I’ve been a member of Events and Adventures for a long time, back in Tampa, Florida. I decided to do it again because I fit the type of person that Events and Adventures is targeting in terms of not being in a relationship and looking for social activities. I like to do activities and be active, but tired of the bar scene or feel like I’m aged out of the bar scene, so looking to do fun activities with like-minded people.

I like that Events and Adventures is about meeting new people. I have attended six events. We had the dog walking at the reservoir. There was a new-member event and I went to rock-and-roll bingo too. There was another one where we met at this restaurant bar pet place and we brought our dogs with us. I’ve made a couple of friends. I’m looking for a significant other, but my one big complaint is almost every time I go to an event, there are just three people my age. But I’ve had some fun activities and everybody is really nice.

I’m new to Vancouver and with Events and Adventures, I could go out and experience the city. The group activities have been mostly fun. I’ve done a couple of different things and snowshoeing was my favorite. We went for a hike in the snow. There are also different kinds of people, and it’s always something new to learn. On my first event, I was a little nervous, but the host was friendly, and she made me feel comfortable. Everyone was really good, warm and nice.

The first time I heard about Events and Adventures was 10 years ago on a radio and I really thought about it back then. But I was in a relationship so I didn’t join because I viewed it as a singles kinda dating club. Then I was single again about 5 months ago and I happened to see a billboard for it as I was going down the road. I remembered all the commercials I’ve heard on the radio and I thought they could be an interesting deal.

I was excited when I went to my first Events and Adventures event and I've attended about a dozen already. My favorite is the New Year’s Eve Party. I have gone to some of the restaurants, have played poker, have gone to a bowling event but didn’t play, did the ugly sweater for Christmas, and attended a dance class. I put their events in a calendar and when I’m free at that moment, then I run there. I first heard about Events and Adventures on the radio and I was interested in everything they were saying about it. Now, I’ve met great people. Most of the events are fun and everything’s been great.

I started with Events and Adventures to meet people and to hopefully find the one. But I never did really meet very many that I clicked very well with. I haven't done anything with them in a while and I wasn't even sure if I was still a member or not, but everything went good. I didn't do everything like a lot of people do but I picked and choose what I did. Those that I attended were fine but I was expecting more people. Some of them were cheesy but for the most part, they gotta cater to everybody so I understand I'm not gonna love every single event. Still, they were great and fun.

I needed to get out the house somewhere and somebody at Applebee’s mentioned Events and Adventures. Before going to my first event, I felt worse than nervous but that changed as soon as I opened my mouth, which wasn't that long. So far, my favorite event is the popcorn throwing theater. I like that place. I also want to join the trips, but since I’m paying for the membership, it costs too much. I like Events and Adventures. I’m just always at home and bored so I like that I am going with people that are on the same boat as me. And at least I don’t feel as alone, even though I’m still alone.

I'm looking for friends and activities and getting myself out of my home and trying not to level up my hermit status. I googled an adventure club and got Events and Adventures. I was interested in the different events, going to new things, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone on activities. I was excited when I arrived at my first event in August and I do one each weekend, so I may have gone to 26 events already. I had fun with axe throwing, I did the open air by plane which is a lot of fun, and I also did the sky diving which is fun. The active ones were my favorite. I'm going to a painting event tonight and we're gonna see how that goes because I can't even paint a doll stick figure. I've already made a lot of friends and I've enjoyed myself.

Someone told me about Events and Adventures a while ago and I thought it is cool. I didn’t follow up immediately though. And when I was able to follow up, I was able to make an appointment and get in, and had a conversation really quickly. Everything kinda went smoothly when I was able to follow up. I went to the Brewery for my first event. It was pretty cool. The events are pretty cool. I haven’t been able to really get to know many people. Everybody’s nice but it’s just kinda touch-and-go. I've been to about seven events. I really like ax throwing and going to the trapeze. I like the paint night.

That Events and Adventures set up a lot of the events and that there might be people that I could meet interested me. But I got overcharged and ripped off. I was very anxious before my first event, which didn’t change throughout the day. And I've stopped going to events. Every time I went, there were new people and I was about the only one in my age group. When I asked about that in the beginning, Events and Adventures lied and said that that doesn’t happen. So every time I go, I was very nervous and self-conscious about having to introduce myself and selling myself to all these new people. It wasn’t a good experience for me. I would not recommend Events and Adventures to anybody else.

I wanted to do something different and see what's available in town and meet somebody else through these events. I joined Events & Adventures in December and was able to go to one trip and about five events. The trip was my favorite. And with the events I like a couple of museum stops and then a dinner was cool. There was a bowling night and then I participated in a trivia night last week to a bar. That was fun.

I've been with Events and Adventures for about a year and a half. The events are fun. It’s great to meet people, and there’s a lot of good events. Bowling’s fun. The big holiday events are fun. The basic meet-ups and the game nights are great too. It’s expensive up front but it's great.

Things are going well for me with Events and Adventures. I have attended a few weekend events with them and thought not everything is well attended, the events are well organized and chaperoned. Since a lot of us that are in the group are professionals, Events and Adventures should make interesting events during the weekends, something like food of the month. I'm a foodie and I wNt to get to try the different restaurants and cuisines within the Houston area.

I have been hearing things about Events and Adventures on the radio since I was like a teenager. I moved back to Seattle and didn't have as many network of friends. So, the idea of having organized events and meeting people and getting out of the house and not having to plan myself made me go with them. My first event was a hike and it was fun. It was also dog-friendly, which was a big thing for me. However, there weren't many people there -- it was six of us. My second event was a Christmas Carol Christmas ships and it was also fun. But, again, there were only three of us at the Christmas ships.

Because everybody is married with kids and I was new to Arizona, my co-worker told me about Events and Adventures to get me out of the house and do stuff outside of work. So, I looked it up and had my interview, and then I signed up. I was little nervous about meeting new people, but was open about what was going on. My first event was a pottery painting thing and then the second one was the scout river tubing. Those were two things I never did before and I was like, “Awesome.” I have attended a lot of different events and my favorite is the axe throwing which was fun. Come in to have fun and don't get discouraged when you see the couples in the group. I’ve had a few people come up to me about that and they were upset.

I had a friend that knew the owner of Events and Adventures, and he thought it’d be a good idea for me to possibly join because I was kinda looking to meet a lot of new people and get some new friends. On my first event, I was nervous and a little uncomfortable because I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know how it would go. But once I got comfortable being there and around some of the people, I wasn’t as nervous.

On my job, Events and Adventures was recommended to me. It was great and one of the things I've enjoyed going to was the pub. But I had been doing other things and wished I hadn't joined. For instance, December was bad. One of the times, I couldn't go 'cause we had a snow thing. It's not their fault though. But I'm gonna try to go into more stuff starting next month and give it a little more chance. One thing though, I've tried online dating and it's not just for me. But Events and Adventure beats these online stuff for sure.

The two events that I enjoy the most are the trapeze one and the sky and rocket one. I've made friends and I have an upcoming event for next Monday, which is the laksa making class. It’s been an enjoyable experience.

I was nervous before arriving at my first event with Events and Adventures. When you are going into a new group of people, it always is like that. But, when I started interacting, I felt great. It was a great bunch of people. In the year, I've been to 40 adventure events. The snowshoeing event and the swing dance we are doing right now are some of my favorites. For February, I've planned for the Valentine’s Day, a beer fest, a dog walk, the ballroom dancing, and night tubing up at Snoqualmie. Overall, everybody is very friendly and you don’t feel left out of anything.

It's going pretty well with Events and Adventures. I checked it out 'cause I got caught up on doing the same stuff all the time. I was gonna do something different. I was nervous about the first event but it changed. I've made friends and I like the barge parties where there were lots of drinking, dancing, eating and swimming in the lake. I'm going to the Valentine's event for sure. I haven't had the chance to do a trip yet but that could be really nice.

