I shipped a package on June 30th, 2009 via USPS and paid extra for a tracking number. Package was never delivered and was never found even though there is a tracking number. The item was shipped to an eBay buyer that eventually filed a complaint against me for not receiving the item (Dell Laptop) and ended up winning the complaint through PayPal. I ended up losing $500 (items worth) as the funds were taken out of my account for refund.

The post office stole or lost my mail for the past three weeks and failed to deliver it. I made several attempts to get my mail and they have neither returned the mail nor forwarded it to me. I lost paychecks, credit card bills, missed payments, lost subscription magazines and general communication as a result.

Tracking number ** - This package was last scanned in Hazelwood, MO on July 12 and now has just disappeared. I have sent several emails to the USPS. Their only response is if the package is insured (it is), then file a claim on it. I have sent several emails asking how an 8-pound box full of cross stitch kits could just disappear. The last email I received from the post office stated as far as they are concern this is a closed case and none of my emails or calls will be returned. Please help me find this package.

The woman that was at the counter, I do not know her name, refused a package because she claimed it was too full. This was a flat rate envelope, and yes, I filled it very close to to capacity, but it was well under the stated 70 lbs.

I had a $600 camera I purchased off Amazon used. The person shipping would only use USPS. The camera made it from Bronx, NY to Decatur, IL. It arrived on 7/27/2009. I contacted my local post office and asked if I could pick it up (I live across the street) .They stated no. I had to wait for it to be 'attempted' to be delivered. And they assured me it would be delivered the next day. Well, it came and went and no package. I called them and they again assured me it would be delivered the next day. Again, it came and went.
When I called them back, they stated they did now know where the package was and would contact me when they knew more. They called me back and told me it was being shipped to Bloomington, IL about 30 minutes north of me. The supervisor (Allen) I spoke with stated he did not know why it was going there but would see if he could get it stopped so I could just drive up there and get it. While waiting for Allen to call me back, I made a joke to my friend that my camera is probably hiding out in Chicago.
About that time, the phone rang and Allen informed me for some reason my camera had been shipped to Elk Grove, IL which is near Chicago. He once again did not know why and when he attempted to call the processing center it was at, no one would answer the phone. He told me that from the center, it would be returned to Decatur. Well it wasn't. It is currently in the middle of Missouri in a Podunk post office. I'm currently in the process of trying to get my camera redirected to home. The USPS really need to take some tips from UPS and FedEx and get tracking bar codes on all packages, so they know where they are at all times. If anything worse should happen, I'll let you know.

My wife and I went away for our wedding and honeymoon. We decided to put a hold on our mail from July 1, 2009 to July 26, 2009. A friend of ours tended to the plants while we were away, but after the first week, the mail did not stop. Our friend had to call and stop the mail. When we returned to the US on July 25, 2009, our mail did not resume. Despite numerous calls to the Post Office and a visit, our mail has not resumed. In addition, the mail that was held has been lost, including a Baby-Shower invitation, a wedding invitation, and several of our wedding gifts.

I had bought a Sims 3 game from GameStop at the nearby mall. I had problems with the disk but the warranty on the GameStop receipt had run out. I had to use the mail to send it back to Electronic Arts for them to replace it. I had two days left before their warranty ran out so I sent it through the USPS First Class. Amazingly, three weeks had passed and I was worried because EA had told me when I called that I should have received a new disk 48 hours after I mailed it. I called the post office and a man picked up. He said hello and then I explained my problem. He said that their phones were down and promptly hung up. I was amazed and now I have wasted $60 on a game that I don't have! I have the pre-order case and I registered the game on the Sims 3 site so as proof that I bought the game.

I received 2 items that I had ordered as "free trials" on the internet (I was to pay only 99 cents shipping). Very shortly, I was charged for the items, on my credit card. I called (and realized this was a scam), and disputed the charges on my credit card. I was told I must return the products, and to get a tracking number, when I mailed them if I didn't want to be charged, $49.95, and $87.13 for the two products. I immediately returned the items by USPS and paid for a delivery confirmation receipt. The package was to go to Hollywood, Florida.
Two days later, I checked, and got information that it had been delivered to Hermiston, OR. I immediately went to the main post office and calls were made, but they could not find out where it was. I was told Rachel, the supervisor, would check into it, and would call me. She hasn't. I expect that I will be charged the $143.12, because the post office failed to deliver the package to the Hollywood, FL address. Can I file a claim against the post office? If so where? Any help you can offer will be appreciated.

On July 28, 2009, I received a letter (dated the same day) in which I was present at my residence. I went inside and telephoned Pete ** in regards to the letter about my dog being involved in a situation that I know was false. I believe that the postman has either mistaken my dog with another dog or he is discriminating against me for some reason or another. As I called Pete, I asked him to describe the dog that was involved but he refused to describe the said dog in question. He said I had to describe my dog (I felt this was wrong, to have me describe my dog.).
I did reveal that my dog was small, and a friendly dog. He mentioned that the dog was vicious and bit the postman. I know on July 28, 2009, my dog was not outside (the mailman came approx. 10:30-11:00 am). I was inside my home, asleep with my dog on the couch, with my 4 children. And, I know that on July 27, 2009, my dog was not outside either due to an accident in my yard. The Fresno police dept. was investigating a vehicle that they were in pursuit with that hit my tree in my yard (I live at a dead end street.).
Since Mr. ** didn't either know the description of said dog or didn't want to reveal any information to me, I attempted to try to find other sources to help me with this situation. On these attempts, I was given many different stories. I cannot change my breed of dog nor color markings. I contacted a female at the toll free number in the phone book who called Pete for a description of the dog involved and she called me back and said he mentioned it was a small dog (no color, no markings, and no description of a color of the collar). She said for me to go ahead and call the postal overhead supervisor, so I did (on the 29th of July).
She returned my call on July 29 with the same information as the prior lady and that he bit the postman, and I mentioned to her I told Pete it was a small dog already. She said she would call me back again. On July 31, 2009, she returned my call again (she stated she called on 7-30-09 but sorry, I didn't receive any calls nor missed calls or voice mails on my cell phone from her) and the only information she gave was the dog was a small dog again, and it was a white dog. My dog is white, brown, and tan. She said that I had to describe my dog as well. I mentioned to her it was a Shih Tzu and yes, he had white on him but they can't say if the dog had any disgusting marks. She mentioned the postman pepper sprayed the dog (my dog was not pepper sprayed).
I then had a new groomer groom my dog and he has been in business for many years. According to him, but this was the 1st time I used him as a groomer. He said that had my dog been pepper sprayed, it would have left a sticky film on him and caused an irritation to his skin. I had him verify that my dog had no such traces of pepper spray and that my dog is not vicious. I can have more people verify that this is true: Christian with Comcast Cable, as well as many others who will verify it, the PG&E meter readers, the phone services technicians and maintenance repair services and the Fresno Police Dept. officers who were out on 7-27-09.
Please, I honestly believe that this postman, as well as the post offices, needs to be really investigated and questioned. My dog was not out on 7-28-09 nor on 7-27-09.

I put in a change of address two weeks before moving and I have not been receiving mail at my new address. I called the post office and asked for a supervisor. I spoke with Santiago who stated that he would have someone check and see if my mail is still stored in the mailbox at my old location and call me. He never called. I never heard from him. I then called and spoke with someone else who claimed to be a supervisor, Adrian, who informed me that Santiago is the person who is on the route at my old address, but he supervises on the weekend. At this point, it's Wednesday so I went to my old address and requested to borrow my old mailbox key. I went into the box and it appears that he did make adjustments to my mailbox to remind him not to put mail in the box, but obviously returned to sender all of the mail that was in the box. It is going on two weeks and I have not received any mail from my previous address to date.

On July 16th, 2009, I mailed a package at my local Post Office counter with the delivery confirmation #**, insurance VH ** US. Because this package contained a pair of diamond earrings I was returning, I also purchased insurance and direct signature required. Here is the status as of today: Item arrived at 6:36 am on July 18, 2009 in North Hollywood, CA 91605. Arrival at unit on July 18, 2009 at 6:36 am, North Hollywood, CA 91605. Processed through Sort Facility on July 18, 2009 at 2:08 am, Santa Clarita, CA 91383. Acceptance on July 16, 2009 at 10:41 am, Panama City Beach, FL 32407. Electronic shipping info received on July 15, 2009.
This package arrived at the Laurel Canyon Post Office in California and vanished. I have not received any satisfactory answers as to why or how this could have happened and as a consumer, I feel like the Post Office is a closed corporation against anyone finding out why something like this could happen. Since it's 3000 miles away from where I am located, it's not like I can drop in and ask them personally and they know this. On July 23rd, 2009, I called my local Post Office and they called California for me and spoke with the delivery supervisor on duty at the time, Ed ** and he said for me to call him and he would check into the circumstances. I tried calling him on July 24th and was told that he was not there but would return on Tuesday by a Marina at 4:42 CST and she asked me if she could help me. I told her that I was trying to locate a package which had arrived at their PO but had not been delivered. She asked for the tracking number, looked it up and then asked for my telephone number and said she would speak with the carrier and call me back.
I again tried to call on Tuesday, July 28th for Ed ** but was told that he was not there but would be there on Wednesday the 29th. On Wednesday the 29th, I called and asked to speak with Ed ** and was put on hold for him for 5 minutes. Someone came back on the line and asked if he had picked up and I said no and they put me back on hold for 10 more minutes, at which point, I hung up and redialed because I am paying for this call and I asked not to be put on hold since I am calling long distance, and I again asked to speak to Ed. The person that answered said that Ed is not there and would not be there until next week and I said that I had been put on hold for him two times already and why wasn't I told that he wasn't there then? I then explained that I had just been assured the day before that he would in fact be scheduled to work on Wednesday and that I would like to speak with him and that he was expecting my call.
This person then said, "This is Marina and Ed is not here. He is on vacation and he will not be here until next week." I then said, "Marina, I spoke with you last week about a package that I was trying to track and you said you would look into it and call me back but I was supposed to speak with Ed about it." She then again asked me for the information and put me on hold and came back and said she had no more information on it. I asked if she ever contacted the carrier and I don't think she did. She then told me I needed to contact my local Consumer Affairs office and asked me if I wanted the number. I told her I did not and hung up.
My husband overheard this whole conversation since it was on the speaker phone and he just laughed and said Marina did not want me to talk to Ed since she was wearing my diamond earrings. I just wanted to speak with someone with some authority that could explain how a package could go missing or if any attempt had been made to locate it. The is what the package contained: brand new, never worn, 14K white gold studs 1.57CT purchased in December for $1250. I was returning them to the person I bought them from since the screw backs were damaged and she was going to replace them.

