Have had several problems with this company. The drivers either don't show up, or show up after the designated hours of delivery. I have waited all day on 3 occasions to receive a parcel only to have the driver not show up, or deliver to the wrong apt. number. DO NOT USE FEDEX - their customer service reps claim they cannot contact the drivers to find out when they are expected to deliver the parcel. They tell you anytime between am and 5 pm but I have waited all day on 2 occasions to receive my parcel only to have them not show up.

I was having a TV shipped to me from Sony. This was a warranty replacement. Shipment required a signature. I missed delivery twice as I work. So I called FedEx to see what my options were. Was told I could sign door tag and they would leave it. However I was not comfortable in leaving a 40 inch screen TV on my front porch. I was told that was my only option by the customer service rep. However I was given the option online to change the shipment address for a fee. When I told the lady that, she said, "no we could not do that, that was against Sony policy." So I said, "ok I am not going to argue with you about the policy. Just tell me what I can do other than take a day off work and wait on FedEx."

She then said on Sat I could pick up my package at FedEx hub. Then told the address was on the door tag that was left on my door. It was not on the door tag. So she proceed to give my the address of the FedEx hub, but she was doing so in a tone that I would use to explain something to a toddler in. I stopped her as told her I didn't appreciate her tone. I wasn't 3 years old and if she would just speak to me like an adult I could get the info needed and we could end the conversation. What happen to customer service? I mean really, I called for help and was given wrong info about numerous policies. And then when I pointed out she was wrong she cops an attitude.

Ordered a TV stand from Amazon. It shipped from Whitestown warehouse on July 8 only 146 miles from me in southern Indiana. FedEx showed it would be delivered on July 12. The morning of the 12th it showed on truck out for delivery. End of day no package. Checked the website and it stated that the package delivery date was changed by the customer. I called their customer service and they told me someone called and asked that the delivery be moved to the 13th. I told them no one called. 13th came and went and I checked the website that night and it stated incorrect address need additional information and I needed to call. This time I called Amazon and they were very polite. While I was on hold they called Fedex CS who verified the address was correct and said they didn't know why it wasn't delivered and that it will be delivered on the 14th.

Meanwhile I got an email from Fedex customer service stating the package is being held and that I need to verify the address, which I did. Morning of the 14th the website showed out for delivery. It is now 5 pm on the 14th and the package just arrived as I was writing this review. The driver was a very polite young man in a FedEx truck. When I questioned him if he had this package for the last 3 days he told me it was given to him just today and that it previously had been on another route. Since he was driving a company truck and wore their uniform I got the impression he worked directly for them and appeared honest and sincere. He apologized for the trouble and said that he did know of a contract driver that they had issues with in the past but that he has been gone for a year. I told him I think you now have his twin brother.

Together we checked the address and he said he had no issue with it and came straight to me. Nevertheless I had a similar experience a few years ago with FedEx and a damage issue with their freight and it is no more FedEx for me. I have better things to deal with than lying drivers and customer service people that want to give you a runaround. Meanwhile I got an email from their customer support wanting my phone number so they can complete the incident report. Not on your life. FYI can never remember an incident with UPS who has delivered here many more times since I ran a small business out of my home.

In order to receive a package that required a signature I waited a day beyond the scheduled delivery day, then the package traveled 200 miles round trip to return to my location the next day. After 40 minutes on the phone with their "customer service rep." the corporate secret was released that for an addition fee I could receive the packed the following day, after 5 pm when I would be home, another wasted 200 miles of travel for my package.

When I arrived at home the next afternoon early the FedEx driver would not release the package until 5pm, requiring the driver to waste 2 1/2 waiting in my driveway to release the package. After pleading for 30 minutes and being put on hold for 10 minute a district manager informed me that the package could not be released until 5 pm because that is the company's policy. What a waste of my time and the driver's resources, clearly the contract that was not negotiated between the drive and the non-union FedEx corporation show the inefficiencies of this market relationship. FedEx shipping procedures are for the good of FedEx profit margins only.

I call FedEx byzantine because it reminds me of the rigidly bureaucratic top down system that allowed a dead 4th century Byzantine emperor to rule for several months after he was dead. Listening to a district manager tell me that a package could not be released for 3 hours though I was standing only feet away was like reading proclamations to a dead emperor as though the reality of his passing could not be acknowledged because of a inane concrete hierarchical decision making process. Fedex clearly operates in a market economy that favors its relationship with the shipper and not its drivers of receivers of packages. If it was truly an efficient expediter (as it district manager claims) it would acknowledge the waste in the system that is being unfairly borne by its non-union drivers and the receiver of the package that FedEx admittedly does not consider a customer... gotcha capitalism at its worst!

Overnighted some documents to a law firm. Package was left across the street on the porch of an abandoned/boarded up building. The law firm's address was on a sign visible from across the street. The kicker is that the package was SIGNED for by the front desk! Spoke to 2 people at FedEx. "This has never happened before." No refund unless I speak to yet ANOTHER person. No promise of a reply was given to my complaint when they speak to the driver (if they ever do).

My FedEx awb no. ** has landed in India on 30th June 2016 and now it is almost 15 days but I have not received the shipment. I have contacted your employees and given multiple documents to them but still I am awaiting my shipment. Ms. Preti ** and Sheetal are the most rude employees I have seen in any professional organization, they do not take calls nor reply to emails and on top of it they are saying that they do not have color printer in their office to take printout of my documents and I have to courier it to them again.

I don't understand this, I have send soft copy and given permission to take printout and use it but still they want hard copy in courier. This is heights of unprofessional service. They talk to customers as if they have paid us. I have paid almost 130 USD as shipment charges for a small shipment from Shenzhen to Delhi and still I am calling them again and again but they are not taking my calls, nor do they reply over emails.

He states that every packages requires a signature but over the past month if we are not available he will just drop packages in front of the Manager's unit - no signature required. I have confirmed this will the Tenants that their order are NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. I understand we have 5 floors and it is a pain to deliver at this time because the elevator is down but every other delivery service we use delivers direct to the unit. Before I complain I would like to know the procedure. Deliver direct to the door or drop off at the Manager's unit if the packages do NOT require a signature? BTW: All other FedEx drivers take to the apartment door unless signature required.

I have talked to numerous customer service and assurance officers and the delivery facility manager; none have been able to give any customer service. Everyone has been very rude and unhelpful. On Thursday my package was attempted to be delivered, I call customer service to schedule a delivery because I was told it could not be held for pick up. The report promised it would be delivered on Friday after 5pm. When I left work early to be home at 5pm there was another door hanger stating it was attempted again at 315 pm. It was only 415 so I call to see if they were going to send the driver out as promised and was told the driver had gone home.

I asked if I could go to the facility and pick up and was told it was not at a FedEx location but contractor. I asked for pick up again and they said it was not eligible and they would attempt to deliver again Saturday. I advised I worked every day till Tuesday but I asked if they were sure I would have a friend come sign. They would not give me a time so I had to inconvenience my friend from 9-4. The package was never delivered. I called again and they said they held it at the facility for pick up. Which I was told they couldn't do.

