I shipped a package thru FedEx for international delivery with signature on delivery needed. FedEx notification received within few days that the package was delivered with time and date stated. But even after six weeks the recipient party overseas has not received the package. For last three weeks I have requested FedEx customer service to provide me with evidence that the package was delivered and signature obtained on delivery. FedEx customer service has been giving all excuses and has not provided any such evidence to date.

I dropped off my package and was told it would take 2 business days to be delivered. It actually took 4 business days. Their website said that money back guaranteed for late delivery, however when I called FedEx the representative told me that they delivered the package on time and therefore I would not get back the delivery fees. If I were told that the package would have taken more than 2 business days I would have made an alternative arrangement. To add insult to injury the representative was actually defending FedEx on the poor service I received. FedEx will never get my business again! Very poor!!!

I will start with the delivery person total liar. I was home when they said they attempted delivery at 3:09 and there was supposed to be a notice of attempted delivery on my door. Guess what was not on my door. I called to let them know that they probably went to the wrong house and they told me the package would be redelivered tomorrow. Guess what did not happen. That's right. It did not get delivered.

When I called they said, "Wait until 8 then we'll see if it gets delivered." So I waited till 8. It did not come so I called and they told me, "Just really not much we can do right now because all our business locations close at 7." "So why would you tell him to wait until 8 to call if you know your business is closed at 7." No answer, just an apology. This seems sarcastic bunch of idiots. If you want honesty, dependability and all the good characteristics of a good delivery company I would not use FedEx and just found out my package was sent to a new FedEx store and no one can tell me why. Fedex has been around long enough to get their act together. The fact they haven't shows they just don't care.

Ground driver constantly leaves packages that need to be picked up and delivered. After 2 days I asked him to pick them up and he tells me he does not have room. I contacted customer service and they said it will be another day to get a driver back out to pick up the packages. I have complained before to FedEx but the problem never gets fixed. I feel as if their drivers don't care about customers at all. I also sent a email to FedEx and I get a generic auto reply back. I don't understand why a company treats customers this bad.

Yesterday I was informed that they could not deliver my package because the "Business was closed". I'm not sure what that means as this isn't a business and the apartment office was open and staffed all day, additionally I used the FedEx online tool to leave delivery instructions to deliver it to the main office and left a big sign on my door stating all packages should be left with the front office. This is because I would be at work and packages have been stolen when left at the door. However, it appears they never attempted the delivery because there was no door tag left, which I was informed by customer service is required for every attempted delivery.

That night I again left delivery instructions on the fedex online delivery tool, informing them to leave my package with the front office, I then had an online chat with customer service to confirm it would be left with the front office. See Chat Reference Number: ** in which the customer service rep clearly stated they would make sure it is delivered properly. I then called customer service to be sure my package would be left with the front office. I left up the big sign on my door telling the delivery driver to leave the package with the front office. However, despite all that, the driver left it at my door. I am at a loss for how incompetent you need to be to screw that up. On top of that the box was clearly crushed on one side. Pathetic.

FedEx did not live up to its obligation to me when I sent my irreplaceable, signed antique cello bow to a buyer. I paid for overnight service (at great cost) so it would sustain the least handling but it took two days for the cello bow to get there. Even worse, the bow arrived broken. I had wrapped the bow with sufficient bubble wrapping and had placed it in an indestructible plumbers tubing. FedEx said it would not pay the $1,000 I had insured it for since the package wasn't damaged! The reason the package wasn't damaged is because of the indestructible tubing!

I can't even imagine how badly the package was shaken to have broken the cello bow despite how well it was wrapped and encased. After filling out all of the paperwork, sending the required pictures of the damage and wrapping, and having an inspector come to the buyer's home, FedEx paid only $500 out of the $1,000 insurance I had taken out on the item. We not only lost the functioning of an irreplaceable cello bow but also did not get the full amount of the insurance we had paid for. A company should live up to its obligations and not cheat its customers the way FedEx did to me.

Back in December I ordered an item online and the package was scheduled to be delivered within 7 days. Due to a snowstorm they were unable to deliver that day. However, when I called to find out when the package would be delivered the CS rep said they couldn't locate it in the shipment & he would have someone from the trace dept. call me within 48 hours. That did not happen. I called again and a different CS rep in the trace dept. said they never received notification and would put a trace on my package. When I finally heard back from them they found the package and it was delivered 2 weeks later. I am currently waiting on another package that was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago and I have yet to receive it. I wish there were other shipping companies that retailers would use. It's always a guessing game as to when my packages will arrive.

I had created label and all the other documents for a repaired laptop and reading glasses to Canada from Texas. My associate took the laptop and eyeglasses to FedEx Office and paid to pack. I emailed the documents created by FedEx online system to FedEx Office. They print and stick it the box. This is very clearly marked as "International Ground service" available between Canada and USA. When I start tracking it, I notice the package was going the other direction to NM. Still delivery date was 5 days. When I called they assure me it will be delivered on time. It seems to me they were going to deliver Ontario California as I can see delivery ON, CA. When it arrived California, I called and wanted to upgrade to Express (for $350). They assure me they will do it. They keep me calling and telling me all kinds of stories, but actually they were just watching the same tracking page as I do and can not do anything.

HELLO... if a shipment company does not know where is ONTARIO CANADA and ONTARIO CALIFORNIA, then that is NOT TRUSTABLE ANYMORE... They still insist that the package was going the right direction and delivered on time. It sits 5 days in California and someone decided it is time to return to sender. It arrived and FedEx to this day still insists it was not mistakenly shipped to California. They challenge your intelligence. California to Canada is non stop 37 hrs with a car, never mind it is transported with trucks, border etc. In their website the estimated time of ground service between Ontario California to Ontario Canada is 9 business days. Get lost FedEx. It was the last straw. Never give you a penny in my life.

The delivery person clearly is either incompetent or lacks the thought and work ethic needed to work with people. The package wasn't even set to arrive until next week, so you can imagine my surprise finding my soaked pictures on the doorstep. After calling customer service, I found they weren't kind or helpful. It was clear their interests lied elsewhere. Customer service is about listening, not necessarily solving the problem. You have some work to do to join the 21st century FedEx. Now knowing this, the person that delivered my package could have said, "Your package that was to come today with this one was damage," but nope had to call to find out. But they had it in the system as delivered when it wasn't. Had to call the people I order it from to inform them. I was told by them that they had no idea and was not contact about it being any damage and had to call FedEx to even confirm it cause they see like I see that it says it was delivered. So I wasn't inform nor was the place I order it from.

Now I have glass to a table I don't have because of someone in FedEx. Now you'll think that they would try to help but no, they kept trying to put the blame on where I order it from but clearly it was understood that someone in FedEx broke my equipment that I real needed by a certain time. Now I'm here like what am I'm to do now because this was a desk for my office that I needed to open up. Now I can't 'cause I have no workplace. Thanks FedEx.

My order shipped from Memphis to a location in Greensboro, NC. All was well until it said out in transit from my local FedEx location in Greensboro, which is 200 miles NW of here. I called FedEx to see what the problem was, because I had waited most of the morning till around 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon for OVERNIGHT delivery. They said "oops the wrong truck picked it up."

Customer service has not answered a single question of mine, and it still says in transit in Greensboro FOR 24 HOURS. Unless they have truck drivers who work 24/7 without taking a break we must have gotten a really crappy process. FedEx has given me many problems in the past as well. From 9:30 PM deliveries to broken shipments. Just stay clear of FedEx if you can. You choose them as a shipper at your own peril.

I had place a large order on a website with rush processing on 4/11 and the following day 4/12, all of which had upgraded shipping to either 2 day shipping or 3-5 day shipping. The 2 day shipping of course costing a great deal more. All of these packages were shipped the same day the order was placed and estimated delivery for them was the following Friday and Saturday. For whatever reason ALL of these packages said they required a signature to receive the packages. The first and (ONLY) attempt they made to deliver was at 1030 am on a Friday. Any normal person who works a 9-5 is never going to be home during these hours. So they try again the next day on Saturday at 940, again not home. I am at work.

Now here is the part that really pissed me off. They left half of the packages there on Saturday, so the FedEx delivery person left half of the packages with no signatures even though they required it, and then TOOK the other packages that ALSO needed signatures. The confirmation emails said EVERY package needed a signature. So now I am left with half of my order, and apparent FedEx doesn't even consider Monday a "business day" so I have to wait until next Tuesday. An entire week later for 2 day shipping.

