TitleMax helped me out very much. They were considerate. They were determined to help me get the loan that I needed, offered me different options, and broke down the payment arrangement. I had to bring my paycheck stub, my ID, my title, and my vehicle. I would recommend others to go to TitleMax if they need a title loan.

I didn't get what I thought I would or anywhere close to what they quoted on the free information. But other than that, it was an easy process. My rep was professional and made sure I understood the process. He asked for help when he didn't understand something about it and he was helpful. On July 19th 2021 I needed some money to pay for auto repairs on my truck. I went into Title Max, located in Statesboro GA, to Pawn my title to my truck. Mind you the workers were very friendly and eager to help me out. They somewhat explained the agreement. The loan was for the amount of $2,769.94. The worker advised me after making all my payments, with interest included, that it would be a total of $3,212.85. That amount is also stated in my agreement. I have been making the minimum payments a month. Since 7/19 2021 to today's date, 9/24/2022, I have paid over $3,628.87. Well over the so called "final amount" to be paid.
I called the TitleMax store in my city and talked to a rep. She basically told me that when I made the minimum payment that I was restarting my agreement and getting charged another interest fee. The rep also told me that the minimum payment goes to the interest only not the principal and that I would have to pay more than the minimum due for it to go towards the principal. Never in my life have I ever heard such a thing. I am now stuck paying of $6,000 for a $2769.94 loan. TitleMax is a SCAM and taking advantage of people at a time in need. Also if I had known my APR was 194.54% I would have not taken the loan. The rep at the time of signing failed to mention my APR and hurried to turn the page with the APR on it. I will be looking into getting a lawyer to see if I have a case to go after TitleMax. TitleMax should be shut down or looked into how they practice...

The process was very straightforward and pretty quick. They talked me through all the different per se traps. Overall, I was pretty pleased with it. There were a few people there before me so I waited for about 15 minutes. Then the actual loan process took about 30 minutes after they approved everything. I qualified for substantially more than what I originally wanted. But I didn't take out the entire amount. If you're in a bind and you need help, TitleMax is there for you.

When I went through the door, I got a warm welcome and that was why I decided to go with TitleMax. The young lady that I worked with and my whole application process was lovely. I absolutely enjoyed it. The customer service was great. The process took about 20 minutes, and it was mainly waiting on the approval if it took that long. The girl that was helping us must have been new to the office. But she answered every one of our questions without any problems whatsoever, and she was very patient and kind. The other young lady that was in the office wasn't very nice to the girl that was helping us. It seemed like every time the girl was trying to help us and was answering our questions, the other girl was constantly contradicting her. But the girl that was helping us did really well. She knew what she was talking about. It was just the other girl that was in the office that was kind of annoying. The whole process went well. We were in there for about 20 minutes.

It was one of the easiest experiences I've had. Russell was as helpful as could be and did his very best to help us through the process. He could not be any more accommodating. He was Johnny-on-the-spot. Even with having phone calls coming in, and this, that and the other, he took care of us. He made it very easy for us for something that we have never had to do before.
We had to get the application for the new tag and take my title, because I had just paid my truck off three months before that. So this was very disheartening. But we had to bring him where I would get my new Arizona tag and that the title was cleared. And we took those two pieces of paper to Russell. With the whole process, it took a couple of hours last Saturday morning, but with him, 15, 20 minutes and we were out of there with the cash deposited into our account. Russell said to us, “The cash will be in your account before you stand up out of those chairs." Our experience was very top-of-the-line. It was good all the way around.

My loan experience with TitleMax was wonderful. It was an easy process, quick, and it took some stress away because I needed the money. I have been getting way too many personal loans lately, and I thought, “Okay, I need to go another route and maybe it will be cheaper for me if I put collateral up.” I thought about a title loan that I had never done before, and my car wasn’t worth a whole lot in the beginning, so I didn’t think it would be too big of a risk. However, I ran into a situation wherein I was yielding, getting ready to get off, and a gentleman hit me from behind and totaled my vehicle. I plan on handling that situation by coming down no later than Saturday, paying my loan off completely, and just getting a personal loan. Titlemax is a hassle-free company if you need some cash fast, and I’d do business with them for the long run.