I attempted to have it held so I can pick up Tuesday and again told they couldn't do that but can schedule it for the morning of Tuesday. So I requested it be delivered Tuesday before noon, my only day off, yet another inconvenience for me again. Now Tuesday comes and a FedEx truck comes and delivers a package to my neighbor and before I could step outside drives out of the parking lot so I call customer service again. Now I'm told it will not be delivered till 5-8pm. So after 5 reps to assurance people, one dispatch manager, I'm still waiting for my package. No resolution. I have tried to work with them but keep getting lied to and nothing resolved. I am horribly upset with the service that I have received.

Third call the rep said that the number I gave was not a valid FedEx number!!! I asked to speak with a manager and was given to another rep that was much more helpful, and expecting to see the package move on tonight. I hope so.

Shipped out a Antique Budweiser clock that was 57 years old to Indiana through FedEx ground on 6/12/2016. The person from Indiana received the clock broke/damaged. Looked like they threw it off the truck or stepped on it. I just got off the phone with the claims department after 12 phone calls and almost a month later and was informed they would reimburse me my shipping cost @ $26.75 and $100.00 for damages. The clock is a Antique Budweiser and has a retail value of $750.00 restored. This one wasn't restored and asked for $300.00, which I thought was more than fair. I will never never use Fedex again and will spread this story with everyone I know. They will lose more in the long run that's for sure.

According to tracking they had tried to deliver two different days prior but a notice was never left. I assume he was too lazy to get out of his vehicle to leave the notice. I end up finding out that my order had been delivered to the mall. FEDEX was no help in resolving this matter at all. As far as I am concerned their delivery is the worst.

They said item will be delivered 4-5 business days which did not happen. They failed to disclose that the consigned person will pay in said country. The broker here said no extra fee yet they held the item for very long since they asked the person there to produce documentation that she does not have instead of communicating to their office here in Canada. I hope their Customs or head office will pay attention to this.

2:59 pm: Delivered. 2:54 pm: Delivery exception. Retrieved shipment. 5:22 am: On FedEx vehicle for delivery. 5:01 am: At local FedEx facility. NEVER RECEIVED PACKAGE. My package was allegedly ORIGINALLY delivered at 10a.m. The driver then picked the package ("retrieved shipment") because he "misdelivered it" and then almost 5 hours later at 2:59 p.m., he "redelivered it to the right location". The driver also put that my package was signed for... Well, he put that it was signed for by my "Patio" and I don't even have a patio.

FedEx said they were waiting to hear back from the driver to see where he delivered it to. They informed me that the drivers have 5-7 days to follow up with these claims. The driver NEVER contacted them. They said it was still under review. The case was closed and they denied my claim even though the driver did not respond to the case.

So I do not have my package. Maybe the driver noted that he redelivered it but really he just stole it. It was merchandise from Barneys. He knows the company would trust him so he just put that 5 hours later he "redelivered it" and kept the package for himself. I was there when the update sent to me saying it was delivered and I called FedEx immediately saying that my package was not there. Maybe he delivered it to the right place the first time and redelivered it to the wrong place the second time.

I only got the immediate update delivery notification for the 2:59pm delivery, I was never notified of the 10am delivery. But FedEx shows AND explained on the phone that the driver misdelivered at 10am and redelivered at 2:59pm. Whatever the case, the story on their end doesn't add up especially that the driver never followed up with his own company like it isn't his responsibility or something. Or FedEx just doesn't care and it was not urgent for them to make sure their drivers are following up with these claims.

Thanks a lot for not being able to do anything about the packages YOU deliver, and thanks a lot for making sure your driver NEVER followed up with my claim. Thanks a lot for closing my case and DENYING IT (Whoever the person sitting at their desk is that stamped a denial on it since they trust their driver so much that my nonexistent "PATIO" must have signed for my sunglasses). Thanks that all you have to offer is "I'm sorry ma'am but there's isn't anything we can do on our side, you have to call the place you ordered from and dispute the charge with your credit card company." Does your drivers info not sound the slightest bit fishy to you, especially not contacting his company to say his part of his delivery story??? WHATEVER. Obviously not using FedEx anymore unfortunately.

We don't have an electronic doorbell at our house, but we do have a LARGE brass bell next to our door and a BIG sign that says: "Ring Bell LOUDLY." Today we were expecting a very important, very expensive package. We rearranged our schedule to be here for the package delivery. Two of us were home and in different parts of our house; we could have easily heard the bell. Imagine our surprise when we opened the front door to find FedEx's paper slip of attempted delivery (15 MINUTES EARLIER) but "customer not available." WTF? The delivery person did not ring the bell, nor, apparently, even knock very hard on the door and split within just a few seconds, taking our much anticipated, much needed package. We immediately called FedEx to see about turning that guy around, meet him somewhere, or at least be able to pick up our package later this evening at a distribution center. We were told "No," on all three counts.

The service rep said that it was a "contracted" delivery person and that there was no way to get in touch with the driver because "they are not supposed to carry phones with them." WTF? Well then, what about picking the package up at a FedEx center? No can do, the rep explained. Such contracted drivers take undelivered packages home with them in their vans. WTF? My rare and expensive package is sitting God knows where in someone's van overnight? WTF? At every turn in our experience the service was PATHETIC. 1) Obviously the driver was too rushed to concern about Priority No. 1 - the customer, 2) It is incredulous that FedEx drivers, any drivers, cannot be contacted immediately? 3) Contract drivers taking undelivered packages home to likely totally unsecured locations? If this is FedEx's standard operating procedures, NO THANK YOU, I won't be doing further business with them.

After 42 minutes of holding, I was told that they had the wrong zip code and had tried to contact me multiple times to find the correct information, to no avail. They refused to deliver the package after three failed attempts. Yet, when I looked up the shipping information that they were given, the zip was correct, and the phone was also correct. In other words, FedEx dropped the ball on this one and wanted to blame errant info -- seems to be their standard mode of operation. This is my last bad experience with FedEx. I have used FedEx Delivery Manager for the past couple of years b/c I place lots of online orders so I get lots of packages delivered to my house. Recently I tried to change my address b/c I have moved. The FedEx website would allow me to change my address in one place but not the address to which packages are to be sent. Instead I got an Error 1000. My husband, who has had a FedEx Delivery Manager account almost as long as I have, tried to make the same address change and got the same result.

This is not the first time I have had problems w/ the FedEx website. About a year ago, I logged in and requested a change of delivery date b/c I was going to be out of town when something was to be delivered. The website accepted the change, but I started getting email notices that the driver had attempted to deliver the package on the original date. I called my local FedEx and was told that they NEVER receive any notification when changes like that are made online. In other words, making that kind of request on the website is useless b/c it will NEVER be communicated to the local office which is responsible for customer's deliveries.

