We had problems with the Apple app through the computer. I asked for a person to help us and we got an amazing young man who helped us through the process even doing a three way call to Apple. I would recommend Asurion to anyone!

My claim was taken and reviewed quickly and the replacement phone arrived the next day. Shipping the old phone back was hassle-free. I appreciate the ease of it all and the replacement being so quick. The customer service person I dealt with was very helpful and polite. They made sure all of my issues were taken care of.

I ran into the lake fully clothed with my phone in my back pocket when a grandchild was in trouble. He is fine. The replacement phone arrived promptly with clear instructions for setting it up. I was back in contact with the world faster than I expected. This insurance is well worth the price especially for someone who is accident prone.

Easy to use, phone sent directly to me. Completed two claims the same day. Phones shipped different times but still made it in time to continue everything I need to do. I'm glad I had the service agreement. I think just having the peace of mind. That I don't lose the whole investment of a quality phone.

Eric, the AT&T representative who helped me, was phenomenal. I've been dealing with this phone issue for over 6 months and he was the first one to take me seriously and diagnose the problem. Once he put the Asurion claim in, everything went like clock work - the notifications I received, the new phone, and then setting it up....perfect! I am a very happy camper.

Agent sent out my new phone, received it the next day. I didn't have the internet at home, so I had to go elsewhere to switch the phones and had called AT&T which transferred me to Asurion who transferred me back to AT&T tech support. But as I was talking to the agent we got disconnected. I gave up and went home.

Got my new phone not even 24 hrs later. Was fast and easy to setup. Claim was easy too. Happy that a rep is always there to walk through things. I like that the phone even came with car charger. New phone was very nice.

My wife’s phone could not be heard in spite of the volume settings. I filed an insurance claim online and received a replacement phone the next morning. Less than twenty hours later. It was fully restored and running like new by noon that day. Remarkable service turnaround.

I have had a good experience with Asurion. They have always been open with communication on each of my devices that I have needed to send in. I always get a quick turnaround on my devices being returned to me. Everything is explained and they use multiple ways to contact me, examples being email, mail and phone calls. I truly appreciate the detail that Asurion has given to me and my devices.

Everything went well. This claim was the second in about three weeks so it required a bit more time but we were satisfied. Once we turned off the find my phone feature, delivery of the new phone was less than 48 hours.

My daughter dropped her phone and it didn't work anymore. I received the replacement phone in only two days even though I made my claim on a weekend. Set up was straightforward and it was easy to send the broken phone in the enclosed envelope. I was impressed with Asurion's customer service.

There were a lot of complicated issues in getting my water-damaged iPhone replaced and all the info transferred to the new phone. I spoke to 2 or 3 people who couldn't help me before I hooked up with Josh at ProTech. He spent the whole afternoon with me on the phone -- literally hours and hours -- and walked me through everything I needed to do to get my new phone up and running. He was more knowledgeable than any tech support person I have ever talked to in any industry, and had the patience of a saint! He never made me feel ignorant (which I am when it comes to electronics!) and couldn't have been more friendly or pleasant to talk with throughout what I expected to be an ordeal. Josh is an exemplary employee and you should all be very proud of him and his abilities. I have no idea what you pay him, but I would wholeheartedly suggest he deserves a raise. Kudos!

Purchased a Frigidaire dryer from Home Depot in 2017. Submitted claim in 2018 due to dryer making loud noises. Was told no technician was available in my area to address. Was given another phone number to call, which I did, and no one ever returned my call. Fast forward to present and dryer breaks. Due to previous experience and lack of service, I had a neighbor/technician look at dryer and diagnose problem.
When calculating cost of replacement parts, discovered it would be half the cost of the dryer itself. Submitted a claim, had a technician come, said the parts would be ordered and would arrive in 3-5 days. Was then notified by Asurion that my claim had been denied due to misuse/abuse of a 3rd party vendor (due to the first technician having disassembled the dryer.) Was informed that I should assemble the dryer, provide documentation that the first technician was legitimate, and then they'll send their technician back out. Okay, so you want me to put the dryer back together only so that you can take it apart again? The first technician didn't abuse the machine. He did half of your job for you. Oh, and the 2019 problem is directly tied to the claim I originally filed in 2018, so if they had taken care of the problem initially instead of blowing me off, I wouldn't be here.