When I went in for the interview, they told me there would be more free events than there were, and everything was really downtown and not in the area that I was. They said that there would be events up here and there really wasn’t. I've attended about five events. I liked the comedy clubs, but they were all about an hour and a half away from me. I met a couple of people too, but a lot of people kept to themselves or to the groups that they knew. I stopped going to events because I'm going through financial problems right now, where I'm barely able to pay for my house. I tried canceling, but they were saying I couldn't cancel. My experience was not the best.

Events and Adventures is a singles group, and I joined to try and meet new people. I was disappointed, though. I went to the new incoming members event and it was just a few people, and there wasn’t anyone near my age group. I’ve been to a few different events and the events themselves are good, but what I’m looking for is something that’s not available. The people in the group are kinda cliquey, so it’s hard to introduce yourself to other people. Events and Adventures is trying to rebrand themselves now, but it’s more of an activities club. People have been in the club for three years, and they're not interested in meeting with people.

I'm single and Events and Adventures seemed like a great alternative to online dating and a great way to meet people, go out and do fun stuff. I average at least 10 events a month and I go to pretty much anything athletic. I go to a lot of eating out at fancy restaurants too, and also checking out museums. It's good for stuff that I haven’t tried before to get me out of my comfort zone, and especially all the weekend ones. I go to at least one per weekend, too. I like the game nights ‘cause it basically turns into a house party. I've also made plenty of friends.

The events I've been to have all been really fun. I've made new friends and all of the hosts have been really great.

I felt okay arriving to the first event. I don’t have a lot of social anxiety. I meet new people and fit into groups fairly well. Out of the 40 events I've attended, my favorite was my trip to Mexico. It was nice showing up and having things planned out for you, really, being all-inclusive. To have them doing all the legwork is very nice. We’re just doing random days and I didn't have to plan. I can just show up and do it. We’ve done scavenger hunts, a brewery tour and an indoor beach volleyball. It all blends together after a while. It's a lot of fun with great people. It’s a good way to get out and meet new people.

I recently moved to the Tacoma area for work so my life consisted of just going to work, then coming back into my apartment and not really socializing with other people. I’m a very sociable person so when I heard about Events and Adventures, the events that they offered caught my attention. The events are definitely within things that I would do so I’m very excited. Everything seems to be running smoothly and I’m very interested. I’m having a great time meeting new people and exploring new things.

I joined Events and Adventures so that I could be around a younger crowd and have people to do stuff with. The cost to get in the group is very large. It's not something everybody can afford. One thing I’ve noticed is it’s not a lot of young people. It’s a big, older crowd that’s in it. And there have been a few guys in the group that made sexual comments. I’ve already brought up one instance to Maggie and she said that she spoke to the guy about it. Since then, I haven’t had any issues. I've made a lot of friends, and a lot of them are women.

I have been a member of Events and Adventures since last May and I have not gotten to go to as many things as I would like to. Some of the things seemed expensive. We have gone to Minneapolis and did a craft and brew. Like that event, you had to put $20 down to save your table spot, and then when you got there, it ended up being like a $100-night. They are very extravagant. There should be more affordable travel vacation.

I've always wanted to do certain things like skydiving and water rafting. So, when the Events and Adventures guys said, “We do a lot of events, a lot of adventures,” that’s what got me. However, I feel like there are not a lot of outdoor adventures. There are more things doing downtown. Most of the events, they have to do with going to bars or to clubs. I used to do that a lot but I’m not trying to do bars. What I signed up for was to do outdoor stuff, maybe they could do more stuff like that. I feel like people got into Events and Adventures because of dating. I wasn’t really so much thinking of dating. For me, I couldn’t find people to do certain things I wanna do, so I felt E&A would be like a group of extreme people that wanna do extreme types of things. I did the water rafting, which was amazing. And then, I also did skydiving. The skydiving was pretty cool. Because I knew, by myself, I wouldn’t be able to do it, but as a group, I feel like, all right. We’ll do another two.

It's been a wonderful experience with Events and Adventures. I had a new schedule at work and wasn't working the same as most of my friends, so I was sitting at home alone most nights. So, I heard it on the radio and gave it a shot. My first event was at a bar. There was supposed to be live music. They ended up having to change the last minute because the band never showed up. So, we all hung out for a little bit and then went to another bar. There was a breakfast event last month that I went to and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it. I made a lot of friends since going to Events and Adventures. They've been more beneficial than some of my long term friendship. Having surgery, I've had more people checking up on me from Events and Adventures than I have had from before. The membership fees on all the events class are pricey though. And I would like to see more free events. Otherwise, I love it overall.

I had some friends tell me to check out Events and Adventures and so far, I’m very happy with them. My experience has been very good. I told Jennifer this morning that the latest event that I was at which was a hike up to St. Mary’s Glacier was kinda interesting. We tried to sled down there. It was really fun. The really good thing is I’m a consultant, and so I'm kinda high-tech in automation. I met two prospective clients, one of which I’ve already met with, and one I’ll meet on Tuesday. So, when you could kinda mix the social side of it, which is what I joined for, the professional side of it, and I can meet some potential clients that are consultants, that’s a huge win for me.

I just got out of a relationship and wanted to branch out and meet new people. I signed up with Events and Adventures and it's been good so far. I definitely connect with all the people. Phone application could be improved though.

I was looking for a new way to meet people as well as activities I wouldn't normally have thought of. I heard about Events and Adventures through a radio ad and joining just made sense at the time. I joined just after Thanksgiving and I've gone to about seven events so far. My favorite is the volleyball in the racket ball court. They have parkour with Nerf gun thing and some of the dinners looked interesting. I'm enjoying it so far. Also, yesterday was the first time I was hanging with someone outside of the group and it was just fun.

On the average, I go to about three events a week. I like hanging out with the people. I've been a member since August, and they let me become a host a little early because I attend so many events, and I already know a ton of people here in the Bay Area because of that. So a lot of people trust me in meeting up with the new members.

Events and Adventures takes a trip to Japan, and one of the things they do is they ride the Super Mario carts in Tokyo. I've always wanted to do that, so that was what hooked me. Before I arrived to my first event I was very excited. I've had a lot fun at the events that I have attended. They have a murder mystery night, which I liked. That was a lot of fun. They had a charity poker night, too, and I won big for the charity, so that was exciting to win and be able to do some good with it. I've also participated in two of the new member meetings, as well as have done volleyball out at one of the areas out in Lakewood.

I was interested in the ability to meet other singles in my area and the variety of activities that would be available. I was out-of-state for five years doing school in Utah, and I wanted to reacquaint myself with the area and hopefully make some friends and meet some cool people. I’m pretty much an introvert myself, but I just went for it. I went to Taco Tuesday. We had like a Star Wars lightsaber lessons class, which was pretty fun. We also did something at the Phoenix Art Museum that I went to that I enjoyed. I enjoyed everything that I went to. I was doing about one event a week at least for my first couple of months, and then it kinda like petered out because I started to get busy in my day-to-day life. Also, they didn’t call me for what I wanted to do, and that slight extra cost was becoming a little more than I wanted to put the extra penny to.

I enjoy some of the events like the white water rafting trips. Some of it is kind of simplistic though. It’s not really stuff I would choose to do or would interest me. Some of it is also a little bit costly considering you’re paying a membership. Nonetheless, I’ve had more dates and I’ve met actual people.

I’ve been pretty happy with the people I’ve met and all the new activities I’ve been exposed to around the Twin Cities area. We’ve done some swing dancing and salsa dancing events. I’m a dancer so I like those a lot. The Halloween party was also always a good time, and the Archery Tag was really fun. I’ve definitely made some new friends, a lot of really fun people that I’m still friends with.

I've been pretty busy with my most recent subscription, but a few years ago, I had a subscription that I was more active in. During that time, I probably went to four activities a month. I did some indoor putt-putt golf, board game nights and karaoke.

I heard about Events and Adventures through a family member. I usually go to a few events a week, and I have made some friends. They have a nice variety of events and I like the outdoor activities like volleyball. They have recurring activities in the summer, but not too much in the winter. It is, however, expensive.