I don't know if FedEx will read this review or if they do read it, whether they will care to do anything to correct the problem. I found numerous online complaints by people who have had the same experience with the FedEx website. Surely FedEx has read a few of these complaints, but nothing seems to have been done to date to resolve the problems. Perhaps the FedEx website is functional for business customers but not for residential ones. If that is the case, then why even bother to offer residential customers the FedEx Delivery Manager option?

In short, FedEx has a dysfunctional website. It appears that the company does not care enough to hire IT staff who are capable of changing the program to make it usable. Too bad they don't take a lesson from UPS which offers a similar service. The only difference is the UPS service WORKS. For that reason, whenever I make a purchase which is to be delivered, I request that the merchant use UPS instead of FedEx. Perhaps if more people did the same thing, it might grab the attention of FedEx b/c nothing else has.

After filing 2 complaints and several phone calls with FedEx you think a supervisor will call to apologize or to make sure the customer gets their packages!! I was supposed to get an overnight delivery, I took off from work to wait since they gave me a tracking number and an estimated time of delivery which was 8pm. The driver's claims that on the first try I was unavailable, there was no door tag, didn't ring the doorbell even though he knew this is an apartment building and in order to get in someone has to buzzed the in!!

I call FedEx. Within 10 minutes of the so call attempts they couldn't get a hold of the driver that the next day they will try again between 10am-2pm. Again I take off from work to wait, driver claims they attempted at 2:30. I called at 2:45. I was asked by my contact info, they were going to see if they can get the driver to turn before going into the center to park, no response. I call back at 4pm. Another representative ask me the same questions again. I waited. I called at 5pm (all of this the same day, now this is day number 2). That representative takes my information. Their system states that they are trying to get the driver but is unresponsive. They call the site to speak to a supervisor. All supervisors are not onsite!! Now I am beyond annoyed and frustrated. File a complaint that night, there is nothing they can do!

3rd day the same thing!! If I'm paying for overnight delivery why is it taking them so long and why should I have to go out of my way, because the lazy driver does not want to get his behind out the truck to ring the doorbell and go up 3 floors with an envelope that weighs a pound!!! Now am being charged for a package that I don't have and I'm left with several migraines and high blood pressure for crappie services!!! Now am more annoyed because in their tracking system it says that my delivery can happen up until 8pm, yet by 5pm the driver is gone!! My advice to people do not use FedEx, especially the one at this location. It needs to be shut down!!!!

So I sold some items on eBay. Went to go ship them, checked out all my shipping options. Selected FedEx due to the fact they were 8 cents cheaper than USPS. (Even though I would have to drive 20 mins to drop it off at their building. Was quoted the same price in store rate as well as the online rate. Printed my labels and dropped them off at your store.

Then a month later, I check eBay and FedEx charge me after the fact over 200% the price quoted to me. Contacted FedEx, they agreed they should refund me but since I paid through eBay they had no way to refund me directly. So I filed a complaint with the BBB regarding the scam they pulled on the shipping charges. (Keep in mind had I just paid in the store. There would have been no way for them to try and charge me twice the amount later.) Received a response FedEx saying "that shipping charge is just an estimate and that they can actually charge you whatever they want after the fact”. (For example what if the truck did not have any parcels that day it would cost me more because the truck still had to do the route.)

SO in other words this company quotes you a rate just under USPS to rope you into picking them and then later charging you twice as much as you agreed. BAIT AND SWITCH ALLLL DAY, not to mention they continuously change the delivery day as they push-off your package on trucks later and later but that is just a whole different type of scam they pull (not complaining about that one - just the fact that they scammed me on shipping charges). In the same boat? Save all proof. There are a few attorneys currently working on a class action lawsuit and I intend to send in my written testimony.

Unbelievable. My coworker needed those packages by Friday and because FedEx screwed up it had to wait. UPS.... smooth sailing... I gave them the EXACT information I did to FedEx and they were just fine delivering and finding it.

I have a FedEx account. I needed to send a package today by noon. I took it to the FedEx hub at the airport. My receipt said $65.91 and I was not told it may be more when I get my bill. When I got the bill it was $87.63. I disputed the amount and received an email that the dispute was denied due to correct pricing. There is no option to dispute this or contact anyone else. I will be calling by phone tomorrow. The breakdown on the new bill is: 76.37 transportation charges; 11.26 special handling charges. On the receipt at the bottom it says "Subject to additional charges. See FedEx Service Guide at fedex.com for details..." ...which I did and read everything in it that applied to what I sent and the area I sent it to and I paid upfront for deliver services.

So unless FedEx charges extra for having an account and penalizing you for billing, I cannot see what applies. I shipped a painting, to a business. It was not in an out of way area. It was not unusually heavy. It was a regular box. The business was open. Anyone could accept the package there. I will NEVER use FedEx for shipping again! I do not understand how you can ship with them, pay extra at the airport for what you are shipping to make sure it gets there in time, and then be sent a bill for a much larger amount. Maybe companies with billing do not pay attention to the receipt they are getting and then just pay the bill when it comes. NO OTHER shipping carrier does this! I don't go to the post office, pay for something to ship and then get a bill later with no explanation as to why.

Is FedEx charging for the drivers lunch? I don't know. What a scam. Nowhere do I know where this is acceptable. How can they not know how much to charge you for shipping when you take the package yourself to their hub at the airport, have them measure and weigh it? And, how can they not tell you when you take it there that "Oh, by the way, you are going to get a bill that may be much higher than what I am quoting you now"? Do they honestly think the people would not walk out the door and go to another shipper? Is that why it is printed at the bottom of the receipt? I will be closing my FedEx account tomorrow!

There was no tag, there was no sign at all that some delivery had come and left... I called the FedEx on behalf my friend, communicated through a electronic secretary. I requested that the package would be sent to a certain fedex office that we can pick up ourselves. The fedex office is the one on 100 Redneck Moonachie RD, NJ. We went there. The lady, who happened to be the manager of that office, didn't except my friend's photo idea because it wasn't issued by the US government. That was absurd because he is a businessman waiting for his visa to be approved and he is new here.

The lady didn't accept his ID. We couldn't pick up the delivery. Then we asked how on earth we'd get our package, she said the package would arrive at 10.30 tomorrow to the address indicated. I asked what if it doesn't arrive tomorrow like it didn't arrive today. Then we talked over and over, repeated herself a few times, making us and other waiting customers wait further. It was a bad experience. I and my friend lost our trust in fedex. Now, wondering if they deliver tomorrow at 10.30 in the morning, like she said.

I shop a great deal on Wal-Mart website and the FedEx drivers just assume that all shipments are mine just because they are Wal-Mart boxes without taking time to verify the address and end up also leaving other people's stuffs at my address.

