I could not renew from my computer, so I called for tech support. Within minutes I was connected to Lori. She took my information for payment and downloaded the software I renewed. I said thank you and hung up. I tried to perform the performance scan and am unsuccessful.

Lori helped me put my credit card payment through. I previously had a piece of information missing which prevented the payment from going through. Lori was very helpful. Thank you. I have been a happy customer of Total Defense for 4 years.

I had trouble downloading new updates when renewing my anti virus, I emailed support and got a response overnight (due to time difference) from Lori and my issues were fixed in no time. Very quick to reply and very professional service. I have used Total Defense for many years now and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent communication from Lori **. Made the whole process of signing up extremely easy. When I asked a question there was a very prompt reply detailing payment due and clear instructions of how to process it. When I communicated back, there was an immediate reply.

8–20 3–21 I received auto renewal notification. 8–20 4–21 I turned off auto renewal in my account. 9–20 3–21 I saw the auto payment pending in my account. 9–20 4–21, I spoke with LORI and she heard my needs and took care of my concern. She was able to save me as a customer.

I was having issues with my computer not registering the total defense software. I called technical support, and spoke with Lori. In about 5 to 10 minutes, she was able to get to properly register and work properly. She was courteous and professional.

A significant part of why I like Total Defense (TD) is your customer support. Dealing with people who understand me and who I can understand is a major competitive advantage owned by TD. Today, Daniel was both knowledgeable and very friendly. I would give him the highest rating for a job well done AND a customer totally satisfied. Daniel is an asset for your organization.

Lori was helpful and courteous. I was able to get a refund on a duplicate payment for our account. I appreciate the timely refund. The refund is pending and I am satisfied with the transaction and awaiting the refund to my cc account. Thanks.

Had a computer crash. Bought a new one, installed TD from my old download files (2017). It would not activate. Carlos ** fixed me up in about 10 minutes. My new computer is now protected. Great Job Carlos!!! Thank you for being there for me.

The first few attempts to pay for my subscription through my debit card failed. My bank and Visa questioned that the payment was a fraud. After speaking with my bank and Carlos at Total Defense, we resolved the issue and the payment was processed. Also, several months ago the Total Defense protection software kept hackers from getting into my bank account. For this, I am very grateful.

I had edited my Total Defense Account early is September to eliminate the auto payment, cancelling my virus protection. When I saw the charge to my VISA on Sunday, I was very frustrated and confused. I was having a problem when requesting a rebate online for the purchase of a new laptop. I wasn't sure which numbers were to be entered on the form as the instructions were to enter account number. The only numbers on the form for rebate appeared to be for "Registration". The customer care person who assisted me was very patient and understood my problem. My problem was solved and I am very happy with my experience..

Had to call support as my Anti Virus was not doing updates. Carlos quickly determined my issue and sent out instructions on how to fix it. Downloaded the clean up file and reloaded the software and all is working now. Thank you for the quick response.

I tried to update my payment information but it would not go through. So I made a Customer Care call and got Lori **. She immediately addressed my problem and that was it. Quick and Easy! The title of Customer Care is appropriate named.

Had trouble accessing my account and loading the latest software from my renewal package. Dan sent me a link to update my password and instructions to remove the download which may have been corrupted when I installed it. I reinstalled and had no further issues.

I am trying to do what they need me to do, but I cannot remember very long what I am to do next so it takes days instead of minutes sometimes. I am so sorry! If they could just set this up as they once did. But it is just not the same this time. What more information do they need? I can tell them, if I know! It was fast and seamless. Lori was great, thorough and very professional. I had no problem. I don't care for this survey, but I felt that I owed it to Lori for the prompt service. I would, however, appreciate better customer service hours or at least a chat session or some other way to get information when I need it from Total Defense customer service.

I had called customer service and I was talking to someone immediately. The agent I spoke to was friendly and very helpful. He solved my issue super fast in less than 5 minutes and made it so simple. After renewing my account I saw that I had overlooked a discount allowance. Speaking with Lori I inquired if this could still be allowed even though I had completed the transaction. Carlos ended up helping me get the right pricing for the promotion that was given me. I'm had received a promotion for 2 years for 47 bucks. When I went to purchase the price went up to 80 bucks.

Had difficulty adding C/card #. When I tried to input the number I got the notation 'Error has occurred; the same thing happened when your technical Rep. tried. The problem seemed to be with the Bank. Your Tech. Rep. asked me to use a different Card, which I did and it worked.

I had worked hard to locate a proper contact whom I should have reported my trouble. Then, an answer I received satisfactorily resolved my trouble. While, it would be much convenient to me if a local contact is available in Japan.

