Reported the claim Saturday morning and the phone arrived Monday. So fast! Then the rep who answered the phone solved my issue quickly AND offered to help me erase my old phone without rushing me off the phone. She was so good at forward resolution!

Asurion handled my stolen phone claim efficiently and quickly. I put my claim in on a Saturday morning and had the replacement phone at my house by Monday!! I had not filed a claim ever so I received the 50 % discount on the new phone.

I bought the Apple device from Verizon, they charge me insurance program for 13$ per month. So my device screen became cracked, I apply for Asurion insurance and I got the news that I need to pay deduct payment of 199$. It’s very bad, but I think ok, I will pay, but they also telling me that I will receive the refurbished device.. I have question, what mean refurbished device? I bought brand new IPAD 11 inch pay 3 month insurance, and stay ok with deduct payment 199$ and you send me refurbished device???? I pay a lot of money I receiving ref device. Its look like fraud, big fraud, I don't recommendation this company.
I will also tell to my friends about this situation and tell them for remove this insurance. I also tell in our office there is 21 persons who use this insurance for remove it!!!! I understand if I have old device or 2 year device, but I have new model, I bought this iPad few month ago, and they tell me that I will receive the ref..I will save more money if I will take care myself. I will lose maybe little more but I will receive new. NO REF and will be free insurance payment 13$...just think, you give your device and 199$ and receive ref, which will not work good 100%... If device was repaired 1 time screen, it will work not normal, if the Asurion fraud me at giving me ref device they will put 100% not original screen, because there is no original screens!

Well I don't recommend anyone lose their phone. But glad to have insurance even though the deductible was not cheap. I guess cheaper than a new phone. They were quick to send the replacement. I reported it on a Saturday, and Monday the replacement arrived. Note along with it that assistance was available but I took it to a Verizon Store. Their service was very good. Recommend it highly.

It started off bad when I wasn’t able to receive my device but I was helped by amazing staff that helped me get a new phone shipped. And when I received I was helped with activating my device. I’ve been the happiest ever since.

We were on a huge time constraint getting this phone before we left the country. The phone arrived on time and without any problems. AT&T and Asurion were very helpful. They even helped us get an extension on sending our old phone back since we were leaving.

I received my replacement phone the NEXT DAY!! I was so surprised! Thank you for your prompt service! I was very worried about submitting a claim when I broke my phone but the process was very easy and upfront. This was my first claim and needless to say I was skeptical. You hear so many stories about how hard it is to file a claim, how bad the customer service is, etc. So I think, here goes. I get all set, ready for battle. Approximately ten minutes later I hang up the phone with the assurance that I would have my new phone within two business days after the completion of my paperwork. Wow that was painless. The gentleman that I worked with was awesome. He made it a breeze. The hardest part was getting my husband to sit down long enough to sign the paperwork. As promised, two days later I have my new phone. Thank you, Asurion, for your prompt and courteous service.

It when very smooth, the phone was delivered right away, and setting it up was easy. I had to call Asurion the get the sim card activated. I sent back the damaged phone with their easy return they included in the replacement.

The process was rather simple. The one that I have an issue with is that the phone that was damaged does not fire up so I was unable to clear information and there was no explanation as to how to do that prior to sending the damaged device back.

My experience with Asurion (my second time, I believe) was super quick, easy, and definitely effective! Accidentally drowning my phone was not exactly pleasant, and I was sure it would be a nightmare to get a replacement - instead, it was a seamless process, and the cost of my replacement phone (with deductible) was very fair. So happy that I had insurance.

It took a couple tries, but it was an otherwise smooth process. Asurion had to send out two phones because after two hours on the line with an agent and the first phone sent, they had to send another because the first wouldn’t activate. Thanks for all your help.

AT&T - Finally gave up on my phone (charger/battery problems) and put in a claim on a Friday night. I got my phone before 10 am on Saturday morning, and by noon had everything transferred over. The only nit-noid is I couldn't figure out the tape that was included for return, so I sued my own.

