Was expecting arrival of Mobility Scooter purchased off of Ebay. The item never got to my home on the delivery date. When I checked on the tracking number it said it was delivered. Well I was home all day and no package not even a FedEx truck on my street. After all that sent all the proper paperwork about my complaint was told they were going to investigate and would take 5 to 7 days to make a decision. Three days later I received a letter saying the bad news was I would not get any compensation and the case was closed. The driver said he had been to my home 2 more times and I wasn't home. All I can say is what he done with my scooter. He should at least come and tell me that to my face cause he is a damn LIAR.

I ordered an iPhone through Apple. Was supposed to receive by 3pm. Status shows that in the delivery vehicle at 7am. Had to stay at home for entire day as it needs sign. It's already past 4 and haven't received it yet. This is second time something happening like this with FedEx. Called the office. Very rude way of talking to customer.

PEOPLE BEWARE! FedEx and the USPS accept no responsibility if they deliver your package to the wrong address. I have had this happen twice now and it is like dealing with dolts. It is their policy to "assume" that you, the consumer, have received the package and they refuse to look into it any further. I have had no problem with UPS and suggest you use them to ship & receive packages whenever possible. UPS has GREAT customer service! I, also, suggest that any time you do not receive a package FedEx and USPS say they delivered, that you file a formal complaint with each entity, call the store from which you purchased your item(s) and suggest the store use UPS instead. Then file a formal charge with your Police Department--even if the officers have a dismissive tone. Thievery is thievery... Even if a package is incompetently misdelivered.

I requested delivery notifications. When notified package had been delivered (I was home all day) I checked outside and no delivery. I called FedEx and they indicated they would call me back in 2 hours after investigating. I had them repeat my number to make sure it was correct... It was not. 2 days later I'm still waiting a call back. It was delivered to a family on a different street with a different city for a mailing address. Thank goodness for honest people! That family looked me up and contacted me. I got my package with no help from FedEx. I will let FedEx know as soon as they call me back. However, I will not hold my breath. I understand humans make mistakes, but not calling me back as promised is unacceptable. Unfortunately this is not the first time I've had problems with FedEx. UPS is much better!

I've used FedEx for personal and business shipping, for many years. They are efficient, careful with parcels and work on Saturday. The others are less careful, don't get deliveries when you expect them and I've received damaged, and water logged goods from UPS, also USPS. That's why I always use FedEx whenever possible. I have found FedEx to be less expensive and very cooperative with special requests.

When living in IL I was preparing to make a move and decided to take my packages elsewhere in search for low prices and better customer service. I found FedEx and was told that by using a FedEx account I could save time and money. Every time I went in, I would give them my account number and it would be quick and easy to just drop off my packages and pay with my account. I have successfully moved with all my packages, with many packages late but nothing concerning. It was a week and a half later when I went to check my online banking when I realized that a fraudulent purchase was made to my account a day earlier. This purchase was made in TN by FedEx for the amount of almost $150. Not only have I never been to TN, stopped using FedEx, and I am the only one who posses my FedEx account information.
But also after going through headache and stress because of this I came to find out through the internet that I was NOT the first one to be scammed by the FedEx company specifically in TN. This scares me in so many levels and upsets me as well especially because of how happy I was with FedEx initially. Now I don't have a reason to go back there again. I have never been so dissatisfied and upset about service given to me anywhere before. This could have potentially hurt me financially had I not caught it in time, especially because I have my credit card payment due in just a week. I think that if Fedex cared even in the slightest bit about their customers (the people who support and grow the company) that they would reach out to me, and stop this once and for all.

My experience was bad also aggravating with FedEx. I hope that I never have to something shipped by them ever in my life. They are lying to you. They say it's on the truck to your location but don't arrive. One whole day wasted waiting for them. They have voice recording. I hope they hear their horrendous customer service. I got hang up on 4 times, asked for management. 2 time got no answer. I hope they do go out of business to people that know how to do their job. Never had a problem with UPS. They get their thing done right. FEDEX if you ever read this kill yourself you **.

I was a shipping and receiving specialist for Toys R Us 8375, Wilmington, NC, for 12 years. I received shipments from FedEx on a daily basis, as well as shipped packages out through Fedex. I never had a problem with the service at any time during my tenure at that store. Fedex carriers were quite efficient and courteous. My shipments were always intact, picked up and delivered within the estimated time. It was extremely easy to track shipments which came in from a wide range of sources. I would recommend using Fedex as a carrier if you desire your shipments to be processed and delivered in a timely manner.

Fedex left a door tag at 1:40 on Friday and I called in to see if they could swing by and redeliver the two packages. He promised me the driver would be back there before 8pm to deliver... 5:30ish rolled around and I called back to check, the truck was parked for the day. I asked why I was lied to and the resolution person apologized & told me Saturday they would deliver after 1:30 pm, my daughter was home a little after 1 pm, tag on door with no time or date.
I called again with case numbers from the day before and they said the driver had not stopped to deliver yet, even though I gave the door tag number to him. I told him I don't care as long as the packages were being delivered today. About 2:30 pm I called to check and got Aaron, the truck was no longer out for delivery, they had come at 10:45 am after being promised it would be after 1:30 pm. He said to sign the door tag and they would be left, which would be ridiculous with thousands of dollars between the two boxes!!! Aaron just told me delivery will be Monday and tracking says Tuesday by 8pm. I am going to call again, but I believe it won't do any good... Just one lie after another, I will avoid doing business with them again!!! I see there are thousands of complaints against them for lying... fortunately there is the Post Office and UPS!!!

You know, guarantees fail sometimes. I accept that. But when a delivery is expected by 10:15 am guaranteed, and we call them flustered at 11am because we must board the train with this check on hand, the agent really should not have said "well there's nothing I can do, it's beyond my control." This has marked my typical experience with FedEx, where employees take it personally any allegation of negligence on the part of FedEx.
We had to instruct him to call the driver, get the status of delivery, and determine what the modified time of delivery is. He agreed to do that and call us back... and another 30minutes later, we call fedex back because the driver never called as agreed. We trace the truck all over again with the new agent on the phone, she claims she doesn't know when it will arrive. This is not acceptable. We relied on FedEx to get this check to hop on the train for one of the most important business transactions for my husband, and now our lives are on hold. We can't even call Amtrak to see what options exist for getting to our destination because we don't have the modified ETA.
This agent on the phone can only promise to "place a request to try to find the package, since record shows it left the Emeryville shipping center." This is not acceptable. This is a problem caused by FedEx, and it needs to be fixed by fedEx. This agent insists she didn't cause the plane delay which delayed the delivery-- why even bother saying something like that?
FedEx as a professional company needs to take formal responsibility. The manager came on the phone because the agent simply didn't know "what else to do," that manager said driver whereabouts are unknown and this he cannot give us even estimated arrival time of the envelope, other than that by end of the day today it should arrive.
FedEx advertises its service as if it's reliable, and I'm utterly shocked that when they cause an error how incompetent and apathetic the agents are in responding and actually constructively addressing the error towards resolution. I have seen this sort of issue with FedEx one too many times and I will not patronize this business for anything that requires absolute reliability like this time.
FedEx made us jump 10 too many loops just to get the case escalated to a manager who personally agreed to look into the matter and find the damn check and give us revised delivery time lest we drive to the driver ourselves since we are desperate for this envelope. No one can even find the package now, and three agents said to us it was scanned for departure and it's our problem if that's not enough information. The first agent didn't even call us back despite verbally promising to do so. Never trust a FedEx agent, they don't train their employees, they are not committed to upholding quality and integrity for the company, they may as well be hired temps for less than minimum wage off the streets.

If I could I would give FedEx no stars. I had made a purchase through a company and tried to cancel the order but the company sent the items anyways. I called FedEx to refuse delivery and since the item came in two shipments only one got refused and the other one was delivered. I had to call FedEx half a dozen times to come pickup the second item. The second item I called and scheduled for a pickup they kept trying to redeliver to me and I had to call FedEx again and tell them "no I refuse delivery" and while speaking to someone from customer service I got hung up on. I had to keep calling them to refuse delivery and they kept messing up. Well I might have to physically go down to the FedEx store to return the items.