I had a poster tube destined for Norcross, GA. Not only was it rerouted to Columbus, OH, it was also physically delivered to an address there. I purchased a delivery confirmation and when the recipient still hadn't received it, I looked the information up. How it was actually delivered is beyond me. I spoke to a supervisor in Columbus who did some checking but could not give me a solid reason as to why it arrived there (which I could understand if it was caught and rerouted at that point) or why it was scanned as delivered.
The tube had no other markings except a large font computer-printed address label with a clear tape covering it. The zip codes were nowhere near similar. The USPS has been giving me the runaround for almost two weeks, and no one is accepting responsibility. They are actually defensive about their postal carrier, who, by their own admission, actually made the delivery without looking at the address it was supposed to go to!
Without purchased insurance, the USPS has no motivation or care to resolve the situation. This is not a lost or damaged package. It is a clear case of USPS negligence. With postage rates going up every 6 months, despite relative stability of gas prices, I don't see any improvement to their services and don't want to shoulder the increased rates due to their loss of profitability.

I put a stop mail delivery request via email to the USPS.com. I received my confirmation number and everything was fine, that was on 07/23/2009. On 07/24/2009, I was told that my vacation which was to be for two weeks was cancelled. I went back to USPS.com to edit my request to recommence the delivery of my mail, which was to take place the next business day, 07/24/2009. Today and 7 requests later, I still have no mail being delivered. The infamous "helpline" was worthless and should be considered an embarrassment to the postal service. I call the helpline everyday as well as sending 2 to 3 emails a day in order to get my mail delivered.
The local post office where my mail is delivered from does not accept phone calls. The message refers you to the US post office 800 number. Can you believe the carelessness and the ignorance of these people? All I wanted is to have my mail delivered. Whatever happened to nor winter, rain, snow, sleet, heat will prevent the US mail from getting through. I guess these days, that must mean FedEx or UPS.

I purchased chicken eggs from www.eggbid.com and spent like $74.00 for eggs and shipping via Priority Mail (no Insurance)! I called the post office on Friday when they were due in and personally talked to the post master (Troy). He stated they were not in yet but would keep his eyes open for them. This was on Friday, and the computer showed them scanned into the Fremont office at 9 am that day. I called again on Saturday with the same response. I explained to him that we have a physical address and P.O. Box. They were shipped to the physical address, and were to be clearly marked in bold writing with our phone number to call us upon arrival. Well, I called back on Monday. Again, I was told they were not there! He assured me that he had everyone looking out for these eggs, and we would get a phone call as soon as they arrived. So again, I called back on Tuesday and was told they had been there since Friday, but got "put into the populated mail". What the heck does that mean?
We paid for priority mail which should have been delivered by Friday, which it was, but your post office lost it and we did not get in until Tuesday afternoon. Needless to say, the chicken eggs went too long for the incubation period and none of them were any good! $74.00 down the drain. Thanks, post office. Troy at the post office felt very badly about this matter and said it will never happen again! Well, about 3 or 4 weeks later, my husband wants to try this again! Same seller, but this time, $80.00, and we call the post office prior to shipping arrangements! I talked to Troy at Fremont post office, and he assured us this time it would not happen again and that shipping priority over express would not be necessary! He would personally see to that.
Well the package came in, but for some reason, when they shipped it, there was postage due (which the seller swears is an error). So I went to the post office to get the package as soon as I get the call. Line of customers was about 15 people and there was one employee at the desk. Another post master peeked his head out the door and asked if anyone is there just to pick up package. So I said, "Yes, I'm here to pick up chicken eggs." The lady behind me informed me that she has a "chickery" so we begin our "chicken and chicken egg talk." Next thing I know, the man that went to get the package yells, "Hey, there is postage due. You will have to wait in line," and then slams the box sideways down on the back counter! The lady behind me says, "I sure hope those were not your eggs!" Well, of course, they were!
The box was clearly marked in dark, red, bold writing on every side with word "fragile" and arrows up! Please explain to me how the post office cannot be held responsible for their actions. We should not have to pay additional $17.00 plus for insurance as the post office needs to do their job correctly. Holding packages days after the delivery date, cracking and ruining the eggs should fall on the post office's shoulders! I'm requesting a full reimbursement for both of these items! $74.00 + $80.00 = $154.00. I got nowhere with the local level or the "supervisor". I will also add that it took several phone calls back and forth from one person to another. Everyone felt this was not their problem to listen to. I was very disappointed. Based on your prompted attention to this matter, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

A small package was mailed to me from Germany under registered mail on 5/2/09. I was able to track it on the USPS website until it reached Customs in New York on 5/4/09. Then on, I waited over a month and nothing showed up. In late June 2009, the seller notified the German post office on my behalf and an inquiry was filed with USPS about the missing package. A letter of inquiry was sent to me asking if I received the package or not. I mailed back the inquiry stating, "No, I did not." Since then, I have not heard anything further from USPS about the missing package nor received anything in the mail.
Today, 7/27/09, I called their international tracking and confirm hotline only to have the post office worker tell me that, “You can only request further information about this package through the German post office." I do not live in Germany and this is a great inconvenience for me, especially when USPS themselves admitted (through their tracking website) that the package is already in US Customs in NY. The worker told me over the phone that I cannot do anything further about this because it is only a registered mail item and cannot be tracked further. What is the point of paying the extra registered mail fee only to have USPS hold no responsibility over mail they lost? In fact, the worker adamantly claimed the package never made it to the US until I pointed out to her that I only knew the package arrived to New York through the USPS website.

They managed to give me the papers that were inside the letter but not the contents that had been in the letter. It made me very mad because I had been awaiting this letter for 2 weeks. And I just found out that I had gotten the letter in a condition which appeared like someone had opened it down the middle as if someone were to read what was inside. My husband printed, paid for, and got his business envelopes (eight in all), ready at his home office. I needed to mail a priority package, and so he wanted to take his packages inside the post office to make sure they were scanned, as a client was waiting for them. He usually has the post office pick them up at the house, but as we recently moved, and the nearest post office is conveniently right next to the post office, we went together. At our old post office, they have a do-it-yourself station, which I would normally use, but not at this station.
First off, there were more than 10 people in line, with only 2 clerks there. Then, one of the clerks was talking and socializing after the transaction with another customer, delaying the line further. When we finally arrived at the clerk, she had no idea what to do with the envelopes my husband had, and he told her they were already paid for and addressed. She spent about 10 minutes in the back, while the line kept growing, and finally emerged with a supervisor. I don't know the supervisor or the clerk's name, but the time was 2:24 p.m., and the clerk's number is **.
This happened today, July 22, 2009. The transaction number was **, if that will help, and the supervisor was a truly unpleasant woman with long blond hair. The clerk and the supervisor told us (they both were talking at the same time, so it was at times difficult to make out), that the zip code was not their zip code (they have a slightly different code than ours, but we live less than two miles from their building). They said they would take my husband's packages "today," but they have to account for their "window time," and that we are "required" to use their zip next time.
Let me just say, there will not be a next time. Neither my husband nor I felt like getting into it with them then, but those two are the epitome of what customer service should not be like. I don't enjoy being spoken to like a child, and even if there is some "rule" about zip codes (which is silly, because if we dropped them off in the box outside, someone from that office still has to scan the packages in), there are certainly more nice and pleasant ways to make this known to the customer. I did go online to the website at the bottom of the receipt for my package that I mailed, but it is not specific, only addressed checked boxes, and will do nothing to improve customer service. I know it is a governmental agency, but it is still a customer-oriented business, and they should learn how to treat customers.

I have put in numerous complaints at this office in Seneca Falls and the post service complaint people online about not receiving very important mail and the fact that my mail has been put in other apt. boxes when my correct address is on all the mail. I just got done with a complaint last week; that is why this today is so hard to believe. In the past, my husband has not received his medication that was sent to him and he is a cancer patient from the VA in Canandaigua . Also so you understand what has led up to this, we had paperwork from the VA delivered to the neighbor's box - this is a common occurrence here with us. I spoke to Dawn at this office a few days ago. She said she would handle it - she gave me a sticker to put on my box to tell the mailman to pay closer attention to what box the mail is going into and swore to me it wouldn't happen again.
Well, today was the last straw for me. After going through all this and being promised it won't happen anymore, four pieces of my mail was put in my neighbor's box - he is apt **. I am ** and the right address was on my mail. I am to the point where I just don't know what to do. That is why I am hoping you can help me . I am very upset today about this happening again because the mail that was delivered next door today was a check for me to move in a week and without, I couldn't move and it was not in my box but the neighbors. And all I am doing now is thanking God he is honest and brought it over to me because I do appreciate it. Please help. The other mail today in his box was from the unified courts, a bank statement and important civil service paperwork.

