    I'm older and not tech savvy, and I already have the Vivid Seats App, but I order the tickets through the website and it was very challenging getting the last step to claim the tickets. I had to put gmail on my phone (which I hate) to finally get the app to recognize the purchase. This is ridiculous. Also, when the tickets were delivered, it was by Ticketmaster and what an amazing smooth process they made it. If I had purchased through the app instead of website it most likely would have been okay, but I am 65 years old and this was hard for me to figure out. I spent 3 hours on what should have taken 30 seconds.

    I never received my ticket. After waiting several hours and still no ticket, I contacted customer support, first via chat and then via phone. I was disconnected on my first attempt. Eventually, I was able to speak to a representative who helped me. Unfortunately, I received a lesser ticket as a replacement, and I missed 30 minutes of the game due to the delay. I have been a happy Vivid Seats customer for several years but was extremely disappointed by today’s experience. I would like to know that the seller that failed to deliver my ticket will no longer sell on your platform, and that in the future, you will reach out to me when there is a known problem with my order rather than waiting until the event has already begun to fix the issue.

    Buying theater tickets from resellers can be more difficult than buying sports seats. When you look at the various sellers of theater tickets, some tell you the actual seat number, but some only tell you what row you're in without telling you where in the row. In many theaters, the row extends all the way to the very side of the theater, including obstructed view seats. You can see many of what appear to be the same tickets on several reseller's websites, but I am very reluctant to buy from a reseller who does not give sufficient detail to assure me that I am not buying an obstructed view or side of the theater seat.

    Vivid provided the best compromise. It told me that the seats I was buying were in the center Orchestra and the price was a shade higher than the resellers who don't give you any detail at all, and significantly lower than the retailers who give you exact seat numbers in addition, once I bought the seats, I received my actual tickets in under two minutes. All in all, a very professional transaction, and I was never worried that I might not be getting the tickets that I thought I had purchased.

    I can’t download my tickets to my wallet. I’ve had many problems over the last transactions, and I am debating whether I will continue to purchase tickets through your website.     The fact that the tickets I just received say 49.50 and I paid 89 plus change is very irritating to discover and leaves me disinclined to use this platform again. Lesson learned to research better next time. And you don’t get the tickets until the day of is not ideal.

    Ordering the tickets was easy. Even getting a discount for using it through Capital One was easy. I'm not happy with 115% guarantee because there are cheaper sites but the guarantee is only for specific sites. And even those, would have been cheaper if it weren't for the special 15% discount I received for using Vivid Seats for the first time. Which means if I had been a return user, the other sites would have been cheaper.

    The difficulty with this entire process is having to get tickets through Ticketmaster by going through a NBA team site without any clear directions as to how to do it step by step. It's a little aggravating to have to use multiple apps and download ones you may not have for the team to just get back to Ticketmaster. And then you wind up moving those tickets to your Google wallet, so the entire process to actually download and use your tickets is a little tedious and makes no sense. If Vivid Seats is where I buy the tickets, then Vivid Seats should find a way to have the tickets go directly to their app so that we don't have to go through all of these steps.

    Incredibly frustrated and I am a long time customer of Vivid Seats. I was leaving a basketball tournament that was more than half over and started looking at tickets for the next days games. I would never have thought the event I had just left was still selling tickets when it was more than half over but it was. My error but I accidentally in my rush to get tickets bought 4 for the event I had just left. Again why they were still for sale I have no clue. I immediately tried to cancel within a minute and was told absolutely not. The next day I chatted with customer service and ONLY asked for a refund of the absurdly high fees understanding someone needed to be paid for their tickets. I was again told no flexibility in their rules. So I am out over $500 and my loyalty to using Vivid seats is gone.

    Ordering process was smooth and easy, but delivery was less so. Ordered at 7:30 pm for a 10:00 pm show. App said tickets were pending and would be ready at 8:30 pm. Checked the app at 9:55 pm and still said pending at 8:30 pm. Checked email and saw an email from Vivid Seats stating "Your tickets are ready in the app." Clicked on the link in the email, it took me to the app, still said pending, ready at 8:30 pm. After some poking around, checked the app again at 10:05 pm and tickets were there.

    I'm guessing this happened because I ordered them at 7:30 pm and the person on the other side didn't check their phone until 10:00 pm, when the doors would be opening. Totally understandable, but the communication about this kind of scenario could have been better. The email at 7:57 pm saying "Your tickets are ready in the app" was especially confusing.

    If Vivid Seats sells you a third party scanning barcode, the seller can sell the same ticket multiple times because the actual ticket is not transferred. It is a copy of the original. Venues don’t accept it, I called ahead of time. Since it’s not a Ticketmaster ticket, you don’t actually possess the original ticket. They will not refund my money or go back to the seller. I am deeply troubled by their lack of customer support.

On February 12, 2026 I ordered 3 tickets for Carole King at Palm Beach for February 14 performance. I ordered through Vivid but they required that I get the tickets via Ticketmaster. On February 13th I was told by Vivid that the concert was cancelled, but that my tickets were good for February 18th. The date they offered didn't work for me, so I requested a refund. Literally HOURS on the phone, I sent back my electronic tickets as directed - AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND! OUTRAGEOUS! Beware VIVID!