I'm ordering some things from the same company, specifically requesting 2ND day air which I paid for and FedEx shows shipping will be with this ridiculous speed post & I won't get the items 'til after the holidays. When reached customer care they don't know anything, can't say the FedEx location the package started, there is no way to contact the location. The only available option was to pick up after holidays or cancel your order through the company that placed order. What in a hell the customer support is for? Customers choose ship to home because it's convenient for big orders and heavy shipments. The Worst service ever. If there is a way to give them 0 stars they deserve it.

Packed and shipped a baby bearded dragon from Seattle to Milwaukee. There were two mess-ups on this shipment: 1.) Dragon was shipped ground rather than priority overnight. Apparently was missorted in Memphis. 2.) Dragon was packed into a shipping container and was never found when it was supposed to have arrived at the Milwaukee sorting facility.
Paid for priority overnight and am now on day 3 with a lost shipment. Useless employees and even useless management did not care nor could they provide support. Just reimbursement for the shipping costs and for the insured value. Doesn't change the fact that they probably killed a baby animal. And... Since it's most likely a dead bearded dragon considering the temps this weekend even with the two heat packs and medical grade shipping container, that's just sad. Should never have happened and this company has lost my business forever as well as the business of my high shipping volume retail company.

I ordered a bicycle wheel from ebay. I payed $125 with free shipping. The shipper seller shipped item via Fedex with a tracking number. Due to some mix up by the sender, the package had 2 tracking numbers. The first was never sent so that was a bad tracking number. The other tracking number showed its full tracking details from sender to me. According to the tracking details, the package was delivered on Sep 2, 2016 pm with "Left at front door. Signature service not requested". I was not in for most of the day so when I did not see the package at the front door, I reviewed my security cameras. There was no fedex truck delivering a package to my front door anytime during the whole day.
I called fedex to inquire about the package. They sent out an "investigator" to find out what happened along with the delivery driver. I was not there to meet with either but I spoke with the "investigator" on the phone and explained how there was no package delivered and I have cameras to prove it. The investigator did his investigating, taking pictures and checking parallel streets to see if it was misdelivered. He came to the conclusion that it was driver error and that he will file the report and told me to contact sender to file a claim with them. I advised the sender to file a claim but nothing came of it. The shipper replied by saying that the package was delivered according to the tracking details and his/her job is done.
I filed a claim with ebay saying that I never received the package. They referred to the same tracking information and denied me saying the package was delivered. I filed a claim with paypal and they gave me the same response. I finally decided to file the claim with fedex. The first claim I mistakenly used the first "void" tracking number and just wasted weeks with no conclusion. Filed another claim with the correct tracking number and got denied with the same response that the tracking number shows that it was delivered. So... basically the package is delivered by scanning the package no matter where the package is.
For all I know, my wheel was delivered to the wrong doorstep or the driver kept it for himself. The key evidence here is that my 3 cameras show no fedex truck anywhere near my house at the indicated delivery time or anytime during that day. If they are denying the claim and putting their sole trust in the driver's package scan and trustful word, they are without a doubt mistaken.
Even paypal, ebay and the sender are happily satisfied with their hands washed with this "false" information. Meanwhile, I'm out $125, no purchased product, and 3 months of aggravation with no happy ending. Something to think about before buying anything from ebay/paypal and having it shipped by fedex. Based on this video evidence, fedex should fire their driver for incompetence.
The investigator that supposedly filed the investigation report should be questioned as to whether the report was really filed. The claims department should be investigated as to why the report wasn't used for the judgment. Seller, Paypal and ebay should be ashamed for putting responsibility on me but they are just relying on the fact that fedex is reputable enough to provide accurate tracking information when it's far from the truth.
When speaking to investigator, he said that the device used to scan the bar code uses cellular technology so if they were to look up the log of the scan, it would only show up as coming from the nearest cell tower. My suggestion would be that the device has gps and it sends that coordinate along with the bar code and timestamp. That way there is proof that the driver was at my doorstep for their record. As for my evidence, the cameras show that the driver lied about being at my doorstep to deliver package. Screenshot is the driver and investigator trying to figure out what happened.

FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays where getting help was easier when those who I could get to help were not working. Customer service was rude and had "that's your problem not ours" attitude. Told company I ordered from to find another company to use for shipping.
Order furniture before from others via internet and it was delivered inside my house. FedEx would not even deliver into my driveway. Not a customer friendly company. Will never use FedEx for shipping as they are not helpful to the recipients. Makes the company where I ordered the furniture from look bad. They were not happy either. Whoever delivered my package from FedEx didn't even bother knocking or ringing the doorbell. My dad and I were home when I received an email saying my package was delivered. I investigated and found the package on my front porch. When I checked what time it stated in the email that it had been delivered it stated it had been 12:48 pm and it had been 1:20 pm at the time. I was upset by this because they didn't bother knocking or anything to let us know that either someone was there or a package was delivered.
In my neighborhood packages that are left unattended on the porch can and will be stolen. Considering I paid for this product and expected that FedEx would ensure it would reach my hands I was angered. In the half hour that it had been on the porch it could have been taken as quietly as it arrived, considering my dog didn't even bark or make an indication someone had been at the door. I am unimpressed with FedEx and will refrain from using them for any further shipments onward.

I will give a 5-star salute to FedEx... Your drivers take the time to deliver regardless of where you live... I live in a apartment/complex and understand this is sometimes difficult to deliver the package. I help the driver by being there when the truck pulls up... and I just sign at the door. His truck is secure and so is he. On this day I had important package coming and it was coming by FedEx. The driver was excellent. He had took the time to call me on my cellphone. I am thinking that all drivers have their own routine... But this young man took the time to call. His name is Curtis and he was very surprised when I told him that this was the first time I got a call. Just wanted to give him thanks for going the extra mile. And thank you FedEx... I can relax when FedEx is bringing my package.

I ordered a package for my brother's birthday two weeks ago from out of the country. There was a delay but it was shipped on the Tuesday before his birthday (on Saturday). I had my choice of shipping services and stupidly decided to try FedEx. Well, I paid extra for the package and had them send it via express so I could have it as soon as possible. I received a scheduled delivery time of Friday, 11/4. I was at work late on Friday but had someone home to answer the door when my package was supposed to arrive. It never did. I wake up Saturday morning, only to see that my package has been rescheduled for Monday, two days after I need it. I called FedEx customer service, had difficulty understanding the accent of the agent on the line, and was told that because it was in transit, I couldn't do anything about it and I had to wait until Monday.
No apologies or consideration from the agent. Either they won't or don't deliver it on Saturday, unlike their competition. Perfect. What a waste of money. I could've gone with DHL or UPS, two companies I've had fairly good experiences with, instead of getting screwed by incompetence. My brother is only in town today, and then he has to leave to prepare for a business trip. I won't see him for a month, at least, and this coat is not going to be of any use of him after he gets back. I am never using FedEx again, and will be going out of my way to recommend to all of my friends and coworkers to avoid them, if they want to get their packages on time.