I felt anxious before my first event. I sought out the host and I recognized the two people that were in the office when I signed up a few days earlier. I've attended 10 events. I enjoyed the New Year’s party. My best event was the comedy club night, which was my first event. It was pretty cool. We also did a dinner and a meet and greet type thing. I also did a really cool wine night where you pay for your bottle and like your cheese board type thing where they bring you like this porchetta board. That was pretty cool. We’ve done this still Instagram place where you take pictures in front of this 3D art.

I'm new to the area and I wanted to meet new people. So far, everything has been good with Events and Adventures. I'm always looking forward to meet new people so I felt good about my first event. I've done three trips and countless events, about 10 a month, and my experience in out-of-state trips has been really good. My favorite is the anniversary trip, the Mexico one. That was fun. I'm definitely doing the anniversary trip again. I've also made countless friends and we're doing stuff outside of the group all the time.

Events and Adventures is a safe place to go out as a single person. Thus far, I've liked the horseback riding event I went to and the Brew at the Zoo. I have two more events this week. One is a happy hour and the other is a band type trip. However, there was such a high fee to get into the club as I was signing up and I was told that the majority of the events would be free save for one or two events that I have to pay for a month. But then, it's almost every event that I have to pay again just to get into. Plus, I'm paying for my food on top of that. That was something I felt was false advertising and it has gotten worse.

Events and Adventures is different, unique and out of the box. I've been with them since May and I've had no problems with them. In terms of their events, I've been to just about a bit of everything and for trips, I've done a couple of local ones, no international yet.

Things are not working out very well at all with Events and Adventures. I wish I could quit. At one of my first events, my son called me and was like, “Hey, you know my mom’s a member of that group too, right?” And I didn't know that. It turned out that she hadn't been a recent member and had recently terminated. But still, I’m hanging around with a bunch of people that know and adore my ex-wife who had been complaining about me for the last six months in this group. So I was competing with a reputation. A lot of times when I go to an event, I get approached and people have made it very clear that they're her friends and that they're not gonna be mine. That’s my number one issue. It would've been nice to have known that my former spouse was a member right before I went and joined.

So far, being with Events and Adventures has been great. I went to a Halloween party once and it was a lot of fun. I've been on a train ride as well. I've had a nice time getting out of the house and meeting new and different people. Events and Adventures has so many different things and there's something for everyone. Still, they should have more events that are less focused on drinking. I'm not a drinker and I try and pick events that are less focused around alcohol.

My boyfriend and I met through Events and Adventures, on my first event, in fact. I went to Glass Cactus and we got together almost right away. Three events later, we were dating. We haven’t used them much lately but don’t wanna cancel our membership because we appreciate the opportunity to go to events. We would stay with Events and Adventures for as long as we’re able.

I'm socially lazy and I was interested in an excuse to get out, make friends and do things. I joined Events and Adventures and my first event was a poker thing. I don’t play poker but I went to see what it was about. So far, I've done two events and the people have been nice, but the availability of the things I wanna do has not been on a good timeframe for me. They also do a lot of things on Sunday and I usually try to go to church on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoons are available though. I have to work more than I realized I did and a lot of things are in the evening time and across town so I think that I really wanna go home. Maybe I’m just too lazy.

With Events and Adventures, you get to meet a variety of people and go to cool events, as well as facilities and venues that you don't think are in the area. I needed to get out and my friends told me about them. Before arriving at my first event, I was feeling interest and nervousness. It changed after I arrived and people were a little receptive and warming. I've been to close to 30 events and my favorite has been the mingle. It's where a bunch of people meet at a restaurant or a bar and socialize. Another event that I've been to recently is the Halloween party. I've also made quite a few new friends.

I'm interested in getting out, doing stuff with other singles, and just having a good time. I signed up with Events and Adventures and I've attended quite a few events since then. Some of the events I've been to include the sand volleyball, Parade of Lights and at least one game night. I've found a few friends and we've tried to reach out through chat as best as we can.

Events and Adventures was on my Facebook page and I clicked on it. I ended registering for it because I thought it was a Facebook kinda thing. Then I got a phone call about it the next day. I was a little nervous and more anxious before the first event. There were more old people there during the first week and I thought that it was not cool. But then it got different.

I’m fairly new to Dallas and I wanted to experience what there is to experience through Events & Adventures. I know the trips was one of the big things too. I like to travel, so having people to travel with was a plus. During my first event, I was more excited than nervous. I was a newbie so I wasn’t too interactive. But I like new experiences and meeting new people, so it was good excitement. My favorite so far is the whirlyball. It’s like basketball, lacrosse and bumper cars. It was pretty fun. The beer bike we did around downtown was a lot of fun too. I've met a lot of good people. And then I am planning the Antarctica trip in 2021. Joining the group is a great way to meet people and do things in the state, in the city, and then even in the whole world.

I'm a newer member of Events and Adventures and so far, I've gone on weekend-long trips. I've done a beer bike thing in Deep Ellum which was fun. I've done a Halloween event as well though that was a slower event and there weren't many people that showed up because they did a separate event. I ended up joining them in the separate bar crawl Halloween event and I enjoyed that one a lot. Everyone dressed up and went from bar to bar, enjoying everyone's costumes. Tomorrow, I have an upcoming event at a comedy club. Thus far, I've made a lot of new friends. Everyone is extremely friendly. It's a big mixture of people so no one judges anyone for what they are. I feel very comfortable around everyone.

I got interested with Events & Adventures because it wasn't a dating club, and things has been going great. I've gotten my money's worth. I wish I could end my gym membership. But this, no, I have no thought of getting out of it. My favorite events so far has been the barge ride on the lake, and when we went near Galveston for a weekend trip near the beach. I took short trips. They rented a house and it was really great. It turned out better than I thought it would. I've made friends.

My dental hygienist said that she met and saw some interesting people through Events and Adventures. And since I was new to the area, I thought I should give it a try and see how it goes. I think the membership here is a bit on the older side and most of them are divorced and have kids, and that’s not really my demographics. So, I didn’t really realize that that’s what it was. But as far as the events themselves, the ones that I choose to go to has always been reasonable. They’ve been fun as far as the expense is concerned and I like the idea that I don’t have to plan stuff and that I could just show up.

I joined Events and Adventures to get out of the house. The first event I went to was when we went to a class to learn how to dance salsa. Also, I've been to a poker night, a bingo night, and a comedy show and I went to a restaurant with them one time. When I go is when it's less intimate and I don’t necessarily interact with people. I tend to go when there’s an activity because I get real nervous when I'm around people I don’t know and it makes me less nervous if I feel like the attention isn’t on me.

I don’t have much opportunity to meet new people and Events and Adventures seemed like a viable way to do that. It has been going fairly well, but I’m just finding that I’d rather spend more time alone sometimes. A lot of it seems to be stuff that I could’ve done if I wasn’t a loner, like going to bars and stuff like that. I’m not a big drinker and not a big party guy. So I’m not terribly interested in all the events going to bars and drinking. I went to the Book Barge at the July 4th. It’s not a comfortable place for me. Bowling alley sounds great. I prefer more casual stuff, not a bar social-casual. I’ve been going and doing an activity is more of what I’m into rather than trying to socialize without some other intervening activity.

Right after I joined Events and Adventures, I went to the aquarium in Dallas. Since then, I've been to three events which included one trip to Cancun and going to a studio. The trips have been pretty good. When we were in Cancun, we went to see the ruins and it was fun.

I got divorced and I was looking to meet people and make friends. I signed up with Events and Adventures and I've been to a dozen different events so far. I've done ax throwing, pottery and a couple of social things. I've gone on two trips too. However, the one I went to in New York seemed a little unorganized. The accommodations were but the trip could have been handled better. There were a lot of people to try to stay and walk together. Also, it was weird that tips weren't included in a dinner that was supposed to be covered. I understand drinks, but to tip on a meal that I don't even know much of it was silly. That should be part of what Events and Adventures pay for.