So I purchased a Lawn Mower from WalMart. The cashier asked if I would like a protection plan for 3 years that would cover the Lawn Mower if anything went wrong. Of course that is a No Brainer so I said Yes, was not told if anything SPECIFIC went wrong I was told if ANYTHING went wrong so of course 2 years and 11 months go by and now my mower will not start. I am a stickler for preventive maintenance so when Asurion tells me that it is because I have put bad gas in my mower or let the mower set with gas in it which has damaged the Carburetor it is hard for me to believe since I drain my mower each fall and put fresh gas in it every summer.
Asurion shame on you for False Advertising and Walmart Shame on you for not training your employees to exactly know about what a Scam this Protection Plan is.... So basically I not only wasted 20 bucks for a Protection Plan that is worthless but if you figure all the time I was on the phone waiting for help for the 5 days I was back and forth with Asurion that was another 4 hours and since I make 20 bucks an hour basically I am out $100 Dollars. The brochure clearly states "If your product breaks it will be fixed, replaced, or you will be reimbursed." What a Big Load of Poo Poo!!!

AT&T - Cell phone was stolen on board a cruise ship and the insurance company handle very well. It was an easy process. My wife and I were able to move forward quickly. Would definitely recommend to others.

I got my replacement phone in a timely manner. It is good quality, too. The agent I worked with through the chat feature was very helpful! Once I received it, I then took my phone to my local AT&T store for help setting it up. Overall it was a great experience.

Ok so after being sent the wrong phone and then not be able to get a phone like I had I was told by one of your agents that the deductible would be waived. But when I received my bill it had not been waived. So basically I was lied to. Not happy at all with my experience.

I was pleasantly surprised how easy and fast it was to complete the process of filing a claim and receiving a replacement. The process was straightforward and Asurion already had my phone's information in their system so they were able to not only confirm proper ownership but they also quickly sent a replacement. I received my new phone in less than 48 hours of filing the claim. I was also impressed they included a new case as they assumed that was also lost along with the phone. Glad the phone insurance was worth it when it came down to unfortunately needing it.

When we chose the replacement phone there was no indication that it was on back-order. It was frustrating waiting and getting a run-around from different workers. My two stars are because (1) the customer service from one worker I spoke with was very helpful and she finally gave some concrete information and informed us that the warehouse had it on back-order even though the website didn't correctly show this and (2) the customer service worker who helped us set up the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. I personally believe these two workers should get raises or promotions because they went above and beyond for me and my wife.

The replacement phone that was initially sent to me was a restored phone with an inferior display. My malfunctioning phone display is much much superior with a sharp, crisp display. I went to AT&T store and they tried to get the replacement phone display to improve but was unable to. So I was disappointed and called you to ask if I could send it back and get a NEW phone to replace my original phone (since that is what I was promised when I called in the first time. You can check your recordings of that call and verify that I was promised a NEW phone. The representative yesterday was very nice and was eager to please me and also promised to send me a NEW replacement phone. Both representatives were extremely nice and eager to satisfy me. I started the claim process online about 2 weeks after an employee's phone was stolen. I was told that it would be a while before the use of credit card funds to pay the deductible would be approved, so I had to wait about 50 additional days before completing the claim process online. I believe Asurion allowed 60 days. I never had to talk to anybody. I just answered simple questions and clicked Next a few times. Ultimately, I found that the deductible is charged to our AT&T bill. We received the replacement iPhone 7 Plus the next day. The box says "AT&T Certified Restored" so I'm sure the phone isn't new, but it does look new. It came with earbuds, a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter, Lightning charge cable, and a USB wall adapter. All appear to be genuine Apple. I highly recommend Asurion; they made it so easy.

Overall experience was great, however, I was speaking to rep #1 and in the middle of verifying my email for confirmation/tracking purposes, an automated system kicked on & lost my call to that rep. So I had to get a separate rep on the phone to complete the call & update the email acct. No big deal though! First rep said it might take 1-2 business days. Rep #2 said it could be 3-5 because my replacement phone was on "back-order". However I received the replacement phone on the morning of the very next day. Very satisfied! 10/10! Would recommend. :)

I’ve had many many iPhones and replaced each one myself but was told I had to use the service to guide me through the service. I always just put in old SIM card and back up from iCloud latest backup. I was told I could not do this and had to use new SIM card and had to set up replacements phone as a NEW DEVICE. I lost all my contacts and all my photos of the past 10 years. After wasting an hour with this disaster I another 25 minutes for a supervisor and by then I had redone this a the way I always go - the supervisor was Brain and he was knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a review about him.

