You can't pay off early because it is really a fee not interest. They lied to me. I'm suing them. Why would I pay more in fees than the loan. The employee said they have always done it. Contact your state attorney for predator lending.

I've done business with this company for several years and never had a problem until recently. A few months ago, when I asked them for help to meet an emergency situation, they wanted nothing to do with me. Meanwhile, other loan companies have called me regularly to ask if I need a loan. Whatever their problem may be, I will never attempt to deal with them again.

Agent never informed that insurance on the loan was $2500 and considered part of the loan. Was borrowing 5k, they added insurance balance to 5k making loan value 7500 and charged interest on a loan for 7500. Had I known this I would have walked out, plus agent made up false items such as big screen tv as collateral to qualify me for the loan also, so my 5K loan cost me 13k to pay back. This is not a loan company but a criminal organization. Stay clear of these crooks!!!

BEWARE!!!! This company is a big SCAM!!! They sent a check to an address that I haven't lived at over 12 years and it's funny how that got my current address and information. The lady told me to go to the office that is near me and I did get a copy of the check but they can't tell me what bank it was cashed at then they want you to fill out paperwork.

I notified in advance my payment would be delayed for unavoidable circumstances and was still charged a late fee, even after it was notated in my account. There was no apology or true understanding or inquiry about the circumstances of my situation.

I wish I could get people fired from here. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY! They must hire anybody off the street because I should sue. They called my job to collect a payment, that I already had scheduled to be paid. I told them to never call my WORK again, and she brushed me off and added "Okay, so how are you going to make payment." I said, "Please Hold" so I could check my card balances to pick the right one. Remind you this lady took it upon herself to call my job, so the line is recorded, and I have evidence of her treating me this way. She hung up on me and then ILLEGALLY RAN MY CARD! I never permitted her to run my card, so that is jail time.

I took out a $500 loan to build credit and ended up paying 3000.00 to have this acct closed June 2023. I looked into why my credit was being dragged to hell and come to find out these people are reporting my account to the credit bureau as late payment every month. I called corporate and was told to call the local branch just to be told they couldn’t do anything because the account was closed. Ramsey St. location has the nastiest customer service reps ever by the way. I was told to call corporate back; I spoke to a guy named Ed. He said that I’d been missing payments, the account was delinquent although I paid the account off. He stated that they have to report it to the credit agencies that way. I’m pretty sure this is illegal and very common of these people and this company. I can only imagine what other horror stories customers have regarding Regional Finance.

Everyone needs to bypass this company. They will give you a loan, but will not tell you all details and what it entails. Very poor service and what you pay for their loans is ridiculous. You should not have to 14,000.00 for a 6,000. loan. As a customer, you should know the details of these loans. They will avoid your calls and avoid telling you what should be told.

The check I deposited that was given to me from Regional Finance was charged back. At my suprise today when I looked at my account it's a complete disaster. I trusted in a company for a loan and after I deposited the check 3 days later I went from being in a bad situation to a WORSE situation. When I spoke with Nichole at Regional Finance she wasn't concerned. It's not her account the company has made a mess of. I was told to cash the check and now I'm out $480 in overdraft fees because I thought the funds were there and their check was returned. Horrible taste left in my mouth after this experience.

The people are nice and may give you a loan, but do not explain the loan details well. They charge interest rates over 29%. Also, the entire finance charge will automatically be placed as principal and you will be paying double interest (interest on the loan you borrowed and interest on the finance charge for the loan). For example if you receive a $4000 loan, their finance charge will be around $5000!!! for the loan. So instead of the finance charge being taken and paid over the life of the loan and you pay interest on the principal amount, they charge it upfront and your credit report will show that you have a $9000 loan.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Regional Finance Company, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who was in need of a loan, I researched several options and decided to give Regional Finance Company a try. From start to finish, their service was exceptional. The customer service rep. Esmeralda ** was an outstanding individual. What truly sets Regional Finance Company apart, however, from other loan companies is their remarkable customer support. Throughout the entire process, I felt supported and well-informed. Their team was readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had, and they did so in a professional and friendly manner.