    Hi Albert, there's actually a way to do that! Look for ball game listings with the delivery method marked as Vivid Seats Mobile App rather than Electronic Transfer. The former is for tickets that will display right in our app, while the latter will require you to use the MLB Ballpark app. The reason some tickets require the Ballpark app is because all MLB tickets now use that app for management and distribution. Even those tickets you see in our app can be accessed there, too if there's any issues with loading the Vivid Seats app.

    I did not receive tickets for an event (purchased at a 300% markup from the original price, BTW). After receiving the email to accept transfer, then to create the account, I went in and the account said there were no tickets for no events. I downloaded the app. Nothing there either. Chatted with 2 "personalities" and received zero help. I was told to go back into the account, and "I'll stand by." That was the extent of the help offered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company for two reasons: One - you might not get the tickets, and there is no recourse for you if you do not; Two - they have an obscene price markup. I live an learn. Here is a tip: If a company is so insulated against any form of customer relations other than a "chat app", then it's not a good idea to use them.

    This is the first time I've used Vivid Tickets. I did so to buy Metallica tickets at the Sphere since I got a reward through my credit card. I bought the tickets, but it was not clear in the process that the tickets weren't actually "available" yet and the purchase was based on the seller obtaining tickets. Once I received a confirmation email, it was then revealed that the seller had until noon the day of the concert to transfer the tickets (6 months from now). What? I've not gotten my tickets immediately after an online purchase, even from a reseller. Since the entire trip is based around this concert, this was a bit disconcerting. 4 days later I did receive an email that my tickets are available and they do show up in the app. The reason I give 4 stars is the confusion the process caused.

    Hey Rick, since you didn't buy Seat Saver tickets, the seller did have them already at the time of purchase. In some cases it can take them a little bit to manually provide them to you, and the estimated delivery date is just the latest estimated date we expect them to be sent over, which accounts for any release delay from the venue. In your case, and for the vast majority of orders, tickets get sent pretty soon after checkout if not immediately!     I purchased two tickets on Feb. 5, 2026 for a Yankee Spring training game. It turned out they were the same seats I purchased on Feb. 1, 2026 on Stubhub so two people could not get into the game. After purchasing tickets at the first attempt minutes later I was informed my order was cancelled and I did not have tickets due to a credit card security issue. I attempted 4-5 times to contact customer service and finally got someone on chat that informed me regarding cancellation and I had to reorder tickets.     I would normally not write a review, but this case is a bit different. I had purchased ticket for my husband and I, but he ended up getting pulled away by his job, last minute… So, I posted tickets for sale, and realized I had paid 3 times the price. I finally sold them, lost over half what I paid for them, and when I got a call from Vivid that they had them sold, I explained that I had already sold them, due to concert happening in less than 2 hours… The customer service lady replied, "Ok, no problem, I’ll communicate this on our side". ALL GOOD…

    Then, after months, I get a charge from vivid seats for 225.00 on my bank app. I call and they refuse to refund that money, even though the employee said, “ok, no problem”… I did pay 3 times regular cost of ticket, due to all fees with this company. So, not only did I lose money on resale, they also, after months, charged my card an additional 225.00, and said, I didn’t read all terms and conditions. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

    Absolutely AWFUL company to work with. Didn’t provide tickets or a refund. My event changed to a few weeks later than the original date. My tickets were showing in the app and working before the original date. Vivid Seats didn’t even alert me that the day had changed. I found out from the venue who stated all tickets would still be valid.

    Fast forward to the date of the event… The app won’t let me access my tickets and throws an error. I call Vivid Seats and was unable to get in touch with anyone. They suggest using their live chat since it’s quicker. I press 1 to have a link texted to me and each time, the link opens the app and no chat opens. The only “help” are the FAQs which don’t apply to my situation. I am then forced to buy tickets at the venue which were HALF of what Vivid Seats charged me. When asked if these were discounted rates, the venue said no. Okay… so I’m being overcharged, not provided a service, AND can’t get in touch with the company? I call again the next day and was able to get in touch with someone. While I’m ON THE CALL making the claim/investigation, Vivid Seats then sends me an email that they were informed the date had changed. They said they were still looking into it and would need to wait 3-5 days.

    The next day, I get an automated email saying my investigation is closed and I’m not owed a refund. I call and use my reference number to get in touch about my investigation… the phone system REFUSES to let me get in touch with someone if it’s using that reference number and says I have to use the online chat link… which again, still doesn’t work. I then call and follow the prompts to sales and immediately get in touch with someone. Crazy how when it comes to them owing me money I can’t find them. But if I want to give them more, they’ll answer!