After researching prices I found a better deal through a company which I will not mention as this is not the point of my complaint. In my dealings with FedEx my Company (**) had couriered many times docs to the U.S. Long story short, I had canceled FedEx and started using the other Company, the problem was the Company use to send my docs to in the U.S. were fraudulently using my account! Ready for this, FedEx said it was not their problem and I should go after them, even though I canceled my account and they allowed the other company to use my account!! Just wild!!! We are a business out of KC that has been very blessed over the past few years and we ship out furniture and decorative items across the US. We left UPS several years back, due to very poor customer service and because they were breaking Ground shipping items at an alarming rate, but yet wouldn't reimburse us or our customers for the packages and contents broken. So... We decided to go with FedEx. We loved their services at first, and were promised all types of gadgets and devices to help our business become more successful with shipping (label makers, scanners, etc). Not only did we never receive anything and still haven't, but in 5 years have never been given an account rep/business rep/ or manager to help us with questions or anything (most other couriers assign you a rep to help you become more successful and get better rates).
At first they sent us a packing rep, who helped us order packing supplies for our items, so we did and pack to their standards... but it is funny, if anything gets broken, they won't reimburse us... unless it is a very cheap $100 item. We find their customer service also very poor and they won't return calls, emails, or anything. This is very frustrating, because we probably spend between $10-20,000 in Ground shipping items each year.
Sadly, we are leaving Fedex and strongly recommend any small business, large business, or just a customer looking to ship an item, to find a local or independent courier that respects and appreciates their customers more than FedEx or UPS. Both companies talk big and pay for good advertising, but if you read their online ratings... they are both truly awful. They love taking your money, but will not support you when things go wrong. Our business has a 5 star rating and we appreciate every customer that orders from us... Can't say the same for large shipping companies like Fedex. It is a shame. :(

I ordered an accent chair on Wayfair.com. To make delivery requests, Wayfair told me to call FedEx. So I did call. I expressed to them that I will not be able to receive a package on Oct 31st. I requested to have my package shipped Nov 1st at 1pm. I called 4 days in a row to confirm that I will be getting my package on the day that I requested. Each sales rep I spoke to assured me. I spoke to numerous sales reps who said they put a note on my shipment to have it delayed to Nov. 1st at 1pm. Needless to say, I get a phone call on Oct 31st from the delivery driver that he is waiting for someone to let him inside so he can bring the package up. Mind you, the address I am having the packaged shipped to is my new address and I will be moving in on Nov 1st.
I scheduled several deliveries for that day including the one I am suppose to receive from FedEx. I had to call FedEx again for the fifth day in a row and tell them that they MADE A BIG MISTAKE. I spoke to 3 different sales representatives because each one wanted to keep me on hold for 30 minutes. The last sales rep I spoke told me that Wayfair misinformed me that I could make a time request on my package when in fact FedEx were the ones who told me that I could. FedEx does not want to own up to their mistakes. They put blame on everyone else. Now, on the day that I am moving and expecting multiple deliveries to my new apartment, I have to travel to pick up a package at a local FedEx on Nov 1st. MY PACKAGE BETTER BE THERE FEDEX!
I don't understand why after you were the ones who misinformed me, could not simply bring my package on the time that I requested. I understand that is not the norm for ground shipping, but you told me you would the first 4 times I called to confirm, yet on the 5th time you want to change your minds. I am very disappointed in the lack of great customer service skills and the finger pointing that goes on in your company. The best thing to do was to send my package the time I requested as an apology for your mistake. Now you are inconveniencing me on a very big day for me. Wayfair, please choose a different delivery carrier. FedEx is super unprofessional and they are so disgusting to you when you have a problem that is caused by them. They treat you as if your life is nothing and you don't have other important things to do.

I have never written a negative review in my life, but I am strongly compelled to do so now. I wish I could even say this was terrible service, but I can't even say that, as I haven't actually received any service at all! This is the third time that FedEx has claimed a delivery attempt, but has not actually done so. On three separate orders, I have received a message from FedEx via the seller that a delivery attempt was made, but never once, on a total of 7 supposed attempts, has a delivery attempt tag been left on my door. On two of those occasions, I was actually home, and no one knocked or rang the doorbell.
Furthermore, when speaking with customer service, they insisted that the package wasn't delivered because I wasn't home. In fact, I WAS HOME on multiple occasions. However, the package did not require a signature, so it should have been left in any case. When I mention that, they say didn't have an explanation. Furthermore, I have a porch, and the package wasn't left there. Finally, I went to the distribution center on Poth and spoke to a manager, who assured me that he would leave notes on my address and that this would never happen again. Well, it has.
I have spent a total of 10 hours of my own time trying to sort this out, hours talking to customer services reps, and sending pictures of my home entrance to verify that it is clearly marked and accessible. Still, no one seems to be able to help me solve the problem, which shouldn't be that difficult. All other delivery services, USPS, UPS etc.have no problem delivering. It is just FedEx that cannot competently leave me a package. Unfortunately, I can no longer use FedEx for personal or business reasons, nor can I patronize businesses that use FedEx, as I will never receive my orders. I will have to inform these businesses why. Not only is FedEx hurting themselves, but also other businesses. In the end, I am mystified by this, and in fact suspect that they aren't even trying to deliver my package. Frankly, they can't seem to be trusted. Better take your business elsewhere.

When I contacted FedEx to file a claim I was told that OfficeMax would have to file the claim because they were the customers. After some trouble I got OfficeMax to file the claim. When I spoke to Cameron, the OfficeMax manager, he told me that I MIGHT get the check in six to eight weeks. He also told me that the damage to the package was not their fault. How is it that FedEx underinsures merchandise then requires the customer to go through a third party (OfficeMax) to file a claim, and then issue a claim check to the third party and not the customer and then say they are done with the issue leaving the customer to deal with the third party to get the claim check.

The package (tracking number **) was sent out to me on Tuesday, October 11, for two to three day delivery. Thus, the package was expected by Friday, October 14 at the latest.
When the package did not come on Friday, we phoned FedEX consumer affairs department on Saturday to make sure the package would be delivered on Saturday. We were assured that it would be delivered. However nice the representative was to us, the package was not delivered because it was marked as a business delivery. We subsequently learned, however, that FedEX reported that on Friday "future delivery" had been requested. Presumably this was the supposed reason why the package was not delivered to me on Friday. We never requested a delay in the delivery date -- so this was untruthful. Then on Saturday, FedEX shipping records indicated that "we were not available" for delivery. This was also untruthful as we were available for delivery. We were informed today that as the package shipping was changed to 'home delivery' we would not receive the package on Monday, as we had been promised.
It appears that the false information and poor service we received was in part due to a lack of good information provided to FedEx customer service representatives and, likely, total inefficiency at the Broomfield, Colorado shipping office. Now after several telephone calls to customer representatives, we can only hope that the equipment we purchased will come in time to be some small use for my husband's recovery.

After a bunch of phone calls, I finally reached someone who spoke English. He said my package would be delivered to my apartment door on the third floor the next day. If FedEx driver are supposed to be ninja, they are on a league of their own; but for delivery driver, they are the worst. Every single time I am home expecting a heavy package (a package worth my time waiting on) FedEx drivers would either ninja to my side door and leave a blank note saying nobody was home or just take it to the next level and leave the door tag in my mailbox. So either FedEx drivers think they have ESP-like power and determine if anyone was on from their truck or they are just too lazy to actually make the delivery.
I've been waiting in the living room (where the front door is) since 8 in the morning. I see that people here are also frustrated at FedEx. I suspect the problem lies on the fact that we are not FedEx's direct customers, FedEx's customer are the ones paying for their services, the online merchants. We the consumers just have to pressure the merchants to stop using FedEx (ask them to use other mean of shipping, or choose vendors offering options beside FedEx). Businesses typically don't response unless it affect their revenue.