I called the number FedEx provides to see if I could schedule a delivery time, not possible. So I tried to have them leave it at a FedEx facility so I could pick it up, also not possible. I received pretty much ZERO help from the broken English phone support other than to have them tell me there was nothing they could do, and rush me off the phone. So there is (literally) no possible way for me to get my packages other than to HOPE that when they attempt the last delivery that I happen to be home. Although after reading other reviews I completely expect them to try the SINGLE redeliver between 9-1030 am on resulting in me having to either track the package to wherever the truck ends up based on what the sad customer support told me. Complete and utter waste of time and money. Will avoid FedEx and their BS in the future. Most definitely will never pay for more than basic shipping from them ever again.

I work, so obviously I wasn't there at 2pm to sign for it, and then we were leaving for vacation so I called the FedEx people and asked them to not deliver since I would be out on vacation. They said that was not possible as by the time I returned it would be 5 days and they will have send the package back to the sender, so I requested them to hold the package at another location so my friend can pick it up. They agreed to it and took down the name of the designated person but they didn't send the package to the requested location. Instead they continued trying to make delivery attempts at my house.

After I returned they said we never got the message and now they will not make another delivery attempt and they will not even send it to the location near my house. They gave me options for 2 locations which were both about 40 minutes drive for me. I requested them to send it to a location so that I can have someone pick it up. They confirmed that it will be there but then it never got there and so now I was not given any option but to drive up to that location which had the package or they will return it back to the sender. Where do I start! We had shipped 9 packages from our older city to the new one, where we were moving. On all the packages we had date certain delivery on 8th of that month and assuming FedEx would be the best choice for the movement, it was our least of worries. But to our surprise, from God knows where, they made 1 of the packs delivered on 3rd of that month, at our leasing office as we hadn't moved there by then. 2 of the packs, they attempted for deliveries the same day and left notes saying 'delivery failed'. 3 of the packs they marked as 'to be picked up by the customer'! Rest were luckily showing the delivery date as 8th. Despite all our talks with the customer care (as they were least willing to be helpful) everything went in vain. A simple thing was made way too complicated by them!

So somehow on 8th they delivered 5 packs after a lot of follow ups. 2 of the packs we picked up from the store. 1 of the bags we collected from the leasing office. And 1 more bag, they have lost it!!! On the top of that, they sent us only the Label it had on it, pasting on a postcard like package and marked it as delivered! We had a lot of damn expensive clothes and God knows what else in there. They weren't even interested in finding it and kept saying will refund when you submit the proofs of things you had in it. Like seriously!! When you are moving and pack some dozen bags, who remembers all the details of stuffs! All I know is I have lost 2 of my expensive jackets and some things which had a lots of memories and are irreplaceable. The customer care sucks!! Literally, the whole experience with FedEx and its Customer Care was unexplainable, considering the amount of pain we had gone through both physically and mentally.

I'm very disappointed with the service for international delivery with FedEx. I'm now on the fifth day my package was supposed to arrive this morning. I was told my package was in the U.S. and Memphis. I received an email stating that the delivery date has changed and no delivery date was available. I have contacted FedEx eight times and I've gotten eight different stories. The first story was that the shipper contacted them and to mail it back to the shipper. And that I needed to contact the shipper regarding that. I contacted the shipper and he was not aware of this. He never contacted FedEx to request a package to be mailed back to him that he paid to send.

I contacted FedEx back again and was told that they contacted the shipper and were told not to mail it back to destroy the package. I was told the package is already destroyed. I spoke to a supervisor by the name of one who told me that it had not been destroyed but the note show but someone had contacted them and told them they didn't want the package back.

I was told at race is being put on the package yesterday. I didn't quired about the scans that I was told the package had arrived in Dubai 3 days ago and in the US yesterday. I was told by another FedEx representative that maybe it was never really scanned but they were just showing that it should have been on that shipment.

Next I was told maybe it's in the origin country still and they were going to contact that facility. That was more than 24 hours ago. I've not heard any answers between the seller and my discussions. This looks very fishy. It looks like there is some true dishonesty going on with this FedEx system. I can't seem to get any answers. I'm just waiting to find out what FedEx comes up with. At this point it looks to be lost. I'm told that the waybill number could have changed. It could be under another FedEx number and I still could get my package today. This is far too much confusion for a carrier to not be able to be specific as to why a package would be shown undeliverable. Something is very wrong here.

Updated on 04/19/2017: As a follow-up to my last review on the undeliverable package. FedEx apparently is investigating theft from the international side. I have no new information other than the package was undeliverable and no reason why. It is been the absolute worst experience to work with an international company that does not follow through on knowing where their package actually is. I was told it reach the United States last week now I'm being told it never left the origin. At this point everyone that was supposed to return my call at FedEx never did all week until the first time this morning after my numerous calls. I will not be dealing with FedEx anymore. They advise the shipper to request a refund. FedEx suspicions theft on their side. I don't know what they're going to do about it but I have no resolution other than the headaches I've had trying to track this package. DHL is far superior, be advised.

When package didn't arrive called FedEx and was told it will be delivered today. Give it an hour. I waited an hour, call back, got the same story. They have until 7 p.m. to deliver it. I spoke to two supervisors. One called the facility in Philadelphia and was told at 6:30 that the driver is done for the day and it will be delivered tomorrow.

This company sucks. I paid for 2 day shipping and have to be inconvenienced after rearranging my schedule to receive it on the day that it was to be delivered and not get it and was told they don't have the manpower to deliver this package that the driver ran out of time. So my package was riding around in their truck all day. This is not the first time that FedEx has done this. They leave notes on the door stating undeliverable when I was there to receive the package. The service is horrible. They take your money and don't deliver on their services then give you some cock-and-bull story about why it wasn't deliver it when it was supposed to be.

I hate this company. If all possible I would never use them for shipping. I never have this issue with UPS. I called Walmart and inform them of the situation and suggested to them not to use FedEx as their shipping method because they don't deliver when they are supposed to. They are lazy and unprofessional and offer you know kind of resolution to the problem. They should not be in business as a shipping company if you can't deliver. The only thing they can tell you is, "Oh you can pick it up." Why in the hell would I pay for shipping to have to go pick something up from their facility? Just do your damn job and stop ripping people off. If I could give them a minus 10 Stars I would. I shouldn't have to make 6 phone calls to FedEx about my package.

I checked the tracking throughout the day, always confirming delivery scheduled for Friday. It didn't happen. At 5:45 pm the tracking was updated to say delivery was scheduled for Saturday. I stayed home, again. Continually checked online tracking, at 6pm still said being that day. No packaged delivered. I knew it wouldn't come on Sunday.

So Monday... checked tracking, it was schedule for delivery Monday...no package. I called FedEx on Monday night, was given a case number, told that the package was within 15 miles of me, had been scanned at 7:17am Monday morning. I was assured that would be delivered on Tuesday. No package. Wednesday, no package. Called FedEx again and told package had been rescanned Tuesday morning at 4:51am and that they didn't have any additional information. Basically, no additional information from what the online site kept saying/updating. Still no package and FedEx not helping at all. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USING FEDEX until their tracking is 1) timely 2) accurate 3) reliable.

I took the day off work to accept a signature only delivery. I tracked the package online and it stated the delivery was on schedule. I called FedEX at 2:30 to check the status and was told I'd get a call back. I never did. It's followed by a series of lies on their part. I was told the package was late because of an address change. I called the shipper and there was no such change involving a UNIT A. The physical address was still the same. Even with the Unit A it would have arrived at my location... I think the bottom line is we have all become too complicit in the game of lies. While on the phone with these so-called customer advocates I found them saying whatever to get me off the phone. I will never use FedEX in the future. If a company is going to ship FedEX I WILL REFUSE. I will exercise my right as a human being to just say NO.

My husband and I so sad and indignant at the unbelievably disgusting delivery service provides by FedEx. We ordered our delivery 2.5 weeks ago. We haven’t received it yet since that time. First time FedEx came when nobody was at home. So my husband called them and asked to cooperate shipping time because we could not be at home all day along. However FedEx doesn’t take into account our own time, they even don’t know approximate time for their shipping. Therefore they didn’t guarantee time and brought our package again when nobody was at home. Next scheduled shipping I took a day off and was waiting for it all day from morning to evening, but they didn’t come at all. We together wasted one more day sitting at home, but they didn’t come again...

One day when my husband called the customer service he had to wait on the phone line for 40 minutes. In spite of this there wasn’t real help. Lately he has called to FedEx and was told that they have already come 5 times so far. They are even impudent enough to say lie - it is an outrageous lie! I don’t understand why instead of doing a simple, normal delivery this company is doing this inconvenient over a long period of time service and lies their customers?! It seems like they don’t know how to do their job!!! Today we arranged our new shipping date again, so I have to take a day off again! And wait again! I hope so much to receive our package. I will see soon, but I know for sure I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

It is not 11:41 and I get the same story that the driver is in my area. Big lie, same as I got an hour ago. I will never use FedEx again. If the company I buy from uses FedEx, I will not use the company. So beware companies, FedEx is not your friend. You will lose business.

