The BEST place to get a loan is at WORLD FINANCE in Sulphur Springs, Texas. The manager there Richard is the nicest person you will EVER meet. He will do whatever he can to help you out. This is the only place I go for a loan. He will work with you to help YOU out. I have been using World Finance for a few years and I have NEVER had a issue there. I'm telling you folks if you are in need of a loan WORLD FINANCE in SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS is the place to go. And I guaranty that you will not be disappointed and you will meet the nicest guy ever. I would never get a loan from the Merrilville office again something is going on. It’s fraudulent we make a payment and it doesn’t add up. I have been making payments for the last 2 years. I have well over paid it. They keep saying I owe more money and I don’t know who to contact.

Went through the loan process on Friday but was told I would get a call back that day. That didn't happen. I had to call them back Monday and was told I was approved. Took off from work early because they made me an appointment to finalize it luckily I called before I went then was told I wasn't approved. So I got off work 4 hours early because this place stays open until 5:30. I am pissed. Then the young man helping called the home office to see if he get an approval and they want an employment history for a 3rd time. It just seems like they are not together. I'm just done for the day. From the reviews maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I can only imagine what a hassle it would be to pay them off early because this wasn't going to be a large loan.

Worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. If I wasn't experiencing a medical emergency and needed to travel I would have never asked them for help. I fell behind one month and they have completely destroyed my credit. They harassed me at my job and at my home and quite frankly I would like to tell them to get **. That is about the nicest thing I can say about this company if I could give them negative Stars I'd give them the most possible. Horrible company. Never will ever give them business again.

Today I went to World Finance Corp in Effingham IL. Was a nice visit. I went there for a loan renewal & was pleasantly surprised to get more than I expected, so I left there happy! & the employees there are friendly, they are good at what they do. I want to say the ladies at World Finance in Salyersville KY are the best, if only they didn't have so much paperwork for you to sign. It would be even better they need the electronic machine that you just sign, other than that it is a great place to get a loan.

World Finance has changed over the past few years. I have had several loans in the past with them and they were great here. Lately it is like talking to a loan shark. Salem In office acts like it is an inconvenience to even take your application over the phone, I will go elsewhere.

I asked for a loan to help me with some bills and to help pay for my autistic son field trip to Six Flags to Chicago this Friday and they denied me. So now my son will go from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm with not being able to eat anything all day. I won’t recommend my family or friends to this place at ALL.

I have had several loans with World Finance, and the loan interest is 85.91 percent, which is omg high intrest when my credit score has been over 700. I called to speak with the MO. Branch about the interest rates and was told the computer automatically generates the rates and so they can't do anything about it. My payment history has always been good. But After this, I will no longer borrow money from them when they don't consider one's credit score or payment history. And slam you with the highest rates overall. The only plus side to get them 1 star is the employees are great. Too bad it doesn't make up for greedy rates.

I have had a loan with this company. For a long time I was very good at keeping up with my payments but have ran into a lot of financial problems the last few months with my debts and could no longer keep up with everything so I decided to take out bankruptcy. I’m in the process with working with an attorney on taking care of this. Well this company was calling my phone everyday about a payment so I called them back and told them I’m in the process of doing a bankruptcy. I gave them my attorney's name and phone number to his office so they could call him concerning the matter. Well the calls stopped for a few weeks and now they are starting back up again. This is harassment. They should be talking to my attorney concerning this not me. I’m very displeased with this company. I don’t want the calls anymore especially on a Saturday. Very unacceptable. Don’t take out loans with these people. Not worth it at all.

My experience with World Finance has been absolutely "AWESOME". Their Customer Service Team Karen & Ashley at the Abbeville, SC branch are 100% Legit. Karen and her Team are the real deal. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and kind and never make you feel foolish or bad for needing to borrow money. They go the extra mile for you. You can also apply online and never have to even go in the office and you can sign your papers online. Also very very helpful.

First off the staff treated me well and of course I already knew I would get the loan. You couldn't ask for nicer girls to be at the front desk for customer service they did their part thank you. What I'm not happy about is the principal payment so this leads me to a question does World Finance actually help people or do they help their self? Because from my point of view the borrower is the servant to the lender. The principal payment proves that World Finance doesn't care about the people. Sure I might use them again in the future but I'm not happy doing that paying back twice the amount they lend is evil. You better believe they're happy about that for sure. With World Finance you gain one pain to lessen another.

I've had a great experience with WF. The branch manager in Cookeville Tn has always been able to work with us specially during Covid. She always has a smile. I began dealing with WF when it first came into our small town of Carthage MS. I have ALWAYS paid my loans off early. In August 2019, I had some financial issues and got behind on payments. I paid my loan off even though I was behind. I received a phone call asking if I need some cash and Lord knows I did. I did the application, only for them to deny me based on 1 bad payment history. They overlooked past countless times of early payoff. I am disappointed and hurt because I need the loan and I was depending on them since they called me. I don't want them to ever contact me again. Please don't ever get in a financial bind and miss payments because they will blackball you.

I really do love my World Finance in Cullman Alabama. The ladies that work there are so nice. I just love talking to them. So of the other Companies are not as nice, they just want to take your payment and not be sociable with there costumers but World Finance does. I like that in a company.