I would use this service again. I needed to download and install Total Defense Internet Security (Premium) on to a new computer. When I was online I noticed that it showed that my coverage had expired. Two issues were taken care of. 1. I have purchased "Total Defense Ultimate Internet Security" few days ago. I have installed it on four Windows notebooks and on three Android smartphones. The problem was that I was not able to see the Android devices in the Dashboard of "My Account". I have pointed out such a problem to Total Defense Customer Support and it has been solved in a short time by Daniel **, Customer Support Specialist. Now, everything works perfectly and I see all devices both in the dashboard of My Account and in the application. In conclusion, I can say that the product is very good and the assistance to the customer is very valuable.

I had just done a update but once completed Total Defense would not scan. Sent an email to tech support. Because of international time difference there was small delay in getting a response but the reply email told me what to do and it worked first time and solved the problem.

I sent an email for a refund and cancellation, and they responded within minutes without any complications. In the future Very, it would be good to notify people that they have an automatic renewal before charging their account because I was not prepared for it. Very helpful response team, thank you.

While tracking my rebate online, I read that it was not qualified for a rebate because I didn't provide the original UPC symbol. Therefore I called and Lori was kind enough to check for me. Your representative walked me through a few simple steps to restart the app. She was friendly and non-judgmental about my lack of skills. Very much appreciate being able to talk to a person and not a computer.

On receiving the Pop Up Advice re offer of free upgrade I didn't activate it as I had no prior advice from you that it was available and would be sent via a Pop-Up advice. Therefore, I assumed it was a scam. As a result my protection ceased. Unfortunately, the time differences make it difficult to communicate, but Lori has gone out of their way to resolve the issue without of hours assistance. This has been most appreciated. In future with changes to the software it would be wise to provide prior warning.

I was offered the chance to add antivirus protection at Brandsmart upon purchasing my laptop. I thought it was a good deal and decided to add it to my purchase (especially when considering it allows up to 10 installations). I was greatly pleased when informed of the rebate offer. When I got home I went to claim it; however I had some trouble sorting out all the information requested. Daniel ** from customer service was very helpful and attentive with all my doubts. 10/10 would recommend purchasing from Total Defense if you’re looking for an antivirus.

Techs get 10 stars! 1) Mix-up in codes: Store gave me a package from a Total Defense Premium already registered/downloaded by another customer on same day I purchased same product. 2) Lori ** and Carlos of your Tech Center both patient, professional and accurate in helping. Problem with Total Defense portal changes, exacerbated same. Numerous calls ensued. Recommend a much easier way to install product. Was using a new tablet and found info on screen confusing. Had to call for another site to show my device as it didn't show on profile/dashboard. Have installed numerous protections on computer in past; never took more than 15 mins. Will not renew this. Between store's mistake (only discovered next day when I spoke to Lori) and problems with download, spent approx 4 to 5 hours on this. But .. Kudos to Lori and Carlos for all their help. Nothing was their fault.

I am a total computer novice and Carlos did an outstanding job of addressing my problem. He was patient, thorough, communicated well and I was completely satisfied with his efforts. When he was done I not only had the defense I needed but I understood the nature of the problem - that being the way Staples loaded a program on my machine and then did not make it easy to renew the same product. If, as Carlos said, my issue would be solved if Staples had an account with you, I hope they do so as what I ran into was confusing to say the least. Great job Carlos!!!

My Autorenewal did not work so I contacted help desk, Lori was excellent, identifying the problem through the Ireland payment arrangement. Lori explained my payment details dropped off due to a change in format (I believe). This was quickly fixed which allowed me to renew my subscription and continue - customer from back when it was Vet, then Computer Associates, then Total Defense.

I purchase the Total Defense at Brandsmart and quickly completed the instructions to receive the rebate. To my surprise, it was denied due to not receiving the original UPC code. Contacted customer service with my problem and within a very short space of time, I received an email with the cleaner program to use and reinstalled the latest program. Rebooted the computer when told and the full system scan worked. I’m very happy with the fast service to solve my problem and can highly recommend Total Defense to everyone.

I recently received auto-renewal charges from Total Defense and a competitor that was much more expensive. When I reached out to Total Defense customer service, their representative, Lori **, was very patient and super helpful in clarifying their charges, and providing a link for me to cover my other devices under my current subscription. That's going to save me a few hundred dollars once the other anti-virus subscription is cancelled. And I can cover 8 more devices as well!! This is FABULOUS! I don't know how I forgot such an awesome perk! Thanks, Lori!! PS- I can't even get through to the competitor's customer service-- I guess there are a lot of people calling to cancel.

I have been with Total Defense now for a year and have enjoyed their services provided. I had set up auto renewal and called to make sure that was going through. I spoke to rep Lori M. and asked if there were any specials going on to reduce the price and even though no specials weren't available, Lori credited my account $21 for having the plan. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous and the whole transaction took literally less than 5 minutes. I would recommend Total defense to anyone looking for a great computer defense and a great support team!

Having discovered that my anti-virus program was not working I contacted Total Defense and worked through the problem with Larry ** and then Lori **. At all times I was impressed with their prompt response and their ‘easy to follow’ instructions which resulted in the problem solved and the anti-virus program up and running. Most grateful for for the assistance provided.