The rep and I had a nice conversation, and she was very supportive. She answered all my questions, did a good job, and it took less than 30 minutes to get the loan. We did the paperwork, and there was another young lady who walked out and told me she'll get the pictures. Majority of the time, we were waiting on the response if I got approved. My experience was good. It just took a long time because they said something about the mileage on my car. The motor on car my blew, so I got a new one, but it had less mileage than the odometer was reading. My motor has less miles than my old motor that was in there, and you can't change the odometer in the car. The rep had to take pictures of the car five times, and I ended up waiting there for almost two and a half hours. Other than that, it would have been a perfect experience. The rep was really nice. She gave me some water and some snacks for being there waiting and for waiting long.

TitleMax told me I could get up to $10,000, so I went with that. The rep from Dover that I dealt with was cool. She was more polite and much nicer. I had gone to the one in Delaware, in Wilmington, and she was really nasty to me. This is my first experience ever. At one point, I was rethinking if I even wanted to do this. I, in a way, kind of regret going because what I ultimately settled for was trash. It was nothing. It was like pennies. I wouldn't recommend TitleMax to anybody else.

I called the day before and spoke to Mike. He let me know what I needed to bring in, then he met me at TitleMax a bit earlier because I needed to get something done before they opened. He was in the office 15 minutes before they were supposed to open to get me started with it. I was in and out, and my experience was excellent. The reps offered me something to eat, and their facility was clean and healthy. Also, the rep didn’t rush me and answered all the questions I needed to ask. It was on Labor Day weekend, and I was able to get the amount of money I need to put down for a down payment. They helped me get my spot.

I didn’t have a loan on my car. If I have, I didn't see any past issues going on. So, my credit reflects somebody else but not me. I normally would have qualified for just a signature loan but I'm having to deal with others stealing my identity. We tried just doing a signature loan the first time around and I couldn't get approved. But it didn’t have a problem, so I can’t see why TitleMax had given me a title loan. They should give me a signature loan instead of using my title. My car is worth way more than what they gave me for a title loan and their interest rates are horrible. But the rep was nice and the process did not take long at all, which was 30 minutes. TitleMax was there at a time I needed it, so it was a great help. I'd send friends to them, but with caution.

My son and I had some difficulties dealing with not making it to the DMV on time, which messed up getting a title loan, but leave it up to Mrs ** at the Maynardville pike location! My experience with TitleMax was amazing. The employees were very quick, respectful and friendly. They offered me refreshments and they were very courteous. So I enjoyed the experience much more than I thought I would. When you're going somewhere and borrowing money, you get nervous but they made the process so easy that it relaxed me. The money helped out and they were very nice about letting me know how to go about it as far as getting if I needed any more, how easy it was to go online to my account and everything could be processed right from my phone. Their customer service was excellent. If you don't have people that are nice to you and treat you with dignity regardless of the situation, then you won't want to go back.

They helped me to their best ability. I had a nice experience with TitleMax all the way up until the car that I had stopped on me, and it was stolen off the side of the road. When I called and let them know that the car stopped and there wasn't a parking lot, they told me that they weren't able to go get it. But once I got back up there, I figured that they went and got it. But I haven't heard from TitleMax for years.
I recently went for a new car and all of a sudden they keep calling me about that old car. I never knew that they did not receive that car. They keep calling me and asking me to pay the balance. At this point, it's three years later and it's no way I can make a police report now that the car was stolen because I thought TitleMax got it. They stopped calling. But then they got my new number from this new title loan and now they are constantly calling. I'm feeling harassed. I told them that if I had the money to pay them, I wouldn't have even brought another car to them.
The rep looked at my vehicle, turned it on, told me to back it up to get a picture of my tag. She was nice. The process took about an hour and I got the funds that day. It was in my account before I even left their office. I was able to honestly get the things done I needed to do with the money by working with TitleMax.

