time we thought we were done and ready to close they'd come up with some new document requirement. At times it would be hard to reach anyone on the issues. I had not planned to refinance but they called me with a zero cost. If it weren't for that I would never have completed the process with them.

Great experience with Randy the mortgage specialist. Everything else went smoothly except the closing. Closing was delayed because the server was down. We spent hours on closing day trying to log in. When we called for assistance no one ever answered. When we went to closing two days later the pre-signature process was very confusing because no one ever changed the closing date on that section. Our closing went smoothly after that. Have not completed closing the old loan yet but has been great so far.

Taking out a home equity loan through Rocket Mortgage took two months to the date to close. We were told it would only be 2 to 3 weeks. Could not get a hold of people to talk to them. If you sent them a text message it took 2 to 3 days for them to answer it And they kept changing loan officers. They never kept us up-to-date on what was going on

To be honest, I had a very poor experience with this refinancing. I cast no aspersions against Darr ** or Cassandra **. They both seem like capable professionals doing their jobs. But your backend processing and underwriting are awful. They consistently threw monkey wrenches in my refinancing process, often for silly bureaucratic reasons which were never fully explained. Significantly, this same backend team mismanaged paying my property taxes (being held in escrow) causing me to have my insurance temporarily cancelled. I had to pay over 1100 dollars in late October to restore the insurance which I still have not been reimbursed.

We’d like to write this survey on Julian **, he ROCKS!!! From day one till the end, he helped and served like no other. Julian made us feel like we were his family, treated us with so much care and worked with us to perfection. He and Travis ** are Rocket Mortgage Stars!!!

I was excited to refinance my mortgage, reducing my interest rate and monthly payment. I completed all of my tasks quickly. I emailed Lisa ** to verify the payoff amount of my previous mortgage, informing her of when I would make my final payment to my previous mortgage holder. And still, the closing got messed up. Rocket overpaid my previous lender because no one double checked the payoff amount. This means that I am mortgaging a slightly larger sum, which does not make sense to me. The worst part is, though, I thought my timely communication could avoid this. Unfortunately, someone didn't do their job. That's frustrating to me.

Tia was patient with all my questions and even eased my anxiety. I was very nervous when I initially called, but the process was smooth and easy just as Tia said it would be. I couldn't have done this without her. Thanks again!

My experience working with Rocket has been fantastic! They were quick and diligent with my application and getting me pre-approved for the amount I was looking to spend! Each person I worked with throughout the process did everything they could to make sure I was able to close on time and get moved into my new home. The process as a whole was made super easy by them and I love the app, it’s set up to make life a lot easier. Submitting documents was easy as well as finding out exactly what was needed from me at every stage of the process. Even after closing it was super easy to set up automatic mortgage payments. They keep you in the loop through emails throughout the process as well as on the app, I had very few questions as they were good with detail on exactly what they needed from me in emails as well as on the app. I would definitely use rocket again in the future!

What an amazing experience. I just closed on my home. I had less than a month and with Thanksgiving in the middle of this, they got it done in 3 weeks. I refinanced with another company some years ago. It was the longest most drawn out process ever. I hit every rock in the road and finally closed after about 3 months. They wanted everything including the original copy of the Declaration of Independence. Years passed and I needed to refinance again. I DREADED it. I chose Rocket Mortgage. David ** and Kelli ** were very helpful in my refi process. I don't think I could have handle this myself. They assisted me with every form or esign that had to be completed. I liked it when they kept me informed about my refi and the stage as to where we are. They are both an asset to Rocket Mortgage. Although there was a slight mishap about the closing. I was instructed to bring a check which I did but the same amount of the check was withdrawn from my account. I had to try to recover the amount from my account. Other than the complete process was great.

The only negative part of my experience was the time it took to get closed. Dealing with a reverse mortgage was not easy but Andres got it done for me and I'm very thankful. He was prompt in his responses and detailed in his information. I would definitely use Rocket again if needed.

