Events & Adventures Reviews

The interview process with Events and Adventures gave me a sense of security. My first even was a museum. I wasn't clear on where it was but the good thing was the host texted detailed information including where to park. In that end, I was a little more confident that I could text and ask directions if I got lost. I've been to 10 events. Mostly, they've been sports - hiking, wallyball, volleyball. One of the hiking events that we went to was nature which was also very nice. But it's always a little tricky because you're not sure on where is the meet-up point. On the first hiking event I went to, I was in the wrong place 'cause the GPS took me to a different place. It was hard to get in touch with anybody. I had to drive around until I found the place. But other than that time, it's always been easier because now I know to make sure that I check with the host before going.

Events & Adventures presents themselves as having professionally organized, local events to meet other young professionals. They justify the premium cost of their membership due to this professional management, and claim that they provide nearly 50% of events free of charge. In reality, they are providing the absolute minimum to be in compliance with these claims. Many of the events are "organized" by them only in the loosest way possible, and would have been free to anyone that showed up.

On the first event, you're awkward and getting to know people. You know who your sign-in guy is and where your tables are. So, I don't know if this is a what-we-can-do-better situation too. It would be helpful if once the group starts getting together, maybe the tour person or the person in charge that night has everybody introduced to each other. Because you're really on your own to make that happen. There are a lot of people that have already been interacting with each other and they're already cliquey. So, it would be helpful to break the ice.

When I signed up with Events & Adventures, it was very easy. They explained everything. I went to do volleyball and Topgolf. It was good.

I joined Events & Adventures not too long ago, and so far, it's been pretty awesome. I've been trying to be as active as possible. So, I've signed up for as many of events as I can. I do a lot of international traveling. I haven't signed up for any of the international trips through E & A yet, but some of the trips that I was seeing that they have offered are of great prices. I also do a lot of traveling with work and just traveling a lot in general, and I like seeing how many other cities in the nation E & A are located at. For instance, I'm gonna go to Florida here in a week or so for work. So, I've looked at some of the events that are at the Tampa location. That is really cool. It brings in a lot of like-minded individuals just from the traveling alone where you meet other people who like traveling.

I noticed that the attendance over time is not very consistent. That's expected because there are different events, so everybody wouldn't really be part of an event. But I was expecting some type of oneness and what I saw was more of subsections of people. Other than that, the events are all interesting. I went for a bingo night, a softball practice, a bar, and a pedal biking. The pedal biking was really fun. The people that showed up for that one were a fun crowd. But my favorite so far is bingo night because, personally, I enjoy bingo.

Events & Adventures is something new and I was feeling a little apprehension before arriving at my first event. It was the book club and it was a fairly small group. There may have been eight of us so it made it easy to interact with the people there. An outdoor cookout event was my second event and I’ve also gone to the Murder Mystery Night. The Fourth of July event was quite fun and so was the Drunk Yoga, which was held at a microbrewery. It was the host's last hosting event before she moved out of the area and I've been to a few of her events and she was a cool person. So, we were just laughing and having fun and drinking some beer during and after. I've gone to a dozen events and I've been able to get to meet a fairly, more diverse, larger group.

I like adventure, adrenaline rush-type of events. I've done a few of those with Events and Adventures and so far, so good. I plan to continue to go to those type of events. The major trips are fun whenever you go somewhere for a few days and I like the idea that everything is already planned and set up. You just pay a fee and go. That's one of the best things that Events and Adventures does. However, the diversity is not as good as I thought it would be. Also, you still have to pay for some of the events even though you have a membership.

I joined Events & Adventures in January. I've done volleyball, a dinner, and a boat tour watching dolphins in Galveston. So far, so good. I'm seeing a lot of the same people, which is cool. Hopefully, I can meet more people, start to network and enjoy the moment.

The best thing I ever did was join events and adventures. I attend at least 2 events a week but typically I attend 3-4 a week, may seem like a lot but it’s not. What I have now is a social life. If that’s what you’re looking for then definitely join. I’ve met a bunch of great people but more importantly I have two really amazing friends (shout out to Tiffany and Anna Marie!) that we even do stuff outside of E&A. Most importantly, Ive found out (and signed up) for places I never heard of or knew existed!!!! Thank you E&A! It’s true everything is better with “single” friends. All the host are amazing and really go beyond to ensure we have a good time and everyone feels inclusive. I love having my own personal “planner” where all I have to do is check out the calendar, sign up, and show up, everything else is done. So if all your friends are married and you’re the 3rd wheel, this is the group you want to join and is a blast!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at events and adventures so far. I have always felt so welcomed. There are so many events to choose from and the event manager has always been so on top of every little detail. I love how there is always an event to go to and new people to meet. I can't wait to see what my next adventure will hold.

I got interested in Events and Adventures' activities and the fact that I have different life circumstances, so it kind of met my needs of where I wanted to go in life. My first event was very welcoming. Everyone has been very kind and nice. I went to a winery event. It was just a couple of hours. I had made it known that I was new to this, and they were very welcoming. One gal took the lead and just kind of introduced me to everybody and made it very comfortable.

I try to do at least six events in a month. We're seeing the same people at different events, so we're getting to know each other. I'm liking the experience and the events that they plan. It's what I expect. The membership cost was a little steep, so I'm always going for the free events right now. But for a year's cost and if I do six events a month, I'll get my money’s worth.

I was super nervous. But it changed because I had a drink, and I was more comfortable. But I'm way more comfortable going now. And I'm not nervous now because I know some of the people. I've done Wallyball three times. It's racquetball in a volleyball court. It's a team sport and it's fun. I went out afterwards and went to a bar with everyone and hung out and got to know them a bit better. I also did the 40s and 50s mingle, the salsa and tango dance lessons. And I have an upcoming summer game party this Saturday. I have a lot of activities in July. Paddleboarding, Waterworld. I'm doing the 4th of July party and the celebration before the 4th of July. So, I'm doing a lot. I already recognize faces and I just have to make an effort to get to know people to make friends, which I'm willing to do. I wish more of Events & Adventures' events were closer to Denver. Because some of them are on the outskirts of Denver, which I don't drive very far.

I've been a member since May, and the signup experience was interesting. I didn't expect to be interviewed. So that was cool. The interview went fine. The membership was more expensive than I anticipated because Events and Adventures doesn't have any pricing on their website, so it was just at the end of the interview when they showed me the pricing. I kind of wish I had known about the pricing upfront.

I wanted to sign up with Events & Adventures when I was married, but you can't sign up while you're married. Their club is an adult activity club. There's no reason it couldn't be a married club as well. It's a social event planning. My wife passed away two years ago. But while I was married, I wanted to sign up for Events and Adventures because it's a great little social club. Events and Adventures should make a second club that's for married people. It's just social activities and if you have kids and you're new to a town, you may want to go do a social activity with adults.

We play wallyball every single week. I've also done a few different sporting events, like kickball and flag football. I've gone and seen a movie at Red Rocks, which is our local amphitheater. It was really cool. However, the screening process for allowing people to join could be improved. Some people sign up for certain activities that they're not capable of participating in, and it takes away a spot from people who would want to be in that activity.

I have had a really good experience so far with Events and Adventures. I've attended at least 15 events since I signed up a couple of months ago. I like all the games. They have different games. I went to pickleball. That was really fun. At this time in my life, joining them is working very well for me. Everybody in the club is also very nice. They are patient. They explain the rule and they don't ignore you. I feel almost included in a family.