I believe that same thing has happened to my items being delivered to the wrong addresses. I have lost a Television, two laptops, and female hygiene products, due to incompetent drivers dumping items at wrong addresses and then inputting in their system that the item has been delivered. Recently we moved to new premises and have noticed that the FedEx van misses our pick up for same day more times than he makes it. Further, trying to track who is doing what at the company is also very difficult because the audit trail for web bookings is incomplete. When booking in a ZMPA reference number arrives on the screen. This has to be written down as there is no emailed reference or print-out reference with this on unless you go through the receipt process. More paper... and 1 out of 10 for user friendliness. The suitcase arrived with the telescoping handle extended and badly twisted and unable to be pushed back into the suitcase; in short, FedEx broke my suitcase. I filed a claim. My claim was denied because FedEx said if they did not put it in a box, they are not responsible for damage to suitcases. Nowhere is this mentioned on their luggage shipping page. At the desk I was not told FedEx would not take responsibility for suitcase damage. The South Jersey location I shipped from originally (the damage occurred on the return trip) in fact told me I didn't need a box since my suitcase was hardshell and sturdy.

FedEx is encouraging people to use their luggage shipping service and not adequately informing people of the conditions under which they will and will not take responsibility for suitcase damage. They are apparently not telling their location workers what the policy is either. I cannot recommend this service as an alternative to regular airline/train luggage services.

To leave Uganda. Otherwise they would keep my property forever or until I die. So I paid the extortion fee. They called it duty and taxes. So the best way to get a package to Uganda, is to fly it yourself, on a trip there in your luggage or the best way is to send it with someone going there who's a Uganda citizen. So on 6/2, when it hadn't arrived by 8pm, I changed delivery to pick up myself at FedEx/Kinko's since I figured the driver could find that location. I also called FedEx on 6/3. See attached screenshot for tracking history. I'm concerned that something has happened to my order and I may not receive it. I called FedEx customer service to ask about the delay and was told that shipments are not guaranteed by the estimated date for ground shipments.

I asked for my feedback to be passed to a higher level and the FedEx CSR said that information is periodically reviewed and seemed to indicate that mine would be as well. Unfortunately the company I bought the product from only had an option for ground shipping (though apparently expedited shipping is available via their webstore but I didn't see an option on eBay). I contacted FedEx multiple times about the status of my package to which I got no response. The tracking info updated every couple of days & my projected delivery date kept changing & being pushed back farther & farther.

I'm not impatient, I know stuff happens & I know how long a package usually takes to get from one place to another, but near a month is ridiculous. I went to the Better Business Bureau with a complaint & got a stupid letter in the mail from FedEx in response that "estimated delivery dates" are just that, estimated, meanwhile this stupid person is clearly ignoring the obvious that it shouldn't take that long for a package from California to New York to be delivered & why on earth is the package being transferred to places more out of the way than going to me?? I personally NEVER use FedEx but I am subjected to by companies who think FedEx actually knows how to deliver packages in a professional, courteous, timely manner. Oh this latest delivery really takes the cake. I ordered a very expensive item from a company who will remain nameless. I paid a ridiculous amount in shipping to said company. I did not know FedEx was their 'choice' delivery company. I receive an early notice the item had shipped (YAY!) because this particular item isn't suppose to ship for anyone until June. Lucky me, right! I decided to work from home on delivery. The tracking info said it would be delivered at the latest 8 pm.

After work, decided to check the tracking info, it says they tried delivering at 2 pm. Well that can't be? I was home all day, didn't leave once. Sat in my living room, 10 feet from the front door. Never heard a knock. Opened the door a couple time because they've been sneaky in the past by running up and tacking one those post-its to the door without ringing the bell and running off back to their truck and peeling off like they stole something. Never seem folks so anxious NOT to do their job.

At any rate, I called FedEx, waiting. Finally I get a customer service rep. Before I get into my conversation with this person, let me set the stage. I live at an address where 2 blocks away there is a kind, older gentleman who has the exact same address as I EXCEPT my address ends in Terrace and his ends in Avenue. On numerous occasions he has received my packages. He has be kind enough to call FedEx to have them come pick up the items. He even delivered once. Oh and one other time he was so mad that FedEx REFUSED to pick up an item he called the cops. It just so happened I was home that day. I'll never forget it because whoever think a police officer would deliver a package. But the officer did. Scared the crap out me because I didn't know if something happened to my Son or Husband.

On the last botched delivery, I spoke to a nice woman at FedEx who specifically told me the (FedEx) had changed the street name and she did not know why. Okay now, back to my conversation this time. The guy asked for the tracking number, my name, and asked for the situation. I told him the tracking info said they tried to deliver...I was home all day...FedEx ALWAYS delivers to the wrong address. He asked for my address twice, I gave it both times. He says, "Well it says Avenue" I said "yes because your company changed it." He says, "No it came from the company you ordered the item from with Avenue." I tell him I have my invoice in my hand that shows my correct address.

The customer service (HA) rep repeats what he already said. I said, "Well let me arrange to pick it up." He tells me "No because there are restrictions on the package." I told him "I already know it needs a signature, so why can't I sign for it at the FedEx location?" He again repeats his self about the restrictions. At that point I asked for a supervisor or manager. What do I get 'escalations' which is a glorified title to try and fix major situation without additional pay. I know because I worked in that type of an area for a different company. So the lady I get gives me the same song and dance. BUT she tells me the shipper is the one who changed my address.

I called B.S. on that saying "Now why would this company do that when they're not even in the same state? How would they know if there's two address almost identical and two blocks apart." I told her what the last customer rep told me on a previous delivery FedEx botched. She says "No we don't do that." I called B.S. again and asked for her supervisor/manager. Again, I hear "No, there is no one else to speak with." Then she says "You'll have to have the shipper contact FedEx to change the address." At that point I hung up. I tried contacting the company but they are now closed. Something really needs to be done about FedEx. The company has terrible customer services all around. I know, I used to work in that area for many years and would have NEVER told a customer "No" as many times as they told me.

When the package shipped to me, the tracking from FedEx indicated a delivery date of 5/17/2016. I ensured that someone was present to sign for the package. However, on the day of delivery, the shipping date suddenly showed up that although the package was in my city, delivery was delayed until the next day. When I called customer service to see if I could pick up the package on the original date, the FedEx representative spoke English with such a bad accent that I could barely understand what he was saying. When he finally input my tracking number, he wouldn't answer any questions. He just kept repeating, "I apologize, but my system shows that delivery is scheduled for 5/18." I received zero help from customer service and received zero new knowledge beyond what I already knew. I finally hung up in frustration because he wouldn't answer any questions - he just kept repeating the same phrase over and over.

I pushed the button on the gate no answer. I called FedEx no one would pick up the phone at the location. I was hung up on. Finally I got someone else on the phone to then be told I was at the wrong location. They sent me to another location dead end street with no FedEx. I called back - that was a mistake it was at the original address which was now closed. They outright lied repeatedly about where the package was and offered no resolution other a pitiful I'm sorry.