I received a loan from this company back in October 2019. I then was laid off in November 2019. I told them this and they were at first compassionate. Until January 2020 they reported negative remarks on my credit reports and have threatened me over the phone. Branch Manager Maggie began to yell at me and told me I was to call her everyday or else! They have no compassion or manners!

I've had 16 loans through this company over roughly 10 years. Every loan paid off early, every early payoff resulted in a large drop in interest. This last loan I took was for 1996, full term interest would be 2772 payout. I paid the loan off in 11 months (rather than the full term) and they knocked off 70. Do the math. Roughly 26% interest on a loan paid out 7 months early resulted in paying 2702? I brought this to her attention and she swore to be damned I'm wrong. I'll never do business with them again. This is robbery! I'll be calling corporate this afternoon and if monetary reimbursement is refused, my next call will be to my attorney.

In 2005 I had a tooth pulled which developed into an infection in my gum. Unfortunately that infection traveled around my head and stopped right on my brain stem which caused me to have a stroke and paralyzed the complete right side of my body. The doctors told me that due to the fact I have scar tissue and shadows on my brain stem from the infection I was very susceptible to having another stroke. Well 14 years later I needed another tooth pulled and it was going to cost me over $200. I didn't have it at the time and I was worried to death because it was a life-or-death situation for me. I called all over trying to get a loan to pay for this dental work and no one would give me a loan.

This is the message I sent them today. NASTY PEOPLE. I am extremely upset with your Russellville ky store. I walked in with my service dog and the manager was extremely rude telling me that you have a strict rule of no dogs service related or not. This is against the law as service dogs that are certified can go anywhere the owner goes. (My dogs certification is 122176). She tried telling me it was because if someone came into the location and had an allergic reaction World Finance would be liable. This is incorrect. Now I am an honest person and admit that on this day he did not have his service collar on as it was left in a car broken down 20 miles away and at a shop, however I offered to show her his certification. She refused. I would like for the main corporate office to please inform her of the laws governing service dogs.

I never seeked to do business with this company, but they acquired the local loan company I have been doing business with years without problems. One day I begin receiving phone messages (up to 5 per day; home, work and mobile) to call World Finance. Of course, I am thinking it's a scam and why are these people contacting me? AFTER receiving these calls for 12 days and receiving 16 (YES-16!) letters, I finally received one saying they had purchased my original loan company. Mind you, they have been adding late fees even before they informed me I had been "acquired" by them. I make payments online and keep the local office informed of when to expect my payments, etc as I am a stage 3 cancer patient.

I went to the location on Keystone. Portia and the rest of the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with obtaining a loan. I would definitely recommend them. I felt comfortable and relaxed. They are GREAT!!!

I just finished reading all the reviews on this company and noticed they were all out of state (TN here). The World Finance here in Dyersburg is wonderful! They're very professional and efficient whenever I call them with a question. I guess everyone needs a Dyersburg store so they'd experience the same greatness.

Never deal with them. Wanted a loan for 4,000 for a 6,000 trailer. They wanted that title plus my car title. Jumped thru all the hoops then deal went to hell after the man I was buying the race car training for fax them copy of title it was from Illinois. I live in Mo. They won’t do it. My question why no answer. This is a week of wait for answer of loan. They are useless and don’t waste your time. Find a good company. They are not the one. They will waste time, want a arm and leg and do nothing. Good luck. And don’t use them.

I go to the Hartford, WI location and once I'm paid off I will never do business with them again. I got a $750 loan and owe almost $2000 because of all the interest they charge. Kayla is a scam on a personal level so imagine what she does for the business. Can't wait to be done with them!!

I had emergency car repair and needed a small loan fast. I don’t really have much credit and they were able to get me a loan the same day. Jessica the manager helped me out when no one else would. I was provided quick friendly service and will most definitely be doing business with them again. I was quite shocked by some of these reviews as my personal experience was very positive.

This probably won’t get published because my last one didn’t but here goes anyway. I was trying to refinance my loan and they wouldn’t let me. Plus they lowered my credit rating with them. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody and they sure are not getting any stars from me. I’m only one month behind and I call corporate office and they won’t do anything about it. Can’t wait for mine to be paid up. I will never work with them again especially Chelsea. We had a manager before who was a lot nicer and a lot more accommodating. This is not the kind of business that Chelsea should be in.

I got a loan in June of 2018 and paid it off with my first payment in July 2018. $500 loan cost me over $1500. When I asked why I still had to pay the full amount I was told that I hadn't made enough payments to lower the amount. Really! I then needed a loan in December 2018 because my dog got very sick and needed vet care. I went and got a loan for $500 once again. Even though I had paid off my first loan within a month they wouldn't approve me for more. In March I went and had money added to my loan because they called and said I was approved for more. They added $200 and it raised my loan to almost $2000. How does less than $700 turn into that much.

Beware they will try to humiliate you. I was late on a loan I received from them. So far they have called my sister, brother, mother and landlord telling them I owe them money and they are trying to reach me. One of their employees followed my husband while he was out to Walmart to ask him when she could pick up my collateral. Mind you I’m only one payment late on a 200.00 dollar personal loan.

This company changed information on my tax papers and took over half my taxes. I have been calling and trying to talk to someone in the Complaint Department since Feb 6, 2019 and to this day nobody has called me back to fix this problem of information being changed on my tax forms and why over half of my taxes were taken. This company is so unprofessional and I would NOT recommend anyone to use it!

