So far it has not lived up to expectations. The person who signed me up for the service was offering loans then switched to the debt service, but would only speak to me via phone. And on those phone calls she promised a number of things which turned out to be untrue. I wish I had recorded the calls. When I confronted her I received a demeaning email filled with lies about our conversations. I am hoping this was just the one person there and that things improve. I have had 2 settlements though both were for less savings than I was told to expect. And though I was told my end date would not change it already has been pushed back several months. So there is still about 4 years for Freedom Debt Relief to turn things around. I sincerely hope they do, as right now I am very disappointed.

FDR is anxious to get you as a customer, but they don't tell you everything at first. They need to be honest about whether or not they can negotiate with certain creditors. And they should advise you not to include those creditors that refuse any kind of settlement. Because those creditors will take legal action, and NLLG is no help whatsoever. It is like not having representation. FDR isn't great at negotiating settlements either. They were not able to reduce the debts by as much as they advertised. All in all, a terrible experience.

Customer service has been very helpful when I have had questions and concerns in regards to information or handling calls from creditors during this process. Since November of 2016 I have been calling every month to have one of my credit cards paid. That bank never accepted the payments Freedom Debt Relief because missing the agreement signed by me. This started since Oct 2015 and wasn't aware of any issues until the bank contacted me expecting payments. 7 months of calls and still not resolved the issue.
Today a representative and his manager told me they (Freedom Debt Relief) did what they supposed to do and is problem of the bank not accepting the payments. I called the bank and they said they need to renegotiate the settlement and I called back to Crossroads Financial, and they said until Freedom don't fix the issue with bank, those payments will not be clear out and be cashed by them. Since October 2015 until today I have been paying fees to Crossroads every month, receiving call from my bank, and still not a final solution.

Because of debt relief and how this company has helped me find a way to deal with the problem, has given me peace of mind. It hasn't been easy with the creditors constantly calling but there has been progress, I had one creditor settle for less than fifty percent.

When I originally signed up for the program I was told most of the negotiation was done in the beginning. However only one of my loans was solved. And my rep does not call to give me heads up on what's to come. I am basically making payments and hoping for the best.

I didn't expect my credit score to drop 200 points. Disappointed. And I still get threatening collection letters. Customer Service Department is very friendly and helpful. I hope that when the program is done, my credit score will rise rapidly. I also didn't know accurately that a percentage is added to the payoff.

Overall I would recommend the service to others. It has allowed my family to get back on our feet and have a game plan to get out of debt. The only thing that I question is, what to do next, and I think that is because Freedom handles each account for me and I really just have to wait. I am a little concerned to say the least, I am worried that the final date for my debt will continue to be pushed past my original estimate of 2020. I am concerned I can't trust this company. I recently received an offer for a loan to settle the rest of my debt... Why would I sign on for a loan that pushes the term out past 2021 and also raises my payment? No one in their right mind is making that deal. I have read all about everything that happens with companies like NDR, but what can I the consumer do? You wanted my feedback... hope you are ready for the truth.

One creditor refused to negotiate so Freedom paid off the total amount, problem was that I went from a 9% interest to a 22% interest and still had to pay the Freedom fee even though they provided no value with this creditor.

For a few months now, I've been trying to find a debt relief solution that would actually work with me. Most companies didn't respond to my inquiry and a couple that did told me I didn't have enough debt. And then I heard from Gregory at Freedom Debt Relief, and within a few days we had me set up with a plan that was affordable, reasonable in time, and, best of all, would take care of all my debt. I unexpectedly became overwhelmed with debt. I wanted out without having to file bankruptcy and still be able to save for the future. I had never heard of debt settlement but had recently become aware of the concept of "pay yourself first". This is exactly what FDR does for you. Gets rid of the ridiculously high interest rates cc companies are allowed to charge and puts that money back in your pocket so you can break the cycle of using your cc's for little expenses (which add up quick)!! I was thoroughly impressed with their transparency. I was given the worse case scenarios but also given in detail (I love a good bar graph!) how much money they could save me overall. Stop putting money in bank's pockets through high interest and give it back to yourself. Granted, I'm only at the beginning of the process, but I'm sold. I have a degree in accounting and am convinced this is a solid alternative vs bankruptcy!!!

I lost sleep over all my debt and worry was making me sick. I called and spoke to him. He walked me thru it all. It was a lot to take in at first and when I had questions days later he immediately responded and was full of knowledge and reassured me that this was a great choice for me. Tyler was very helpful and explained my options, but I do feel like I only have a partial understanding of this process. It feels scary to voluntarily stop payments on my credit card but I am optimistic and have read the client testimonials. When I started to look for help to pay off my debt because it got out of control I started checking agencies. I called different ones. It's a scary thing to do over the internet. But when I spoke with one the representatives he looked at my information to see if I would qualify. I did. He then started to explain the process and the amount I owed. He then came up with the monthly payment I would be making. In setting up the paperwork that needed to be filled they were very patient and understanding when I had problems submitting documents. Then teaching me how to log on to the dashboard. When settlements were made it is up to me if I accept them or not. They have been very helpful to me in taking care of my debt. It's a difficult decision to make and sometimes making the call is even more overwhelming. Jennifer was very calm and took her time to explain everything. She also allowed me the time needed to ask all my questions. There was no rushing through a presentation. The steps were explained as were the options the company offers to help people like me who want to pay their debt, but who find themselves in financial hardship situations. During my conversation with her and even after hanging up, I did not find myself with the uncomfortable, not-too-convinced nagging feeling I have had with other companies I called. Jon called to review options of debt relief. He helped explain the amount I was paying monthly for credit card debt and the amount I can save. Jon described in detail the program and what I am to expect. I was concerned by not making payments, it would affect my credit score. My mate passed May 26th and cut my income by half, I was overcome by it all. She paid half of everything but now there was no way I could pay all the bills.