My experience was very positive when I started working with TitleMax. I absolutely loved the people at TitleMax and the process was super simple. They explained everything to my level, where I could understand everything, and did their best to make it to where I got the most out of it. They did amazing and were very quick and good at what they do. The rep had to find a couple of numbers. There was one in the windshield that was sun damaged. So, we had to search for another one. But we got it all figured out. Working with TitleMax helped me out a lot. That loan that I needed to get helped me and my family finally move into a better situation than where we were at.

TitleMax is a good service and you're able to get what you qualify for. Everything went well and smooth. I was asking for a certain amount, I got a little bit less than I wanted but that's fine. I had something going on so I tried out Titlemax and see what they were gonna say. My experience was excellent and the process took an hour and a half. The rate was good too. Working with this company really helped me out. They are a good company and they're a good worker.
The customer service overall was great. The location was nice and clean. The atmosphere was nice. The young lady took care of me. She was very professional, nice, and very informative. She went through the process pretty smoothly and explained to me everything, step by step, even on the screen. She told me my process and what I have to do. Application was a quick process. I spoke with the manager at the beginning of the week. I asked her how long it would be because my lunch is just an hour. She ensured me that everything will be done within an hour, which it was. And I was able to get back to work. It was appreciated. However, the rates are high. The terms at 30 days is a lot. We should have an extended time to be able to pay the money back. I know you pay your minimum, and you'll get an extra 30 days. The minimum is a lot. Because if we need the money, we need the money at the time. But for a certain amount of money, 30 days is quick to pay, or even with a minimum, that we're already in debt. Once I pay TitleMax back, I probably wouldn't do it again because the price is too high.

TitleMax helped me tremendously. Their loan process was pretty fast and over within 30 minutes or less. I borrowed 1,500 and now I got to pay 300 a month and I wish it was a little bit less. But that's just what comes with getting a loan from them.

I came into a pinch and when I called TitleMax a couple of times, they gave me some details each time. Then, I decided to go in and take out a loan. I was very scared as I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. But customer service rep was excellent. She answered all my questions, addressed my fears, and thoroughly explained everything to me. She helped me log into the app which I had on my phone and told me about the DocuSign. So she went over everything with me so well on the online part. The APR was outrageous so I was blown away by just the one-time rate for the month, but it was a great rate.

When I went to TitleMax, the general manager was the only person there, and she was cool and impressionable. I got a car title loan and the process was very quick. It took 30 minutes and I was in and out. They just needed my license and proof of income. Going with them was something I had to do very spontaneously and it was beneficial to me in that moment. I wish I got approved for more, but that wasn't anything I could control. And I don't know how they gauge the rates, but that was fine with me.

If you need something right away, you got to do what you got to do and working with TitleMax helped me out at a moment of need. In reality, I got to pay back double, but the reps I transacted with were very helpful, intelligent and professional. If my friends were thinking of using them, I would tell them to go ahead.

I was on a lunch break and they helped me out quickly. They turned me around and out the door in 10 minutes, and within five minutes of walking out the store, I already had gotten a call back with a determination. The reps were pretty kind. TitleMax wrote a check for $22, and all I had to pay was $18. The check place didn't want to take extra money out of the check, have extra $4 out of his check. So they asked me, do I have $18? So I had $18, and so I gave them that. Then I took the check back to TitleMax. So they actually owe me $22. Also, I didn't know that they actually charge the $400 in the first month that I supposed to pay every month. They haven't talked to me about that part.

But it's expensive for someone to have to pay it back within 30 days. I didn't know that before. So, I'm glad that they explained everything to me. It will be better if they would give me a minimum of two months to pay it off versus just 30 days. At least 90 will probably be better versus me getting the money, then I turn back around. But they were very helpful, understanding and patient. Customer service is great. They did everything for me. I stayed inside the whole time. They did step by step for me, took all the pictures for me. It just took about 30 minutes. It was a quick and easy process.

The experience with TitleMax was smooth and easy. During the application process, they took all my information down as well the information for the pickup, took pictures of it, submitted it to their review and it was done. It was about a half hour process. The rate was a bit pricey but nothing that I was surprised by. Personally, I was satisfied with TitleMax. It was exactly what I expected. It was a much quicker process than I expected and I had no problems with it. But I would never recommend it to somebody who's just down on their luck and needing the short-term loaner thing because if they're in that position, they're going to end up losing their vehicle, and then they're going to be in a worse position.