No FedEx truck ever came through my neighborhood yet the driver listed me as attempt to deliver. With no new door tag it is pretty obvious that no attempt was made however the London hub does not require a door tag with each attempt so how do you hold your drivers accountable? FedEx is only as good as their drivers and not holding them accountable encourages them to lie. In London Ky FedEx drivers can sit alongside the road and sleep and then list customers as attempt to deliver and management will say nothing. To start with the positives: the 5 packages I have sent this past year have all made it to the recipients. Glad to be able to say that, but really, that's about all the positives there are. Oh, and there's that one time the person at the counter was actually smiling and very courteous, which was quite pleasant and a nice surprise. Continuing with the cons: I had issues with 3 of these 5 packages in some step of the shipment process. Let me elaborate...
At the beginning of this year, I tried to use a coupon I found off the FedEx website, a clearly advertised coupon right on the FedEx front page. It has the checkout code and everything right on the coupon, begging to be used by everyone. No problems to expect there right? Well, when I showed the coupon to the person checking me out, I was told that I needed a paper copy of it. Alright, never heard of that before, but I'll work with it. They can't just enter the code? (No). Okay, can they just print out a copy of the coupon from their own website then? (No.) Okay, they wanted me to screenshot a copy of the coupon on my phone and then email that screenshot image to them. Then they proceeded to print out that copy from their email and enter the checkout code. A what would have been 5 minutes of service ended up being 20 minutes. Okay, whatever...
Next mishap I encountered: I sent a package to a friend who lives in a clearly marked house on a street in a neighborhood. The shipment tracking information showed that the driver "could not locate the address" the first two or three times he "attempted delivery." A couple days later, I receive a call from FedEx asking for my friend's phone number. Eventually, the package got delivered. I'll just give them the driver the benefit of the doubt and say it's an honest try. But seriously! The address was easily locatable on google maps. If it was that difficult to deliver to such an easy destination, I wonder how FedEx ever gets their packages delivered! I better stop using FedEx while I still haven't lost any packages with them.
This last encounter is the needle that broke the camel's back: I sent a package to a friend in mid-June, and it is now October. I paid close to $30 at the counter for the shipping. A couple days ago (3+ months after the shipment), I received a bill from FedEx with a sheet of paper insert stating that they were "unable to bill the account for the party indicated, therefore we are invoicing you for the charges associated with this shipment." Yes, THREE months after the shipment, I received an invoice for a package I already paid for on the spot, with the "payment" due in 1.5 weeks.
I called the number for "Revenue Services" and went through layers and layers of options before I finally got an operator. Luckily, this operator was quite helpful in somehow realizing that I had already paid for this shipment and removed the charge. (I'll find out how true this is in a couple days). Well, it would be good for me to know what caused this error to occur, so I don't have to deal with this again. So, I proceed to ask, "Could you tell me why this happened?" Immediately after I finish asking this question, the person helping me just hangs up! He asked me for my question, and then just hung up on me after I asked it! I was in total disbelief that customer service could be so rude.
FedEx just lost another customer and whoever else I talk to about my encounters. There is no way I would recommend their services to anyone. My experiences with UPS and even USPS have been better than this! FedEx is far too expensive to have services worse than the more affordable mail carriers. To be honest, I'm not sure how FedEx is even in operation if customers cannot even trust them with the simplest of tasks.

FedEx need to just go out of business. I paid for a next day shipment and the guy said he delivered the package but never came to the house so I'ma say he stole it. Just because he scan it delivered don't mean he did and the FedEx reps nor managers have no type of customer service experience. Please for your own good please don't use FedEx. They will steal your stuff and the managers don't have no care whatsoever. Your best choice would be UPS. They will never just leave your package.

Absolutely disgusted with FedEx services. Family sent me a gift and I was not home to sign for it. I work and am not home until after 4 PM. I have called and spoken to numerous FedEx customer representatives that assured me that they could deliver from 4 PM on as they deliver up to 8 PM. Today 10/1 after 7 phone calls I'm informed that no they can't deliver after 4 PM. There is no one that can sign for this package. My neighbors are all at work as well. So much for them arranging service at my convenience.
My package has been held up since the 24th of September and I'm not in a position to travel to Harrisburg or Lancaster, PA to pick up this shipment. The last customer service rep was rude after I explained to him I've been told by 6 other reps that this package could be delivered after 4 PM. I have canceled a doctor appointment waiting for this package after being misinformed the first time that it would be delivered on a Monday, which they do not deliver on a Monday. I have rearranged my schedule 3 times and still don't have my package!

Fedex is probably one of the worst courier out there. Everything they blame on weather even on sunny days outside. Everyone I know had issues with FedEx. Their customer service agent are rude and unprofessional. My clients pays more not to have FedEx as their courier for their goods to be transported. I've read some reviews and I have to say I relate 100% to all of them. Service in third world country are far better what FedEx is provided. My client paid for overnight delivery to Quebec from Ontario. It was supposed to be next day. It wasn't delivered. Then FedEx said they had issues at the terminal.
One agent said it was foggy. One agent said truck couldn't make due to traffic. Then FedEx decided to do their own thing, let us deliver even when the business are not open yet after I instructed for the package to be returned. Fedex they are never on time and never accept responsibility. They had even lost my client package before and didn't want to pay. Fedex is horrible horrible horrible. They should be fine for using "always on time". My advice: use anything other than FedEx.

I have just received the first notification of a FedEx Bill (marked PAST DUE) from FedEx who took care of the shipment into France of a faulty piece of electrical equipment originally purchased from France, for which I am being charged over $1,000 in TVA because they did not get the paperwork right. They have been completely unhelpful and now told me that the only way to avoid the collection agency is to transfer the TVA to the recipient. So this now appears as a whole lot of logistics work for me when a return/repair item, originally manufactured in France should not be charged TVA duties at all as it is sent back for repair. It would be nice if someone from FedEx actually gave some assistance rather than threatening with the Debt Collection Agency as the first step.

I have sent a document from Kuwait via FedEx. I was tracking the details from the 21st of September and enable the Request notification. Unfortunately I have received the notification one time only. Next is the biggest joke. The shipment has arrived the destination and I am following with the family about it and still saying they are not received. I have provided the contact number. If you can't find an address they can call a concern person to come and collect the package.
Finally, I have arranged to find an address of FedEx (what they have provided on their Web site as well as Google Maps are totally wrong). After searching for 2 hours finally found the location of the office. My Dad has collected the package and strictly informed me not to send any package via FedEx because it sucks in service. What a joke is, my dad has collected the package. If you see the tracking status "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" after 1 hour of collection and after 3 hrs the status changed to Delivered. Luckily the package was safe, but their service is very bad.

I live in an average suburban neighborhood. FedEx has mishandled the last three deliveries to my house. One they left with my neighbor, but marked it delivered on the tracking site. Fortunately, my neighbor brought it over to me the next day. Seems the deliver person was afraid of my 10 year old Aussie. Today, I expected two deliveries according to their tracking site. The driver arrived a little after 3 pm, then pulled away. Never came to the door. They marked my package as undeliverable customer not home. The second package was supposed to be here before 7 pm. When I called about it they informed me that their tracking site was incorrect. So basically I rearranged my day for nothing and I'll have to do it all again when they decide it's a good time to deliver my packages.

My husband and I have spoken with eight FedEx employees in the last several days and not one could or would help get our package delivered. I ordered a birthday present for my son 10 days ago and it was shipped FedEx 3 day shipping. FedEx absolutely refused to deliver to our house at a time when we would be home, after 3:30 pm so we could sign for the package. Even though I signed up with delivery manager and wrote notes to the driver on the three door tags, every employee we spoke to said they would absolutely not redeliver within any time frame. Every item of FedEx advertising that I have tells the customer to sign up for your delivery when and where you like. All lies. They refused to deliver the package to our house and said we had to drive to the FedEx station an hour away. Absolutely absurd! Never, ever use FedEx. Terrible company bloated with tons of customer NO SERVICE. Lots of overpaid management and no workers.

