This insurance has been a lifesaver over the years! I have filed claims on broken tablets and phones and every time the representatives have been very knowledgeable and helpful. The replacements have arrived quickly as promised. I highly recommend having this insurance!

Delivery was very fast. The staff was very helpful and understood their job. I wasn’t on the phone long with the agent. I will recommend anyone to get the insurance on the phone if they don’t have it as AT&T customer. When I arrived home the package was right on the porch within the next business day.

It is an easy process to file a claim. The live chat option helped me file my claim, told me how much I had to pay and explained the deductible. I had a new phone within 24 hours. I am very satisfied with the service.

Got a replacement in a day and half. 1000% better than a few years back and I had to make a claim. Well done Asurion! The new phone set up was a breeze. They sent me a return label to send back my old phone tape included :).

Everything went well. The only negative thing I could say is the guy set a call appointment, called an hour late. Then he went to put me on hold and hung up on me and never called back. So I called in and set phone up.

Filed a claim with AT&T/Asurion and claim was settled within a couple of days. Phone was on back order but was shipped within the week. Only delay was with Fedex. Phone was promised on a Friday, did not received until Monday. All in all, I am very happy with Asurion's quick action with this claim.

Customer service was excellent. The commitment to replacement my lost cell phone within 24 hours was truthful. My replacement phone was delivered in less than 24 hours of my reporting the lost. This was absolutely amazing. Very satisfied with the assistance also following the receipt of the new cell phone. The customer service agent helped me to retrieve data stored in backup from my lost cell phone to then be downloaded onto my new cell phone. The whole experience has been awesome. I am very, very satisfied.

While vacationing in Las Vegas my phone was stolen. I’d put it down on the counter in ladies room while I washed my hands. Turned around and it was gone! Filed claim on Thursday and phone delivered same day we returned! Thank you.

The customer service rep was Condescending and rude. I had to call back two days later because I hadn't received an email saying my phone was on the way. Good thing I did because she didn't finish my claim however once I got past her I did receive my new phone fairly quickly!

The experience in getting the telephone replaced was one of patience needed on my part. Had to go through two replacements to get to the present phone that I have. Sending in the first phone was a challenge in that there were no instructions as to transferring the information from my damaged phone to the replacement, reconditioned phone? Took to AT&T locally and the tech attempted to transfer the contacts, photos, texts, voicemails and games that I had on the damaged phone, losing several photos with some transferred in a negative format. The games that I had had on the phone for several years were totally lost???
After getting the replacement reconditioned phone rather than a new phone, I had trouble with key reconnection, answering a call, turning the device off and on to attempt to reset, could not play games and sometimes answer a text? Contact was made to get this phone replaced and was told that you would extend the previous claim to replace the replacement phone, within two days, following a week plus called, talked to a claims person who indicated that the claim was in review, should be finalize the day of call. I received the replacement, took to AT&T where the tech this time was able to transfer all my new games, contacts, unanswered texts, voice mails, etc that was lost with the first go around. Tell you about the experience with the replacement of the phone; a good test of patience and forgiveness.

I used Asurion to replace my months old iPhone due to a cracked screen. The process went smoothly, everything was great, happiness and joy. The new phone worked well for over a year. Then due to a battery issue, I took my Asurion replacement phone to the Apple store for a replacement and was promptly informed that what I thought was a real replacement phone was FAKE. 100% fake. I asked how could they prove it was fake and the Apple employee showed me how the Apple on the back was just a sticker, the top of the screen was not smooth and a host of other items which I (being a first time Apple user) did not know. I received nothing as a trade in for my FAKE phone and when I contacted Asurion they said that all phones they provide are "ATT refurbished phones." Short version - you can break your $700 phone and they will replace it with a $100 knock off.

The device sent is based on what is available at the time you file your claim. Rest assured, all replacements come with a 1-year limited warranty. It was a bit tedious my experience. I had to find numbers not readily available to me and fill out forms then be in touch, not so with my J7, they hardly needed anything and the phone was replaced, very different experience with the iPhone.

The claim was easy to file, logical steps and website. I was able to file the claim while on an airplane over wifi. Asurion processed the claim quickly and replacement iPhone shipped immediately. Having paid for insurance for 2 years, was a little surprised that I had to pay $112 for a restored phone. Based on previous experiences w/ restored phones, I am afraid that there will be future problems w/ this "new" device. However, your customer service reps were very helpful and patient with my concerns. My "old" phone will be returned/shipped to you on 6/27/19.

