Hello.. This is VERY serious. PLEASE DO NOT deal with Oasis! They do not care about your situation. They only care about lending you $ a couple times. Once they lock you in with the very high interest you are Doomed!! When you need them again for an emergency then they all of of sudden don’t feel comfortable lending. That is the answer they give the customers. I regret ever using them. To see if I was witnessing this I asked to borrow $100 $200 $300… All denied with the reason of the underwriter saying they didn’t feel comfortable. I’d bet my settlement that if I’d request $20 it would also be denied. They look for people that are desperate and then take advantage of them. Forget all about you. RUN RUN RUN!!!!

I tried 3 times to get funds, they gave $ to the person who was in the accident with me, and now I am homeless. They're in jail. They are a joke. I will never call them again because they have left me stranded.

New customer. First it was waiting on my lawyer to sign documents, then it was my application was completed, then it was I'll have the funds the same day, then it was there's nobody in the funding department now, today I have to call me because my case just hit the funding department today, what a ** joke. Don't waste your time people. Now I'm stuck broke on the holidays after being "approved" **. The representatives are rude. Never again.

I am the victim of an accident. I was told by my lawyer to call Oasis Financial or Oasis Funding. They are the biggest he said. I wanted to borrow money to pay for my rent while I was injured. Boy, using this company is a mistake. They charge fees. They add those fees into the amount you pay interest on. The interest is calculated monthly! It adds up to like 80% a year. They charge like $135 to send me a Fed Ex check. It's only going to the next state. It's like I live in China that they charge so much. I switched to Redwood Funding Group. None of this **.

50% the first 6 months according to a NY Times article from 2017. Also fees and compound interest. They are way too costly. Tried bridgeway and redwood funding. Those guys had cheaper rates and more upfront about things. Redwood also had no fees or compounding.

I’ll send other to you. Thanks for everything. Customer service was good. They answered all my question and got me approved for the amount I asked for. Even emailed me to see if I needed more but at this time I didn’t. The only thing is interest rate should be lower at this time of cov-19.

It wasn't no hassle, no complication that explain to me step-by-step what the procedures was, what was expected of me, what were they going to do for me. It was easy.

Before I tell you my personal experience and what they do I want a take a moment and give you some advice I learned by my experience to this whole situation. First off, My advice to you is do your research before choosing this company. And Secondly, do not believe anything you read on their website. It's all false and do just look for good reviews hoping you'll find one good review to convince you to try. Which leads my last and final word of advice. Read the bad reviews and take them to heart especially if your settlement is in the lower end or harder to prove and I will explain later why. I see that this site has IS mainly good reviews but if you go to BBB website and their website you will see one bad review after a another.

HERE IS MY STORY AND THEN AFTER I TELL YOU MY EXPERIENCE I WILL tell you why I gave you the advice I did. On 10/09/2019, I was hit from behind straight in my lower back by a 5 shelf stocking cart full of boxes while standing to the side of a display waiting for my wife who had to grab something down the aisle we were passing. What hit me was the ladder that the cart is equipped with and attached on the front. I was hit so hard I was pushed to the floor onto my knees and my wife heard it all the way down on the other end of the aisle.

I was suppose to leave Idaho falls 10/17/19, we go to California in the winter and so I can continue work since what I do for a living is only seasonal if we live somewhere where snow flies. We had already taken our stuff out of the short term rental on the 1st so that the next couple who were taking the next 6 month lease could get moved in in which started 10/1. We had went and paid 2 weeks at a Motel 6. We are pet owners and pets stay free, while I rapped up things here in Idaho falls for the winter.

I had money in the savings 1 for the travel and expenses until I had steady income again and Savings 2 was for self employment taxes for My LLC business. When this happened we tried to find somewhere else to rent but it's not easy with our dogs and our fifth wheel is in storage in California and no one to get it sat put where we were since the room we had was mini apt except at 435.00 per week groceries storage payments insurance and phones etc you can go broke pretty quick. Well we did. We're starting on credit cards which don't have huge limits anyhow due to my credit in shambles from my last divorce by end of November right before Thanksgiving.

I applied with Oasis before thanksgiving believing in good faith despite the reviews. The Monday before Thanksgiving I asked for 10,000.00 which my attorney approved. They took till Monday after thanksgiving to finally tell me they were only lending me 2,000.00 and it would be 225.00 to sent it Western Union or a wire transfer. So then they took $225.00 out of the 2000.00 so I got 1775.00. Then when they sent it I asked them to set a security question cause my ID picture on my DL is worn from putting it on and out of wallet and not everyone will accept it sometimes they refuse it. I didn't say that I didn't have a DL or ID. I waited and waited all day finally I called western union and find out only 300.000 was sent to so me.

I called oasis and they say that my files says I have no ID so they only sent 300.00 western union and mailing the rest. First off I could have had the whole thing mailed for free I chose to pay 225 to get it now. And second I have an DL. All I asked for was a second security measure in case they don't accept due to the wearing on it. And they still charged me $225.00 to western union me 300.00. I sense the check by mail is free. I was lucky enough that the check was not sent out yet and was still waiting pick up. So they stopped the western union and then westerner unions the whole amount which took another week and by the Friday. Following the Friday after Thanksgiving 12/12/2019 I believe finally got all my money.

