Laurie ** affirmed the dates of my coverage, reviewed the coverage with me, and answered questions about scams. She was personable and professional, McAfee has been trying to gain coverage by constant messaging onscreen. A scam, purporting to be Norton, tried to get a large payment. So I need assurances about my coverage.

Carlos did a wonderful job of finding the problem and sorting it out for me. He is a very professional customer service person who was able to solve my problem with a minimum of fuss. Daniel was very nice, polite, and helpful to solve my pc problem. He was knowledge and knew what to tell me to do. We had a short conversation on the old phone number for Total Defense that was scamming for credit card numbers to give me $100 for the cost of $1.99. Didn't know Total Defense changed the phone numbers frequently.

Had an issue with software not scanning. Wrote an email with screenshot of error. Received a quick reply with a solution. I can't ask for more than that. Knowing the problem was fixed in a very short time makes me feel secure and confident with not just the product, but the support behind the product. This is very important to me. Thanks again.

The person I talked to Carlos, was very helpful and set me up with a new year of defense protection for my Mac. He answered my questions and helped set the renewal back up pretty fast. He was very nice too.

I called because of the alert on my phone. Daniel was excellent and was able to address the alert and I was able to pay a creditor. He was very professional, not to mention extremely helpful! I recently renewed our Total Defense Internet Security Suite and downloaded the software as advised. The anti-virus scanner did not install properly. I have a mixed review here. The process of renewal for the last 2 years has been accompanied with problems of installation and much frustration. - Rating 2 star. Also I received information to say that the renewal had been unsuccessful when that was not the case. Then I received a confirmation to say it was successful but that I have your product installed on 3 devices when it is only on one. However, the support, help and follow up I received from Larry ** has been outstanding - 5 star. He was prompt in answering an overseas inquiry and very helpful in solutions offered. Not sure why there has been issues but maybe something for your team to look at.

I have been with Total Defense for many years and these products are exceptionally reliable. I have only have a couple issues and I am sure if I were more computer savvy I would have been able to take care of the glitch myself. I recommend this product to anyone and know you will be happy with the product and the customer service they provide.

Laurie ** was great helping me with re-loading of my software. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She also gave me some wonderful advise going forward about my computer and your software packages. I hope that I will be able to communicate with her again if I have problems in the future.

I had a problem with my yearly subscription (my fault), Lori was nice enough to help and credit my account asap. I wish all stores had customer service reps like Lori. Great support from ** when completing my recent renewal. Since then, I've twice received a message stating my payment did NOT go through, I think your computer system has a belly-ache. Larry had confirmed the payment was completed successfully but I have been sent a second notice that it hasn't.

I have used several different Defense programs over the years that have cost me a lot of time and money, above what the program cost me. Total Defense is the only one that has protected my computer completely even with my bad habits while surfing the internet. Not one time while using Total Defense have I had to call for help, it has kept my unit virus free for several years. Thank to the program and the people working there.

Lori made resetting my system so I wouldn't keep getting the membership expired notification seamlessly easy. I kept on getting the renew notification even though I purchase and upgrade to a 2 year protection plan. My call was answered promptly with no waiting time.

Old version of Total Defense was not allowing new version to load and was sitting on screen saying "Loading"--I could not get it off. Lori ** was very helpful and friendly in explaining how to correct the issue. She told me to download the new subscription. I did this, rebooted and everything now appears to be fine.

This was a really satisfying encounter, so much less stressful than many previous situations with other providers

I have got Lori twice now when I have rung up about my subscription. Both times she was very professional. Lori listens to you and explains things very clearly and precisely. She has a friendly and calm manner that puts you at ease. I would rate her as a huge asset to your business.

Helped me out a ton. Was really grateful to have that type of help. I needed help with my Total Defense rebate and it got settled really quick than I've anticipated. It was quick and easy and I thank you for the help.

Total Defense was unable to verify the license, and therefore I was unable to run the protection nor keep the app current. My first call I was promised that an email would describe removal and re-install. I was never clear on why the application had not taken place. That eMail never arrived. On my second call, Daniel ** patiently helped remove the old version, and set up the re-install with careful instructions of the next steps. The installation took quite some time, several hours. I then performed a full scan and ran an update. I think I now have a properly functioning security. A full scan seems to take about 8 hours, which may be normal, but does seem excessive. I appreciate the extra patience and time Dan pent with me, basically holding my hand, and then following up with eMail.

