I am very disappointed with your services. Most important, I was not told there would be a 21% fee for all settlements. I was not told I would have to have x amount of dollars before you could proceed with settlements. I was not told there could be judgments brought against me.

I have only been in the program for 4 months but Freedom Debt Relief has taken a weight off of my shoulders. I have two accounts that are already settled and well on my way to get all of my debts cleared up.

I have been treated very courteously on the phone each time I have called with questions. They are always answered completely and I usually have more than one. A few accounts have already been settled in six months.

During the process with FDR we have seen one account settled so far. We recommend FDR beyond question, but the only thing we would prefer to know where they are with the negotiations. There is nothing that tells us where they are at.

All of the people I have talked with on the phone have been respectful and helpful and knowledgeable. They are very communicative via phone and email. I am confident and comforted that my debt will be handled and my life improved when we are done.

For a long time I consider joining a company to help get my credit repair and get a new start but every time I called a company, I would change my mind because they would start bombarding me with calls and emails, or the people I speak to would be rude or just not making me feel comfortable. But when I called this company, I feel so at ease. All my questions were answer to the point. I was being encourage and not forced, I just felt comfortable. The person that assist me was very knowledge and understanding.

I actually received a pre-approval letter through the mail and I do get a lot of these letters which I usually just toss in the trash. But, this one caught my eye because of the BBB association as well as the AFCC accreditation. I did my research before getting involved and am so glad that I did. The process was so easy and I bombarded the representative with questions and e-mails after e-mails. She was so nice and so eager to help me. I'm just so relieved that I am finally getting out of debt. I couldn't be more pleased.

Just your normal person that got caught when the economy to a dump, jobs being dropped and places being combined. I contacted them 2/2014 and heard that magic saying. Then after a year I get that magic saying again and was told all about their C+ program that will really help you. They give you a 1 min run through on the 15 page contract asking you to initial each page. Bottom line is I went in with $38,427 in debt and by the time I get out I will have paid $36,840. Funny thing they also sent me something to fax them telling how great I feel. I could go on forever about them but will leave it at this. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS - RUN. FREEDOM DEBT DISASTER.

Just a note to say that my experience with FDR was excellent. They helped me quickly to resolve my credit issue by settling 3 credit cards. Each card debt was settled at half of what I owed. Which was fantastic! I was able to qualify for a credit loan to pay the negotiated amounts (settlement offer) with the creditors. Since the loan paid off for my debt, my credit score keeps improving every month. Now, I'm making only one monthly payment for the credit loan at a reasonable amount. I'm happily satisfied with my experience with FDR.

I was in a state of total despair prior to signing up with Freedom Debt Relief. They are taking care of everything for me, and it's great to know they have the highest rating from the Better Business Bureau. Already they have arranged a settlement with one creditor, after only four months. The amount of time and money I will save using their service is really significant.

I'm at a crossroads where I feel that this could go either way. I have A LOT of debt and I feel it is taking a LONG time to get anything settled. I only have two accounts that Freedom has even talked to. When my creditors call me asking for money they tell me that no one from the company has even contacted them to even try to settle the debt. I tried contacting my original representative who signed me up five months ago and I can't even get him to return my calls now that we have signed a contract.

I have emailed several times to your company from the beginning of my signing up with your company to please change my paying status to 142.00 on the 10th and 142.00 on the 25th of every month... Three months later I have yet to have my request granted. I have been hurting financially and making these payment adjustments works better for me. I am very upset that the full amount of $284.00 has been deducted from my account once again this month. I thought ya'll were here for me and help make things better for me. Why haven’t I had anyone contact me to grant my request... I have changed my number because of the harassment of my creditors but that is no excuse cause I have provided you with email as my contact. Please get this issue resolved as soon as possible while I try to figure out how to come up with the $142.00 that I thought I had extra to pay other expenses. Very upset and disappointed right now.

I opened this settlement account with Freedom Debt Relief in NOV 2014. It has been only five (5) months, but I got my first settlement offer at 44% of the final total of one account. Freedom Debt Relief was instrumental in being able to make that happen! And the staff were all so very helpful when I had been given earlier offers at only $200 savings on $1300 debt and gave me a recommendation to wait for these later offers! Their knowledgeable experience in such matters is invaluable! Kudos and thanks, FDR, for giving me such great guidance at every step of this long-running journey I started 5 months ago. I feel so good that this marathon will be finished in 3-4 years and I will be debt-free! I just approved my first settlement in this timely fashion and it feels awesome to be making progress so soon!

At first I was impressed with Freedom Debt relief. But lately I have tried to express my dissatisfaction with them about dragging out the last few settlements for another 18 months when they could be paid off in 12. They refuse to reply to my emails or return calls when I call and ask why they can't pay these last few debts off faster. I have even threatened to call the AG, but still no calls returned.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the help and encouragement I've received from all the employees I have talked to from the beginning. Any time I had a question or concern I felt free to call and never felt intimidated. Wish I had done this earlier!

