Lori was so nice & professional. She called me by name and explained to me that my card I had on automatic renewal was processed. I explained to her I keep the minimum in that account and it zeroed my balance. I was embarrassed but she handled it so nice. "Give me one minute and I will take care of it," so she did the refund and then politely asked me for my new card. Please tell her thank you for me.

I have problems with the time it takes for new Total Defense updates to be downloaded to my computer. I sent and email to total defense and Larry responded trying to determine why this was happening. He quickly gave me some suggestions and even went as far as to get the engineering team to evaluate the files from my computer trying to help. I have followed the recommendations and have updated my total defense version and will evaluate what happens going forward. Larry and the service he provided was amazing. You don’t find this kind of service and care often these days! Give Larry a raise! He deserves it! Thank so much!

Problem with downloading Python libraries. The old TD Suite was interfering with registry path in Windows. I contacted the hep desk. The response was great. I received a solution very promptly and it worked. I am very please with the way this was handled. Many times when one subscribes to software product licenses online one gets the feeling, when asking for help, you are a burden to them. This was not my experience with you guys, I felt I was treated with respect. Thank you.

Lori personally gets 5 stars but I’m not to happy with the program as whole because as a consumer I feel the product is not ensuring the proper protection on my computer. I would like to know that tech support actually helps out but I don’t always feel that is the case with Total Defense. However, since this is the only viable company which offers a decent price, I decide to try it again for another year.

Trying to download Total Defense to a new laptop. I spoke with Lori & Carlos today. They were both very courteous & very professional. Also very helpful. As Carlos pointed out total defense cannot be loaded onto a Chromebook. We were however quite pleased with total defense while using it on our HP.

2 components of Essential Anti-Virus suddenly stopped working. Every time I tried to do either a custom scan or an exclusion the program looked like it was going to work, it cleared the page, a blue circle started spinning and then it just shut down. I never got to the stage of telling the program which file(s) I want to scan or which folder I want to exclude. I did not get any error messages!
Emails to TD support were answered immediately by Ms ** with suggestions to solve the problem (complete with TD URL's to obtain necessary files). When they didn't work she arranged for a technician, Dan, to talk to me directly by phone. He thought that it was a MS problem with an incomplete or faulty update and arranged for TD to a remote connection the next day so they could confirm. Coincidentally MS did an unscheduled update that evening and afterwards the problem disappeared. Problem solved! Obviously MS at fault again. Most impressed by the top notch service, which is something I have come to expect from TD.
Glad we were able to assist. Prompt and accurate resolution with friendly technical support specialists, is exactly what we strive for, and we are extremely grateful for such positive feedback.

I had mailed in my rebate and was contacted because I needed to provide my sales receipt and apparently the store where I bought the 2 laptops and Total Defense protection failed to install the program. I submitted my sales receipt and was later emailed that I had to install the protection. I fell ill and when I was able to install the software I reached out and was amazed how fast and considerate the girl was who helped me. She immediately sent over my rebate to be be processed which I am in dire need of during this horrible time. I’m in NYC and greatly affected by the pandemic. These associates were super nice and extremely helpful!!

It took few couple of attempts to resolve my issue but communication was prompt and professional. The helpline hours aren't very convenient for an Australian customer (11pm - 8am AEST!), but this is made up for the fact that staff are always friendly and responsive both on the phone and through email. Very happy with the experience, will definitely continue to use the product!

I recently had a problem with recording additional devices (computers) and updating our account to reflect our current situation. I emailed Customer Support and was responded to very quickly by Lori ** (Director Support Services) and provided with excellent directions on how to delete / add devices and change product descriptions. I knew my protection was up for renewal but my card MC number had changed. So I had gone to the directly website to renew. Then I had gotten a notice saying that my protection was running out in 2 days. I thought I had renewed it. I called and talked to Carlos. He looked up all my information. I have automatic renewal and I had purchased another program by mistake. He immediately refunded the 2nd program, made sure all my information was correct and that my coverage would continue without any problems. And if I had any issues, all I had to do was call and they would help me take care of it. He was totally helpful and so pleasant and nice helping understand what I had done. I would do business with him any time. He is a outstanding employee.

