I needed some extra cash and since I was waiting for my disability benefits to start due to COPD, I decided to give TitleMax a try. When I visited the location, the customer service was fair and I managed to get a title loan without dealing with any of it online. It was all completed during my visit. The annual percentage rate was a bit high but it was a choice I made since going through a bank wasn't a feasible option because of my credit situation.

Dec 2nd I woke up knowing I wasn't going to get paid at work, knowing it has been a struggle for the company to pay us. So I drove around trying to figure out what I was going to do, I owed my rent the next day!!! I saw Title Max and drive up with all kinds of fears. I was worried about owing a crazy high amount and hidden fees and not understanding exactly what to do. But a wonderful woman named Kim greeted me at the door and immediately started to help me. I had so many questions and she answered them all. She showed me how everything works and what I'd owe. For my situation, owing a few hundred was reasonable on top of my loan.

Charge way too much for my taste. I mean I'm coming to you because I don't have any money, well do you really think that in 1 month my situation is going to change enough to pay back what I needed and the ridiculous interest 217%. I think it was for a 1900 loan. So for a period of 2 months or more, which it what it takes for most people that are coming to you to recoop and get back on track would have cost me $720 + the $1900 I borrowed for a grand total of $2120 for a 60 day loan. Talking about loan sharks I would be better off taking my chance with the mob and their interest rates. I wasn't coming to you guys because I had a lot of money coming to me in the next couple of months and thought "hey I need to dump some of that extra cash I'm a getting so let me go give it to Title Max."

- I feel as though this is nothing more than Legal Robbery, the amount of interest that is charged alone is insane. People cone to them for help and they give you a quarter of what your item is worth then charge you triple to get it back should be illegal. I don't know how they sleep at night doing that to be just looking for a little help. Worst mistake of my life and in a recovering addict there should be a law against how they do that to people. I'd like to see how many people property they take per year Not to mention they take fee out so you don't end up even getting the quarter you were approved for but bet your hind parts you're paying back the full amount you were approved for and then some. So you're paying money back you didn't even get. Wow robbery at it finest. Don't know what's worse. A lawyer, car salesman, government or these people.

He worked with me for the entire four hours. It took to get my old file cleared and straightened out and in the end delivered my $3000. The man is great.

They are full of s*** at the West Florissant and McLean store. My car was repossessed December the 1st early in the morning. I did not get a call or letter. Damon did not reach out. I can't even go on my account. It says I don't have an active account. Shame the devil. What pitiful store. How could you be a supervisor or manager and don't even reach out to customers. Cold as it is outside to do somebody like that cold-hearted cold-blooded people work and live in Missouri for real. That's a damn shame. You couldn't reach out to a customer but to make them suffer to get their car taken without letting them know anything.

Elsa did a great job with helping me take locate if an urgent family matter for my mother… if it wasn’t for her assistance I would be REALLY stressing still for traveling back and forth out of state to make sure that my mother’s massive stroke and getting her rehabilitation and a caregiver until I can return to get her home set up for new accommodations, I myself would probably be in the hospital for High Blood Pressure or similar… I believe in staying optimistic as possible and Elsa has reminded me that there are still good people around.

First of all customer service at 211 W. Camp Wisdom the lady that helped us her words where well pay it or leave it like that... not concern about the main issue we had. Second the app TitleMax told us to used the worst thing ever. First payment we received a call saying we didn't sign something and we got overcharged. We received the call a month later than when it happened. Second time with the app it changed us from stores and supposedly we refinance with the other store like we have the credit to go to that we explain everything and still they didn't give a thing of what we said. Our loan went from 2,500 to 3,000 saying we did it thru the app when we only made a payment and guess when we found out about that a month later when we where doing our monthly payment. TITLE MAX you did us wrong. For that I give you nothing. You need to check that app before more people go thru this issue. Thanks.

It was very fast after I did the online photos of my vehicle and made an appointment to go down to the office immediately. Even the money was in my account before I left the store. The girl who helped me was very efficient and very nice. The interest rate on the loans is super high though, just be aware of that. But in a pinch, and if you can make your payment it is a very good resource to have.

I've used TitleMax before they were bought out. That was a decent experience. However, I have some concerns. My main issue is with their incredibly high-interest rates. The structure metaphorically feeds off individuals during tough times. For instance, on taking out a loan, I was confronted with a 400% interest rate. To me, this seems exploitative. How is paying $11,000 on a borrowed $2,400 good business? While TitleMax allows early repayment without penalty, the interest continues to accumulate daily. On a more positive note, the customer service at the branch I visited was top-notch. They recognized me by name, and the staff was respectful and professional. They process everything in real-time, in person, which I appreciated.

They only work how many hours? Why should I be responsible for a missed payment if I cannot reach them? Using a lie to repose when I bet their main agenda is what they might get inside. Hell the agenda is a heartless loan and prey upon the desperate and will not admit liability or their absence when everything could be resolved if they functioned properly! Everyone accepts money electronically but not you louses! I will spend more money cursing all of you (just an employee... don't give me that you know) and I am equally justified in cursing you lot however I do not have a fine print.