From the beginning of starting an application to refinance my home for home equity till the Closing date was a great experience. I spoke with a young man by the name of Shiva ** who reached out to me, initially through chat and we began speaking by phone/email/text. He guided me so thoroughly through the process step by step, with guidance and comfortability, his personality gave me the courage to pursue. He always answer my email/text promptly, and returned my calls with answers. I must say at every avenue a rep followed up to continue the process on a timely basis.

While everyone we talked to at Rocket was friendly and tried to be helpful, the entire process took weeks longer than we expected. There was terrible confusion just before closing. We were trying to close remotely, and got kicked out of the system halfway through, leaving us no option but for a notary to come help us close manually. We had one appointment canceled without our knowledge, then a second notary called. All three parties (us, and each of the notaries) were very confused. We were very happy with the notary that eventually helped us.

Experience was good except for the fact that one of the payout amounts to Republic Financial was still listed at over $11,000.00 when it should have been $6,500. Another account CC Flow-24/7 was not listed and the payout amount was $4,500.00. Rocket Mortgage was provided with both documents. Totals for the majority of the payouts were not up to date. A little disappointed.

Responsiveness was okay, asked 5x about a specific question and was told differing information from each representative we spoke with. Was told for 3 weeks we were good to close on scheduled date and no additional info was needed. Days before we were set to close, was told they needed additional information that was previously provided. Called and verified said info was received and RM confirmed yes. Agent told our realtor that we were the ones holding things up when it showed no tasks on our end. Very frustrating to be scrambling at the last hours to tell the agents when we submitted the required documentation WEEKS PRIOR. Would NOT recommend using.

Overall the experience was enjoyable, until today. Your loan gave us cash and was going to payoff a personal loan with SoFi. We were informed that Rocket was going to send SoFi a check following closing. But today we received the SoFi check with specific instructions on how to mail it to SoFi. We were not informed that it was our responsibility to get the check to SoFi. Not a good business practice!

The process was easy. Our first, communication was very acceptable until the final step to the loan to be accepted, we have doubts about getting it done, but in the end they find a way to help our financing go thru. Not owing money is better than paying on time when it comes to getting a loan.

The actual loan was not what I was originally told, which was fine. Then we're told that a certain amount goes towards the mortgage, which was new and I never got a straight answer as to why. I also felt the communication was lacking, I wasn't given a direct line or one contact person.

The process was efficient and smooth. We could not be happier. Ray ** and Jeremy ** are like friends. It was smooth sailing! We are settled in and loving the house and all the furniture that came with it. We actually are spending less a month than we were renting.

After losing my Job of 15 years, I reached out to Rocket Mortgage, and they offered me a forbearance and stated that in the end, there would be options. I reached out to them before the 3-month forbearance period was up, let them know I have found employment, and would like to resume my payments the following month. I requested to add the three payments to the back end of the mortgage. I then waited to hear back. Crickets! I called again and was told there was a law change and it was 4 months that I could apply. I applied. All Options were denied to me and they sent the creditors that I was late 4 months. A forbearance is NOT Late. They did not report the lates until I called to resume Mortgage payments. It does not say a forbearance it shows LATE. Now, my option is Pay the 4 months or they will not accept any payments from me and I'm looking at foreclosure.

They are crap. Lost my job last November and couldn't get one till halfway through June this year due to how shitty the job market is especially in Illinois even if you have a 4-year degree... but anyways got some help from them and wanted to restructure the loan and redo it so I can keep my home especially because how hard I worked to get this home for my kids. Instead want to pile everything up that's owed plus interest after I caught everything else up, had to buy a 7k furnace for the house, couple new sinks, fixed garage walls and roof, replaces all old appliances, and duct work even though were told different it was going to be redone so I can. So, they try to take my house and not work with me. I'll personally rip all that out and then they can figure it out....