Events and Adventures is wonderful. My daughter had known someone who in the past had been a member and she had mentioned it to me. I’m happy with my experience. I’ve been to five events, and the latest event was a camp out. It's my favorite. I’m going to Renaissance Festival next Saturday. too. I’ve made some nice acquaintances through Events and Adventures because I have been there long.

I haven’t really done anything in the last 10 years except raise my kids. So, I joined Events and Adventures as kind of way to get out and find out who I am. On my first event, I was a little bit nervous and there was an issue. The host quit that day, so I tried to call and talk to her, and she hung up on me. But I called and talked to the guy who was in charge of everything, and he made it 100% better. So, it was amazing. I've been to five events so far and my experience has been pretty good. I’ve gone on a hike and I’ve done a couple of bar things. I also did a comedy event. At this point, I’m still trying everything out. But I met somebody on a hike, so I’m leaning towards that one as my favorite, though I don’t like hiking. But I have a couple events planned and I’m trying to figure out which trip I wanna do because I can only really do one.

I didn't have a lot of friends to see and having different activities planned that I could go and do interested me. When I went to one of the new member things, I felt welcomed. The person who had signed me up had been there and he helped to introduce me to some people. I struggle with social anxiety but it has gotten easier to go to events because I'm starting to know people there. I've been talking to some people and while meeting significant others is not my number one priority, it has happened.

I just moved recently to the area up here, and I'm just tired of sitting around, staring at walls. I wanted something to do and to meet new people. I went with Events and Adventures and found after my first event that it's a really good group of people. I work weird schedules so I don't get to participate in a lot of the events. I go to those on weekends because they do those earlier in the day. The ones I enjoy involve just sitting down and hanging out in a restaurant or a bar. The participants and I just walk and have a good time. I've also done a blacksmithing class through them. So far, I've made a lot of new friends.

When I lived in Arizona, I would hear advertisements about Events and Adventures on the radio, and I always thought it sounded like a good opportunity. When I moved back to Colorado, I was looking to reconnect with people or meet new ones, and so I joined them. I was excited going to my first event and I had a lot of fun then. I made a lot of good friends through Events and Adventures and I’ve enjoyed them.

I’ve been through a lot. My boyfriend passed away not too long ago and I was just wanting to get out and kind of do something out of the house. I’m new to Events and Adventures. It’s a great place to make some friends. But my first event with them may have been the wrong event. The other ones I’ve been were great though. Also, I was a little upset after I signed up and I read their reviews. I probably should have done before I went, but I didn't. Going in there thinking you are gonna find your match is kind of disappointing. I think that’s where everybody’s issues come from. They're upset about the club because they were expecting something different. I wish I had known the program was more to just make friends.

Since joining Events and Adventures in August, I’ve done comedy clubs, musical shows, and axe throwing. My most recent event was the crime tour bus and it was a lot of fun. It has been a pretty wide variety. I’m going to pub crawl later this week, and then I have a singles’ Halloween party, and then I’m doing a cooking class as well. I’m friendly with a lot of people. So that’s been very nice.

Everyone has been really great, and all the coordinators were super-awesome. However, I wouldn't renew my membership. It’s just too expensive and I don't know if it’s really worth the money. It's 125 a month. If they could knock it down to 50 bucks a month because half of the events, you pay. For example Dallas Stars, the hockey game, you pay $40, or like the dinner, if you pay for your own dinner, so I don't really understand why 120? And it’s a contract, so you can’t really back out of it. I would suggest lowering the membership fees. But everyone in the Dallas Office has been really nice and great. Sydney is amazing. They do a good job. They're trying their best, and everyone seems to have fun. Members are awesome as well. But would I recommend it to friends? Probably not. There’s a thing called better off bowling. So, even if you suck at bowling, I’d probably go bowling.

I liked Events and Adventures' guarantee that I wouldn’t do the same things I would normally do on my own. I've gone to 15 events and trips and I really enjoyed their camping trip during Labor Day. Also, I went skip shooting, roller skating, karaoke and did the corn maze. Now I'm going to attend the Halloween party. I’ve made friends. Go to the events that you wouldn’t normally go to.

I liked that Events and Adventures was a group for single people. And for me, being single, I had done other meetup groups and stuff like that, but usually, they’re event-focused. It was nice to have an event group that kind had a broad range of activities and it was specifically geared towards single people so it took that mystery out of trying to guess whether someone was in a relationship or not.

I had a family member who joining Events and Adventures at another state. It was an alternative to meeting people. The first event I attended was at a bar downtown. It was weird. I was nervous but it turned around. It was pretty cool and I met some people. We connected and really had a good time. I've done about six events so far. They were all a little different which I really liked. It was not the same thing over and over again. At this time, I recognize people when I go to events but we don’t necessarily talk outside of the event. My personal life is out of control at the moment but I keep an eye on the calendar. I try and look for times that I can go to an event.

I was looking on Google for a group that I can join for social issues, and came across Events and Adventures. They talked about there would be a lot of single people that you can meet. It’s an easy way, and there’s no pressure like online dating. Then I asked them about age group, and who are the people who are part of this club. They told me that they have people in our age group. And that’s when you know that when you get to some of these events, you’re going to meet people who have the same common interests that you have.

I was a little nervous before going to my first event with Events and Adventures. It was coffee at game night, and there were probably 15 people there. So it was groups of people playing different games. The conversations kinda flowed pretty easy and I ended up sitting with the host, so he made me feel more comfortable. Since I started, I usually do anywhere between one and six events a month. I’ve made a couple of friends. But I am a single mom, so I usually only do events every other week. I’ve done the comedy, the dancing, the stargazing, roller-skating, the mafia dinner, and bowling. But I like the board game events. I'm recommending Events and Adventures.

I moved in a new area and I didn't know anybody and I'm not very forward to meet new people. I just wanna make new friends easily. I joined Events and Adventures, and on my very first event with them, I felt nervous. But after that, I feel more confident and I meet people. The environment's nice and the organization is good. Sometimes, it can be a little bit expensive.

I saw an ad for Events and Adventures on the internet and it looked pretty cool so I applied for it. They seemed all nice and good. I have their three-year plan. Right now, I've been in the program for almost a year and I can't go to everything every night. I think I'm just gonna suspend my account. If you're a girl, then the females who are the leaders get to know you and you get to know them and do a lot of icebreakers and stuff. But if you're a dude, the guys who are the leaders are more interested in getting chicks. I don’t feel too comfortable about that. We’re all supposed to be meeting.

I was breaking up with my girlfriend and was living in Florida at that time when I heard of Events and Adventures over the radio. I wanted to meet new people, do different things around the city, and find out about fun activities. I have a lifetime membership. I went to seven of their events and especially enjoyed the wallyball in Denver. But I don't have that much time on my hands. I went to three events in Denver and I met a lot of people. I didn't stay in touch with them though. I went to one event then to another and I didn't see the same people that I saw at the last event I went to. You gotta see someone like two or three times before they actually become your friend.

Everything is going fine with Events and Adventures. I liked the fact that I get to see people face to face. It wasn't like switching or going right or left. And I see the people there for who they really are and their personality. I've been with Events and Adventures since the end of May and I've gone to a few events. I felt a little bit of anxiousness at first, but there were also some excitement just seeing how it works and the folks that would be there. After I got there and met the folks that were there and the conversation flowed, I was put at ease.

Events and Adventures was a chance to have more casual outings with people who care to be more authentic, and I thought that was nice. I was a little bit nervous for my first event but I picked something that I knew I was, at least, moderately comfortable about with and it was good. It was definitely the event that all newcomers seemed to come to. So it wasn’t like you are meeting people who are in the club. You are meeting people who are just starting. That even was the country line dancing and karaoke. But the event wasn’t scheduled during the karaoke time and the karaoke started at the end. I don’t know if that was an oversight or if they just let it be and people just continued doing that.

I got interested with Events and Adventures because it’s a way to meet single people in person instead of online. I was a little bit nervous before my first event, but the first one that I went to was designed in a way that it would be smaller. It was the night that they split up the over 40 and the under 40. So, I knew that it wouldn’t be like a huge group. The second event, there were like 100 people, and it was at a bar where there was live music.