The first event I went to was at their new meet-and-greet and then afterward, they did games and a wine tasting. The crowd was nice. Since then, I've been to at least 10 events. I did hiking, camping, kayaking, and water rafting. I'd recommend Events & Adventures.

I was a bit anxious to meet new people, and the first event I went to was an outdoor one. It was cool to be there and hang out with people. It was a lot of fun. After that, I've been to a few more and my favorite was the paintball activity. Everybody was having fun being on teams. Events & Adventures is good for going for a night out, and I’m friendly with a few people. However, most of the things I want to go to happen on Saturday mornings, and I work then, so it doesn't personally work for me. Still, I would recommend it to someone who’s new.

I've been on two trips and I liked them both but for very different reasons. One was a ski trip and the other was a camping trip. The ski trip was a smaller group. There were 10 of us and we shared a house which was really great. I got to know some people. The Memorial Day camping trip was with a much larger group. There were 50 people or so but it was still very fun. But I'd like to see Events and Adventures challenge alcohol consumption more. Of all the events I've gone to, two of them weren't at a place that served alcohol.

Events & Adventures is fun. They give a lot of events that are exciting, a lot of dinners, and a lot of trips. I enjoy it. I just came back from a Lake Tahoe Trip. That was good. So far, the reps have been professional and they're making sure that everybody's happy. I'm happy with what they’ve been providing for me so far. But the website could be a little more user-friendly. Some of it is a little hard to navigate.

Keeping you informed is Events & Adventures' priority. They are good at making sure that they have a lot of information for you prior to the event. They're making sure that you know where to be, how to be there, and that you need to be on time.

The first event I did was a trivia night at a bar that was close to my house. It was not very fun and I didn't enjoy it. The host could have done a better job of introducing everybody and getting everybody more involved in the game. But the second event I went to was like a dinner at a barbecue and that was a blast. There was an event coordinator and she waited for everybody to show up. She had us all introduce ourselves and the conversation was really flowing, natural, and interesting. I had a better time.

I've been on two events since signed up last month -- one was the archery and the other was I went to hear blues music at Kingston Mines. I made a few friends. We don't communicate but when we were there, we were communicating. But I noticed that if you're on a waiting list, they let you know you can join on the same day, which is kind of late because I had already made plans. But I understand that a lot of people cancel at the last minute. Also, it said I had 24 or 48 hours to cancel and I tried to cancel but I couldn't cancel it. I had to send the rep a direct email and she was very kind.

I think there's a lot of misconceptions about Events & Adventures. I've heard a lot of the members and the grumblings, "I already have enough friends. I don't need any more friends. And I'm not meeting anybody that I really feel a connection with.” I have a different attitude. It's just about expanding my sphere and doing things. I like that there is such a wide variety of events because it gives an opportunity to attend without having to go through all of the planning and everything.

I wanted to meet people and expand my friend network, so I signed up with Events & Adventures. I also liked some of the activities. I thought it would be more kayaking and more outdoorsy type of stuff. I went to about 10-ish events, and pickleball has been my favorite. There was a Valentine's party, we went to a pool hall/bar, hung out with the group, and there was mini golf. There’s a golf outing coming up. I signed up for it. I just think they oversell the program for what it really is. I'm still feeling out the group, but there's a lot of people that are socially awkward. So, I haven't really found my niche of people. There are some good people there. It's hard to differentiate. There's quite a few that just live for the next activity. It's just hard to get to really know people.

I like the fact that they plan the events and I don't have to do any of that lead work. All I gotta do is show up or never show up. My first event was a VR event, so I was looking forward to it. I was little excited about it. I was just expecting to go places on VR, but no, I got some good conversations and met cool people. So I was definitely more ecstatic about the next event because it seemed like a good group of people that I normally wouldn't talk to.

For my first event with E&A, we spent the night watching the movie ET outdoors. However, it was a public event. I thought it'd be a private showing. I also joined the Halloween costume party. That was a private event and that was great. I was excited about that. After about an hour and a half mingle, it got cringey for us, so we decided to leave. But we were able to walk around outside the private area. There was also a Christmas mingle, a baseball game that got a group discount and some mingle in bars. There was a reserve fee. It's pay a deposit of $5. That was great 'cause it made sense.

Events & Adventures gets me out of the house more. I'm interacting with more people and having fun doing something rather than sitting at home all day after work. The last event I went to was ping pong, and it's a lot of fun. The group of people are a lot of fun. How they schedule the events is great. It'd be better if there was an app, but I've been told that they're working on that.

I was a little nervous and intrigued as well as a little excited on my first event. But everybody was nice. It was a piano bar where they had two guys playing piano and people are singing. It was on Los Olas in Fort Lauderdale, which is a very touristy neighborhood that I would not have gone to by myself. I haven't done as many events as I'd like to because I'm busy but I enjoyed pottery, and I did a mixology class last week that I liked. We went to a very hip downtown location and learned how to mix drinks. The night we had mixology, there was also a country line dancing event. I'm sad because goat yoga was postponed to a date I couldn't do it. We went to a hockey game, which now that the Panthers are steadily working their way towards the playoffs, is fun.

I decided to do Events and Adventures because I divorced last summer and I don't have any single friends. My first event was called Japanese Dinner on April 11th and it was at Yoshi Shabu-Shabu in Plano. I was very nervous. That night was not the best. I thought I at least get a "Welcome to your first meeting" or some kind of intro because I didn't know how it worked. I knew they didn't wear name tags. I went in and the host stuck a thing out in front of me to sign. I even told her, "What am I doing here?" She said I needed to sign in. At that point, I would think she should say, "Are you new?" But she didn't.

I was in the right space in my life where I wasn't seeing anyone and wasn't planning on it so I joined up with Events and Adventures. My favorite event was the camping one but that could definitely have been done better. They’re still working out some bugs. They're gonna get better every time with it. Primarily, it was a great time because of the people. The only thing was we were a little cramped. I'm sure they're going to just get more space and that will be an easy fix.

I reached out to Events and Adventures because I have been looking to build more natural friendships with people my age and doing it in an environment where I could experience active activities with people that wanted to engage and wanted to try to find ways to connect. The very first trip that I attended was an out-of-state ski trip. It was a weekend trip so I didn't know any of the people that were going to be there. Many of them were from other states. It was a nice and good event.

I liked the international travel. And some of the events that I wouldn't be able to do on my own. I'm booked to go to Japan. I've done a Topgolf drive range and dinners. The group leaders are in charge of making sure everyone got signed in and knew where they would go and had resources to reach out if they were confused or lost. They seem to be knowledgeable. There have been a couple of people I've seen a few times. And it’s nice to see familiar faces and have something about them. But it's all nice groups of people and some interesting hobbies. It's expensive for some people. But Events & Adventures offers a lot.

Enrolling with them was great. The experience was very detailed. But I felt pressure to make a decision right away. There should be the option to allow people to review what they can and cannot do. The trips are organized very well and you definitely get to interact and meet people. I've had some great conversations and it's good to see the diversity there.

I was nervous and a little confused when I went to my first event. There was supposed to be a sign at the table or a sign at the main place which I didn't see. But then I met up with everyone. It was a Taco Tuesday and we all sat at a table that they put together, talked, got to know each other, and ordered food. That was fun and everybody seemed friendly and pretty cool.

My first event was a Comedy Bus and I was a little nervous but I started opening up and having fun. Since then, I've gone to seven or eight events and they've all been pretty fun. They got things on the weekends, too, thankfully. I've made a bunch of new friends and I've already recommended a few of my friends to E&A that have already signed up.