Had several issues when renewing and reinstalling the TD AV program. Not sure why the procedure for updating the renewal should involve so many steps. However the support team was helpful in resolving the issues. Unfortunately due to the time difference between US and Australia it was not possible to have a phone conversation but the email response was satisfactory. The Technical support team was quite helpful. Special thanks to Lori ** for her help.

I talked with Lori ** on chat to deactivate one computer and activate another. She did it very quickly. I then asked if she could rename our devices so I could track them easier, and she said she could not but I could, and she showed me how. I then asked why the 3rd device did not show up and she told me how to make that active too. Very helpful and quickly solved all my issues. Thank you!

I refuse to use any other antivirus or pc protection. Total Defense gives me complete confidence. I do a lot of internet work. I even fired IT company and put Total Defense on my work computer. Get rid of all the gimmick ones and get Total Defense today. You will not be sorry! Worth every dollar.

When trying to download the program all I would get is a blank screen. Mediacom keep telling me the problem was at your end. After working with Lori ** she discovered that mediacom never sent code to you. After many call we were able to get mediacom to realize they were the problem. Lori was always looking to see were the problem was. I was very pleased with your response and would recommend your services to others. I sent a question to Total Defense about deactivating a duplicated computer. This was a Sunday night at about 7 PM. I received a response 10 minutes later from Larry **. That just doesn't happen very often in today's world. I have had several occasions in the past to contact Total Defense (I have used this software back from the time it was California Anti Virus) and have found the response time to be excellent and whatever issue I had was resolved.

When to option to do a full scan and turn off the computer was taken out I emailed Total Defense. I received a personal reply and a follow up. I was advised that other users had made a similar comment. Total Defense issued a new version with the option once more available. I received a message from Lori ** advising me the update had been made and a link to download the new version. I am a long time satisfied customer and rely on Total Defense. Keep up the good work.

I updated my credit card details some time before renewal was due. That may have created a problem but it shouldn't have. Renewal time arrived and I received an email to say that automatic renewal had failed. Always that dreaded "Notification only" "Do not reply" email raises the stress level. So often an email to a business results in an automated reply which does not address the issue let alone solve it. I was not at all confident about receiving help from Total Defense. I was wrong. Larry ** answered my call for help. A saga commenced of problems and attempted resolutions until finally an uninstall solved all the issues. Renewed subscription not showing up. My computer kept sending me a message that my security was out of date. I placed an order to renew it and the message kept popping up. I then placed another order a few months later and the message once again continued to pop up. I called to see why my computer has not noticed my new subscription. I was immediately helped and refunded the 2nd subscription cost and informed how to log on so the message will no longer appear.

I chatted online with Lori. She was excellent at helping me with my issue of not being able to download the Total Defense protection. We tried several ways and three different browsers but nothing worked. Lori had to write a download for me so that I was able to access the download. Once she did that I was able to download the software to my computer.

I am hard of hearing and didn't want someone else doing this for me so I called and got Carlos ** - told him I was hard of hearing and I I knew next to nothing about computers. He was absolutely great. Walked me through my problem and was very patient with me. It wasn't easy (for me). I was ready to give up but he stuck with me and resolved the issue. I was happy to be able to get through it with his help.

Downloaded Total Defense from my cable company. Ran a scan of my computer, liked it, the more I messed with it. I decided to buy a subscription, after purchasing. There was a hand up with activation code. Sent a request and a short while later my request was taken care of with a kind gesture on my account. I'm more than happy with Lori ** customer service!!!! I had an old suite and found that TD had put a new suite (Ultimate) on the market this year. Used your contact form to get information on making upgrade. The response to my message was very quick including advice on what steps to take. This allowed me to proceed straight away. This gave me confidence to ask another question during the process of downloading the Ultimate suite. I worked out the problem before Lori ** (NY) needed to give me an answer. Lori followed me with messages to check all was going OK. That exchange of messages was a good backup. Now I have an updated security system which overnight has got on with the job. Success. With the current digital dangers I do not want to have my systems compromised. Thank you.