My issue with FedEx began when I waited for a pick up on 4/5/17 between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM. I called the company around 8:30 PM expressing my concern that my package had not been picked up. However, the representative stated that the driver indicated that the package had been picked up (which it had not because the box was still in my home). Once again, I scheduled a pick up for the next day, and my home surveillance camera recorded the driver picking up the package at 1:49 PM on Thursday. I had a pre-printed label from Apple, with overnight priority delivery. On Monday, according to FedEx's tracking website, my packages' label had been printed. This doesn't make sense, because my package should have been delivered on Friday to its destinations. I proceeded to contact Apple, and guess what, they have not received the package.

I contacted FedEx, and they started a tracking claim on the package. I was told that a someone would contact me that afternoon as soon as the manager spoke with the driver to see what happened to the package. I did not receive a call on Monday afternoon, so I called FedEx on Tuesday morning to follow up. The representative stated that there were not any additional notes in the system, and that someone would contact me and I didn't have to contact FedEx regarding this matter. Excuse me?? But my $300 package is missing, and yes I WILL continue to contact FedEx, and whomever else I need to contact until my package is located. She continued to try and express her concern, but continued to tell me that I did not have to call. I was told that once an answer has been determined, the tracer team would contact me. I asked how long does this process usually take, and of course she did not have a response.

As I stated to the useless rep, had I received a courtesy call from a manager (or anyone) informing me on Monday that they were still working on my case, that would have pacified me enough to continue waiting, and I would not have had to call them. I was then told, "no they will not call you to update you." What??? What professional company/organization does that? Most companies want their customers to be satisfied, so that they are not writing complaint letters such as this one.

As I walked away the woman again told the representative that I thought I was going to get away without paying. Though the male representative was very polite and helpful, I was extremely angry with how the woman representative addressed me and accused me of something I did not do. She accused me of not paying while I was still using the internet. I did not even attempt to get up out my chair or walk out of the store. There was no reason for her to make that type of accusation. A package was delivered to my door 04/06 and the only thing that matches my address was the apt, city and state and zip code. I called the shipper to advise the package was misdelivered and they arranged for a pickup. No one came. I called FedEx directly to arrange a pick up 04/08. No has arrived as of yet. There were a few factors that contributed to this bad experience. But to start, the delivery was wine and therefore required an adult signature. They tried to deliver on Saturday afternoon, and the delivery slip did not indicate which day they would try to deliver again. On Monday, my roommate (who actually placed this order) tried to schedule a delivery at a certain time because we realized that FedEx does not consider Monday a business day (really??). The result was she was locked out of her FedEx account and the representative on the phone said she could not accept payment over the phone - scheduling your delivery window will cost you $5-$10.

When I tried to schedule the delivery the whole process went through, until I tried to pay and it just said error. There was no way to tell why it didn't work. FedEx attempted to deliver twice before finally catching me home sick. All three delivery attempts were in the afternoon. When the package finally arrived, the delivery agent refused to bring it to the door. He did not check my ID. As he is leaving, he makes a comment about how many times he tried to deliver. This was entirely unnecessary. Why do companies not attempt different delivery times if the person is clearly not home at the same time each day?

Well where the hell was that option when I ordered online? So can I go to the center and pick it up? No I can't. Just gonna stick with Priority shipping and USPS.

On Tuesday May 21, 2017 I was expecting FedEx to pick up a less than 5-pound package of vitamins to be returned to the vitamin company. The FedEx driver had the shipping label. I had a funeral to attend so I left the package on the doorstep with a note "FEDEX PICK-UP". At 10 am UPS delivered 6 tires (worth $600) for my husband and left them in front of my car in the yard (which was directly in front of the door & FedEx package). We get home, my husband checks the tracking on the tires and it says they were delivered. We searched everywhere, no tires.

He called UPS and filed a claim. I checked the FedEx tracking all day, called several times, just to make sure they hadn't picked up the tires. Every time I called, I was told the package hadn't been picked up yet but would be by 8 pm. There was no tracking info online either. So at 8 pm I checked again and it said the package was picked up at 11:30 am and the weight was 50+ pounds. Instead of doing his job and coming to the door, the driver picked up the first thing he found in the yard, which didn't even have my name on it, the tires were shipped via UPS in my husband's name! In my book, that is theft. We were on the phone with FedEx until midnight, trying to get the tires stopped from leaving the local distribution center. Got absolutely no help and kept being transferred to people that could not speak English.

The next morning (Wednesday) the distribution center manager called my husband and said that 4 of the tires were still there because they didn't have a shipping label but 2 of the tires were shipped because the driver put the shipping label (which was supposed to be for a less than 5 pound box of vitamins) on the 2 tires. The 4 tires were delivered Wednesday morning. The manager said he would have to intercept the truck and have the 2 tires expressed back to me. This is now day 3 and I still have not received the 2 tires yet. I don't know if they're on the way to the vitamin company in Nevada, I don't know anything. I've tried several times to call the FedEx corporate office to file a complaint, with no luck. I have had many problems with FedEx but this by far is the worst.

I have ordered a package recently, it cost me $450. It was shipped with FedEx. It was delivered and signed for (by someone I don't know). As you may have guessed, I never received it. Originally the package was mailed to a post office location for General Delivery. It turned out that USPS provided me with the wrong delivery address. The package was delivered to the location where they didn't accept General Delivery. Nevertheless, one of the employees at that station received and signed my package. USPS later admitted the mistake but did nothing to rectify.

Since that particular USPS location didn't accept General Delivery packages, they said they sent it back to the original sender (after signing for it, so FedEx has it as signed for in their system). They didn't call FedEx though to return the package. They sent it via their own service, without tracking information. Whether this is what happened. I will never find out. The package hasn't been received by the sender. When I contacted the seller to inform about the situation, I was accused of being a scammer. They said the package was signed for, hence, for them, it was in my possession. Every question about whether, at least, the shipment was insured, were met with silence. I may come to understand the sender's suspicions, but I can't understand accusations without basis.

Finally, I tried to contact FedEx customer service. I wanted to see what options I had. Five days of trying to get someone's attention on Twitter and Facebook. Finally, someone asked what seemed to be the issue. I explained the situation and asked what my options were. I felt like my questions have disappeared into the abyss. No response ever followed. I then filled out a form on FedEx. Two days later I received a response. Here's the copy-paste version of the response:

"Dear Ms. **: We received your email. Thank you for contacting FedEx. We regret address your concerns via this avenue as you may still have to contact your sender that we are unable to for more information about your package or further arrangement. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for shipping with FedEx. Eduardo ** FedEx Customer Service."

Is this a response you'd expect to receive from a professional company? I have serious doubts the person who replied had even read my message. And then the text of the response itself?? I don't even know what to make of it. I used FedEx in the past quite frequently, and luckily, has never run into any issues. As much as I don't like it, I understand and accept that mistakes happen. What I value is how the issue is being tackled. I appreciate it when a company treats me with respect even if/when the situation can't be resolved in my favor. FedEx has demonstrated a complete lack of respect for their customers, zero desire to help, and total absence of professionalism.

Their excuse was the weather from the east coast, but I got a package from UPS that took only two days from the east coast the day after my order from fedex and not only that they didn't ship it to my house. I had to pick it up, they didn't call me or notify me. I please advise to everyone to don't use. FedEx is a horrible company and the customer service is horrible as well, they don't talk or help you, they are there just to type and nothing else. So about 10:00 I looked up where my package was and it said attempted delivery... what? I've been here all day so I call the company and they tell me that they will redeliver at about 3:00 and the driver has been off already and they have to try and redeliver it tomorrow or I have to be inconvenienced and not to mention I have to use my gas for a package that I already paid for shipping for and go pick it up. This company sucks. Don't use them if you can. Avoid it. They are a rip-off and they will cheap you out of your shipping cost.

We told them that the office does not open until 10am and to put it in the notes because the package was urgent. Again Monday morning driver arrives at 8ish prior to office opening. Again no package and I'm out 61.00. They redelivered Mon afternoon. FedEx refuses to give me credit or a refund.

On 3/09/17 I have sent a package to Roxbury, MA for 8 AM delivery. I was charged about $54. The package was delivered at 11:52 AM the next day (almost 4 hour delay). When I called FedEx customer service on the 10th I was asked to call after 4 or 5 days so that the billing is completed and I will be given credit/refund. I called FedEx on 3/18 and I was told the delay in delivery was weather related so I will neither be given credit nor refund. On 3/9/17 and 3/10 there were no major issues related to weather in PA, NY and MA which is route any reasonable service will take.