I really liked the ping-pong event and the hiking event. I've made a good friend since going to the events. But I"m just 26 and it's really hard to meet a lot of people my age or younger. The majority of people I meet are in their late 30's or mid 40s. So no matter how fun the experience is, it's a different kind of fun when I really look at it.

I've been to the new member meet-up and a dueling piano bar place and it was fun. The venue was good and the other people I met were really nice. I made some connections. I've also done the trivia night which was fun as well. So far, Events and Adventures is probably more money than I should be spending on it. The fact they lock you in for two years isn't awesome. Other than that, it's what I expected.

We did Escape the Room and that was awesome. It's where you're given clues to open different doors and puzzles and you have to escape. However, I'm heterosexual. I've been in three events and on a total of those three events, it was usually 90% women. Yesterday, it was 12 women and two gentlemen. There hasn't been anyone to meet yet from my heterosexual perspective. I thought that this is where I could meet people.

I was trying to find something that I could do with a group full of people to make new friends. Because since 2020, it has been more challenging to get out there in social settings because a lot of people don't have the same mindset as you do anymore, and it's hard to make a conversation. I was scrolling on Instagram and I saw Events and Adventures, and I thought, “Great. It's not a dating app. It's actually something that you can make friends while you're doing this. Why not give that a shot?” So, I went ahead and I clicked on it, and I noticed that I couldn't log into it unless I was a member. That gave me a better feeling because that way, I would know that not just some random person could join and I would be put in an uncomfortable situation.

I was Googling and saw Events and Adventures. What stood out to me was the word adventures. I like having fun and doing fun stuff, even stuff I'm not good at. So, when I was talking to the guy who sold me my subscription, he said, “This is like recess for adults.” I said, “This is me. This is how I am. I just want to have fun.” The best for me is the Game Night. There were two games that I enjoyed. One was called Name that Tune, and the other one was called Price is Right. All the hosts were responsive, helpful and friendly.

Aside from meeting new people and making new acquaintances, which hopefully all turn into friendships, what I enjoy about Events and Adventures is the different venues that we have fun at. I would have not known to go to these places. So, it's a good club to be part of to where you can experience different things throughout the DFW area. And it makes it very easy for you to go out and enjoy it.

As a whole, Events and Adventures' program is pretty decent. As far as events goes, I haven't done anything too major, but I do like karaoke and dancing. Those are nice. The volleyball is fun as well. Everybody I've met so far is a pretty nice crowd. They were a lot older than what I was expecting, but they're decent people. Being part of Events and Adventures is giving me something that I haven't had in a long while.

I don't really have a group of friends and I wanted to go and do stuff with other people. I wanted to experience things with them and maybe meet somebody. I've been with Events and Adventures since February 28th and I've been to 15 events. My favorite one was the shotgun clay sporting one at George Bush Park. I pick and choose what I do. I usually do them during the week instead of on the weekends because I travel to our grandparents' farm and that's my weekend job. But if I have an event that I wanna do, I just do that and then I'd go to wherever I need to go after that. The people at Events and Adventures are great people to hang out with. We're all there for the same reason. It's just nice to meet other people with the same interest as what I have. Events and Adventures should keep doing what they've been doing. It's great.

I called and with one of Events and Adventures' sales representatives. They were more aggressive than I thought they would be for the services that they were providing. And when I asked if there was a refund policy, she refused to tell me. I'm in the middle of disputing with them, trying to figure out because their service is not what they said it would be. I don't like it.

I am looking for folks who like to hike and do things with their dogs and those kinds of things, which I do every day, weather permitting, and I decided to give Events and Adventures a try. I haven't been very successful. I don't know if it's the people I meet but there are just times it didn't seem to be working out. I've done a few events, but I haven't done that many. I'm 65, and I don't know that I'm a good fit for the demographic that they typically appeal to because I'm an older man. I haven't found a setting or made any contacts there that I really would like to follow up with. The things I've gone to are usually pretty short. They are no more than a couple of hours, and you can't really sit down and get to know some people.

My first event with Events and Adventures was interesting. It was karaoke, and I'd never done that before. So, I was a little reserved but eventually, I got into it. The host was very welcoming. It became a great thing. I’ve been to almost every event that we have. I decided to go all in. I do at least five events a week. I've gone to musicals, games, park events, and axe throwing. As a matter of fact, I signed up for my first international trip in October. I'll be going to Kenya.

Events and Adventures is a way to meet people. My first event was not fine only because when I got there, I went to the spot I was supposed to be and I looked around. I didn't see anything that looked like somebody I'm supposed to talk to. I was there an hour and then I spotted the right people. But I wasn't completely sure sitting there and I wasn’t gonna go around asking people. That was annoying. I would recommend when new people are coming to have something that you can just look for like a hat. But ever since then, it's all been really good. The game night was the most fun and there were board games. I would go for more karaoke, personally. That would be cool. On the whole, I'm just having fun with Events and Adventures and finding people friendly and enjoying this.

I was a little nervous at the very first event I went to because it was a little bit outside of my comfort zone, but I met Anne. It was a distillery. The people were welcoming. They were nice. It made me want to stay like, “Oh, okay, this investment is worth my money.” I didn’t feel overwhelmed. Normally, meeting new people that I'm not familiar with in large spaces overwhelms me, but that first experience was like, “Oh, okay, I can do this.” Also, it's not too big of a number of people that attend, so that's a plus for me. The distillery is home-brewed, and it was showing us the different models, and all of the fermentation that takes place in-house. The owner went through their fermentation process and how long it takes to get a batch of whiskey from their distillery, how long that takes, and we did tastings of the different ones that they had. They also had some for purchase. We also did a mini mixology course within that experience. So, that was good.

My first event was an icebreaker at a billiards hall. It was good. I made at least some casual new friends over the course of the night. My favorite event was the Whirlyball which was done a couple of weeks ago. The place we went to was definitely really good. It was like a mix of whirlyball, lacrosse, basketball, and bumper cars, and then you have five people on each team. Tthere was definitely a lot more camaraderie, and team building, though teams changed from game to game. People have the ability to sit out if they wanted for a game or two, or those who want to stick in for three games in a row. It was one of those very exhilarating games. It was not hugely physically demanding, but at the same time, you were sweating by the end of it.

I was recently divorced and wasn't a big fan of dating sites because of the one-on-one aspect of it. I thought joining E&A would be fun. It was a little expensive, but I decided to pull the trigger. The sales rep wasn't extremely pushy and he did his job well. However, they're a little unorganized, as far as once you get to the event.

My cousin mentioned Events and Adventures to me. I was moving to Houston and she said that I should try it out so I did. My first introduction to Events and Adventures was good and I liked it. I did a wallyball event. There was a mixture of people and they were all a little different. I felt a little nervous because I didn't know anyone. But I'm pretty social, so I knew that it wasn't gonna be hard for me to talk to people. Sure enough, it wasn't. Everybody was friendly, so it helped.

Enrolling in Events and Adventures was enjoyable. They did not require lots of information. I was a member twice. I was a member 15 years ago. I've gone on two ski trips. I've done a lot of events. I did skydiving, bowling thing, a lot of their exercise things, their hikes, and paintball. We had this one house that we have parties at often. We've done beach day and dinners. The skiing was amazing, but I looked at that as a trip more than anything else. There were about 15 people. It was five days. It was in Breckenridge, which was in Colorado. We all clicked and had a great time. I really hit it off with the person that works for the group. At one point in time, it was just her and I skiing down the mountain on the final day. She knew I was a beginner, but every day I was progressing majorly. So, I ended up going down a black diamond and it was a wonderful experience. I would sell others on Events and Adventures.

