So far I am pleased with the process and I am happy that I made the decision to explore the opportunity of gaining knowledge in Data Science. The support and reminders are great. Class discussions are helpful to me because it enables me to clarify my understanding of the subject matter. I am also pleased with the feedback and lab practices.

I am having such a great experience in college, thanks to all my instructors and staff. They have all been so insightful and helpful. The classes are educational and very self-explanatory. Not only have I managed to maintain my highest G.P.A. in the history of my education, but I have remained interested in the major that I have chosen.

While much of my experience has been positive, the Graduate Portfolio class has been much less than satisfactory. Professors in these classes have a history of being unprofessional and unfair in their grading practices. The class is non-accredited and yet required, and if the professor grades unfairly there is no dispute process. I am hoping that my experience improves in the coming months and the final Graduate Portfolio course I am required to take.

I truly was aiming to receive my degree in accounting. However, the cost for me to pay out of pocket was extremely high. Being that this is an online school my first experience was better than me returning this time in 2024. A lot has changed with the staff and what courses they offer. I have moved on to another school because they have the program. I wanted at an affordable price.

College was something that was more like a dare to myself. I didn’t plan to go to college, I didn’t save up for college and I seriously didn’t think I was college material. Traveling allowed others around me to judge my diction and potential from a non-biased perspective. So, I jumped and found this university while working a part time job in LA, CA. The staff were all professional and had their own unique style, rhythm and strategies of aiding my learning journey.
My the highlight of my walk for my bachelor's my heart was both happy and in a weird type of disbelieve of the discovery of what I couldn’t believe was possible for the right reasons. Unfamiliarity lead me to positive change. A college degree symbolizes that some stereotypes are for the birds. Life is a riddle in some regards. I’m a better version of myself beyond the first of many finish line, and I look forward to whatever possibilities come my way. I didn’t just try this time. Persistence helped me accomplish what I just didn’t think was possible. Until soon life I want more. Thank you for listening.

I wanted to take a moment to share some concerns about my experience in the master's program. Although I’ve consistently earned excellent grades and worked hard throughout the duration of my studies, I feel that my achievements have gone unnoticed by the institution. Separately, I was invited to join the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), which, upon further research, does not appear to be accredited. In fact, numerous sources suggest it may be more of a scam than a legitimate honor society. On another note, I previously reached out for assistance regarding issues with my LinkedIn account but received no response, which further contributed to my frustration.
Additionally, I had a negative experience with one of the professors, and I was surprised to learn that the program does not offer alternative course options. Overall, the experience has felt transactional, rather than focused on genuine learning and growth. Looking back, I wish I had chosen a different school that values and recognizes its high-achieving students and provides better resources and support.

The October billing is still unresolved even though EdAssist stated they sent the payment. I have zero confidence in the voucher system and the billing. I sent back funds from my loan because your system said I was overfunded. I am concerned that my next course will be delayed again so I’ll just pay out of pocket so I can just finish and fight the billing nightmare later.

I love the University of Phoenix because it has allowed me to pursue my dream of higher education. However, there is a need for some improvements. As a student with a disability I have noticed that I might be one student who fell through the crack. The so called academic advisor assigned to me never even bothered to respond to my email. The finance department keeps saying that I owe money but they can't figure out how or why I owe. So, they keep sending payment demands to my email. I recommended a friend to the school and he is currently enrolled but I can't see myself recommending another person to this school.

When I came back to finish my undergraduate degree I stated upfront that I didn’t want to start if I needed to pay out of pocket because I was aware I was near the limit just was not sure if I would be past the limit by the time the program ended. When I got toward the end of the program then I was told I needed to do study.com or pay for classes out of pocket. In addition, my major I came to the school with was discontinued and I tried to do the classes but the classes were set up for teams and I was stuck doing work or trying to do work for a whole team alone. 6 years ago when I started my journey through school I was so worried about how I was going to do it. At that time I was just going for my Bachelor's in Accounting. I was given an opportunity from a leader to join the accounting team for my employer if I went back to school! So, I took the leap and did it! I was a mom of 5 children and have an amazing husband to support my decision. I still worked, went to school, and handled the daily tasks out being a mom.
During the last 6 years I had moved into a higher role at work, changed jobs a few times and went through some hard losses that made things challenging. But in the end I was able to get my Bachelor's in Accounting and continued my education to get my MBA. I again went through some big losses during that program. But still pushed through it. I am so grateful to the school's way of teaching that it allowed me to still have work/school/life balance. It was with every minute spent.

