    Every day for several hours at a time I've tried to access my money. They refuse to help. They refuse to even acknowledge my account as they continue to send me emails and tell me on the phone I do not have an account.

    I do not like going back and forth about my money. The hotel placed 2 50holds on my account and I didn't get them back and they are saying I did and one representative hung up on me. This is the worst. Had this account for six years and I am going to close it cause Credit Karma went down. They make it hard to dispute and they keep bad and wrong stuff on your credit pissed consumer

    Never again will I have anything to do with this place. Can’t get a hold of anyone, the one in a million chance I do talk to someone, beyond rude. He didn’t know what I needed (my phone number change and activate card) all he did with a jerk voice “Hold while I get someone to help me.” I was already holding for over an hour, then had to wait again. Intuit, you really need to axe this company. It’s only hurting your business. I have used you for so many years and I might need to change. Why did you hire them or even get cheap labor? I will never come back, EVER.

    Credit Karma Money uses Fintech which essentially bridges the gap between you and the bank they utilize, MVB Bank. However, the problem that arises with third-party companies is that they can easily lay blame on either the bank or the other party communicating with said bank. For example, I work in post-closing in real estate and as a notary as a side hustle, and I have been depositing checks into Credit Karma for over 2 years now. Suddenly, they had a issue with a check. So, instead of my deposit taking 2-3 business days, it's going to take 8 days. They took no responsibility nor didn't even apologize even based off of principle as being the middle man for me and the two banks. No one wanted to at least call both banks to see if they could determine what the issue was.

    They have some weird issues with replacing a debit card. And just like traditional banks, it'll take you forever to get a one. Their early pay, in which you get your payday a day earlier is also a joke, but they'll just blame your job for a payroll issue even though I've quite literally sat with our accountant and watch them enter the payroll. So, their one redeeming quality is a big hit-or-miss. I advise for traditional banking. I know some people use Credit Karma because they cannot go with a traditional bank due account closures, but try a second chance account before trying Credit Karma.

    The customer service was just terrible. Associates were difficult to understand or did not understand the concern or question. They abruptly closed my account with no warning or explanation and refused to respond when contacted. Several days of not knowing where my money was, locked out of my account and panicking, a check was finally deposited into my bank account. Never again!

    I have had Credit Karma for some time and always had my taxes deposited into this account. Today I called to see why my account was closed and they had no real answers. I also asked what happen to the money in my account and they stated, it will be sent to me. They also said that I was sent an email concerning the reason it was closed, all lies. Credit karma do better modern day thieves!

    I have been working so hard getting my credit straight so I can purchase my first house. Let me say this. Credit Karma is not bad but there are some issues I have endured with them like they advertise when you open a secured credit builder account your score can go up 40 points. Well that didn't happened at all. I have the credit builder account for nothing. And another issue I have is when something is reported on your credit incorrect and you score drops and you dispute it and it comes back when the incorrect info was indeed incorrect and has to be corrected the credit points are not put back on your credit report and if it is they won't put back exactly what was taken. I think that is so wrong. I hope they see this and try to do better. Now people have to work harder to get those points back on their credit report that was not updated like the incorrect info was updated.

    Run, Run, Run! Especially during the Holidays, they are the worst fraud experts on the planet. They froze my account for no reason and without a time frame to reopen it from customer service. Customer service doesn’t know anything at all and they pass you around. I’m letting you know don’t trust them… MVB Bank doesn’t handle any of the Banking for Credit Karma, they will only take a complaint from you. This is disgusting and it makes me sick and frustrated that they treat your money like it’s theirs and they are letting you borrow it. They don’t care about anyone livelihood at all! I’m on the phone with them now and they still have no resolution after 48 hours. I don’t even know why they froze my account or what’s in review.

    I am a single parent! They froze my account will, Not tell me why. My direct deposit was deposit on Wednesday, Nov 2nd I have not had access to my money. My energy bill is auto pay out, I had by certain time to pay. My lights was turned off due to this. Reason I have no idea how I will pay the any other bill, no money and I have 5 children and one on a breathing machine and he is only 3. This is unacceptable and I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would not get account with Credit Karma, taken always from families is not okay.

    Have had them for over a year - using their debit card. The night before my check was suppose to deposit I received an email saying it was suspended and to call. I call and they closed it. With my money and now my check won’t deposit and I have rent to pay. They said I will eventually receive a check for the money that Wa sun the account??? What am I suppose to live off of in the meantime. Call customer service and they say the legally do not have to tell you how or why.

    Credit Karma advertises to pay $50 if a credit card they nudge you to apply. I applied to two and was rejected. I’ve sent ton of emails. Get no response. My credit score went down. Also the c score they have for me is 626 while in Transunion and EQUIFAX is 547. They do not have Experian’s credit score. Total sham.

    Well now, I have read several reviews that seem to all have the identical problem with frozen accounts with no explanation or communication. Help chat people have a standard response that the issue is being handled by a "higher department." What a joke. I cannot get any response from the higher department and my accounts remain frozen for a month. I am closing the accounts and transferring my funds to a real bank. I am thinking about sending a complaint to the FDIC.

