The entire process was straightforward and I felt secure in regards to confidentiality. I am grateful for the thousands of dollars I saved by using Freedom Debt Relief. My one complaint is the last account took over a year to negotiate.

I went in with 4 accounts in need of remediation. From the onset there were terrible breakdowns in communication and annoyances - like being told one thing by one rep and something else from another. Submitted documents were never received and I was not told so until valuable time had passed. Constant calls from reps - completely unaware of my pre-existing concerns issues only made it more aggravating. First account was settled with a savings in my favor, so regrettably, I stayed with the program. The next account resulted in a deal wherein the agents at Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) agreed to a set of terms I would not have accepted, resulting in me being tied down to a full repayment over a ridiculously extended period of time. Attempts to negotiate for a quicker payoff were rebuffed and I was constantly on the phone with the collection agency and their lawyers and the people at FDR.

Freedom Debt Relief was extremely helpful in getting my bills consolidated so I could get out of debt faster. They were always helpful when I had questions or concerns. I am very glad I went with them to help me. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was pleased to have found a solution to some difficult decisions that needed to be made regarding our finances. Freedom helped set it up, it was easy to follow and you could reach them to ask if you had any questions. I would recommend them for sure, the only suggestion I have is to have a transition with credit repair to follow, that would make it better.

With an alarming credit card debt I felt overwhelmed. My husband and I felt bankruptcy was out of the question. Freedom Debt was a way for us to take responsibility for our situation and get out of the debt abyss in a little over three years. I am grateful and finally have peace of mind. My back was against the proverbial wall. I did not think I had any options and then after listening to the radio, I contacted Freedom Debt Relief. They said it would not be easy, the going would get tough, but the results would justify the pain. They were honest, upfront, and did not sugarcoat what the process would be and what would be the outcome. I wished I would have found them sooner. I would heartily recommend them... This company is a ripoff and I regret the day I got involved with them. I was told so many lies and when everything was said and done, my debt was just as high and I had a loan with a ridiculous interest rate. Their settlements were terrible and time I paid their fees, I didn't save anything. My ex-husband moved to another company and they settled his debts for way lower than this company settled mine. Would not recommend to anyone.

Honestly, I honestly wish I had stayed with Freedom to get this over and not gone through Consolidated. I am now attempting to get my credit good enough that I can get a new loan with a much lower interest rate. Talk about punishment! In fact, sometimes I think it would have been better to go through bankruptcy. Everyone was nice, no problems there. I am glad I can do this on a monthly basis, etc., etc., but wow! The interest rate is off the wall!

Great program/paid all my bills in a timely manner. Credit Score went down but that is what was explained by the customer representative before I agreed to go with the program. It is a well worth program to get you disciplined and out of debt. Try it.

My initial experience was good. They negotiated to have a great deal of my debt reduced but their suggestion to NOT pay my bills during the time of the negotiation was counter productive, ruined my credit and was very bad advice. After I enrolled in the program I found another program that I recommended to my sister and they did a much better job with one flat fee. Then they recommended the consolidation debt to pay off my balance due, but the interest rate was 22.99%, and this was in addition the fees originally charged.

Savings of thousands of dollars of debt. Staff was very helpful and expedient. Administration of our account was handled very professionally. Extremely polite. Would recommend to a friend. Easy to use format and resources. Enrollment was straight forward and very informative.

I heard an advertisement on the radio for Freedom Debt Relief and called them. They were very understanding and thoroughly explained the process and would follow up from time to time just to check on us. I had one direct draft monthly payment and they did an excellent job of negotiating on our behalf. I have recommended Freedom Debt Relief to friends and family and will continue to do so. They still send a birthday greeting each year and I have been done with my payments for 3 years. Excellent company.

Freedom Financial facilitated the erasure of my debt. They worked with creditors to reduce my debt by nearly half and allowed me to make manageable monthly payments while they negotiated. In just under 4 years I was debt free. My credit score dropped significantly at the beginning of the program but rebounded as I paid down debt. Now I'm back to a healthy score. They were always available to answer questions and the customer service was fantastic.

All personnel I spoke with were courteous and helpful throughout the entire process until the very end. They kept me informed about my progress and I had access to my account info anytime I wanted it. So far I feel comfortable with the situation. I just can wait till the ball starts rolling. Once you start eliminating my accounts I'll be more relax with my situation. I know the more money I put into my account the quicker I could resolve my financial situation.

I am 65 and I knew I had to do something about my credit card debt before I retired. I was making the minimum payments but not making any progress in paying them off. The process for me was very smooth. I will be honest, I always worried about the one creditor that would want to sue me or take legal actions but thankfully that never happened. For me the credit hit (your score will surely drop by a lot of points) was worth the stability that I have now, not having $40,000 of debt that I was making minimum payments on with interest rates that would have made paying it off a life time commitment. The one thing that I enjoyed the most during the process is that every call/email that I made was answered or returned within 48 hours. That allowed me to have confidence in the process. This is definitely not for everyone, but it was surely for me and Freedom Debt Relief made the process easy to complete.