Ok so I started my claim with the thought process that it should be simple and quick. Well that has not been the case. I've finished everything with my claim except the payment of a $9.00 deductible. I've tried my debit card, my wife's debit card, and eCheck. Nothing has worked. I've been on the phone with probably 10 different Asurion customer support employees along with a supervisor and people from Verizon and from my bank trying to resolve the issue. NOTHING WORKS!!! I was told to give it 24 hours because they have been changing some of their systems but here I am again trying to pay this $9.00 and again it doesn't work. This has been the most annoying process and still nothing can be done to help me. So apparently I pay Asurion to insure all my devices along with the home care but not to replace any broken devices or even to help me with anything.

The screen replacement went poorly and caused more damage to the phone than the initial claim. However, Asurion was good about replacing the device upon learning that the new screen replacement was not responsive to my typing and was unilaterally typing things without the user touching the screen. The technician over the phone, Joey in Nashville, was extremely helpful in activating the replacement device.

The customer service rep that helped me activate my device was great. She was patient and thorough. Everything worked out great and I got everything back on my new device except for my pictures and I'm not sure why. My device was a bit delayed maybe because of the hurricane but I was basically without a phone for 7 days.

I Just placed a claim 10 minutes ago and I need to change the address where my replacement phone is being sent. Not willing to work with me at all. Horrible customer service!!!! I will be posting this on Facebook and Twitter as well.

I bought protection plan from Asurion with my KitchenAid refrigerator that I bought from Home Depot. My refrigerator stopped cooling so I called Asurion to set up an appointment for service. I called on Tuesday morning and was told the first available appointment was the following Monday and I would have to be without a refrigerator until then and let everything in it spoil. The service rep said that was the only thing they had to offer. This is unacceptable for a service contract so buyer beware of this no service company.

Claim was easy to file and phone arrived quickly. I have not activated it yet as I had purchased a new phone and have this one as a back up. I would recommend the purchase of insurance because the $150 deductible is better than the cost of a new $600 phone.

Awesome service... device was replaced with in 2 days. Had issue online with my pass code but called in and issue resolved and item was shipped next day with over night delivery. Item was well packaged, box was slightly damaged but the item had no damage at all. Thank you. Very happy with the rapid response and delivery.

Great. The only problem I'm having is cant get to my email. Forgot my password. But this service does a wonderful job. I went to the apple store and they told I had to wait seven days for them to send me a update on how to reset my password.

Absolute disaster of a customer service model. The company already processed a claim deductible payment over a week ago when it was filed, still no phone. The automated phone system is designed to annoy people so that they stop calling and give up or are forced to go online and wait another week for a useless scripted response, "no we didn't." Ashley tells me about my payment being processed last week, "would you like to complete your payment now?" After it took 20 minutes to get her on the phone it was clear she wasn't listening and she had no idea how to handle anything other than processing a payment.

Was very timely had my phone the very next day. I use my phone for work as well and one day without my phone can be a problem and so I rely on my phone for a lot of business related issues throughout the day. So I was glad Asurion was able to get me my phone to my house the very next day.

It was an easy, smooth and quick process. Submitted our claim mid-day and by end-day I had already received an email indicating the new phone had shipped. I offered a tech to assist with the activation of the new phone and they also had easy self activation instructions.

They are requiring physically signed documentation to be printed and uploaded to make the claim (you can't even e-sign). Without a printer and no access to a phone (THE ENTIRE POINT-you would think this would be thought of) this was near impossible. They asked me to borrow a friend's printer however when I went to access my email from another computer, it wants to send a code to my phone-duh. The process I was told was much easier when you have multiple devices on one account otherwise if you don't expect to jump through unrealistic hoops and go WITHOUT YOUR INSURED DEVICE for an unreasonable amount of time.
Customer Service was ZERO help. I am hugely disappointed, have additional costs due to not having my replacement in a timely manner, and have had no help when I called for assistance. Would never recommend- it gave the impression they really are just encouraging one to buy a phone out of pocket with the difficulty their process presents to the customer---- Are you preventing fraud or committing it Asurion?

The representative I spoke to was very helpful and was able to get the phone to me the next day in the color requested. This was the first time using Asurion and was happy with the service. I would recommend to anyone who need to replace or need to use the insurance plan with their phone service.

Overall, it was a very efficient process. The only complaint that I have is that it was my understanding that the replacement phone would be a new phone rather than a rebuilt phone. I was told that by Verizon sales personnel so it appears that they did not have the correct information. Other than that, however, the process was fairly easy and we received the phone quickly.

Once we were able to validate the primary person the process went well. We had an issue because our device was no longer available so we had to call and agree to the different device available. My phone fell into water and broke. I was a bit frustrated going through the online form when it got to a point that said to call Verizon, but Verizon couldn’t process insurance to send me to Asurion. VZW was helpful in transferring me and the Asurion agent was very polite and helpful. I had my new phone two days later and all is well again. Thank you!

