It was a very easy process. I made my claim in December 2022 and it was resolved in March 2023. Reasoning for the delay in resolving, is because I had to select a resolution. I was waiting for an email, but it was my response they were waiting for.
Very easy to put in a claim and very nice agent and claim was resolved in a short time, had my TV in 4 days, the TV was delivered in a safe and professional way. This is the first time I have used Allstate Insurance but it won't be the last. They are very efficient and there was no hassle at all. Thank you Allstate.
Your guy was here for all of 12 minutes, played around a little, said it was fixed. It isn't. It has not made any ice since he left. Now I have to make another appointment, wait another week, sit around and wait and hope it gets fixed again? This is a HORRIBLE way of doing business and I sincerely wish that Allstate never took over.

I always get the protection plan. It just makes good sense, sometimes I never use. Sometimes I need it. For the minimal price of the plan to me it's really worth it. I recently had to make a claim and it was handled great, Allstate went out of their way to make things right. Kudos.
Excellent service. Professional people. No problem making claim. Very fast and courteous people. I plan to always use Allstate for warranties. Extremely quick response and excellent response. Transaction smooth and honest. Did not try to cheat or decline the warranty. They took ownership of it. Thanks for the honesty and quick service.
This has been a complete nightmare since the beginning. I had no issue from start getting my claim reviewed and approved. I was sent a e-gift card through my email to replace the damage items that I had insured just to go and try to purchase the item and replace the item. I didn't and find that the money was not available on my gift card. So I contact Allstate and make a complaint and file complaint and find out what's going on. I also then was transferred to Walmart because they claimed that Walmart was responsible as the gift card was the issue. I contacted Walmart then tells me that it's actually Allstate's issue because Allstate failed to activate the gift card that I had received correctly and referred me back to Allstate.
I contacted Allstate again who then this tells me that it was going to be escalated and I finally hear back from them three days later just to hear them tell me they want a handwritten note and all this other nonsense pictures and a bunch of nonsense because they screwed up. They're trying to refuse. They're trying to avoid paying for the claim I had already been approved for. Walmart stated that it was in fact because the company Allstate did not activate the card that they sent to me correctly so there should have been no issue for refund. Now I'm being dragged through the ringer on a joke of a note over God only knows what but what it seems to be is because they don't want to pay out.
Don't go through these people. They need to be reprimanded for what they're doing. Something needs to be done. I don't know how many people go through this. I've had another issue with them from the beginning over a flat screen television set that I purchased through Walmart and in short through Walmart through Allstate and never ended up getting my claim processed and they I guess my insurance lapsed and I no longer could do anything about it. That's $500 worth of a broken television set that I purchased insurance for that I never got to use because Allstate is a joke.

Capture card stopped working. Allstate warranty covered the item and it was simple to claim the warranty. Check was mailed within a week for a replacement card. I am a happy customer in using their warranty service. I would recommend it to all.
Our doorbell started acting up not doing its job. Always buy the protection plan because they save you. Only thing was we didn't get a full refund but it says we can submit for the rest of the amount. This helps out a lot when needing to return an item quickly & getting another.
I spoke with a rep. to potentially start a claim for my TV that isn't functioning super-well, especially in regard to the internet connection. The rep. was very helpful and got the claim started as well as ran some troubleshooting and resetting in order to assist with the claim submission. The claim was then put into a pending status and we're giving it ~2 weeks to see if the problem is resolved.
I might never ever purchase SquareTrade warranty again.
2) 2 months later the screen only got worse. Had to send it to repair again. Lost valuable time and effort due to this.
3) Asurion on the other hand, paid me the full amount of money with first claim for a similar claim.

The deep fryer I purchased was a good fryer then it just stopped working. It wouldn't not come on. I forgot I had a protection plan. I filed the claim and All-State gave me a option to get the money back in the form of a check or gift card. I choose the gift card and purchased another deep fryer. They made easy to file a claim and I got my e-gift card in no time. Will purchase the protection again.