Do not get a loan with this company! They lie to get your business, then give false information about your payment amounts, payment schedule, etc. They also want enough collateral to cover 4 times the loan amount. Horrible customer service!

A lady told me that I was able to get more money from them. To meet up with her and she will discuss it with me. I went on my hr. Lunch break. Got there and was interested in the loan. Then she tells me I needed my last two check stubs. I was not happy. I drove all the way over there for this. It took me 20 to 25 min driving from my job to there. Then told me to come next day. That she would be there till 12 pm. I got there at 11:58 am. And I look up and she was telling me they are closed. I look down at the time on my phone. By then it was 11:59 am. So she must of locked the door earlier than 11:58 am.

When World Finance took over for Texan Credit Corporation, life became hell and so did the customer service. They give you false information about your payments when and if you are able to renew your loan, they lose your paperwork so when you come to renew your loan they don't have your info so you have to wait and then go back over everything you did. But worst of all, they call you and tell you that you are eligible for an increase on your loan, so you go to get it and they ask you for so much collateral that you damn near have to put your house up to meet their collateral amount, and if you can't meet the amount then you can't renew your loan. They speak to you in such an arrogant and condescending tone, that you would rather do business online, rather than dealing with them in person. I wouldn't use this company again if my mama's life depended on it and she's been dead for 10 years!

They're okay. I was surprised to get approved. Of course they call you when you're late! I would expect anyone to follow up w/ you when you don’t pay on time. It's a little unclear how much extra you are charged if you choose to refinance your loan?

I needed a quick loan for an emergency so I tried World Finance Corp first. BIG MISTAKE! They added all sorts of charges that totaled over $500. A $1200 loan over 18 months costs $2,268! To pay it off in less than a week the pay off was $1,500! I asked what the $300 charges are & staff said they had no idea! This was the same staff who were making disparaging remarks about people who were calling them for loans while I sat in their office the week prior. PLEASE try somewhere else before trying here. A loan from Regional Finance for $1,800 for 18 months only charges $479.87 interest! Total pay off would be $2,279.87. You get $600 more in your pocket! See the difference? Yes, really bad interest and charges, but the staff's attitude was disturbing as well! Please go somewhere else for a loan. Gainesville, GA office is a rip off!

Make a long story short. I received 2 loans from World Finance in Aurora Illinois. Everything was fine until I referred someone to them and they never sent me a refer check of $25. I've talked to everyone at this location such as Daniel, Krystal and Brandon for weeks into months about my check. No one help me but want to call me about my last payment of $68... You want your money. I want mine. They gave me problems about the lil check and couldn't give me any answers. I would never go back and wouldn't refer no one here to this establishment.

I called to make arrangements on my payments that I am behind on and the manager was very, very rude. I was telling him that I can't give exact date or time because I might don't come because of work and he said, "Who don't know their work schedule" and telling me, "You don't pay rent, you don't pay this. Why you not paying your bill on time" when he doesn't know what I pay. And I'm giving him my address and he's telling me, "No you don't live there." And I'm telling him, "Yes I do live there."

I called back to the company World Finance in Bessemer AL and told them I received a message after applying online. She asked me my name and spelled it out to her and she said please hold. My wife was talking to me about it and the last hung up on me not once but twice!!! I would have no stars.

Applied for a personal loan to help my Son who was in dire straits 1300 miles away, they had first approached me by email. They can’t even talk decent to you on the phone. I only asked for a small amount, they never got back with me, so I’m sure they are sending a decline letter and it reduced my credit score a lot just applying with them. Never again, ask anyone but them for help.

The only thing I don't like is, if I renew my loan I have to add more collateral. Why??? My loan amount didn't increase. Nope, I won't be renewing my loan, unless it's an emergency. That is so so crazy.

I took out a loan against my car title and wound up filing for bankruptcy. My bankruptcy was paid off and discharged. I go to get my title back and they lost it. They said that they applied for a new one. It's been 3 1/2 weeks and still no title. I've gotten titles back in a week or less. I'm thinking of contacting a lawyer. DO NOT DO A CAR LOAN WITH THEM ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE HAVING THE TITLE TO YOUR CAR.

For several years I have been an on time loan customer paying nearly $200 a month to World Finance. I should have questioned my instincts when the LOAN OFFICER SUGGESTED DOCTORING PAPERWORK TO GET APPROVAL. However, I was backed into a position that I needed the cash. The knowledge that most of their applicants are in 'some type of need' puts the practice of allowing 'wink wink' documents as federally illegal. It is also a practice of coercion, to get people to sign loan documents for which they are desperate to obtain funds at extreme interest rates. Also federally illegal. But I digress.

I took out a loan with this company due to the fact I fell short of cash after being on sick leave. Listening to one of my friends >> I shouldn't have and they approved me for a $1200 loan. I fell behind on my payments and when I spoke to one of associates in the Pontiac, IL office, she noted my account that I would be making a payment. The manager in the Matteson, IL office ignored the notes on the account and went ahead and send a wage garnishment to my employer.

I've been a customer for 8 years. Yesterday I made a payment and asked where I was at because I was thinking of taking a vacation in a few months. Told me I should be fine and reminded me I was available for a 1000 dollar increase if I needed money sooner. Last night my mother's twin brother passed away. So with having to travel from Missouri to Texas with taking off work that 1000 that was available was a godsend. Until I went to borrow and manager of Grandview MO branch said it wasn't available. Not sure how computer says it's there one day but not the next. Why blatantly lie to your customers who have been in good standing for 8 years??

