Installation on Mac had not occurred with several updates, problem was resolved without issue, but had to be scheduled Mon-Fri 9-6 EDT, which is somewhat of an inconvenience. Tech support was great, hours of operation are not! What happened to 24/7 support.

I had a problem running the tune up after scanning and called for help. Gary identified the problem immediately and was able to correct it. He also showed me how to correct this problem myself if it occurs in the future. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and everything is now working fine. I was very pleased with the results of this call.

Had Total Defense access my computer to make sure no malware was attached after what I perceived to be a suspicious call. Representative was extremely helpful in explaining what could have been a scam and making sure that my computer was clean.

Dan explained how to download TD for my Android, and why I might want to. I had called to get some input on whether TD recommended taking this step with Android phones, and Dan's insights were helpful. I now have a better sense of how the Android mechanism compares with that of Windows.

Had problems with installing Total Defense software. Temporary (30 Day trial) McAfee software which came with the computer would not let total defense be loaded. Called Total defense Technical Support for help. Technician Carlos, (Great Technician, pleasant, courteous, patient, and very knowledgeable) resolved my problem as well as setting up other issues that were confusing me. I'm a senior citizen, and Carlos was excellent in his professional way that he helped me. Thank you very much!!

PC Tune up not loaded, activation link expired. I was connected with Carlos after call the main help number. He understood my problem and took control of my machine to install and scan. I liked the callback option so I didn't have to sit and watch. The issue was taken care of quickly & professionally.

Would have given 5 stars for very happy with experience but did not want to indicate that would advise friends. Got Total Defense by default with purchase of new laptop. Abt sales associate from whom I purchased laptop in response to my question indicated Total Defense better than McAfee at the time. I have not personally researched the defense software but am comfortable having something and have liked the periodic reports provided by Total Defense. Having clarified the situation I called today to renew the subscription. Faced with a somewhat clueless customer Daniel was patient, honest, informative and helpful. Really good experience.

Our service was discontinued due to closed renewal information. My husband passed away and I wanted to renew and change the account to my name. I was pleased with the time it took to give a new payment number and my name to reinstate the service. I am once again protected for another year.

The program keep loading endlessly. It was probably something I did or did not do properly. I called Total Defense after much frustration and within five minutes the tech had the program running flawlessly. I can see that total defense takes much pride in their work and doing business with you will be great.

I have used Total Defense software since the late 1990's when it was Computer Associates. I've found the product very effective and have never had a problem due to external attack. On the few occasions I've needed support I've always found the response to be quick, courteous & effective.

I called to make sure my subscription was still active, bought it for my son a few years ago and he never used it. Spoke to Dan who checked and said yes and got me started. He said if I needed anything I could call, I called spoke to Dan once again and he help take care of everything right away! GREAT customer service!!!

I received a computer on yesterday. Thought I had done download. To my surprise had not successfully completed process. Called the number listed in email to contact and I was assisted by customer service rep and was helped step by step to finish downloading my secure site. He was very friendly and very attentive to what needed to be done to finish the process.

I couldn’t download my link because it kept telling me I had some antivirus and spyware still on it and I couldn’t see it. Called Mediacom and they referred me to Total Defense Tech. The tech took over my computer and professionally took care of my problems

Carlos ** offered outstanding support. by removing unwanted software (McAfee) that downloaded to my system when I downloaded Adobe Acrobat. I didn't want it. I only want my Total Defense virus protection. Carlos was very knowledgeable and efficient and also very personable. He is a great asset to Total Defense.

The guy that I talked to was very helpful and got me up and going very fast. I will be keeping this protection plan for as long as I have my computer. The guy was very nice and polite when I talked with him and asked me if there was anything else that I needed help with and told me that if I had any more problems that I could call back and they would pick up where we left off. I have not had good customer service than this. Very grateful.

Taylor and Carlos did an outstanding job. Both were very knowledgeable with my situation and the outcome was excellent. First Taylor knew what the problem was and did direct me in an upright fashion to solve that issue, but unfortunate my issue was way deeper than imagined. Second Carlos truly spent about 45 mins cleaning out my Total Defense files and he checked the Registry and HKEYS for any issues. Carlos rebooted and I finished it on my own with a clean install, and everything is back to order. Thanks to both men for a wonderful job and their professional curiosity.

Lori helped me immediately after I called the tech center. My PC Tune up was not completing the 'FIX" part of the tune up. Lori was very pleasant and patient as I explained what was wrong. Especially noteworthy is that she stayed on the phone with me to help "walk me through" the process of making the fix phase work. Her customer service skills coupled with a sincere caring attitude toward customers make her outstanding. I really appreciated having someone (Lori) willing to listen and actually go out of her way to help. Thank you Lori for being so good at what you do.

Have a new laptop but had issues installing program. Thanks to Total Defense technical support personnel I am back to not worrying about protection on the new computer. Taylor was great in checking to assure us our system was running at peak performance. Total Defense team is great. I had been receiving phishing calls telling me my system was down. Although the dashboard said system was operational I figured it was worth checking.