We do advise to back up the device before making any changes or switching over to your replacement device. Typically, you are asked to insert a new SIM card in order for your device to have the latest technology connecting it to your cellular service. However, you are able to use a previous Storage Device card (SD card) in order to back up old pictures or information and transfer that information to the replacement device. I took my replacement Asurion iPhone to the Apple store because it was glitching out. The guy basically told me all the parts they use to refurbish their iPhones are third party knock offs. These phones glitch constantly and do not function as the original iPhone is advertised. They are cheap frankenstein knock-offs. They are nowhere near water resistant, their batteries don't last and the screens and software glitch too.
I am appalled by this. I would never recommend Asurion insurance. Just protect your phone through Apple and ONLY Apple. Anything else is NOT an iPhone. especially through this crap company. When the guy at the store ran diagnostics he literally found ALL of the previous owners information. COULD YOU IMAGINE YOUR OLD PHONE FLOATING AROUND WITH YOUR INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR THE CURRENT USER! UNBELIEVABLE! Fraudulent and crap phones!

My wife's phone has been giving her issues for months now, random apps opening, calls switching to facetime, etc. I convinced her to let me file the claim and get her a new one through Asurion, and it was amazing! Got the phone the next day and was able to set it up easily! It's been a week and the phone seems to work perfectly. Very happy with how this works. Worth the fees.

The only thing I didn't like is I did NOT get a confirmation email when the phone shipped or was delivered. I get nervous on deliveries these days with all the theft off of porches and front doorsteps. Other than that the experience was good and the phone works great.

Cracked my screen with a bit of water damage. Filed a claim online and my phone was delivered next day. They send you a envelope to mail your damaged phone to them and voila, you're done. I have used Asurion for years with iPhones and Androids and they are so incredibly easy to deal with, worth paying for the insurance.

I recently lost a Blackberry Priv, insured by Asurion (I bought the insurance through AT&T when I got the phone). Asurion said they cannot replace the Blackberry, but instead offered me another cell phone (a Samsung), an inferior product that would be quite useless to me, since I need a key feature of the Blackberry (a "hard" keyboard). On top of that, Asurion wanted $112 in deductible to send me cell phone that is quite useless to me and that I would just have to throw away and buy a replacement Blackberry on my own. Asurion thus took my money and refused to honor its contract with me: either providing the right replacement phone or providing me the money to buy a replacement (less the deductible). How can it call itself a reputable firm? How can the BBB give it an A+ rating.

As far as replacing the phone, the people were prompt and very nice. The deductible is ridiculous though almost $200 for my phone replacement. I only have a $500 for my $45k dollar vehicle so I would like to know why it's so expensive.

I reported my phone stolen. I was able to track my phone to its actual last known location that the person who stole it had it at and was active at until the sim card was either removed or the phone was shut off and phone left at that location. I submitted all the necessary paperwork by faxing it to Asurion after the memorial day weekend and within 3 days I had a replacement iPhone delivered to my door.

This is the worst company! I was watching my young granddaughters out of state and my phone became inoperable. They would NOT send me another one at my daughter’s house... a fraud thing. Even though I gave them the correct pin and they had my info... Plus my husband talked to them from our home state and he told them to process this claim ASAP. They jerked us both around for days and finally my husband told them to send it to him... so he finally gets the phone and then has to spend $80. to overnight it to me.
Then there was a whole other problem with UPS store. All the aggravation we had to go through because Asurion doesn’t have their stuff together and doesn’t know a thing about customer service. Verizon told us that they ship all over the world and that Asurion should’ve sent the phone to me even though I was out-of-state. We’ve been in business for 30 years and never have seen anything like this. We will be canceling our insurance and will never do business with this company again. Shame on Verizon for using them! Do NOT purchase this insurance for your cell phone! We paid over $200 for premium and got a cell phone stolen. We received a replacement quickly and the process seemed smooth. BUT the phone was extremely low quality refurbished phone that did not work. We called and they sent out a new one with no return label. Took weeks to get a label and we finally mailed it back. They said “they did not receive it” and now I have a $550 charge I’m disputing. Without even trying I already know MULTIPLE stories that detail the same experience.

I would say that’s pretty easy to do. It wasn’t tough. I asked Verizon to what do I need to do. Do I have to bring it back in and they said, "No you just mail it in."

