I bought iPad for my kids from Walmart and they offered a warranty from Allstate. I filed a claim twice and it was done good. I did it online. The first time I had called and they had put me through. It was just easy. When I did it online, I got an email for the mailing label and it was quick. It was less than seven days. It was an excellent experience. I referred Allstate to all my friends already.

Walmart sells the Allstate protection warranty. Sounds great. Wait until you try to use it. Complete disaster. Totally incompetent customer support and warranty service. Take my advice, DO NOT BUY any of their plans. You will spend more time trying to get results than the item was worth. I'm into a full week of garbage answers and having to repeat everything when you get a chat agent. I got an email to call a 1-877 number. Before I know it the call dropped after a supposed text message was sent. I never got the text.

I did a claim with Allstate on a printer I bought from Sam's Club, and they sent me a check for the cost of the printer. This time, the process was real easy. The protection plan is inexpensive but they don't reimburse the coverage cost and tax.

I purchased a plan for a Kitchenaid dishwasher. After 3 repair attempts, which only made the problem worse … said they would only provide a set reimbursement a less value than replacement. We were sold the policy on the basis of repair or replacement. This is a clear bait and switch scam sold by Allstate, which should never be trusted for any insurance need.
Their customer assistance is all offshore operators that speak limited English and only work from a fixed script. They are not able or willing to help or provide solutions. Under all circumstances, the customer will lose. You are essentially wasting your money buying an Allstate Appliance protection plan… the only thing it protects is them keeping your money.

The motor went out on the lift chair. I called the place I bought it from to start the claim process and they did a good job. Everything went fine. It was a lot smoother than I was expecting. The whole process took about a week. Allstate paid me the cost of the chair. They mailed me a check. They didn't include the tax. But they paid me some money, and I was happy.

We usually forgo purchasing added warranties, but the cost of replacement and the included warranty by Costco made this a non-issue. While hoping that it was still covered, I was grateful that it still had to the end of the year of warranty. Just a few quick questions and I set up for an in-house repair, which I appreciated as I didn't want to haul my TV to a repair facility. A very satisfying experience and will not hesitate to proceed with future warranty claims. Thank You.

They took care of my phone and replaced with better looking phone. You cannot ask for better service than this. It was easy to put in claim, talk to real person on phone, and effortless shipping and returning process. I have any warranty with Allstate protection through Amazon, eBay, Walmart and they never disappoint when used.

Allstate warranty is trying to force me to take a gift card for the original purchase price of my dishwasher instead of repairing my dishwasher or replacing it. If I accept their gift card, my warranty is gone and I have to buy another dishwasher and the current price is only $50 less than it cost me to purchase the first dishwasher that is less than two years old.

I sent in a claim to Allstate and it was the easiest process. I've already recommended Allstate after I saw how easy their process with mine. Now we know the insurance definitely works. When I called to make the claim, I had questions because that was my first time using it and I mentioned I didn't know Allstate had on service people that they go to, that they have to select the ones that they use. I already asked them could I use this one particular guy that I knew fixed phones that somebody had just recommended me to him from my doctor's office. I didn't know him personally, but somebody had told me how good they did with their phone. Their phone was having the same problem my phone was having. So, I filed everything.
When I got the information, it told me where I could take my phone, which I don't care because it was right here by my house. Allstate did give me a choice to choose, but he wasn't on there. The customer representative needs a little more training so that they'll know what to answer because the question wasn't answered to me correctly. What they should have said was, "We already have authorized people that we work with and you get the chance to choose one of them." But they told me I could use this person and they were not an authorized user.

I purchased a home warranty from American Home Shield, and it had an offer for electronic protection with Allstate, and I got that. I had an audio-video receiver that I filed a claim on and sent to a repair shop. It couldn't be repaired, so they sent me a check.

Usually, when I purchase something, I buy protection for all my stuff. I use Allstate and when I file a claim with them online, my experience has been wonderful. I had one item replaced and one item fixed. The process was easy and quick. I didn't have any problems.

I am extremely dissatisfied with how this claim has been handled. Denying coverage based on alleged “commercial use” feels misleading and unreasonable, especially since this limitation was never clearly explained when the policy was sold. If Allstate intends to deny claims under broad interpretations of “commercial use,” that information should be made unmistakably clear to customers upfront. Using a coffee maker for myself at work constitutes a commercial entity?!? HOW? DO NOT BUY ALLSTATE INSURANCE FROM ITEMS PURCHASED AT WALMART.

The pool pump suddenly stopped working. It was working one day, and the next day, it just stopped working. I submitted a claim with Allstate. There was a number that I had on the original receipt, and that was the number I called up. They said, " Yes, your thing is covered." They asked me for the receipt number, gave them the receipt number. They said it was still under coverage.
Because I was driving, I didn't have access to the emails immediately. But they had asked me for a receipt number and my address. They verified that this was an item that was still under coverage, because it is one and a half years since I purchased it. Then they sent me a check. The process was easy, even the speed at which they settled and sent me the money.

We have been buying Allstate Protection Plans for all our appliances and it had served us well. Registering your appliance protection online is easy, and when something happens, it's very easy to file a claim, and their representatives are always available and very helpful.

Everything with Allstate was great. When I went online to file my claim and it said that, under electronics, they don't have an air mattress on there, I went on the chat and they helped me out. They gave me a refund. They put it on a gift card. So, I went right to Walmart and they already had it online at the store. They had the credit card on the line there so that's very convenient. I bought a smaller and a better one. I have a protection on that one, too. For everything I buy at Walmart, I get a protection plan with them. Overall, the plan is worth it. Allstate is good. I appreciate it. I was surprised at how easy it was to get the claim taken care of.