Although the online report has never worked for me, the agents have always been cordial and helpful in finding out what is happening. They are effective in dealing with the creditors, but one must be patient! Communication could be better. Thank you for your service.

On apx 4/22/15 I was advised by ** that Freedom needed an extra $180 for six payments ($1,080) to take care of my debt with Discover Card. I asked if I could make a one time payment would the settlement be less. ** called back and said if I could pay $1,280 the debt would be settled. I gave the ok for the separate withdrawal. 4/25/15 spoke to **. I questioned if the $1,280 was the TOTAL amount necessary to satisfy the debt with Discover. ** said yes and it was a savings of over 70%.

I wasn't sure what to think or do when I first became overwhelmed with debt. Finding Freedom Debt Relief has been wonderful. From the beginning, they have been with me all along, keeping in contact, making sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. They provide an online page so I can monitor my progress and call me every other week just to check in and make sure everything is ok.

This is a very difficult situation to be in and quite scary. I would recommend that you do a better job explaining the process to the customer. There are a lot of different ways in which the debt is resolved and understanding those bring a peace of mind.

I have been enrolled in the program for 6 months and 2 of my 10 accounts are already settled for quite a bit lower than they were asking. They worked with me and I picked my payment date and at anytime you want to pay more (which is good because the more you pay towards the payoff the quicker they can settle) you can pay more. The phone calls from creditors were quite annoying but if you just let them know that you are working with Freedom Debt Relief then most of those calls will fade away, and the ones that don't I just auto reject them on my phone.....:)

We began our debt program with Freedom Debt Relief in 2013. Our initial contact with their company was with **, one of their representatives. We spoke on the phone for hours as to what Freedom could do to help resolve our credit card debt. One of my top questions with him was "Will we be responsible, financially, for any 1099C forms sent to us by our creditors?" His response, and I have it in writing, was to "shred any 1099C forms we would receive. We are insolvent and do not have to worry about paying tax on these resolutions."

After I called Freedom to cancel my account with them, they said that I'll have my money back (the monthly drafts they were saving in an account for future use) within 72 hours. I received my money today right when they said I would have it back. Their program may not have worked for me and I cancelled my account with them, but they were honest enough to return my money back. Thank you Freedom.

I started with them in August and have only had 1/7 settled. The only reason it was settled was because of collections. If it hadn't gone to collections I'd still be waiting which I think is ridiculous! I just settled with one of my debtors and settled myself for 50%. When I called Freedom to let them know I need to drop that account they told me to send a fax with an explanation. Why do I have to justify my actions!? You guys are sitting around collecting your money while my accounts are going to collections and getting sued by these companies. There's so much mixed information from every representative you call. I do not recommend this company at all!!!

I joined in October 2014 and so far have heard that FDR was able to negotiate with one creditor. Am hoping that the process would move along a little faster in order to alleviate that number of phone calls from creditors. Also have had one creditor send us to collection and recently received another letter from a new collector for the same creditor.

Everyone associated with freedom debt relief has been very helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and I like their enthusiasm in bringing my debt down and paid off. It's comforting to know they have my back and I don't have to worry anymore about money. I just make my one monthly payment.

I applied for a personal loan with ** who contacted me through my application on LendingTree. In speaking to him once, he informed me only when I asked that the rates range from 11-24%, but it would depend on factors. I figured, since my credit is excellent, I'd be in the lower range. After 2 weeks of back and forth emails and sending documents, I finally received the loan contract. In addition to the loan not being as much as I requested, and the term being 5 years vs 3, the interest rate was 24.3%!!

The services I have received have been life changing for me! I would recommend this program to anyone in need!

I was flustered with talking to creditors on my one with rejection at every turn. So I saw a ad pop up on my computer. So I clicked on it and read a few comments on the page. I was very impressed. I had nothing to lose but rejection, so I called the number. I was impressed on how things were handled and now I’m debt free.

It has been six months since I signed up and only one account has been reached. I am still being harassed by three of my accounts with phone calls as many as 4-5 times a day. I guess that I am impatient. I just felt after 5 months of paying up that at least they would have been notified. Actually, I am not known for my patience. Sears has turned my account over to a collections agency.

I have had a wonderful experience with Freedom Debt Relief. I am finally getting my finances in order. They are working so hard for me to settle all of my debt. I can finally breath knowing it will all be resolved soon. I have struggled for many years trying to pay off my credit cards with just the minimum's due and it just catches up to you where you are getting nowhere. I have an excellent job to pay my bills, I just found I could not pay more than the minimum and the interest rates were outrageous. I have been in the program for almost a year. My credit has completely tanked to the point I cannot apply for any time of anything. I am in dire need of a car and I cannot get one because of my credit is less than 400. When I started the program, I was in the 700s. I was not told of this. I am looking into cancelling my services and settling them on my own. They have only settled one account in almost a year when we were told most would be negotiated immediately and then paid out. I contacted my creditors and none have been contacted. I am not happy with the service and what I signed for.