When I was new to my area and wanted to meet people, make friends, and travel, I got interested in Events and Adventures. I signed up and thus far, I've done two trips, participated in volleyball and a couple of 4th of July events. I'm also about to go on my third trip which will be to Africa. I've made a lot of new friends so far.

Events and Adventures did a lot of things in the city and making friends also made me interested about the club. I was nervous when I arrived at my first event but at this point, I've been to a handful of events, like five or so. I like outdoor events – things that are different – like concerts. I also like the dart game that we did. But when I did go to events, I felt like no one was really inclusive. I didn't feel welcome.

I was in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I’ve been hearing Events and Adventures on the radio for a long time. I’ve never had any interest in it until here recently, I’ve been divorced, and realizing that a lot of your friends kinda divorce you, too. So, I don’t really have a whole lot of friends and people to hang out with. I thought it was nice to get involved with that or kinda in the same situation, just looking for people to hang out with. I signed right at the time that I had some vacation trips planned. And so, I do have a lot of events that I am signed up for for this month. Hopefully, I can really get out of my comfort zone and start trying some different things. I’ve done volleyball in the past and that’s something that I actually enjoyed, and to be out there with the bunch of other people that are out there just to have fun, and not really be competitive about it, and just out to have a great time.

I was looking for better quality people to have around me and the reputation of Events and Adventures helped make my decision to join. My first event was an adventure from start to finish. It took a sec to find everybody. I came to find out that I had parked at a different end of the parking lot from everyone, which wasn’t too bad of a thing. We all got together and got to the bus then when we got down to the drop point where we got into the water, it certainly was interesting getting the groups together. Some were not as patient as others and just took off as a cluster. But hey, we had like three or four clusters of Events and Adventures going down the river. It was pretty warm that day too, so I can understand. So far, I've just been to that one trip. But it is definitely an adventure with Events and Adventures.

I first heard about Events and Adventures several years ago, but I was not 21 yet, so I couldn’t do anything. Then I was just thinking this year like I need to get out and do stuff and then I remembered Events and Adventures. I attended a lot of events and I made some friends. I also enjoyed the line dancing and spider cage. I've looked at the trips, but everything has been full. The next one I had signed up for is the roller-skating.

It’s only singles at Events & Adventures and that's what interested me about it. I was very nervous when I arrived at my first event but they were very friendly and I was good. There wasn’t a lot of people. There were like 20 of us but it was fun. I've been to 10 events so far and they were fun. I've been to trivias, to some drinks at bars, to movie theaters and to bowling. Usually, the people that I meet are new faces like throughout the events that I've been, I’ve only met one girl. We recognized each other so that was nice. But although we socialize there, we don’t talk about our work or our life. We just talk about our interests. I haven't attended any trips also because there are no dates that I can go out due to work-related stuff. They're usually on the first week of the month and unfortunately, that’s the first week that I can’t go out of the city. Therefore, no trips for me, unfortunately, unless they change. Nonetheless, I will definitely recommend Events & Adventures.

Events & Adventures was all over the place. It was on TV, radio and internet. I wanted to be around other singles and since the club was promoting that, I figured why not give it a shot. So far, I like the people. I attended events almost every day on my first month and I've been attending at least one week every month. I've attended some that are located at bars but some affairs I’ve been were the ones provided at the members’ houses. I still haven’t experienced any trips but that’s something I plan to do later on. The people were nice and good to hang out with. They were friendly, funny, fun and good to know.

I have attempted to meet people through other venues. I heard about Events and Adventures on Instagram and decided that it was a very interesting approach and went for it. For my first event, my worry was that I didn't know the people who would be there and I was doubting. I've been to four events so far and liked two. My favorite is the whirly gig, which was like bumper cars. There was camaraderie and I got to know the people a little bit more. The last one I went to was a video game thing and there was a lot of other people that had gone there from the public so there was no tight-knit group. I also went to an event at the country bar and met a friend. That was a good time, but it wasn't the best because I don't dance very well.

I'm fairly happy with my experience with Events and Adventures. I like that it was for singles, which I am, and that it was local and international opportunities for adventure. I've been with them since February of this year and I've been to about 25 events already. Last Thursday was at an event at the Museum of Flight. I signed up for that event and I missed the group because the parking was unbelievable, but I went.

Events and Adventures is a way to meet people. I'm a massage therapist, so I legally can't hang out with my clients, and I don't really know a lot of people in Texas. So, it's a nice way to be able to do things without being the only single female there. I was a little nervous going to the first event because it's a bunch of strangers. But everybody was super cool and super nice. I've met a bunch of new friends and it's been really cool. I've gone to the party barges, moonlight hikes and the comedy club thing. It was a lot of fun.

I normally spend my time at home and then I decided to go out and try something new. I was anxious when I got to the first event of Events and Adventure but once I started going to more events I started getting more comfortable, making new friends and whatnot. My days off are on weekdays, so it's kinda hard for some of the events. But I've been to five events now. I've been to a volleyball event and I enjoyed that. I'm brand-new to Events and Adventure but so far I've been enjoying the whole experience. I recommend them.

I had a friend who had heard about Events and Adventure and told me to look into it. I had just moved to Dallas in March, so I was looking to meet new people. I did a Dallas Mavericks game. And then, this most recent one I went to Bury arcade called Cidercade. That was pretty nice. And I did a dancing at Blue Goose, it was like a salsa dancing with dinner. That one was pretty fun.

I liked that with Events and Adventures, I’d be doing things that I probably wouldn’t think to do on my own, and then being around people that I do not know. While I'm there at the event, I find things that we have in common. I was excited on my first event but I wasn’t nervous. You can't be nervous in not knowing the strangers. So far, I’ve done ice breaking, softball and two restaurants. I also did a wine glass painting and I really liked that. It was really nice. I could have done that by myself and on my own, but it's just one of those things that you say you’re gonna do but never does.

I had a lot of friends that had gotten married and I can’t get them out anymore. So, I was looking for something to try. I’ve been receiving mailings for a year about Events and Adventures and I decided to sign up with them. On my first event, I was with a very welcoming group of people and I had a lot of fun. And it’s been like that ever since. I’ve done everything from sports to international travels and shows, and the accommodations have been pretty good. They’re usually 3 to 4 star and for the price, you can’t complain.

Events and Adventures' activities interested me. I was nervous and excited before arriving at my first event, but that changed after I arrived. I've been to four events a month and do a lot of the outdoor stuff. I do a lot of the hiking events, which I love. The Music Under the Stars event was cold but it was nice. I've also done the kayaking event. I made new friends and found a significant other on an event. I've been recommending Events and Adventures to a lot of friends that need a social life.

I heard about Events and Adventures at a party and I got interested as I was going through a divorce. The first event that I went to was fun, and the people were nice. I've been to two of their events so far. I did game night at the clubhouse which was fun. And then I ended up at the Cottonwood one, but I came a little late and there were only four people left there. That wasn't very fun. I prefer the clubhouse party because a lot of the events start late at night, like after 7:00 or 8:00. I prefer like happy hour time. So, I probably attend one a month. However, I'm thinking that it's maybe a waste of money for me. I'm a realtor and things that I have to do come up all the time. I do not have a set schedule and I do work on weekends. At the interview, they showed me a calendar and asked how many days could I go, and I honestly said that I could probably do one. And they still encouraged me to sign up then. But it's just not really compatible to my schedule.

A lot of my friends have been settling down and didn’t have a lot of free time. I got interested in Events and Adventures thinking it would be a fun way to meet new people and do stuff that I haven’t tried before. My first event was Cards Against Humanity back in 2017, and it was fun. Game night is fun. I join two to three of the group's activities per month, and I’m about to go on my first trip with them in August.

I’ve gone on some weekend camping trips with Events and Adventures, and it's always fun. I've been with them for almost three years and I have made a lot of really good friends. I’ve got a whole new social group, and it’s a lot of fun. But me and four of my other friends have all had issues with the whole renewing your membership thing. They should work on that. But other than that, I’d recommend Events and Adventures to a friend.