I had my taxes prepared recently at World Finance in Waxahachie TX. I could have done them myself, but I have a vacation to Mexico planned and wanted to be sure and have my return deposited and accessible before I left. I specifically asked what the charges were, and was told $79 for two w-2 forms. I also had some mileage deductions to consider, and asked if it would cost extra. The answer I received was no, it shouldn't affect the charges.

I've been a customer with the company for almost five years at the branch of Alexandria, LA and I can safely say that I have had the most wonderful experience being a customer of theirs and hope to be one in the future as well.

I was approved for a loan, and I went down to the Piedmont location to submit my documents. The employee (Tanya) and her manager are really two of the dumbest people I have ever met. Tanya took a look at my pay-stubs and apparently could not understand simple arithmetic. She claimed my pay-stub amount was incorrect and for that reason, she would not be able to proceed with my loan. She showed my stubs to her manager, who also was too dumb to realize that the math added up. I handle two separate accounts for one corporation, and therefore I receive two different pay-stubs. I explained this to her manager, and to my amazement she still couldn't wrap her tiny brain around this simple fact. I think I am actually more annoyed at how stupid they are, rather than the fact that I wasted my time driving down there and did not get the loan I was approved for.

Worse place to get a loan. Went in and loan was ready but social security card has my maiden name and driver's license has my maiden and married name. They wouldn't take it. Never had problems but today. They were rude as hell. Never will I recommend them to nobody. This was in Chesnee, SC.

So far I have been very pleased with World Finance. They have helped me with a couple of small loans. Their payment option is low and manageable and every time I have gone in to see them I was greeted well and made to feel welcome.

This place is a joke. I have been waiting for over a week for a response on my approval status. Every time I call to see if I'm approved I'm told that I will receive a callback later on that day or the next day. Not to mention when I went into the office to fill out my paperwork I was told that I would hear back from someone later that day. Just full of lies and excuses. I don't recommend this place to anyone that is in need of a loan for an emergency. Not surprised why the ranking is so low. 1.3 overall.

I was close to paying my loan off a few months back. I owed less than 1,000 when I lost my job. I called to let them know I may be a few days late. Waiting on my last check. I was told I physically had to come in and talk to them. And was forced into re financing my loan. After I told them I did not want to. I was told it was either that or they would confiscate my valuables. Now I'm back to owing 2,000 on a 1300 loan. When if they would have waited a few days I possibly could have it paid off by now.

I had a ray of hope when I was told "Your loan is approved." Day 1 I had award letter downloaded on my cell phone and thought they would use their email to pull it and print it; my printer was out of whack and that was one of the reasons I wanted the extra $. Stated they weren't able to do. I went to my apartment office and they printed the letter. Day 2 went back... mind you it's 98-101 degrees in the Dallas, TX area. I'm walking back and forth, I ride public transportation and, I was happy that I now had the award letter, and all other essentials necessary. DUMB as DIRT staff couldn't wrap their heads around the printed letter that had July 20th date but reflected my 2 diff incomes.

World Finance tells the client that INSURANCE IS REQUIRED on the loan which is tacked onto the amount which is UNGODLY and almost doubles and/or triples the loan amount!!! They tell you that it is required, however, the back of the contract shows it is NOT MANDATORY!! When I inquired about it, they said it is mandatory to carry it which is not what the contract says. I had a 3 week medical leave without pay from my employer in which that insurance should've covered the monthly payment so as not to create a hardship. The Ringgold office knew I was on medical leave, but never initiated offering for the so called REQUIRED insurance that they tacked onto my loan to cover that month's payment. Instead they chose to harass me over it knowing that I had no income coming in for 3 weeks. Clients are being required to pay for insurance which does them absolutely no good during a hardship.

First let me start by saying that I've had my car financed with World Finance since June 2013 and I've always either made double payments, paid early, or been on time with my payments. Well with an interest rate of 42% it's made it difficult for me to pay the load off completely. The vehicle financed through them is a 2005 with very high mileage and is falling apart. So about a month ago I purchased a brand new vehicle from a dealership and have lower interest and the same payment. In this month I've been in contact with them and have been trying to sell it to my mother (who I can't lie has been dragging her feet). However it's been 1 MONTH!

I have received calls from employees at the World Finance Company in Savannah with wrong information. My account has been mixed up at least twice with other customers. They took someone else's money and put it on my account and then I was told today that I came in the office and renewed my loan when all I did was make a payment. I am also being told that I need to pay late fees that I already paid and was told that I did not have any more, I get a call today saying that I have three. I will never do business and or recommend this company to anyone. Lastly, the employee was extremely rude to me and was having a shouting match with me over the phone threatening to report to the credit bureau.

Went in to pay my loan, employee, fairly new, extremely rude. They call your house even if your grace period is not up, and I even phoned them after the 10th to let them know I'd have it paid by the 20th, the end of our grace period. Last month I paid with cash, the employee was to give me 2 separate receipts because one was for $2 that I paid on the one late fee, which this is the 1st time we were late. Gave the guy $100 and he gives me one receipt back for $2, not the hundred. I caught it when I got outside, went back in and the guy looked shocked. I do believe he was going to take that bill.