So I did not understand what kind of fast one FedEx was pulling on me. I was told that all express packages go to Memphis and from there they are dispatched and Memphis had thunderstorms, and hence the delay. FedEx has an archaic centralized routing system and the route planning is inherently flawed. So when you take your package to your local facility it will go to Memphis, TN or Anchorage, Alaska and hence, there will always be a chance of weather related issue. So in this case I am paying for the inefficient planning system of FedEx.

Another important issue is, currently weather forecasting systems are fairly accurate and 24 hour predictions are useful in planning. So when I am giving the package at my local facility, FedEx should be able to predict that my expected delivery, with a high probability will be off by 4 hrs. Then leave the decision to me, whether to take that risk or not. If FedEx has dummies doing the planning, should I be responsible for their lack of insights into how route planning needs to be done? Well this is the last time I will use FedEx, which not only delayed delivery but not willing to accept its lack of sophisticated route planning system and make me pay for its incompetence.

I have sent emails that were responded to: "Someone will contact you within 24 hrs." Never heard back. The latest incident is still unresolved. I believe the station manager is just holding our package out of spite at this point because I sent in an email complaint.

We had two deliveries expected this past Sat. We are open 99% of the time on Sat. One delivery was coming out of Greeley and one out of Johnstown. The Greeley package was delivered as they usually do but the Johnstown package was not. Instead the driver marked our business as closed. I read this on the tracking update as I sat in my office waiting for the delivery. Of course they promised next business day delivery which would have been Monday. Still no package and as usual still no response from anyone.

I contacted FedEx to find out what happened and they told me that due to weather it would be delivered the next day. 3/10/17, the package never came, I called to request Saturday shipping and was told only Target could, so I called them... to call FedEx... to request it. The tracker for this package has no available shipping info and has not updated since 3/9/17 at 4 AM. I called FedEx to find out what was going on, nobody has any idea where my package is and there is nothing on record of the package.

The package I was receiving was a computer from Dell. FedEx sent me updates via email, and because it was a laptop I would need a signature. I appreciate that. FRIDAY. I wasn't home Friday so they couldn't leave the package. They would deliver on Monday between 10 AM and 3:30 PM. Fair enough. I made arrangements to be home during that time. SATURDAY. I received another email that they tried to deliver but I wasn't home. I was a bit confused since they said Monday. They also have a package for me from Amazon.

MONDAY 10 AM. I receive an email that I wasn't home and that they couldn't leave the package. However, they did leave the package from Amazon. But I am home and there is no package. After a call to FedEx I tell the person the situation and they ask me for the door tag number. There is no door tag. I figure it must've been delivered to a different address, there's no door tag. She tells me that either I wasn't home or the address is wrong on the package. I tell her that I am home and the delivery address on their email is correct. She will call the driver and have them pick up the package and redeliver. I'm also told Fed Ex will call me to let me know it's on the way.

MONDAY 2 PM. I received no call and I called again. I'm told that it will be there by the end of the day. They will call me. MONDAY 4 PM. I received no call and I called again. I'm told that it will be there by the end of the day. They will call me. MONDAY 6 PM. I received no call and when I call them they tell me that it's back at the station and will be delivered tomorrow. I asked about the assurances that it would be delivered today. The person apologizes. I ask if it could be delivered after 3:30 PM. The person tells me that they have placed a note for the driver to deliver the package after 3:30 PM on Tuesday. They give me a number to use to follow the case.

TUESDAY 3:15 PM. I get home and the Amazon package is waiting at the door, and a door tag saying that the computer couldn't be delivered because I wasn't home. I called FedEx and gave them the number for my case and they said they didn't have it on record. They apologized and said the driver would be back, and that the door tag was never entered into their system. They assure me that FedEx will call me in the next hour with an update. TUESDAY 5 PM. No call from Fed Ex, so I call them, and the person gives me another case number, and tells me that the package is back at the station. Perhaps I could drive there and pick it up. I have no interest in driving 2.5 hours round trip in traffic because they have problems doing their job. I ask if they could deliver it to another address tomorrow. They take down the address and assure me this won't be a problem.

WEDNESDAY 3:15 PM. I have a meeting and have only been home 15 minutes. The doorbell rings and there is FedEx with my package. At my home - not the address I asked them to deliver at. I sign for it. I ask if he had instructions to deliver it to a different address. He says that he can't do that. THURSDAY. I get a call from FedEx asking if I received the package, because they would like to close out their ticket on my case. In short. The people on the phone were very polite, but not very helpful. They told me only what I wanted to hear to get me off the phone, and didn't follow through. I would never trust this company with something I need to send, and will ask who the carrier is when I deal with companies in the future. If Dell insists on shipping with Fed Ex this will be my last Dell Computer.

Let me ask you one question: Why would a delivery service that markets itself as the essential alternative for business and personal deliveries only ever DELIVER BETWEEN 9AM-5PM, Monday through Friday? I'll tell you why: because Fed Ex made the decision to conform to normal office hours. This would be fine if, like the United States Postal Service, they were given a key to get into the apartment building to place the packages by the mailboxes. Instead, every time I order products online from a company that uses Fed Ex, I have to WALK a MILE to go PICK UP the PACKAGE DURING my LUNCH BREAK at work. Completely unacceptable. Fed Ex, you're useless. I will never purposefully use your service again. You're a scab on the butt cheek of the American Dream and Capitalism as a whole. How dare you!

I purchased a Japanese style display cabinet over the internet which had to be shipped from Spain and the seller used FedEx. Subsequently I received a phone call from my local FedEx depot saying they couldn't deliver the item as it was broken so I had to go to them to see what had happened. On examining the item it was clear that it had been dropped and the item was completely broken so I took photos and got the manager to sign to say the item was broken on collection. I then contacted FedEx Customer Complaints Department and explained the situation to them, and asked them to reimburse me for my costs.

Over a protracted period they never denied damaging the item but tried to say it was inadequately packaged which was not the case so I was left with no choice but to inform them that I would therefore take them to the Small Claims Court which I did. I won my case but FedEx still refused to pay so I had to issue a warrant and only then did they offer me a part payment which I refused. The warrant was executed and I received the full amount and my costs. I think FedEx's approach is just to ignore complaints in the hope that people will give up and just go away, and in my view FedEx are morally " bankrupt," and if you feel you have a justified complaint don't give up as there are ways of getting a fair outcome, and I for one would never use their services.

Terrible Customer "No" Service is all I can say. I sent a FedEx Priority Overnight item from Riverside, CA to Los Angeles, CA (50 miles) and the package didn't arrive by 10:30 as promised. Client contacted me this afternoon and after I checked the tracking I too noticed it wasn't delivered. I went to the FedEx facility (Magnolia, Riverside) to ask for my refund as FedEx offers a "money back guarantee" even if delivery time is late by "60 seconds," or so they say in the website. When I went in to the facility they said that the item hadn't been delivered on time because the driver was extremely late picking up the packages (FedEx' fault), he was so late that he didn't even scan the packages before taking them. They couldn't refund me the money because they had to do an internal investigation and suggested I contact 1800-GOFEDEX (Memphis, TN).

Brittany, from Bristol, TN, was even worse and I was really disappointed when she tried telling me that the reason it was late was because the package needed to travel from Riverside, CA to the processing center in Memphis, TN. She insisted that the package needed to make a 3,400 mile trip for it to be processed in order to be delivered overnight to Los Angeles (horrible excuse) and since Memphis, TN was experiencing weather problems that FedEx wouldn't honor the money back guarantee. In addition, she insisted that the transaction hadn't posted (even though I paid $33.77 cash for the service) and that FedEx wouldn't help me out.

Poor customer service all around especially since FedEx has in writing a money back guarantee. Before leaving the facility they took my name and number, and said they would follow up but a company of this size and reputation needs to improve customer service. Can't fully express my frustration and disappointed because I was made to feel like I did something wrong or wasn't understanding when from the onset they said the driver showed up late and admitted it was their fault.

My letter carrier has been kind enough to put it inside the mailbox (which is illegal) and also has placed it in a lockbox at the post office (25 mi. away) leaving me a key in the mailbox to pick it up when we go to town. The last time I made a complaint, I was assured that his manager would contact me within 24 hrs. I'm still waiting, that was 6 months ago. Few days later they said that it's stuck in India at Customs. Then finally I received a email stating that they received the box empty. Now the employees say me that they would just give me $100 because I have not paid $10 for full refund. Since I was a new customer so I didn't know about that so it is the fault of employee of Canada Post.