I got interested with Events and Adventures due to the fact that I could meet others. My first event was pretty cool, and everyone was friendly. It was a nice experience. So far, I've done 4 of their activities - the outdoor ones like hiking, water sports, and then wine tasting. I really liked the rushing river, flooding, and next week there would be another hike. Through the club, I’ve made some contacts and met people that I’ve been texting with.

Seattle is notorious for being hostile towards newcomers as far as the social scene and I became interested in Events and Adventures. The first event was a game night at a pool hall and when I arrived, it was fine. I have attended about six events a month for 10 months and I like most of the outdoor things such as rafting, camping and hiking. I was also on a snorkeling trip this weekend and it went really well. I have signed up for things toward the end of August. However, Events and Adventure’s website is horrible. Also, their payment management system is verging on unethical. When you cancel an event, they do not refund your money. Instead, it goes to an event credit that you can use on other events. They do not pay you interest on that, so they just keep this tab almost like a savings account of your event credit, and indefinitely. I have credit sitting out there for a long time.

I heard about Events and Adventures through a radio advertisement and I liked the idea of getting involved in different activities. In my very first event, I was a little nervous but I was mostly excited. It was informative and it gave me an idea as to how the activities are organized. So, from that point moving on, I wasn’t quite as nervous as I was on the first event. But meeting new people every time still makes you a little bit nervous. I’ve done four events so far and my favorite was the initial meeting at Park & Field. It’s a little restaurant bar area with an outdoor patio so it was a meet and greet game night event. I also did a hike in the woods, another one was a trivia night at a local bar and then another one was at a rooftop bar crawl in Wicker Park. Overall, I like Events and Adventures a lot. It presents a lot of good opportunities to not only experience new things, but meet new people. So, it’s important to take advantage of the opportunities that are offered.

A friend told me about Events and Adventures and I liked the opportunity to meet some of the same people over and over. I felt a little nervous at my first event not knowing what was gonna happen but I adapted to the situation. I’ve been to six events so far and my favorite was the Fourth of July party. We had a rooftop party, an open bar, a DJ, free barbecue and just hung out and socialized. I have also done skydiving and a pool party.

One of my brother’s friend’s father found somebody through Events and Adventures that he ended up marrying. I've been part of the club for about two months now and have been to one of the events but it was not as I expected. It seemed like a whole bunch of people that didn’t have anything better to do, and there wasn’t a whole lot of conversation. It was really awkward for me. We were just out for tacos and everybody was kind of sitting there like a bump on a log. I’m not going for a social club like just hang out and talk to people. I’m trying to meet somebody, and I was very clear to those people about that, and that was not an environment in which I was gonna meet somebody. Maybe it was just that one particular event, so I’m gonna give it a few more, but if another one goes the same way, I’m gonna call them and ask for my money back.

I had just moved out here like a few months prior to signing up with Events and Adventures, and I had no friends. The idea of being able to make friends and possibly meet somebody appealed to me. I’m kind of shy and awkward at first. In talking to people there, I’m kind of just reserved. I was a little nervous but it’s been great. I've been to probably a dozen events and I really enjoyed the International Eats. I thought that was really fun. I like trying new foods and the game nights are fun too. I really appreciate the Facebook page and availability of having input on future events. I haven’t attended much in the last month, but that’s because I actually met somebody at Events and Adventures. So, we’ve doing our own thing.

I'm enjoying my experience with Events and Adventures. Everybody I've met so far has been pretty nice and I've made a handful of friends. We're all pretty cool. I'm not originally from Arizona so the places that I've never been to are my favorite events. I had never been to Lake Pleasant and that was pretty neat. We rode on another individual’s boat. It was a pretty long day. I also had never been to Sedona and I just went there so it was something new. We drove out that morning and went to Slide Rock then come back later that day.

In the first 3 months after I joined Events and Adventures, I went to probably 13 events. I was gonna quit after I signed up ‘cause I can’t afford this and they were able to put me into 2 years of that. It was more affordable for me that way. I was a little unsure before arriving to my first event but everybody was welcoming. I felt like I was actually a part of them ‘cause they introduced themselves. I did go on the camping trip. We went tubing down a river while we camped, and we rented pontoons. These were all women my age. I met a couple of women from Chicago and we plan on seeing friends and visiting each other. I also met some from Rochester, Minnesota.

I liked the idea of doing something new. I joined Events and Adventures and I've been to about 6 events. There are more faces that I recognize now. I normally participate in the big ones like food events. I did one sport which was the broomball and that one was fun ‘cause it was just like everyone being super relaxed.

Personally, I have been jobless and homeless a number of times. Handing over money to a company that describes its members as "elite" and "professional" and echoing my answers to interview questions, only to find that it is a misrepresentation of the actual clientele is beyond unacceptable. Everyone at this company has been extremely rude and unresponsive to this. They just say "No refund for you!!" Then they just push you aside and tell you to cease asking for them to exchange a valid service for the money you paid. Funny that I see a lot of shining reviews on this site, but very few on others, and many reviews are not only completely opposite to what I experienced but also wreak of marketing campaign--so possibly listed by the company itself. There are not events every day, so any review stating that is inaccurate. Cancellation is almost impossible, and that is after their slick salespeople misrepresent.

I've heard about Events and Adventures on the radio and it sounded like it was interesting so I got in. It was easy, and what's most appealing was the background check and validating people. I’ve made a girl friend that lives nearby, and we hang out. I’m social and easygoing, and so far, I've been to three events. They were all of the same genre, though. One was a mafia dinner, which was the most fun, then the others were a board game night and a movie. The next one would be a pub crawl.

Events and Adventures helped me in exploring new places in and out of the city and meeting new people. That's kind of interesting. Every time you have something new to do, something new to learn, and someone new to meet. I was kind of nervous being in my first event. I didn't know how it was gonna be - if I could get along with people or if I would like the event. But it went very well. I liked the way the host understood me. His name is Alex. Every place I go to, I just get along with the new people.

Someone told me about Events and Adventures, and I was interested in meeting girls. I was nervous before arriving to my first event, but it wasn't too bad. I’ve been going to events about every week now. I was looking forward to doing softball, but that got cancelled because of weather. Right now, I mainly do the sports like volleyball, and if they have any flag football again, I’ll be going to that. I’ve definitely met some people, and my experience with Events and Adventures seems cool.

I’m having a good experience with E and A. I got interested because they have different events every day, and they have lots of various activities. And I wanted to have new experiences, so that was exciting. I felt really nervous before arriving to my first event but it changed after I arrived and got to know the people and what the event was all about. I’ve been a member for five months now, and I've been to about 16 events. I like the sport events like basketball and pickleball. I've been to a family game night and restaurant events, too. I made two new friends. I was expecting to find some dates, but I never really could go out with anyone with E and A.

I like Events and Adventures a lot, and I got interested because I was single. They have a lot of different things that you could do each month. And so, you get to pick and choose what works for you. I’ve met a lot of new friends through it, so I think it’s been a good experience. I would change the app on the phone. It isn’t really that friendly to use. Other than that, most of the events are good, and the people are usually friendly. Events and Adventures helped me get out of the house and meet new people and do new things.

I'm a very happy customer and I am telling other people and recommending the club to other people. What interested me to join Events and Adventures was the social activities. I was looking for people who are doing something basically and after I signed up, I'm looking almost everyday what's on the calendar. So now, it's my everyday thing. I'm definitely not the person who would be going somewhere everyday because I am quite busy. But otherwise, I'm looking for and finding more people with similar hobbies as I have. I'm mostly really looking for activities like hiking and playing sports. So these are the things that I am attending and it's fun. This is what I'm doing, what I'm attending and what I'm enjoying.

I got interested with Events and Adventures because my husband passed away about a year ago, and I was looking to get out and not work all the time. I haven’t done a whole lot of things just yet, but everything that I’ve been to has been really fun and terrific. I’ve had a good time. I went kayaking and indoor skydiving. I also went to a couple of mixers and to a brunch with some people with a group. Everybody’s been super-nice. My experience has been really good.