I went to a fast food restaurant to grab something to eat was rushing to work and accidentally left my phone on the counter. By the time I realized I turned around and go back my phone was already gone. I was so sad but thank god AT&T send my replacement the very next day. I'm very happy but on the other token kind of unhappy cause I lose a few stuff my phone wasn't back up.

Don't waste your money. My phone screen broke to the point where the ink from the led lighting is oozing out. I filed a claim for a replacement device to which I was told I would receive my device in 1-2 business days. I am writing this 7 days later. Oh it gets much better. Just keep reading. After a couple days I started receiving emails that it has been delayed 7-10 business days. Those came in a few times before I reached out to them again to understand what was going on. I was told that the device was on backorder and I would receive it soon and to just keep checking emails. Few more days went by with no email.
Spent an entire morning tracking down numbers of who to speak with that could give me some answers. This is where I get slapped in the face. After talking with a few higher ups and a few store locations that carry the device and are willing to give it to me as long as Asurion approves the store pickup this is what I found out. The answer is no and here are my options. Wait. 'Til whoever knows when until the device shows up and gets sent to me. Was told there is no telling how long it can take, they may be making it so who knows. Take a check for the value of the phone to go purchase a new one at the same value. That sounded like a great idea until I realized oh wait!!! I owe money still on the device that broke bc it's on a monthly plan.
So I would take the check, apply it to the balance, pay the taxes on a new phone to upgrade being that they don't even have this device anymore and even if they did the check wouldn't be enough to pay for it bc they take the deductible out of the check. It clearly states in the contract that it goes on your bill so there's contract violation number 893 and then put the rest of the balance of the phone back on my monthly they plan. All of that related to NOTHING!!!!
So long story short. I paid insurance every month for years to only get my money stolen and forced to upgrade to a new device that I have to pay for!!!! It would have been so very simple for them to authorize a store pickup or even a different device. I don't care if it's an upgraded one or not. The reality of it all is they did nothing to try and remedy anything but cut me a check that's not even enough to purchase a phone and even if it was I'd have to pay off the balance of the one that broke to even get one. Out of pocket for that matter!!! So don't do it!!!! It would have been cheaper for me not to carry insurance and pay the account off and just upgrade. Would have saved me 300 when it's all said and done. SCAM!!! And I would have had a phone!!!! Now all I can do is wait for a check to cover my phone balance so I can pay for an upgrade. Unbelievable.

I've used Asurion for years, and had always been highly pleased. This is the first time I've been disappointed, but I'm at the point where I will NEVER deal with them again. My iPhone 6, purchased at Walmart 18 months ago, had volume issues and I initiated a claim on the phone because the website wouldn't give me the correct item choice (no 64 bit phone). Rep told me I would receive a reimbursement CHECK within 10 business days because my phone wasn't in stock. Great, I thought--just like previous claims. So I went out and bought a new phone immediately after surrendering the old one to them, because I monitor my elderly mother's life-threatening blood sugar lows on my phone, and can't go without one for days. So, within a couple of days, suddenly a replacement phone showed up at my house instead of a check, and not only that, but it was an inferior phone (the one I returned to them was a 64 bit, and they sent me a 32 bit).
I immediately called Asurion, and was told that the rep misinformed me, and that they HAVE to give me a replacement phone (even though on multiple previous claims, I was ALWAYS given reimbursement rather than a replacement.) She said "I have to give you a replacement unless we don't have it in stock." After I pointed out (with some heat) that they apparently DON'T have it in stock because the phone they sent me was not even the correct phone, the rep finally told me to ship back the new replacement phone, and they would go ahead and reimburse me because they didn't keep a 64 bit in stock. So, I surrendered the replacement phone to them. Over a week later, still no reimbursement and no communication, so I called to check on the claim status. After multiple times on hold, I was then told by another rep, "Sorry, absolutely under no circumstances can we issue a refund because we already completed the claim."
WAIT, WHAT?!? Ummm, nope--you haven't completed ANYTHING. I'm still out a phone, and received no reimbursement! "Oh, yes, ma'am, when we get the correct 64-bit phone in stock, we will send it to you." Oh, and how long will that take? "I don't know, ma'am. I have no way of knowing." Really? So, 1) I'm out the money I spent on a new phone after being told you would reimburse me. 2) Apparently, I'm not even going to get the reimbursement after being told by TWO reps that I will get one because you don't have the phone in stock.
And 3) Now, if I return the phone I've already purchased because the 15 day return window is done today, I'll be without a phone for weeks or months until you get one in stock? Wow. Just...wow. Asurion, after years of a good reputation, you have SO lost my family's business. You really need to get your act together, and take care of the consumer who purchased a $60 policy PLUS paid another $30 "service fee" to process the claim, all for a $200 Iphone. NEVER AGAIN.