I've dealt with this place for many years but never tried their tax services. I was in office to handle business regarding my loan and the branch manager asked if I wanted to do my taxes and told me I can get a check that day for 1500. Ok... I told her this is too good to be true and she replied "yes you can, you have your w2s." And I did. We start the process didn't take very long at first. But what I am PISSED off about is that no I didn't leave that day with a check for 1500. This lady straight mislead me into doing my taxes with them at a high charge but you are thinking you will get the 1500 with 0 interest rate. But the catch is they send your taxes to the IRS but in order for World Finance to cut the check the IRS have to accept your taxes. That's a bunch of BS. I'm thinking once they send the taxes not actually accepting. So she tells me 15 mins. to see if I owe any back taxes etc. Running game. Lol. Then she will cut me a check.

I received a flyer in the mail from World Finance that had me believing that I could get a loan very easily. I filled out an online app and did not get a response so I went into the office and did an app with one of the employees. She did not tell me that they do a hard credit check until she finished the app. She then asked me how much I wanted to borrow. She told me that they would call me within an hour to let me know if I was approved or denied. I waited 3 days before I finally called them and she told me that I was denied. I feel like this is a very unprofessional company. They gave my brother in law a loan and his credit is messed up and he has not paid them a dime. And he said he doesn't plan to either. I also have read most of the reviews on this company and they suggest that this company is not a good place to get a loan from anyway. I am sort of glad that they turned me down.

If there is ever a class action suit on them I am in. I fell behind on payments and they continuously came to my house and harassed my son who is special needs while I was not at home and had a sheriff served him, not me while I was at work, which I feel is somehow illegal. I accept responsibility for falling behind and recently paid them off through a garnishment, thank the lord, however, the way they came to my home was a HUGE chance they were taking especially since my house was broken into and I did not know who they were immediately.

First I'd like it impressed that I've never been late on my loan payment, so I have no complaints there. My complaint is in their shark tactics for getting the unsuspecting person stuck in revolving debt. Every time I make a payment they do anything they can to talk me into adding to the already existing debt. When I declined this past time and asked for the pay off they said "Well we hope you won't do that" and got snarky. Listen...you guys pay it off, get yourself out of debt and don't use them out of desperation if you don't have to. And please don't fall into any traps. It's easy to do. Keep your receipts, pay on time and don't add any more debt from them.

After the process of the application and I was told that I was approved. Was advised to bring in documents which I complied to. Then I was told that because my bank statement did not have my name on it I was turned down after the reps eye balled all my documents. I don't if they were expecting some different or what. But I glad they turned me down. Now I have saved myself some money, plus I have excellent payment history no missed payments or late payments in over 5 years.

Colonial Finance on Lomas Ave. Ne turn into World Finance at Eubank Ne and at all Credit boroughs still showing as a Colonial Finance messing up my credit. Why can't they change it? Bad business!

I first went to this company as many do, to catch up. I fell behind. I asked if they would take payments each paycheck. "NO" is all I got. I couldn't make the payments they suggested that I renew, so I did. I went to school and lost my job at the same time and yet again was not able to make the full payment yet again they would not work with me. Now I got a legal notice and they are going to garnish my wages. If they would have worked with me they would have received more than my payment was each month by working with me. Now I don't have enough money to pay my basic needs like electric, gas to get to work or even food.

I was introduced about World Financial Group from a good friend of mine. I was able to learn how to cut the expenses, save money and build the financial foundation. I graduated one of the top school in U.S. However the college never taught me how to manage my own finances. That is why middle class continue to struggle. I see some of the complaints from other people however I disagree them. It is always depends on people who explains about the finance concept. Their Financial Literacy Education Campaign is the best ever! No other industries can beat it. If you do not believe it, you should check out their "Saving your Future" book from World System Builder. Please look at the facts first before starting complaints. Lots of people barely have anything to do but write a bad review behind the curtain without knowing the fact.

Tax Year 2015 I got my taxes done at World Finance to pay off a loan that I previously had through them with the 0% interest rate on the $1,500 advancement they offer. This advancement the same day that your return is accepted by IRS. However I have waited 21 days and no return, so I called IRS to find out that they failed to send the form 1095-a which is the health care form. I took the form back to them, they sent it again to a number that their tax professionals told them to send it to. I told them that the IRS told me to send it to the one that was on the letter when I got it. They assured me that their tax professionals knew what they were doing so four weeks later I call the IRS to find out the status. I find out they have never received the forms so in all I am waiting seven weeks now just to start my six to eight weeks all over again.

I went to World Finance Corp. this morning for taxes. I have lost everything the past few years and still in process of getting my ID's. I was dealing with a lady at the front desk when she asked for my ID so I give her my SS card. She then asked for ID. I told her my TDL is expired. This guy at a desk in the back overheard and said "We don't take expired IDs so just go find somewhere else"! Very rudely said! I'm not accusing, but being the only ** person in there, I felt as this was somewhat of a racist act! Instead of being nice and trying to help, that's the treatment I received from this place! This is the office at 6500 North Few in Houston, Tx! I hope this comment gets to them real soon!

We have got a loan for Christmas. Paid it back, it was for collateral. I asked if they wanted my first born. "Seriously." But #1 customer, great standing letters coming 3x a week. Then due to health issues took out a title loan, they took my new title & my chipped key, they sent my title in, got a call from Lisa my insurance agent telling me that my "custom" truck she had a new title saying it was (salvaged) told me to look into it. I went back to "WF". Told her I needed a copy of my title, after a big nasty argument including me saying I'm calling the police & her calling her mngr, I finally get the copy & sure enough it was in the top corner "salvaged", then we had to take chapter 13.