I called to question why I would be paying more to renew than is offered online for new customers. Lori gave my the logical explanation and offered to refund the difference without my having to ask for the discounted price, which I appreciated. She also sent me a download link to update my Total Defense. 5 Stars.

After reinstalling windows which must be done from time to time you have reinstall your Total Defense, which I truly like too you than most virus checkers .... The only issue is the software when you try to add in your serial number again it does not see your link in the software... The service person had to look in the logs to see where it was linking to to fix it correctly from a web page... so there is a error in your software for reregistering again ... Thanks again Daniel ** for all your help and knowledge of this software to fix it quickly.... NO thanks to Lori ** who tried to help but had no clue what she was doing ... and then at the end just ignored my emails and left chat so she did not have to deal with this .... My Total Defense would not update and I emailed your support. Lori ** emailed me back. She asked me what windows I was running and she suggested I use the links she provided to uninstall my version and reinstall it. I followed her instructions and it worked perfectly.

Unfortunately I do not have a printer or access to one and Larry very graciously gave me options and processed my request. Lori was very helpful. I had paid for Total Defense on 3 devices but couldn't get it connected to my laptop. We couldn't discern why. I thought it may be my laptop and took it to a technician but it still didn't work. Also I was travelling around and couldn't always get back to Lori in good time. She stayed with me during the process and was extremely patient. She kept making suggestions for what may be happening which were all helpful. I eventually took it to another technician and with the advice Lori gave me the technician and I were able to connect Total Defense anti-virus to my laptop. Having done that Lori picked up that there were old versions on my laptop and she removed those. I am very grateful to her and now feel confident to use my laptop for banking, etc.

Mr Carlos **, email was awesome; he was 3rd call & the only one that was very polite, professional & courtesy. Because of him I was able to delete the wrong stuff I loaded & able to reinstall the correct & was able back up files, even did a clean-up.

Responding to an E-mail notice that was sent reminding me credit card would soon expire. The original card was just recently canceled due to unauthorized fraud activity. New card number given and the whole experience was professionally handled by Laurie.

I requested a refund for a subscription I no longer needed and Lori ** and customer service did so in a very speedy fashion. I will return as a customer because Total Defense is obviously a very reputable company. Unfortunately that can’t be said for many internet companies out there for whatever reason. The refund was accomplished fast and easy. I was confused about the subscription auto-renewal for the mobile devices. I thought they would renew automatically. But I got messages on our mobile devices that their subscription was about to expire and they did expire. There was an 'I have a code' note on the message and when I put in my known activation codes, they were rejected. I ended up uninstalling the Total Defense app and then reinstalling it and it all came good. I don't know if I need to do that each year at renewal time or if there is a different way.

I have been a user for years now. Many times Total Defense saved me, where other antivirus programs did not! Now I wanted to use TD on my phone and tried to install the app. It was not possible here in the Netherlands. I mailed the help desk and got an answer right away, saying they would change the app so I could use it here in Europe... Now that's what I call great service. After installing it on my phone I am very happy now... and SAFE. THANKS total defense.

I run Windows 7 which resulted in a failure to update Total Defense, so I emailed for help, which was promptly supplied by Lori ** and the patch she supplied was easy to get and apply, so things are now working normally again.

Canceled autorenewal after I was notified that Total Defense was renewed. I was notified my subscription would expire on 3/13/2022. I turned on my computer and was able to download the new software, but when it came time to put in my Activation Code, I was told my subscription expired (even though my credit card was charge for another year). Needed to know when my subscription would expire and Total Defense answered me back via email very quickly. I appreciate it so much. The response time was great. I was afraid my subscription was not valid anymore and that my computer was not protected, but it was.

On Sunday 28th February 2021 we received an email advising that our annual subscription had failed to automatically renew. Approximately 2 weeks ago I updated the credit card information for my account – the new details were reflecting in my account information. When I conducted a Quick Order Lookup search using my email address and last 4 digits of my new credit card my renewal subscription could not be found. When I searched my email address and last 4 digits of my old credit card the results were displayed as order unsubmitted.

Didn't expect to be contacted after hours. Wanted to delete a credit card that was added. Later determined that PayPal was an option so needed to delete the card entered. Contact by Lori ** and she was prompt and resolved my issue.