Sent the wrong phone number the first time. They did well on recognizing it was wrong and fixing it. When I opened up the phone I called the number on the package to activate the phone and found out it was the wrong number.

I ranked it as a 4 because I felt the instructions when I tried to do it alone were a little vague. I went into a Verizon Store and they helped me. When I went to the chat part, I sort of read between the lines that the person was getting frustrated with me. The comments/help were a little sharp.

Unbelievable fast service, very helpful. Couldn't have asked for better service, we have filed 2 claims and both times, very happy. They always want to make sure everything is taken care of. The customer service person apologized that it took from Sunday when I filed my claim to get my new phone on Tuesday, I thought that was great timing, never disappointed with Asurion service. When we had to use the service everything was handled with kid gloves. We were told at AT&T office that the phone would be replaced within a day, and to our surprise we received the email that we would get the phone in a 24 hours. GREAT JOB. THANK YOU.

My only complaint is that AT&T doesn’t make it easy to know how to file a claim since closing down the warranty offices in our local store. There should be a big, bold link from my account page. Once I finally figured out how to file a claim (looked on website and multiple visits to AT&T store), it was a quick and painless process.

The only issue I had was with my old phone; my screen was unresponsive and I was unable to clear my data etc before returning it you less that was a byproduct of the assistance I had received in the AT&T store...

I bought the insurance for my camera which was explicitly advertised to cover "drops, spills and cracked screens" because I was going on a trip and afraid of any damage. However, when I submitted my claim form online, I was automatically rejected and not able to speak to a person. This company makes false advertising and after they take your money they just ignore you. Do NOT buy from them!!!

Y'all did not help me the way I supposed to be helped. Someone stole my identity and cancel my phones. You put me into fraud. God. Did not handle me right. I am a disabled woman and I needed my phones back to be replaced. Y'all did not replace them. To go customer service stinks. The people who was helping me on the phone did not help me correctly. I am very dissatisfied with the company and I'm with AT&T. I have cable service so why would I do fraud on my two cell phones? I think y'all did not have them incorrectly. No one should be able to get into my information and cancel out my phone. I was robbed at gunpoint and y'all don't understand.
Do not want no more service with y'all because you did not handle me like I supposed to be handled. These people can go into people account and get their information, order phones and getting a PIN code. How can people do that? I'm telling you who I am on the phone and you're not listening to me at all. I've been crying for the last 4 days. I cannot get no help from AT&T protection service. I think it sucks. Now my credit is ** up because of someone stealing my information. Did you say you cannot give me a refund of my money? I spent in the store in Miami 3101 North Miami Avenue at AT&T service Miami Florida 33127. I think that's wrong. Is someone needs to contact me about that my phone number is **. I had to call two different times last week for the same problem. That was to set up my new iPad to transfer information from my old iPad. The first person I contacted was a total waste of my time and her time as well in all fairness I would not give that person a rating however the second person I called whose name was Sierra resolved my issues in probably 20-25 minutes. My issue was resolved without any additional problems or need to contact the company I think she may have been someone from the Apple versus your company as I was transferred during the call. She was absolutely five star plus in ability and pleasant assistance.

Replaced my broken phone with a refurbished one. I started having issues with it a week in. When I called they were very helpful and sent me a new phone overnight! Very happy I paid for the insurance and that they were able to fix the issue immediately!

Filed my claim, the process was easy and fast. Received my replacement phone in less than 48 hours. Setup and data transfer was simple. Only problem I had was some of my contacts got convoluted with extra data that wasn't present in the contact before and some of my game applications lost progress.

At first I was incredibly upset the my screen cracked and became nearly unusable. When I had my phone taken to have it screen replaced and was told that it can not because the phone itself with slightly bent, my stomach dropped. Having to request a complete replacement was a little concerning, but in hindsight it was the easiest and rewarding act I've taken. When my new phone came in, I was back in business! I don't know why anyone would not get their hardware insured. We have it out so much and there are so many opportunities for a catastrophic accident to happen. I am extending my insurance.

My husband's phone accidentally slipped out of his pocket and hit the ground causing the screen to crack; therefore had to file a claim to get a replacement. The process was very thorough and expedient. This happened on Sunday, June 16 and the claim was filed, documents faxed per instructions, approved and replacement shipped within one day and received on Tuesday, June 18.