Reason for review: failure to deliver in a timely fashion despite being paid for a service. I ordered 4 packages which were to be delivered via FedEx overnight. I paid over $200 for shipping for a total of ~$5,000 in merchandise. The following day, 3 out of 4 packages arrived. No phone call/e-mail (which I requested) once the merchandise arrived. I asked that it be delivered to the management office of my complex with a required signature... nope! They drop it off at my front door when I'm not home, no signature. $4,500 of supplies, left on my doorstep. Luckily, my management office was amazing enough to go get it and bring it to the office until I got home. That was fail #1.
As for the missing package (fail #2) - I follow up the evening of anticipated delivery and FedEx tells me it will still be there by 8pm as they are "delayed". Long story short, it never made it. At that point, they promise next day delivery (Saturday) because it had arrived at Massachusetts and they'd be driving it to Rhode Island tomorrow morning. They said they'd call me when the truck was en route. Never called. I follow up with them by 10am the next day- they said the truck left 8:28 am and they'd call me as soon as it arrives at the shipment building. I call at noon, then again at 2pm - no one knows where the truck went. It's then 4pm and no follow up (the FedEx in RI closes at 5pm). I call back, and I find out the truck never left Mass. They are going to deliver it Monday now.
No apology, no excuse as to why they can't communicate properly, no follow up throughout this entire process until I initiate the phone calls. This company needs to be seriously revamped because it has no accountability for its actions. They know they can always say "contact your shipper" if something goes wrong. In my profession if you don't do your job efficiently, people die. In the FedEx world, they can completely fail at life and still keep their jobs with no reprimand. The irony truly makes me shake my head in disgust.

Waited 5 days for shipment from Fedex, checked the front door repeatedly on the day delivery was expected (from tracking details/updates). Suddenly, I refresh the tracking and it says package delivered, but there was no package delivered to my home. Fedex has 3 different people call me to verify my address - it was correct from beginning - and ask for physical description of my home. It's house. They all look similar. The street number is clearly printed on uniform black iron mailbox. There's no way to miss my home/address. MAJOR FAIL. Never have issues like this with UPS! Thankfully, most businesses use UPS over FedEx, so it'll be a year or more before it happens again!

I ordered my new phone and FedEx tried to deliver the package to me while I was at work. When I got home I got the door tag that said they could not deliver it. I tried to reroute online, but the system would not allow me to do so. So I called FedEx. They told me the package was scheduled to be delivered the next day at 11 AM. I told them that I would not be there because I worked during the day and that they should not come at that time. The customer service representative called the station and got back to me to say that the package would be delivered the next day at 5 pm. I received a call later that day and FedEx left a voice message that there were no drivers left to redeliver, which was not what the note was supposed to be. So the next day, despite their assurances during my call that the package would be delivered after 5 PM, the tried to deliver the package again at 11 AM, for which I was not there because I was at work, just as I said I was.
So I called FedEx back and explained the situation that the package was supposed to be delivered after 5 PM. Once again they called the station, and got back to me saying that the station understood the situation and would in fact deliver the package after 5 PM. After I left work early and made it home by 4 PM and waited for 2.5 hours for FedEx, I checked the tracking to discover that they tried to redeliver at 1:33 PM, which again is not after 5 PM. Once again I called customer service and they informed me that they could not help me and that all they could do was deliver on Monday at 11 AM while I was at work. I ask to speak to a Manager and they passed me off to a customer advocate who told me that FedEx could not deliver after 5 PM and that I was "misinformed".
Despite my repeated recounts of the events to the FedEx customer advocate she refused to provide any service. Her only statement was FedEx does not have drivers this late and that they could not do anything for me but deliver at 11 AM on Monday, when I was at work, or put it on hold at a facility that was an hour drive from me and I am sick and told them so. They would prefer customers who are sick drive a hour to pick up a package and expose their personnel than to attempt any type of satisfactory resolution. FedEx completely failed to adhere to their commitments to me on the phone, failed to attempt any resolution for me as a customer and was dismissive and unhelpful. My company spends a huge amount of money with FedEx every year and I am exceedingly disappointed in FedEx's integrity in such that they lack integrity.

It took 6 days to get from origin at New Hampshire to my nearest hub in Sacramento. It sat at FedEx for 2 days until they turned it over to USPS. I subscribed to the Blue Apron box meal service. They ship via FedEx ONLY and Friday is my delivery day. I live at the end of the FedEx route. This has been a problem since boxes containing perishable food rides around on a truck from before daybreak until as late as 7:45. And this is in the Alabama heat. I am easy to find since I live on a numbered street that is well marked. And I am the only house in my 9-digit zip code and the only house on my street. The problems come in when the drivers near the end of the day and it is raining, or cold, or hot, or whatever and they will just skip me and deliver on the next business day. The drivers openly tell me that they do this --- because FedEx keeps adding more deliveries without more time.
On Friday, 1/16/16 I was due a package. I was careful to be available so I would get it refrigerated quickly. By 8 PM, the box had not arrived. So I pulled up FedEx tracking and it had a delivery record showing it was delivered at 7:45 PM. I called FedEx and was told that it had been delivered, but as we were talking an additional entry was made saying that delivery was pending. The FedEx guy said that "no problem" that they would deliver it on Monday. I questioned why it was marked "delivered" when it obviously was not. The FedEx employee became belligerent and even more so when I questioned why there were two different entries for the package, one that had appeared during my call. I was called a liar and told that I was trying to pull a scam. He kept referring to people "like me" as nothing but trouble (I live in a mixed upper middle class neighborhood) and said he could cause me no end of trouble.
The next morning a FedEx driver showed up with the package which was wet, dripping and partially collapsed. Needless to say I refused the package --- this is the third time. And I cancelled my Blue Apron account. Not only did FedEx tracking show the package delivered the previous day, apparently this was told to Blue Apron who sent me an email saying that FedEx would keep the box frozen until it was delivered. The driver said this was untrue that it was just sitting behind her van in the warehouse.
But my cell phone had died last Thursday and I needed to buy a new one. I live in Tuscaloosa. FedEx tracking showed that the package reached Birmingham, about 40 miles away, on Sunday afternoon. I tried to retrieve the package from the local FedEx shipping point and was told that even though it was there and accessible and technically my property, someone had added instructions not to deliver it until Friday, 9/23. It appears that someone is making good on the threat to cause me problems. When I returned home from the FedEx office, my mail box had been knocked down. A neighbor said that it was a FedEx truck which seemed to be having trouble making a turn and backed into it in the process. FedEx denies that this happened.
An email was sent to their customer fraud site. FedEx cooked up a story that they had delivered it to the wrong house and had to pick it up. They now contend that they stored it in a non-existent freezer overnight. And that they had every right to hold any package coming to this address until the last possible contractual second --- 7:59 on the 5th business day. I do not have problems with either UPS or the USPS and my house is very visible, and the shipping address is correct. Throughout FedEx employees have refused to give their names or an identifier such as employee number.

I filed a claim on Sep 08, 2016 and they took another week to trace package and were unable to retrieve it. I had Return flights booked for India on Oct 15th, 2016 which I will not be able to take as passport is lost and I cannot get new passport and visa stamped in this time. Total loss because of this delay cost me. Indian Visa stamping fees $156. Cancellation of Return Flights for 3 people : $950+$1200. Expedite passport fees $186.
I have been in contact with FedEx back and forth for the past 3 weeks. I talked to FedEx representatives number of times in last 3 weeks, to track my package and to get status of the claims but it was pretty much same all time that we are trying to trace it. FedEx last sent a check of $100 and said this is as per policy for the loss of package.
FedEx has ruined vacations of my family, that aside they are not even covering the costs of the passport fees. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated. FedEx gouges on customs fees and presents fees when there is no reason to charge them in the first place. There are only two companies in the world that gouge customers to this extent - one being FedEx and the other being DHL. They have both been doing this for years based on the technicality of "there is no competition so we can get away with it". Luckily, such is no longer the case. From my experience it is best to use regular mail rather than FedEx or DHL for any small value international shipments. The much vaunted "service standards" for each are a bunch of hot air, as they are based on actual complaints received rather than on actual on-time deliveries, so you are paying extra for something that does not exist anyways. I was in the business and I know how these statistics are created. Using regular airmail will avoid the gouging and the headaches of dealing with same after the fact!