Moreover, I called them to file a claim, the employee from US said that he has filed claim and I will receive a email but next day when I called again, they said that you haven't filed claim form yet. My first experience is that this is the worst company I have ever seen in my life. They can only lie and change their statements again and again but can't help their customers. I want my full money back of insurance and postage because it's not my mistake that I haven't paid $10 for full refund. Overall, I must say that please don't trust this company and send your valuable items.

I ordered an electronic component on the internet. I was notified by FedEx that it would be delivered on Friday between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Perfect, I had Friday off. At noon, I went out to put gas in my car. When I got back, there was a delivery notice on my door. I called FedEx, and after ten minutes of computer prompts, I spoke to a person with such a thick accent I could barely understand them. They said I could pick up my package at the FedEx facility a half hour away after 6:00 pm.

Using the address provided, my GPS led me to a spot a block away from where I needed to go. There was no sign for customer pickup. I had to park in the street with my flashers on. Then empty my pockets and go through a metal detector just to stand in the waiting room while the security guard called about my pickup. They said, "Your package didn't make it back from the truck." They would attempt a second delivery on Saturday. I work until 3:00 on Saturday. The pickup facility closes at 3:00. This is typical of my experience with FedEx. At least it's not 'Home Delivery', which is completely closed on Monday, my next day off.

Every time I get a shipment notice from FedEx, I think, "Oh God, this is going to take days to straighten out." I actually avoid internet businesses that use FedEx. Granted, this is a signature-required package, but I'm not going to let FedEx leave an expensive package on my front steps where it can be stolen or rained on. (I sent instructions to leave the package at the SIDE door. The notice was on the front door.) Their motto should be, "If it's FedEx, it's Fudged Up."

At 8:30 I called customer service and was told that they would have a local representative call me. Basically I am out $183 and they don't where the package is. This has never happened before. FedEx needs to use a call center in the US because I couldn't understand the representative all that. I will contact the place I ordered from and tell them to send the other part of the order a different way.

Updated on 02/25/2017: I just got off the phone with a 'customer service' representative from FedEx. I was told that they tried to deliver a package but in reality they didn't. Now they want me to drive to Mobile Alabama to pick up this package when I paid for home delivery. This is totally unacceptable.

I have been battling this issue for several months now. I use Amazon (and others) quite often. Even after speaking with several (8 to be exact over this time period) Customer Service Personnel (Even 2 at the Local Terminal), the drivers (I am told sub-cons) will go directly to the Office and drop off my packages; No Door Tag... nothing. Only an email stating that it had been delivered to the Office.

In one case, the item was perishable and was left at the office over the weekend. I was not aware at that time to check (now I know) and the item had to be thrown out. This seems to be an issue with FedEx Ground. I have not had this problem with FedEx Home Delivery. It is sad (if not funny) that the representative will go on a speech about leaving a signed note the door accepting the package to be left. When I explained that the Driver had to COME TO THE DOOR FIRST, there was silence on the other end. So beware. If you are expecting a package to be delivered to your Apt Door via FedEx Ground, it is best to check at the office the day that the delivery is scheduled. This is a HUGE Issue and very Poor Customer Service.

FedEx is constantly losing my packages. I ordered a wedding dress and shoes for an out of the country wedding, they lost it and had the nerve to put my name and say it was delivered. I tried to send off an application for something important. The package contained social security card, drivers license, and a lot of personal information with a check. They lost that too. Never scanned in so the tracking # "doesn't exist". I ordered 4 pairs of shoes from a website for an upcoming vacation, for some reason they sent 1 by UPS which I received days ago, FedEx has failed to deliver the other 3 pairs to this day. I'm just waiting for the order to be returned to the shipper and to get a refund at this point. I don't understand why FedEx is so terrible at doing the one thing they're supposed to do... Deliver packages.

The worst thing is to have a package with SS numbers and personal information just floating around somewhere. I could very well become a victim of identity theft all because of them and they just keep telling "We're sorry." Sorry won't keep someone from opening a line of credit with all my information! FedEx sucks. I would've been better off sending by regular mail! Never again will I use FedEx or order from a company that uses FedEx! Just too many important things lost for no damn reason.

Attention FedEx CEO Fred Smith, I have had issues getting packages delivered properly from your company since 2008. My regular driver that knew the area was laid off, and the replacements do not know the area. Recently a regular driver who was making deliveries properly has gone MIA. A new driver was smart enough to be in the correct area, but could not find my house as he drove by twice. I had to run four blocks to catch him and retrieve my package. It is not the drivers fault, it is your fault and FedEx hierarchy. The drivers need GPS and a steady area, and you need to retain good workers.

I called customer service consistently for 9 years about this very same situation, so it is clear that you are at fault and not the driver. Moreover, I received a neighbors package in 2008, called customer service, and left it on the porch for pickup for three months. Multiple calls to FedEx had fell on deaf ears and the package stayed on the porch for a full year. However, it is 2017 and the package was not picked up. I am sure that same things would happen to my packages if I did not run after your drivers. Very often the drivers are across town trying to deliver my packages in the wrong neighborhoods, and your customer service has no means to contact the driver to make corrections or help them out. You need GPS in your trucks, and or map books! You need to give drivers a regular area and try and maintain a steady workforce of regular employees.

The truck had numerous mechanical problems which the owner did not acknowledge (due to a language barrier -- the owner does not speak english very well). The subcontractor is now withholding my son's last paycheck because he wants to examine the truck and deduct the cost to repair the truck from my son's pay. Fedex has been unwilling to properly help me locate a $325 package which they lost, creating extreme problems for my business. A Fedex driver has picked up my package from my building. The driver did not scan the box at pick up and it has completely vanished. All avenues of Fedex customer service have shown complete disinterest in helping me locate the box and resolve the issue.

I was initially told that the box was not with Fedex since their driver did not scan it. When I informed them that my building had camera footage of the driver picking up the box, I was asked if camera footage showed the tracking number on the box to prove Fedex had it, instead of asking me any details to help locate the box. Ridiculous.

I have made several calls and stressed just what significant issues this was causing me, since the box contained a product sample, let alone the fact that it was a $325 item. No representative made any reasonable effort to assist, telling me that it could have been any NY Fedex driver, who could have taken the box to any of the numerous NY Fedex locations so they can't help me. What kind of operation is this?

I started an online claim with Fedex. Nobody contacted me from Fedex to get details or try to assist further. I simply received an email stating that my claim was over and that I should expect an answer by mail, which never came. I contacted Fedex again via their website and was told: "The claim filed for this shipment has been denied. We sincerely regret that we did not resolve your claim to your satisfaction." Of course, I will never use Fedex again, as the damage they've done is possibly irreversible and this attitude is absolutely crazy. I urge everyone to avoid Fedex at all costs, particularly if you have an important shipment.

But FedEx has taken it to Ellenwood Georgia and they have given it to the USPS for delivery. Ellenwood Georgia is below Atlanta. The small USPS post office here in Deer Lodge has been cut back to only open a half day and closed completely on Saturday. FedEx and others have been given the lucrative package delivery while the USPS has been left with envelopes. Thanks to our thieving politicians. If FedEx and others had to deliver all the mail, they would raise their prices to the moon or go out of business. The little post office here has been in business for many years but it may be closed for lack of funds. Why have the politicians allowed this to happen. The answer is certainly not efficiency. I said to myself maybe they're running late so I stood outside waiting for a packaged I ordered for my mother and step fathers anniversary that I paid 250.00 for. And still NO FEDEX. It's now 6 pm. I checked my tracking and this time it said "package delivered". No signature required...

Okay first of all I stated in my comments do not leave my package at my door and require a signature. Second I never even seen FedEx on my block so number 1. They either were too lazy to deliver it. 2. They left it at the wrong house. 3. Or they took it home. Because when I called FedEx to make a complaint someone from customer service told me my package was delivered at 11am. This is all lies and if my package was supposedly be ''delivered'' at 11am how come when I checked the tracking number at 3pm it stated still out for delivery. I made a complaint so someone was to contact me in 2 hours that never happened the next day.

No one still never got back in contact with me so I called FedEx back again. Now it's an open investigation. So I contacted the company I bought the item from and they stated that a lot of customers haven't been receiving their things from FedEx. And that they will replace my money if they can't get any clarity with FedEx. This is sad because FedEx never ever take responsibility. I hate FedEx. Further, when a complaint is made there is zero follow through. UPS always places in porch and obtains signature. The above rating should be zero stars. I have never rated a company or posted a complaint prior to my dealings with FedEx, but my experience was so bad, that I opened an account here solely for that purpose. Absolutely, hands down, the worst experience I've ever had with any company, period. The below, brief description cannot possibly convey the frustration and anger I have for this company.