Two books were not delivered. The postman said that he was on vacation. He said that the person separating mail only looks at the address and had apparently put my books in 1035, rather than 10 35th Street. This is several miles away. He had not even looked at my name or the 10 35th ST NW (NW is really important here.), but he has thrown 2 sets of CDs and one book in the wrong place.
I went to the post office, and the supervisor just said, "Oh, he does a good job." The postman got mad at me. Now, I'm really worried, since I am expecting a passport; and whoever is getting my mail is just keeping it. And the people I complained to, who originally sent me the CDs, are mad and never want to hear from me again. I am out nearly $100 and am very worried.

A hold mail service was placed and the mail was to resume on Saturday, July 18, 2009. I had to call the post office at 2:30 pm and ask them if my mail even went out for delivery. I was told that my mail was still sitting there and it would not be delivered on Saturday, as was confirmed with a confirmation number. I told Lamar that he needed to contact the driver and have them deliver the mail but he refused.
I called 1-800-275-8777 and told them to have someone contact the office and to stop tampering with my mail by not delivering it, but they just filed a complaint and did nothing. I spoke to a supervisor, Dominic, who told me that he is his own boss and has no other information to give me. He also refused to help get my mail delivered. I had to call back and deal with Charmaine, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. And she, too, refused to let me speak with a real supervisor.
She opened another complaint and provided me with the phone number to Consumer Affairs because Dominic decided to give me the wrong number on purpose. This is the third time this has happened with this same post office. I do not understand why it is alright for the local post offices to refuse to deliver mail at the time it should be delivered. Lamar told me I was welcome to come ring a buzzard and pick it up myself if I felt like it and if he could hear the buzzard because he is the only person there.
When my husband and I arrived, Candy ** was also there, so Lamar lied, and she did not even check our IDs to see if we were who we said we were. She just handed my mail to my husband with no confirmation that he was who he said he was, I have a huge issue with that. I addressed that with the customer service of the USPS and they did nothing about that as well. So now, I have three confirmation numbers that mean absolutely nothing and had to drive and spend my time and gas money to get my mail that should have been delivered in the first place. The Cuyahoga Falls Post Office has an issue with making timely deliveries and clearly does not care.

When he finally came out of his office, he helped the man before me.
Then, I asked for help with how to put an address on my box to send to my daughter. He kept calling her him, and I told him that the address to be sent was my daughter's. He said put this here and that there and went back to his phone call. I did figure it out, but he was very unprofessional and quite rude. I find it to be absolutely unreal how it takes till almost 6 o'clock till the mail is first delivered to my location. First of all, this is a senior citizen housing complex where we await prescription drugs through mail order daily and I have witnessed myself as well as many others constantly walking out to our mailboxes to see if our mail has arrived for the day yet. It has become quite tiresome considering I've complained to the Union postmaster over 5 times at this point and still have not gotten a response and neither have things changed for that matter. As a matter of fact, the mail used to come around 4 daily which is ridiculous. Now, it's closer to six.
The laziness of the Union postal service will no longer be tolerated here in this complex and I, for one, am taking a personal responsibility to create a petition amongst all the condo association owners here to put an end to this. We need our mail and prescriptions at a reasonable hour and shouldn't have to wait till evening to receive our mail. Thank you.

I then got in touch with Don **, who is supposedly in charge of these situations in our area. By this time, it had been 9 days with no mail. For 9 years, he has had these dogs without incident. He informed me that I would have to write him a letter agreeing to keep my dogs locked up between 9am and 5pm which I did, but still no mail and he refuses to return my calls. He also lied to me when I asked why we had not been informed that there was a problem, saying that he was only informed 2 days prior to my call. But in the same call, he told me that he was the person who had stopped the mail to our address, again 9 days prior to my call. I have no recourse since it is US law that only USPS can handle first class mail.
Both myself and my tenant where here when the incident happened (it's a duplex). The dogs were in a fenced-off court yard. They barked at her through the gate. I was bringing in groceries at the time. I invited the man to come look at the property, he said he already did. I am a captive to the USPS monopoly and have no recourse since I cannot afford to hire a lawyer and the USPS is not cooperating. I would like to be reimbursed by USPS for $5.12 for an unnecessary extra shipping due to an error by USPS. And I would like an apology for poor service. On 5/13/09, I mailed my son's eyeglasses from Oregon to Utah. The cost of the package, including insurance, was $2.25. A week later, they had not arrived at my son's apt. On 5/22, I checked with our post office in Troutdale, OR 97060 (very helpful) and they said they were scanned on 5/16 in Provo, UT 84606 as undeliverable and were on their way back to Oregon.
I tried the USPS 800# and was told I couldn't file a claim for 21 days. I found out my son gave me a wrong apt. # (#S308 instead of #N308). The original mistake was his. He had just moved to this new apt. and had been mistaken on one letter of the address. On 6/3 and 6/6, I called our post office again and they had not arrived from UT. I called the post office in Utah. They were also helpful, but said the glasses had been sitting there for someone to come and pick them up. We had no idea we were to pick them up. We were last told they were on their way to Oregon!
I called UT again, a week later, and was told that the package was sent to a forwarding address in Georgia! The glasses were sent to the wrong person. Up until 4/09 in Utah, two of my sons were living together. They each filed a change of address. One moved to another apt. in the same town, and one moved to Georgia. USPS sent the package to the wrong person/address. They sent it to Jason ** in Georgia, instead of Erik ** in Utah! I can see where it was an easy mistake to make, but a very big deal to a son with very poor eyesight awaiting glasses.
I called USPS (800#). After much time being routed around because the tracking number said no information available, I finally got a helpful gentleman who took all the information down. He said they would get the glasses from the wrong person/address in Georgia and send them back to UT. He said I would get a call back in one business day. Eight business days later, I called again. This time, I got a very unhelpful person. She was difficult to understand, and said all she could do was tell me that I had called twice and they were to get back to me within one day. I told her it had been eight, and they didn't call. She said she could do nothing. If I wanted to, I could complain to the Consumer Affairs Office over USPS. I asked for the post office number in Georgia.
I called Warner Robins, GA 31098 and another very helpful woman said she tried to help me, which she did not. I tried to get my son's address, but he was at Officer Training with the Air Force in Alabama for six weeks. Upon his return, he gathered all his mail and there were no glasses. In the meantime, I spoke with the postmaster in Oregon. She was also very helpful, but said I couldn't file a claim because the package was delivered to Georgia. Finally, I was able to get an address, called GA back and they said they didn't have them; they would be on the AF base. I called the AF base mail service and a helpful man there found them. He said he could not mail them back. My son went in and was able to get them and mail them back to UT.
They just arrived yesterday, 7/13/09, two months later! Aside from waiting for two months for a very crucial, insured package and paying extra postage, I also had to pay $25 overage charges on my phone for all the extra minutes I put on. We've had this play for more than three years, and have never gone over on minutes. There was a lot bigger cost here than $30. Postal employees in three states and my family members in three states were involved. This cost many people much time. I understand the first address error was my son’s, but sending a package to the wrong person is not acceptable. Along the way, all of the postal employees I encountered were very nice, except two of the 800# calls.
I spent many years in retail and many more in advertising and public relations. Happy customers were the result we wanted. I hope you do also. Please be more careful with forwards. Luckily, this was forwarded to another family member, but the consequences could have been a lot worse. Thank you for your time.

I could also watch the dog as I was waiting on the line. It took about 10 minutes to be called for service.
As I approached the clerk, she asked me what I needed. I told her I needed fifty 1- or 2-cent stamp. She pulled it just as I was handing to her my credit card. She noticed the dog behind the glass door and said, "You cannot bring a dog here." I said, "She is outside." She replied, "Still, you cannot bring her to the building." I replied, "Why don't you please give me the stamps and I'll leave." She replied, "No (still holding the stamps in her hand), I cannot service you." A customer next to me looked at me said, "I cannot believe this. Ma'am, give me your dog. I wait for you outside." I thanked her very much.
I came back and when I came back, the clerk were talking about me and laughing. I paid no attention. I went to the male clerk and as I was standing there, he was talking and laughing, and making faces with the other clerk about this. I said, "You know, that is not nice. You are making fun of me." He replied, 'You should go to a plastic surgeon". I was shocked and I looked at him, and I said, "You should, for your big nose".
He replied, "Look at your skin color (I am from Mediterranean and dark complected)." I was really upset, and I said, "How dare you.? I need to speak to your supervisor," and he went back somewhere to get the supervisor. I was so upset, the third clerk said, "Ma'am, you should calm down." I replied, "How would you react if some one humiliated you by saying go to a plastic surgeon and look at your skin?"
She said, "I don't think he would say something like that." I waited and waited and waited, about 5-8 minutes. No supervisor, no clerk came to see me. Then I asked the third clerk to give me information to file formal complaint. I am calling the supervisor at that branch because as he did not even come to the front to see me. These are all we can stock of now. We do not know what else has been lost. The local Orange sorting office was completely hostile and the supervisor refused to talk with our carrier. He also gave us a lecture of how things were not maintained on record for every item received.
Today, an article with delivery confirmation was not received by us and they refused an explanation. I do have some confirmation numbers from calling 1-800-ASK-USPS #OR** and #CV**. The last I received was a written explanation of having forwarded this to the nearest Consumer Affairs office concerned with our region. I am writing to complain that I get no mail delivery on my side of the street. If I had known I had to pay for mail service, I would never have bought this house. It is unfair, backdoor tax of the people on this side of the street. If we wanted to have our mail delivered "closer", we would have to put a mailbox across the street in front of an elementary school where it would be vandalized and/or stolen by the school children or their parents. This box would only be accessible if we cross a busy highway state route 7 to collect our mail. This is both dangerous and unfair. The people on my side of the street pay taxes and rising post office box fees for shoddy service and dangerous inconvenience.
Everyday, either I or my husband have to walk to the post office if we want to get our mail - winter, summer, spring or fall. Also, the post office box fees ($20 every 4-6 months) are too high and we are given too little notice for when they must be paid. A notice envelope is put into our box two weeks before the fee is due and this is always a surprise. We live on a very tight budget and are never given any notice of which month the fee is coming. I don't understand why the postal service treats us like this, perhaps to generate income. I had delivered a package to my mother that had birthday gifts and other things. I had shipped the package at the post office on McChord AFB, WA 98438 on June 26th 2009. She still has not received the package. I did not buy the insurance because that is too much money and I have never had a problem with you before. I did not receive a tracking number or nothing when I shipped the package. Is it just taking a lot time to ship the package or is it lost? After this experience, I am doing my package shipping through UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Since we are paying you to deliver our packages, we trust you to get the package delivered on time. There is no excuse why the packages get lost. Because of this, I am out of about $70. Thanks, USPS.