It's 2016 and the same issue with Fedex charging additional for "something" is still a complaint. As well as unusually rude staff at an "independent" ship location and/or with Fedex customer service. How does the company handle prepaid, large retailers shouldn't use FEDEX until it can CLARIFY what and when they plan to charge: additional rates, packaging material, Jiffy use, stapler... YES, a Fedex independent told me they wanted to charge $2 for USING packing tape for a prepaid item being dropped off. Was this actually the "additional charge" for posted rates applied to a prepaid shipment?!

Retailers should USE alternatives if Fedex is allowing their "independents" charge whatever they deem fit for prepaid shipping. Shipping options I haven't had the same surprise charges issue: UPS, USPS, DHL. Footnote: Christmas handle the B2C, B2B demands. UPS handled it. I just moved from Canada to the US and I shipped 8 boxes through FedEx. I was shipping my personal belongings including crystal glasses and China, so I bought heavy duty boxes (extra strength, thicker cardboard) and used bubble wrap to individually wrap each piece. When the boxes arrived, it was raining. The person in charge of delivery was very disrespectful to me saying he was tired and the boxes were too heavy to be carried up one flight of stairs. He kept picking up boxes from one location and throwing them forcefully to the next. Boxes were in very bad shape when I first saw them in the truck but when they got up the stairs they looked so much worse. 2 of the boxes were completely ripped and things were falling out. When he dropped the last box on the floor, I was standing right there. A frame in the box broke and pieces of glass fell out of the box. He just looked at it and repeated that the box was heavy!

Those 2 boxes were so damaged that I couldn't even bring them inside the apartment. I had to bring each item in individually and clean all the broken pieces of glasses. All my crystal wine glasses were broken along with some of China and other things. I will send a claim to them soon with pictures included but I will never forgive them for how they mistreated my belongings! I will never work with them again.

I ordered a package online towards the end of April, and it shipped on 4/26/16 via SmartPost. I still have not received it. FedEx has not provided an estimated arrival date, and online tracking information has stated that it has been in the same location, the city surrounding my college campus where the package is supposed to be delivered, for six days (four business days). When I called FedEx after the company I'd ordered from and my post office were both unable to help me, woman I spoke to was fairly rude and insinuated that there was nothing FedEx could do. When I mentioned that my PO box was on a college campus, she told me that the company I'd ordered from had not included the name of my university on the package. This simply isn't true. On the company's site, my shipping address includes the name of my college, and when the FedEx representative read back my address, it did include the name of the college.

I guess she didn't recognize "--- State" as the name of a college. Instead of answering my questions, she repeated the same shipping information - that the package was "in transit" - instead of addressing the problem that my package had been listed as "in transit" in the same location near where it was supposed to be delivered for significant length of time. Additionally, she spoke in a relatively derogatory tone of voice and refused to put any responsibility on FedEx, telling me that I should contact the company I ordered from instead. I had already contacted them, along with my local post office, and they told me that I would need to contact FedEx. When I asked about the length of time that had passed while still "in transit", she said that SmartPost could take up to ten days. The shipping option that I selected stated that it would take 4-9 business days, not 10.

This simply doesn't simply fair, and it shouldn't be this difficult to ask about a package from a company that specializes in shipping them. I'm giving them two stars because there's still a chance that I will be able to receive my package (here's hoping it isn't completely lost), and the second woman I spoke to when I called back later was actually helpful and transferred me to someone from SmartPost who is working to help me locate my package.

I came back from work 12 pm and was waiting till late in the night. I didn't find any notice that they came and I wasn't here. So Friday 11 pm I came back home. I called them and they told me that they came again but I wasn't here. So I told them that I never gonna be in the morning because I work. I asked them to just leave my package outside my door. Her response was that they always deliver in Middletown NY 8:50 am - 10:50 am and that their policy doesn't allow them to just leave packages at people's homes without signature from an adult. I told her that I don't have anyone at home and this time that they deliver in Middletown NY I always work. If I could at least drive to the closest FEDEX office later that day (40 miles back and forth) in Newburgh and pick it up.

The lady told me that I couldn't that day because it was locked in the truck. She said I had 2 options. Either go there next day Saturday the 30th or they would deliver. I told her, "Ok, I would take off from my job next day and I'll wait for delivery." Sunday I had to use this equipment that I ordered. It was very, very important to me cause is related to a project that cost a lot of money. Today is Saturday and nobody came. So I called them really aggravated and asked the male representative what happened. He said initially that they delivered but I wasn't home. I said that's a lie cause I had been home since yesterday. I asked him where was the delivery and how could I get my package. He said I couldn't because was locked in the truck. It would be delivered Monday morning.

I asked him why the lady promised me the day before that my package would be delivered today and didn't tell me to go pick it up. He said he didn't know. So here I am now and really I don't know what to do with those people. If I knew it I would have gone there. I'm very disappointed and angry. They didn't wanna just leave the package without signature even If I told them is ok with me and never delivered it on time. I called the seller and told him if I ever order again something from them never to use FEDEX please. They caused big damage to my business. But I don't think they care.

However, every time I order something and it ship via FedEx, I want to pull my hair out because of the headache involved! The drivers always make three delivery attempts, in spite of the fact that they should know on the first attempt whether or not they can make the delivery. UPS is my shipper of choice now because they never fail to deliver right to my door. And their trucks are the same size as the FedEx home delivery trucks, and yet, they manage to do it perfectly with no hiccups. I'm frustrated that I have to continue to pay for shipping with FedEx when they will not deliver to my address! I'm now to the point where I often check to see what shipper my merchant uses and if it's FedEx, I won't place an order. FedEx has been the delivering corporation for the package every time, no issues if I was home or not. This one time I NEED the diapers, they are telling me I have to be home to sign for the box. I okayed the package to be left at the door after the first failed attempt, since I would be at work... Still no package the next day. Call again, once again, they tell me they cannot leave it without a signature even though I okayed for it to be left, since again, I had to work. Left for California for the weekend, expected it on Tuesday, as they told me they said they would leave it at the door, and once again, nothing Tuesday.

Called customer service, they told me that they aren't sure why it wasn't left, but if I signed the door tag and put "leave at door", they would leave it on Wednesday. So, signed the door tag, put "leave at door". Wednesday, left for work, came home, again no ** package, but another door tag. Called AGAIN. Guy told me that with the door tag signed, it should have been left. He would send them a message saying to leave it, but to go ahead and sign the other door tag and put leave at door. Once again signed door tag, put "leave at door", put both tags back on the door. Thursday... Still... No... **... Package. Just got off the phone with some ** named Carlos. He told me that because it was an apartment building, they cannot leave the package.