If there was a place to pick up my phone or it shipped to me the next day, it would have been better. It's difficult going without a phone for a day.

We filed a claim over the Labor Day weekend, and were told the phone would arrive on Monday, which seemed unlikely. I expected it to arrive on Tuesday. I even got an email stating “you should have received your replacement phone”. I contacted Asurion and was given new tracking info. The phone arrived the next day, and my son said he had excellent assistance from the tech pro as he set it up. Even returning the damaged phone we no longer needed was easy. The delay in delivery was easily understood by a combination of a legal holiday and an impending hurricane landfall, so we truly have no complaint.

My replacement phone broke in 4 months. No problem, they sent me another replacement phone - but wait...this phone didn't work either! The phone crackled and wouldn't power up, when it did, the screen either froze or it powered itself off. How did this phone pass their QA process? Maybe they don't have one. So, I call and I'm told they have no phones in stock so I have to wait a week before they get another one sent to me - what! They wouldn't offer me another model either. So, here I wait, no phone for over a week and a half - now that's terrible service!

Asurion has the most unresponsive customer service team I have seen. I am not a complainer and have not filed a negative review on a company EVER. We have a cracked phone that my teenage daughter broke one evening in July (today is September 5th, 2 months later). The simple issue is that Asurion has incorrect information on the device. Their customer service team speaks well, assures me of prompt resolution, and then their 'adjuster' department refuses the claim for a dump technicality BY POST OFFICE MAIL -- no email, no text, no phone call as promised by customer service. I am up to 6 claims on this phone now, none online because Asurion has the wrong device for this phone number from some data entry typo on either AT&T or Asurion's side -- they had my daughter's iPhone XR listed as an iPad mini.
Within a few days of finding this out I called AT&T's tech support who called Asurion 3-way with me on the phone and told Asurion that the phone number was associated with an iPhone XR. All sounds good until I hear nothing from Asurion and get a letter 2 weeks later (after many more phone calls) saying the claim was denied. I even got to speak to one of the adjusters and he had received the incorrect phone number from Asurion customer service (we have multi-device protection, my daughter's is not the primary device and the claim had been entered on the primary device - wrong phone number) and corrected it. After 30 minutes on the phone with the adjuster he said it was all good once I submitted documentation. I submitted the documentation and once again got silence for many days and much later a letter saying the claim was denied.
Every time the claim is denied for the same reason -- 'this device was not assigned to this phone number at the time of the claim' --this is idiocy and I am as fed up with Asurion as I have ever been with any company. Not only that, my 15-year-old daughter asks for her new phone every day and is lucky to have her old iPhone 6 operational (barely) to use in the interim. What is a dad to do? A lawsuit for a $600 item seems like the biggest waste, but at this point I am running out of options. Does Asurion expect me to give up? My daughter cracked her one and only new phone and they simply will not replace it.
I wish someone at the company had a brain, but I believe their system is set up to never resolve a technicality. Will I ever recommend this company? No!!! Am I stuck with them? Yes, as long as my family has AT&T which we are generally satisfied with for >10 years of service. I'm at a loss and totally disgruntled. All in all I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with this company. For a $100+/hr engineer, that's quite an expensive waste of time that this company has put me through.

File a claim on Friday 8/30/19. I was not informed until Tuesday 9/3/19 when I called again that the claim was not complete since a copy of my driver license was required (something I was not told before). I immediately e-mailed a copy of my driver license. I was expecting the replacement phone on Wednesday 9/4/19 (they advertise overnight replacement). I waited until late in the afternoon then I called customer service. I spoke to a customer service agent who informed me that they were working on the claim but since they had to order the phone will take 3 to 5 days and the cost will be $186.00 and not the $100.00 I was told on 8/30/19.
I cannot comprehend how companies like AT&T, VERIZON and many others use this company. They are a total SCAM.. All Insurance companies out there the deductible is a set amount but ASURION decide at the time of the claim how much is going to be the deductible. Also FALSE advertisement, they advertise replacement the next day.

Asurion sent me my phone within 2 days and I was up and running in no time. The only hard thing was the set up. I had to go to an actual Verizon store to set up my phone since I couldn't receive text messages in order to set it up on my own.

The representative I spoke with to set up my new phone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My only con - I originally scheduled an appointment at 9 am Tuesday morning because the phone was set to arrive Monday night. It arrived Tuesday morning while I was at work which is fine, but I received 4 robot calls from 9-9:20am while I was at work that disrupted meetings.

