    First, I replaced my phone screen on the iPhone X three times in 65 days at a cost of $184 each time - without insurance. So, for the XS max I decided to go with insurance, as they say screen replacement is only $29. Then, my SCREEN is fine, but the back of the phone cracks (as it is glass for wireless charging) ... and Asurion tells me it's a FULL PHONE replacement for $199. Begrudgingly, I pay the $199 and a phone shows up the next day on schedule. The claim process is easy. The phone they shipped me is broken out of the box.

    I speak with a tech coach who cannot help. Then get texts from someone at the hotline number who cannot help. Finally, after waiting on hold three times - I get a hold of someone who says that in order to help I have to print out a replacement affidavit, fill it out, and fax it back (or upload it) with a copy of my driver's license. TO FIX THEIR ISSUE I HAVE TO DO ALL OF THIS EXTRA WORK?!? Then, the email she promised with the affidavit did not even get sent via email as she said. I could not be less pleased with this process.

    I am beyond livid with the companies they have a business with regarding repairs. The technician is having car trouble so they had to reschedule and and the next available date is not until 7/3. I can’t comprehend how the cancellation is on their end and they can not accommodate the customer. Prior to that we went to one of the stores for a repair and the girl locked us out of the phone. We had to spend 2 hours at the Apple store for them to fix it. Verizon needs to pick a different insurance.

    The process to file a claim was quick and painless. It cost ~$150 to have the phone replaced, even after paying $13 a month to carry the insurance, but when something goes wrong, and your phone stops working for whatever reason (I dropped mine a month or so ago and the microphone stopped working, so I had mine replaced then. My son had dropped his up to a year ago and cracked the screen in a corner, and his just stopped working at random this week) you have a new one on the way, and delivered the next day. The ease of returning the old phone is helpful too. It's a tiny envelope and goes right in your mailbox.

    The people I have spoken to filing the claim have been polite and knowledgeable, and efficient. When I received the mailer telling me that the coverage/price was changing at the end of June this year, I was unhappy and was going to drop the coverage.     They refused to honor my insurance claim because when asked when the issue started I stated the date my warranty claim with Apple was denied instead of the day I switched SIM cards into my old phone. They said since my phone wasn’t active on the my wireless account the date I stated my claim denied. I’ve worked at AT&T in the past and I’m well versed in the customer agreement as long as the phone was active on the account within the last 14 days they are required to honor the claim. I still haven’t been able to resolve the issue with them despite multiple calls and emails to customer service.

    You fill paperwork out and send it in online or via fax but when you call them, the people you talk to can't even see it or tell you anything other than what their computer tells them. They can only tell you how to get your paperwork in the system and nothing else. Your paperwork goes to some secret room where they accept or reject it. You can't speak to them. You can't get anything done unless you have the main account holder copy their driver license and sign their paperwork and send it in. In a age where you can buy a house online, it's ridiculous.

    I was informed by Asurion AFTER receiving a replacement iPhone XR that my claim had been denied due to the phone being in use on the day that I filed the claim, but after the time at which I filed. The dome cracked due to overheating and when I try to file a claim they tell me they only cover “electrical and mechanical failures” ... for a glass dome. Zero stars for a protection plan that doesn’t actually protect anything.

    Dealing with this company has been horrible. We paid for an insurance plan on a 300.00 toy car for my daughter. The car front end completely broke, she couldn't drive the toy at all. So we filed a claim in January of 2019. It took almost six weeks before anyone contacted us, when they did they said they had the part to fix it. When we received that part it did not fit the car. So once again we contacted them. They stated they were having a hard time finding the part for this toy. No fault of ours. At this point it was now going on 4.5 months of no resolve to this issue. It would be weeks again before we had to call them, they informed us that bc it had taken so long they had closed the claim (this was the parts department). They bounced us back to Asurion, they in turn tried to bounce us back to the part department.

    At this point I had enough. I got a supervisor on the phone last week that promised me a call Tuesday June 25th with a resolve which I told her should just be to replace the broken toy with a new one, which should have happened months ago. Did I receive a call? NO! So once again I called Wednesday June 26th and was on hold for 10 mins waiting for a supervisor and was then told that one wasn't available and could they call be back in 2-3 business days. I promptly told the girl that if I didn't get a call today with resolve of this issue it would shewed out bad reviews from the mountain tops. This is by far the worst customer experience I've ever had with a company and to date my issue is not resolved, my daughter can't play with her toy which she asks about daily. She is three by the time it's resolved, she will be too big to even use it. I will never get a warranty with them every again!

