My ex-husband decided to start using Identity Guard and told me about it. The website was okay. I haven’t had to use the service but if you need it, it’s a good thing to have.

Signed up with Identity Guard in June 2021. It was great for the first three months. I received regular alerts and Identity Guard was very diligent in monitoring my accounts. Then on 9/27/21 I received an alert email that several of my accounts at a local bank became unlinked in Identity Guard. Tried three browsers, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Opera and got the same error message "Cannot communicate with your financial institution." On 9/27 Identity Guard customer service rep tried to troubleshoot by having me delete cookies. She then put in an email to their IT department. I also emailed Identity Guard and received auto response that a reply would be received within 48 hours. Have not heard from Identity Guard. Called again 9/30 and spoke to Louis who said fix-it ticket was submitted to IT Department but he has no information when problem will be resolved.
Called again 10/5/2021 and was told my bank was at fault, that it must be the bank’s security system preventing me from relinking my accounts and there is nothing Identity Guard can do from their end. I then said what’s the use of having Identity Guard if they can’t monitor my accounts. The customer service rep put me on hold 30 minutes waiting for someone from Technical Support to answer. He then said he would have Tech support call me back in 24 to 48 hours as they are updating their system and the upgrading has affected their phone system.

I can't log in. They have trouble finding my account - because I have been with them for a while - they have not transferred my information to their new system. So I am penalized for having been a customer with them for some time. I am having to spend a lot of time just trying to get into my account.

We went through our financial advisor, who suggested Identity Guard. We were given a couple of different options, and the cost in relation to the quality of the service has been fair.

I really like that they monitor every aspect of the web including the dark web. With fast alert and since 1996. I don't know personally anyone who uses it the this company. I would definitely like to see more of its advertising around, it's a product worth having.

I’d recommend Identity Guard. This whole country makes me unrelaxed, and they offer a valuable service. It's good. If I need to see if anything's going on, I can just go right on my app and check. When I reset my password, I called up and the reps assisted me. They clarified, asked me some security questions then took care of business.

I thought that I would get information on a daily basis or weekly basis but all I’ve gotten so far are for passwords that they said were messed with and two of them I don’t even recognize and the other two are inconsequential except for my email address which I change the password many times and that was their only suggestion was to change the password so they did me no good.

It's useful. I think everyone have to be part of it and to explore more in this app. In first time when I started to use I was like it's the same like other apps but not I am in that every time and really love it. Nice job.

Identity Guard works the way they said it would and nobody's running around stealing my money so that's great. I get on the app and look from time to time on there. It shows me different concerns that have been out there like threats or risks and I adjust as needed. There are also times where we've had some changes in accounts and we'd get on there and confirm that it was us. One thing I would suggest is some kind of a monthly report, a pop up type thing that will trigger you to remember. I go a long time without looking unless something pops up to have me look.

Identity Guard gives us peace of mind. We know it works because when we've done transactions, we get notified for those transactions. My husband just got a new truck and he got a ping saying there was activity on his account. We're also building a house and it's nice to know that if something was to happen or someone was to try to steal our identity or if they got a loan, we would get notified and it would be handled sooner than later.

I had Identity Guard years ago. I stopped it for a brief while then picked it back up. I had a really good experience with them so even though it's expensive, I stay with it. I highly recommend it. My mother was in a nursing home, fell and broke her hip in the middle of the night. They couldn't get her to a local hospital, so they had to take her to a hospital that was not affiliated with our nursing home in any way. My mother had been dead for probably a year when the hospital started calling me, telling me that I owed her bills. The nursing home owed them because she was on Medicaid. They kept saying, “We'll pay the bills if they'll fill out the paperwork to be our vendor.” But instead, they kept harassing me. I kept telling them I wasn't gonna pay it. Within minutes of them putting a collection notice on my credit report, Identity Guard let me know and gave me the number to contact the agency that had put it on there. Because of that, within probably an hour, we had it cleared up and it was off my credit report. The reps were wonderful.

I like them. I use them for my credit monitoring company. When I have a question I call their customer service and they help me. I also have not had a problem with them. I have been a customer of theirs for a number of years now.