Commerce Bank of Kansas City notified me that one of the checks for one of the bills to AT&T had been fraudulently altered and that funds had been deducted from my account. I am sure that a postal employee had something to do with this. How can you trust the mail service now? My dad sent me a really expensive laptop ($1300) for my school from Greenville USPS branch office in Wilmington, Delaware. It was sent by priority mail. He paid close to $16 plus $3 in tape in the large box pre-paid priority mail with a standard shipping speed of 2-3 days. This was on July 3, 2009 at 12:38 pm. It has been almost a week now. I have made almost 20 calls to USPS to find out where my parcel is. All I have been told is that there is nothing they can do since it does not have a tracking number! What the hell do they mean by that? First of all, we paid $20 to have it shipped from Wilmington to Chicago. It’s not a free service that they are providing; it is there 100% responsibility to take care of each and every package they have equally. I asked them what my options were since the parcel has been lost now. I was told once again that they can’t do much since I didn’t have insurance! This is ridiculous. There is nobody who is really willing to do anything. I don’t even know whom to complain now! I just want my package!

This has been an ongoing problem since we moved here in October of 2009. First, our mail was being delivered damaged simply because the mailman did not want to close my mailbox lid during the winter months and so our mail would come in soaked and illegible. Many times over I complained and they would call and state the problem would be resolved, which after about 7 months of receiving my mail damaged, due to snow then rain, they finally started to close my mailbox lid. However, now I am not receiving mail hardly at all. As of this date, July 10th, 2009, it has been 4 days since we last received mail. Prior to that, there have been times where we do not receive mail. Incredible for a new homeowner. There are bill collectors calling and saying that our mail is undeliverable or returned to sender. Very confusing.
There are checks and important documents that should have been received by now and no one can give me a straight answer. They were supposed to watch our mail for 7 days, but no one could have been watching. This is incredibly ridiculous and I feel like there may be some type of retribution going on due to the complaints I had filed prior.

The Randallstown branch post office forwarded my mail in error to my ex-husband forwarding address in Frankford, Delaware. Apparently, he completed a change of address card for himself and marked individual, but the postal worker just looked at the last name and forwarded all of my mail for up to two weeks to his address out of state. I inquired about this in person on 6/30/09 because when I went to get my mail from my PO box, I had only two catalogs and no mail. I went to the desk and spoke with the clerk. I explained to her that I'm a domestic violence victim who recently filed for a divorce and I wanted to make sure that he hadn't tried to do anything with my mail. I explained that I had the only keys to my box, but that I've always had a nice amount of mail to the point that I've been asked if I wanted to upgrade.
I was told that everything was in order and I had no other mail. I returned to the Randallstown post office on 7/6/09 to get my mail and also to check on a certified package from my girlfriend in New Jersey. To my surprise again, I had no mail, only a coupon from Bed, Bath & Beyond. This time, I requested to speak with the person who puts the mail in the box, but the postmaster Denean came forward to speak with me. I explained my situation and expressed my concern, based on my personal situation. When she returned from checking, she advised me that my name had been scratched off of my PO box and asked if I had put in a change of address. I immediately told her no and that I had inquired about this last week. She said she needed to check to see if a change of address had been received.
She returned and told me that one had been submitted and asked me who was Bryan **. I explained he was my ex-husband and we aren't on good terms. She explained that he had submitted a change of address for individual and not family, but unfortunately, all of my mail had been forwarded in error. She then assured me that even though they had made a mistake, that because the first names does not match all of my mail would be returned, but it could take up to two weeks. This process took almost an hour and I was late for work as a result of it. I then called my girlfriend and asked her to track the package she sent me. Once she contacted me with the confirmation number, delivery date and time, I went back by the post office and presented them with the confirmation number because my girlfriend was told it was delivered, but I didn't have it and it wasn't at the Randallstown post office.
Eventually, a supervisor came out instead of the postmaster this time. Her name was Anita and she had printed out the tracking paperwork and asked me who Frank ** was. I advised her that he's my father-in-law and that my husband uses his address as his mailing address. She told me that my certified packaged was delivered in error again to him and he signed for it. She then told me she would see if the Delaware post office could have the carrier pick it back up. She also suggested I try calling my father-in-law or my ex-husband and ask him to return it to me. She requested my name and my number on 7/6/09 at approximately 5:20PM and said she would contact them in the morning and call me afterwards. I never heard back from her the next day and eventually phoned her on 7/7/09 in the afternoon.
I told her I had spoken with both my father-in-law and my ex-husband. My father-in-law admitted to signing for the package that day and receiving mail for me on several occasions. He stated that he gave all of my mail to Bryan each time it came and he also gave him my unopened package. He then put Bryan on the phone and Bryan also admitted to having my mail, but stated it was all junk mail, so he threw it away. I asked why he didn't call me to let me know and he said he'd been busy. I advised him that I had confirmed that my phone bill, credit card statements and other important mail had been mailed to me and I know that it wasn't all junk mail. And even still it's my junk mail. He said my phone bill just came, so I asked him to gather my mail and my package and return them to the post office or to the carrier.
Two days later, on 7/9/09, I returned to the Randallstown post office to get my mail and see if the certified package had made it back to them. This time, I had little mail and a slip for the certified package. I turned it in and received a large silver envelope that had been cut open and taped. I immediately asked for the postmaster or the supervisor again. I wanted to know what I could do because he had opened my package. She took it in the back and showed the postmaster and returned and said, "Yes it was definitely opened, but you'll have to call this number." She handed me a piece of paper with this number (1800-372-8347) and said there's nothing they can do because people open other people's mail all the time. I would have to get the local police involve or contact the postal inspectors.
I also called the general toll-free number for the post office and was told nothing could be done because it was just a mistake, not intentional. I expressed this could have and still might cost me my life because my ex-husband now has information on me and know where I live. I was again told to contact the local authorities because once mail is delivered, it's considered to be personal property. I explained that I was having a hard time understanding how the post office could make such a mistake and then just say "you fix it" regardless of the time, money or danger it may pose for me.
The supervisor was way more helpful than the postmaster, but when I asked for something in writing indicating or supporting that my mail had been forwarded to Delaware to my ex-husband's mailing address so I could try to file a report for the destruction of my property (mail) and or to try to get my phone bill and other mail back, I was told there was nothing they could give me. So who's covering who? I also phoned 1-877-876-2455 to file a formal complaint. I've been re-victimized so many times by the very systems in place to uphold and protect. I'm upset and very worried about just how much of my information has been compromised.

My daughter came home in June from medical school in Grenada. While she was home, she ordered her books for her last semester. We received her books and decided to send them on to Grenada so that she would not have to carry them as well as her luggage. I took them to the Post office here in Port Saint Lucie and the clerk told me that it would take 7-10 days for arrival. I told her that it was fine, they will be there before she starts class. This was June 18th. Twenty three days (23) later, she has not received her books, nor did she receive the other box with her soap, face towels, water bottle and other personal items. The post office charged me $112.30 for the two Priority mail/flat rate boxes with an additional $150.00 insurance.
I went to the post office and explained to them that my daughter has started school and has been in class for two weeks and has no books which she needs desperately. They told me to call the international number, so I called 1-800-ask-USPS and got the runaround. No matter who you contact at the postal service, you end back up at square one. Finally, based on the info I gave them, they assigned the two packages a case number. Protocol now says that I have to wait for as much as sixty days for Grenada to respond. My daughter went to the post office and they told her that the customs numbers that I have do not exist. So I called the post office to file a claim because I have to spend another $200.00 for books plus shipping. Again I was blown off by the post office, telling me that I have done everything right and I can do no more at this time. I must wait out the sixty days before I can file a claim.
Yesterday, I drove 125 miles to Amerijet in Miami and sent another package to my daughter containing soap, washcloths, and toothpaste. Postage on those items was $45.00. The plane, Flt841, left Miami at 4:00 this morning and arrived in Grenada at 3:30 pm today. While our postal service is trying to get their head out, our Government needs to find another contractor who can run the postal service efficiently. I went all the way to the Inspector Generals office in Washington DC and ended back to square one (no packages). I wonder if the Postal Service would like to pick up the tab for my daughter's Medical Education. In sixty days, I'll file my claim but I promise to never use the postal system again and I would encourage all to take a lesson here. There certainly needs to be some extensive training here for postal employees because they all have different reasons and interpretations.