The driver confirms he dropped my package off, but when he describes the location where he left it, that is not my unit at all. He NEVER even dropped the box off anywhere near my door and now I am stuck in limbo between FedEx and the shipper. Disputing or doing the trace is completely ridiculous if it's just going to be my word that the box was NOT delivered and the driver who claims he dropped it off properly -- which is simply inaccurate.
There was nothing done to help me except an "I'm sorry." Now I have to provide my shipper with an alternative address, which is annoying because I work from home -- so now I have to go out of my way to give a relative's address and then drive to pick up my box all because the FedEx driver was lazy or didn't care that he wasn't in front of my unit when he left the package. I went to the local office and they told me my package shows delivered but I told them I haven't got anything on the date, time and place mentioned. They know who supposed to delivered it, and when confronted him he mentioned it was even delivered at that blue house, and I told him my house isn't even blue...they google my house and showed him. Then he said it was delivered to the wrong address. How could some have an address then leave a mail at totally different address. Either someone doesn't know his ABC requirement job or someone careless, either of them do not have to keep their job. That was a very important document he was messing with...and sorry couldn't make it better. That was a second time happens to me with FedEx express.

I was waiting for a delivery. I live in a locked apartment building, there is a sign - "deliveries at the back" because that door is usually open during the day. Three days the FedEx guy put the "Sorry we missed you" notice on the FRONT DOOR, right above the "deliveries at the back" sign. So, I called the national customer service because I live in traffic hell and I really did not want to go to another city to pick up the package and was trying to have it sent back. They refused to send it back and were extremely rude acting like I was an awful person for not camping out in my front yard in 90+ degree weather for an entire day to catch the delivery guy and making me feel like I am a pest and a liar (I was doing this through the company that I made the order from, so their customer service rep, who was extremely polite was handling the conversation).
When I asked for it to be sent back, the FedEx customer service rep started yelling at me that they made three attempts to deliver, that they were done helping me and that wanting my package was my problem, not theirs. My main issue is just the rudeness. I get delivery people are underpaid and it's frustrating but there is no reason a national customer service should be treating customers like they are bad people for missing deliveries or for asking for information. I avoid using FedEx at all costs. I would rather sit at the DMV or get a root canal than have to deal with this mess again.

After so many failures with deliveries from FedEx the shipper my company has choose to use I decided to take this to social media in hopes that others beware!!! FedEx has built a very undependable reputation of promising packages to reach a destination on a certain day only to not deliver as promised and this happens all the time with them. I am the sales rep and I have no control over who my company ships through. This package was supposed to be delivered over night.
Now after 6 days I am still trying to get the package delivered. Since the package did not get delivered the customer service person that I spoke to who is from Central America (name) Rocio a Customer Advocacy person was unprofessional and lied. Also could not understand most of her comments. Where is this promised package they did not deliver? This package was supposed to be delivered over night!! This morning I spoke to another customer Advocacy person Samantha who has no compassion or skills to do her job. The only thing Samantha did was defend every screw up FedEx did and says she can't help me at this time. I hoping that other companies read this and stop using FedEx. Their name should be very SlowEx. This company sucks big time.

Even I went leasing office 2 times to ask them if they received but nothing was there. There are very important documents inside the package and now the package is not there. My mother and I ordered a 16 pound bag of cat food, 31 pound bag of dog food, 35 pound container of cat litter, and 2 12 packs of wet dog food from Chewy.com to make it easier for my older mother so she doesn't have to pack them into her car and take them out of her car. FedEx delivered it to the wrong house -- the number was a huge difference. At 10AM, and the owner of the house it was delivered to came and told us it was left at their house by mistake. We called FedEx at around 1:30 and told them about the issue, and they said since it was a total of over 100 pounds they'd send a truck to pick it up and deliver it to the right address.
By 3:30, we still didn't have the packages, so we called again and they said they'd have a truck out by 5:30. Still no packages, we called AGAIN and no one had any idea what was going on, and they transferred us to the guys at the terminal and said that since it was 6PM we'd have to wait till the next day since the terminal was closed. My mom and I weren't going to leave it at the house they delivered it to, so we had to pick up over 100 lbs worth of stuff because FedEx LIED, DIDN'T CARE and WOULDN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR HUGE MISTAKE. I paid premium to have a package overnight to me, last week Thursday, August 25, 2016. On Monday night, August 29, I found a door tag that claimed no one was available to receive the delivery, even though I was. Early Tuesday morning, I called FedEx to complain and inquired when my package will arrive; I was assured that I will get it between 8 AM and 8 PM. I complained that I'd rather not spent the whole day for FedEx and the FedEx girl suggested that I sign door tag and repost it on my door. Which I did. Furthermore, I cancelled and/or re-arrange my errands for the day to wait for the package which never came.
This morning, 8/29/16, I called FedEx again, to complain and check the status of my package and I was told a supervisor will called me back within two hours to update me. Four hours or so later, I am yet to get the package or the phone call. I checked their online tracking, and they actually logged that they were here at 3 PM yesterday and no one was available. What a LIE! What a fraud! This is habitual with FedEx. The second time this year. I wish my lab had used UPS. Now I am in a bind, my customer paid premium to get a premium product and service, but, Alas FedEx had done it again. As of 2:22 PM still waiting for a "overnight" package that left California six days ago! Incredulous! I decided to write this to warn other small businesses about this molasses of a company. FedEx refused to take any responsibility for missing packages and denied my claim for a refund, so I will NEVER do business with them again because I lost $300 from their carelessness and I can't trust placing my next package into their hands again. I attempted to deliver a package with FedEx shipping label sticker on it and dropped it off at an official FedEx drop-off box next to a professional building one day, but then it ended up being missing and UNSCANNED. The driver doesn't scan it so therefore it just simply disappeared in thin air with no proof of tracking!
The package is worth $300 and they just don't give a bother when I filled out complaint and claim. I got instantly denied for my claim even with plenty of evidence provided and I was being whisked away on the phone call complaining about them not taking any responsibility. They don't want to help because it wasn't scanned into the system - which is a problem in the first place BECAUSE THEIR DRIVER DOESN'T SCAN EVERYTHING they got from drop-off boxes. I was so upset and wished that they would realize their mistakes and give me a refund.

With a Sony pre-paid printing label in hand. I approach the FedEx counter as the FedEx clerk calls me forward saying: "Hello sir, how can I help you?" As I had the clerk my prepaid Sony printing label I say in response to this question: "I have a Sony dvd player to go back to Sony electronics and a prepaid printing label." I continued by asking him about the cost of the boxes that were on display. He says to me "well those boxes may not be big enough. I have one here in the back." He goes back and brings out a box. He takes my DVD player and put it in the Box he had retrieved from behind the counter and this is where the confusion began.
Scene 2 FED EX STORE WITH CLERK. After looking on his computer screen he says: "I cannot locate Sony electronics name so we can Bill them for your package." The confused look I answered back "well what do you mean you can't bill them. Here is the printing label?" Clerk: "I'm sorry sir I cannot locate the name of the organization that I am to bill for this package. Sony electronics is not named here as one of the parties will accept responsibility for this package." I look at the printing label and I look at the email that Sony has sent me to see if there were any other names that I could give him that he may have on his computer so we can bill for the package. Finding one name I give it to him and sure enough that name there was not located it as well.
Puzzled and somewhat frustrated because my wife is in the hospital and I took 10 minutes to spin off to the FedEx station to get this package out because you were looking forward to getting a replacement DVD player for the one we had purchased six months earlier had broken and Sony said they would send us a new one. So I called Sunny and spoke with representative. After a few moments he was just as puzzled and confused as I was and I said "could you please speak to the clerk" as I handed the clerk the phone that worked up the phone and he position does upside down and kept saying "hello-hello hello!"
Taking the sound back from the clerk the Sony representative could not answer my question. He said "let me contact the billing department." So Sony wanted to contact their billing department to find out what was going on. At that time the clerk said "don't worry about it. We'll just send a package out for free no big deal" but having an understanding of money and its importance to manage well I was eager to make sure that FEDEX got paid for their package and I said: "No sir let me just just hold on a minute. I want to get you your money for the package etc etc..."
But realizing that waiting for Sony in their billing department probably more confusion as my wife waits for my return as she's in the hospital; So I took the clerk's offer of the free package and I said to the FedEx Clerk: "well let's do it that way please." Taking the package he readies the tape and I noticed there's no packing material inside to protect to DVD player from any harm due to shipping as it was the DVD player would just be bouncing around and probably wind up in worse condition and I said to him: "sir could you please put some packing material in the Box?" He replied: "well I'm really not supposed to do this but ok."
Final Scene. Recap. Once again I had come up to the counter I asked him: "how much was the box that was on display?" He said that "the box might not be the size you're looking for so he grabbed one from behind the counter, took my DVD player, put it in the Box without any packing material tape in hand ready to close it. Danny said I cannot find the organization to bill for the Package. So after putting some packing material and he brings out the taste and we get into a little sad but I caution and I come to find out that I had been wasting all this precious time. I repeat. I left my wife to spend on the year. He grab the DVD player, put it in a box and when he said "I don't know what the bill for this package" he was talking about the cost of grabbing my DVD player for my hand putting it in the Box without packing material and pick it up. You paid doing that there's a cost of $10 for that. Yes folks $10.
I put my DVD player and a box and tape it up. This is absolutely ludicrous. It's pathetic. It's scam. It's so pathetic I want to puke right now. Just talking about it it makes me angry. It makes me sick that the company would steal from me and probably the other hundred thousands if not millions of people older people, younger people who may not be too concerned or understand or have those with say why why why am I paying $10 for you to put the DVD player in a box and tape it. Why am I working 45 minutes or maybe even more than an hour for you to do that but that's simple. Are you kidding me America. Are you kidding me FedEx. Somebody do something about this RIPOFF.