FDR was to contact my credit card creditors and negotiate a settlement, that included a lower payment of the balance owed. Most creditors apparently are not accepting FDR's terms and continue to make collection calls.

This organization has been fabulous in assisting my relief from debt. At no time did I feel ashamed or depressed about my status. The process was clear and easy to follow. I have relieved myself of 50% of my debt at this time.

According to what I was told and I read online, the resolution process would take just a few months. Within the 7 months we've been a customer, we've had 1 of 4 accounts resolved and 1 of the 4 I removed from the program just to simply continue paying on it. The process was to help us rebuild our credit starting immediately but we our scores are dropping further and further because of the lack of resolution. The communication has been at a ZERO unless I've initiated the conversation. Getting us signed up and money being withdrawn was quick, easy and gave us a lot of hope. Instead, we are very optimistic on our future and how these accounts are being resolved.

I was very nervous at first, but if you review the website and use the helpful information from the learning center section you will be okay. I feel like I'm paying something towards my situation unlike a bankruptcy.

I have always worked in customer service and I will say the people you have on your staff are outstanding with knowing their jobs and knowing how to help with any questions I have had. My hat off to you.

I am happy with the program so far; but the only thing that I am VERY concerned about is the way that the money saved amt is calculated that goes to the IRS as income that I have to pay taxes on. If it's the amt of the creditor bill when I started the program, that's fine; but if it's the amt during the whole 3 yrs that they have piled on monthly interest rates... then I am NOT happy and I will fight this somehow with the IRS. Can you please let me know what the answer is to this question? Thank you.

I was asked to resolve account. I did. They agreed to my settlement. They did not make the payments. I called 5 times to speak to management. Was promised they would call back. Never heard a word. Failure to care about me.

I appreciate the employees that are trying to overcome the creditors I owe to settle agreements to a certain amount so I can continue paying what I owe to Freedom Relief till I get it all pay off and owe nothing. It will be a great relief and work on saving money for the future.

I am happy that I found Freedom. My debt was making me so depressed. They were and are extremely helpful. Looking forward to an earlier pay off next year.

I had the worst experience with Freedom Debt Relief. My account has been paid in full since Nov and I asked them to close it. They keep taking money out of my checking account and keep telling me that closing the account takes time. They didn't even settle all of my debt. The debt collectors just wrote it off and I had to pay Freedom to do nothing. I call every week and they say that they will stop taking my money but they do it anyway. I would not recommend them to anyone and have filed complaints.

Didn't full understand about having to retain the lawyer program for a fee. The fee your company charges misunderstood when I read and when it was explain to me. The person who help gave me his number when I had question to ask but never called me or answered his phone.

Freedom debt relief promised to get rid of debt but after a year of taking $625 dollars a month $425 in non-refundable fees only settled one $1000 credit card for $700. $5000 in fees and still got sued by 3 creditors. Only one creditor said they had even spoken to FDR. Spoke to freedom and told them I received letters from 3 creditors to appear in court and they told me that they're not lawyers and could do nothing about lawsuits and offered me a loan for $45,000 dollars @ 22% to settle the debts. Told them to beat it and asked for refund of money. They told me I could only get money in escrow account about $2300 and said they would not refund fees because they settled one account and fees non-refundable. So bottom line is they lied and screwed me out of about $5000. Don't trust them, only cost $1000 to file bankruptcy and wiped out all debt about $60,000.

They settled my big creditor very quickly and this helped me get back on my feet. I would recommend them to anyone who is in financial stress and needs help.

Example: 1 settled account immediately reduced interest rate from 19% to 6% - Where were they before?

We are 3 months into our debt relief and have settled 2 of 7 creditors. My thought was that by now we would have all creditors settled. I didn't realize that this would take this long. There have been a tremendous amount of phone calls from my creditors daily. Wasn't prepared for that. The first 2 creditors wanted to be paid on their settlements in a matter of months which is an issue because I have only paid in for a few months. I am hoping we can settle with our creditors shortly and get past this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Make lots of promises & don't negotiate for much more than their 21% fee. I need to review that 5 creditors state my 1099s were mailed to this agency & I have not received any of them. Freedom says they didn't receive them. Coincidence? Not!!!

This has been a breath of fresh air in the swamp of debt! Everyone at the company has been more than helpful and informative, also reassuring. They started paying off my accounts immediately, and all my harassing phone calls are gone away. I would recommend FDR to anyone who is drowning in debt.