    I opened a Credit Karma Spend and Savings account recently. After initiating a deposit of $6000, my accounts are locked with a message: "Your account is currently frozen for your protection. Contact support for details.". After contacting support via chat, emails, and phone calls, they are not providing any details on what is going on. They told me it's under review by a specialized team, and no further information can be given. They didn't provide any details on the estimated time to fix it, and no way to escalate the matter. It's been over 3 weeks since my account was blocked. Stay away from Credit Karma's Spend and Savings account. Honestly, I would give 0 or negative stars.

    They froze my funds because they didn't recognize a legit company I made a charge to. Told me the only way to fix it was to send me a new debit/credit card. 10 to 14 days.. they sent me a new card that cannot be activated. Told me the only solution is to send me another card. 10 to 14 days. Meanwhile they keep sending me Emails stating my credit is taking a hit because of late payments. I can't make payments without access to my account. They are basically holding my funds hostage. Customer service is basically non-existent. They tell me I have to wait for the new card. I reported them to all the proper agencies. BE VERY CAREFUL!!

    My tax refund was loaded to a Credit Karma card and they disabled my card for months, now I have not been able to access my money and after speaking to 4 people, no one can help me! I need my money!!!!!

    Credit Karma is a horrible joke! To get a live person to answer one simple question takes almost an hour on hold???? Then when you finally get someone they ** their way through before hanging up on you! I better get my 200 dollars applied to my card! Trust them with my paycheck and direct deposit? Not in THIS lifetime!!!!

    I SO BADLY wish I would have seen these reviews prior to opening my Credit Karma Spend and Save accounts. Furthermore, I wish so badly that I would be able to review this crap business with zero stars instead of 1, which they don't deserve. Thursday, 06/15/2023 my Credit Karma Spend account was frozen because my boyfriend's paychecks were being deposited into the account and apparently that is a no-no when banking with Credit Karma, something I was never informed of and an issue that I have NEVER had with any bank, EVER.

    I immediately contacted customer support only to learn that there was a "higher department" that dealt with these issues and the only way they could be contacted was by responding to an e-mail that was sent to my Junk mail in early May. I did respond to the e-mail and have yet to hear back. I have all of my money sitting in my Credit Karma spend account, inaccessible, meanwhile I have a house with bills to pay, a car to put gas in, a job to get to and from, and a child who needs to be fed.

    I don't understand what Credit Karma expects me to do about these things while they hold my money and twiddle their thumbs without offering a better and quicker solution to the issue. I am at my wit's end. I've requested that my account be closed but God only knows how long it will take for that to happen and for my money to be transferred to my other account. I have never been so disappointed and upset by a bank in my life until I've banked with Credit Karma. I want to shout it from the rooftops that this company should be avoided AT ALL COSTS.

    I have had my paychecks direct deposited into my spend account for the last 7 months with no problems until May. They froze my account with no explanation except telling me it's for my own protection. It's now June so it's been over a month they have been holding my money which is $2300. In the meantime as a single mom I have had no way to pay my bills because they are holding my money in a frozen account. Every time I call, I get the same runaround about how my account is being investigated by a "higher dept" and no way to contact them. I was told to wait for an email which never came and I was also told that they sent me a new card which never came... I have no idea what to do at this point. I have contacted the BBB to help me get my money back.. I believe I have been scammed. Stay away from Credit Karma!!!

    Credit Karma money account is a total joke! I made a purchase from Shein supposed to be delivered by DHL and I never received my package. Contacted Shein and they told me to contact my bank. Well, my bank was totally NO HELP. They had me wait 90 days just to deny it with no supported details as to why. I never signed, there’s no picture that the package was left at my door. Absolutely NOTHING!!!! Credit Karma still denied my claim so I have no package and my money is gone! EVERY TIME you call credit Karma they know nothing and speaks directly from a script. It takes you 10 minutes to verify your account only for them to read a script to you. I will never use this account again. There’s no protection whatsoever in situations like this.

    I opened a credit karma account in January in hopes to rebuild my credit. As of today May 5, 2023 Credit Karma has allowed over $3700.00 thousand dollars to be stolen from my account and refuses to allow me access to my funds. I have placed over 42 phone calls in regards to this. I was told over the period of 4 weeks that my account is locked and nothing can be removed from it. Last night my balance was $934.79 and today it is $795.54 and funds were again removed from an unauthorized merchant. I just spoke with customer service and they told me that I can not remove funds from my account or have access but anyone with my account and routing number can. Except me. I have tried to link a account to remove the funds that was left and not stole and it's denied. I can not order a debit card or have the remaining funds. So they are allowing my funds to continue to be stolen and not stopping it.

    After numerous attempts to create an account I finally gave up. I received contradictory information regarding the procedure and whether I had account after trying to submit my information. On at least 5 occasions I was informed the problem was fixed. On at least 4 occasions I was notified that my account had been deactivated, an account I never had. The same day I received a notification that I had an account but signing in was impossible. They also wanted me to change my email address. I understand they may provide a valuable service to some customer but I certainly am not one of them.