Events & Adventures is a way to meet people that's not on a dating app so I signed up. I was nervous going at the first event. I didn't know what it was gonna really be like, but a couple of other members were really good about making it comfortable. I went to a dozen events and I really like the archery tag. There was a hang gliding one that was really good. I’m getting one that’s like an adult water park that they're setting up with different blowup slides. I've done dinners and a couple of the happy hours. I really liked one at The Perch, and I like the ones at Postino every month.

I heard about E&A on 93.3 Radio for advertisement here in Arizona but at the time, I was in a relationship. After that relationship ended in October, I stepped away from dating. But in the beginning of this year, my mother mentioned E&A and asked if I had ever thought of checking it out. Who do you want to hear from that you're single and you should probably try to move on? Your mother. It thought it had been a few months and maybe I should go and check it out. There were three categories given to me when I first was doing my interview. There were travel, romance and friends, and what I said interested me was romance.

I attempted to cancel my contract within two weeks of signing after not attending any events. Shortly after signing I got another large medical bill related to my youngest child’s brain tumor that I wasn’t expecting, on top of other financial obligations, I just couldn’t afford it. They apologized my daughter had a brain tumor but that’s all they can do. So now my options are to go to collections and mess up my credit, or go to events and support a company that is inhumane, lacks any compassion, and cares more about enforcing their airtight contracts drafted to screw people over, than about people in general. Horrible company, horrible back end office, horrible rules and regulations. I’m sure someone from E&A will respond about their cancellation clause, that gives you a whole 72 hours to cancel, and the sales rep conveniently skips over. Irrelevant, grow a heart and soul E&A.

It was the adventures that interested me in Events and Adventures and I've attended two events so far. My favorite would be the volleyball. I liked the sports aspect of it.

I've been to 6 or 7 Events and Adventures' events and they are great, but I’m not really interested in the people. It sounded like it would be like-minded people, but it’s proved not to be. The type of people are a little bit older and not quite as athletic or adventurous as I thought. I’m not going to renew my membership when it’s over in December.

For someone who doesn’t already have a lot of friends in the area, I would definitely recommend Events and Adventures. It's for someone who wants to get out and don’t wanna plan and put something together. You can just show up. Even though I was interested in the kind of activities they had, I was anxious to see what my first event would be like. I still had the same type of anxiousness for the different events as I wouldn’t know what to expect, but I’ve made many friends. I've gone to four or five trips and over 100 events and ATV riding, camping and paintball are three of my favorites but they also have a bunch of other stuff like dodgeball, trampoline dodgeball, volleyball and wine tasting.

I had been part of It's Just Lunch and I wasn't really happy with them. Events and Adventures has followers on Facebook and they let me know about it. I was impressed that Events and Adventures has something going on pretty much everyday. I was looking for something more during the week and not so much on the weekends because on the weekends, I usually spend that with my friends and family.

Events and Adventures hasn't been too great. I felt lied to a little bit. The program itself is very expensive and the guy who was trying to sell me and get me to do the membership told me everything I wanted to hear so that I'll give him money. I wish that I could get my money back, but that doesn't look like that's gonna happen. For starters, I was well aware of the age range of the program. But he made it seem like there were going to be people around my age there, in their 20s, which was what I interested in. I've been to quite a few events and there had not been a single person. I am the youngest person in the program, which they made me believe that that was not the case. And I'm not happy about that. Everybody is in their 40s or 50s or older. I have been ripped off completely of thousands of dollars that I'm not gonna get back all because someone told me what I wanted to hear, and I fell for it.

I had a friend who suggested I look into Events & Adventures. She had been a past member. It’s a chance to get out, and do things that are fun, to meet people, and just maybe meet somebody. I did the icebreaker thing and played some volleyball, and had a good time. I also went to a baseball game of the Rangers versus Kansas City. Bowling might’ve been even more fun than the Rangers game.

I was interested in meeting new people and trying new places so I joined Events and Adventures. The first event that I went to was pretty laid-back, and I was nervous for nothing. After a while, it's nice to see familiar faces when you go to another event. I've made friends with a gal who I thought was pretty cool. She was hosting an event. I've been to 3 events and I've signed up for a lot. I went to get dim sum in San Francisco. That was really nice. They had like a fortune teller there. That was pretty cool. Some of the events I really would like to go to are in San Francisco or in the East Bay. So, sometimes the event is hard for me to get to 'cause I don't drive. There's a carpool option, but I haven't taken advantage of that yet.

I initially joined Events and Adventures to meet some eligible guy. Thus far, I've gone to three events with Events and Adventures and I'm on the fence. The first event I attended, scuba diving, was great and I had a good time. I met a couple of people there. However, at the second event at the City Winery, there was only one male there. Furthermore, I felt like I could do it on my own. As such, I wouldn't recommend the club because the club is expensive and what they have to offer doesn't add up.

I read a review about Events and Adventures and I liked the fact that through them, you can meet people. So far, I have been to five events and the Harry Potter trip to Florida was fun. I also like going to the game night. But being with Events and Adventures hasn’t been the most perfect experience. They could improve on some of the website stuff which are kinda confusing sometimes. It’s also hard to find what stuff you signed up for and it’s like skipping back and forth.

I was interested in the activities that Events and Adventures offered. There were things to do. It was something besides sitting home, doing laundry and watching Netflix. I haven’t gone on any international trips yet, but I’m a host now so I’ve been on numerous events. We’ve done so much. We went through Moaning Caverns cave and zip-lining. We went to theme parks. We’ve done things as innocuous as just getting around a table and playing board games. We do a lot of things and part of it is camping. It’s really not so much the event. It’s the people. Since I’ve joined, I've found new friends and quality friends - friends that I will keep even if I’m not a member of the club anymore... friends that if something happens to me, I can call.

I needed to get out and meet new people, and though I was anxious before, everyone at Events and Adventures was very welcoming. I've been to 15 events over the past six weeks, and I liked the Piano Palooza with the dueling pianos.

I was new to the area and needed a friend group. My first event with Events and Adventures was a professional dinner and I was indifferent about it when I first got there, but I enjoyed the event very much. Now, I've been to 25 events in the months I've been with them. My favorites were the trampoline, dodge ball, wine tasting, and break stuff, and the camping was fun. I’m a host now and I enjoy hosting the events. It satisfies my inner party planner. But I wish they wouldn’t cancel events. I feel bad for the people who sign up and don’t get to do things because there are low attendants. Other than that, it has been a really good experience.

I was looking for personal networking for friends and dating, just to have more social events to go to, and Events and Adventures have that. I was nervous and wasn’t sure what to expect at my first event but then I felt comfortable after I got there and I met people. The group activities I’ve done so far were the Book Club, Coffee and Brew, I’ve done a dinner, and I’ve done trampoline dodge ball which was one of my favorites. I was more physical and I enjoy active things so that was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to the Memorial Day camping that’s coming up next weekend.

I’ve always searched for events and vacations for singles. Then an ad for Events and Adventures popped up ‘cause I definitely don’t get out very much. Based on the very minimal information I could find out without going to that meeting, it was like they went out and did a lot of things that I wouldn’t normally get to do by myself. So, I figured I would see what it was about. On the first event, I really didn't know anything about it and what to expect. That part was a little bit unorganized. Meeting new people and doing things I don't even know about was a little nerve-wracking. Luckily, the website had the host's information. So, I texted and asked her where to go and what we were doing.

I had a lot of different types of events at Events and Adventures, and everyone was really nice. I went on some hikes, I did a couple of kayaking, I did a camping weekend over Memorial Day last year and I did one other trip. The trip was amazing, and all the hikes were great. The kayaking was really fun. I didn’t go to the ones that I didn’t like though, like hanging out at bars. I would suggest more outdoor activities and more stuff out in the suburbs, the northern suburbs especially.

