I got my car refinanced. RateGenius was very knowledgeable, and they helped me out a lot. I like the rate. I'm very happy.

RateGenius had the rate that I could go for and the payments I was looking for. They were very, very, very helpful with getting things together. I had a couple of problems with my insurance company, and they wanted to upcharge me $700 more a month. When I called back to RateGenius, the rep said that they've had problems with that insurance company. So I asked for a better place and he provided me with one. I not only saved with my refinance, I also saved on my insurance. So he was very, very helpful.

The communication was good while applying. I spoke with two people, which they had problems with some of the paperwork, but that was no big deal. But after I got the loan, I never heard back. I didn't know who I was supposed to make a payment to. I didn't even get a bill. I had to reach out and find who I needed to pay. Also, they did charge a closing fee, which was odd. I've never had a bank charge me a closing fee on an auto loan.

Refinancing with Rate Genius took a while, but it was simple. The reps were working with me just because they wanted their commission or however they get paid. They were adamant for the first week but once they started the process, the guy never followed up nor let me know where my loan was at. I had to be the one to reach out to him to get information. But he was quick to respond. So, I appreciated that. The process took almost three weeks but I understand because Rate Genius is the middleman. My payment is lower so, I'm happy with that. I would recommend them. They find you the lowest rate.

The experience with RateGenius was smooth and quick. I didn't have to do a whole lot except for reading a couple of things, signing and submitting. The signing of the documents took less than 10 minutes and getting your paperwork in took a couple of days for it all to get sent out. I didn't think I needed references but, apparently, I did or they did. So, a little more communication on that would have been nice. Still, working with RateGenius helped me lower my car payment, which was a huge thing.

The process with RateGenius took only a matter of a few minutes from start to finish. It was all online, and it was quick and went smoothly. I was happy with the outcome.

The application process with RateGenius wasn't too difficult. I put in some info and then someone contacted me and we finalized everything. I had to provide them some documents, which wasn't awful. I was able to upload everything. I had to redo my loan and draw it out for a couple more years to lower the payment just to try to have less money coming out each month and RateGenius is about as good as you can get.

The application process at Rate Genius was really easy. Every step of the process was easily laid out, easy to get through via their website on my cell phone. Once I got to the point of getting to an agent, they were always on top of it with communication. Also, definitely, the new rate was what I was looking for. The monthly payments fit what I'm trying to do as far as saving a lot better. Got me a lower interest rate, which, especially at this time of our financial situation in America, was nice to see. Really all pluses on that front. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you're looking to refinance anything that they offer.

I didn't get anything funded. I was expecting a welcome thing, but I got a bill in the mail and then I had two days to pay it. At that end, the closing needs a little adjusting. But I still would recommend RateGenius.

When I was going through the process, I was getting all kinds of replies back. They were very diligent about answering questions and trying to get the process going. Now that I paid my car off, I'm trying to get in contact with RateGenius so I can receive my GAP money back, but nobody's replying to me.

This was such a stress free process working with Ann. She got in contact with us and was about to provide us with information on our options within 24hrs, from there it took less than a week to get approved and processed. This was a great experience with a service. Highly recommend!

I honestly thought it was a credit karma gimmick. I wavered because I didn't want an inquiry to ding my score. I was approved in minutes and my old loan was paid off fast. I'm saving about $100 a month which is incredible!! Great communication during the entire process.

Gary was absolutely amazing, very tentative with every step of the way. After all was said and done there was a miscommunication with my old lender on their end. Gary was awesome and got right on it, following up daily until the matter was completely resolved. Overall had a very great experience and would like to return to do the same thing with my sister's vehicle.

This firm is not a lender and will shop your rate with multiple hard inquiries on your credit report even without a completed application in good standing. Very deceptive practices. Avoid them as they will send your file to affiliate "sister" companies

I received a mailer from RateGenius, claiming that I was "preapproved" to refinance my car at 5.25%, saving me $91 a month. Nowhere in the mailer did it say that the rate would be higher. I went online and filled out certain information, but the process seemed sketchy, so I did not enter in my social security number, nor did I provide any documents. Nonetheless, on its own and without permission, RateGenius ran my credit. I then got a text at 5:00 a.m. to call them because my application had been "approved."

Merenthau was an excellent agent. She stayed in touch with me and kept the ball rolling. There were some glitches in the process but it wasn’t her fault. She did everything she could to keep the process moving. Thank you Merenthau.

They're really good. Communication went very well. The reps answered my questions quickly.

After I submitted the first application with RateGenius, I was waiting for the representative to correct the document appropriately. Then it expired, so I had to submit the second application. I did not like that very much because that appeared in my credit. Other than that, they could offer better rates. Also, the rep I worked with was not always available for me because I was reaching so many times. So, he could improve on that. It would also help if I was given more information.