I went to them to buy a RV, I was $4000 short. They wanted me to sign over my $21,000 Toyota Camry 7000 Chevy truck, plus they would hold the title to the camper, plus sign over my old RV. Then they wanted the deed to my farm, plus my wife as a cosigner. I got only one thing to say about this. It's a good thing I didn't want $5000. I would hate to give them my kids & pets too.

I recently had some health issues, I am on disability and am about 4 months behind on my payment. I first took a loan out with them several years ago and paid the loan off and renewed the loan, paid off and took another loan out several times. I was in good standing with them until this point. I am curious as to what will happen to me. I contacted them a while back and told them I couldn't afford to pay the payment could they take half. They said no but they could renew. So now I'm back at over 1,000 to pay off and still not enough to make the full payment. I don't know what to do. JUAN if you are out there please advise me of my options. Thanks.

At first the Lawrenceville location seemed ideal to borrow from. However, my thoughts regarding this soon changed. Even after you let them know when you are coming in to pay they constantly call from different numbers, and act like they did not know you just talked to them that same day! They harass people! Meanwhile, I was late 2 times but ended up paying off the full amount of the loan and they still put a negative comment on my credit. So even if you pay them off and satisfy the loan and close the account they will add negative information about you on your credit (after the account closes paid in full)!!

I swore I never would borrow money there again. However that was before my tooth broke. I had not missed a payment. I went in and they had the loan ready and I got the money. A few days later after my emergency dental work, I began to go over the loan and realized that if they could add any and all insurance to the loan, they did. I borrowed the least amount of dollars and by the time they added interest to this my payment was 97.00 for 10 months. My prior loan was over 800.00 for 10 months, but due to the ungodly pain I took the money and went to the dentist.

I will NEVER use these people again. They have been a total nuisance. I called to let them know that I would be in at the end of the month to pay them off. They obviously didn't want to hear that. The girl at Athens that works with KEVIN **, who is the manager there, proceeded to tell me to come into the office which I was considering until she DEMANDED that I come to her office the next day. I don't think so. I don't have a vehicle and have been sending their money through the mail. They don't have a way to take money other than cash. That should tell you something. I've used other loan companies in Athens GA and none of them have acted like World Finance. I will use Security Finance for all of my loan needs from now own. I only owe world finance $60. Let's see how they handle themselves with that.

I had borrowed 1500 for 22 days. They charged me 300 dollars - what a rip off. I could have went to a payday loan store and got a cheaper rate, 4000 percent, at world finance. Don't borrow money from them. Run from any of their stores, or you will fall into their trap and owe them for the rest of you life, and your kids' life. RUN RUN AWAY.

I had been dealing with World Finance Loans for three years. I recently quit my job for personal reasons. I called to let them know I am not working right now. They even went to my job to see if I was telling the truth. The manager Carla keeps coming to my house every other day. She knocks loud as if she is the police or mob. Her and her workers keep harassing my cellphone, house phone, they even harassing my ten references I put on my application.

How about if you're a customer for 5 years, an employee takes your payments and your money - the entire staff and GM agree, but only to take nothing off.... And then I advised them I have a death in my family, and I get a legal notice the same week.... poor, poor customer service.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. If I could I would stand in front of their door and beg people not to do business with them. Their collections company in Albany, GA took me to court to garnish my check when I was making payments. They suck.

I've gotten a loan with them for the past 3 years but this year has been the worse experience with them. First I applied on the 26th for the loan and usually getting the loan is really quick and easy. However this time they took forever. And I've never been late. But this time it took a week. So now instead of them putting the date I applied they put the date I was approved which makes my pmts late every month. I've begged them to please change the date so my pmts won't be late but they refuse. Then the most resent issue is I made my monthly pmt and because I get off so late I have to use their drop box which I've used the past 3 years with no problem cash in an envelope sealed.

I just checked my credit report to found out this company is listed with delinquent payments. I have never heard of them or used them!

On July 10, 2015 I received a letter from World Finance in Mansfield, LA that I used to have a loan with but had paid off a couple of months ago. Well since I just moved into a new home on June 1st, I can always use extra money to assist me with repairs or purchases so I called Wendy ** yesterday to ask about her offer. She asked me how much would I like and I said the $2,100 sounded great. She stated that she may be able to get me $1,500 to $1,700 and that she would get the paperwork together and call me back. After lunch I still hadn't heard from her so I called and she told me that she had questions about my income, address, dependents, and current bills. She stated that she would run a credit report and get back with me. So far, I still haven't heard anything so I'm wondering why she contacted me in the first place if this wasn't a valid offer.

I was robbed 4 times in a three week period. They would not even look at the police reports nor would they adjust my loan, even though all the collateral was stolen along with a lot of other things. They were very rude, disrespectful, and just plain belligerent with me about it. Told me that I just did not want to pay my account and that I faked the robbery story and the reports. I could not believe they said that. I was extremely upset and I left and I still refuse to pay them on the grounds that I know they are going to file the insurance then make me pay them and they have hired a collection agency to bill me too. I told them there was no way they were getting paid three times. They should not be able to do business that way.