    The experience in getting the telephone replaced was one of patience needed on my part. Had to go through two replacements to get to the present phone that I have. Sending in the first phone was a challenge in that there were no instructions as to transferring the information from my damaged phone to the replacement, reconditioned phone? Took to AT&T locally and the tech attempted to transfer the contacts, photos, texts, voicemails and games that I had on the damaged phone, losing several photos with some transferred in a negative format. The games that I had had on the phone for several years were totally lost???

    After getting the replacement reconditioned phone rather than a new phone, I had trouble with key reconnection, answering a call, turning the device off and on to attempt to reset, could not play games and sometimes answer a text? Contact was made to get this phone replaced and was told that you would extend the previous claim to replace the replacement phone, within two days, following a week plus called, talked to a claims person who indicated that the claim was in review, should be finalize the day of call. I received the replacement, took to AT&T where the tech this time was able to transfer all my new games, contacts, unanswered texts, voice mails, etc that was lost with the first go around. Tell you about the experience with the replacement of the phone; a good test of patience and forgiveness.

    I used Asurion to replace my months old iPhone due to a cracked screen. The process went smoothly, everything was great, happiness and joy. The new phone worked well for over a year. Then due to a battery issue, I took my Asurion replacement phone to the Apple store for a replacement and was promptly informed that what I thought was a real replacement phone was FAKE. 100% fake. I asked how could they prove it was fake and the Apple employee showed me how the Apple on the back was just a sticker, the top of the screen was not smooth and a host of other items which I (being a first time Apple user) did not know. I received nothing as a trade in for my FAKE phone and when I contacted Asurion they said that all phones they provide are "ATT refurbished phones." Short version - you can break your $700 phone and they will replace it with a $100 knock off.

    I bought the insurance for my camera which was explicitly advertised to cover "drops, spills and cracked screens" because I was going on a trip and afraid of any damage. However, when I submitted my claim form online, I was automatically rejected and not able to speak to a person. This company makes false advertising and after they take your money they just ignore you. Do NOT buy from them!!!

    Y'all did not help me the way I supposed to be helped. Someone stole my identity and cancel my phones. You put me into fraud. God. Did not handle me right. I am a disabled woman and I needed my phones back to be replaced. Y'all did not replace them. To go customer service stinks. The people who was helping me on the phone did not help me correctly. I am very dissatisfied with the company and I'm with AT&T. I have cable service so why would I do fraud on my two cell phones? I think y'all did not have them incorrectly. No one should be able to get into my information and cancel out my phone. I was robbed at gunpoint and y'all don't understand.

    Do not want no more service with y'all because you did not handle me like I supposed to be handled. These people can go into people account and get their information, order phones and getting a PIN code. How can people do that? I'm telling you who I am on the phone and you're not listening to me at all. I've been crying for the last 4 days. I cannot get no help from AT&T protection service. I think it sucks. Now my credit is ** up because of someone stealing my information. Did you say you cannot give me a refund of my money? I spent in the store in Miami 3101 North Miami Avenue at AT&T service Miami Florida 33127. I think that's wrong. Is someone needs to contact me about that my phone number is **. Y'all did not handle me right at all.

    The service was done in a timely matter and they were able to recover all my photos and all my addresses and all my information from my crashed phone to the new one that was sent to me. Very friendly and great listeners to work with at the Saint cloud AT&T.

    I had to call two different times last week for the same problem. That was to set up my new iPad to transfer information from my old iPad. The first person I contacted was a total waste of my time and her time as well in all fairness I would not give that person a rating however the second person I called whose name was Sierra resolved my issues in probably 20-25 minutes. My issue was resolved without any additional problems or need to contact the company I think she may have been someone from the Apple versus your company as I was transferred during the call. She was absolutely five star plus in ability and pleasant assistance.

I was very pleased with the rep interaction, promptness, and the peace of mind of knowing that the damaged device had been received.