Where I live should NOT affect if I get my package or not. I okayed for it to be left. My neighbors are NOT going to steal ** diapers and if they do, they needed them more than I did. Carlos proceeded to tell me that I now have to drive to go get my package because it's been failed to deliver. Are you ** serious?! I asked if he worked, he said he was at work. I asked if he was supposed to get a package today while he was at work, how would he sign for it?? Let alone, if at work, how are you supposed to drive to a FedEx location to pick up a package?!

I am sooo very disappointed with this company. I wish I was able to choose who my packages were delivered by, because every issue I have had with UPS they have made that extra effort to make their customer happy. I called FedEx to find out what had happened and I gave them the number on the door tag. They told me that the number on the door tag was not linked to a package, and that I should contact the company that sent the package to track it. This being unacceptable, I asked to talk to a manager. The woman I was then put in touch was at least willing and able to locate the package and driver. She then called the driver who claimed that he did press my buzzer - however this was not true. In my conversation with this woman I told her many times that the driver had not pressed the buzzer, that I had been home the whole time, and she repeatedly insisted that he had pressed buzzer.

I asked to speak with someone else. Although a much better communicator, this third person was not able to do anything for me, and I had to have my package redirected and won't get it until the end of the week. I called the company I ordered from and luckily, because of so many complaints about FedEx, they are going to give customers the option of having their packages sent by Canada Post. I know cause I can see home my home camera. I called and complaint but all the customer service was outsourced to India and they have no clue of what is going on. I asked from the first attempt to give me a location for me to pick up but they would refuse to provide one.

After the 4 attempt the shipper contacted Fedex to try to release the package without a signature and was not allowed. We tried to change the address to my business address and also was not allowed. Finally they took the package of the truck and was awaiting for instruction for 2 days. I decided to go to their depot to pick it up and finally got my package. The team there were extremely busy solving other pending complaints and took mine as a routine complaint.

After driving 37 miles the opposite way to pick this up I received 2 calls from Fedex to arrange for delivery. I already had the package and they were contacting me for delivery. This is definitely the last time I use this service, I rather buy at stores that don't deal with Fedex and if they can't use UPS then I won't buy. I was told that most of the delivery drivers are now subcontractors, and don't work directly for Fedex, that reflects the terrible service of the company, they just don't care about the customers.

Been home with my husband with the flu for a week. My Husband went downstairs to get the mail and there was a sticker on our mailbox with our Apt #. I called FedEx and was told it was NOT for me but another neighbor. I am expecting this package and when I checked the tracking it was marked as delivered to my door.

NO WAY. We were home. I was expecting another delivery yesterday, I left a note on front door to leave package with neighbor. It was left with Super but no notice of delivery. I thought it was lost again when I saw it was delivered on the computer. I asked neighbor if she got my package and she said no. I went to Super's apt and there it was. I don't like this at all. I would NEVER have delivery by FEDEX again.

Every supervisor who gets on the phone could care less and all they say that they have no info on my box. 50 lb box and they can't find it. It obviously has been broken into a stolen. The box has not been scanned since it hit Memphis TN which is the main hub. The lack of customer service is appalling. $37,000 and I can't even get anyone to call me back. I'm flipping out!! If you ever have to send anything that is expensive or rare DO NOT TRUST FEDEX. The worst delivery company on the planet!!

This is not the first time I received broken goods from FedEx and I never use them personally, but unfortunately in cases such as this, it is who the shipper chooses to use.

Waited around all day only to discover when I checked online that a delivery "had been attempted". This is not a problem with the address - two different addresses were involved and have received multiple deliveries in the past. The drivers are flat out lying and Customer Service is not much in the way of service. It's Friday and the next attempted delivery will be Tuesday. Why are we paying for the privilege of allowing FedEx to determine our schedules and manage our expectations? No more FedEx - I don't pay for the opportunity to be treated badly.

I am a physician and work via telemedicine with a clinic which maintains an account with FedEx. I need to regularly send critical documents to the clinic and had a package scheduled for pickup yesterday which had to be delivered today, as the clinic is closed on the weekend and this involved care for a sick patient. I was given a window of 4-6 PM. When the driver had not arrived by 5:30 I checked online and encountered a message that there were "difficulties with your delivery". Immediately phoned FedEx who informed me that the driver had come to the house, had spoken to me and had been told that there was no package (actually used my name).

No driver came, no one spoke with me and there most certainly was a package - a critical one. I was told that it was too late to send out another driver and that they couldn't accommodate me. Although the package destination is 3 hours from here they told me that they could not pick up the package today and deliver it the same day. As the clinic is closed on the weekend (today if Friday) this has left a patient in dire straits. Should there be consequences to this patient FedEx will be hearing from more than just me...

This time FedEx says "Can't find address", "Invalid Address"! The item was purchased on eBay, and FedEx responded they needed the "Shipper's name and address". These are not available on eBay to the buyer. I responded with directions and GPS coordinates. FedEx advised information has been sent to the delivering department. It is now a week later, and the tracking still shows they need detailed info from me! There is no way to contact a person. I phoned the shipping dept. and no answer after 10 rings. The cust service number is automated, and all I can get is, "Package not delivered due to invalid address"!

This is the worst company ever! I also lost an HP All-in-One Printer. Driver dropped the box on my porch instead of handing it to me. The sound of smashing glass was heard. Driver said to contact FedEx and walked away. I was told by FedEx to contact the shipper! She got the money for the printer from FedEx! It was my printer, and I paid the shipping, about $70. I ended up with $40 from FedEx! DO NOT USE FEDEX! I am contacting eBay to try to get them to NOT USE FEDEX!

Package delivery. I had a package sent from US for research purposes on February 25, couriered so that I get the package in three to five business days. I have not yet received it. In March I got a call from Mumbai, that customs clearance takes place either in Mumbai or Ahmedabad. In Ahmedabad it came some time in March but I was told that unless I pay 5555 Rupees I cannot collect it (and it was not custom's duty). This was for late pickup and FedEx had a policy that if the package gets delivered irrespective of the responsibility the customer has to pay. I paid more in India than that in the original shipment from US.

After paying Rs 5555 (approx 80 dollars) I am now told that FedEx will not deliver and that I have to have an agent pick up the package from customs. It looks like absolute extortion. My advice to anyone planning to use FedEx: Do not use it for international shipments to India and by extension for international shipments to USA. The Indian office has a problem, they do NOT deliver on their promise. I have not yet received my packages.

I ordered receipt paper that came earlier than expected which made me happy, but I lost that happiness when I realized that the package had been "delivered" and "signed for" without my knowledge or anyone on my team knowing. So we start asking the other businesses in the suite it had gotten delivered there, nope, no one got our package.

I decided then to call FedEx customer service and though the woman I spoke to was pleasant, it did not make up for how irritated FedEx made me. After being on hold for a few minutes, the customer service representative comes back on the line and says that they spoke to the carrier that delivered my package and that they just left it somewhere inside of my building. "I'M SORRY, WHAT?!" A package that was to be signed for nonetheless, was left in the middle of my floor and would have not been found for a while had we not been told the carrier simply put it down somewhere.

