Lori was able to provide me with assistance when I reached out by telephone. My rebate was not processed because I may have indicated the wrong email address. She double checked on her end to see if it processed but - she determined that it did not appear. She asked me to send her an email + copies of my receipt and bar code from the back of the total defense package. She was able to assist.

Very pleasant person to deal with. Now guys just how much can a person say about updating a year on a charge card but to make the count I will say if I didn't like the security coverage or the customer service reps. I would have switch to another company. There you go - 50 words.

Laurie was great. She gave me an option of reinstalling my software, but recommended I wait a day to see if the issue would resolve, which it did in a couple of hours. I was happy to have an option, but even more happy issue was resolved without further action on my part. I love that I always get to talk to a real person when I have issues (this was only my second in several years a customer).

I emailed Total Defense because it seemed my PC was not protected, even though I have a paid subscription. I got a reply within 24 with steps on how to deauthorize and then reinstall the TD service. This was successful. Great work everyone.

Then received at least 40 email notices to renew - no one sorted matter until I found Larry ** at Total Defense Support who did...

Conflict between two product downloads - Premium Internet Security and PC Tune up. Required matching versions to operate correctly. Lori has been excellent with instructions and fast response to resolve this problem. Highly recommend Total Defense, have used their products since the mid 2000.

For reasons I don't fully understand renewal of my software subscription did not process as expected. I was put in touch with Larry ** Support who gave me extensive support over several days finally rectifying the problem. I could not fault the service provided by Larry despite the difficulties in dealing internationally.

Hi. I am a regular customer of Total Defense but when I visited my site it showed up as 'malware'. So I contacted TotalDefense and they took the time to look into it, remove my site from their blacklist and it all works and loads fine now. Thanks heaps for helping out with this. Much appreciated.

I have used Total Defense for years. This time the "renew" was for 10 devices at $99, which I did not need for my one laptop. I ordered the Total Defense product for $29.99 and thought I was all set (but I hadn't completed the install). I ignored the repeated notices to renew. Last night, with my subscription ending today, I was given two choices; renew or let Windows take over. I didn't want to do either, but didn't know how to proceed. I called TD and got Carlos **. He identified the problem, gave me instructions, and emailed instructions also.
When I got stuck on the procedure (I'm really not very good at this) I called back and got Carlos again. He gave me directions and I was able to complete the install of the new program and the uninstall of the old. Carlos was both friendly and professional throughout. I appreciated his patience and complete lack of technical snobbery. I've had frustrating experiences with customer service people that I could not understand. Carlos was the best I've ever encountered. Thank you, Total Defense, for great products and great people to help in time of need.

My experience with Total Defense turned out to be very good. I wasn't quite sure what to do (I'm computer semi-literate), but Lori ** at Customer Service was VERY helpful, I installed Total Defense on my laptop, emailed a copy of the sales slip from P.C. Richard and the barcode from the Total Defense package, and received my rebate a few weeks later. Again, many thanks to Lori, who was very patient and helpful.

I asked on chat if I could get the Premium software, which I believe was being offered for a lower price. Anyway, I think that your chat center was closed, so I renewed my subscription by that night. Hours later, Lori ** offered to give me a refund and she wrote that she would honor what I was asking for. I wrote back to her and told her that I had already renewed my Total Defense Internet Security Suite. She wrote back and gave me a $10 refund which was processed quite quickly. That is the type of service that I find to be appealing and quite frankly, rare these days. Lori is a special and helpful person to do what she did. She's a keeper for this company for sure.

For an unknown reason, I had downloaded and installed the wrong software package on my PC. As a consequence, I did not get updates and it was not possible to activate the installed software suite. After several unsuccessful attempts I decided to phone to the help line. After app 1 minute I got Lori ** on the line. It costed her approximately 2 minutes of conversation to pinpoint the problem (wrongly installed software package).
Then it went fast:
* she has sent me a link to an uninstall package* a procedure for the installation of the correct SW.
With this clear procedure, I could install the correct SW. I am also very pleased with the follow-up and the aftercare of the incident.

I have been a TD client for 5 years with my PC, never a problem. I called TD for help installing TD on my husband's new laptop. I received instructions and a link from Laurie, installed it easily. (I am not very skilled at all on computers). Over the weekend my PC became excruciatingly slow, appeared to have a virus. My TD showed a red warning stating my virus scanner was not working, I was not protected. I called and spoke with Laurie again. After explaining what was happening, she said she needed to talk to her supervisor. She was trying to contact her while I was on the phone. I requested the info be emailed as I had an appt to go to.
When I returned, the instructions and links to uninstall, use the cleaner, and reinstall were waiting for me. Instructions were concise and clear. My computer was barely cooperating but I got it done. Laurie was quick to check with her supervisor instead of telling me to try this or try that like IT people at other companies. She was clear and easy to understand when she spoke (unlike IT at other companies). The surprised look on my husband's face when I said I fixed it, made my day. Excellent service.

I got a new laptop about a month ago. Then I called Total Defense to switch it to the new one. An icon for Total Defense was put on my screen. Today I just happened to click it and it said I wasn't covered, which surprised me. The technician got that fixed and now I am covered.