It's been nice to meet like-minded people and do some events that I wouldn't normally want to do by myself. So it's been nice to have a social group to do things with Events and Adventures. Now that I've been in it long enough, I've gotten to the point where I've met some people that we actually hang out outside of Events and Adventures as well to go see concerts or movies. So far, my favorite event was when we had a weekend for Labor Day, Weeki Wachee weekend, and that was where a lot of my bonding with my closest friends became because we had the whole weekend together in a relaxed atmosphere. We had a lot of activities. We got to eat a lot of meals together. I signed up for Memorial Day weekend at the Airbnb in Orlando just because I had so much fun getting away with everybody for a few days that I wanted to do it again.

The events are good and I like that they have events every day. They're a good opportunity to get out and do things that I haven't done before with people I've never met. I like the bowling event. I met some cool people there. Also, I went to the art museum and I liked it. It was something that I've been wanting to try for a while, I just never been. It was good to go out and do things.

I liked the idea of a full calendar where all I do is click to join instead of having to make my own events and then come up with people to go to with them. The idea of just joining something that was already happening really appealed. My first event was good. I really liked Trivia Night. I liked our Book Club brunch too, even though it was only attended by two of us. It was interesting.

I like the variety of events that was available at E&A. I like the active stuff, the different sports nights, the pool and darts. The wallyball nights and karaoke have been the most fun so far. All the hosts that I've had so far have been great, too.

I wanted to go out and do something different. I interviewed several different companies and liked the Events and Adventures format. My first event was good. It was a simple get-together. There were about 20 people there. I was standing on the side and they invited me to sit down with them at the table. I’m an eclectic weirdo. I wear a lot of bow ties so I stand out a little bit. They had questions about that but it was a very welcoming group.

I like how Events and Adventures don't make it too easy to join. You have to go through an interview and you have to make so much money and you have to be single. I like that about it because it means that the people who are joining are serious. I've gone to dinner a couple of times and bar stuff. I really like when we went to the gardens. There are a couple of upcoming trips that I really want to go on, but I can't because of the timing. I'm gone on some of the times that they were doing things. So that sucks. But it looks fun. It's been great so far. The only problem is my own schedule sometimes conflicts with the events. So I haven't been able to go to as many events as I'd wanted to. One time, they had an escape room trip, and I paid for it but I couldn't go because I was sick.

Events and Adventures' initial cost is very high for what I've done so far. I got my free stuff. And the overseas trips are expensive. I can travel half the cost. Also, I would love my friend to join me. But there are restrictions on it and it's a paid membership, which is a costly one. I know that that is a discourager for people who are not renewing. Other than that, I enjoyed the bowling night and the NASA tour, which was my first one out. It was closer to where I live. Everybody was nice. The first day I met ladies that live in my area. We connected on Facebook. We see each other now regularly. I connected with somebody else in my area at another event. Houston is huge, so it's nice to carpool and chat with somebody when we're driving an hour to go someplace.

I'd recommend Events and Adventures. The people are very nice. Everybody's open to make new friends. We went to Ginnie Springs last year. It was my first event. I didn't know anything about it, so by mistake or because I saw there was an empty spot, I went with a group from Miami. When I got there, they had everything set up. I shared a tent with a lady from Tampa Bay Area. She was very nice. It was awesome. I made a bunch of friends and we had a lot of fun. I also went to parties. The first party that I had been to was a Halloween party. It was amazing because Events and Adventures rented a venue at a hotel. We stayed there with open bar for two hours. Then we all went to the rooftop with the guests from the hotel. The New Year’s Eve party was different. They rented a nice venue but it was small. It was just our group, no people from outside. I didn't like it too much. After a while, you know everybody. It's pretty much all the time the same ones.

Events and Adventures provides a lot of diverse activities that's fun. Our host, Nate, is fantastic. Recently, I went to a mini golf event at the Mall of America here. That wasn't that great, but it was the before and after with the groups, and some of us broke off. That was a lot of fun in that particular setting.

I reached out to Events and Adventures because I was trying to get somewhere where I can meet people, make friends, and have fun together as a family. But what I'm seeing is kind of different. The first event that I went to was the ice skating one and it was fun because that was my first time. I didn't have much idea. When I arrived, the host, Alexandra was friendly and entertaining. There were four of us who showed up and other than that, nothing. When you look at events online, the event is full but when you show up, it's two or three people. I've attended four events now and it's the same. Although, anything like clubbing or a social thing, you see a lot of people because there are different people coming.

Events and Adventures came into my life at the right time. I feel it was meant to be, and it found me when I needed it to find me. It has changed my life in the sense I don't have to feel lonely, and I don't have anything to do. Even if I choose not to do anything, the fact that it's there gives me a bit of comfort. I'd be happy to find a couple of new friends and have somebody to travel and do events with. I’m at the stage of recovering in my grief and finding myself once again. I told my friend that I just wanna travel. I don't have anybody to travel with or just go do dinner with. I have old friends, but when you're widowed, your friends are your married couple friends. So, Events and Adventures is exactly what I was looking for and needed.

The guy that I talked at Events and Adventures gave me all the information I needed. But there's always that unknown, going into the new group, not knowing the people. But they're all friendly, so it cleared up before the end of the first meeting. Right after that, they had WhirlyBall up in Hurst which was the weirdest thing I've played. It's like playing basketball with bumper cars. You gotta get the ball in the hoop, which is vertical instead of horizontal. And you got bumper cars. You're plowing into each other to prevent them from shooting. It's an interesting game.

I did the Saint Patrick's day event and it was good. But the biggest downside of it is that it requires quite a bit of travel. Also, it's pricey and due to the cost, I probably won't renew my membership. Other than that, Events and Adventures has been pretty good and I'm enjoying it.

When I signed up, I email with their rep back and forth. Then, we ended up doing a Zoom interview. Then, I got access to the calendar and I could sign up for events. The most recent one was a dinner. We went to a ramen place and got dimsum. We hung out and talked. Also, I went to an arcade in Seattle and on Saturday, I have a hike coming up. They also plan international trips. There's one to Ireland, Alaska and the Caribbean. The website isn't great but it's something they've addressed already. Also, the age demographic is a bit older than I am. I'm 23 so I'm on the younger side. Other than that, the membership is fun and they have a million different interesting events.

Everything's been great with Events and Adventures. I haven't done any of the trips, but I've done quite a few of the local things. It's been everything from just going and getting dinner, to going and doing an actual game or activity. So, it's been all over the place. I just did a hike to the hot springs here in Washington. That was probably my favorite so far only because I've been trying to get into those hot springs forever. So, it was nice to do that. But other than that, they're all great. We just did a couple things for St. Patty's Day. We did a pedal bar and that was a lot of fun. I made lots of friends within the group, and to the point where now, we even often get together. As a matter of fact, I'm going out with a group of them tonight to go to a movie. It's been great increasing that social circle and getting a group of people that are in similar situations.