Recently I upgraded the Total Defense Ultimate and used it the other evening to speed up my computer and remove any malware or virus on my computer. The process was completed and my system performance has improved considerably. However, one of my application was locked up. Problem solved. I would like to thank Taylor Wold (Customer Support Specialist) in your organization and solved the problem. Wow!! I found him knowledgeable, professional, considerate and focused on solving this problem. My activation code did not work. I was not able get the program installed due to the code. It said that the activation code was expired, but it does not expire until April 2019. Dan uninstalled and reinstalled Total Defense and now it is working.

I am not computer literate in the least. I did renew my Total Defense protection on my laptop but was unable to do the same on my tablet. When I called for help I was delighted with the rep that answered. He had patience and was so helpful walking me through the process to complete the update. It was a really pleasant experience and I felt like I had accomplished something!

Microsoft Popup - I received a notice on my PC saying I had a virus to call them immediately, thought it was probably was a scam but it was different from any I have ever seen so wanted to be sure, spoke with Taylor **. I had problem in installing previous antivirus program making it difficult to install my Total Defense. I was given quick and courteous assistance. Customer support at Total Defense definitely helped me. I was installing Total Defense on my dad's computer and without the help of your customer service representative sending me the uninstaller I needed, it would have probably been impossible for me to uninstall the old antivirus.

Critical error encountered during Total Defense download installation. Same error was encountered on several installation attempts. It was also discovered that a recent Windows 10 upgrade was being held up due to an out of date BIOS file on the computer. The BIOS file was updated by the user and the Windows upgrade successfully completed. Tried to download and install Total Defense after the upgrade completed. Although it appeared the TD installation completed user was unable to open the software. TD support team cleaned computer and installed TD software successfully.

While trying to renew my subscription to Total Defense, I encountered some problems with the download. I had a small laptop which had not been used for a year or so and the anti virus software had expired. I ran into problems I could not solve, so I called customer service. I was put in touch with Carlos **, who was very helpful. My problem had several levels of difficulty, and he synced in to my computer and it was really cool to be able to watch as he clicked through and solved all of the problems in a short amount of time. He fixed a lot of issues which kept the download from happening, and in the end, everything worked perfectly. You have a good Tech working for you. He was patient with me (as I was a little anxious) and he worked through the problems systematically and with skill. He solved the problem, and that was the goal. Thanks, Carlos, you made my day.

Last week, I crashed my Surface 2 computer and I needed to reinstall TD. I was unable to locate the Subscription for TD that I purchased October 24, 2018. When I spoke to Customer Service, they were able to find my old accounts under **, but discovered that when I made the October purchase, I set the account up under my wife's email address, **. I was also told how to reset my password if necessary. I have reinstalled TD on all three computers without any difficulty. Thank you!

Carlos was able to quickly resolve my issue trying to install the Total Defense software due to issues with Norton not fully being removed. Even though Norton was not showing in my programs the installation processing was finding remaining remnants of the program.

Due to a possible glitch in a change over during the latest takeover of Total Defense, my subscriptions did not appear on my account. Within 24 hours, (allowing for large international time differences) the problem was corrected. I have used this product, originally called VET in Australia, for over 25 years and would recommend it to anyone.

I had some difficult problems when trying to install Total Defense on my Mac. I called the help number and talked to Gary. He took over the computer and did the installation for me. This was very helpful because I don't understand a lot about computers.

The tech explain everything very clear and solve the problem and spoke very politely. He finally resolved the problem of getting my Total Defence active, after I have called three days in a row trying to get it installed after buying this new computer, he told me to wait 10 minutes to give me a call back and he did it in less than 10 minutes. Total Defense's advisor was able to quickly determine the problem that my computer was having. He removed the offending malware quickly and efficiently. He also explained in layman's terms what the issue was. He was patient and reviewed the programs on my system to ensure that I would not experience any additional unwanted advertising pop ups.

Yesterday Microsoft removed Total Defense off my computer and said I should not have it on my computer. They said it was not needed and was causing a conflict. Microsoft deleted Total Defense along with Windows 10 and then reinstalled Windows 10. I Called Total Defense today and told them and asked for it to be reinstalled. A few security questions and Total Defense was reinstalled. Great customer service - 5 stars. Excellent job.

After semi falling for a scam that "took over my computer" and then realizing when the "technician" asked for my credit card number that it was a scam, I got off with that guy and called Total Defense. Gary ** worked me through the process and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you.

This man made me feel at ease when doing this, I just wish all tech. support people were English and other speaking and trying to talk English. I will refer friends. I've contacted Total Defense twice now and both times I have had superior service. I'm elderly and not all that computer literate. In fact that's how I got in trouble in the 1st place. Both times the gentleman I talked to went out of their way to help me. Therefore I will always go with Total Defense in the further. Customer Service has become a lost art now with most companies expecting you to solve your own problems. So my hat is off to you and your company. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this service.

My antivirus is automatically deducted from my credit card, but didn’t update in the computer. He helped me update my anti-virus and made sure it will automatically renew in the feature. He also was pleasant and took his time with helping me.

After installing the software and entering the serial number it would not complete the activation when the button was clicked. The technician was able to correct the problem, and started the scan for me.

Was having trouble getting program to run - Taylor ** was very, very helpful in getting me back into the program. Renewal was not due yet although it was telling me to renew. Did have an activation code and had to reset password which then did not work and let me continue with the updating.