Now a day shy from February I am getting down to last of my money again and rent down to 280.00 per week since Dec 1. I have oasis the 2nd and only 2nd time, haven't gotten money from anywhere else, or asked anyone else and my case has made progress since the last time I asked and only asking for 1500.00 .they accepted my application one week ago. Today it was reviewed, accepted, approved by attorney and they denied in review again and I'm pretty sure it was only denied because it's been a week and sitting under review again for 3 days and I called today and said you guys need to make a choice. I don't have luxury to wait. I have rent due and my attorney had already approved it. What's the hold up. I need an answer so that I know or can plan a second plan of action here.

They said we will have an answer to you by the end of the day snotty and hung up after putting me on hold for 20 min. They sent me an email an hour later denying my application. LIARS. They don't want going to anyone else and will be your reason for denial if your case has not made progress yet and they have given you too much and don't feel comfortable. Well I have had asked no one else yet but I do have options too. I gave them the chance to make more money off my settlement before taking another option. Because I thought since I have one with them it would be in my best interest to continue with them. But they can not expect me to sit here for days and wait and not start.

This place are liars. They say whatever they want to prey on weak struggling people during their a settlement case who can't make there Bills due to a personal injury case or auto accident and you will find 100s of similar reviews like mine when you research. I did do the research and despite the bad reviews I gave them a chance to follow through on their own policy which does not state that if take over the promised 24 to 48 hours to give me the money I have asked for. I can't start planning a new plan and start asking other lending agencies. This is called scamming people. It is within your consumer rights people to do as you please with your own money and your attorney is only gonna act I. Your best interests so if he feels you are safe for another loan and approves it then there is no other reason to not believe the attorneys unless they have a history of losing a lot of injury cases which my attorney is not.

The law firm I go to is one of the few who are licensed to practice in multi states and have 5 star rating an outstanding reputation. Consumer rights says you have right to ask questions about your money or about anything that currently or in the future results in the taking of your money and any contract between the sale and the buyer or lender and a buyer shall be followed until broken and if broken. If broken by the seller or lender the the buyer or lendee has the right to either take legal action or take his money elsewhere.

Their advertisement says get 100 to 100,000.00 in 24 to 48 hrs once your application is accepted. My application was accepted the same day I filled it out which was Friday. It sat in review for the second time after my attorney filled out his paperwork accepting it which was Monday and then it has sat in review for the 2nd time since. I've already gotten 2,000.00 from them when my case was pretty much just beginning and here we are towards the end of my settlement claim and it's taking this long.

I have a right to protect myself by going to the next plan of action. They can not tell you what to do with your money. They forget who's settlement and who's injury it is that they are making money off of. They don't get to call the shots just cause they are lending you money people especially if they are taking half the amount of the loan plus the loan amount back. That 50% becomes profit for them. A profit they made off your injury. That settlement money they just profited off of is yours and you have the right to know and be informed so that you can move on to someone who can and want to help you. If this company cared anything at all about your situation they would not take that long to make a decision.

These people take advantage of vulnerable people who are under a huge amount of stress because Bills are piling up and they are close to losing everything. They get you to agree to to things you would not normally agree to under normal circumstances. And they think just cause you signed a contract with the them that you won't do anything or can't do anything about it but what they fail to understand is just cause our attorney is only a personal injury attorney and that's the only law they practice and or know doesn't mean you can't find a consumer rights attorney to go over paperwork before signing.

The refusal letter they sent me is down right an insult for the fact that they think I'm that stupid. They say I was refused cause they are protecting my financial health. News flash people I did not sue for financial wealth. I was hurt and the money I get from the people responsible for it is money for surgeries and recovery a Medical costs and Bills I couldn't pay while I was down and could work. That settlement is to pay my back Bills and medicals costs and you are suppose to be the middleman where Instead of having to wait and pay them possibly risk losing everything. I can get loans off my settlement to pay them while I wait.

Well the company that is responsible for my Injury has taken fault for it and admitted fault we are settling for an amount and giving them no responsibility for future responsibility if anything becomes an issue at a later time if we can settle for a high enough amount. We are only waiting for the company to submit a number if it's close or over ours which I can say can afford the 1500 asked for 100× we will accept if it's not close will submit.

Injury attorneys know what they are doing especially a 5 star one. I don't need oasis to protect me. I hired an attorney and paying big bugs to do that already. It is not your job to protect my financial health when my attorney has approved it being ok. No one knows better than he does when he is the one who knows the details of the case. If he agreed to it then that tells you that my settlement is not at jeopardy or that it's against my best interest. If he felt it was against my best interest he would of NOT have ok or done the paperwork you guys need to move forward with the loan process. Don't sit and lie about why you denied me. You don't care about my financial health. All you care about is getting money.

There is nothing showing red flags that my case is at risk. They are mad because I spoke up and people that speak up are not prey anymore. They seek out weak vulnerable people who take what they can and don't question cause they have no other choice. And they also check your credit too even though it says no credit check cause if your case don't win we don't pay. They are liars.

They check your credit and they do use as a determining source in their final decision. They use it as a way to see how much debt you have to pay off and to see if you're honest with paying your Bills because you may lie about your injury In order to get money to pay off debts. Well my injury is caught on camera where you can see me get hit and hear the loud thud sound hit made on contact and the recording has no sound at all. So you can't deny m What the camera shows. Stay away from these horrible people. Predators is all they are. And they are using lies to do it. There are actually lending agencies out there that do care. I found one who does only take 48 hours and by huge amount cheaper.