The first year was great with financial aid covering all my educational expenses. Since the changes were made regarding financing by University of Phoenix, I am receiving emails and calls saying I have an overdue balance at the University of Phoenix. I have applied for and received enough loans to cover the entire cost of my education, so I am not happy with being told I have an "overdue balance".
The most recent voicemail I received was on 2/18/2025. I am making monthly payments to Mohela, despite them not being due yet, who has been funding my education. (About $5,000 of my balance as shown is from another school.) So, I still owe some $25,000 out of about $42,000 for this degree, and I am only 18 months in. I was actually advised by the last call from the school - before the last voicemail - to put off my next class (my 2nd residency!) to allow the financial aid money to "catch up". This is not ok, and I am very disappointed with these "changes".

I could not be more disappointed with my time at University of Phoenix. I went for the bachelor's in accounting program online and had nothing but issues. I wanted to take extra courses on the Study.com site they recommended so I was taking them and thought I was doing great. My counselors and advisors would call to check up on me and never said a word about how I was taking the classes twice. It was about two classes in on Study.com that I realized I was learning the same material. I called and they finally admitted they messed up my scheduling. It took WEEKS of phone calls to resolve this.
They only gave me a refund for one class and told me to watch to make sure the classes don’t overlap again. Excuse me? Isn’t that what you are getting paid for? To schedule classes for me? To get the refund was a nightmare and a huge fight to get what was promised to me. You can email teachers with questions and they never respond. The teachers probably don’t even exist. The program was awful and you honestly don’t learn much of anything based on how it is set up. I was already most of the way through and I didn’t want the hassle of transferring to a real school so I finished out my program. They only care about taking your money.

Before the last few weeks, I would have given UOP 5 stars without hesitation. I'm at the point where I need to find preceptors for my clinicals, which has been a disaster so far. The first clinical is psychotherapy. UOP has placed rules stating it has to be with certain credentials and at least where I live in Ohio, this is not common at all!!!! I'm so disappointed because I have found amazing people willing to take me on as a student, even in my own community so it should be such an exciting time but it isn't. When I reached out to the clinical liaison I was lied to and told most students have found preceptors already. I'm in a group chat with most of the students in my class and almost all are having the same difficulty. What's worse is that the Ohio Board of Nursing doesn't have this stipulation. This is a decision UOP made own it's own. I have no idea what to do from here.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my experience with the University of Phoenix. Overall, taking courses was a great experience. The structure of the courses, accessibility of materials, and support from instructors contributed to a positive learning environment. However, I did face some challenges along the way. During my coursework, I fell ill and had to take a sabbatical. Unfortunately, I was required to complete my current week before stepping away, which impacted my ability to perform at my usual level and ultimately led to a lower grade. While I understand the need for structure, it was a difficult situation that I wish had more flexibility.
Additionally, my experience with the Teams portion of the course was disappointing. I was the only active participant on my team, while my peers did not contribute. Despite raising the issue with my instructor, I was informed they could do nothing about it. While I did receive full marks for my participation, the lack of accountability for group work made the experience frustrating. Despite these challenges, I still value my education and appreciate the experience. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback.

The biggest value that I received from the University is the feedback I got from the professors. Being in the industry for 25 years, the feedback on current and emerging technology was invaluable. The information that I have from my tenured experience in the IT field needs that type of reflection, consideration of alternative ideas, and direct feedback from what I'm thinking and what I produce in the assignments. It guides me into thinking a different way with my current knowledge, the new information, and content I receive in this Master's level curriculum. Although there was a miscommunication that the Academic office admitted, they also said that issue almost never happens. They entered my original starting date in 2023 and then stated that no courses were actually generated under my profile when I went to start courses. The rest of the process was mostly fluid.
There was a little discrepancy when talking to each employee in Admissions in their understanding of what I needed to give to my company to show official grades, prior to graduation. This minor explanation or posting what the higher level Admissions staff stated to get me the official information I needed was not a big deal. But just for feedback, the rest of the admissions may need to know what the higher level admissions was already of. Again this is minor. I needed that official email sent rather than me being able to do any of that process myself. Again this excludes getting my grades once I graduated. That I could do myself. But again, the feedback from the technical teachers is invaluable and a great educational encounter that has guided my thinking about my career in a different and certainly more positive way.
Also, the 2nd term course advocate (I can't remember their title for life of me LOL), was very supportive in informing me of deadlines while dealing with a lady with a very checkered past that was affecting my son's life. So, that topic slowed me down in the 2nd and 3rd terms. The faculty person that supports us with general college procedural stuff in the 2nd term was very supportive once he understood what I was saying. Also the teachers didn't hold a grudge against me for the time I couldn't use in parts of the semester when I had to go to court as Plaintiff to keep my son safe. So, that was really helpful and helpful to graduate. I didn't get any special treatment and didn't want any. It was just refreshing that the instructors didn't hold that against me. They just continued to give great technical feedback. That was ideal and the way I view the University of Phoenix. Thank you very much!!