This is a place of business that this package was delivered to, not only that, but there are plenty of people walking around inside of here for the carrier to have asked what to do with the package and where to go. What made this experience even more irritating for me is that the carrier and the customer service representative seemed to believe that just leaving a package sitting somewhere randomly is okay. I will not be using FedEx to deliver packages for me, and if they were my only option for carrier, I'd cancel my order until a different carrier could bring it, like UPS.

Fed Ex should be ashamed of themselves being such a huge company and having the worst service in this country. There needs to be a class action suit filed against this company to make them be accountable for their lack of service costing consumers tons of money. I had placed an order for samples of veneer stone from a company located in Canada. The first attempt was on Monday March 21 and apparently the wind blew the door tag away. The second attempt was on Tuesday, I was home but no knock at the door. 2 door tags taped to the screen door. I called them and went online and signed for the package as well as signed the door tag and left taped to the INSIDE of the screen door.

On Thursday, the driver took the signed door tag but did not leave the package. I called the 800# and they informed me it would be dispatched to be re-delivered. The local branch called me at home from a private #. He told me that he would have the driver deliver the package in a little while. I had my door open until 11PM and NO Fed Ex delivery. I called again on Friday letting them know that no delivery of my package and that now the sale is off as of midnight March 24 now costing me more than $900.00 more if I purchase the veneer stone. I wanted to see the sample before I ordered it. I have yet to receive the package that was promised to be delivered several hours ago. Fed Ex is an unreliable form of delivery and will NEVER use them.

I am a first time customer of FedEx. Recently my best friend had a baby. I was so happy for my friend that I wanted to send some gifts. Previously I have always used USPS and even though it took a lot of time to deliver, I have never had any problems with them. As I wanted the box full of baby stuff (baby toys, stuffed animals, books, clothes) to be delivered on time, trusting FedEx's good name I shipped the box to Chittagong, Bangladesh for 321 dollars. Even though nothing in the box was expensive, still the accumulated cost of goods came up to 200 dollars. The box reached Bangladesh pretty fast but I noticed a few days delay in delivery. Then my friend tells me, a FedEx representative comes to her house asking for money to release the box. Here I need to point out, it's personally very embarrassing for me. It was supposed to be a surprise gift for my friend.

If any tax money was needed FedEx should have contacted me and should have had a way to collect money from me and pay taxes. I was ready to pay any money needed at the point of shipment. But this is not even the whole story. My friend goes to the FedEx office to find out exactly how much money is needed. Guess what, they are asking for 375 dollars to release the box. I have to remind you, I already paid shipping cost 321 dollars, for a box that is valued at 200 dollars. How can tax be more than the value of goods or the shipping cost? When I call FedEx to complain, they urge me to take one of two options. First option, to abandon the shipment and let 321+200 dollars go down the drain. Or have the box shipped back to me by paying a shipping fee again of 321 dollar!!!

At this point I am feeling like I am being punished for choosing FedEx. Good customer service would have been if my box were shipped back to me and my shipping cost reimbursed. But instead your representatives are making me feel like it's my fault that I relied on FedEx to safely deliver my package. Now the only request I have to you is please kindly stop shipping to Bangladesh. Why do you take up responsibility of a job that you cannot reliably do? Instead the customers are harassed and mistreated. If the FedEx center in Bangladesh is full of thieves then you should stop accepting shipment there.

I trusted on your company's good name for the first time and I suffered a great deal. I am not rich, I am just an average middle class American. I understand profit is important to you. But if you at least did your job properly (that is delivering packages safely, reliably as you are supposed to) I wouldn't have had any complaints. I hope you improve your quality of service.

I could understand this for certain areas of the country, but I live in St. Louis, and we have 2 FedEx Centers here, and one right across the river in Illinois, only 30 minutes from my house in St. Louis. And the route they give for shipping shows them flying into the St. Louis airport, checking at the FedEx terminal there, then they trucked it to the Illinois terminal, and then is was trucked off the Champaign Illinois, Evansville Indiana, Indianapolis, Lexington KY, and then flown back to St. Louis. It was due on Monday, and FedEx told me they changed the delivery date to the following Friday, even though I paid for expedited shipping. I worked in Logistics for decades, and I have seen some really strange things, but FedEx just really, and consistently takes the cake.

I refuse to choose them if I have a choice. They really don't care, and just do whatever they want to. And don't get me started on their delivery people. UPS is bad, but FedEx makes UPS delivery drivers look like the saints of package delivery. FedEx sometimes appear to just do drive-by toss-outs, and I find packages in the bushes between my house and the street as if they just toss them from the window of their moving van. But most delivery drivers are contractors, so FedEx has an out when it comes to responsibility, of which I have been burned on a couple times in the past on too when filing a claim. Oh how I could go on. But the problem is, FedEx is large, very wealthy, and very well connected politically. So they can pretty much do whatever they want without repercussions for their actions. It's the American way..

Delivery says left at front door when actually left by the road.

For businesses, this delivery service may be reliable, but for private residences it's nothing short of atrocious - unless of course you happen to be unemployed and can stay at home all day. They do NOT communicate and deliver at times when most people are at work. Horribly UNRELIABLE! WHY do businesses still use this inept, incompetent excuse for a delivery service?!

Some items were literally pulverized. I contacted my account executive who instructed me to take pictures and file a claim. I did. FedEx denied my claim, and despite the numerous emails, they refuse to pay me for the destruction they caused. I have worked for 13 years and in less than 1 week FedEX destroyed all I had. So first I would like to say I have never written a negative review about a business. Being a business owner myself it always amazes me how the first thing someone does is get on the Internet and complain. I go to Florida every winter, a small island whose post office has small island hours. I needed something shipped to me that I needed as quickly as possible. My daughter took it to FedEx and had it overnighted and paid $100.00. They said it would be here by 12:00 the next day. While waiting for the delivery I saw my neighbor got a delivery 12:15. I asked the driver if she had something for my house. She told me no, I said I was supposed to receive mine by 12:00 today. She then told me that would be on a different truck. It would be express.

I got the tracking number and looked it up. It was sitting in the delivery center even not 50 miles away. I called the facility and was told it was already closed and express wouldn't be delivering to the island until Monday! I said it was something I had to have today and had paid to have it shipped overnight. Was then told there was nothing that could be done. Owning a business myself I know if we would treat a customer only half this ridiculous we would be raked over the coals! This package was extremely urgent and I went to through the proper channels to get it the quickest way possible. Only to be told there is nothing that can be done. I do understand that nothing is guaranteed but in tracking the package it has Sat in Fort Myers since 6:00 this morning. Knowing that it was sent and paid for overnight and a truck had delivered to the neighbors house? If the express truck isn't coming to the island until Monday. Put it on the truck that is.

