When installing new subscription and entering validation code it showed that code was already in use. Dan was excellent in resolving problem. Had to access my screen to see what was actually happening. Fixed issue quickly.

Called today regarding a message saying my Internet Security Suite had expired. Lauri had the problem fixed for me with 5 seconds since a simple refresh was all that was needed. This was the second time I called within two weeks and got prompt results.

My laptop was not taking my activation code. He fixed it in one minute. He was very nice and professional with the respect in his approach to my situation. Very helpful and took care of any concerns or questions. He said I would receive an email explaining our conversation and the contract renewal. We took care of the initial problem and waited 3 additional days and the renewal was processed.

I called regarding my rebate, which I never received. I spoke with Lori. Even though it was a while since I sent in the rebate request, Lori was able to help me and resolve my issue by the end of the day. I will be receiving my rebate shortly. When I tried to scan my PC I got an error message that my program was not being supported any longer. I contacted Staples and they connected me with Total Defense Customer Support. I spoke with Lori and in 5 minutes she looked me up and sent me the link to update my system. I am now up and running and fully functional. Your Team Rocks.*****

I had purchased a new computer. I wanted to add my subscription anti-virus to this computer. As there was no subscription available on my account, I contacted online support, through my website account. The support soon fixed the issue, and now my new computer is protected. Because Microsoft put a block on my computer, I could not activate my renewal. My computer is about 3 years old - not a newly purchased one. This was a new issue. Laurie was a great help. The first person (Carl?) who I tried to work with had no patience and was rude. He knew I am elderly and not very computer educated, so I requested to work with someone else.

Lorie did an excellent job answering all of my questions. Very professional and pleasant experience. She gave me the all important peace of mind. The information she gave me was so very important to me because I had had a spam call that I was worried about and she walked me through how there was nothing to worry about and then my cell phone and home computer were both secure.

I had 2 issues when updating this year - lost license key and a glitch during install. Both issue we resolved very quickly via email contacts. Carlos ** got my license key to me, and Laurie ** provided software links to fix my install problem, and corrected my device list. Each issue was resolved in less than an hour. Good support is very important to me, and your staff came through with flying colors. Thank you!

I received an email stating that my rebate would be declined, because I sent a copy of my product UPC instead of the original. That was a mistake on my part and was prepared to resubmit my rebate. However, after a quick call with Lori **, with Total Defense, she was able to pull up my account, verify that I am indeed using this product, and offered to override the decline. She kept me from having to mail all of the required documentation a second time, and wait longer for my rebate. I very much appreciated this as I dreaded having to redo it all and wait longer. She was very polite, friendly, professional, and helped me resolve my issue right away. I would recommend Total Defense to anyone looking for a security program for their electronics. And while I am a new user, I have been impressed thus far with the program and the level of security it brings.

Virus protection was outdated. I had no idea how to respond to the error message which was popping up constantly on my computer. Lori ** baby stepped me through the process to uninstall and reinstall. Very patient and competent! The updated protection is up and running now.

Rang Total Defense when Digital River sent an email of my subscription renewal failure. I changed credit cards earlier in 2020 and updated my details online with Total Defense but did not realise that digital river needed to be done separately. Daniel ** efficiently corrected the problem and manually updated my renewal for antivirus. Have been a happy customer of TD for some time now. Pity that Australia is 13 hours ahead and TD is not contactable locally in real time. Thanks Ron **.

Lori ** is a star! Had a lot of issues installing. Not only did she help with the purchase and helped us get a great deal, she walked me and my elderly parents through the process. She was extremely patient, apologized for my troubles. She contacted the tech department on our behalf and made us feel she really cared. The process was less frustrating because of her. She stayed on the phone with us for a very long time to make sure it was working properly. I've never had a more pleasant customer service experience.

I had previously successfully downloaded my existing subscription to a new laptop but after 30 days it expired with the erroneous message "Your free trial has expired". No matter what I tried the product would not re-activate on my laptop so I reached out to your Support Team for help. Larry ** took me through a couple of troubleshooting remedies which didn't resolve the issue. But then he had the idea to remove some older devices which were apparently taking up all the available nodes - and that worked! Thanks again Larry!

Every previous contact with Total Defense help has been positive as was this one. Lori directed me immediately to a help page to handle my issue - which it did. (The issue could have been avoided by a 'Remove device' button onscreen alongside the 'Add Device'!)

I just wanted to say that I was very pleased with the speed in which your customer service answered the phone and the way your customer service Rep Laurie ** handled my problem. I ordered the wrong product upon renewal and she was able to get me set up with the right product. She also got me a refund on the mistake I made. In addition, I also told her that I have never had a product like this work so well and without any problems for a whole year. I renewed our Unlimited Internet Security subscription and the application on the computers updated okay BUT when I looked at the mobile phones they requested an activation code and would not accept the one from our subscription. I then contacted Support via email and Lori ** replied with a solution that worked wonders. Pass on my thanks to Lori for a great job.

The representative gave clear and concise information. I called after hours so I decided to email to gain a refund on a charge I thought was related to home security. The rep clarified the charged origin and explained the benefits. I ultimately ended up keeping the charge and service.

The Total Defense Internet Security Suite on my PC operates quietly in the background so I rarely have to interact with it, other than look at scan reports. When a problem recently appeared due to a Windows OS update I was able to get timely assistance from the Total Defense Support team. The problem was resolved and also an issue with my subscription account, of which I wasn't aware, was also fixed. It's reassuring to know that Total Defense provide support for their products that is easily accessible and effective.