I went to University of Phoenix back in 2012 when they had a campus here in Las Vegas Nevada. I was disappointed to find out there was no campus when I came back in 2024; however, my experience has been positive even though I can't make those meaningful connections like I did back in 2012. They recently made changes to how assignments are submitted and I find it discouraging. I would like to be able to focus more on the actual assignment rather than how to submit the assignment. I finished the class and had roughly 2 weeks before the next class started.
After a few days I received an email letting me know that I was at risk of being dropped, followed by an exit email with instructions on how to repay my student loans. I did not appreciate this especially since there was nothing I could do since there was no class. Other than these few hiccups I have had a very positive experience. I get more assistance from IT than I do my instructor and I say this because if I'm unable to submit an assignment successfully there is no use in doing the assignment. I would have flunked out by now without the support of IT. With a hybrid class, I am required to attend class (in person at the campus or through video) 1 evening every week. The absolute BEST part of the University of Phoenix is one of the instructors named Vernon **. I will remember him for the rest of my life and I will always consider him to be the absolute best teacher I have ever had. I don't even think he realizes how much he has helped me and how big of an impact he has had on my life. In my personal life, I am surrounded by negativity. Negative words, negative actions.. and it can be exhausting. I have always tried to be a positive person but when someone tells you over and over again that you are wasting your time, you are bound to fail, nothing good will ever come out of this.. you begin to wonder if maybe they are right. It really starts to weigh on you after a while.
So many times I came so close to giving up. If it wasn't for Vernon **, I would have quit already. He always tells me what an awesome job I am doing and he can't wait until we graduate so he can come cheer us on during the graduation ceremony. He is this shining light of positivity and hope which I desperately needed. I have learned so much from him. He makes class fun. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his students and their success. I got to have him for 2 classes I'm a row and I think it was because God knew that it was what I needed. Well, 2023 I began my Masters and it’s been a horrible experience. Staff is far from supportive, doesn’t call you or email you when they schedule to do so and I am finding they are continually telling different stories and I do not trust their judgment or counsel.

Fast forward to July my second disbursement is due and they send out a letter saying that because of recent changes with FAFSA funds would be delayed. They claim it's because of changes to 24/25 policies. However, my loans were in my 23/24 package. I contact the school and they say the Pell grant is from 24/25 even though studentaid.gov says it's all from 23/24.
Now the school says the changes to 24/25 means that the classes are billed course by course. Since my loans are 23/24 that disbursement will cover 4 classes upfront. I said I thought the policy stated course by course billing and their response is, "It is course by course for your Pell grant." So instead of disbursing all funds that federal aid sent the school they are holding the amount over the 4 classes and giving it to me in 4 checks. The upside is that it worked within my schedule. I work many hours and the freedom to go at my own pace, was nice. I did not get an education though, I only got a degree.
There are no instructors, there are facilitators that post assignments and then "grade" them. At least a quarter of the time they were not graded correctly and I had to ask for them to be adjusted. The majority of the time, they were not graded in a timely manner. If you got stuck on a problem, you had to wait at least 24 hours if not longer to receive a response. If you are good with completely teaching yourself all of the material and will never have to ask questions, and have the time to make sure all your work was graded correctly, this is the "school" for you!!

I started classes on December 12, 2023, on a Tuesday, and each week, ends every Monday, that is how each week is organized, and each class takes 5 weeks to accomplish and earn 3 credits. So far I have not one complaint about the UOPX as they have been nothing but supportive and I feel all the classes are scheduled great for someone that has a life outside of school. I love this school and I love this program. I feel all the negative reviews that I have read on this site could have been avoided. They would have paid more attention to how online college works. You can't compare them to traditional colleges because that's not fair to its set up totally differently. I hated Community College. That was a waste of time and money. I love This school and I would recommend it to anyone.