I receive a loan from World Finance. I default on the loan but I paid them off. The item keep reappearing on my credit over and over no matter how many times I write them asking them to remove it. Please help.

Who better to review a company than a former employee? I worked at the World Finance in Moultrie, GA for 2 1/2 years and in that time I saw and was asked to do things I didn't agree with. I was an Assistant Manager so my field of work was collections. Now I understand collections are important but I'll be honest World Finance needs to review their collection policy. I had to visit customers' houses who were only past due 1 payment which didn't make sense to me. If I talked to you (customer) at the house I would be asked by the manager to ask for the payment, ask the customer to call someone to borrow the payment, or just simply to tell them they had to surrender the collateral because the payment should have been taken care of last month. That just isn't right in my book. I mean 1 payment really? But I had no say it was my job.

My daughter-in-law has had a major stroke. She has had part of her skull removed and will be returning in two weeks to be under the knife again. They will not void her loan. She has two small girls that may or may not have their mommy. That 600 could be used for the girls' needs. It breaks my heart to see a Company so uncaring! She took the loan out in Huntington TN. The manager was rude and only wanted the money. Please beware of who you deal with!

4-5 years ago I took out a loan with crazy percentage rates because I have terrible credit. Fast forward to April of 2015. World Finance garnished my paycheck based on old employment information and without any papers or notices being served to me. This sounds illegal to me. I am a client in good standing that's never been late or missed a payment and feel I was tricked into refinancing a loan for a higher interest rate, with 2 extra months to boot. Talk about bad business!!!!! I am the first to admit I screwed up too!!!!!! Never again!!!!!!

World Finance, Watkinsville, Georgia gave my mentally handicapped sister (IQ=71) a predatory loan (high interest, packing of loan, refinancing existing loan into larger one over 40 times, and "suggested" items for her to list as collateral {that she didn't own}). My sister has limitations in communication, social skills, and functional academics. She cannot tell you what 25% of a 100 is and reads on a 3rd grade level. She receives social security disability payments in which I am the representative payee. World Finance is harassing her with phone calls, threats of coming to her "stuff" and letters of legal actions, because she can no longer pay this loan. What are the ramifications of this situation?

I applied for a loan. I have a large loan that a large bank institute had no problem giving me and have 2 other loan companies I have loans at, never missed or had any late payments. World finance seems to think they are above and better than the bank that just recently gave me the loan and refused to loan me money because of 2 small things on my credit in which the bank had no problem with. I even explained the issues on my credit but didn't matter to them. Oh well, I guess they have enough money that they don't want my business. Will not ever recommend them to anyone.

My sister (and our family) suffered a loss of a niece Christmas Eve Morning Dec. 24th, 2014, Niece's husband had no Life Insurance (Funeral Home holding her body over for payment first). So my sister, Jay, made a down payment along with money she raised to go towards the funeral. Jay promised and signed agreement to make big payments for a few more months to get remainder balance paid off. Jay spoke to employee at World Finance in Cookeville TN to let them know ahead of time she was going to be late.

I have a loan out at a local company. I am behind by one month. Do I have to listen to him say "He hates liars”? That "It's people like me that tell him they will be there and then don't that makes him hate his job..." "Gotta have it by 5:00 today..." "Just get somebody to write a post dated check and we will hold it until a certain day..." I told them I would make a payment on the 31st but they wanted me to get somebody to write a check for them to hold until the 31st. Now tell me what the difference is? What are my rights and why do they get away with talking to me that way, calling everyday and showing up at my house? Honestly my rent, light bill and water comes first then I pay them when I can. If they do a re-finance to supposedly help me out, the payment stays the same amount. So how is that helping? They know I am unemployed and I am the only person on this loan. They still harass me by phone and make threats. They show up in my yard and think I can't talk back to them the way they talk to me. I am tired of being bullied and treated like this.

This so started after I got the loan, they would call before it was even time and I paid on time every month then I was in the hospital and then home on bed rest. They called my work and kept calling. I always talk to them. My fiance answered the phone and the gm at Kingsport TN location named Tony called my fiance a piece of ** and "worthless people don't pay bills." Now mind you, everyone of my bills is paid but this one because I haven't had the extra money I ask them to refinance loan and that I didn't want any money just to get them off my back so I could pay. They call 20 times a day and they call my job and family. Now as my kid walks up from bus stop the people show up. What kind of company comes to somebody's house and I said, "How many times am I going to tell you I'm sick and have no money." It's against the law what they do.

My husband (who is on record as being bipolar) took out 3 payday loans with 3 different payday loan offices in Lubbock, TX. He did not keep the payments up. Enter World Finance. The lady there assured him that they would take on all 3 loans & give him an "easy" payoff plan. Now, nearly a year later, this company has gone so far as to contact his aging mother AND his brother after they found out they would get nowhere with me. The ONLY thing World Finance checked out on him was his job & income. They did NOT check his other financial obligations, (child support, housing, utilities, car insurance, car payment, etc), nor did they check any history on him whatsoever. If they had, and they were not taking advantage of the fact, they would have likely refused him being that he has a several year history of bipolarism, manic-depression, self harm & more. I want this company to cease all calls to his family members immediately. They had nothing to do with his actions, nor are they responsible for his debts. I have researched this & I know for a fact we can sue for several different offenses regarding this. Stop it NOW!

I keep getting cards in the mail that invite me to borrow $3000. I am afraid of them due to everyone seems to have a problem with their unprofessional way of doing business. If I am ever late for any reason, they will hound me.