Helped me eliminate a duplicate computer on my account. Lori ** was a very good customer service representative. She helped me solve my problem pretty quickly and with great care. She was very helpful and took the time to find a solution to my problem. There was a slight delay but it was not a problem and she apologized for the delay..

Hi, I couldn't install Total Defense on my Android phone. I had previously dealt with Lori ** and found her to be courteous, polite, understanding and extremely helpful. I reached out to Lori over Easter not expecting a response. Lori responded immediately and after many emails we worked out there was orphaned data held by the old email and account that wasn't dealt with when the new account was created. It is now resolved. Thank you Lori, you are a wonderful woman and an asset to your company.

Was unsure if a prompt to renew was malware or valid, so I called the Total Defense renewal line. Daniel immediately put my mind at ease and patiently walked me through the renewal process. He helped me discover that one of our devices had somehow had its Total Defense completely deleted, leaving me with only a basic free product (probably a house guest's doing). He also advised me how to remove annoying and persistent pop ups that had plagued us for a long time. I thought I could do the download by myself, but when I was was unsure of a step, I replied to Daniel's download info. He promptly sent me the solution. So nice to have a US based support person who was both kind and patient. Definitely happy with our many years as a Total Defense customer.

Lori's service was outstanding. I was calling regarding an email I received which stated that my rebate request would not be approved. I did not even get an opportunity to explain the situation to Lori. She immediately assured me that everything would be fine. She told me that she was going to submit an email to the relevant department requesting a waiver of the stipulated documents. Full scan problem. When starting a scan another scan was already running preventing a scan to be carried out. Pity I had to re-install Total Defense and go through all of this nonsense again. As well as the activation code is not accepted as I am on my limit of machines using your product. Why does uninstalling not erase the machine of my account automatically? I had some original trouble when it came my rebate not being approved after I sent in the missing requirements nothing was updated. Lori ** has been extremely helpful in working through a couple of issues in relation my TotalDefense annual subscriptions, where I was experiencing difficulty in maintaining the subscription on a 3rd PC. As I live in Australia the exchanges have occurred via email, which given the different time zones, means I do not receive a response until the following day. The instructions provided by Lori are always clear and concise and can be easily followed and Lori always states "Please come back to me if you require further assistance". I am now successfully running the product on 3 PCs thanks to Lori and her dedication to resolving my issues. I give Lori 5 stars.

Lori helped me when I realized the new computer that I bought in December has a security protection package that I bought at the same time. Experienced problems with PC tune Up that was installed at Staples as part of Windows upgrade to Windows 10, Daniel was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Total Defense did not finish scanning for three days. I found your 1-877 number and Taylor ** was extremely helpful. He diagnosed the problem and corrected it in a matter of a few minutes. I was very happy with the outcome. Also, I was surprised and pleased that I didn't have to experience a thirty or forty-five minute wait time for a support person to answer.

Computer not installing downloads. Extremely happy with my experience today. My problem was fixed really quickly. Taylor is always most obliging and willing to help. Not so happy that I seem to encounter problems fairly frequently. However the most important thing is that someone is just either an email or a phone call away.

Taylor really helped me out after putting windows 10 on my old computer, I opted out of 10 at first because I liked my old program but lost everything. Totally helpful and quickly resolved my issue! Was having an issue for a few days saying I had malware detected. I did several scans with no resolution. One quick phone call to tech support and my issue was resolved. I should have done it sooner. The pop up was annoying for longer than it took to fix!

I called in for help and customer service was able to fix my problem in less than 5 minutes. Their representative took control of my Mac through screen share, they were able to correct the issue with my Mac and download the software quickly.

I encountered a problem with the BACK UP feature in Total Defense. Dan provided EXCELLENT service in helping me correct this issue. He also deleted a few files that were causing my computer to run slow. Dan escalated the issue to a higher level of technical support; they were able to uncover the problem, ran some tests on their end, and when Dan returned, he was able to resolve the issue in a timely manner....KUDOS to DAN!

I wanted to install an additional copy of my Total Defense Internet Suite on my mother's computer, but I could not totally uninstall Norton Antivirus on her machine. A Total Defense technician, through remote access, was able to resolve the installation conflict and get Internet Suite up and running. He did a great job.