This misuse of funds and misuse of protocols for code of conduct and allowing outsiders to influence the way they push students out the school and professors that make comments like JUST DO IT! Also allowing representative to manipulate the students because they are upset about the students' refunds. They are extremely prejudice.

Avoid throwing away your money! I turned in every assignment on time, but the professor's grading was extremely rigorous. There were complaints from over half of the class, but the school took no action. Complaint tickets were initially opened but were promptly closed on account of insufficient information. I am looking into this further. If anyone can help me open a case against the school, please reach out to me.

I started this school 15 months ago and it started with my calling them asking if they had classes that would help me learn how to grow my home business. I was told yes, and I started classes in July of 22. It is now October of 23. I have had a total of 3 classes that has gone towards my so-called business degree. I have borrowed 40,000 in a little over of a year for these ** classes. When I called to complain about the whole 3 classes that goes towards what I'm supposed to be learning, compared to the 15 classes that I have already taken, I was told that over the next 4 years, I need to take 69 ** classes to the whole 19 classes I need for the business degree plus the media certificate I need. This has been an epic waste of time and an even bigger waste of money! I could have gone to YSU and spent half this for a full 2 years! Avoid this school at all costs! Trust me in the end, it will cost you.

I registered with UOP and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration. I was told they offered job placement assistance. After graduation I started applying at all the local hospitals in the Kansas City Mo area and my local town as well. After 6 months of not getting anywhere I called UOP job placement services and was told that because I didn't live in Arizona or anywhere that they had campuses I did not qualify for their assistance. I contacted the Department of Education and put all my student loans in deferment which is where they still are because I can't afford them. My student debt is over $125,000 that's double what my mortgage is.

On-line graduate classes at the UOP were both expensive and difficult. The group assignments were nearly impossible to complete because students were located in all parts of America, and it was nearly impossible to get everyone on the same page at the same time. It was also extremely difficult to get to talk to my professor in a one-on-one discussion. I also had difficulty obtaining the on-line textbook that I purchased for one of the classes that I took, thereby making it impossible to complete my assignments. I would never recommend the UOP to anyone, nor would I ever take another UOP class!

Now I have an unnecessary student loan bill for choosing a school that lied to me so I could have enrolled. I loved the online classes and working in a group. However, again I am at a financial loss and the student loan forgiveness programs want you to pay thousands before they would assist and that is not guaranteed that more than half the bill will be taken care of.

I enrolled for the nursing program and was told by the enrollment counselor that there were not any accreditation issues. This was a lie and found out later on in the program. There were some faculty there to help you but somehow they slowly began to dissipate. The replacement staff along with the director was toxic. The school along with the director held myself back from taking my boards even though my grades were good and finished all my requirements. The staff along with their 3rd party "vendor" were railroading me and hindering my success. It was definitely personal and had nothing to do with my performance and till this day I do not know the reasons that it was done.
The University was not helpful in resolving this at the lower level and almost seem as they didn't care. Needless to say I had to get legal help to get my degree and the authorization to sit for my boards. It took me 6 months for this whole process. However, I still remained on top of my game and passed my boards despite the time and restraints the University tried to place on me. If it wasn't for my legal help I would still be at standstill with this school. This was a nightmare and I am glad it is over. Please do yourself a favor and run from this school or any For-Profit School if you can avoid it. They are not about the student but for money. I know people who were in the same situation I am in at UPOX and other For Profit School.

I had to work hard and do a lot of research and reading. UOPHX taught me so much and made me stand out at work when I put my degree to work. I learned so much and was prepared for today's world. UOPHX is very advanced in developing their curriculum and is aware of things that are needed in the world today. When it comes to technology and being a part of today's administration role UOPHX is the place to go. In order to get a good education you have to put your work in. You are always going to get out of what you put in something in whatever you do. There is good and bad in everything you do.