So, apparently placing a change of address form when you move doesn't ensure that you'll actually receive mail at your new abode. At least not right away. See, I was recently put in a position in which I had to suddenly move out of my house. Myself, my brother and his girlfriend rented a house from an older lady month-to-month under the condition that she could ask us to leave at any time, with adequate notice of course. Well, circumstances ended up leaving her unable to give us adequate notice. So instead of picking up rent for the month, she came by and let us know it was time to pack up and find a new place.
A hasty apartment search turned out better than I ever could have hoped, as I ended up finding a nice, inexpensive apartment located not too far up the road from where I used to live. It's a great location and the apartment complex is filled with all sorts of great folks, but I digress. I promptly went to the USPS website as soon as I secured the new place and put in a change of address form for both myself and my disabled mother. However, for one reason or another, USPS was unable to verify my previous address via my credit card, so I had no other choice but to print up the forms and mail them out the next day. All appeared to be in order, as I received my final electric bill at my previous address within a week of moving. However, in the week following, I wasn't getting any mail. This wouldn't have been an issue as I normally don't get a whole lot of mail, but I was expecting movies from Netflix and a glance at their website showed that they had delivered my movies nearly a week beforehand to my new address. I had taken care to change my address everywhere I needed to, Netflix's website included, so it wasn't an issue of them not having my proper address on file.
A Google search revealed that I should put mine and my mother's names up inside my mailbox in a prominent, unmissable position so that the mail carrier knows to deliver mail addressed to us, as even with a change of address form on file the mail carrier can elect, entirely upon his own judgment, to refuse to deliver mail addressed to us at this location. However, doing so failed to yield better results as I was still getting messages from Netflix that my mail was being returned as undeliverable. I've since gone back and put mine and my mother's names on the back door of the mailbox, as well as on the bottom back facing outwards where it can't possibly escape the mail carriers notice. But I still have yet to receive the mail I expect to. I'm at my wit's end here. It's bad enough that the services I pay for are being rendered worthless by this fellow's seeming objection to do his job, but I'm expecting some time-sensitive mail to arrive that would cause me issues were it to not be delivered.

The mail carrier dropped my package out of her vehicle window. This package contained fertile chicken eggs. Since the person who sent it to me was told he could not put insurance on it, I was told that there was nothing I could do if there was a problem with the package. As of today, July 6, 2009, none of the eggs developed chicks.
I was supposed to receive another package of fertile chicken eggs on July 3, 2009. Instead, I got a slip of paper in my mailbox that said I had a package at the post office. I called and told them that I had no way of coming to get it and that if the package was left until Monday, the eggs would be no good. The postmaster from Medicine Lodge called me later in the day and basically told me that my only option was to find a way to go get the package.
I don't see why I should be out the money on the eggs, even though I did not have insurance on them. No one ever called me or sent me a note telling me that they were no longer going to deliver packages to my mailbox to "avoid any more problems" with the package deliveries. Shouldn't I have been told that they were no longer going to deliver packages to my mailbox? If I had known they were not going to, I would have asked the sender to deliver through UPS or FedEx. So now what do I do? Because of the lack of professionalism on the post office's part, I have just lost almost $40.00 on chicken eggs.

On several occasions, the supervisors had to come out and put my mail in the correct box after me calling to let them know I am missing mail. Me and my children's name are in our new box and the mail person continues to put my mail in the old box. This morning, 06/28/09, I found my mail in the hallway and that is because it was put into 6J box. My old box is 6J, my new box is 3C. Also, on several occasions, the mail person has put mail in both my new and old box on the same day.

I am currently deployed at sea and had the package sent to my roommate's house for his wife to receive while I am out at sea. She regularly checks her mail and had not received the package, nor a notification that package was awaiting pick up at a local post office. I am very distraught as I cannot currently go to the post office to direct my attention to this matter. We never know if we got mail or not. My paycheck is mailed to my home address. Even though I have direct deposit, I cringe when I think that one of my neighbors has information that is confidential. Also, my bills are sometimes late because of the mail being delivered to the wrong address.

On May 22, 2009, I once again used the same Postal Center to send 1 package to Woodland Hills, CA and another separate envelope to British Columbia, a total of 4 shipments to 3 different locations. On June 2, 2009, it came to my attention that none of my shipments had reached their destinations. I went to the Susana Oaks Postal Center to inquire. I was told by Maria (Owner?) to give the shipments more time and that she would check it out and call me. She also gave me her cell phone number.
On June 5, I had not heard from her, so I called and left 2 messages that day. On June 8, I called again and left a message. On June 10, I went to the postal center and asked if I could complete a claim for the missing shipments. She provided me with 2 pieces of paper, (plain copier paper "not a form"). She said to list the dates of shipments, the addresses shipped to, all contents of the packages and value. I provided all information including the receipts from the USPS shipments and copies of the items in the boxes.
On June 15 and June 17, I called and left messages. Maria never called me back. On June 18, I went back to the postal center and spoke with Maria. She seemed confused and said she needed to check with someone else (?) that does the pickups from her location! Again, she said she would get back to me. On June 22, I called and left a message.
Today, I plan to go back in to see her. There is close to $400.00 in merchandise missing, which I shipped from Susana Oaks Postal Center and on 2 different dates (a week apart) and to 3 different locations. Considering that they don't seem to be helping me in any way, something seems very unprofessional and very odd to me.

It was clearly damaged by the Post Office; the package was crushed and opened, and the contents probably fell out at the Post Office. The package had been secured with packing tape as always. This seal had been cut? No, the package was not insured, but the Post Office won't refund my postage or address the damaged they caused. They simply have stated that there were no contents enclosed and can't or won't issue a refund to me. The content value was $164 plus $7.69 for shipping.

I live in an apartment complex which has a section of small individual mail boxes where I pick up my mail. Around May of 2008 I went out of town for four days. About a month went by and I realized I was not receiving any mail except magazines and flyers. I called my local post office and I was told my mailbox had filled up; when this happened, my mail was held for ten days and then an order was put in the system to stop delivering mail. I told them I'm just realizing my mail is not coming, so can they please start delivering my mail again. Since my mail is still being returned to sender, I have incurred major inconveniences, including late fees for bills that I have not received and a disconnection. I have not been able to do my banking. My bank card has been returned to sender three times and there were so many other incidents.
I have spoken to the supervisor who was quite rude. He told me they have done their part and I just need to do mine and let everyone know my address hasn't changed. That is not the problem because they're sending it to the right address. I'm just not receiving it. About a month ago, I went in person and spoke to the supervisor. He told me that the system showed that I had a change of address in the system with no forwarding address and it had been in the system since May 08. He scolded me for not getting this changed earlier. I told him I have been calling and talking to people to no avail. He assured me he would correct the problem. Since then my mail has stopped totally. I receive nothing now. No flyers. None of my magazine subscriptions. Nothing. I called and spoke to the manager about a week ago. She said the system updated on June 12th and I should be receiving my mail. I'm still getting nothing. What next? What do I do now?

I called my bank to see if any of the other checks I mailed at the same time had cleared including one to AT&T Cellular. All had cleared except the check to AT&T residential.
Since it was over a month, I called my bank and put a stop payment on the check. I spoke to AT&T and told them I had stopped payment on the check and would mail out another check for that past one and the one I had just received. Several days later, I received a letter from AT&T stating my first check did not clear because I had stopped payment. Also, I had done this and used this service a few times before without any hassles and my package always arrived safely within 3 days.
When I called the USPS customer service line to inquire about the tracking information and possible lost parcel, the representative was not only rude, she hung up on me just before indicating that I was wasting her time. I then called a second time to inquire hoping for a better experience. However, I received nearly the same treatment. There's no excuse for a government run agency to hang up the phone on a tax payer and customer, especially when they have a legitimate reason to call and inquire.

I went to post office on my way to work to cash a $50 money order my niece sent me. (I bought a computer for her to use at college and she is paying me back $50 a month). I walked in and knew I was already in trouble by the clerk’s demeanor. He said, “I just started and I don't think I can cash that.” He then looked inside his computer and drawer and said “I don't have enough money to cash that.” I said, “What do you mean, it's only for $50?” He said, “You'll have to come back later.” I said, no, I can't come back later and I want to speak to your supervisor. She walked in and said that's the way it is. They have what they have for money and the clerk, who (maybe) could cash that for you, is gone to lunch and his drawer is locked.
I was thinking I was in the Twilight Zone and that this can't be for real. I said again to the supervisor, you’re telling me that nowhere in this post office is there anyone with money that can cash my $50 money order. She said, no. I said that is not acceptable. I want the name of your supervisor and the number to call to speak to him or her. She left and the clerk said could you move so I can take the next customer, like my transaction has been completed. I moved and waited and then the supervisor came out with a piece of paper and it had the name on it, M. **, Consumer affairs.
I left and went into my car and called the number, someone named Amy answered and said that no one was in. I said to her, no one in your entire office building of Consumer Affairs is in. I thought maybe they were all out on holiday, but today is not a holiday. Then I said, is there any supervisor at all that is in? She said she was the only one in the entire building that was in. Well, I'm not saying she is a liar but please, she is the only one in the entire building that is in is difficult to believe. So I said okay, I hung up and called again to listen to the prompts on the phone. Good, prompt 4 said I could leave a message. I left a message in the general delivery, it didn't say who was going to get the message, so I said, I'd like to leave this message for M. **, told my story above and added where I work. We have separate bank, with much money so no customer can ever be turned away or told to come back later because we can't change the bill they give us, no matter how big it is. I recommended that they may try to do the same.
I said it was not an acceptable business practice for the post office to operate this way and that I would be returning tomorrow at the same time, with a tape recorder, so I can have proof of what was said to me. I said, thank you and hung up. The physical damage; I was going to use the money for lunch and gas for work today.