The problem I have is that my package was left on my doorstep in the pouring rain for 6 hours. From 1430hrs, when it hadn't arrived yet and I had to go to work, to 2100hrs when I came home to see it soaked and, to top it off, crushed into my door step.
The items I ordered are not supposed to be out in the rain, humidity, heat, etc. I would have expected my package, if not able to be delivered, to be returned to a local FedEx location so that I may at least pick it up myself - or it could have been sent for re-delivery. The last thing I expected was for it to be crushed and completely soaked through from being left in the rain. Luckily the company from which I ordered has excellent customer service and will replace my items if need be. I am disappointed in your company, and do not see a reason for such error. I would appreciate better quality customer service and delivery in the future.

Confirmation number given was "**." At 4:27 PM, no driver had yet showed up, so I called FedEx and asked "when" someone would pick up the package. After looking up my confirmation number, she said that they had in their system that we were open 24 hours. I told her that I never said that, and reiterated what I had told the original person that took my call at 10:00 AM.
She then stated that she could not contact the driver directly, but she could put a request in for a pick on that day - however, she needed to give the driver at least two hours for the pickup (so approximately 6:30 PM). I told her that I was sure someone would still be here and that was fine. Thursday morning, I arrived at my office at 8:00 AM and the FedEx envelope was still sitting on the front desk. I immediately called them, and Vicky in Customer Support told me (after several minutes because she could not locate my confirmation number) that the driver arrived at 4:30, but our offices were closed. NOTE that our office door is always open until the cleaning crew leaves (approx. 9:00 PM) and "they" lock the doors at that time.
These people are idiots. My theory is that, after they find out they screwed up royally, they immediate come up with ANY excuse to cover it up! In this "one" instance, they made three mistakes and lied three times (that I had told them that we were open 24 hours... after calling them a second time that the driver would arrive at 6:30... and that the driver showed up at 4:30, but our office was closed). The driver lied indicating that the package was left on the porch however there was no door tag or anything. The only reason I was notified is because the shipper did so.
I called to report the LIES and was told the claim could take up to 48 hours for review. This was so unacceptable. I checked with neighbors on both sides and in front to make sure the package wasn't delivered to them. It had not been. Then, after the close of business or right before the close of business (AFTER THE RAIN STOPPED AND THE COMPLAINT HAD BEEN FILED) this lying ** came pulling back up to drop the package off. Please explain to me how you can pull up and drop off a package that you claimed had been delivered already? Two days later the supervisor from the hub called me to say the driver must have just delivered it to the one of the neighbors in error.
I explained to her that I had already spoken with the neighbors and that was a lie as well. If he did not want to do his job because he is too freaky lazy or due to the weather he should have stayed at home for the day. Had I not received the confirmation from the shipper FedEx would have gone on with the lie trying to insinuate the package had been delivered and left without a signature. I explained to the supervisor that there was no way the driver had delivered that package. She stated that the driver gave her a description of the house in which the package was left.
Again I asked how could he have left the package at the house if he pulled back up with it when he delivered it. The only thing the supervisor did was to continue to make excuses for the driver. This is horrible service. I have contacted the shipper to inform them that I will no longer do business with them if they are going to use FedEx as their carrier. I would not recommend FedEx to anyone. If you want your packages you had better find another way to get them because for all I know this driver could have been trying to steal my package. FedEx is known for hiring criminals anyway.
This is not the first time I have had an issue with this Jardco Drive location. Once before about 3 years ago a driver lied indicating he had delivered a package to me that was never delivered. It contained a $10,000 settlement check. I literally went in the office and REFUSED to leave until the driver came back to the station to obtained my package. They are horrible, unprofessional, lazy, and a bunch of lying bums. I am NOT happy with them at all. I don't have a receipt for my package to add to this review because one was never provided but I do have a tracking number.

I ordered a laptop a week ago and the package arrived yesterday needing a signature. However, I was unable to sign since I was at work so I called customer service so they would hold it at the facility after work so I could grab it. I go to the facility (1 hour away from where I live) to get the package, but I get there and they say there is a special restriction on it so they can't touch it. I call customer service again and they say they will hold it for pickup the next morning.
The next day, I take the time out of my work day to drive out in the morning to grab it. Upon arrival they tell me to wait in the car and that they will check because there is a chance that it left on a truck. After wasting an hour of time sitting there, I finally told them to have it ready for me that afternoon to pick up after work since I had to go back to work. Still have no idea if I will get the package today. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS EVER BEEN AT WORK WHEN THEY DELIVER EVERY TIME??? Their system is completely flawed and requires a much better solution for customer like me who work 9-5 jobs.

I ordered from a catalog company. Due to their error they were to ship FedEx two day delivery. It is now day four and I still have not received product. Would you use a shipping company that does not honor their commitment??? I rate FedEx with a Zero!!! Date shipped 7/27, it is now 7/30.

So I have given this company a lot of latitude. I understand the difficulties in finding a house or apartment you are scheduled to visit. I also have some close friends who work for Fedex and one who is pretty high up in the company. My wife doesn't work and she homeschools our kids, so there is always someone home. For several years, across three areas I have been on the receiving end of Fedex's business. Almost 80% of deliveries I get through Fedex becomes problematic. Calling them with a dispute is pointless. Expecting the delivery driver to ring a doorbell is like pulling teeth. I have had numerous things delivered to a neighbor, left out in the rain, left at the roadside by my or my neighbors mailbox, and signature required deliveries mysteriously signed for yet never delivered.
For this latest fiasco we were justifiably concerned when Walmart only allowed Fedex for rush packages. We paid for faster delivery in the hopes it would make it before a birthday. Paid for next day delivery 7 days out from the birthday. Walmart drag their feet in shipping a bit, but the tracking of the package stated "picked up" 4 days prior to the date we needed it before. So 3 days to make it through their system until it finally showed out for delivery. The problem is it kept saying "on the truck for delivery for 4 more days."
Now on a Saturday a few days after I needed it, the tracking showed it was delivered. Surprise, surprise, nothing was at my front door, around my mailbox, or on my carport. Walked the street and happened to notice a large box sitting out in one of my neighbors driveways right after a rainstorm today that looked like it may be ours. Or neighbors were not home but not wanting it to get any more damaged in the rain that was threatening, we looked at the label and yep, it was ours.
Now understand that I have been made in the past to pay for shipping a second time due to Fedex refusing to address their drivers not delivering things to us. Usually in those cases I call the local FedEx hub and request them hold the packages and I go and pick it up. I go out of my way, spend my time and gas money to complete the job they are paid to do in most cases. Once we had some fairly expensive electronics shipped through Fedex only to have them refuse the loss claim because they said they had my signature on the receipt. I asked to see this receipt which they could not produce due to a "computer error".
At least the online stores usually will work with you when Fedex fails. I have had this happen in Northern Mississippi, Southern Mississippi, and now South Central Louisiana. Out of those three the North Mississippi guys seemed to at least try, usually leaving things on my neighbors carport (which happened to be my parent's house so not as big a deal). The Southern Mississippi guys are the ones who committed forgery and leaving things just anywhere, and the ones here in Baton Rouge just can't seem to find the right house or get things under an overhang.