This company is incredible. I worked with Andy **, who was amazing. I had already applied at a couple other companies with no luck, but Andy made it happen. He was very personable and professional, and very nice to work with. The whole process only took a couple of weeks, which was also amazing, especially because it was right before the holidays. We were really excited to get our first home with rocket mortgage. Until the processor got the wrong appraisal and pushed our closing date not once but twice. And ended up being almost 2 weeks later. Another problem we had was that my husband is 100% Disabled with the Va and they didn’t listen so they took our taxes and didn’t give us the proper form to fill out to not have taxes put on our mortgage.

Rocket is so easy to work with! Very clear on what they need from you and what they are doing. I have already recommended Rocket to several friends and family. I just took a second to complete a rather large project on my home and with everything to think about regarding the project it was really nice to not have to worry about the financing!

All was good until loan was heldup due to rental/lease agreement didn’t meet requirements. After 2 failed submissions a Rocket Mortgage form was sent to rental office. It would of been best to send form to begin with, that way all information needed would of been submitted. It would of sped up process.

Everyone was professional and kept in contact with me throughout the process. Even with the government shutdown, we were still able to close on time and with no problem. They kept me updated throughout the process with all the documents I needed to give them and also kept in contact with my realtor and kept thing flowing. Fees were a little more than other companies but all in all it was a great experience for a first-time home owner.

It was very fast and efficient. Not sure why we are waiting a whole week to close after signing papers? We are excited about moving to a fifteen-year loan and a rate decrease. We will be able to knock our loan out much faster than was expected. Thanks!

Very easy process. Our representative, John, was very polite, professional and informative. The online site is transparent with what step is next, keeping us updated with what they needed. This was the least stressful and quickest loan process we have ever experienced. After closing our refinancing, the original loan was paid off within a week.

Amanda ** was my loan officer. She was great, returning my calls, informing me what was going on with loan and sending me everything in a timely manner. I've dealt with a few mortgage companies and I worked for 30 years in mortgage banking. Amanda was very professional. The loan closing was one of the easiest I've ever had. Initially, my experience was a 5, as time went along in the process with my contact person Dan ** was good, then the communication became an issue of timely responses and not able to explain my question he always had to get back with me and check with others to get answer and follow up which caused delays on our movement. I felt I was put in a situation to get certain information from my previous lender that I did not know how to navigate, it should have been Rocket Mortgage to follow up. I understand signing forms of authorization form and gathering requested documents. I also did not appreciate receiving multiple documents of the numbers changing and not being informed. If I did not call to ask questions of why no one would have called me, speaking with Matt **, who was very nice & helpful in explaining his part in what he handled.

Horrible!! Rocket Mortgage used to be a great company, they are poor at best! I tried to borrow some cash out of my equity. After 3 failed attempts to close, RM couldn’t get the paperwork to the Notary the company still can’t get it right. First Notary shows up, doesn’t have the electronics paperwork as needed and can’t get phone support from RM, second Notary doesn’t even come to the appointment as RM never sent the packet. They tried a third attempt. No luck!

Process was relatively easy. Uploading required reports was a snap on the website. Communication to the originating officer was always sufficient and timely. Process took longer than what I thought it should take, but it did complete in a reasonable time frame. I would use Rocket again in the future.

It has been quite a while since I had applied for a home mortgage, so I knew that things would be quite different. I did my research and found that Rocket is one of the top rated online mortgage lenders and are well known for their customer service. I was very pleased to find that it was all very much true! The online experience is user friendly, but along with that comes an "in-person" experience. My mortgage specialist was only a text, email, or phone call away. And trust me, I had a lot of questions that needed answering. Someone was always available to walk me through my concerns and to answer questions. The process was very smooth thanks to Rocket Mortgage and their staff.

It took longer than expected and the interest rate did end up higher because of that issue. Every time I needed to sign something or look over something, I took care of it immediately, so not sure what the holdup was. I notified David ** several days before the lower interest rate was going to expire and he got things moving again, but like I said, with a higher interest rate. Apparently, the underwriters were taking longer than expected. Thank you.