I initially requested a refund due to not having the funds at the moment to go through with the payment of Total Defense. I sent an email regarding the issue and explained my situation and in a quick matter of time they responded and offered me a discount that I appreciate so very much as I honestly was planning on purchasing the program again once I had the fund to do so. My Antivirus was due for renewal and was paid for approx 4 days prior to expiring. I had problems renewing/activating the license - didn't initially receive a PRODUCT Code and when I finally received one, it wasn't being accepted. Received the error that it was not valid. I sent numerous emails/requests for assistance without success. I was without AntiVirus protection for 2 days before Lori ** (Total Defense Support) picked up the issue and resolved it for me. She was very helpful and was the only person who assisted me. Was very disappointed with the other Total Defense contacts and was about to cancel my subscription and go with another company until Lori came along and resolved it for me.

I have been using this program for many years and I'm very happy with it. Any viruses that try to come through get stopped immediately. UPDATED 09/18/2020: I have been waiting 1 month for my rebate, Lori ** told me I would have a refund in 7-14 days, that was August 25. Today is September 18, still waiting. Not good.

I recently renewed my subscription, but was then getting messages that my protection was over. Strangely enough, your system does not tell me what to do after I have renewed my subscription. This is a bit of an oversight. So... I sent back a message asking for help - call it a complaint. Lori was great - quick, helpful, easily understood what help I was asking for on two separate issues. I did have to prompt a question that had an unexpected answer, but it was of a technical nature. I was unsuccessful trying to reveal the product activation code for a renewed credit card. Went in through my account in the TD Centre on my computer and kept getting a screen with an arrow that required me to "peel back the arrow to reveal code". Unsuccessful and very frustrating. Your operator, Lori **, realised that I was in the wrong place and gave me some simple steps to follow and they worked. I am an older person and not tech savvy so get very anxious when things don't work. Lori was very reassuring and resolved the issue in a very simple and effective manner. Many thanks.

I called about my renewal subscription that was on auto renewal. The cost was twenty dollars more than the offering on their website for subscriptions. I asked if they would honor the price which they did. Lori ** was kind and pleasant. She explained that the lower cost was for new subscribers but did offer me the lower price since I am a long standing customer. Great product, great customer service. Lori is the best! I was frustrated due to your earlier Tech, Dan telling us repeatedly that he solved our problem when he never did, plus he had a better than you attitude. My wife and I both sensed the same thing. Lori however sense my frustration but always stayed focused on the issue and kept working to resolve our problem, and it was not easy. She kept asking objective questions and working toward the resolve. She actually needed to take over our computer to finally resolve the problem and reinstall "Total Defense" in our computer. At no time did she give in or try to just state it will be okay later like Dan did. Lori continued with questions and a very professional objective inquiry until she KNEW my problem was actually fixed and our NEW computer was once again up and running awesome. Shout out to Lori! I called to ask about any incentives for renewing my subscription that is scheduled to expire 7/31. Lori ** was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. She answered questions I had about the company and services, including backup, which I was not aware of. I had signed up for Lifelock in January, with the intention of switching to Norton's protection for my computer when my Total Defense subscription expired. However, my experience with the bundled Norton/Lifelock product and service team was frustrating, in contrast to the experiences that I have had when calling in to Total Defense, which were always positive. Lori's clarity and professionalism reinforced my decision to stick with Total Defense. Thank you!

Cannot activate Total Defense on another PC. Lori **s quick reply and advice was fantastic as it solved my problem within 24 hours. The service I received would make me definitely recommend this product to my friends. I have been using this product since it came out as VET and cannot fault it for stopping viruses.

This morning (7/15/20) I called the customer service number as the Total Defense program on my daughters laptop stopped working. I had the pleasure of talking with Lori **. Lori identified the issue immediately and resolved the issue. She then walked me through connecting the program to our laptop (I am 53 and not computer savey at all). The entire process was under 5 minutes. A true professional. If I knew she lived near my place of business I would try to hire this woman. Thanks Total Defense and Ms. **.

Reported a problem and they responded very quickly with an accurate understanding of problem and a way to resolve. I had a similar experience two years ago and received similar level of support. There was a part of the problem that was not answered but it was only minor and probably was not significant anyway.

I received the new version of Total Defense today and downloaded the app with no problems at all, very user friendly as was the previous version. With the new app of course all previous info was cleared. I called total defense for help with the backup portion as I did not want to do a total back up but just certain files. Lori answered the call in a total professionally yet with a friendly helpful greeting. She listened carefully to my request and guided me "quickly" through the sequence I needed with helpful tips along the way. Very impressive. I do like the Total Defense product and feel safe (as one can) with having the program. I do appreciate talking with a person and to a super technical support professional like Lori. Keep up the great customer service and your excellent security product.

My renewal payment was made via my telephone contact. Since my computer was not working so I was unable to renew online. I am grateful that my one year renewal resolved in a timely manner. If the renewal had not been resolved the account may have lapsed.