The service is fast. But taking 110 deductible is not reasonable for Galaxy 7 which is outdated. I can get the same galaxy 7 for 100 in Amazon.com. I should have gotten latest device from AT and T instead of raising the claim.

Quick and easy. Flawless transactions. I was able to get the new phone in just one day and had no problems returning the old one. I would recommend this insurance to anyone. I filed a claim for a watch that my wife misplaced. We had just finished paying it off, and I had to pay the deductible for the claim. Well, the agent I spoke with asked what color I would like and I told her the same light gray/fog colored one. We receive space gray/black watch in the mail. Called them back, they said they couldn’t guarantee color. My wife isn’t going to wear the black watch. Very upsetting dealing with this company.

My experience was great. I called in due to me losing my phone. I was covered and just had to pay the deductible which I didn’t have at that time so my rep said it will go on my next bill. She put in my order and my phone was there the next day. The rep was patient and very helpful.

Great, fast, happy. The only thing is that I had to print out a paper, fill it out and submit it. I didn’t like that because I had no access to a printer (like some others) and that put a delay. You should give us the option to do on phone or online. Not printing.

My phone was delivered quickly and the same date I was told I would receive it. It actually got there sooner in the day than I was told so that made me happy. I opened my door and the phone was there ready for use. I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can add!

Asurion was unable to complete my request for a new device. For some reason my simple lost phone required "further authorization" which lead to a 3 day process. The agent who delivered my phone apologized saying she had never seen this issue before and could not explain my delivery taking 3x the expected delivery because I should have been approved for same day service. This same issue arose the second time I tried to use the Asurion service which was again unexplainable by Asurion.

The service was great but phone was returned over 3 weeks ago and I was told it was just received. I received a letter stating my credit card was going to be charged. Other than that the replacement was easy except for restoring my apps.

Spouse lost his phone. We waited a couple of weeks expecting to find it or have it find us.. but it didn't. So called and got a replacement within a couple of days. Loved the fast service. Verizon was very helpful on what we needed to do when we had to report it missing and so helpful when it was time to get a replacement. Yes I would. My claim was handle very fast. I had an answer within 24 hours of submitting my claim. The only concern I had the package was left on my side step without getting a signature. I ask them to come to the side because that were my door bell is. But other than that everything was handle well.

I love Verizon coverage and have been a loyal customer of Verizon since it first came to our area. I have not always been totally pleased with the Verizon stores and their associates, but AT&T does not have great coverage on my home or our lake cabin. I have never had the slightest problem with Verizon Coverage. This time my phone had a tiny crack and went totally black. I needed help so badly!! I taught school for many years and finally retired and use my phone constantly now to set up inservice for teachers and share what I know works. Asurion was prompt to replace my phone! My iPhone 6s plus required a cracked screen repair. A technician came to my house to do the repair. After the replacement the fingerprint ID wouldn't work. Apparently this is a common new problem after screen replacement. I was offered a re-manufactured replacement phone, same model, which arrived via overnight delivery. It looked brand new and worked perfectly!

Time of events was alright. The re-furbish phone has a couple of quirks in it. Sometimes I have to hit the return button a few times before it works. It seems slower than my old phone. At least the new one doesn’t call itself.

I only gave 4 stars because the first replacement phone I received had defects (could only talk/hear via speaker phone, video not working on FaceTime, and the battery only stayed charged for less than an hour). But I called back to report the issue and had no problems getting another replacement phone sent out. Overall good experience.

Filled out the paperwork then waiting 24hrs for a response with a broken phone. When they finally approved the claim they said I would get the phone the next day. 2 days later still haven't received the phone, and when I call or chat with them to get my tracking number they tell me there's no tracking number yet - check back in a few hours, still waiting for an answer.

I damaged an iphone8 but did have an insurance policy on the phone. I sent the phone through the 3rd party agency that AT&T use for insurance policies and did not receive the phone for 5 days even though they said I would receive the new phone back in 3. This kind of irritated me, but it was understandable because it was Memorial Day weekend. If we could do something to help make shipping faster on the weekends, I believe it will help you guys. It's an older model phone and the price from Asurion is almost as much as purchasing a renewed one. What is the point of paying $84 a year for the service?

Had a tablet that got broken while I was traveling from work. I called while waiting at the airport between flights, filled out an affidavit and emailed it back and got my replacement the next day at my hotel. They even gave me a prepaid package to return the old one in through USPS and notified me when it was received. Both reps I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints at all about this service.