An automatic update of my Total Defense software resulted in the virus scanning function not working. I emailed the details of my problem to the Support Desk who responded with a solution in less than 24 hours. Laura from the Support Desk recommended a solution which included a link to the Total Defense website. The link worked and the rest of the recommended solution fixed the virus scanning failure immediately. My virus protection is functioning beautifully.

I bought an antivirus for Mac online before the one I had expired, apparently I had a subscription and my card was charge twice, so I had to call customer service to get my refund back and the person that answer me was really helpful, which I appreciate a lot.

The representative was extremely helpful and efficient. She resolved my rebate issue and was thorough. I originally called to check on the status of a rebate that I had previously mailed in. She was able to quickly locate my account and describe to me the issue and then proceed to resolve it.

My wife's Cell Phone Total Defense app did not automatically update after subscription renewal. After my email re this Lori came back quickly with a solution, most satisfactory. Lori has been very helpful the few time I have contacted Support.

I have had Total Defense about four years. My experience using Total Defense has been positive. In addition to the automatic email reply during non-business hours, I get a response from a person at Total Defense. The few times I called I was able to speak to a person; usually Lori or Carlos. Both very helpful and polite.

She understood what I was talking about cause sometimes I don't make myself clear, when I'm trying to express myself. She had a lot of patience with me. All representatives should have the time and patience she has.

I received a message stating that my Total Defense subscription had expired. However, Total Defense is part of my paid package with Mediacom, and my account is in good standing. I first tried contacting Mediacom, but no techs were available over the holiday weekend (although they promised to have one call). There was no call. I then reached out to Total Defense customer support by email. Lori responded and supported my inquiry in a timely manner. I was so grateful and relieved to have her help.

I've used/recommended/specified Total Defense & predecessors for many years. Does its job well without getting in my way. Haven't had malware issues. Will continue to be my security solution and it just keeps getting better with great, responsive US support.

Lori was excellent as per usual. I have always had prompt responses to my inquiries and issues from Lori over many years. This time I needed help with a problem with a "full scan" not being able to be performed after a free software update to v. 13 (Total Defense Essentials Anti-Virus) on 30/06/2021. I sent my email inquiry off late at night (Australian time), and received a reply about 30 minutes later. I was expecting a reply the next day, so I was very impressed with the timeliness. The prompt service enabled me to follow some instructions about producing a pc log to send to Lori for the Total Defense tech people for investigation.

Lori was cheerful and able to solve in 20 seconds the issue that I had been staring at for fifteen minutes. The second call was equally pleasant and successful. As you might have guessed, I am not the most comfortable person with computers. On the other hand, textile fragments, up to 4000 years old, no sweat.

There were some minor subscription renewal issues. One was my error in inadvertently doubling up the renewal, and the other was a software glitch preventing my android tablet from updating. These were both promptly and courteously resolved by Daniel **.

I called in to address my concern with automatic renewal. Rep answered all my questions. Rep understood my needs. Rep retained my business by offering me 40% off although there is currently no promotions for the package which I enrolled in. I am satisfied. I need to keep up with ongoing promotions of the membership I am enrolled in.

I have used Total Defense Internet Security since at least 2014. My subscription was due to automatically renew towards the end of June, 2021. Unfortunately, the renewal failed. I reached out to Customer Support who promptly sent me a link and instructions to manually renew and re-enroll in the auto renewal service. However, the renewal installation got corrupted. I once again contacted Customer Service who again promptly replied with links and instructions to uninstall the product and download and install a new version. This all went smoothly and I have now run a full scan and my PC is secure. My thanks to Total Defense Customer Service for their prompt responses and easy to understand instructions.

Keeps asking for money for total protection. How do I know if installed correctly. Says Protection Disabled and when I click on Enable Protection, says I need to upgrade to Total AV Pro and when I click on activate, wants money says I only have 8 days of protection. Most frustrating experience ever. If not for the very nice people who have worked with me, I would cancel my internet.

I reached today to get help with installation of my virus protection on another device. Lori ** was very helpful and knowledgeable with the issue I was having. Dan was not rushed. He gave easy explanations to an elderly, nontechnical customer. I felt confident when dealing with him. I did not understand the Microsoft S status. He explained how this affected me and your product. I have not used the new computer very much yet, so I do not know the value of your product at this point.

She was very patient in trying to figure out what the problem was (interpreting emails and messages that had shown up on my computer from TD, figuring out whether you had me under two different email addresses, and figuring out whether I had in fact paid!). My Total Defense would not update. It kept saying Buy Me. I had already renewed. I called your help desk and spoke to Carlos **. He asked me several questions about my problem and came up with a solution. He sent me an e-mail to remove my current Total Defense. He then sent me another e-mail to reinstall the new version. I followed his directions. After reinstalling the new version and putting in the code everything worked fine. He did a great job. I wish to thank him for his help. Dick