I’m kind of a foodie so I like doing the brunches. We've done brunches in different restaurants around our community. We had mini golf. We had bocce outside, which is really cold in Minnesota, but it was a fun group. I've learned pretty quickly that depending on the event, it can be a very different dynamic. There's kind of a more party types, which is cool stuff. But then there's this other group that's kind of mellow and more chilled. It's nice to have that kind of diversity in personalities. So it depends on the event and who's there, it's got its own unique vibe to it. But it's expensive. They have additional fees, like for brunches, it has a $10 deposit to lock in your spot. But it's all right. The facilitators seem very receptive to the feedback on different activities. They're always soliciting ideas. It's a good group of people here in their 20s who run the events and it seems good. It seems they're usually on top of things and really passionate about it.

I was exciting coming to my first event which was a Super Bowl party. I was very pleased and had a really good time. Everybody was very welcoming and we had good conversation. Events & Adventures is a good way to meet people. It's worthwhile.

I've gone to two trips with Events and Adventures and they were good. It's easy to get information about their upcoming events. They send you a calendar every month and you can just go through it whenever you want. But considering what I'm getting and the amount of money the membership costs, I expected a little bit more.

They're definitely the more affordable ones. But we're paying quite a bit of money every month and then there's an additional substantial fee to do most of the events in addition to the monthly subscription.

I was nervous going to my first event but that changed afterwards. It was one of their really casual events for volleyball. I quickly was able to identify where the group was, walked over there and, you know, introduced myself, met the few people who were there, several of whom were regulars who had been there awhile. We played volleyball with help 'cause we were doing something and not just awkwardly getting to know people. I've also gone to a splatter paint event that was a lot of fun. There was also one that was more physical like ziplining. I liked that a lot. I was also a big fan of all the lake trips on pontoon party boats. Events and Adventures is not a perfect program but it has more pros than cons overall.

Events and Adventures is expensive but so far, it's been good. I met one person that I didn't care for but other than that, everyone else is cool. I would like to do some more cruises and I asked Mark, the CEO, about them not doing cruises. He said he didn't wanna do it because people would get upset about the prices.

Events and Adventures has been great for me. It's exactly as advertised. You get to meet new people, try new things, and have fun. They got a great variety of events. If I do ever have a comment, I let my host know, and they forward it on and try to accommodate everybody. I've found them to be a very neat organization, and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I like that with Events and Adventures, my name isn’t all over the internet. You have to sign up and can't see who else has signed up. It feels safe. They also do a background check. The guy that I met with when I did my video interview was nice and has helped me. I moved from a monthly plan to the all paid in within the first 30 days. There are a lot of members and a ton of activities to choose from each month. I've gone to two events. The first one was mini golf. The second one was the new member orientation and game night. The game night was fine. There were a lot of people there so the opportunity was there. However, we were in our own small group doing games and so it didn't feel like get around very well and chat with other people. It also seems like it's a much younger crowd and not the same industry experiences. I'm in high tech and not seeing the same people that I'm looking for.

I've met a lot of my friends through E&A. The first thing I did was went hiking. It was a great way to start off. Slowly as I go to different events, I'm seeing the same kind of people. It's cool. I also went camping and that was fun. We had a good time. I like E&A because there are so many cool things that they come up with. It's giving me help to meet other friends. I'm trying to convert one of my friends right now to it. She's very interested, and so is her friend. The only thing is sometimes I wish there were more events where it wasn't $50, $75 to go to an event.

The events have all been really great. The best thing I have done is not expect anything out of them. So, there's no disappointment. Not all of the events have been well thought out, but I've enjoyed them. I really enjoyed the forging class. So, we worked with metal. Events and Adventures is a great social organization. But don't expect to meet anybody out of it.

I've gone to quite a bit of events. I like the variety of stuff that we do. I tend to be more into physical activities, so anything that's dancing or sporty. But I haven't been able to go to too much because of how my schedule's been. But some of the restaurants are pretty cool too. So I'm slowly picking up speed and attending where I can. For the most part, everyone's super nice. You can tell the seasoned members versus the new ones. They're quieter or a little bit more awkward. But the people that are there consistently and that have been in it a while are really good about incorporating the newer members in. It also depends on what the activity is because if it's a sit-down activity, it's a little harder for that. But there is a really good balance of newer members versus older members and that camaraderie. There have been a few hit-and-misses with events that weren't my cup of tea, but they were still fun. It's always good to try new things.

It's really easy to find out about upcoming events. They post on Facebook and then they have a website with their calendar that has dates and events. They do it about a month out, so you're able to see visibility on what's going on and what's in the area. They'd give a location and price. So, it's pretty informational. They're also very open to suggestions. Sometimes they do a survey, like asking, “Hey, if we were to do a hot air balloon trip, who’d be interested?” Then when people say, “Oh, yeah,” they vote for it, and that helps out as well.

I really like the events. They've been fun. I've been able to meet some cool people. My first event was a jazz thing at The Balcony Club and it was pretty cool. It wasn't a lot of people but it was a nice crowd. It was intimate and we still got to know each other. I've also gone to a bar and it was nice. I've also gone to the aquarium. But I was confused about the cost. I thought that when you paid for the monthly fees, that would cover some of the events. I didn't know there was going to be an additional cost for some of the events too. So, I've been picking things that are free or low-cost just because I'm not sure what the environment would be like.

I've been on four events and I didn't always have a great time. I also ended up missing a couple. At the first one I went to, I was nervous. But I hadn't really connected with a lot of the people that I met at the event and once I met everybody, I wasn't as nervous.

Events and Adventures is okay so far. They've been nice events, activities, dinners, and wine.

I've attended many events so far and I am very satisfied. The calendar comes on the 15th and it's not very difficult to find information about upcoming events. But some events that are good are filled out very quickly.

Most of the activities I've attended with Events and Adventures have been spot on. Been to an escape room once. At the ladies' residence, a game night. We just went to a splatter painting party on Saturday, which was fun. We got to have a little fight with each other where we were just throwing paint. I have trampoline and dodgeball tomorrow, which would be fun too.

I've done some virtual stuff with E and A. It's helpful that they have a group leader for everything who's in charge of keeping it organized. Everybody else gets to do their own thing. It's not your job to run anything. I was on the fence because of the investment part but it's the time saver as far somebody else making the plans and putting all that stuff together. Somebody else is making the reservation. All I gotta do is look at the calendar.

The activities I like going to are the active ones, whether it's a hike or dancing, things where you're moving. My favorite is the Tough Mudder which is an obstacle course, race for 10k. It was a lot of fun.

I didn't know that we would be having events all over the state of Illinois, not just in Chicago. It was a little hard to go to those events at first. But then, after going to many events inside Chicago and seeing some events that I really liked outside Chicago, I started to travel more to places like Lombard, Mount Prospect, Orland Park, and Evanston. Especially when I started seeing the same people over and over again, it started becoming much easier to go to those events. Every time I go, the company there is amazing and the host makes it a lot easier. There are a lot of great open-minded adults, which makes the events more special. It’s been a great time and I love the people, most of all.

I was looking for a travel club more recently and Events and Adventures came up, and that was when I decided to get more information and decided to join. I started on January 4th., and I've done two events a week since the beginning of January. It's been really easy to find events to join. I like the social calendar and how it's built out to have a little bit of everything. They recently hosted the Valentine's event here in Minneapolis, and I attended both of them, and both of them were really enjoyable with really good turnouts. I met a lot of nice people and met a really good coordinator.