We just had our stove claim done. The repairman came to fix it and he made it worse. And then, it got to the point where we couldn't open up the door. So, Allstate had to replace the whole thing and I got a brand-new stove. The claim process was very long. We had to send videos and pictures, and they didn't like the pictures we were sending. So, we had to send more pictures. It was a big fiasco. I was without a stove for six weeks.
Having the extended coverage is sometimes worth it and sometimes it's not. We did it for my refrigerator and we figured we'd do it for the stove. I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator and I had nothing but problems with it, and that refrigerator is gone. So when we bought the appliances, we figured we'd take out the extra insurance, which is a good thing that we did because it cost us an extra $300, but we made the deadline with it. The stove was only a year and a half old.

I got Allstate on a refrigerator. When I did a claim, I had to call as well as online wasn't working. I walked them through my problem and they gave me some solutions. We tried to get it repaired, but it's not a popular brand. The local repairman suggested just getting a new one that is a more popular brand in case it breaks in the future. We got it replaced and Allstate went forward with paying out the claim. Everything went pretty great.

I had a PS5 that suddenly stop working, blank screen, I tried everything and nothing. So we contacted Square Trade (previous name). It was very tricky the first time, we had to send the screenshots a few times but I received the prepaid label to send the console to CA. However, via email, maybe like 3-4 days later they sent us an online gift card with the price of what my wife paid for the console (it was a really good deal at Waltmart). But I would have preferred a refurbished console not the money back. Now almost 2 and half years later the prices for a new console are higher. Currently, I couldn’t afford to pay for a new PS5 we never had the opportunity to choose…Sad ending to my ps5, bad idea to purchase online games.

My unit got replaced, which is not a problem. It all took less than seven days. We got the protection plan on my all of my son's ear buds because it's worth it. If you click, you make a phone call or do the email thing, and the rest of it is just clicking, and they would say, "Okay, click here," and your stuff is replaced. It was crazy.

The AT&T Salesperson said good things about this service, but 3 days after my phone broke and I've made a claim, I have no idea if/when I'll be getting a replacement. With AT&T or Apple protection, I would have had a phone same or next day. With Square Trade, they don't seem to care about their customers and, based on what I've been told, it will likely be over a week until I get a replacement phone. Like everybody else, I use my phone for work and to communicate with my children, which is currently impossible. Run in the other direction from this service.

The TV started glitching. We'd be watching and it just turned off. I filed a claim to Allstate. I won't say the claims process was seamless, but it was very easy. They replaced the television. Having the warranty is extremely valuable.

Purchased protection plan for my sectional. Purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart. When I went to schedule my one time cleaning, Allstate wanted to send me a “self cleaning kit”. If I wanted to do it myself I would not have purchased insurance. You never know how good something is till you need it. Will not purchase again.

I don't know how this company has a rating of 4 Stars at the time of writing this review. I sent an ASUS Gaming Laptop for repair to their equally unscrupulous repair shop, Tech Force, Puerto Rico, and after more than a month of waiting, I get the laptop back without the charger! Then as I continued to investigate I find that the motherboard has been downgraded!
My laptop just shut down and wouldn't turn on, a walk in the park for a real repair specialist, the laptop was only 14-months old, brand new! For what I paid for the insurance I could have included another $50 to $100 and sent the laptop to a real repair specialist. Not a parts replacement shop! After all the back and forth they offered me $100, because according to their logic the laptop works and the charger, that I finally was able to get back, charged it. I don't use the laptop, I am that disgusted.
They totally ignored the fact that they downgraded my laptop! I spent time with ASUS, which are no piece of cake either, to get the part number for the motherboard and an actual link on their store. The motherboard costs $1,071 dollars. And here is the reason my laptop was downgraded, because the motherboard has been temporarily out of stock for months, it could take months to restock. So they had a motherboard with lower CPU and GPU on hand and just used that to "repair" my laptop! That was Tech Force, Puerto Rico. A real repair shop would have repaired the motherboard. Check your devices, I know there are a lot of non-technical people that send their devices to be "repaired", and chances are that your devices could have been downgraded, and most of you not realizing this have given glowing reviews!

I purchased 2 bunk beds in 2022 from Amazon. Paid for warranty. 1 bunk bed screws fell from the ladder. It cut my daughter's legs while climbing in it to prepare for bed. The 2nd bunk bed was cheaply made. The bed shake like a stripper. Mind you this was the 2nd bed sent because the 1st one arrived broken. I reached out to SquareTrade in regards to warranty and they declined my claim because the piss poor policy. Then had the nerve to say we'll cover your warranty.
We parent would not toss the damn bed out the door after this. I feel like they declined my claim to avoid from paying me my money back. Its seems as this has been a major issue with many customers. I wouldn't dare warranty another item with squaretrade. I forgot I purchased a phone. The phone was accidentally dropped. Phone shattered. Per squaretrade policy they covers accidents right. I had to go through hell to get my son a different phone. I would not recommend anyone to spend extra money for this fraud service. Unfortunately the rest of photos won't load.

I have Allstate Protection Plans on my tablet, and it was hard to get the claim started. I had to go through a whole lot just to get them to do the claim and to find my number. But once I got the okay to have the tablet replaced, it went smoothly after that. It took a day or two. The plan is somewhat worth it.

When the online trouble-shooting assistant did not provide a remedy for us, we spoke to a representative who asked us a few questions to determine if our item could be sent in for repairs. It was determined that it would be the best solution to send us a check for the original purchase price of the item. The check arrived in the mail a short time later. The representative was very positive and helpful in managing our claim.