Terrible experience with this service. Here in France Fedex is refusing to take my order and schedule the pickup of my bike, because I don't have a french number. They waited until the day that I booked the service to ask me when to pick it up, and now they are refusing to do the service that I already paid. Now I am leaving on Monday and I am worry that this incident will ruin all my plans. I am not from France and don't live here, I am sorry if my phone company back home don't charge me for roaming.

I ordered 4 tires online and FedEx delivered them this morning. They don't even bother to knock or ring the door bell anymore. These brand new tires weren't in a box and the delivery guy just left them on my front porch for anyone to steal. I would appreciate if FedEx would at least start seeing if anyone is home before dumping off my packages. This has happened so many times that I would choose NOT to use this company any longer.

I was expecting a delivery on 7/26/2016 deliver by FedEx. The tracking information said out for delivery. At 4:30 I received a email stating they were unable to deliver package because no one was home. The only thing is I was home all day. I have a driveway alarm and a dog that barks if someone pull in our driveway. Also my wife and I were both sitting where we could see the driveway and the time the driver supposedly tried to deliver the package.
I called the office in Wentworth Ga, where the package was coming from. And my wife called the main FedEx office. Neither one of them would do anything. What is really upsetting is the driver lied. He didn't try to deliver the package and FedEx didn't care that they have dishonest drivers. Other companies would have contacted the driver and made him deliver the package, but not FedEx. I order a lot of things online because of the distance I live from stores. I will not order anything else that has to be delivered by FedEx.

I am very disappointed how FedEx is ripping off their customer for international shipping. I ordered a small package from US. Only $90 + $66 shipping, papers all OK. Under 100$ no extra custom duties. When the package arrived FedEx charged me again $65 for clearance. After many complaints, one of the staff explain to me that the value of the package ($90) is too less so FedEx Broker Service added the $66 shipping charges to the value of the goods (total $156) so the value of $100 exited the free custom duties, and they charge me the same amount for shipping again. So I have to paid Clearance Tax for the FedEx freight cost. This is clearly a ripoff from FedEx. I also will take further actions on this.

Hi. My experience with FedEx was everything but professional. My $550.00 package an electronic item was suppose to be delivered on a Saturday never to showed up. Wasted my whole day!!! While my 76 year old mother is having a 4 to 6 hr surgery. Then when I called no one knew a damn thing then they have a supposedly a supervisor who called me to tell me what I'm already telling them (incompetent) then ping pong me to another individual who did the same thing by saying he didn't know where my $550.00 item. Today is Tuesday and I still don't have it. FedEx is trash when it comes to being professional. From now on go UPS!!! United Parcel Service is truly the best!!! Delivery service globally!

On June 29 2016 I shipped a package FedEx ground, only had to go from Pennsylvania to Ohio but never made it. I was informed by FedEx that the item was damaged in shipping. I filed a claim since the shipment was fully insured but in the words of FedEx "the shipment was not adequately prepared or packed for safe transportation as required under the terms governing this shipment" therefore they refuse to pay out. Now it seems to me that they would still deliver the package or return it to me but I never got anything but a "screw you." To me it seems like straight up theft as the package was never delivered or returned and they never even returned what I paid to ship the item. There really is NO evidence of what happened to the shipment. Was it lost stolen or did they really damage it? I know the item really really had to be abused to damage it.

Package was stolen. My security camera recording showed delivery man just left package there at front door out in the open for people to easily see. Delivery man did not bother to even knock once and just left it where he can place it anywhere out in the open and view. If he even bothered for a few seconds to knock on door, anyone in my family could have answered and checked during anytime. My package wouldn't have been stolen. My family and I orders stuff from online multiple times and other carriers have knocked on doors or ring the doorbell and even waited for us to get our package. I guess it takes common sense for one to give a few seconds thought about it.

I ordered a very important package and paid $250 to have a rush put on the production of the product and the overnight shipping. This rush and shipping charge was as much as the actual product. An hour later I ordered something from UPS, same thing, next day air. FedEx did not deliver. UPS delivered just fine. The worst part? FedEx says it was due to something "out of their control" i.e. a thunderstorm so it is "not their fault". Their entire job is shipping. If a plane has a problem, get a truck, do whatever you need to do, just do your job. For my event tomorrow I now have no marketing materials and am out a total of $500. Thanks FedEx.

Paid for overnight delivery. Package was never delivered. Was only to be told to that it was the weekend. The driver had too many routes to try a second time to deliver package, but I can drive 45 minutes to pick up my package. This service is the worst customer service experience I have ever encounter in my life. Robin the customer service agent was very helpful. My main concern is I was charge for a overnight delivery that never arrived. It came 4 days later. Ask if I could be given a re-fund was told no. Once payment was deducted can't be granted.

Had a piece of equipment shipped to me for work (B2B). When 2 of 3 pallets arrived, I looked online and found that I could no longer track the missing pallet with the same (or any) tracking number as the package had been "delivered". Spent two days on the phone with FedEx trying to figure out where the missing piece is and still no answer. Two frustrating parts (outside of not getting what I need). 1. After several calls, I asked if they could call me with updates as there was no way on the site to find out what was happening. The FedEx official said yes and have heard nothing since. 2. Called in 2x times on a Saturday. Both times I was on hold for 10+ minutes ("Fedex has the lowest LTL rates in the industry!") and then was disconnected. Very disappointed. Terrible customer service and will actively try not to use them in the future. Also, where is my pallet?!? It is a pallet with a 400 lb piece of equipment on it...

Supposedly received pkg at front door on 7/13/16. Pkg not there. Our camera at front porch shows the side of a FedEx guy appearing to put pkg on porch. Can't see his hand, only shoulder. He walks away after reaching down. Tracking showed he left pkg at 11:31 (same time on our camera). No pkg. Waited to call FedEx 5:00. Opened case, they stated they would contact driver. Called 3 hrs later (as they said they would call 2 hrs later but never heard from them). Still no change on the tracking info according to operator. "Somebody will call you tomorrow." No call.
I called noon the next day. Operator stated it was delivered today at 11:16. Yes, it's on my porch. Our street address is actually crossed out on mailing label. Something else written next to it but then that is crossed out also. Operator stated that driver left it at a wrong address and went back to retrieve it. Ok, then why was he at my door on Weds appearing to put something down on porch? We had no other pkgs that day, but he is clearly on my camera. Tracking report from Weds. states pkg was left at doorstep.
Thursday, tracking report changed and shows he did not come here Weds, (shows 6:36 a.m. it was on FedEx truck, no other activity after that for Weds). Current tracking report shows pkg was delivered Thursday. Shows "retrieved shipment" at 11:15 a.m., and 11:16 a.m. was "left at my front door." Do they change tracking reports even when they make a misdelivery? Called to complain about driver and FedEx said they would notify the mgr of local warehouse. Haven't heard from that person yet. I'm going to stick with UPS and US Mail.
