I got an ID Shield as a complimentary service with a legal shield account (which is a scam and didn't help at all). One night I get an alert informing me that, according to court records, I had been charged with serious crimes, DUI, reckless endangerment, running it from the cops, violation of probation and more. It took several attempts to get a hold of of somebody and then after waiting for a long time, I was told that it wasn't me and that ID Shield will alert on things like if someone has the same birthdate, SSN, name or combination of those and not to worry because it wasn't me. Then the operator assured me that it was perfectly safe to enter in all of my banking and credit card information so that information could be protected also. I think it's all a scam and they make it very difficult to cancel on purpose so they can tap your bank account automatically. It's all **, don't subscribe.

I called recently to inform the company that I had a scammer call me and tricked me into exposing my email accounts and other data in addition to allowing them to steal a very large amount of cryptocurrency. The rep was very kind and sympathetic. She made sure to make a note of the incident in my file should the scammer try to steal my identity or attempt some other type of fraud in the future.

I contacted support regarding some dark web alerts I received and was unsure of how to deal with. The support person was very helpful, patient, gave me advice and suggestions on what to do, and alleviated my fears.

The agent was concise and was able to help me navigate the site and answered my questions.

I was very satisfied for the information I needed for my fraudulent loan.

I felt taken care of by my identity theft specialist. I was listened to, received help to understand my questions I had, and was given information on further protecting myself while IDShield did their job to help me. I am aged, and this crazy world is a bit too much for me. I would give almost anything to be transported to an earlier time in life when we were not so sophisticated that we hurt ourselves and each other with identity theft, scamming, and so many other unscrupulous practices that I really don't even want to know. I often feel like a stranger in my own body these days. It is very very helpful to be able to call someone and explain situations and learn how to navigate them safely. I recently had mail theft, which led to check theft, check fraud … Many police reports to be given, accounts to be changed, credit freezes and fraud alerts. It cost me three days of work to take care of all the documentation … but without ID Shield to provide lists of what I needed to do, the process would have been much worse.

I tell many about ID Shield, when the opportunity comes up, including my clients... Unfortunately, when you're over 65, there is a target on your back for fraud attempts. And AI is making this more difficult to spot. So, I requested help via email for a downgrade on my credit rating explaining that someone else's information was confused with mine (It was my son with the same name but different SSN). No replies for 2 days.

I called in and asked for assistance with the online privacy management. The person assisting me helped with a couple easy steps and I was taken care of. Their knowledge certainly helped make the process very efficient!

I receive a daily USPS mail and package report for what will be delivered within the next few days. The report also includes packages in sending supposedly to track my outgoing packages to track their delivery. In the past 2 months I have noticed several packages that appear to be shipped from my address via Tiktok. I don't have a Tiktok account and haven't shipped packages using the post office for quite a while. I have tried to handle this locally without much success. I do not want to be of fraud using the USPS. I also tried to contact Tiktok to get them to stop their users from this activity. They could not do anything without the user's names.

The staff listened to my needs and got me to the right person to address my issue. The second person gave me information on how to protect myself in the future. Both were easy to understand and helpful.

I had a supposed call from Amazon that walked me through several phone connections. They were to call me the next day to supposedly help me with fraud on my account. As I reflected on the experience, I suspected I was being scammed. So I called ID shield, and the wonderful woman totally helped me. And she went the extra mile to put an alert on my credit report with Experian that has made me feel much safer and I’m so grateful.

Recently IDShield informed me that they found my social security number on the dark web. When I called about it, the agent I talked with explained that my SS # was for sale on the dark web. When I asked what to do about it, she explained that I should put a freeze on my account on all three of the credit reporting agencies. She then emailed me the instructions on how to do that. The agent was very knowledgeable and took all the time I needed to explain the situation thoroughly. I never felt rushed. My investment in IDShield is well worth it.

Placing a fraud alert on our accounts was a bit cumbersome, but it was finally completed. We hope that our important information will not be compromised with ID Shield's assistance. Thank you.

Misty was so patient in dealing with the cs rep at Chase in regard to the alert about my SSN being used for a JPMC CUBE consumer deposit.

We spoke with your rep and she placed an initial security alert to our credit file. She was very professional and courteous. I also received a follow up card confirming the alert.