I'm single so the dating potential through Events and Adventures was cool. I don't think that's gonna happen for me, but I still enjoy hanging out from time to time. I live 60-plus miles away. I signed up for an event today, which is the first time in months. I went to Columbia and I met some people that I will continue to travel with, with and without Events and Adventures. I already have. So those are two, amazing relationships. Events and Adventures runs their organization perfectly. I feel like the same people tends to circulate through the events over and over. I think it might be territorial, but it's gonna be the same people, which is great. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just like, is there gonna be a new potentially attractive female? As far as the group leaders, they're all good. Events and Adventures hired the right people. They're not the socially awkward ones.

Events & Adventures' service is good. I've attended lots of different events. I've done bowling and pickleball a lot. I've also done a rafting trip that was three days. I also did a five day ski trip last year to Canada. I've also done multiple dinners at different restaurants. My favorite was the ski trip to Whistler. It was well organized. What I like about Events and Adventures the most is that the group is more inclusive. Somebody tries to make the least likely person to talk feel included. I like the variety of events and that the service introduces you to a lot of things you wouldn't seek out on your own. The only downside would be the cost. I won't sign up again just because of that.

Events and Adventures told me that there wasn't gonna be a cancellation fee when I first signed up for it. It’s slow season for me, so cash is not coming in this office and I wanted to cancel. I'm a little bit younger and on top of that, they also told me there's gonna be people my age and it wasn't the case at all. So, I was literally just throwing money away. Another thing is they're charging me for a whole year and a half when I just wanted to sign up for the year. The rep said something about giving me six months free and when I wanted to cancel, they wanted to charge me the whole year and a half or the remaining balance of the year and a half too.

Signing up with them was easy. The events themselves were pretty cool too.

I like their calendar and the logistics of it. The events are a good mix. They are at different times so I can fit them with my schedule. There have been cooking and athletics classes. The dog sledding activity has been one of my favorites. It was freezing but it was a lot of fun. I have also loved our group coordinators. Nate, who has been in charge of everything, has been amazing. I have a pretty good group of friends and I've gotten myself a boyfriend out of it. But I didn't like other members who are not always my favorite hanging out.

I initiated a call to Events and Adventures and then I spoke with somebody and liked what they were having to tell me, and I signed up the same day. I'm not very much a social person, so I was very nervous about the first event, but a lot of people in the group were very friendly. I’ve gone to quite a few events already. I did a trivia night at a brewery. I did the New Year's party. I did a game night at somebody's house, and there was a seafood boil at another house. Bowling was another one. The trivia nights are really good. We usually do them in a brewery because breweries are usually the ones that do them around here. We kind of meet up and then we decide on who's gonna be on a team or whatever is required by the brewery, but you get to learn about the trivia content. You also get to learn about each other through answers. Overall, Events and Adventures is a really great way to get out and kind of explore the area and to meet new friends.

What a terrible group, event manager in Phoenix is terribly rude to those coming to join the group. The calendar is repeated constantly and there is nothing new or remotely interesting. They should fire their terrible event manager and get someone who is friendly and enjoys her job. This one does not.

I'm a little frustrated right now. I was given credit money on my account, but when I signed up for some local events here in Houston, Events and Adventures took money off my credit card instead of my balance that's available on the account. I contacted the manager of this area, and I thought it was taken care of, but if I go on my account now, it shows that I have a zero balance. I had 200, and the events weren't even $200 worth. My credit card still hasn't been credited, and I texted the manager again yesterday, but I haven't heard back from him. Another thing is that living in Houston, everything is so far apart. Events and Adventures has a lot of activities, but Houston's a big geographical area, so I can't go to as many as I would like because they're a good 45 minutes to an hour away. That's tough, especially if it's a weeknight. The people I've met are great though.

Events and Adventures is one of the things that it is what you make of it. If somebody comes in with an antisocial perspective and they're thinking it's going to automatically get them friends, it's not really the club that I would recommend to them. You gotta be proactive.

My favorite event so far was when we went to a cornhole tournament and it was very cool. There were so many people there and we all kind of hung out. We were talking, drinking a little bit, and eating. I mingled and talked to one group and then I went over and talked to another group. This month, there wasn't a whole lot of events that came up that I was really interested. But I'm looking forward to what next month would bring.

I like that Events and Adventures has a busy calendar, a whole bunch of singles and something to do every day. I wasn't sure what to expect on my first event. It was at a driving range. I was trying to actively talk to people that were part of the group. As it went on, it became more relaxed and casual where it was easier to hang out with a group of random people. There's a good amount of people that were at that event that I still see all the time that are regulars. There's a small group of regulars that are at a very large amount of events, then there are people who are slightly less regular that sporadically show up throughout different types of events.

I have been very impressed with the organization and the people. The coordinators and the other members have been really easygoing and extremely friendly. I've never once felt intimidated. The events are convenient and fun. It gives me something to do in the evening. There's also a sense of camaraderie. You sort of see the same people, and some people kind of dominate the groups of the events. But that's okay because it provides that continuity.

They spend a pretty good amount of time before you sign up with Events and Adventures. I had an hour-long call. The lady and I were just having a good time having a conversation. I knew what to expect and knew where it was. I was just excited to get started. The host is always there to get you introduced to the event. There's also been a wide range of stuff to do. I've learned mind dancing at one of the bars. I went to an archery and learned how to shoot a bow. There are a lot of the same pub crawl-type things. We did the fancy New Year's Eve Ball. It's been fun. It's nice just to have something to do with like-minded people. One of the ladies, we've gone out to dinner just separate from the group.

I just got back from my trip to Telluride, Colorado and that was good. I went snowshoeing, horseback riding and snowmobiling. Give Events and Adventures a try and go to as many events if you have time for in your schedule to meet more people.

My experience so far has been pretty good. I go to events, mostly sports, and all of the members are really nice and friendly.

They have different types of activities for all sorts of likes and dislikes. Every night there's a different event that you can participate in. Some are an additional fee but some are just free activities. They're also screening people and you're in a safer environment to meet other people, whether it's for dating or just to have fun. I've made some really great connections and great friends. I've also started dating somebody in the group. They do a lot of hikes and I like to participate in those. There have been paddleboarding events and volleyball on the beach. For Christmas, they did that boat parade which was a lot of fun. On New Year's Eve, they did a party at the Grand in Davie which was really nice.

I am really happy with Events and Adventures. I've been to quite a few events and I've enjoyed the archery, axe-throwing, and cocktail-making. The only thing is events get filled up really quickly. So sometimes, if you don't sign up right away once the event calendar opens, then it's hard to get in.

We were doing a Renaissance fair thing and I like doing stuff like that. Except Events and Adventures was supposed to do it in February, but I didn't see it on the calendar. I canceled a lot only because of locations. The New Year's thing was fun, but that's a once-a-year thing. The Happy Hours is also fun. We also did a glassblowing event and a trivia night. The comedy thing was also great. The age gaps are out there. That's why when Events and Adventures does the age-appropriate events, it's cool. I'm 52. To me, talking to a 24-year-old is creepy. But I talk to anybody. I asked one girl out, she said yes, and I left without taking her number because I was nervous. But I met some good people.

For my first event, I mistakenly chose one of the biggest events of the year so I was freaked out but everybody was super welcoming and very friendly. It was a Halloween event and the first person I ran into happened to be one of Events and Adventures’ dozen hosts that night. He was super sweet and he walked me over and introduced me around. It was awesome. Going back after the event, I saw that there was a sign-in table. People were lined up there and being a newbie, I just went around them. I didn't know the protocol and I didn't read the email close enough clearly. It wasn't until my fourth event that I went to the new member event and I've already done a lot of what they were teaching us.