First note that I have previously set up countless accounts online with numerous companies and never had issues. The FedEx website is completely unusable. I've had to call customer support every time I get on the website, which has amounted to a minimum of 5 phone calls over the last week. Every new thing you do on the website requires a new registration (e.g. you have to register an account, then register to view or pay bills online separately). It is impossible to find anything on the website as well because everything is under an obscure drop-down menu under an unexpected category. When I tried to enter information into the website, I would clearly see my information typed into the box, but would get an error message telling me I needed to enter the information. After numerous attempts, the website expired.

Calling customer service will get you an automated message asking you to select from inapplicable categories and ask you for information you don't have. I had to spend several hours on the phone with them talking me through the worthless website, which begs the question: if this much input is necessary for the website, why even have a website? Note that they can't do any of the stuff for you over the phone. Additionally, while I was on the phone figuring out how to ship a package to Canada, they never mentioned anything about printing off customs documents. Nor did the individual who picked up the package. Thus the package was returned the following day and I was billed for it. I believe the phrase "going postal" was in reference to dealings with FedEx. For your own sanity, avoid this company at all cost and especially avoid their website.

This is even without any notice of bad weather, etc. The three or four reps I spoke with did not mention anything about inclement weather, etc., only that there is no information regarding the package. I am the receiver and have been the receiver for these packages not received on time, so I will definitely not send FedEx.

I have a concern with FedEx customer service communication or serious networking error. I had scheduled a 6 package pickup on Jan 12th. The zip code is 51503. I received a phone call from a FedEx dispatch stating that I need to call customer service and have them change the zip code from 51305 to the correct zip code of 51503 otherwise my shipment will not be picked up. I did call customer service and straighten it out... so I thought. I then received a call on Jan 13th telling me my address doesn't exist in the zip code area of 51053. So again I call the 1800 number to straighten it out. On Sat Jan 14th I received a call confirming pickup at my address with the wrong zip code again. Once again I straighten it out. Come Monday Jan 16th I received a call stating pickup will not be that day due to weather it had been rescheduled for Jan 17th.

At 3pm Jan 17th I called customer service to see why my packages had not been picked up. I was told the driver could not find my address at zip code 51053. Still incorrect zip code. So I straighten it out again giving the correct zip code and was told pickup was now scheduled for the following day. I then immediately call customer service back just to make sure they still had the correct zip code. Turns out they had the wrong zip code again even after all that I'd been through with correcting customer service. How can this be? This is crazy. So I asked to speak with a manager and told her how many times I've corrected this zip code issue. She assures me they have the correct zip code in their system now for my address and that pickup is now scheduled for Jan 18th.

If you've actually read this far you have to understand my frustration and know you have a serious communication issue within this company's customer service and network... To say the least I am very disappointed and frustrated with FedEx service and will never use FedEx again as well as tell everyone I know and everyone I meet to never use their services.

When I originally received my tracking number it stated 1/16/2017. I checked it on that date and the delivery date changed to by the end of the day 1/17/2017 so I checked it the following day. The delivery date never changed but FedEx delivered my package to the post office that is literally a block and 1/2 from my home AFTER my mail already ran for the day so I therefore won't be receiving my package until 1/18/2017. This has happened numerous times before where my packages that come via FedEx don't arrive until minimum 2 days after they're stated delivery date. FedEx is HORRIBLE and not good on their word of the correct delivery dates.

I'll also mention that this package is a subscription package that will be coming monthly so when I contacted FedEx to see if they could flag my address and have my packages delivered right to my door instead of the Post Office (then the post office delivers it to my door) a block and 1/2 from my house the customer service representative was rude and continued to tell me it's no longer FedEx's problem and that I should contact USPS. Um... what?!?! My package was sent via FedEx. FedEx is responsible for giving customers correct delivery dates and if they're going to use USPS then they should factor in the potential time it will take USPS to deliver the package as well so the delivery date is accurate!

To follow true to my word I will gladly leave a review of FedEx's service every time I have a package come through them which will be at least once a MONTH until FedEx steps up and takes responsibility for their horrible shipping and service, changes their business ways to put their customers first and FedEx stops giving FALSE INFORMATION to its customers.

Relying on FedEx has been an absolute nightmare. Not once or twice but several times. Each "representative" tells you something different just to get you off the phone with no intention of getting your package picked up or sent. I have never gotten upset with any company the way I have with FedEx customer service. There isn't any real customer service. This is the first time I've had to deal one on one with them and it's been one lie/problem after another. I honestly have no clue how this company has gotten away with this for so long. You think "big company" the customer always right. Wrong. The customer is always wrong at FedEx and they don't care because they know you most likely won't have a choice but to use them again. According to FedEx tracking, my order was on the delivery truck two days in a row, but the driver was too lazy to come to my house. He drives right by my turnoff, but didn't bring my order. The company from which I order is in a state other than where I live. FedEx posted on the tracking that delivery wasn't attempted due to extreme weather. Since the pet food company is in another state, they don't have a clue what the weather is like. The two days the driver didn't deliver was the nicest weather we've had in a month. The sun was shining, the HWY was dry and clear and the road to my home was plowed. There is no excuse for my order not to be delivered except pure laziness on the part of the FedEx driver.

The first time I called they told me it was delivered at my garage door but I'm not understanding why the delivery driver will put the package at my garage door when I clearly put a note letting the driver know to leave my package between my screen door. The first representative apologize for my inconvenience and told me that my package will arrive around 5 that same day!

5:00 come around still no package so I called back and they explained to me that my package was delivered. Instead of reading all the notes that was put into their system that representative was very short with me and obviously didn't want to do their job! So I asked was there any updated note? Instead of looking she passed me to another rep and that individual explained to me that someone had already picked up the package and it should be delivered a little bit after 6 (that also never happen).

I called back again but this time I called the actual location that it was shipped from! The representative told me that he would contact the shipping and distribution location to see if the driver picked up the package yet. After waiting for almost 10 minutes to find out where my package was located the rep told me that my package still wasn't picked up and most likely I will receive it on Saturday or Tuesday.

Once again they took down my phone number and told me that somebody will contact me as soon as the driver go back to pick up my package. On top of everything I was told yesterday he had the nerve to have an attitude. But he did say my package will be delivered before the night is over. NEVER HAPPENED!!!

Well it's Saturday morning on January 14, 2017 I called again still no updated information and still no package or phone call. BUT they took down my number AGAIN and told me that someone will contact me as soon as my package was picked up from the WRONG address!!! I'm done with FedEx!! I elected to pick my package up from the facility. I get a phone call from them stating that I can't pick the package up until Monday because they are understaffed and aren't going to break down any new freight. Let's forget about customer service and instead - as easier options have already been put in place because you botch up deliveries - now offer customers the option of coming to the facility and breaking down the freight for you too so customers can receive their property within the time frame promised. If you want to passively deny quality customer service, I definitely recommend FedEx.

I ordered a product off of eBay and it was shipped via FedEx. Everything was going well, then I checked my order status and it showed the product had been dropped off at my front door and did not require a signature. Firstly, this item was being shipped to my motel. My motel is open 24/7. There was no way the FedEx driver would have dropped off my package at the front door. The lobby is always open.

Before I filed my complaint, I wanted to make sure I had all the information I needed before I called. I have a security system installed at this motel. There are a total of 32 cameras on this property. I checked eight hours before and after the drop off time listed with the tracking number. There was never a FedEx at my property at all during that period.

I called FedEx to let them know what had occurred. After taking down my information, I was told someone would be calling me within two hours. That would never happen. I called FedEx again a few hours later and they told me the same thing. I explained to the employee that I have a security system on this property and there was no FedEx driver on my property the day in question. Again, I was told someone would contact me in two hours. No one called me back again.

After this failed, I went on their website and filled out a question/complaint form. I sent that to Fedex and never got any response within the allotted time. The site states to allow 48 hours for a response to the inquiry. Again, no response. During this time, I contacted the eBay seller and told him of the situation as well. He stated, he would contact eBay the next morning.

I was about to contact FedEx again the following day when a person showed up in my lobby and dropped off a package which was delivered to him. It was my order. The FedEx driver had delivered my package to the wrong address. I notified the eBay seller and told him everything was fine. I told him that I would wait for FedEx to contact me to let them know what had happened.

I have never received any communication from FedEx, verbal or written about this matter. I have cameras. I can verify everything. I saved everything to a flash drive if they are interested in knowing what happened. I guess they just don't care that their employee made a mistake. Maybe they thought I would just go away. Maybe, because I had cameras, they knew I wasn't lying, so they would have to actually fix a screwup. No one at that company ever stepped up to find out what happened.