I am just here to give my opinion on being enrolled at UOPHX. It is very different from what I am used to. I am a person who loves in person teaching. Being independent is usually rough for me cos my it’s hard for me to stay on task. But this was a game changer. I was worried about being overwhelmed with school work plus my regular job. What made me choose this route of schooling was the convenience of doing the work at my own free time rather than fit my life and schedule around having to drive to a school and fit all that in a schedule and pay for parking and all. Ugh headache. I only take 1 class every 5 weeks so I am focused on doing the work for that class only. This was a HUGE bonus for me.
I have read some reviews where classes put you in teams for projects and yes it can be tough but like everything it’s all about communication. I’ve had great teams in most classes where EVERYONE pulled their weight and only one class where there wasn’t much communication with my team and was forced to do most of the work. But honestly that has also happened at a brick and mortar college class for me so it was no different other than the teacher automatically picking the teams for us at UOPHX. The instructors have been great. I have always been in contact with instructors whenever I had a question about something but there is also a class forum to ask questions where the instructor or peers can answer questions for you. I feel like I’ve gotten a quality education so far.
I’m practically done with my Gen Ed and by Oct will start phase one of the teachers' program. I’m very happy with everything and grateful to have a great counselor whom I can ask questions about the program with or even about financial questions. While, yes, it may not be for everyone and maybe I’ve just lucked out but you do get what you put in and I’ve put in a lot of work to get this far and it’s been an amazing experience so far. Hope this has helped in making a decision to join. There is no better time than the present to make a change for the better. Good luck!!!

Now They could not fail me lower because I was an active teacher. So please avoid this college. They are EVIL as HELL and only want your money. I have been trying since 2000 to transfer the 35 units of that 41 unit program into another degree just to graduate and get on with my life. Do your research before you sign your life away. I refuse to pay them $397. I know it sounds petty and dumb, but right is right and wrong is wrong. They are preying on innocent students who want more out of life. They only care about numbers. Stay away. Once you sign those loan papers, your livelihood is at stake.

20 years ago I pursued a lifelong dream of earning a master's degree and becoming an educator at the college of education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). I had just finished my bachelor's degree in Sociology and was still actively taking classes in the UCCS philosophy school because of my drive for knowledge and to better myself. I initially went into the Masters program at UCCS for sociology, but decided very quickly that I wanted to actually teach future generations - not just study about it and write critiques and social essays about it to small groups of academics. I Switched graduate majors and entered the school of education.
I should've known that something was amiss when the very first professor (who shall remain nameless and is now thankfully retired from the department) told everyone in our first class on the first day that only about 10% of us "deserved" to become teachers. Even though I had a terrible first impression, I still stuck with a program for another semester before concluding that the UCCS college education just wasn't going to give me the kind of education I needed to make a difference in the world.
So, Being the kind of person who had been running his own business with his father for close to 10 years, I decided to look elsewhere to earn the necessary credentials to enter the education profession. Enter the University of Phoenix. It can't be stressed enough: at the time this college was absolutely on the cutting edge of higher education. It was able to deliver curriculum and credits in a hybrid model online where you would do your work a couple days a week in person and still have to complete extra work at night with groups.
I have to say that although the University of phoenix has received much deserved negative scrutiny for being a "diploma mill" in its schools of business etc..., I found the education masters program in Colorado Springs to be highly complex and rather difficult to complete. In fact, of the two hundred or so students in my graduating class of 2004 only about half actually completed the Masters. Honestly, the program was hard as hell because it was designed to be just as difficult and valid of an educational training program as any four-year university or graduate school, but it was marketed to us working professionals who already had been busy working in actual careers for a few years. I remember completing HUNDREDS of hours of observational practicum as well as student teaching before being credentialed.
There is a caveat to this story. I have to say that since the early 2000's, the UCCS college of education has vastly improved - and I am now friends with a number of different faculty members in the UCCS Ed Dept. Although as with any University there is still "dead weight," I would rate it much higher NOW than a degree from Univ of Phoenix. in education. That said, in the early 2000s the University of Phoenix was a much superior education program to UCCS. And I must say the proof is in the pudding. Since earning my master's degree as well as my principal's license back in 2004, I've gone on to enjoy a very successful career in education. I saw my salary raise each year because of my credentials earned at Univ. of Phoenix and also had opportunities open up to me as a college lecturer. None of that would've been possible if I had simply gone from my teaching license as UCCS was offering back then.
As far as the structure of the Master's program at the University of Phoenix, It took me approximately 4 1/2 years to complete. After this I was identified as an educational leader by the now retired director of the program Dr. Genevieve ** PhD. and I went on to earn my principles license. I spent approximately $25,000 getting these credentials, which truly allowed me to realize my dream of becoming a teacher and future influencer. When I look back at it now, I realize that the University of Phoenix was an unbelievably "Best Buy" value for what I gained and what I actually paid. I was able to secure Stafford Loans at 1.625% interest. At UCCS I was looking at taking out loans in excess of $50,000 and that interest rates that were closer to 5%. The financial choice was clear back in the early 2000s.
Today I must say it is clearly a different story, but I would never stop anyone from earning a degree at either institution. Investing in one's self is truly priceless and you will want to shop around as a frugal, financially shrewd consumer to make sure that you're getting the best value for your hard earned dollar. Clearly, anyone reading my review will need to do their own research to make sure they are making the best financial move. But I will simply say that any prospective student should visit the campus as well as speak to the faculty before making any educational decision.