My first event from beginning to end was not the greatest. The address was wrong and I'm already driving an hour away from home to Massachusetts. So, I drove in circles and it's in the downtown area. I didn't drive a huge distance, but I was all over trying to find it. After half an hour, I finally found it. I tried calling the guy. He said he wasn't there yet. They were supposed to start at 7:00. Everybody showed up in a group at 7:30. So, over two and a half hours of driving just for 25 minutes and sitting at a bar alone for half an hour. I went to one other event and that was the New Year's time. That wasn't as bad, but it wasn't great either. But the one lady who was the host person was very short. I tried talking to her about the actual club-related stuff different times. I get she was busy, but it was a lot of off-putting things.

I like that it was no pressure, that I could just go do stuff. I also like the variety. There are a lot of girls, which is okay. And there are a lot of girls my age, which is good. So, it's more of a place for me to connect with other females. I like the hiking events. They're fun. And the New Year's party was, too. But I can't participate in a lot of the things because I don't drink and I'm vegan. Also, Events and Adventures is expensive for what it is. And whenever you sign up, it would be better to be more open about, "You might have one guy at each event and the rest are gonna be females. And they're all gonna be middle-aged, divorced women."

I've gone to bingo, casino night, a dart game, and a lot of dinners. The young professional dinner was my favorite because a lot of the events there are based on who attends. So it just happened to be a dinner with some people that I clicked with. I've been having fun with Events and Adventures. But a lot of my friends could not afford it.

I have enjoyed Events and Adventures quite a bit. It has pretty well fulfilled my needs. At the beginning, I enjoyed learning about new places and new activities. I am new in the country, so for me, there are many things that are new. I've done a little bit of everything and it has been pretty interesting. I personally like any kind of active event. I don't like just sitting at a bar. I like sports. We have played volleyball. Tonight, we have wallyball, ping pong, and billiards. We also have done hiking.

I like what they offer. I participated in mostly, dinners and bowling. However, I see mostly women in some of the events, not many men. But I like their service. It's pretty good, especially for people that's new to an area because you learn about different places and people.

I recently attended the Happy Hour at the Beverly event with Events and Adventures. They did Christmas lights in December. There was a little bus tour. We went through a neighborhood and looked at Christmas lights. Everyone's nice when you go to the events. Everyone's very open to meeting new people and friendly. A lot of good friendships have come to life. It's been a good time as far as getting to know people and getting out doing different events. It's a fun way of doing new things.

I like meeting new people and doing new things so the first event was fine. I’ve done a crafting group, a drag bingo and there was breakfast for dinner. I signed up for a few events that I had to cancel because I've been sick. But for the most part, I find two things a month to go to. My favorite was the craft thing. You got to create a craft and that was the one where I probably got to talk to people the most. It's all been great.

I was a bit nervous and excited at the same time on my first event. But the persons that I met were warm and welcoming. The reps from Events and Adventures were always introducing people to the new members, and they always interacted with us and that was fun. I went bowling, to a couple of the dinners and a Shakespeare musical. But the New Year's Eve Party was my favorite. The experience is definitely an adventure.

When my daughter went off to college, our house was empty. I thought I should get out and start doing something. I looked for a social club and I wanted one where you can mix and mingle. Events and Adventure was the only one of the 60 to 100 that had the mixing with a group and mingling. I was scared to death as I had never done something like that. But I gave it a try.

I've met a lot of friends through Events and Adventures. I've only been a member for three months, and I can tell the hosts care. From what I saw in the past, they do the events seasonally and there are events tailored towards the spring/summer. They have every category. Whether someone likes to go to the bar or see a play at the theater, they have a bunch of different options. They have from karaoke night to trivia night, as well as billiards, axe throwing, disc golf, and hiking. They did a glassblowing event and an indoor putt-putt, which was interesting. The putt-putt was here in Dallas, but it was a different take. It was more towards adults.

I joined back in October, and I was excited with my first event. It was hiking trips, and I like hiking. I've since went on a dog walk, to a comedy show, and to the New Year's party. I've done a murder mystery party too, and that was a good one. I also went snowshoeing, which was awesome. I'm going wine tasting and snowshoeing again the weekend after this.

I went on a go-kart outing. That was really fun. The event coordinators were very good, funny and welcoming. They made sure the newer people get introduced around and were good at making sure they were getting pulled into conversations. They do a really nice job of putting together a variety of different activities. They have large group, small group.

I was very nervous on my first event with Events and Adventures because I was by myself. But everybody was very nice and welcoming, and the host was very accommodating to make you feel good and comfortable. I love the volleyball because it reminds me of when I was in my late teens and early 20s. That was cool and something I enjoyed back then and still enjoy now. I enjoyed going to see The Nutcracker too. It’s something I've always wanted to do but my ex-husband never wanted to go to stuff like that because to him, it was a ballet. So, it was nice to be able to have someone to go with. So, that was nice. Also, there's been some bingo nights at some restaurant bar-type situations and we've done some hiking and holiday-related stuff. There was a pop-up Halloween thing, which was fun. We did salsa dancing lessons and a cooking class too.

I enjoyed the first event with Events and Adventures. I didn't totally gel with the first set of people, but I realized that there would be lots of different people in all the different events so I set my sights on the next one. I did a theater event, a coffee and pastry evening, two online cooking classes and a Christmas Market in Boston. There are some things that have sold out. But for the most part, I find that I get an 80% chance of getting into the things I would like to go to. Events and Adventures make it obvious when the next calendar will open up and they have reminders for that.

I feel like, in my initial visit with Events and Adventures, there were things that should have been communicated that weren't. I didn't get a chance to see what the calendar looks like and with my work schedule, a lot of the events happened during my work hours. So, I'm not even able to attend 90% of the events. Then, the few that I could attend, it has to do with like drinking and I couldn't cancel or change. I didn't realize it until after I signed up. Then I did my Google review and checked on that and saw a lot of people have the same issues. They actually have multiple lawsuits against them.

I had been looking for a way to get out of the house and meet new people. So, I thought I'd give Events and Adventures a try. I haven't been on a lot of events. I've been to about four. So far, my favorite was the Footloose musical at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. That was great. The calendar has been great. It's just since I work overnights, it's tough to find time to be able to go to things. It's just sort of working within my schedule. Everyone's been great so far.

My parents kept on telling me to join Events and Adventures. When I first joined it, it was because I was depressed. I needed a way to get out of the house. I was nervous on my first event but it changed after the first three to four events. I haven't attended any of the trips because they've been too expensive for me. I've been doing two to five events a month though.

I was supposed to go on a trip to Greece August of 2022. They did not tell us the cruise line company required full vaccination including boosters until late July approx. 10 days before the trip, it was too late to get vaccines and boosters. The cruise company released their vaccine policy April 29, 2022. They said they had just found out at the last minute. Which was a lie because they attached the letter from the cruise company with the April 29, 2022 date on it. Then they refused to give our money back. $4000 down the drain and the dream vacation down the drain. Terrible company to work with. BEWARE!

My experience with Events and Adventures has been good, and I've met some really cool people. We go to some really cool events. The calendar changes every month, and there's a lot of different events for everybody. There's usually something to do every day, even around holidays, like a Friendsgiving thing going on for November. They're trying to get a party going for December as well.