If you take a loan with these people and then something happens like say health issues they refuse to work with you, then just take you to court. If somebody is telling you their health has declined and can only pay said amount what makes you think taking them to court is going to get the money. I mean if I no longer able to work, which means NO income which means I can't pay what I was. Should at least work with someone. I mean if I have to pick between paying a loan and paying for my meds/doctor to keep living. Do believe I'll pick life. Can't get anything from someone who has already lost everything.

I talk to this Company for a personal loan to Do some work at my house and pay off my Car. I didn’t know what was up until they told me my loan was approved for $12,000. I was excited about getting that much money so I can pay off a few bills not knowing that they was up to no good. When I got there to sign the papers for the loan this when they indicated that they will pay off my car for me that in turn sound okay for me. All wasn’t right they in up taking over my car and now I owe more money for my car than what the original payoff was it was only $3,871. I am so disappointed in this Company and will not refer no one to them. They take advantage of people in need of help.

I received a check in the mail for $1500 I cashed it, paid down the loan. I borrowed additional funds thus starting my existing balance over. I'm at a 40% interest rate. I did this back in July of 2021. I've paid on time every month for over a year. Yet my balance is still $2500!!! They say loan open date is July 2022. Lies! They are preying on people who are in desperate need. Be aware! Do not be tempted. You will be paying them back Forever!

The company is predatory, they sent me a check during the COVID19. I needed this money to pay my bill while I was going to trucking school. The interest rate was supposed to be 37%. I recently noticed that they refinance the original loan without my permission and are charging me 100% interest rate. Now I took another loan to pay it off but they are asking me to go to the branch in person. I would never recommend anyone to ever take a loan from this fraudulent company!! STAY AWAY!

OK, I'm going to be completely honest. I received a loan from Regional Finance and at the time I needed the money. Well I got back on my feet and had enough to pay off the loan early. The loan was only $1400 and my balance was $2000. I paid $100 first month, $100 second month and $800 the third month. Which left me owing $1000. So last week I paid off the $1000 but here's the thing. You have to go to the branch to pay off your loan. You can't pay it off online. I think they do this because they want to try and talk you into borrowing more money. When I told the receptionist I wanted to pay off my loan. She said, "Oh no. You don't want to do that"! When I asked her why. She said, "because we need you to stay longer".

Be very aware this company is a fraud company. They will send you out these checks or maybe you just down and out and need help at the time...they will give you a loan. Don't tell you anything about they hiding fees and will drain you freaking dry...I have a loan out with these demons now and by the grace of God I will pay them off...and when I do I don't care how bad off I am. I will never in my life deal with this company ever..ever...ever again..so for whoever is reading this message I letting you know now stay far as you can away from this company. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!...STAY BLESSED AND USED ANOTHER COMPANY!!!

So, they sent me a check., I didn't ask for it. $2,400 and at the time, I was like.. Yeah I can pay off that refrigerator I got from Frys. That's fine but, at 12 payments of 24, they reach out to me and ask if I want to extend the loan. I'm like no, it's ok but they tell me "Oh don't worry.. You have such good payment history. No credit check, no worries.. Just take it." I decline but, in early September, I get COVID... Owe. Can't work 1/2 the month. So I call and ask if the offer is still there. Girl says absolutely. I tell her, "Ok maybe we can do it. I'll get back to you." When I call back on Monday, it's like.. They hate me. They don't care if I pay on time. They are like.. "No, you're no one." I have 4 payments left and, after all this runaround, I am done. I won't do business with them again. Sorry I ever did. I mean, don't call me and offer anything if you don't intend to go through. Wasting my time. Don't do business with them. You'll regret it.

They sent a check to someone and using my ss#. I have never borrowed from them in my life. Now the person that received the money is not making payments or is behind. I am getting calls and letters from them wanting the money. I never give them permission to use my name or social security number. This company is a bunch of crooks who steals from any one they can. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I initially took out this loan for a little relief during covid. Have paid every payment on time and like a week early. During this time I have been trying to buy a home and was receiving alerts about the Regional Finance. In January when I got the first alert I called them and they assured me that it does not affect my score in any way. I felt like maybe I was wrong and let it go. Since then I have continued to pay my payment on time and early and it stalled my score because they are reporting my interest increase and not my payment that I am paying. I reached out to corporate and again Not a real answer just denying that it could do anything regarding my score. Don't obtain a loan unless you just really direly need it because this company will have you paying forever and when you have problems or concerns it's no resolution. I was told to PAY THE LOAN OFF AND FIND ANOTHER LOAN COMPANY. BEWARE.