Received the phone the next day. Had a few issues activating the phone but that was because of the security on the phone. I took it into the local Verizon store and they were able to help me. Then my phone was up and running. It works great and I am happy. It was replaced with exactly what I had.

I'm only writing this out of frustration. I've had THE WORST customer service experience this morning and now I'm wasting more time writing this review. I've tried for 30 minutes now, via website, chat and by phone to communicate with a real person. A week or so ago I finally connected with someone at Asurion regarding a device that was found, which we'd put a claim on. All I wanted was an envelope to return the device. The envelope I received today was too small for the device I needed to return. A device they know about, and should have sent the properly sized envelope...
So I try to call and connect with someone, and I cannot reach a representative. So I try the online chat feature, and after entering all the information they require, before chatting with a live person, it says it doesn't recognize our billing address and tells me to call the # I already called and couldn't reach someone. Writing this isn't going to do me, or probably anyone else any good, because I'm forced to use this claims provider for the devices we use. It's making me feel mildly better to vent. Back to continuing to try and get a hold of someone. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD THIS YEAR.

Filed claim for my Mom's phone. UPS delivered the phone next day by lunch and after charging phone I had it back working within 2 hours. So, in a little more than 24 hours of filing claim my Mom's phone was back up and working.

I bought lost and stolen protection BEFORE they stopped offering this service to their customers. The only reason why I bought this coverage was for the lost and stolen protection. I go to use it because my phone got stolen at a concert and they tell me that I am no longer covered for the service that I am STILL paying for. Asurion said that Freedom Mobile was supposed to inform me that this was taken off my account, I have not received an email from them. Then when I go to Freedom to ask why I haven’t been informed, they said that Asurion was supposed to inform me and that they have no clue that this service has been taken away? Excuse me? WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RESPONSIBLE?
I’ve been going back and forth for four days, they said that they would email me if my claim has been denied because I have no phone obviously. I waited for two days and no email, I call them and they tell me that it was denied. Why didn’t they inform me? There is so much more with this situation but quite frankly, I’m tired. I have an interview with a local consumer protection journalist and I can’t wait to tell them about this situation. I have everything that everyone said recorded.

One of the worst experiences I've had. I broke a phone, so went online to start a claim. The website was broken and absolutely would not load using 3 different browsers, using my laptop, desktop, and another mobile phone. I was forced to call. The first woman that I spoke with told me that the phone I had was not covered by Asurion and actually argued the color of it. The phone was a Best Buy limited edition gold Galaxy S9, not a phone that Verizon carries. I was told there was no way for them to create a claim for a phone that they can't find in their system. Then I "lost" connection and had to go through the entire thing again.. twice.
I finally said I needed to speak with someone who can get something done. After more and more discussion, I was told that I needed to contact Verizon and they would need to put that model of phone in their system!? How is that my responsibility? I was furious so I drove to Verizon out of desperation. Thank god they were competent. The rep at the store was able to call an "emergency" type of line to Asurion and explained the situation to them. Ten minutes later, I was told that a new phone was being mailed to me. What a disaster. In the end, I got the wrong phone, but it's their fault they accidentally sent me an upgrade. Maybe it was their apology for hanging up on me and segueing that I had a non-existent phone color?

Asurion, you are unethical for knowingly sending out recalled phones. ie iPhone 7 model A 1660. Then I called about it and was led to believe a claim was completed. IT WASNT. Then, 6 days later ASURION sent an inoperable phone. NINE DAYS to get a new iPhone and 149$ later. You're a horrible company. I'm telling EVERYONE they don't need phone insurance and I mean EVERYONE. Had a repair location that was downtown in my city. The repair technician barely spoke English. He did not know how to park downtown and was unprofessional when he asked me to hand me my phone while he sat in his car on the street to fix it. I did not feel comfortable doing so, but he said "his boss would not pay for parking". I tried calling him but two times, but he instead chose to text me minutes later asking if I felt comfortable with him fixing my phone in his car yet.

Although I did have to be very persistent with the representative regarding the confusion I had with AT&T about the fact that my phone was indeed insured when I bought the phone and for some reason my insurance got interrupted by AT&T. I was I on the phone with AT&T for over five hours correcting it before finally having to talk to Asurion with the AT&T phone rep on the phone - which took another hour. But Asurion was great as long as I was diligent and making sure that my insurance was reinstated with AT&T.