I was on the way to Dairy Queen with my family when I received a phone call from World Finance from an employee name Aston. She started off telling me that I have a payment on the 18th. I was really lost because today's date is the 7th of May. I was asking myself, why I am receiving a call if I already made my payment last month with a check. Then she went on telling me that the check that I paid them with bounced. I went on telling her that I didn't understand because I just gotten a deposit from my job, and I had the money in my account to pay you and she started laughing as I was talking to her. I ask her what was so funny. She ignored me as I was asking her what was funny. I told her that I will call my bank to see exactly what is going on and she said very rudely, "Tell me what is going on!!!!?"

First, I had to go to these people because of my low credit score so I knew the interest rate would be higher than a loan if I had good credit. Secondly, I knew if I did not have the payment on time they would be calling. Last time I checked, companies don't care who died or if you lost your job. They want their money. I changed jobs and could not make a payment and guess what. They called and I knew they would. I did not get mad. I understood it was their job. I mean give me a break. I struggle like anyone but I know and expect to get calls when I can't pay a bill. I simply told them I would pay 150 for two months until I could pay it.

Many, many phone calls to my cell, home, friends and family. Knocking on my door leaving rude messages. I was behind on my payment due to a car accident I was in and couldn't get in there. Tried many times to communicate with them, they say I haven't. Then I get a letter in the mail from a credit report that they ran my credit history for EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES! I talked to the manager about this and she is denying this when I have the letter in my hands!

Beside the fact that if I'm 1 (ONE) day behind, they start calling & texting & calling my cell phone. Once in the morning and again in the evening. The office is 25 miles away from my house, so sometimes I can't make it there on the payment date. I've asked countless times to lower my payment from $79 to $60 or lower. I was told it can't be done till I renew. When I went in to renew just as I was signing my name, she told me my payment would be $79. I just looked at her like she was nuts. I paid one month with a personal check, the check didn't clear the first time but it did the second and it appeared on my bank statement. They still claimed it bounced. She said she had the name and number of the check clearing house but couldn't find it. She gave me the name to the best of her memory so I could contact them on the internet. My original loan was for $350.00 and when I renewed, they raised it to almost $1000. How can they do that??? It angers me just to go in that office. I go in, pay and leave and try not to talk to anyone.

Today I went to World Finance to make a $67 payment after they came to my home, called my job, called my family, called my cell phone about 1000 times. I owed a payment for October and November. I went in to make October's payment. I was immediately seated in front of a representative. She asked me when I would make November payment and I told her that I didn't know yet. So, she called the manager over to her desk. The manager asked the rep what was the problem. Then, the manager asked me how was my day. I didn't respond to her.

Visits to my home, calls nonstop to my cell phone, neighbor's phones, family members' phone numbers, calls to my place of employment. Not willing to work with me on partial payments, refusal and intolerance of payments made in full because they are not the payment plus past due amount. When I try to make payments, they are not enough even though I have explained to them it is more than I can pay without sacrificing necessities for living. Threats of court and suing, threats of garnishment and seizures of personal "assets".

On 5/14/2013, I took out a loan for 420.00 to pay some small repairs off done to my car. My payments were $60.00 a month. In July, I missed a payment due to my car problems re-occuring and in August, I paid a payment for August and was behind a payment. Phone calls to my home and job followed soon afterwards and I had no problem with these calls except for the fact that I had received a phone call from a manager who had flat out been rude to me asking me what my problem is and why I had not paid my payment and that I should have been responsible enough to call, and what is going on in my life and was I thinking in not calling them. Again more calls to my job and visits to my home.

My dad died recently and my brother continued living in his (now it's mine) house with the agreement that he would pay the utilities. My brother had multiple strokes and has remained unresponsive for several weeks. Among his bills was a loan from World Finance, and a woman had even visited the house and left a note. Assuming this was legitimate and urgent, I called them to pay off the loan. Because of privacy policies, they couldn't tell me anything. I understand policies, but I explained the entire situation to her, upset that she was forcing me to explain his medical situation. Didn't matter. They refused to tell me anything. I just want to pay it off, the entire amount, right this minute. Nope, it is against their policy, nothing she can do. I hung up on her. The previous day I had called (the note said to call immediately), I left a message, but they never returned my call. I have paid off the electric, cable TV, water, trash, everyone else, but World Finance can’t even tell me how much he owes, or they would have been paid off too. Yes, I understand privacy, but with no exceptions?

I am filing bankruptcy and Eric ** is my attorney. He advised me to contact my creditors and tell them I am filing bankruptcy. I told them verbally and sent a cease and desist letter telling I am filing bankruptcy and to contact my attorney if they have any questions. They continue to harass me with threatening voicemail messages and letters. This is causing me a lot of stress. I had to have double surgery with my appendix and gall bladder removed out at the same time and have only been back to work about three weeks. I was informed that if you send a cease and desist letter for lender to not contact you anymore but to contact your attorney, the lender is to honor this request. World Finance completely ignores my request.

First, these people charge an extortionate rate of interest. One day after the payment is due, they are on the phone and they call every day until the payment is made. They have called my friends and family, they have called me at work after I have asked them not to, and they even came to my home and left a note on the door about the debt. One time, they visited me at work and the lady said I need to own up to my responsibilities and pay my debts.