I received a "2nd delivery attempt" notice, but was told it was the 3rd. Their driver claimed to have made a 2nd attempt on day of 1st attempt - but it was at a time I KNOW I was home (and there was NO door ticket for that alleged attempt, either). (And if he had made a 2nd attempt on 1st day, then why did today's notice say "2nd attempt"). I tried to sign up for their well-publicized delivery program where you can change delivery date, etc. After 10 minutes of typing, I receive an email that says I'm signed up. But the system still doesn't let me in and I get "error 1000" code. Turns out that means you have not lived at the address you use for at least a year, and that you must have lived there for a year to get deliveries there.

Chat room person was useless. Phone rep. was nice, but her hands were tied. The best she could do was say they'd try to make another delivery attempt, on the date I said I'd take off work to be home, but she could make no guarantees. All this in the age of instantaneous, free-for-them digital communication. Oh, and they offered about 1001 times to have me pick it up. Their 3 pick up locations are miles away, and I'd have to rent a truck. Really, why does service get worse when they now have the technology to make it infinitely better?!

Well it will be 20 days in a few hours and the package is sitting in Massachusetts after it spent 5 days in Arizona. Is Arizona that big? It makes me curious about what happens to all the merchandise that gets "delivered" because the actual recipient of said merchandise never actually receives it!

Often times I order from some of my favorite retailers online for convenience. It seems that more recently, my packages are coming from the manufacturing company and are being tampered with at the shipping facilities. It's very scary and frustrating to know that my personal items that I spend my hard earned money on are being opened and tampered with and sometimes even, items being removed from the packages after they've left the manufacturer's warehouse. I ordered a product online from a retailer I often shop with. Upon receiving my package and opening it, I noticed that it was tampered with. Looking further into my package, I realized 1 of my items were missing from the box. It seems like these package sorters are opening the packages as they are sealed, removing items, and resealing the packages as they are when they are shipped from the manufacture.

This is not the first time this has happened and it's so frustrating and makes me not want to utilize online shopping. Something really needs to change about this and there needs to be some kind of resolve. Why do we, the consumer, find peace of mind when there are acts of thievery taking place through major shipping companies like this one?

I had a problem with a neighbor receiving my packages. I complained to corporate because they don't give out the number to the local station. I mentioned how my neighbor got my package a couple of times and they didn't want to feel responsible for the packages being left at their door step. Since then I started getting notices on my door requiring signatures. I called Corporate, and they told me that no signatures were required by the sender. That anything being asked was from the local station.

I happen to be home when the driver came by and asked him if I now needed to sign for all my packages and he said, "Yes, since you made a complaint to our corporate office, we're are now requiring signatures at your home for all packages." I thought about that for a moment and he then said with a stern and demeaning tone "Because I know that I delivered those packages to your doorstep!" So it seemed that he was insulted by what transpired and apparently I was a liar. Since then I have missed package delivery after package delivery. I had to go down to FedEx and retrieve my packages because even the notices they left on my door had the signature tab torn off so I could not sign so they could leave the package.

I was getting another package and this time I had a friend stay over since I knew I wasn't going to be around. He saw a FedEx truck in the area but no attempt was made. He spent 5 hours waiting for a delivery. When I got home I checked online and called. The message stated that an attempt was made today but no one was home to sign.

I made another complaint about this and I was mad. I was told they couldn't do anything because the drivers were Contractors. I was just wondering if they have the FedEx name on the side of the vehicle why couldn't they do anything? If they weren't responsible then who was. I told her that I did not want to deal with this driver because the way he spoke to me. She said she would talk to the driver and give him a chance to correct the problem.

I had another package arrive and the same thing happened again. I missed the delivery and a notice was posted to my door. I have a locking delivery drop box for which I knew one of my packages would fit and they still did not drop off my packages. I called and asked if the packages needed a signature. Corporate told me no. I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor at the local site and they patched me in to this man named Don. He started telling me that I had to sign for it since it was an apartment complex. I told him, ”No it wasn't, it was a duplex and it was just like dropping it off at a house.”

He started telling me that it was policy and I told him that that was not the case before. Not until I made the complaint. He said he didn't understand how. I told I called BS on that and I didn't appreciate being lied to. He began to tell me that a signature was required and I got HOT! I started telling him about all the calls that I made and how I feel he is lying to me and he screamed at me telling me, "You HAVE to sign for the package or you just WON'T GET IT!“, and he hung up on me.

I called several times to complain and I kept getting told that the Top supervising manager would get in touch with me today. I have not heard from him yet. I have spoken to two managers at the local site and no resolution. I still have no packages. I refuse to be bullied into signing for my own property and being present for a delivery, when there is no such requirement.

I told the corporate complaint department that I am refusing to bow because these idiots at the local office have made it personal. Now I have made it personal too. I have at least four days off a week with not much to do. I told them I will finance deliveries of packages that no one will ever sign for. I will finance my friends ordering things online and not accepting delivery. I told them I will make them come to my house as many times as I possibly to make them waste their time and money. I will complain on sites like this on a regular basis as long as I have energy, time and money because I have all three. I have notified all my suppliers not to do business with FedEx when sending me packages and I will recommend all my friends and business partners to do the same. Since they made this into a personal battle now so have I. All of this over someone’s pride and an unnecessary signature.

I invite anyone from corporate to challenge my version of this. I have all the phone calls recorded and saved. I have the blowout with the last manager I spoke with. I have all the calls to customer service. I can and will follow up with more and on other websites since I can. Did I mention I have an insomnia problem? Hehe...

I am disabled and unable to move those heavy boxes. He was asked to put them in the garage where there is a sign on the wall to put them. He *refuses* to put them where they are supposed to go and yesterday (2/18/2016), he put them right in front of my door to where I cannot get in and out of my door and I can't move the boxes. Now if I want to go get in my vehicle I have to go out the front door, down the sidewalk and around the house to get to my car.

As stated, I'm disabled so this is a hardship on me. This same person when he made the delivery last month, he attempted to put the boxes at my front door DESPITE THE NOTATION FROM CHEWY.COM that the packages are to be put in the garage. When I opened the door and asked them to please put the boxes in the garage where they are supposed to go, the stock ** guy got all huffy and rolled his eyes and pfft at me, then stomped around and *slid* my boxes on their side in the garage. He did NOT put them IN the garage as requested but slid them in the door. Then despite being told he needs to put them IN the garage when making the delivery yesterday he stacked them right smack in front of the door. I was told by his supervisor that he would be told to come and move the boxes today. He was just here delivering to a house the next house over from mine and did NOT come and move these boxes.

I will be filing a complaint with the Americans with Disabilities about this as this treatment is totally unacceptable. Not only can I not get in and out of my garage door, I can't take my garbage out tonight either due to this disrespectful piece of **. I hate pulling the race card here but that's exactly how it appears to me. I'm a 60 yr old disabled ** female that a young ** guy can't even take few extra steps in and put the boxes in a designated area in order to make it accessible for me. Pretty sad state of affairs.