Everything until the First Closing was done went great. But.....the Nightmare begins..... then the Mail was lost and the closing had to be redone, so we redone all the paperwork. After I had spent time to get all the checks that came finally to pay off vendors with this loan from the second closing, I was informed from the Closing team that the checks I had already put in the mail are not any good?? The checks will have to be resent to my creditors and I am still waiting on the fallout from those and the fees for bad checks and late fees on few of them!

I called Rocket Mortgage for general information. Initially, the conversation was beneficial as it clarified a few things for me but I made it clear I did not want to proceed with anything at that time and in fact gave the person I spoke to a good review. In the end, it turned into a strong arm/pressure to proceed encounter that left me uncomfortable but was assured all info was private and no further action would be taken. Then I got documents in the mail as if I had agreed to proceed with something when I had not. Today I got more correspondence. Regret contacting this company and advise you think twice before doing so.

Hands down straight to the point rapid response time from every department. They are truly Rocket Mortgage…. Fast, friendly, hospital. Make you feel like you are working with family and not a stranger. 10/10 definitely would recommend for a 1st time home buyer for sure..

Blaine ** was my agent at Rocket and he was courteous and helpful. Everything in the process was smooth UNTIL closing. I was asked to pick a time for the attorney to show up to sign the closing papers and I picked 1:30 pm on Friday. At 11:00am Rocket called and said the attorney couldn't be there until 3:00. I had asked a guy to be here as my witness. So, now he is left sitting around my house from 1:00 to 3:00. At 2:30 Rocket called and said the attorney can't be here till 5:00! Now my witness and I have been waiting all afternoon.

Everything, except the Appraiser was positive. The Appraiser made a huge error on her forms, indicating that the front porch of my manufactured home when in fact it was the front part of the third section of a triple wide home. Her error cost me $500.00 to hire a Structural Engineering company to review the documented plans and certify that the porch was on the house foundation as a part of the original triple wide home. I reached out to the appraiser and she would not correct her error, leaving me to pay this extra expense. NOT GOOD!

If anybody is impacted by the government shutdown, they have no sympathy whatsoever, I was told they can defer the payment, but it was credit impacting and would show as a missed payment, this is no help at all. I have made auto payments on time for 15 years and this is the no help they give.

I highly recommend Rocket Mortgage for a home equity loan. It was very easy to work with them online because their communication through email is excellent. All of the documents were available to e-sign and our representative was always available by phone or text to answer any questions about the next steps. Once we were set with our loan, we were transferred to another dedicated group of loan-closing people who were very professional and made the process go smoothly. Our checks arrived quickly and we sent them on to our creditors the same day. From start to finish, it took about two weeks for us. Everything was straightforward and clear. This was our first experience having to secure this type of loan and we didn't know what to expect at first, but everyone was very thorough with their explanations of what we needed to do for the process. Thank you.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I had several questions during the whole process and most were answered nicely. It did seem that my main contact got tired of my questions. I did ask if there was going to any cash back, tat it would be applied to the loan to bring down the starting balance but they ignored that request. I was very happy with the interest rate and length of the loan that was given to me. I was told not to make my mortgage payment and that I would have a 15 day grace period but wasn't told that the increased interest would increase to payoff amount. Also, they had an issue getting the payoff amount from my previous mortgage company so I was waiting for about 2 weeks on that. When I found out I could request it, it took a couple hours to get.

Despite obtaining a first mortgage with Rocket (a refi of a Wells loan) just a few years ago, we just had a very poor experience with Rock for a small second mortgage for a necessary home repair. Despite LTV of 350% and 800+ credit, we were never made to feel we were an existing or valued customer. There was zero (0) transparency in the rate -- and it NEVER changed in the nearly two months, despite significant changes in the 10-yr Treasury. We did not sign a rate lock and even the Notary at closing volunteered our rate was high. The fees were nearly 6% -- and we were charged the same fees as if we were obtaining a first mortgage. Literally spoke to 6 RM people to try and get an explanation of the myriad fees -- 5 of the 6 people could not explain the fees. Will never work with RM again.