They helped me to refinance my car. The process initially went very well. In the middle, I was busy and then was not able to catch up with the deadline of the document, so we communicated for a while to discuss the next step. Finally, we got there. I definitely will recommend RateGenius.

Their rep Zach talked a lot and he wanted to know everything. In the beginning, he was quick to get back to me. But in the end, I had a struggle trying to get a hold of him. He eventually got back to me after I emailed him a couple of times. Also, I kept having to send the same stuff over and over. There was a typo on some form and I had to go and get it re-notarized and re-sent. I did that twice. Other than that, the application was easy.

The first time I went through RateGenius, they were very informative. They found me a great rate. I very much enjoyed their service. Their rep was very informative. He was a really nice guy. He worked with me. I was in the process of moving, so he told me what I needed to do in order to get the loan. I had to register my truck through the state that I was in. Then from there, my loan was approved within days. He got everything squared away. He was very much on the ball.

The guy from RateGenius that helped me in customer service was great. He was very informative and knowledgeable. The signup process didn't take too long. It was over a couple of days just because of my work schedule, but everything was really easy because I just go online and upload whatever I need to help with him.

Overall I would rate my experience with Rate Genius as extremely poor in terms of communication, transparency on processes, and customer satisfaction. I did my research on companies that specialize in lease buyout and came across RateGenius. I requested to initiate the loan process and was assigned a Loan Specialist - my overall engagement with the Loan Specialist over roughly two weeks was horrible.

The communication with RateGenius was horrible. They weren't getting back and it took days to get an answer from anybody. I had one representative who apparently had quit and I didn't even know about it. I was never notified and there was no contact until I asked to speak to a manager. They said a rep who had my file would be in touch. I was never given an explanation. The new representative was the one who told me what had happened. The communication needs improvement between the clients and the workers. But once it got to the right guy, it got done quickly and he was able to do it good.

Overall, the refi was really good. The agent I was dealing with was always very communicative. Within 30 minutes of me calling or something like that, I'd always get a callback or at least a message. The new rate and terms are a lot better than what I had. It was almost half of what I was paying as far as interest. It's a huge benefit.

Everything was good with RateGenius and the process didn't take that long. The only thing I didn't like was that I thought the rate was gonna be whatever that credit reporting agency sent to me, but it wasn't. They said it would be 4%. But when it was done, it may have been 7.

I have a used car and about a year and a half of using it, the gasket on the engine completely blew. We still owed a good 6,000 on it and to replace the engine or repair it or have it rebuilt was going to cost over $6,000 and I had no way to do that. I had to go to Ford and I was having to be charged roughly $500 a month, which was burdening. So, I went to RateGenius to find out what else I could do since my credit had gone up. They told me that they would be looking at several different lenders that can set up different plans and I was able to configure what worked best for my means. While it was a little bit challenging trying to get things settled, I was able to end up with a rate that felt agreeable. I'm now down to 470 a month, which is not too bad.

I was not sent all the proper documents to sign with my original paperwork. When RateGenius realized this they sent me a supplement that needed to be signed. This was signed and returned. They then called me to tell me my lease buyout paperwork had expired and requested that I get another one from my leasing company. My buyout had increased $120. RateGenius asked that I pay this difference, claiming it was not their fault that the buyout expired/was raised.

RateGenius seemed to be the best for the job. I compared them to eight companies and they had good ratings. The signup was a piece of cake. My agent was very helpful and quick to respond to anything I asked. They did exactly what they said and I would use them again.

My experience was rather pleasant. I'd never refinanced a car before, so it was all new to me. The rep Abraham was real helpful, and the lady that worked with me was awesome. They were really very patient with me 'cause I made a few mistakes and we had to redo it a couple times. They did a really great job, and we finally got the paperwork right. Also, compared to what my old rate was, the new rate was awesome. RateGenius took me from 20% to 4%. I'd recommend them to anybody if anybody asks.

During the signup, I was asked for standard information like employment history and making sure that I had an income, and then my residency. The process from beginning to end took about a couple of days. RateGenius will shop for you, and then they'll give you the best offers. They're doing good because pretty much everything was sent through email and I kept up with my representative through text messages. So, they have multiple ways of keeping in touch.

The signup process with RateGenius was fast. They sent me the paperwork and I did it by computer. It was a very professional experience. They worked with everything. Since I got a new loan and I'm paying less, I'm saving this month on payments.

For the most part, everything went smoothly with RateGenius and the process from application to finish did not even take a month. I was pleased with the service. The reps were there every time we had a question. They were on point. By doing the refinance with RateGenius, I have lower payments. We’ll recommend them.