    Sales then transfers me to support who tells me that they can’t do anything because the date was changed and not canceled. My issue isn’t that the event was rescheduled. THE APP DIDN’T WORK AND ERRORED WHEN OPENING MY TICKETS. They wouldn’t have even known that the date was changed had I not called! I’m then told that I was sent an email where I can download the tickets… It’s nowhere to be found. Only emails that I can find say I need to use the app to view my tickets. I read that to the tech on the phone verbatim. The support tech then sends me an email (using the details from this email I still could not find this original email they were referencing) and the names on the tickets aren’t mine.

    I’m told it’s because they were resold. So when was I going to be told this? The app didn’t show this nor did the emails. I have never worked with a company that gatekeeps support and services like this company. They do not care about providing a service. They just want your money. Check other providers… It’ll be well worth it. Waiting to hear back from my bank in hopes they can reverse the charges.

    I hereby raise serious concern about our unsuccessful process to attend a concert by the LA Philharmonic on the evening of Feb 17, 2026, despite purchasing and fully paying for two Orchestra section seats on Vivid Seat's online portal on November 18, 2025. Under My Tickets in their app our seats were listed as "Confirmed" since that date, with electronic ticket delivery promised for "at least three days before the event". However, I was contacted two days prior to the event and was told that the "delivery method had changed".

    During the next 48 hours I had four phone calls with Vivid Seats service staff; during each of them they tried to reach the ticket seller while I was placed on hold. Unfortunately, the seller did not respond to any voicemail, text or email messages, up to four hours prior to the event, leaving us no option but to cancel. We have been promised a full refund by the Vivid Seats service staff, which we are presently awaiting. I suspect that the seller had either decided to attend the concert or was holding onto the tickets until the last minute, to potentially secure a higher price (even though we paid many hundred $$ for our tickets three months earlier).

    The key issue is that the entire process is DECEPTIVE and revolves around the needs of the seller, not the buyer. We had been looking forward to this concert for three months, since the date that the tickets were fully paid for. With other online secondary ticket sale companies, ticket transfer occurs at the time of payment and clients are not left "hanging", wondering if their "confirmed" tickets will in fact be actualized. We therefore strongly encourage Vivid Seats to change their processes to meet industry standards, so that once a client pays for tickets in full the tickets are immediately transferred, rather than at a later date. Until this change occurs, we would strongly caution prospective clients to not place any credence that the tickets they purchase on Vivid Seats in good faith will, in fact, be delivered prior to the event.

    This company is probably the most difficult to resell tickets. Bought tickets for the Backstreet Boys concert and received them in a weird link form. Unable to transfer to Ticketmaster or Apple wallet. Contacted support to make sure tickets were real and are able to be resold if I didn’t want them. They confirmed they were real and sent me steps to resell.

    On the day I decided to resell they denied me and it took over almost 2 hours to ask for the reason why and they said the initial seller didn’t allow resale. I told them I spoke to an agent who confirmed I can. They finally agreed to let me sell and it was already time sensitive to sell the tickets. Then they proceed to say I can only sell their vivid… which limited me from selling on other 3rd party platforms.. I felt like the agents were not helpful and even stopped responding to me at one point. They also refuse to activate my posting unless I sent over the tickets. I found this out only cus I contacted the agent again. This was to my surprise because it is not written anywhere in their policy for posting tickets up for sale. That took up 2.5 hours of my time of just even selling giving the concert was in a couple hours.

    When they did post my listing after I sent over the tickets the listing was NOT written the way I wrote it. The price was not what I wrote. And I even got a crappy score on my listing (6.9) which I felt like it was a disadvantage for new sellers like me. They told me the score is a reflection of how many tickets one sold in the past. Obviously no one bought my tickets in the end. I felt like I was scammed out of my time to resell. Now when you ask for chat receipts they need to go thru supervisors to approve it. I definitely don’t recommend Vivid to any other buyers or sellers. They don’t provide fairness for new first time sellers.

    The fees with Vivid Seats were cheaper. I bought several sets of tickets from. The latest one was the Dallas Mavericks, which local kid, Cooper Flagg, is playing against the Celtics. I'm bringing my nephews to the game, and that's on March 6th. I use Vivid's rewards program, and last year, I cashed in three tickets for the New England Revolution. I like that I get free stuff for buying tickets. Any time I need secondhand tickets, Vivid's my choice. My experience has been good.

    Vivid Seats is safe to use. I like it. I normally get tickets for sporting events and it's easy. The tickets are always there when they say. If I buy X amount of tickets through Vivid Seats' site, they credit some money back towards future purchases. I go back to them often because of that. After 10 ticket purchases, you get a portion. It's not an astronomical amount, but it's something towards the next purchase.

    I have not received my tickets even though the emails and app say they have been delivered. The problem is that the app and online links take me to the Playhouse Square website where I need to enter a Playhouse Square ticket code in order to initiate electronic delivery of tickets. Vivid Seats has not provided me with that code, so, I cannot get to the Playhouse Square tickets. I raised my issue with Vivid Seats Chat support on 11/7/2025. It's now 2/13/2026 and I have not heard back from Vivid Seats support and I still do not have access to the tickets I bought on 11/4/2025. Generally Vivid seats has been a good source for me, but this experience has been frustrating.