Asurion took my payment information on a recorded line then forgot to process the payment so my replacement came 24 to 48 hours later than it should've... I've been paying for their insurance for over 10 years and they just dropped the ball... the supervisor tried to lie and say I never gave my payment information but they somehow magically had my brand new issued debit card information on file.... oops caught by your own recorded line for lack of quality service. Don't waste your money on this crap. They don't keep their promises, timeframes and try to make everything a huge hassle to deter people from filing claims. BBB has been informed.

Tech came to my house to replace a cracked screen and all went well. However, soon after the tech left I realized there was an anomaly in the new glass. When I reported it to Asurion I was surprised that they just wanted to replace the phone with a new one. They sent me a new phone within a day. Great service.

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator on 6/20/15. On 11/28/18 it began freezing up. I call for service and they came out and fixed it on 12/4/18, then again on 1/3/19, then again on 2/7/19, then again on 4/4/19, now again on 5/30/19. The Home Depot extended warranty with them said: "No Lemon Policy" your product is replaced after 3 repairs for same defect. Now they are telling me NO. I have a 5 year warranty and I think they might be biding their time. They refused to replace the refrigerator. Upon the 4th repair they PROMISED if that repair didn't work since they used a new company to fix it, they would replace it. Now they say no. I have to take time off work for this 7 time so far.
In addition to them not honoring their replacement policy, they never honored the $180 in frozen food we lost due to this problem. There is no satisfaction and no one to speak to that will honor their commitment to the $150 extended warranty I purchased. I wasn't aware these companies were allowed to get away with not honoring their contractual agreements.

I had a great experience except for one thing... the replacement screen “wasn’t” working and then my original screen “wasn't” working. I went to AT&T; turns out the brightness was down. I asked if that could be the case to the technician, but he assured me it was not the case. I was kind of frustrated that it turned out to be the issue cause I now have to transfer all of my data to a new phone since it seemed as though the replacement, and original, screens were not working. Besides all that, my experience with Asurion and the tech was absolutely amazing!!

All the customer service people I have dealt with have been great. However, the replacement phones I have gotten from Asurion have not worked well at all. I had to replace the replacement! The screen that was replaced on our iPhone was not an original part so the phone did not work correctly. The charger that we got was not original either. So it's disappointing to pay every month and feel like you are not getting your money's worth!

I think the monthly fee is a bit expensive, and then to be charged an additional service fee seem to be a bit much. We have 4 devices, and wonder why it is cheaper to insure our home for a year than to insure our 3 iPhones (6plus, 5s, X) and an iPad. Other than the cost, we were very happy with the quick service and turnaround time for the replacement to arrive. The online claims application was user friendly, and the customer support was compassionate, very knowledgeable and helpful.

When I cracked my camera glass I reported it right away and filed a claim with Asurion. I decided I would put that on hold and pay the deductible later when I could afford to since the phone still working. So now a year later the phone is malfunctioning and they say since I never reported to them within 90 days they will not honor the warranty. I did report the claim to Asurion when it first happened. They deleted the claim out of the system so they wouldn't have to honor the warranty. I'm going to be filing a complaint with the Attorney General. This is **.