The first representative that I dealt with was kind of unprofessional. But the second one was more professional. I went to TitleMax on my lunch break. I have an hour for lunch break. But it was taking a little bit too long, so I had to go back again the next day. They had a little bit of the information, but not everything. So I had to give them a little bit more of the info again. But the whole process didn't take more than an hour.

I called TitleMax and the guy was good on the phone. So, he convinced me to come on in. I did the next day and got the loan. I told the manager when I was leaving that the guy who helped me was awesome. If I needed to do it again, I would do it without hesitation. And I tell people I had a good experience.

The TitleMax rep was so courteous and honest. He explained everything, even though I had a thousand questions, and was very knowledgeable so I knew exactly what I got myself into. He's a keeper. I was in a very unexpected situation and he made the process extremely easy. We were done in about 30 minutes. But I don't like the payback plan. That could have been curbed a little bit. People are there because they need help and the interest rate was a bit much. But I'm grateful for my experience.

I was in a pickle when my 18-wheeler went down and I needed some cash. I went to TitleMax and customer service was amazing with the way they treated me, talked to me, and the way they had time for me. They were very friendly people and they made me feel really good. If someone acknowledges me, gives me respect, treats me and makes me feel good, that goes a long way. Even if it's not a good deal, you can cover it up by the way you treat somebody. If you are rude and you’re still bending me over, then that’s a different situation. I needed 6,500 and I didn't get near what I wanted, but it was fine. It helped out. If I pay out the loan completely, it's gonna be almost $7,000 and I only get 2,500. It's a terrible rate so I'm gonna go ahead and get it out of the way within 90 days. The timeframe for the process was about an hour and a half at most.

The process with TitleMax took probably about 20 minutes just because I had to get bank statements. It wasn’t bad. I wasn't expecting to get the money that quick since usually, big companies are always all over the place. The rate is good. It’s only $100 for the payment.

The rep was friendly. Told us everything we needed to know. TitleMax needed my license, pay stubs, and the title to the car. The rep took pictures of the car, and had to go back and take pictures of the car because they said there was a scratch on the car when there wasn't. And that was it. The only thing that I had a complaint about was when he put in my pay stubs, the computer calculated it incorrectly. The calculator computes your pay stubs at four per month, and that is not the actual accounting way to account for your pay stubs. He said that's how the computer system works. It didn’t affect my loan whatsoever, but it lowered my income $300 per month. So if that had been a difference between getting my loan and not getting my loan, it would have been the rep's error and I could have gone somewhere else, and they would have calculated it correctly and I got a loan.

I did a car loan and the rep that helped me was patient. From beginning to end, the process took about 30 minutes to an hour. They took a lot of pictures. The pictures of the car were necessary but the photograph of the person made me feel a little uncomfortable. It was a one-time thing for me. The only thing that I suggest be improved would be to have transparency on some of the fine print in the disclosure agreement. That aside, the loan was a little bit of a relief for me.

I’ve been dealing with TitleMax for about six years. The application process was pretty easy and quick every time. Customer service was great. They were all polite and they knew what they were doing. They explained the details to me. I only wish I would have saved a lot more money. I took out a $700 title loan and I ended up paying about 6,000 back. I didn't understand that.
Say I borrowed 700 on a title loan. Maybe I’ll just get all the 700 back and have it for six months and TitleMax makes an extra 800 to 1,000 on it, instead of everybody having to pay that extra $5,000. They are still gonna get their money back plus an extra 800 to 1,000. Not everybody is gonna be able to pay the loan back all at one time so all they do is keep adding on and adding on until you pay it off. I’ll never go get a title loan again. That aside, everything was good. I just got a loan for $450 and TitleMax only charged me $173 interest. They take that out of my bank so that's fine.

I'm gonna go in and pay at least more than half of it today so I can try to get it paid off as soon as possible. TitleMax helped me save money in the long run.