Freedom Debt Relief is an amazing organization that has provided me with support, direction, and confidence in the process of aligning my debt repayment with my reduced income. Every contact that I have had from FDR to Consolidated Plus has been exceptional because each representative was not only knowledgeable and aware of my needs, they were always and I mean always COURTEOUS.

My experience with FDR has truly been a blessing. At the age of 61 I retired from my job. I had to buy my own insurance until I make 62, having to pay copay and co-insurance when I went to doctors, therapist and so forth, because for the most part they wanted their monies before the procedures. The little 401k I had went in a flash. So with everything on my plate I couldn't see how I was going to be able to make payments and keep my great credit record. Then one day I got a letter from FDR. They offered me a way to get me out of debt. I called them, that same day we worked out a plan for me. It is a long journey but in a few years I will be debt free. FDR has given me a peace of mind.

Tony ** was wonderful to talk with. He answered all my questions and I never felt pushed or rushed on making my decision to work with Freedom Debt Relief. Very good experience. Am having trouble adding in my complete account numbers. Was able to input 2 accounts the day I signed up, but not able to now. Will have to call to find out how to do this.

I have to up front say that your company did exactly what you promised to do for me. You offered to negotiate with my creditors to reduce the debt I owed. From $30,000 to just below $14,000 is what I got. Your company effectively brokered the funds and provided each company with the payoff negotiated. What NO ONE in the entire process told me was that the amount of debt reduction negotiated by Freedom with each of the creditors is considered income by the IRS. Each of the lenders reported the reduction of debt to the IRS. And the IRS just sent me my adjusted income tax return for the year with - guess what - an additional $16,000 in income for the year - payable immediately. Freedom - if you knew this, you should have told me this before we began the journey. If you didn't know this - you don't know your job.

While our experience is still in early stages, so far all representatives have been totally upfront in explaining the processes and answering any questions I have or concerns that come up. I am looking forward to resolving our debt crisis with the help of FDR professionals.

The last three accounts were on hold for over a year without resolve. Other than that things went well. Lack of updating, had to inquire several times the about progress on accounts. There was no one on one feedback. If I did not inquire it may have sat another year.

Never a problem & always great to work with - All the team members were great. Customer service was always willing to help when it was needed. Your personal team parties are always helpful. Payments are low. The only thing I did not like is that they put in the program & then change you to a loan to get your debts paid off faster, and they paid off a different debt from my original entry into the program.

My first conversation with someone in this office was very satisfactory - they seem to know what they are doing and I was really impressed by the way they talked to me - the tone of their voice sounded very concerned and helpful. I really enjoyed talking with them and hopefully everything will work out right with their help.

So far so good, I followed the instructions for dealing with my creditors and there have been few calls from them. I plan on resolving my debts in less time than allowed so I can get back on track with my good credit rating. Glad I found out about this program.

I went through the program. Paid off all my Debt, still debt free with a 744 credit score! Not the easiest to do, but the feeling of no debt is a big relief. Could not have done it without Freedom Financial taking my back. It was great to have the phone calls stop and Freedom to handle everything.

I'm sorry but I would not recommend the program to anyone. I was misled by your team of employees. I ended up being in debt much longer than I was told and my credit was destroyed. I hope you will be more upfront with you future clients so they know it may take years for you to settle some of the debt. They informed me once I stopped paying they would be in a position to start settling and that was not the case. Majority of my credit cards were not settled for years. I had to leave the program and do the consolidated credit instead.

I was very satisfied with the FDR services which has already enabled me to reduce my debt by 50%. However, I am not very satisfied with my ConsulPlus services. Mailed a package to them April regarding hardship payment reduction which alleged they never got. Then faxed the information in July via phone calls. Hear they are backlogged per Lachelle. Still waiting for confirmation that the faxed 20 pages were received as of 08/09/17. Feel I am being ignored.

While it is tempting to accept a payoff settlement, beware of the service fees and interest charges. My debt was settled with my creditors for what appeared to be a very reasonable amount. But by the time Consolidation Plus added their fees and the interest rate, the new total I owed them, was not so attractive as what they had settle for.

Because creditors were not paid timely to Captial One I had a judgment placed against me which has done terrible damage to my credit. I was not notified that more money was needed to pay this creditor and therefore they took me to small claims court. I was and still am very upset.

I was able to get my debt reduced and my payments down to manageable amounts each month without all of it going to interest. Before Freedom Debt Relief, I felt overwhelmed with my credit card debt and trying to get the principal amount down. To me it was getting hopeless. After working with Freedom Debt Relief I see an end to my debt in four years with payments I can manage. Maybe even sooner, if I can make bigger payments which I plan to do when I can. To be frank, I was concerned about participating in this service. My wife and I had accumulated a lot of debt, and we're considering filing for bankruptcy. Did what they promised. But you have to be careful because one hand does not know what the other is doing. They will make an offer and not have the funds to cover it because someone else has already promised the funds available to someone else. After finished was receiving things that needed to be reported on income tax months after filling. When questioned why they said they were short handed.