We spoke to the clerk and we ask to send the package. She asked what it was and we say is a Nintendo DS. She just opened an envelope, weighted the item and charged for it, and told us in 6 or 10 days it will be delivered.
We wait, until now, 1 month and half later and nothing, nor here or there. We went to the post office, and again, another lady complaining about that she could not get any help on her problem. When we talked with the clerk, she just said, “Nothing we can do about it, since it does not have a tracking number.” We asked again and she said, “There is nothing we can do,” and almost said in our faces next costumer.
We entered a # that we supposed to be a tracking #, when you enter it in their page, it just said that it has been accepted and no more further information is available. We went again and this time, another clerk spoke to us and this time he gave us a number. We called and they sent us to the post office. It’s ridiculous how they bounce the situation to the phone, to the office and nobody resolves the issue. Our family in Mexico found out that the package is in this side of the border. Due to it is an expensive item, it cannot go through because we are supposed to pay an expensive post to pay taxes and the clerk that day even ask us what it was and she knew it .
How it did come to her to suggest us another way to send it? If she knew about this issue, I supposed that she went through a train process and know what to send and how or maybe somebody one day is going to send a hazardous package and she is going to permit it. This one person is so uncompetitive that in the three times I have been there, two of them people complaining, and me of course. As I have read some of the complaints from others around America concerning the USPS, it's time to do something about it, not just talk about it because it appears nothing is being done. So the people are going to have to take matters into their own hands. Either get your bills sent to you electronically online or start using FedEx or UPS. In this economy, somebody might want to start a business around the mail handling or delivery of mail for that matter. It's time to either boycott the postal service or protest to have them shut down. This is a shame that this kind of attitude and theft from the USPS is unacceptable. Maybe if we put them out of a job, they will see how the hell it feels. Enough talk. Contact your Congressman or representative and have them to hold USPS post masters' feet to the fire and make them accountable. Even if you have an item insured based on these comments, you're still basically giving your money away for free and still have to pay out of pocket for damages. This is a scam, if ever I seen it. Furthermore, it's time for the American people to say enough is enough. We should also be able to sue for damages.

As I was attempting to pull into a parking space, a postal truck pulled up very closely to the back of my car and would not go around. I assumed that he did not see me trying to park and I moved up and signaled for him to go around and that I wanted to park. He would not go around me and continued to follow closely terrorizing me as I moved upward. Since I didn’t have a lot of time, my friend got out and went into Home Depot to quickly get our items, but I still needed to pull into the space so that I would not be double parked on 3rd Ave.
I was not able to park in a space since the postal worker refused to go around my car. He then began beeping the horn continuously and then I was really becoming very scared since I then began feeling that he had targeted me. I sat very still for a few seconds, consumed by the loudness of the horn from the postal truck, and then he backed up and then pulled up next to me and shouted "You ** fat **!". About three days ago, we received a pink slip in the door saying that the mailman came by, no one was home, and that the package would be available after the weekend at the post office. Somewhere between my house and the post office, it disappeared or they are just so unorganized (it is a big box, so it would be hard to not find it in the back room) that they can't find it after the two times we've been there and asked for them to look for it three times each day. This is the second time we've lost a package full of important memorabilia and irreplaceable things from Romania from our family somewhere between our house and the post office and the postal workers who don't seem to know how important this is.

The mail man misplaced two of my packages and put it in someone else's box when I clearly had them labeled with my full address, apartment number and box number. When I tried to ask the employees what happened, she told me that the mail man was confused about how I labeled the packages. This was a little hard to take in because this never happened with any other package I had prior to this incident and they were labeled the same way. The employee told me that the person that usually delivers my mail had taken a vacation and that a new mail man had been assigned this paper route and that he had some confusion about how I labeled the packages and he put them in the wrong box.
So then, she got the manager and he pretty much told me the same thing and that they could not do anything about my missing packages. I don't understand how this mail man could get about where my mail goes when I clearly had it labeled with my apartment and box number. So now, I can't trust the post office with handling my packages and I have setup a system with them where I can pick up my packages at the site itself. Because two of my packages were put in somebody else's box, this incident has put me in a financial deficit and I have not been offered reimbursement for the value of what I have lost.

My aunt mailed me and my brother each a Certified Letter containing a letter and a check. The mails for both items are supposed to be routed to the Baychester Post Office in The Bronx and I'm sure of this because (1) this is where I rented the P.O. Box, and (2) this is where my grandmother's mails come from according to her address and I know my carrier personally. My brother received his letter on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from the Baychester Station and my letter was never scanned and therefore is actually lost in the mail system. The letter was mailed from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland 20762 on May 29, 2009. My brother has already received his letter and sent back the Certified Return Form that was attached to the letter. When I contacted the Baychester Station, they said that they never received the letter and that it was never scanned in at their location, but when the postal worker looked into the computer he said it asked if P.O. Box ** is a P.O. Box and someone checked no when in fact it is.
My aunt has checked with her post office where the item was mailed from and they have not received it back as of yet. I have a tracking number to the item and no further information is coming up except for when it was mailed and where it was mailed from. This is totally unacceptable, and I can't understand how two items, which are supposed to get routed to the same post office, and one of the letters suddenly becomes missing and no one in the postal system can seem to trace it. I'm about to be evicted because I was waiting for this money to clear my rent situation as well as other bills that need to be taken care of. I want this mail found immediately!

I paid for delivery confirmation, but when you track the number it only list the post office it started out at. I keep getting the runaround that oh, it's probably a big post office and they are handling a lot of packages. Whatever! It doesn't take that long to receive a package. So I am out the cost of shipping and the refund that the company owned me for the rug that never made it. I even asked if it's possible that it was stolen. The response was they don't see why someone would do that with a tracking number. Why not? The rug was $50 and that doesn't include the shipping cost.

The Platteville Water/Sewer Department is regulated by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC). When someone fills out an application/termination form with a new responsible customer listed, we have to inform this customer that the water/sewer billing is going to be put into their name.
We mail this letter and form out to the new responsible customer and the Platteville Post Office is not delivering this mail. They are coming back stating the address is vacant or the party does not live there. We are a college community and the students come and go during the summer months. They are still getting their mail at these addresses. The PSC suggested doing a complaint, because we have talked to numerous employees at the Platteville Post Office stating to make sure they deliver this mail.
The PSC stated it shouldn't matter, if the house is vacant they need to deliver this mail. We are having to put in extra time to either resend this information out more than once, in hopes that the post office will deliver or having to pay extra postage in some cases.

The post office can only say they received it on May 4th in Milwaukee. After numerous visits to the local post office, checking the tracking status online, and calling the 800 service numbers, nobody was able to help me locate my computer, or was even interested in helping. They all said the same thing "this happens all the time, just file a claim after 21 days".
After 21 days, I went to file a claim at the local post office in St. John. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I was told to come back in 2 and a half hours, because the person I needed to give the form to, had gone on break. A few days later, I called the service number to see if my claim was being processed. I was told to call back in one week. I did this, and was told it would take at least 30 days for the claim to be put in the system, and at least another 30 days before a decision could be made. After all this, I still have no computer, and I expect to wait over 90 days, before I can get back my money, to try and buy another computer.
I am emotionally drained, and have a difficult time even going into the post office now, to get my mail. I lost my job at the end of January, and purchased this computer, to update my resume and job hunt. I cannot even do this now. I live in a small island, where there are no computer stores. She told me since it was only going to Houston (zip 77014) that I could send it priority mail with delivery confirmation (so that I could track it) and it would be there on 6/4/09 as it was only a one day point. As of today, 6/5/09 at 6:14 pm, the only information provided to me is that my letter was accepted for delivery on 6/3/09 at 10:03 am at the Crosby, TX post office.
When I talked to Gwen **, the postmaster at Crosby, she told me that I will have to wait until it is delivered because they just can't find it. She also told me that because I didn't send it express mail, I have no recourse. She told me I should have known better and sent it express and not priority. I told her the last time I checked I did not work for the post office and therefore rely on the expertise of postal employees to tell me how I should ship time sensitive material. I was told I should have known better and that postal employees have a script to follow and Gwen said that there is nothing that she can do. And because I didn't ensure it, all of this entire fiasco is my mistake.
The time sensitive material is a check for my housing payment that if not delivered by the 5th of the month, eviction proceedings start on the 6th. Now the check was a cashier's check from my bank. I called to see if I could stop payment and get a new check issued. The only way that this can be done is by obtaining a surety bond from an insurance company and only then can a replacement and stop payment be preformed. The surety bond takes 72 hours to be approved. I would like for the post office to find my mail and return it to me ASAP so that I can hopefully hand deliver it and avoid being evicted. The check was a cashier's check for $1050 and I can't stop payment on it without a surety bond issued by an insurance company. The bond takes 72 hours to be approved and without it I can't stop payment on an official check for 90 days. My rent is now past due with late fees of $45 for the first day and $10 a day after that.