I don't think that they're a little fair because the amount that was given was not even near what I would have thought, even with a year of mileage. So it was not carefully reviewed. They made the process a little complicated and non-customer-friendly whenever they were asking for particular pictures to have to be up and then a little lower. But other than that, everything else was okay.
I went to a title loan place right up the street and their interest rate was very high. I then stopped by TitleMax and their interest rate was lower so I chose them. The interest rate was fine for me, taking into consideration the type of loan it is. I did a car loan. Their rep was excellent and he gave me a lot of information. The process took 30 minutes. And because the systems was down, the rep was explaining other stuff about the loan. He was very talkative and kept me occupied while we did everything. He also gave me information that usually I don't get, like how to pay it down quicker and things of that nature.
Taking the pictures was the longest process and I understand why. They wanted to make sure everything is correct and they checked on the condition of the vehicle. The loan processing, on the other hand, didn't take as long as him taking pictures. I just had my ID, proof of identification, and title. The only thing is TitleMax should have a few more workers. There were only two workers there and some people were waiting. That aside, the two workers were multitasking and working together so they got everybody out.

She definitely took her time because the service kept going in and out on the equipment she had. She finally got everything together. Other than that, the process was really quick and easy. The process went right. I told the reps about the loan application and made arrangements. An hour later, I went down and it was already for me. All I had to do was sign the paperwork. I really liked the rep I worked with. It was easier to go through her than the bank where they give you a big hassle. She explained to me the easiest way to make the payments too where I won't pay as much. I only wanted 500, but with the way she explained it to me, I might as well get 800. I just had to show up with the vehicle and show my title and they took pictures of it. They were happy with it because they approved me up to $800. I was really happy with them.
I know where to get some money if I needed an emergency loan. If I needed up to $1,000, I can get up in the morning and call them and by the time lunch rolls around, I'd have it in my pocket. Another thing I like about TitleMax is that with this other loan I have in my daughter-in-law's name, I can do it over the phone. I feel safe doing it that way. I don't ever use my bank card for anything.

The rep I worked with was very polite, nice, and approachable. If I had any questions, she was quick to answer. She was informative. The process was pretty smooth. The interest rates were the only thing that surprised me a little bit. As far as paying the loan back, she said if I pay the recommended amount, it wouldn't pay on the loan. It was just extending the loan, which was already over 100. Other than that, everything was pretty cool.

Customer service was very kind and they were all absolute sweethearts. TitleMax loaned me 3,900 bucks and I only had to pay 500 bucks back on top of that. I could have gotten much more for the car. But the money I got totally got me through with everything that I needed and it made it to where I still have a home. It was a wonderful experience and it happened on the spot. But I am still very perturbed by the fact that I have not gotten my title back yet. I already paid off $4,400 three days after when I could have done it without having a penalty. The day I came in to pay it off, the rep barely sent it off a day before to a Dallas location. She had to wait for it to get back from there. Once it gets back from there, I'll get the title back.
I've been waiting for two weeks now and I'm actually thinking I should be compensated because of that. I talked to a young representative earlier this week and she's in the process of doing things. If I don't hear from her by the beginning of next week, I might call and see what's up with it. Other than that, TitleMax helped me when I was in a pinch. As far as the process was, it’s wonderful.

Getting approved went quickly. Given a Saturday, it took 30 minutes, but it was more the paperwork and the computer. I've traded a vehicle in and got more than it was worth because they signed the contract wrong and put the wrong numbers on it. And they told me because we put this on there to sign. We both signed it. Nothing they can do about it. If it's a signed contract, it's a signed contract. But they honored it and they even told me that. By law, it's legal binding. I can't change it. Other than that, the guy that helped me was awesome. He told me exactly how much my payments would be.

I was at TitleMax an hour and a half the first day and didn’t get nothing done. I had some difficulties because the computers were running slow that day and malfunctioning. The next day, I had to come back, and still, it was a two-hour process, which shouldn't take but 30 minutes. There were simple errors, like a misspelled name and something not written off the title. Two times, we had to start all the way over, but it finally got resolved. The reps were very helpful. They were very apologetic about making the little errors, and the lady even offered to give me a $25 rebate for how long it took. I gotta go there today. I left my ID and I was so frustrated having left it. TitleMax helped me pay the bill I needed to pay on time, and it was a great overall experience.