It's been over two weeks and still nothing. Not even a call, supposedly it's under investigation, how hard is it to investigate. The driver screwed up. Plain and simple. I ordered a package on 1/6/17 through FedEx and was promised a delivery date on 1/10/17, but it got held up in Troutdale Oregon due to weather conditions. This package is a computer case that is very essential to my new college computer for online school. When left Troutdale last night, I said departed at 8:46 pm, so I am jumping up and down saying "yay, there is hope yet that it will appear before next Monday" which is when my motherboard, the last component, is due to arrive. So I am waiting for my tracking info to get updated to tell me where my item is. I waited until about 11 am, then I went on chat and talked with a person who was helpful and they told me the package was in Bend Oregon and that was their last known location. I look back at the tracking info and it still says "last known location was Troutdale".

Now I am thinking to myself "are they really just too lazy to give me, the buyer, the info where my package is that I paid for?" Now when it comes to a company shipping my product that I pay for out of my pocket to have an item I want, I expect when they give me a date they are bringing the package, I expect it to be delivered on that date. I have about 6 more items. 5 are due here tomorrow (huh I guess we will see), and another due here by Monday (I guess we will see there too). At least UPS getting their big boy and big girl pants on and puts chains on their vehicles and makes those deliveries to the person no matter the weather. I don't too much like FedEx, but the site I ordered from doesn't give me the option to pick UPS (or else I would have choose them).

Now have in mind, YES, I am very angry because my computer is borderline frying and I need a new computer, and yes maybe I am a little obsessive and impatient, but I was given a date and time my package would be delivered and when they stopped that then they shown they pretty much run on their own time despite the customer's plans. Which mine are very important since I doing all my college online and I have a live video chat for my math that requires specific computer build requirements. I like to relax and enjoy life, but when I am waiting for a package I pay for that has a tracking number and they just stop updating it because they are lazy, then that makes me wonder and say to myself "if I do this are they going to just stick a door tag on my door after just standing there for 10 seconds and say 'sorry we missed you'?" As I watch a UPS truck drive by my house thinking why couldn't my package be on that truck.

Now I don't mean to complain. In a way actually I do. But when I PAY REAL MONEY for an item I PAY for, THEN I DAMN WELL EXPECT that when they say they are getting it to my house on a certain date, THAT I DON'T HAVE TO CAMP OUTSIDE MY WINDOW wondering if I wasted my day away and if the package will ever appear. I will make sure that I use UPS from now on and I will use people I know to jump through those hoops because this is **. I expect better service from a company that gets paid to make people happy. Happy customer means they use you more. Unhappy customer usually means lots of lawsuits.

UPDATED ON 01/16/2017: I ordered a package on 1/11/17 that was supposed to be here on Friday the 13th of January 2017 and never showed. When it didn't show I was watching the tracking number and it said not available for an estimated delivery window. Now here's the bad part, I paid $20 in my money to get it here in 3 DAYS, that means it should be here today right. Well I called up FedEx asking them if they can update me as to where my package is and I had the same issue with my case except it updated me and arrived on the 13th. And they said "we will look into where it is at and will open an investigation."

A lady calls me back saying that the label may have fell off and is still in the facility in California. Now get in mind I live in JOHN DAY OREGON. Now I said "what, and you guys didn't have the respect and time to call and let me know this so it could be resolved." They said "we didn't know about this," now get in mind I am speaking to one of the administrators who handles shipping for FedEx, and she said she will watch to see if any movement happens and will contact me again on Thursday. And if nothing happens by the 24th then she will call the shipper.

At this point I am furious and she can tell, I told her "I don't have until Thursday or the 24th, I need these parts NOW because I am an online COLLEGE student who does a live video chat for math that requires higher upgraded parts and right now my computer is on the verge of complete failure". Now she say "I am sorry for the issue of this" and she can't do anything with the shipping company over there. I said "really," I told her "I don't mean to be rude but I was told by YOU (as in her) that you are an ADMINISTRATOR of the shipping company so that means you can do something about it. These parts I paid $20 for shipping to be here in three days and Monday the latest because it is required for my college computer build that I paid over $500 for."

So I end the conversation with her and go straight to one of the administrators who shipped my package which would be Newegg. And I tell them my situation and the person said they can't do anything regarding the FedEx shipping department but my packages should arrive today. That put a little ease in my heart but then he asks me to contact FedEx to find the package and I told him they said It's still in California and he said "well I don't know what to do there because he can't see what FedEx is doing as in when and where they ship." So I am thinking in the back of my head that he doesn't even know if that package is sent.

By this time I am panicking and very furious, I will never use FedEx again after this incident because they just are not that reliable anymore. About 5 years ago I ordered my first PC and they rushed it here super quick and so I thought, maybe they are still reliable and can do I again. Man o man I couldn't be more wrong. At least UPS gets my packages to me on time and I actually know one of the UPS shippers because he is my dad's friend's son's best friend and knows who I am and gets things shipped despite the weather.

Frozen biological samples were shipped International Priority from Seattle, WA to Tokyo, Japan in DRY ICE on Dec 19, 2016 with an estimated delivery on Dec 21, 2016. Called FedEx to get shipping charges removed for a shipment that was not delivered on time and getting my samples destroyed and was put in touch with DANIELLE **. Danielle ** did not understand the issue at hand and repeatedly pointed out FedEx terms and conditions, where money-back guarantee was not available during Dec 19 to Jan 3. She then went further to point out the fact that because the package contained DRY ICE, the money-back guarantee would not apply anyway even if sent on different dates.

Next, she pointed out that the terms and conditions were available to me online 24 hours, 7 days a week and repeatedly tried to get off the phone by saying, "is there anything else I could help you with". I asked her multiple times to please stay on the phone with me while I read over the terms and conditions. Her reply every minute was, "was there anything else I could help you with". My issue is, if I am sending a sample with DRY ICE and shipping it international PRIORITY, there should be a pop-up or a warning letting the sender know the POSSIBILITY of DELAYED shipment! That way this problem could have been avoided by NOT SENDING THE SAMPLES!

I am writing this review because this is the second attempt at sending my frozen biological samples to collaborators in Japan and FedEx not delivering on their promised date! This is the second time my samples have been destroyed and no compensation has been made. FedEx shifts blame on customs. However, then WHY promise a date that can't be made?! They should underpromise and overdeliver! Lastly, they need to train their customer service representatives to be more patient and understanding even if they do not want to be! That's part of the job description as a customer service rep! Danielle ** of FedEx should be given a performance review and previous calls re-examined.

Over the last month, I have had several deliveries utilizing all 3 primary methods of postage/shipping/receiving including FEDEX, UPS, USPS. FEDEX delays delivery until the very last listed delivery day within the scheduled delivery time frame listed by each corporation after making a purchase, rather than the earliest delivery date. FEDEX customarily delivered earlier than most other forms of shipping in the United States. That is no longer true. Moreover, storm notices are often listed at the banner atop their website, of course especially during winter months.

However, if consumers track deliveries, sometimes trucks are not near the storm path, but are within a few hours or closer to the consumer address. Drivers sometimes wholly failing to update customers that request tracking notices on their electronic devices, abandoning all communication to conceal their location. With a shipment history that FEDEX has enjoyed for generations, this new activity is frustrating customers but the excessive delay impedes progress for United States business. Delay also creates a greater risk of theft.

One recent experience with Wayfair.com resulted in my delivery product sitting on a FEDEX truck throughout the weekend, which was but an hour away from my home. Anyone could have broken into that truck and stolen all of the goods he had stored undelivered in his truck from Friday evening to this afternoon on Monday when the item was finally delivered. I received no notice from the FEDEX driver until Wayfair.com escalated the search for the FEDEX truck. Authorities were contacted. Suddenly, I received a slew of tracking notices from the driver as to where the item was and when it would be delivered.

Another delivery from Jet.com - FEDEX driver made through most of the top tier states in the nation... snowstorms and all. Then sat in Kent, NY from Friday until this morning when he decided to drive up to Connecticut. Still only 4 hours from my home, with clear roads today on the East Coast. No excuses. He did not go very far from his weekend location in Kent, NY. Taking his time, this FEDEX driver, too, is waiting until the very last scheduled delivery day. Bad business practices by shipping handlers require new legislation.

Therefore, I urge all that experience similar conditions with FEDEX to contact their members of Congress and senators to set new guidelines for delivery services within the 48 contiguous states so that the consumer is protected, and unnecessary delays do not result in theft. If shipment by a FEDEX driver is excessively delayed, close to your location, but is being withheld by the driver who is not communicating with you, call the state police to find the truck and determine what is going on. I worked for FEDEX as a supervisor in Durham, North Carolina in 2006. This consistent delivery delay activity is wrong.