I needed to build a support system after I got divorced and Events and Adventures has provided that. Also, the people have been great. After two years, I decided to become a lifetime member. I love going to kickball and trivia night. I did twilight sailing, biplanes, and axe-throwing. I really wanna try the bingo because that looked like so much fun. Everybody always gets together for bingo. I highly recommend E&A. I bring potential dates to events to kind of screen them on how well they get along with people in the group.

Events and Adventures is a good way to meet people. The people are great to an extent. The first event I went to was not what I would have expected. They wouldn't put two tables together to make us all sit together. All the people who had been in a group for a longer time sat at one table, and there were two of us that were fairly new. One other person that sat with me at a different table felt segregated a little bit. Most of the events take place in the cities. With traffic, it's about an hour and a half drive home for me. I went to leave, and they made me feel bad about leaving at 9:30. I refrained from going to a few other events because the first one left a bad taste in my mouth.

Events and Adventures was a good way to get out and do things that I wouldn't normally do. I was excited before arriving at my first event but my excitement wore off a little bit so it was less after I got there. The beach trip was my favorite event and I liked that Events and Adventures did a rodeo or a country dancing night. That was cool.

I got a phone call from a salesperson in New York and she was the best salesperson I've ever heard. She sold me on to Events and Adventures. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I joined so that I could meet women and hopefully find a spark. I met no one that I'm even remotely interested in. I had a couple of bad experiences and I talked with Nate about it. He's my E and A rep and he works full time in Minneapolis. I had an instance where I went to this gathering and I was relatively new. Most people didn't know me. I wasn't introduced to anybody. It was very cliquey and I left early because the only guy that I was sitting with was Mr. Untalkative. It wasn't a very pleasant experience. Nate took note of this experience and he said he would take care of it. Nate is very good at some of that stuff.

I joined Events and Adventures this summer. My work schedule was changing so I knew I was gonna have a little more availability. I thought it would be something different to try and some of the activities sounded fun. The most recent events I did were bowling and ziplining. So far, I've met some great people and the events are fun. These were things that I maybe wouldn't necessarily do on my own so that was nice. Events and Adventures has been good. The fact that they offer a lot of different types of events is why I would stay. The cost was an investment. I live a couple of hours away from the city where they do most of the activities, but it's worth the drive for the most part.

My first event with Events and Adventures was a beer festival on the East side. Only five people went but everybody was nice and cordial. So, it was a good time. I was a little nervous because I didn't know anybody and I wasn't sure how it all worked. But as I went to more events and met more people, I became more comfortable. I’ve attended maybe 12 events so far. I went to Lake Pleasant and we went down the slides. That was the most different and not something I do commonly. So, that one is my favorite. I also went to a volleyball in the park, bowling, a new member orientation and maybe four dinners. I've done about three festivals, a salsa dancing night and Dave & Buster’s. The events were well-planned and good ideas. Sometimes it's the same people over and over. So, there's not a lot of variety. If I had to say a downfall, that would be one of them. But I like Events and Adventures and I recommend it.

Events and Adventure is an opportunity to meet people outside of my normal like social groups. But the format of a lot of the events they have tend to be with larger groups and it tends to be less inviting towards newer members. I've attended two dozen events so far. My favorite events so far are the board game nights or the mock game show night.

I go to events frequently and have met a couple of friends. The events I've been to are fun. Everybody else wants to go to them. Everybody has a good time.

Events and Adventures has a variety of events to do. When I inquired about signing up, I was thinking it would be a couple of events per month but they've got something every day. I just joined in July and I’ve been to five events. The first one went well. I was a little bit nervous about figuring out where to go. It was a sand volleyball event and I'm new to the area but the directions that they gave were great. I was able to find it without any difficulty. I found the table and they had me sign in. Everybody was friendly and I liked the event. We also did a coffee walk to see Fall colors.

It's been good with Events and Adventures. I've been to a couple of camping trips over Memorial and Labor Day. We did volleyball in far places.

Everybody was very welcoming and seemed nice. I've been to 10 events already. There was a hayride in Golden, and that was my favorite one. I've made a couple of people who I would consider friends. I have dated two guys already from the club but I haven't met a significant other yet.

I like Events and Adventures. It's exactly what I was looking for. We did a Georgetown Loop, which is a train here and a mine tour that went with up in an old silver mine. That was fun. We've done some campfire kind of stuff at a local fall festival at a farm. There have been movies. There have been all kinds of sporting stuff, like volleyball, wallyball, and pickleball. Some of it are book clubs, brunch, and different kinds of adventurous cultural eating. It still feels awkward to me right now. But I feel that will get better with time.

Once I arrived, meeting people for the first time, I was doing that dance of getting to know everyone. I felt out of place ‘cause I was anticipating something more than what it was. But the people have been nice. We did dinner night and a re-acting of a murder mystery. I attended bubble soccer. I also did 20s and 30s mingle night and a pub crawl. We did a picnic during the foliage change. I thought it'd be interesting to go to the mountains before winter. I thought it was gonna be mediocre but that was a very fun experience, not just ‘cause of the people, but also the experience itself of going through the scenic way. I’m glad that I went.

I have done the camping. I also went to the Palisade Wine Tasting one they had last weekend. And I've been to a couple of other big parties and enjoyed all of them and had fun. If you want to make friends or even possibly meet someone or just want things to do, join Events and Adventures. I talk about it all the time at work.

If you don’t have a busy schedule and you just want to meet new people, I would recommend Events and Adventures. But there’s not really many people my age, and it’s majority women that attend the events. So, for the purpose that I initially signed up for, I wouldn’t recommend it. But if you just want to meet people and have a good time and go to random activities, I would. Events and Adventures is doing a bit more events. It’s still fun.

I found it appealing that there was an event every single day and I could choose one and do anything I wanted to do with the group. It was a short and sweet process to do so. I've gone on a camping trip at Buena Vista as well as wallyball and mini golf events. Those are my favorites. The hosts have been welcoming every single time.

What I didn't like was that they were weird about the price thing. They didn't say anything about what it was upfront. To find out the pricing, I had to engage with someone. The interaction was fine, but it was a "High pressure to close the deal that day" kind of thing. I really couldn't afford it. But the deals kept getting better. Because the deal got so good is what ultimately made me join. The pinnacle example is that one of the events was to go to a zoo. There was free admission to the zoo but there is a suggested donation of $5. It was a good idea, so I did it.

It was a little nerve-wracking to go to an event in the beginning. But now, it's like, “Here I am. I'm showing up.” I usually do the volleyball event and I like that.

I went on a hike and we left 45 minutes late. I’m not a morning person. I was really excited to wake up early and we were just sitting and soaking in the sun for 45 minutes. It was a really big disappointment for my very first meeting. I invited a male guest because both of us had been single for a while. Because he was male, I was almost ignored during the hike. Everybody thought we were dating. Then we went to a food festival and we had the same assumptions made. I spent more money than I should have but it was a good time.

I've been to at least a handful of events. Ax throwing was pretty fun. I've made friends in the sense that I recognize people when I go to places now, but not in the sense that I have their numbers and have talked to them outside of Events and Adventures.

Lots of cool events. It's great that you can kind of pick and choose what you want to do. I'm a hiker, so I would enjoy anything outdoors. All the outdoor activities, so far, have been cool. Tiki Tuesdays are cool as well. The hiking and the outdoor and physical aspect is what I enjoy the most. The pickleball in Westminster was great. It was high-energy, good group of people. Two hours is the right amount of time. Events and Adventures did a good job. Interactions are good. It's neat because there are some people that are there for more of a social club. So, it's a bit for everyone.