Packages were always disappearing, whenever our usual pick-up driver didn't come (which became often). We have complained several times to the supervisors about this problem, but we were threatened repeatedly to cut off our pick up. This continued, until we were permanently shut down, and our funds are frozen, after a big batch of stolen packages. Until then, we were eating missing package costs, and resending to customers for over a year, which ate up most of any profit left.
However, customer complaints caused our account to be permanently shut down. We can't insure our packages, because they are small, and have low profit. USPS employees are fully aware of this, and unfortunately now, we are out of business. We let go all our employees, our account permanently shut down, and $100,000 in frozen funds for investigation. Well, I don't have a really big problem with the USPS as a whole. However, a very rude postal carrier came to my door and asked if I cared if we and my neighbor got our mail. I asked him what he meant by that. He continued with a very smart-aleck attitude, a little laugh, and said that I keep on blocking the mail boxes in front of our house. I apologized and informed him that I was in the middle of moving. He gave me a little smirk and said that it happens a lot. I told him that I can't help it if other people park in front. I told him that I had heard from my roommate that we were not getting our mail so I quit parking anywhere near the mail box.
The street I live on is very small and narrow. The houses are very old and hardly any big driveways that can fit more than one car. This man was still very rude after I apologized to him and admitted that I was in a hurry. The thing that makes me angry is that if he can get out of his mail truck and walk up the steps to my front door to be a smart **, he can walk the 2-3 feet to put our letters in the mail box. I know that the post office does a great job the majority of the time, but whatever happened to "Through rain, sleet, or snow!"
I found out that he was holding our mail which contained the bills we needed to pay. He wrote on the envelopes of our mail that read "box blocked." I was in the military; I know about hard jobs and having to do them no matter what. I told him that I didn't want to prevent anyone from getting their mail, and I didn't want to harm anyone. He said his job was hard enough without people making it harder! I lost my temper and said I was a veteran and I know about hard jobs. He then said he was too. I wanted to yell and tell him he sure as hell didn't act like it.
When he saw that I was getting angry, he went to his truck laughing! I could have lost my temper and started yelling and swearing at him, but it would have just made it worse. My best friend's dad is a postal carrier and he has mail routes that lead out into the middle of nowhere. He gets out of his truck all the time to deliver mail without complaint. This proves that not all postal carriers are like the man who delivers to my house. What happened to customer service and treating the people who pay your salary with respect?

This is really beginning to piss me off. Why is my mail not being delivered? This is a second item that was to be delivered. This one has not been delivered either! So far, the post office has two (2) pieces of my mail and they have not even tried to deliver. I am home! Lazy postal carrier! Same thing last year, online it said a package I was waiting for was delivered but nothing was so I drove to the PO which is 8 miles from home and asked in person why it said delivered when it hadn't been. The lady walked into the back room and came out with my package in her hand. No one had even made an attempt to deliver but they scanned it as if they did. The lady had me fill out a paper, so there should be a record.
Due to the heat index in Yuma in the summer, the carriers sometimes don't ever even show up on some days because we've seen them sitting down the street in their vehicles and occasionally they put mail into wrong boxes. And since we have so many snowbirds that leave for the summer, it takes a long time to recover our mail. We had two late payments since moving to Yuma and not receiving our mail which has never happened in prior years living elsewhere. Why can the USPS do whatever they want with people's mail and not be held accountable?

I purchased a cell phone on eBay May 6th. It was en route with USPS May 8th and delivered May 11th by accident to my old address where I moved out of a little over a year ago. Well, I hadn't received my package by May 13th so that’s when I started investigating why I hadn’t received my package yet. I contacted the seller and he told me that it was my fault. My address was wrong and I know I had realized I had not updated my eBay. But the post office had stopped forwarding on my mail from that address and the first time I called them, they told me they would look for it and talk to the carrier and get back to me. They didn't, so 2 days later I called them. Still they had not talked to the carrier but they said he was now on vacation during the time of my delivery and they would talk to the temporary delivery person and get back to me. They did not. They said the regular deliveryman to that address would be back on Tuesday so to call in the afternoon.
Well, by Monday I was fed up with the crap. I went to my local post office and the guy there gave me a # to call the Rio Grande District. So I called them and they found out that the seller insured my package and they would investigate more and get back to me. Well, that was like a week ago and they still have not gotten back to me. During the last week, I called the post office in San Antonio and this time got a supervisor and he told me that the regular deliveryman won't be back now till after Memorial day. That flipped my lid. I’m beyond livid now. I purchased that phone over 3 weeks ago and still have yet to receive it and I can't leave feedback on the person I bought it from since I haven't received it. I bought this phone because my phone isn’t working and this phone is supposed to be for my business. I can't make business calls really until I receive this new phone so this isn't just affecting me, it is affecting my business, which is making me very unhappy.
I don't know what to do, but last time I talked to the post office, they told me they believe the delivery person set the package on the doorstep of my old apartment and that to me is ridiculous since that apartment I dealt with everything from theft, to someone trying to break in at 2 a.m. I doubt I’m ever gonna receive my phone and now I’m out $100. I’m broke and that was a big dent in my budget. The post office is now blaming me and refuses to do any further investigation or refund me for my purchase. I don't think I’m gonna be doing any of my eBay deliveries through them again due to the bad customer relations they have shown me in the last month.

I returned to the post office yesterday and spoke with Aldo again. He said he gave the information to the carrier who hasn't got back with him. He went on to use having 40 carriers to supervise as an excuse for not calling me back. The seller did not require insurance, so he can't file a claim; but the issue for me is that I can't reorder the item I won because it's a rare, out-of-print book. I would like an investigation into what happened. If the carrier delivered it to the wrong address, I’d like some explanation for how an item addressed to me never arrived at my residence.
I am not out a lot of money for the item, just $19.99. However, it's not the money as much as the loss of the book that is causing me this heartache. I may never get another chance to acquire this book for so little money. Most of the time, when it comes up on eBay, it goes for a lot more. Further, this is the second time in less than two months that the USPS has mishandled a package sent to me. The previous time, all I received of a package from a friend in Germany was the address label, as the post office destroyed the contents.

I live in an apartment building that has no security gate, door, whatever so delivery should never be a problem. But for some reason, USPS just fails. I have had two packages shipped to me by USPS. Both of these packages had to be picked up at their office because they failed to deliver me the package. Normally, this would be fine other than the fact that I was home, sitting 20 feet from the door both times these packages were delivered. No knock, just failure to deliver notices left on my door. One was found at 4:10PM, after my roommates got home from work/class. I had been home since 3. The failure to deliver notice was left at 4. I did not leave the room I was in (I can see the front door from where I sat).
Seriously, it takes less effort for them to knock on the door than it should to fill those notices out. The people that work at the post office in my area are complete **. Maybe because it is part of the federal building so they think they are high and mighty government workers. They complain when I come to complain about their poor excuse for a delivery person. I know this is petty and other people have much worse problems, but little unnecessary troubles like these can really stack up when it becomes a regular occurrence. I despise everything about USPS in Los Angeles.

On May 12, 2009, I mailed a 4 x 9 letter, at the post office on Main Street. It contained an email letter and 5 pictures from my christening 54 years ago. I was sending it to my Godmother who is 71 and lives in NY. I went to the post office on May 22 to inquire about what could have happened. I was given a slip of paper that read "Mail Loss Riffling Call 1-800-ASK-USPS WWW.USPS.COM/POSTALINSPECTORS". I called and the clerk asked some questions; the address, etc. When she checked, she told me that the address didn't exist. My Godmother has lived there for a very long time, and I just recently sent a Mother's Day card that she received. The clerk then took my phone number and said someone would call back, in which I was called back but was told if it wasn't certified, there was nothing that could be done.
I went back to the post office after work, and a clerk looked but did not find anything. She told me if it needed more postage the recipient would get a notice to pay for it, which has not happened. If I'd known I couldn't trust the post office to deliver the letter, I would have never mailed it. The website doesn't do any good either.

On April 24, 2009, my son sent a laptop and carrier bag from Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) in Maryland, to my home in Colorado. He foolishly did not insure the package but did send it through registered mail (requiring a signature upon receipt). After two weeks with no package, we used the tracking number and USPS receipt to find out where the package was. According to USPS's website they confirmed receipt of the package at APG, but nothing beyond that. He has had no help from the postal employees there in tracking the package and has recently been re-assigned to Georgia. I am out approximately $800 on a laptop and its peripherals (it was $1400 new two years ago, I am allowing for depreciation), as well as a $120 carrier bag.

I ordered a brand new set of golf clubs online and had them shipped to my apartment. The shipper did not insure the golf clubs and USPS tracking confirmed delivery. At the time of delivery, I was home along with my girlfriend and our dog. USPS postman claims he knocked on my door rather loudly and dropped off my package. No one in my apartment, not even the dog, heard the knocking. I checked outside for the postman every time I heard a noise because I was waiting for my clubs. After reporting this claim to USPS, the postman made up 3 different stories, and the last included someone opening the door and and saying, "thank you," and apparently taking the clubs. This obviously never happened as I never received my clubs.
USPS has attempted to be helpful in this matter, but they were never able to find my package or verify that the package had been delivered to my address. I am a graduate student at the University of Texas, paying my way, and the loss of $280 is a large hit on my financial position. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks.

I went to the post office to have my mail delivered to my front door. Monique refused to help me and threatened to have my mail sent back to the sender within five days if I don't put up a new mailbox on the street in front of my home immediately. The reason the mail needs to be delivered to my front door is because I have an elderly mother that is eighty eight years old in a walker and her doctor says she cannot walk that far. I am also concerned about the recent stealing of mail in my neighborhood right out of the mailbox on the sidewalk. I just don’t feel safe to check the mail everyday while I am waiting on my social security check every month. So I am requesting that my mail be delivered to my front door just like my next-door neighbors. My check might get stolen out of the box and that is my only means of income. While I am out on the street checking my mail, I might get assaulted.