Freedom Debt Relief allowed me to pay off bills in smaller amounts, although some CC completed a 1099C which forces you to claim the write off in your taxes. This hurt during the financial struggle, but I am happy to say, I am DEBT FREE... Difficult time, but well worth it. Now to begin a Newer, Richer financial life style. Not 100% good to my credit report. I tried unsuccessfully contact the person who was handling my settlements since one of the accounts still show as pending in my credit report. I'm not happy with that since I thought all settlements were done. I don't know at this point, who to contact since my last contacts with you guys were pretty slow.

Debt settlement is pretty nerve racking. Freedom tried to be reassuring, I had to fight my own demons, with regard to the settlements. For the most part I was very satisfied, only one account was allowed to go to legal department. I wasn't happy that this account wasn't settled before I was served, it was settled by the time I had to appear in court with that information. I have been able to buy a car and a new house since the settlement. I am still feeling the effects on my credit score but everything should be dropping soon. I recommend Freedom when things happen in your life and you know you can't get out of debt. BUT learn from your credit errors.

In my haste to get everything settled, and given this it. I agreed to it. But now down the road after the dust settled. It has sunk in that interest rate is so high. I have tried to refinance but cannot get it. So I am just going to keep making the loan payments.

It sounded so great that payments would be lower this & that, but there always a CATCH. You paid into & then transferred to Consolidation plus & payments are higher. Interest is higher. Credit scores goes down & after that you need to pay IRS!!! When negotiations is made the balance becomes the income to you!!! Never never will I recommend to anyone!!! I'm still in Debt!!! Sounded too good!!!

I was desperate to get my debt down when I made contact with you. Part of the position you took was that your company would make all contacts with all the company's which I owed money. As you stated you would bargain with each company in order to lower payout. You did get a few to reduce their products payment but then I had to do the rest. First I was uncomfortable with the processing and I am certain that I didn't do a good job. The most disappointment was that after my credit went from the high 700's to 500. Since then it has been a struggle to get out of the low 600's. I have not missed a payment and still I cannot seem to recover.

I am happy that I have selected Freedom Debt Relief to assist me in resolving my debt problem. I feel that they are the ones to help me after viewing several other aspects. I look forward to meeting my goals with FDR.

I was pleased with the Freedom Debt Relief. They assisted me when I needed it the most. Financial struggles happen every day, to people of all walks of life. Having an attorney contracted through Freedom also made it less challenging when one of my creditors tried to sue.

At first I was skeptical, however, I needed help to rein in my debt and pay off my debt. Through Freedom, I was able to pay my debt at a reduced cost. There will be some set back on your credit score, however, once you pay off your debt through the program, your credit score will correct itself and you realize the benefit of the program. It is not always easy, however, it is totally worth it.

DF allowed us to have a financial plan to remove a sizeable debt that allowed us to have a final goal of a payoff. However, one bill was forgotten about and went to a lawyer. Because of our extreme persistence, it was finally taken care of but ultimately caused much stress.

Since I retired and am living on a fixed income that barely pays for my house payment and utilities, I've been struggling financially. This meant my credit card debt was getting paid late sometimes and I was getting fees that just kept getting higher. I was please with the reduction in debt that was settled. Overall I was able to cancel debt quicker. Only complaint was the original agent said we could pay an extra fee after debt was cleared and it would wipe the default from our credit report. Later representatives knew nothing about this. My credit score didn't drop very much all said and done. =)

I joined in 2015 & satisfied with Freedom then I received a call to see if I wanted to process the project sooner, and I stated yes & as a Senior I did not understand the complete process & just wanted the payments to be paid. Then I signed up with Consolidated (Loan). Once this was done I became ill with Stage 3 Cancer left kidney and had to have one half of the left kidney removed and still doctoring @ this time with Leukocytosis, Etc.. I called to see if I could set up Hardship and was passed on to person after person & did not return my e-mails than finally declined in 2016 - tried again in 2017 & they did allow to lower the payment for 3 months only. Wish that I could have this extended **Future clients - **Please make sure you read & understand the process**.

Started this journey with Freedom 2 1/2 years ago unwillingly, but I must say it was the best decision my husband and I made. The process was without problem, we were kept abreast of all negotiations. Two of our debts were totally cleared, no penny down. The others were all settled at 40% and or more. Customer service personnel also called monthly to ensure I was aware of the different processes and encouraged continuous participation via the web portal. Freedom's appreciation for their customers is evident in the awesome birthday cards sent and signed and also the continued encouragement in congratulations following each settlement. I was able to get my debt covered in time but was not made aware I would receive tax documents for the debt that was taken away. There are specific forms that help with this. If they told me it was not obvious. My credit report still had blemishes on it that was promised to be taken care of. I ended up doing it myself after the process was over. In the end still happy they helped me.

Laid off for over 2 years and unable to find employment, FDR worked with my creditors and helped me come to an affordable plan to meet my financial obligations. They were very professional, non-judgmental, and expedient in their service. My credit score is back to 750+!

My experience was great but 2 yrs. later I receive a form saying that I have received extra income that I must claim on taxes. It cost me a headache and 1000 dollars. But this form was from only one bank so be careful which banks you do this with. Make sure you do your research.