We have had a very tough time dealing with Asurion. My phone was fixed by the company in May and I was charged accordingly. I have called both regular customer service and corporate and have gotten the same exact response every single time. "we are sending a request that your phone be shipped and will have a response and shipping number within 2 business days." This is the 3rd week and 6th phone call we have made to hear the exact same excuse.
I asked a woman if I can file another claim that the phone was lost by Asurion and the woman directly told me no. I understand that things get misplaced in this type of business. But never have I had to deal with a company that won't help me get something back that they themselves misplaced or lost. I according to state laws passively record all of my phone calls and have the recordings of support being rude. Telling me that this time around their email will work and I will have something in 2 business days. Still nothing.

The phone was out of stock when they placed the order, which I understand happens but a little disappointing. Had to wait like 4 days instead of 2, but it wasn’t the end of the world. It was a bit frustrating when I tried to check the status and it said my claim hadn’t been submitted. I chatted with someone and they said it did go through but I never got an email that it shipped and it kept showing I needed to complete the claim. I finally decided to just complete the claim to be safe. Then shortly after I did I got an email saying it shipped and I was able to track it. I just wanted my screen fixed. And I thought it would be fairly easy since I had insurance on my phone. But when I had a claim filed online, it only provided ONE store that was 30-40 minutes away from my house. I sucked it up and went there before work. When I got there, they told me it would take two and a half hours or three hours to fix my screen—which I couldn’t do because I had to go to work. I got there 12:35 pm and had to work 3:00pm. I couldn’t pick it up after work because I finished work at 7:00pm, which was when the store closed.
None of the other times the rest of the week worked for me. My claim would also expire the same week. I just want my screen fixed. I just want a nice phone again without paying $170.00. “Keni” on Asurion's Facebook was also uncompassionate and basically reiterated everything I knew already. Be prepared for limited options for claims. Definitely canceling my insurance.

This was not an easy claim. During the original claim, my phone was broken by the repair tech causing them to send me a new (refurb) device. The data transfer process was a nightmare, multiple calls, tech coach sessions, and FINALLY getting an awesome tech, Jamie that was successful in getting my devices mirrored so that I could send the old one back. I work in technology, so am aware of processes and troubleshooting. This was a clear case for training your support reps to be uniform in knowledge, efficiency and delivery. I cracked my screen sometime last year, so I decided to finally utilizing my warranty and get it fix. On Sunday June 16, 2019 someone came out to my home and fixed the screen but after that my phone has not worked since. I can not receive any incoming, outgoing calls or text messages. I have no network, no service or no internet. It's not connecting any.
My phone worked perfectly fine prior to them repairing the cracked screen. I was able to call out using WiFi on Sunday but now that's not working. I had to download a calling app. just to be able call out using my WiFi. I took the phone to Verizon on Sunday they reset my network, repair the sim card, and it's still not working. Verizon referred me back to Asurion's customer service. They told me it will take up to 48 hours for them to even look at the claim. I explained to them that I am a contractor for Child Services and I can not be without my phone. If I do not have a phone, I can not work. They didn't even care. Day 2 without my phone, WITHOUT PAY and they don't seem to care.

Asurion is a horrible company. I filed my claim on 6.6.19 and they are still having issues completing my claim. I called and waited over 1 hour for them to only hang up on me. The representatives are rude and will hang up on you. In time of need you depend on your insurance company to have your back but Asurion makes things worse. I will be canceling my whole families subscription and hopefully ATT finds a better insurance company to work with.

I claimed for my iPhone XS Max 256 Gold on June 2, 2019, and the process started from June 7, 2019. There is no availability for my device till now, June 17, 2019. I checked online on phoneclaim.com, many times but it’s not working properly and when I tried to call the customer representative, they were like that only device matters, not color. Why so? They are showing me that I made a mistake to get that insurance policy because now they are demanding more 5-7 business days. I'll never suggest any of my relative or friend to get this policy. Even though we pay AT&T they would not handle the claim for us. Called Asurion and gave them our address 3 times and they still got it wrong. The customer service agent we spoke with was VERY hard to understand. We also felt rushed off the phone instead of appreciated as a customer.