I moved from Carrollton to Coppell effective 05/01/09. I placed a change of address order with the United States Postal Service online on 04/26/09 to be effective 05/01/30. I understand it takes about 10 business days to start seeing forwarded mail from the effective date, but here it is 05/19/09 and I haven’t seen any. I called the main office in Carrollton and spoke to Janis, the supervisor. She confirmed they had the order and said all she could do was place it to the carrier for that route. Why wasn't the order already given to that carrier? Where is all my mail? She couldn't answer those questions.
I told her I was expecting very important documents from the CA DMV and the IRS and they should've been in last week. She didn't have an answer for me and didn't offer to check to see if any of my mail was lying around anywhere. This is not the first problem I've had with this office. In August of 2008, I didn't receive any mail for 2 weeks and my son was expecting college transcripts, which were paid for, and we never received them and the office had absolutely no explanation as to why I wasn't receiving mail or where any of it was. Please help!

I had a package shipped (flat rate priority mail) from this location on April 28, 2009. It is now May 18th. I still have not received the package, which contained many important documents such as high school diploma, W2s, tax records, birth certificates, and pretty much my life. I had it shipped because I had left it behind during the unexpected move from Illinois to Hawaii when my husband came home from Iraq. I have called USPS, all the post offices and the USPS postal inspector. The postal inspector never returned my call (which I requested when I filed a report) and when I did follow up with them, they gave me a nonsense answer. I was told the postal carrier "has seen" the package and if she does see it, she will let me know.
It was stupid on my part not to get insurance, but I just didn't think that it would be lost considering I've shipped and received packages (some of very high value) from Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Virginia and Iraq. So much for shipping through USPS.

I went there on 5/15/09 and was informed that they could not find it but printed more tracking information stating that it was sent to PO 85201. I immediately went there also on 5/15/09. The lady there searched everywhere she could possibly think of and said that she could not find it and told me to check back with 85282 since I was supposed to be allowed 15 days to pick it up, it should still be with them. I called them today to confirm that PO 85282 could not locate the package on 5/18/09. So I am left with filling out this complaint.

On May 4, my co-worker and I walked to the Norman Campus Post office to mail something to Dallas that needed to be there within a couple of days. As we stood in line, the person in front of us was having some difficulty with the older lady that worked for the post office. This lady from the post office was extremely rude and very short with this customer. Finally, the customer asked for her package back and said she would go to the post office on Gray Street and said she had never been treated so rudely before! I had the exact problem with the person from the post office. She was so hateful and abrasive. Everything I asked for she was very short and said, “We don't do that here.”
Short of the story, I ended up sending the letter certified, asked her two times if she wanted to know the value of the packet and she kept telling me no, not the way I'm sending it. I still told her the value to make sure she put it down. She said it would be there in two to three days. It never arrived and now I found out it wasn't insured. I’m more than livid! I have a certified letter from my co-worker stating that she heard me more than once ask to make sure I had insurance and it would get there in two to three days! I asked for insurance and left thinking I had insurance. Also, I went to the post office this morning, 5-18-09, and was treated like crap again. I was informed that the way it was sent, it could take up to 20 days. I was so misled by this person. I have been calling and trying to trace my letters all last week and when I went the post office this morning, I was treated with the same unprofessionalism and downright rudeness as the time before.
I would strongly suggest someone look into this! I am going to continue to pursue this. I must find my letter. It has a value of $160 and I need it back. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get concerning this matter. I also need to know what steps I can take to get this situation resolved. Simply saying my letter was not insured is not the answer. What legal rights do I pursue? I will have no choice but to continue to resolve this matter. I did not misunderstand and neither did my co-worker. We left in good faith thinking I have sent the item insured and it would arrive no later than 3 days! Please contact me and let me know what I need to do next. I appreciate your time and effort in helping me resolve this unfortunate situation.

I sent a package to my sister, who lives overseas, for her and her daughter's birthday and to her son. The package included clothing from good quality brands like Ralph Lauren. I also sent 14K gold heart pendant, which has diamonds on the sides. I sent it on April 8 for first class mail. They told me that it will reach within 10 days. I talked to my sister. She never received the package even now, which is May 13, more than a month. I went to the postal office with my receipt and they told me to call 1-800 number. I called the number and it was a computer. I never was able to talk to a real person. Also, confirmation tracking number only showed that the package was accepted that day.
I also tried to track down from my sister's side and they did not receive the package in Istanbul. So I thought somebody saw what is in the package during the scanning and the package never left the La Crosse, but somebody in the postal service stole it. That is my suspicion. I am hoping one day that person will wear the pendant and I will see it. Then I will open a lawsuit against the person and the USPS. Of course, this is a dream. We say you drink cold water after something like this happens. Because it is hard to prove and catch the person. But I believe in karma. Whoever stole the package is going to lose 1,000 times more valuable things than I lost.
I sent these things as a gift to my sister and her children to receive a gift from their aunt. But somebody saw this as an opportunity to steal from someone because I guess they know that consumer can't do a lot - because the lady I talked to told me that we can't do anything.

On January 14th, I attempted to ship a mobile phone back to my carrier (T-Mobile). After being processed in Bethpage, the package has disappeared. I sent it priority with delivery confirmation as I have many times before. I contacted the USPS and a claim was supposedly opened. However, I have heard nothing from them and the package still hasn't been delivered. Since I didn't insure the package, according to them I have no real recourse and I should just wait because the package is on its way. Due to this package being lost, my mobile service has been cut off. I am unable to pay the cost of the lost item and don't feel I should have to since I can prove with their own records that the package is in the possession of the USPS as of January 14. As a result, I am now facing having a mark placed on my credit because of the lost phone, in addition to my service being suspended.

I was staying in Florida for a while but needed to return to Colorado. I sent 5 extremely large boxes via parcel post on March 24, 2009. I paid extra because they were so large. On March 27, 2009, I sent 5 more boxes to Colorado. Once again, these were brand new extra large U-Haul Boxes. All of the boxes arrived except for the last 2 boxes that I sent out. They left the same day as the 3 other boxes, but they never arrived.
That just does not make sense to me. I asked the postal workers if I needed to get insurance on the boxes, and I was informed that the boxes were so large that only an idiot could lose them! Well, they were indeed lost or stolen. Those last 2 boxes contained basically my everyday needs - my clothes as well as my daughter's that were mostly new, all the software for my laptop, all my work clothes, my daughter’s learning games and video game systems, our shoes, and important papers and documents. Basically, we lost a lot of things that were irreplaceable and important to me.
No one knows what happened to the boxes, and why they did not come with the rest of the boxes; or if they are indeed lost. I keep getting the run around and no one returns my calls. Then they yell at you when you do reach someone because it is not their responsibility. The last person I spoke to swore they did not have any black female workers in their location, but I know for a fact that the last person who accepted my last 2 boxes was a black female worker!
I am shocked that they send mail to a recovery center then auction it off! What about people as myself who are searching for their belongings? I am just so lost and confused on what to do. No one realizes or cares how much this affects my life. I used to work for customer service for USPS almost 5 years ago. They are currently hiring. I quit because I was pregnant at the time. I have since tried to reapply because they are now hiring, but oddly, I am not eligible to even submit an application because they are not accepting applications from previous employees.
I feel like this is serious discrimination and there’s a complete disregard for your customers. I paid a lot of money to ship those boxes, and they will not even check to see if they are still at the post office, in transit, or at the recovery center. Nothing. There has to be a better way to make a complaint or be reimbursed. Play the video back at the post office or something because this is not a believable situation. I am disgusted with the postal service and hate that I have to utilize its services.

My local postal carrier has repeatedly lost or, more likely, misdelivered my mail. I don't know if the route carrier changed but my problems started toward the end of 2008 when I started having troubles with missing Netflix deliveries. This happened three times in a row and I called the local post office but nothing improved and eventually I had to cancel my Netflix subscription. I couldn't continue paying when the Postal Service couldn't get them to me. Several weeks after I cancelled, one of the DVDs showed up in my mailbox then another month or so later another one showed up. Also, someone left one of them lying on my doormat. Apparently they had all been accounted for at that time though it didn’t much matter at that point.
Other than Netflix, I really didn’t use the postal service for much of anything I care about up until I lost my job and started receiving unemployment checks via mail. This latest incident involves returning from a trip expecting to find my check in the mailbox but instead finding four messages on my answering machine from a person stating he had received my check in his mail and he was trying to get it back to me (Rodney @ **). I have returned his call twice but still haven't spoken with him or got my check. Maybe he's out of town now. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time but the pattern here is chronic. I don’t care a bit if I ever received 3rd class mail and almost all of my financial matters are handled by more reliable means. Unfortunately, I can’t have my unemployment checks direct deposited and I am at the mercy of the postal system.
If the carrier is incapable of doing the job, then put them on some less difficult task and hire me. I really don’t want to do the job, but I assure you I could do better than this. When it was just Netflix, I could just cancel and circumvent the problem but now that it is a money issue, I will be relentless in getting this resolved. What do I want at this point? I want the problem at the post office resolved and my mail delivered and not lost. I want my check out there, which was misdelivered in Rodney’s hands. Perhaps the post office can track him down, retrieve the misdelivered check, and get it to me. Other than that, a written explanation or at least a phone call would be appreciated. Thank you.