Typically, a claim must be started in our system in order for it to hold for 60 or 90 days depending on your carrier. After this time frame, the claim will expire. If a claim is filed, completed and a device shipped. The device will be under a 12-month warranty in the case of a malfunction. I have had phone insurance for years through AT&T with Asurion and have used them a couple of times. Recently, on Tuesday, May 21st, I broke my phone and it stopped working. I made a claim online and it came the next day. When I opened it up, there is engraving on the metal part of my replacement iPhone 7 (reads: Remanufactured by some other company). Thinking this isn't common, I called Asurion to ask if having an engraved phone (they asked me about the engraving) was normal. The rep was friendly and said that it was not normal and sent me another one. I got THAT one the next day, only to behold the same deal. They've sent me a phone with ENGRAVING on the metal. Why would they do business with a company like this?
I called Asurion again. This rep, however, said this is normal. I expressed dissatisfaction with receiving an engraved phone. Receiving a refurbished phone is not something I'm opposed to if it works. She said the only option would be to request a 'New' phone. So she did that. That was Friday, May 24th. Not having received any update during the weekend (understandable), I called again on Tuesday, May 28th, to see what the status is. The rep said that he could see the issue with the claim and that I would get my new phone in 2-3 days. Lucky me. I got my THIRD replacement phone today and it has the same engraving on the back of the phone. I understand you need to provide customers with 'like' replacement parts, but I couldn't return/exchange any item if I had a personal engraving on it, so why should I be given one?
I call AGAIN. This lady tells me that they don't have control over what item AT&T sends me, which directly contradicts what I was told previously. After giving me the normal spiel about all of the terms and everything, she says an insurance adjuster will be contacting me about my claim within 24 hours. The process, in her words: The insurance adjuster will call within 24 hours (for added security - lies). She could not tell me anything about what the process looks like after that, or even what the insurance adjuster will have to say to me and I can't find it anywhere online.
At any rate, I have a couple of suggestions for Asurion:
1. Don't assume your customers are ok with SOMEONE ELSE engraving their phone. It's ridiculous. The point of the insurance claim is to get an undamaged phone.2. Create little cheat sheets that your reps can have at their desks with accurate information. If I needed to speak with an insurance adjuster, this could have been handled last week. Instead, It is now one entire week without a satisfactory replacement phone.
I've had good experiences with you in the past, but this has definitely left an EXTREMELY sour taste in my mouth.

Unfortunately, with AT&T, we do not send their devices. We only facilitate the claim and the devices are shipped by AT&T. In most cases, we are happy to request a new device, however, if only a "like new" device is available, they will have to send what is available. Your device, "new" or "like new" will come with a 12-month warranty. In the case there is a malfunction or defect, you may contact us back within the first 30 days in order to let us know of any dissatisfaction. After 30 days, you are able to contact AT&T directly in order to assist. I would like to dig a little deeper into this for you. Awesome job!!! I filed my need which was a broken screen they helped me get everything done and sent me a new one with easy return policy. The only thing I didn't like is the big deductible that has to be paid. I just wanted a new screen instead I got a new iPad?

Asurion has really stepped up its game. It was such a nice and easy experience... The questionnaire and form was a breeze to fill out! Best part my new phone and case came super fast. I will use again and refers a friend. I love AT&T... I have used this carrier since my first brick sized cell phone!

I would recommend both AT&T and Asurion to my family and friends. Staff were helpful, friendly & sympathetic! The phone came quickly & they helped me get everything restored on it. The only problem was that whoever packed the phone to ship it, put the wrong card in, so it didn’t match the SIM card, which caused some difficulties, until we figured that out, but they never gave up & stuck with me right until the end, without making me feel like I must be doing something wrong.

I do a claim for my cracked screen on my blue Note 9 and they said is gonna take 2 days. My phone wasn't working good so I need it for my work as soon as they can, and they're just answering they don't have it on stock. When they get it they gonna send it, but they don't give you a specific day, and finally got after 9 days and they send me a pink Note 9. Why they charge you for a insurance if they gonna send whatever they want. I call them and they said they don't guarantee the color so whatever they got they're gonna send you. I hate pink phones and now I'm stuck with this.

They keep sending me to multiple shop to fix my screen but then end up not fixing it due to defective item! I was wasting my gas driving around and waited for 3 hours. Came home without a phone.. I hope you shouldn’t charged me the $49 copay because of those problems I have encountered.

Phone is okay. Just wish finding a case was easier than having to wait for it to be mailed. Afraid of it getting broken. Glad it was fast getting the phone. AT&T customer service was very helpful. But someone should stick cases till you can't get the phones anymore.

I feel like I should be able to walk into a store and get a replacement. But no I have to apply online and wait and be w/o service. I am a senior with lots of medical conditions that may require instant attention. This is unacceptable to me. However in this situation I did receive my replacement w/I 24 hrs. I miss the old days when the phones could take a beating and keep on working. All phones now have short lives and are mostly replaced. With the aging population how is this status economically feasible? At least from my perspective of limited income. My family can't pick up these Costs along with medical.

My replacement was fast, easy, and painless. A few questions and a couple papers... I had my replacement the next day. And I filed on a Friday, I didn’t even have to wait for the weekend to pass and Monday to come. It was such a relief to have it so quickly. The reason I gave you three stars, was that I think for all that I pay for my insurance on the phone that I should have got a new phone not a refurbished phone. That's just my opinion.