Quick and complete service. Process was easy and very timely. Customer service representatives were friendly and caring. I would recommend to a friend. Had problems. First replacement sound didn't work. Customer service was great, then didn't send that replacement. So called again and all was handled quickly and efficiently, and we're up and going on our last replacement!! Very satisfied - sometimes things go wrong, but it was handled great.

They called and setup a time and day for helping me get my replacement phone to be made active. When they say they will call you to connect your new phone at an established time, they mean it. Right on the dot. They will walk you through everything and make it a smooth transition.

The lady who helped me was very polite and professional. She helped me transfer contacts and apps from my old phone to a new one. It was quite a lengthy and time consuming process but she was patient and called me back periodically to ensure the transfer went well.

Well I got my replacement phone in a timely manner but the whole having to print out the form scan it. It shouldn't be so difficult to file a claim. I had a couple of issues downloading and uploading but customer service was able to help me along the way and was able to help close out the claim.

The only problem I had was the price of the replacement. It stoned and I have a police report and I still had to pay 199.99. I don’t agree with that. I think it should be different people with police report. Should only pay 50.00 and people that don’t have one should pay the 199.99.

I went to AT&T to see about purchasing a new phone. My phone would only charge occasionally, was very slow, didn't connect to Bluetooth, and the buttons would stick. The salesperson really didn't seem too interested in helping me find a replacement. Instead, I checked an found out that you had me covered. I filed a claim and before I knew it, you had my replacement phone at my house. Easy as could be. Thanks.

My phone quit holding a charge, filed a claim. I received my replacement phone quickly. My replacement phone went straight into my protective cover. About 1 month later I noticed a crack developing from the speaker, contacted Asurion and was told $50 to replace the replacement device. Well, had no choice but to pay again. Inspect your replacement devices very very carefully, or you may be paying twice also.

Interesting that only "great" experiences enter the review arm. Your service sucks. Had to go through the whole ** process twice due to your poor service. The first thing I did was cancel my "phone insurance". Ironic that current TV ads claim customer care above "just OK" for ATT as you are both far below anything near "OK".

I have been on the phone over 3 hours with this company. We have a 64gig phone, on our account, that malfunctioned and would not recognize the SIM card. AT&T told me to file the claim with Asurion. The paperwork lists her phone as a tier3 $150 deductible. They argued with me that it is a 16gig phone and that it would cost 250!

Very quick and courteous. 5 star rating but you deserve a 10. Always knew where and when phone would arrive because Asurion kept everything updated right down to when it was delivered at front door. I don’t think you could ask for any more. Only thing we had trouble with was your overseas customers service cannot understand them and they probably can’t understand us.

The phone came in excellent shape, and it was shipped to me very quickly, too. The phone was also packaged safely, which kept it from getting damaged like the one it is replacing. I am sending my damaged phone back immediately, and I appreciate all of the accessories Asurion provided for me in the box to make shipping a whole lot easier.

I dropped my phone and the screen went blank. I called and got my replacement phone the next day even though I called after 6 pm eastern time. I have an older phone Galaxy S6 and was given a newer generation model Galaxy S7 Edge. The replacement phone looks very nice, almost looks like a brand new unit. The tech support set-up personnel was very patient in helping me set up the new phone. For the cost of the replacement phone, they even lowered it by about 25% of what I was supposed to pay. I saved a lot compared to getting a brand new unit and signing up for a new contract. The only thing bad about this experience is I was not able to transfer my data from my old phone to the new unit because my screen was totally caput, which was not the fault of the vendor.

It was difficult to complete the initial claim. Phone arrived quickly and was easy to swap with the broken one. The battery on my replacement phone is not good. It drains down to 1% quickly. Batteries maximum capacity is at 84%.

Terrible experience with this insurance and it’s crappy that I have to pay $200 for an $800 phone when we’ve had insurance for several years on all phones and never had to use it. The customer service reps are terrible, learn to talk, ENUNCIATE. Be courteous. At least pretend you like your job. Also sucks to get a refurbished phone, the earpiece is crackling when I am on the phone and the battery life sucks. I think from now on I’ll risk it and forgo the insurance option.

Great fast and easy shipping! Did not arrived on time as scheduled but claim was done on a Sunday after 2:00 pm so it was totally expected, still arrived on Tuesday before 3:00 pm and came with all the institutions needed to activate phone.