I just retired from the Navy, and I was interested in getting out and meeting new people. I'm not used to dealing with people that are not military so I was a little nervous at first, but it's been better as the group at Events and Adventures is very friendly. You see a lot of the same faces, but you also see some new faces so it works out to where you still meet new people each time. I liked some of the painting classes and the wine tasting ones 'cause that's something where you just sit down and talk to people. Also, the manager at the Santa Clara office emails everything to the members. The membership part of it is a little expensive for me, but I've had a great experience.

I heard about all the activities that Events and Adventures have done over the years and now that I’ve finally moved back to the city, I figured I might as well try it out. When I arrived at my first event, I was a little bit nervous but the host there was really nice and cool. He made me feel at ease and I didn’t feel like I was forced or anybody was forced or that anyone was uncomfortable to begin with. So far, I've been to about four events since I’ve joined in April and I still plan on joining more. But things are getting busy around the change of the season, so right now, it’s a matter of finding more time to set aside for Events and Adventures.

I’ve been to four events at Events and Adventures. Two of them were bowling, one was a new member meet-and-greet and one was a trip to Glensheen Mansion up north in Gallup. Bowling was the most fun because it had the biggest number of people there, and I like keeping score and having a competitive activity. Driving up north was fun too. It was with a smaller group, so it was nice. One of the guys, Mark, seemed like a good guy and was fun to hang out with. He showed up at bowling too. For me, it’s not just about finding a girlfriend. It’s about expanding my social circle in general, whether it's going out with guys to have a beer and watch the game, or finding someone special.

I was recently divorced and looking to spend some time with other singles and pursue a new relationship. Getting the first couple of events at Events and Adventures under my belt was definitely helpful. I've been to five or six local events and they've all been good so far. There was a newcomer's evening, trivia night, a book club meeting, an art walk and a couple of restaurant-related activities. The dining or walking events are always enjoyable. The Facebook interaction calendar has been helpful at finding events.

I’ve been single for a long time and haven’t had very extensive social circles, so I figured Events and Adventures might be a good outlet. However, it has had some ups and downs. Some events I went to were a bit disappointing in that it didn't seem to have a very good turnout. A lot of these things I’ve been to haven't had the same people at them, so it’s been a little difficult to make lasting connections very often. But some of them have been pretty fun. I’ve enjoyed the karaoke events and even Hakone Gardens.

I moved to Houston from Hawaii by myself and overheard about Events and Adventures over the radio. I work two jobs and while I made friends through work, all they do is go out, drink, get wasted and party. That was fun but when that's all you do, it gets boring. Also, I'm getting older and I'm getting into this mentality about trying new things and doing stuff. So I did my own research and went to Events and Adventures' website. I read the reviews which budged me in that direction.

My first event was Feed My Starving Children and I was a little nervous, but then everybody was nice and friendly. Everybody talked and you could see that people already were friends. I've been to about nine events since December. I liked the laser tag. It's the one that they do the first of the month and it was my favorite. It was like the icebreaker, and then afterwards there was the big group. I also I liked the New Year’s Eve party where there was a charity event band. I've made friends at these events. I just wanted to get out of the house, and I really joined more events to make friends than to meet a significant other. Events and Adventures is a little pricey, but besides that, I really like it.

Wanting to try something new, I got into Events and Adventures and have been to around six of their events. I was nervous coming to the first one with nobody to go with, but I felt like it was good. And then I knew more people and we hang out. It's fun things to go. My favorite is the one where we went hiking to the Mission Peak at night. And then, we had the fire station one, which was my last, but I didn’t finish that because the firemen went out for emergency.

I recently moved to the area and knew only one person here. I thought Events and Adventures would be a great way to make new friends and grow my network. I was a little bit nervous before arriving at my first event. We all are, I think. You go to your first event, you’re not sure what to expect and what kinds of people you’re going to meet. But I felt confident enough that the kinds of people I would meet would be more professionals like me rather than just random folks that you’d meet at a bar. That was a little bit of peace of mind that I liked about E & A and part of the reason why I joined. That change after I arrived though. In the group that we were at, everyone seemed to be at least courteous. They tried to engage and get involved with everyone else. Everybody was cordial with each other, but more than that, they were trying to be warm.

After a while, a lot of my friends moved away to college and such, and then my friends that are still at home never really wanted to go out. I was trying to basically improve my social skills, status, go out, and experience things. But since none of my friends really wanted to do those, I took a look into Events and Adventures. My experience with Events and Adventures has been great. It has been a lot of fun. It was not what I expected but kinda what I expected at the same time. I was a little curious attending my first event. I was always more of a shy, quiet guy, and I’m trying to be more extroverted. Also, I was curious about the age difference or the age range of it for a while, because I heard about the ad two years before I signed up. But I figured that it was all more late 20’s, early 30’s and such. And then, finally, I have decided I’ll figure it out and just kinda go from there.

I have been with Events and Adventures for under two years. I heard about it through the radio and I felt like it was a good way to meet some people. The ones I like the most are drinking bar events. I didn't have any that I don't care that much mainly because if I wasn't interested in doing it, I won't sign up for it. After all, it takes a month or two to get to know people. Other than that, they should get a phone app instead of having to go to the website.

I'm a recently divorced mom in my 40's. I needed to get out and wanted to meet new people of different ages. I was interested about the Events and Adventures Club to meet some new friends who like to do some interesting things. Although initially, the single part caught my attention. My first event was a party which wasn't the best idea to start with. I could hold my own in a party, so it was fun. But I got completely lost and the logistics was a hassle. They did their best to explain the direction of how to get there but once I did, I couldn’t get in the building.

I was very nervous and apprehensive for my first Events and Adventures event because it was like stepping out into a new thing. When I got there, I found that the people were very cliquish like an old social gathering club. People would only go to an event if someone else is going. I went to the Frank Lloyd house, the golf outing and the karaoke, and in every event, nobody wanted to talk to anyone but who they know. The only person I spoke to each time was the organizer. People were standoffish and pretended to be something that they're not. So even though everything was good with my credit card payment, I was dissatisfied with my experience.

If you live a busy life, Events and Adventures ends up being convenient. I've attended 10 events and my favorite is the virtual reality at the movie theater. It's like you do a VR game and you move around. It's easy and cool. Other than that, I've done hiking and also heard a lot of good things about the camping trip. So I'm gonna do that soon. It’s been nice to have preplanned things to do, like entertainment-leisure-activity kind of things outside of work. Rushing at the end of the day, you already know there’s already something planned, and then you have to figure everything out. And although it's still early to make any new friends, my experience at Events and Adventures has been good so far.

I was interested in meeting new people and getting out instead of just sitting at home all the time. I’ve been with Events and Adventures since September and have attended a good 30 events. I like the sports activities. The archery dodge ball was a lot of fun and cool. I've also gone salsa dancing and joined the flag football. The roller skating had been fun too. I’m on a waiting list right now and I’d be getting on a trip in November. Hopefully, that works out. I’ve made new friends and have dated one person, but it didn’t work out.

I was just curious to see what Events and Adventures was about. I'm new to the area, so I wanted to meet people and that was their pitch. However, Events and Adventures is mostly just the same thing as Meetup.com, except that they charge you a membership fee, whereas Meetup.com doesn’t. It's a club, but I don’t feel like there was anything crazy special.

Everything looks fun at Events & Adventures. I met their people in person and they're evaluating me as a person to see if I'm fit for the club.

I don't actively go out and meet people and Events and Adventures was a way to make myself wanna do it. I wanted to give myself a reason to get the heck out of my house. I have attended two of their events. I attended an introductory meet-up but I had my son that day so I didn't get to finish up the entire rest of it. I liked the avalanche game more. I have one event signed up this month but since I work swing shift, 90% of the items available are not available during the time that I am. It would be really nice to see that some events were midday or early morning, or over breakfast or brunch. Even the night shift people would still be able to take advantage of this group.

Events & Adventures' going out and doing stuff with other people appealed to me, and I have been to 10 of their events. All of their events were fun, and my favorite ones were archery, dodgeball, bachata, and the art walk. I had a bad experience at one, but it wasn't an official one.