The loan offer came in the mail. We reviewed the terms and deposited the check. Funds came quickly and we received a courtesy call. The rep, Meredith, was helpful and answered our questions. We were able to pay it off within 3 months so the interest rate wasn't bothersome. I feel that some people taking this offer didn't really read the details and somehow believe they can get off the hook for repayment. If someone borrowed your money and then came up with a slurry of excuses not to repay, you'd be mad. Not just say, "Oh that's fine. You don't need to pay."

Inquired about the company and asked for loan details prior to applying. It was not mentioned during that time that BK Chp 7 had to be discharged for 2 years. It was disclosed after the hard pull on my credit report. Rep said I met everything else aside from that. I feel like that is important to know before proceeding with an application that will affect someone's credit report while they are trying to rebuild. Not happy about that!!!

PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! LISA at the Round Rock location lied to me and told me the insurance policy and auto discount plan was complimentary for me using them for a loan. Two weeks later I find out that I am actually being charged for both the insurance and the auto policy and she lied to me. When I called to cancel it they tell me they can't only the supervisor can. I call back and she repeatedly hung the phone up on me and told me she would not be cancelling my insurance. I have called their corporate office and filed a complaint as well. I will never use this company and pray that no one else does.

I cashed the check these guys sent because I was low on cash in my new business and I wanted to build my with a short term loan. I sent them $1400 of the original $2400 loan amount, they agreed to send me an email when the next payment was and I never received it, resulting in them charging me an extra $150 interest. This is loan shark company, Beware.

I received a pre-approved loan offer for $2400, which is the same as what married couples get through COVID-19 stimulus checks and it is therefore very misleading. Even more insulting is the exorbitant rate of over 30%, meaning you are paying over $850 in interest on a 2-year loan some people may have accidentally signed for. This is unethical to say the least.

I was disheartened by the functionality ethical practices of Regional Finance! During these dark dire days of COVID-19 and many of us losing our jobs, altering our livelihoods, juggling our expenses, their company has opted NOT to support eliminating finance charges and fees on loans! I ask why... Yet they advertise on their website a link for covid 19 help, which is not true, the HELP and Support is not REAL!

A few weeks ago, I was notified of a loan taken out under my name and was being asked to pay $1500 within a 48 month period. I never took out a loan before and was confused about how it occurred. The loan organization explained to me that they mail checks to possible customers. Once endorsed with email, phone number, I.D., and signature the check can be cashed and the loan is activated. My signature was forged on this check with fake phone number and email address. The I.D. number used was an old expired I.D. of mine that went missing years ago. I put in a dispute with TransUnion and Equifax, placed a freeze on my credit, filed a police report, and started an investigation with the corporate loan office. Despite all of this, I have not heard back from any of these entities and the loan is still active and affecting my credit score.

I called to request a 30 day extension. Office manager Ann advised me that the only way to get extension was to barrow more money. I'm trying to pay it off. Seems to me they want to keep the leash wrapped around my neck. I'm thinking of taking the money and file bankruptcy on their BOOTIES!!! Do yourself a favor if you see a check in the mail from them in your mail box don't throw it away don't cash it BURN IT on video and send it to them. Please do NOT do business with them..

I had a loan with them and was paying it down. One of the loan specialist Irene in the Greensboro NC office offered to redo my loan and skip the next payment. They dont tell you they start the loan amount over to the original amount you were approved for. I had a balance of 800.00 and it went back to 15000.00 without them telling me. Scam. Will never use them in my life ever. Stay away.

I received a check in a mail regarding a short-term loan. I called to discuss the terms of the loan with the company. They explained all of the terms and directions to a physical office. I have been very pleased with this company.