I am currently an online student at UOP. The option to do online school has helped balance my work life, mom life, church life, and school life. I honestly think if I didn't have the option to do online school, I probably wouldn't have pursue getting my degree. What I like about the program is how it is outlined, you do one class at a time instead of 3 or 4 classes through a course of a semester or quarter. The 5 week course allows me to concentrate on one subject at a time instead of 3 or 4. Although the course is accelerated through 5 weeks, I'm able to put my attention to 1 course at a time.
I know there are a lot of negative comments about the new blackboard. Honestly, I think it works a lot better and gives me less time reading discussions and concentrating more on the course reading. But like all things, you need to apply yourself and put in the work. As a manager, to me this shows dedication and drive to be able to get through these classes. However, online school isn't for everyone. Make sure you're doing your research before committing to any school. I spent almost a year before I decided on taking my degree program with UOP.

Hi All,
With all due respect to all negative reviewers, I would simplify my experience with the university by few words "I have achieved the target", which is having an accredited degree allows me to apply to higher positions in any company irrespective of the name of the university, as once you apply to any position, your capabilities will speak not the name of your university! If you are looking to "branding" your certificate, believe me, that will not do any help as the final word will be ALWAYS to "your experience and what you really know", nobody cares about "from where you have come!" They care about "where you are now".

Every course now has team assignments where you are thrown in with a random group of people from all over the country who also have jobs, families, and are in different time zones. I was reading the online review early this evening on this site. I was discouraged by some of what I was reading. What al lot of folks fail to understand is if you are a student, seeking employment for a specific job. You need to do some homework. I am currently a UOPX student, working on a MA in education. I called my home state DOE to ensure the degree I was seeking leads to obtaining a teaching license in the state. I spoke with teachers I know and they said I am good to go. The issue with with the reviews mostly are people just not doing their due diligence and checking and ensuring the degree is a match for the career they are pursuing. Furthermore, if you go to school, you have to pay. If you don't most likely you are noting going to like the person that calls you to let you know you owe money. That doesn't mean a school is a bad school because they expect people to pay their bills.
Also, its true UOPX had some issues with blackboard, which are now resolved. The program works well now and is better in many ways than the old program, it just takes some getting use too that's all. Lastly, degrees from UOPX are excepted by all universities and employers. UOPX is an accredited university. If it were not accredited. You could not even apply for a federal student loan or use Military TA or the GI Bill. Some of reviews on here are simply ignorant. They don't realize that the programs are accredited, therefore meet a standard, which obviously a few people could not meet the standard and moved onto another school, leaving a trail of negative comments. Most likely not realizing that all that complaining gets back to employers, which tarnishes a reputation of school for the simply fact that people are ignorant.
I am almost done with my graduate degree. I have no issues and the course materials and content are relevant and meet HLC accreditation standards. I will be employable when I graduate, so long as my resume and self are prepared to join the workforce. A degree is not guarantee employment in itself. You still have to do the things employers expect out of future employees.

The thing about online schools is that it's up to the person to truly apply themselves. That is while the student is in school and after they graduate. I have read a lot of people saying businesses don't take their education at UOP serious, but it is your job to make them take you serious. Keep calling apply yourself and don't give up. You worked hard for that degree and when they finally give you a chance prove them that they are wrong. I finish school in June and have a job in IT lined up. UOP reports 57% job success after graduation. I hear all kinds of stories from everyone that finishes school saying they can't find a job in their field for this or that excuse but it's just that an excuse!

Firstly, classes through the online program at UOP are kind of a complete joke. I did not learn a single thing. It all felt like busywork. Secondly, they are incredibly expensive for what they are offering. I withdrew from the university during the first week of a course (at the start of the week, way before it ended) and they charged me nearly $400 for the class - that I didn't even start. It's incredibly frustrating and they will not waive that. They do offer a payment plan if that's what you're looking for.
Additionally, professors are not helpful and take forever to respond, and by the time they do, the assignment due date has already passed. There are so many "filler" classes that had no purpose. The only good thing about the program is that each class is only 5 weeks, but you don't get any breaks, besides a week in winter. I feel like if you're looking for an easy but expensive way out, then this program is for you. If not, go somewhere else! Do not buy into this fake program.