I had headphones that were broken a few weeks ago. Allstate gave me the money to buy the same ones. Three years ago, I had a pool broken. They did not pay me all the money of the pool, but I got back 85% of the money I paid for it. That is fantastic. For other stuff, I can pass. But two months ago, I bought a K-cup coffee maker. The second one, I bought in Imons. The first one got broken and the company of the coffee maker did nothing. The second one, I put the insurance because if something went bad now, I am covered. It's a cheap price. I pay $4 for a $70 or $100 product. Buy the insurance.
I bought a car valve cover and a two-year warranty with Allstate. I installed the cover on my car and then three days later, I got into an accident and the car got totalled. I was looking at Allstate's accident plans and I saw a subcategory for accidents but it just said breaking. I read through it all and it didn't say anything about that it couldn't have been me turning it in. But then I sent in the claim and I was refunded my money back within three days. It saved me a good $200.
When I needed to use the plan with Allstate, the reps were very quick to respond and act. The work that they did was highly satisfactory. People need to get this one. I don't normally purchase protection plans but with regards to how I knew the item was going to be used, it was worth every penny and then some.
One of the buttons on my son's controller for video games stopped working. We sent it in and they sent it back to us telling us that they fixed two buttons even though one of them was fine and the one they were supposed to fix was still broken. Plus, the one they said they fixed broke a week later. We called them back and they told us that they closed our claim because once we use it, we can't use it anymore. I explained to them that it's the same buttons that are having those issues. And now, the one that they said they fixed even though they don't have to is broken. So, they just agreed to give us a refund. I'm happy at the end. It took a while, but it's fine. They really worked with me through my concerns. I would purchase the warranty again.
We bought a printer at Staples and we bought the extended warranty too. I got the printer fixed but the Staples guy said it might be the print heads. We sent it in and they came back to us the next week and said, "No, it can't be fixed. Here's some money." The following week, we got a check.
I got Allstate for a printer. I had it before and it worked well. They can repair the item or replace it. It's worth it to get the plan.
Allstate SquareTrade was very impressive as they dealt with my Samsung TV going bad. They ended up replacing with like kind and did it fast. Very impressed and happy with their customer service. From reporting the TV outage, excepting new replacement to delivery of new Samsung TV best experience ever.
I use the protection plans offered through Wayfair on most item purchases & do not regret it. They come through for me every time I need it & make the process quick & easy. I highly recommend to everyone that they add the plan to their purchase.
3 days ago I sent in my device for service or replacement. Never got a call or email about the phone. I called today to find out what happen. The rep Abdul was so rude cutting me off saying he don’t have time to wait for me to look for a email he said was sent 2 hours ago. A supervisor got on the call & was wonderful in locating my phone.

I had a protection plan for my headphones, and Allstate helped. I go through the Walmart website, I get an email, and I file my claim. They normally get back to me in a day. They did a payout thing. I ended up getting new headphones.
My initial claim of a faulty, non-functioning, ice maker was never addressed. I communicated w/ Allstate indicating that I would prefer that Combs Service, of Brooksville (a family-owned company that I am familiar with) perform the service call. I have heard nothing from Allstate or Combs Service. The ice maker has returned to normal, making ice, but I am quite disappointed in Allstate's service of my claim. I paid for this coverage and received a cold shoulder.

Allstate Protection Plans handle things in a quick manner. It was a great experience.
I got Allstate’s protection plan on an Apple iPad, a Nintendo Switch and an android tablet. I made claims on all three items and they went good. We don't have very good luck with the Nintendo Switches. I did not purchase a protection plan on the first one I bought a few years ago and it quit working and was non-repairable right after the manufacturer warranty went out. So, when I replaced that one for my daughter, I purchased the protection plan. It got used a couple of times on that Switch and the last time, it was deemed as not repairable. So, they gave the e-gift card so we could replace it with a new one.
Allstate had taken care of a cracked screen on the iPad as well as a charging problem that it had. The android tablet is my eight-year-old daughter's and she dropped it in water. And Allstate sent me a new replacement tablet for that one because I think it was damaged beyond repair. The claims were all done online and it worked perfectly fine. It was simple and straightforward. Once they received the item, I got an email update letting me know that the item was received at the repair facility. Then I got an email update once it was repaired and being sent back with tracking information.
My laptop stopped charging. I contacted the company I had an extended warranty with. They told me to box it up and send it to them. They sent a printed label to put on my box. I dropped it off at a FedEx pickup site. I got an email saying it was picked up the next day. Then a couple days later I got an e-mail that it was delivered. Then a couple days later I go an e-mail saying that it was on the way back to me. It was faster and I really liked it.
Very good customer service and fairly quick response. An A+ company in my book. I would absolutely not say that if I didn't believe it to be true. I usually do not write reviews as I am not usually satisfied with service most of the time. Although the product itself isn't very good, the protection plan and the rapid and accurate response was wonderful. The product is not their fault. It's probably made in China.