What a nice lady. The experience I had with Lori ** was great. She knew her business and was very courteous and understanding of my situation. I'm not too familiar with the computer and she put me at ease and make going through the procedure very easy. She did not make me feel uncomfortable with my limited knowledge of the computer.
She made a trying time for me very easy very smart lady a great deal of understanding and patience involving my problem. She took care of it really fast and I must say in all honesty she is an asset to your company. My annual reminder request specified an amount in Australian Dollars, however when the transaction was processed it appeared that it had been done so using American Dollars, which is more. I queried this with the billing company (Digital River) who directed me to Total Defense Support). The issue was acknowledged promptly by Lori **, who then initiated action to rectify the situation, and I have already received a refund notice. This was most heartening as it has saved me worrying furthermore about the issue. Thanks to all concerned, notably Lori.

I bought your antivirus as ours previous version of the antivirus was expiring. Lori was great with resolving the issue. The software was not letting me renew. She got engineering involved and after calling me back the issue was resolved.

Sad but true, I can't remember the last time I actually got SUPPORT from any place or website, like today. She was extremely helpful, on point, waited with me through switching out of things I didn't know, and the best part, is she has a personality! I didn't want to disconnect on her from being frustrated, granted it was over chat so I couldn't hear her voice, but I didn't get even the slightest impression that I was putting her out by having her help me. We joked and laugh, with everything going on in the world, especially right now.. It was good to laugh & smile while getting the help I needed. She was great!!! I have confidence in Total Defense, after chatting with her. I can only hope that if for whatever reason I might need help again, I get her again. She's the SUPPORT that every customer needs.

I called about how to send my rebate and it was a pleasure to speak to Dan. He asked me to email some information and call back I emailed it. He swiftly took care of processing the rebate although it was almost 6pm. The other person I spoke to was also very pleasant and told Dan I had called. I thought I would have to wait till Monday but Dan processed my paperwork immediately. Great customer service.

Home license - renewal. Very simple and intuitive product - easy to maintain! Wonderful customer service as well. You do not have to be a tech wiz to figure out - you can set it up to auto-update the virus signatures daily which is what you want (advice from a tech wiz). Thanks!

First of all had trouble for your system to accept my new credit card which I had added in before the auto renewal was processed. So I contacted TD Support and Larry ** rest my account so I could manually process the payment which I did and then to download the new upgrade. However it wouldn't do so a few emails back and forth Larry sorted it out for me. I was so happy to get it fixed and was finding it stressful as I am in Perth Western Australia and you are in the States, and Larry was helping me regardless of the time zone difference. Great service. Daniel took care of my rebate with one phone call. I was having an issue with claiming my rebate. I called in and it was taken care of, all I had to do was take a picture of my receipt and send it in.

I have been an AntiVirus customer of VET, CA, TD, since 2005. Includes TD since 2011. I find the product easy to use, and gives the protection I need. They have always updated with improved versions with new features. I have always received a prompt reply whenever I have had a problem or enquiry. In particular, since 2015 I have been helped by Lori, with patience, efficiency, and, importantly, constructive solutions. I am very satisfied with TDAV product, and the support.

Error message on computer that 'signatures are outdated'. I couldn't fix and the scans are fine otherwise but message stated spyware and virus protection were out of date and computer wasn't protected. I emailed Sunday evening and got an automatic response that it was not regular hours and someone would get back to me. Within minutes Larry responded and his advice fixed the problem right away. It probably seemed like a small thing to him, but it was a huge relief to me (who is lost if rebooting doesn't solve a problem!). Always responsive and super-helpful.

I have been using Total Defense Unlimited, and its predecessors, for about 10 years and it has always been very reliable. I have on occasion had some issues with billing because I have forgotten to update my credit card number in the auto-renew, for example, but the team are always quick to help me sort it out. I'd recommend this product.

Suddenly I received notification from Total Defense that my PCIOMG22JT was unprotected. Immediately I contacted TD customer support and in less than 24 Total Defense came with the solution to the problem. I have been a customer of TD for the last 10 years and their support have been invaluable when required.

When I tried to renew and download my DTI subscription a constant problem arose because part of the old program was not deleted. In spite of many attempts I just could not clear the old files. So finally I emailed the Help section of Total Defense. Within a few minutes I received a polite reply from one of their workers called Larry. He emailed me a link to an 'extraction' file which quickly overcame the problem. After that I could download the new subscription files and the computer was safe again. What a relief! Thank you. (But was there a problem with the original TDI program that I could not fully delete it prior to downloading the new subscription??) Benny

ReInstallation of product after renewal in Nov/Dec, 1019. Could not individually run either type of scan. Always timed out. Tried doing this over a five month period at least twice a week. Ms. Lori ** was most patience with me in resolving this issue. Have found this Virus protection service for internet accessible devices to be most inexpensive and trustworthy.

Larry told me what to try and when I had difficulty Lori made the changes and told me how to log in and set a new password. Both were pleasant and helpful. Earlier this year, I had the hard drive replaced on two computers, but I neglected to contact Total Defense prior to my annual renewal. Within approximately five minutes, Carlos sent a link that enabled me to download the protection package to each new hard drive. I could not be more satisfied with my experience.