If I open up a card or Home Depot sends me a new card, they're a pain. I get notifications but it's been a long time since anybody's messed with my online stuff partly because of the identity theft protection from Identity Guard.

I love Identity Guard. I got a really good deal when I got my plan and I can see all three of my credit scores quarterly. I tried to get my boyfriend to do it but Identity Guard didn't have the same 16.99 a month plan. He couldn't sign into the mobile app like I do. It was frustrating for him. I did feel Identity Guard's value was the best but he did not want to pay whatever it was to be able to do the same thing.

I wanted to be able to use Identity Guard to be able to talk to my clients about it. It has value. There are employers that like feeling like they're providing a little something extra for their employees for not much cost. I like Identity Guard. I periodically check it to see what my credit score is. I like that it gives me alerts if there's a credit check.

I was getting a lot of scam calls and it stopped after I signed up with Identity Guard, so it's working. I get alerts emailed to me like credit scores changing. I'm satisfied with them. Everything works fine.

I worked for a company that had some employee tapes stolen years ago, and although they gave us a year of identity protection, I wanted to continue with that because I felt it was a smart thing to do. I had another monitoring service before and I didn't like them, so I changed to Identity Guard. So far, I've been very pleased and I didn't have the same experience as the other one. They have different levels of packages. I got one around the middle and I thought that was okay. They send me monthly monitoring reports and credit reports whenever I ask for them. I get what I should get for the money that I pay. In fact, I was about to call them in the next few days. I wanted to add something else onto my account for them to monitor.
Whenever I call them, they're perfectly courteous and professional. If I have a question they can't answer, they'll give me the correct avenue to go to to find out what I need to. I understand being an identity bureau, protecting your identity, there are certain things they're not allowed to say or answer to you. My father was scammed as a senior and so I had him sign up with Identity Guard in case we're busy and we're not watching his accounts for him. I set up the account and made up the password. My father didn't even have a computer. Then, I forgot the password. I told them that I pay for it monthly and I signed him up. They said that they couldn't give me a reset. It has to come from him. I get that they did that. Nothing happened with his accounts but I see where they can't help sometimes for the person's own protection. Even though I was unhappy, I was happy.

My husband bought me this service 2 months ago as a Valentine present. The threat of hackers stealing online identity has become quite common and is not only problematic but also dangerous. The thought of having someone else steal my personal identification is or anyone else's for that matter, is of grave concern. Think of reliving your life by someone else who is not YOU! The first month after my service became effective, I already got an alert. I called the company and spoke to the representative who informed me of a possible identity threat, reviewed the matter with me in detail, and we were able to resolve the problem satisfactorily. The feeling of having someone else monitor my online activity to ensure online security was relieving. I have great confidence in this service and would recommend it to anyone. They are reliable and not too pricey compared to the other services, and their overall ratings are very high.

We opened an account with this company last year. When the membership renewed this year, we cancelled it, just didn't feel it was worth it, no big deal. They WILL NOT RETURN WHAT THEY CHARGED MY CARD! I have a cancellation confirmation for the day of renewal. To add to the problem, we moved to a different state last year, and Identity Guard sent me an email saying "we see a new address on your profile", but now, they insist we haven't moved and make us use our old address if we try to talk to them. So much for protecting your identity. A Supervisor there keeps telling us she "needs to do more research", and never gets back to us. Please, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for identity protection. This is a horrible company

There has been no fraud on my account in the last couple of years that I've engaged with Identity Guard. The customer service was good because I got a few times of email and I responded to it and they acted accordingly. The poor service is that when I call, I stay in line forever. That’s what I don’t want to keep doing unless they send an email. But sometimes I just want to make a call because I don’t want to wait, then they give an alarm, and I would stay in line for 20, 30, 40 minutes before somebody responds. That improves a lot. Then sometimes when I call, it's in India. I don’t even understand the language. Overall, it’s okay.

I'm an employee benefits broker. Our brokerage firm reviewed close to a dozen different services and we did a pretty extensive search. We chose Identity Guard so I use that one personally too. The IBM connection with Watson was a big help plus the technology people that we had review the platform and interface. There been very little contact with customer service, which is fine. That's a good thing.