My Total Defense app works great. However, my husband had problems with his. My husband's front page icon of Total Defense had a wrench. Our subscription renewed January 7th, but Franklin could not open the program on his computer. Lori advised my husband's app needed updating and sent us a link. Voila! Easy Peasy - Problem solved. A couple of nights ago, after a scheduled virus scan, I was getting pop-ups from a different antivirus product that would not go away. I'm a long term user of Total Defense ~ mainly because of superior customer service, recognising there are other suppliers with bells and whistles I don't need, but this product just performs and meets all my expectations. My issue was an upgrade of software during renewal of my multi use license, for some reason a conflict prevented Windows software from deleting my old version, a few emails back and forth and Lori and team had my issue resolved and the new update installed and running smoothly. I purchased a new year of Premium Internet Security, however, my software still expired and I was without protection. But after emailing support@totaldefense.com they got right back to me with simple instructions on what to do. Voila! I'm back up and running. And they even responded on New Year's Day!

I'm one of the now most likely few customers still left who has gone through a life with first "VET" Anti software, by the reason of it was an Australian product. (I live just outside Melbourne, Aus.), so wanted to use a local product. Then as it became "CA" stuck to that, and now as "Total Defense" and I'm still here. Several times those products have helped keeping my computers safe and healthy, and a couple of times when something has gone astray in various ways, a quick request to Customer assistance has been quick and effective. I received a response to my situation almost immediately. Once I took the steps described to me, all went well. The support technician was extremely helpful. I kept getting a box that said I needed an activation code. Actually, I did not need an activation code. I just needed to follow the instructions on the proper way to download the installation file.

Daniel was very helpful and hold time was also very short. He directed me on how to install the program in my computer. I for some reason thought I already had the program installed. Daniel also directed me on how to get rid of files that were not needed in order for the app to get installed. Excellent customer service and really nice!

I have used Total Defense since before it was called Total Defense, back when it was called CA. I have also used most of the major antivirus software, like Mcafee and Norton, and Total Defense is superior by far. It has continued to work flawlessly on my various PCs. You never know it's there until it pops up to warn about a threat. Typically the only time I have needed tech support is to take care of licensing issues, at those infrequent times, the support has been excellent, friendly and fast, including this time. I recommend this product every chance I get.

My Total Defense scan was stopping mid-scan so I decided to look for a software update. I found the update and downloaded it but the new software required my activation code. Lori ** at TD sent me an article that was helpful to re-sync my account. I followed it, it worked, then scanned my PC and all was good.

I had difficulty reinstalling Total Defense on my desktop, I downloaded the anti-virus software from the wrong site and was unable to activate it, being a Mediacom customer I contacted support at Total Defense and Daniel sent me the correct link I downloaded it and everything is now working correctly. TD representative responded cordially to my issue and resolved it in an expeditious manner. The coverage was reinstated and I was able to immediately run a full scan of my system. I am now aware that a system update of my operating system was the root of the issue.

I had always had excellent service and response from Total Defense, however I have disposed of all my old Windows computers and needed to cancel my subscription. I had no record of the original purchase documentation or invoices. Customer Service can be a bit of a minefield when dealing with someone half the world away on email and it's not made any easier by being in the middle of a pandemic. Using the absolute minimum of information Laurie ** was able to find my account, shut it down and arrange a refund within minutes. Highly recommended.

I spoke with Laurie ** about my confusion with renewing Total Defense, Staples Virus Shield Plus and McAfee. Laurie explained that all 3 may have been installed by Staples at one time, but subscriptions didn't need to be renewed together. So I tried to renew Total Defense alone, and it didn't seem to be working properly. I called again and worked with another Representative who was as nice as Laurie and walked me through installation on my desktop and laptop computers. Both Representatives get the full 5 star rating for their help and guidance.

Lori initially replied and asked for further information, which was supplied, unfortunately she failed to respond to any further emails, 3 in total. I then tried again and got Larry, Larry was excellent. You need more people like Larry, I was very disappointed with Lori, she just stopped responding. I only heard from her again once Larry had fixed the issue.

I was very happy with customer service I received. Customer service rep. Lori ** walked me through the whole process and her attention of detail plus patience with me gave me positive results. I been using Total Defense for many years and have it set with auto renewal so I could remain protected even if I forget to renew. I pay the bills in my house while the rest of the family has more computer knowledge and I had no idea how to sync my laptop to update the renewal without having to go to the kids or wife for instructions. It feels good knowing they think I did it on my own. (let's keep that a secret)

I had an issue where my subscription had apparently not auto renewed. I do not have a PC or laptop at the moment and just a 5 year old Samsung android phone with your app on it. It just kept telling me my subscription had expired and could not use the app to scan the phone. A most helpful Larry ** confirmed my subscription had renewed and took me very kindly and carefully through steps to remove and download the app in order to refresh things. Am now up and running and couldn't thank Larry enough for all his help and patience. God bless you Larry from the U.K.! ☺

I was getting notifications that my Antivirus subscription had expired and needed to be updated. I made numerous attempts to do this on my own, but to no avail. I finally reached out to Technical Help and got in contact with Lori. WOW!, what a tremendous help she was. I was getting quite frustrated over the whole process, but she guided me all the way through to the completion. I now have a new updated antivirus subscription - that works!! I have used Total Defense anti-virus for 9 years now and my computers have never had their security compromised so I think it's a good product. My only gripe is that for the last two years I've had all sorts of problems with the renewal process. Each time my Total Defense software has been corrupted while trying to install the new subscription and updates. The only way of fixing it is to have Total Defense support send me a cleanup tool so I can take the existing software off my machine and then I have to download my updated subscription directly from my Total Defense account. I am in Australia so perhaps my problems are caused by downloading outside the US? Anyway, both times it has caused me a lot of wasted time and inconvenience. So much so now, that I am tempted to switch to a different antivirus software next year. I would like to point out that the support team have been nothing but helpful in solving the problem both times.