I have nothing but great things to say about the following. Nate ** (loan expert), Alisa ** (processing) & Mia ** (closer). They were all super great and did everything they could to help make up for your Insurance Dept which needs some major reviewing. The Insurance Dept caused at least a week and a half delay on my closing and caused additional last-minute work for the Alisa, Mia and my personal Insurance agent. They failed to copy me in on 2 different request they sent to my insurance provided email. The emails did not go directly to my agent therefore the request just sat in email purgatory. Also, when they placed task in the portal for me, I could not see anything past the 2 bullets. If I had not physically been on the phone with my loan officer (Nate) and we read line for line I would not even have known what they were needing, Again the loan, processing and closing agent were incredible.

My experience with Rocket Mortgage in a word was, AWESOME. From my first conversation with Cody ** answering my inquiry, then Cody and I working through the application process I felt like I was working with a friend. Cody had a friendly, helpful, and patient demeanor and responded to any questions quickly and if not available he had backup. Having the tasks on a website for ease of completion of loan process was GREAT! Communication was EXCELLENT via text, voice calls and emails. Closing was easy to schedule, quick and easy to complete.

Very little stress involved throughout the process. All issues were handled appropriately and in a timely manner. I was kept informed throughout the process. The automated procedures worked to perfection. I would recommend Rocket to my family and friends.

Seamless. As long as you stay on top of your emails, you is about as painless as it could be. The crew knew exactly what they had to do and got it done. The only problems I had were of my own doing. Printer not connecting or wouldn't scan. As long as you follow your team you will not be disappointed.

Brian was awesome as our lender. He reached out often and explained everything we needed to do. He was also able to get some discounts from the seller. He was with us to the end! 100% recommend Rocket Mortgage. This was an awesome house, we had been looking for about a month or two. The first house went pending right after we looked at it. In the meantime I found this 114 year old house. All wood doorways and window trim, fireplace insert, basement and a garage. Brian was on it for us, right away.

It was incredibly easy, so easy in fact, that I purchased stock in the company. I think Rocket Mortgage has an ease of use business model that appears to use AI. In my opinion it will be the benchmark in acquiring a mortgage, refinancing, etc. My representative was extremely helpful. I was able to text, call, and email. All communications medium was responded to promptly.

Overall it was great. Maria was awesome and others that assisted worked to makes us happy. Biggest problems were no communications of why it was delayed (Getting Letter from current Lien Holder) and obtaining a closing date seemed to take forever. Then at closing we had a problem where we had to contact the Tech department. He immediately said lets get a notary to come by your home that day. Then the notary called and reset the appt for 3 hours earlier than the appt. Stressful process with these minor problems but overall very happy.

ROCKET is not good at providing adequate communication with its clients. You paid a bill (sent me a check to mail to Valley First) that was NOT my bill. The bill is my Ex-wife's. Had you read the divorce decree you would have seen that bill is hers. It is a bill for nearly $12,000. You have so many layers of People involved that I don't know who to talk to. You will NOT actually talk to customers, but rather you want to "chat". The lady you sent out to do the final paperwork was in a big hurry so I couldn't even read the paperwork and she would not leave me a copy of it to go over later. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ROCKET TO ANYONE EVER!!!! One star is generous. They had no rating lower.

All of the Rocket professionals that I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and timely. They are the reason that I have been using Rocket/Quicken for over twenty years. My one issue with the process was the dozens of unsolicited calls from other mortgages brokers after I stated the process with Rocket. Obviously Rocket did not sell my information but the credit scorers - e.g., Experian - must have. Rocket could have warned me ahead of time to look for this intrusion, and I could have blocked further access. Overall it was an positive experience.