Then they say they can't guarantee a certain time. Some of their customer service people don't give a hoot about the customer and I can call back and talk to a different person and get a different answer. Then they want to argue with you when you ask for a credit because the delivery did not arrive on the day it should have arrived.

These are payroll checks, I cannot allow an employee to get paid late because FedEx doesn't have procedures in place for delays, etc. I know it rained in the city I sent the package to, but it did not snow so I'm not sure what caused the delay. They told me it got on the truck late, which is not my fault. I'm just done. Worst delivery service I've ever dealt with and they don't care.

I waited all day at home for my package and no one ever knocked on my door. I check tracking and now it says that I wasn't home when I have been waiting like a dog waits for their owner to come home. Tracking says that a slip was left on my door and there is nothing on, at, or around my door. So I call Customer Service and was told I have to wait till Monday for delivery or drive over an hour away to pick up my package! I work hard for my money and all I wanted was my new phone I ordered, and now I have to wait till Monday (if they decide to show up). I am so very upset that I am crying. How can FedEx be so careless and disrespectful to customers? I hope no one uses FedEx because I will no longer be requesting services from them! #fedex #upset #fedexsucks

I had a $300 dollar item stolen from my front porch thanks to the FedEx driver just leaving it there when we were on vacation. Apparently FedEx charges the vendor to require a signature and takes no responsibility and leaves it to "driver discretion" as to whether to leave something. My vendor didn't require a signature and refuses to re-ship. Just don't use FedEx or vendors that use FedEx.

I ordered a phone that was supposed to come Monday but not. It's Wednesday and still not here. A truck drove by and didn't even stop. It's been in Wilmington for like 8 hours. Just try not to get FedEx 'cause it sucks.

When I called them and asked why it was taking so long for it to get here, they said it was shipped standard being 4-5 business days. They basically said they have the right to sit on the package till the fifth day even though it could have been here 3 days sooner. To get here sooner I should have paid the extra. Hell UPS and USPS ground have been delivered in 3-5 DAYS not business days.

Package was in local city overnight on the scheduled delivery date. Out for shipment that morning. Weather was unseasonably warm and dry that day for Michigan. Was above 40, and in late December in Michigan that is nice weather. That night they posted "Local weather delay - Delivery not attempted" which is an outright lie, had nothing to do with weather. Now another 2 business days later, still no package. They CLAIM it's scheduled for tomorrow. This was a 2-day priority delivery, not a whenever you feel like it a week later delivery. Never using FedEx again.

Where to begin? I was expecting my package to be simply delivered through FedEx as I watched tracking for two days. I could see the status via email went to delivered. I went to the front door to find no package. This is on December 31 2016. I was expecting this package as it was a gift to a dear family member that I was to give it to that evening at a New Year's eve party. It was a very big event that was basically ruined due to FedEx in their process. I called immediately to speak to their tracking and recovery team which was basically useless. They told me they have no way to track their drivers or to know where the package was delivered.

A multi million dollar company and they don't know whether drivers are at? I find that fascinating. It's hard to believe. They told me they would call me back in two hours and they did not. So I repeatedly call them two other times for the same runaround and virtually no help. They did not send the driver back out to retrieve the package as they promised, and our evening was ruined. Today is January 2, 2017 and my neighbor brings the package to my front door. The package was clearly marked with my address yet in a hurry was delivered to the wrong home. Thank goodness they're still good people in the world. In the end, buyer beware. If I have any say so I will never use FEDEX shipping company again. Their lack of commitment to customer service, storytelling to pacify and inability to handle simple tasks to execute is less than desirable.

I ordered from Walmart.com to have an item shipped to my house for my son for Christmas. It was guaranteed to be delivered on 12/23/16. My package ended up going from Kearny, New Jersey to Livonia, Michigan. Over 600 miles away from where I live in Vermont. When I called FedEx to get the package sent to the right address, the CSR told me the only thing she could do was hold my package at the Livonia, Michigan facility for me to pick up in person. When I told her I'm not driving 600 miles 1 way to get a package they sent to the wrong state, she told me she was transferring me to her supervisor and then hung up on me.

This is not the 1st time FedEx has seriously screwed up. This company faces 0 accountability, their CSR consistently misrepresents info on resolutions. I actually caught 2 of their CSR giving conflicting info on my package. Raul who I was talking to on the phone told me they had found my package and were preparing it to be shipped to me and at the same time received a private message on Facebook from another CSR saying that my package was lost. Who do I believe in a case like this? The rep on the phone or the FedEx media rep on Facebook. Their so-called tracing department hasn't even called or emailed me the info on the package that they're supposed to finding. If I could give 0 stars for their service I would.

A bit long but shows the disregard of customer service. The package was supposed to arrive December 20th. On the 21st Fedex sent me a notice stating it would arrive on the 27th. On the 28th I received another notice. Yes once again I received the notice the day after it was supposed to be delivered to my door. I looked at where the package has been. OH to Chino to Los Angeles to Chino to Los Angeles. I live in the mountains about 50 miles east of Chino, and a bit further from Los Angeles.

I called Fedex. I was told they would deliver to USPS on Saturday December 31. I explained to the lady, a bit rude she was, that the USPS does not deliver to homes in the mountain area. She then began talking again how it would be delivered to the USPS and they would deliver it to my house. I was explaining again and she started talking and would not stop. When she did finally stop I tried again and she started talking over me. I asked her to quit interrupting and to please listen to me. I told her of the way the USPS works in the mountains. She then put me on hold. She might have been having a cup of coffee or reading the newspaper. About seven minutes later she said the same thing. I said the USPS would not accept the package and it would be returned to sender. She said the same thing again. I said speaking to her was pointless as she would not do anything to help Fedex do its job. I said goodbye.

Today is Saturday 12/31/2016. Fedex did not send me a notification. I went looking at the tracking number and it has been returned to sender because the USPS office would not accept it. UPS has been delivering packages to my home once or twice a month. The one time UPS could not deliver due to snow they called. They left it at one of their offices so we could pick it up. I receive medical supplies to my home monthly. The USPS may not be fast, but they do deliver to my PO Box and to places I send packages and letters to. Ten years ago I was working for a large corporation. Fedex was best this side of Colorado and UPS the other side. Of course UPS was for all international deliveries. Since that time Fedex has become a bit larger, but they seem to have forgotten that customer loyalty will keep your company alive and thriving.

FedEx is terrible. Every single time I get a package from FedEx it's always 3 days late and they always lie about their reasons. For example 2 days ago there's a storm that ended at noon and the roads are completely clear by 1. I had other packages delivered by UPS and USPS during the storm though the storm was long over by 5 p.m. FedEx claim that their delivery driver couldn't deliver because of the storm and went in at 5 hours after the storm was over. Now yesterday they claim customer not here or business closed is why they didn't deliver. Yesterday I sat on my couch all day and waited. They never came and then lied about why they didn't deliver.

And now here I am waiting all day today and they still haven't delivered and if you call they're rude and obnoxious and give you the runaround and just don't care. FedEx is terrible. Never use them. The other services - UPS USPS all of the other ones - if they say it's going to be delivered at this date and time it's delivered that date and time. Not once has FedEx ever delivered when they claim they would.

The FedEx facility in Crofton, MD received my package at 9:29 am on 12/30/16. At 10:04 am on 12/30/16 their tracker shows "Delivery exception - Business closed - no delivery attempted." The address was a residence - not a business. I called their 1-800 number and eventually spoke to a human who told me that someone from the Crofton office would call me within 2 hours. The return call never came.

I called again and finally got the phone number of their Crofton facility. The gentleman at the Crofton facility told me they made a mistake. I asked if they could deliver my package tomorrow (12/31/16). They cannot because the sender would have to pay an additional fee. 12/31/16 is a Saturday. 1/1/17 is a Sunday. 1/2/17, Monday, is a federal holiday. He informed me that they would deliver the package on 1/3/17. I was upset that I paid extra. They "made a mistake" on their documents (business vs. residential) and I have to wait. He hung up on me. FedEx's customer service is deplorable.

I ordered a part for my snowblower on Dec 19, 2016. Tracking information shows it was accepted and picked up by FedEx location on 12/20. On 12/21 it departed Champaign, IL and arrived in Lenexa, KS that night. It departed Lenexa, KS on 12/21 and arrived in Olathe, KS on 12/22. So far so good! It departed Olathe, KS on 12/23 and arrived in Osseo, MN on 12/27. I realize that it was Christmas weekend. My package was then shipped from Osseo, MN back to Olathe, KS! It has went by my location twice now! Finally on 12/28 they gave it to USPS to deliver it. I called to complain and the FedEx person told me to expect the part on Jan 3, 2017! This is the last time I will be using FedEx for shipping if I have a choice!
