Filing a claim to get a new phone was easy and I was able to get a new phone the next day! The claims process is super easy, online friendly, and easy to navigate. I am very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Asurion was awesome. I lost my phone, went to AT&T, told them what had happened. They called Asurion and within 24 hrs. I had a new phone. People could not have been nicer or more helpful. I would recommend everyone getting Asurion Ins. as without it I would not have been able to replace my phone so quickly.

My claim was filed by the tech at the AT&T store and the new phone came just a few days later. This process was very easy which I appreciated! The new phone came quicker than I anticipated. There was a number inside for help setting up the new phone and transferring all info. This policy was well worth what I costs per month! Thank you!

We had 2 incidents with phones that were damaged. Both situations were handled quick and easy. One was online. We submitted the claim and within days we were delivered a new phone for a reasonable price (deductible). The second was by phone. It had a bit more to fill out and sign but because we had never submitted a claim on this phone line. Again, after doing the paperwork the phone was delivered within days. Replaced screen on s9 Plus then about a week went by and it started cutting itself on and off. Tried all the regular fixes and that did not work. So you guys replaced it because the phone was under warranty from screen being fixed. Thank you. Very easy process and timely delivery.

Asurion takes your money for a protection plan and then makes you jump through impossible hoops to get any service. I was on the phone for 45 minutes giving them all kinds of item numbers etc off my receipt only to be told in order to get any service I would have to mail my receipt??? In this day of computer technology this year old receipt is needed???

Return went well and received phone in about 4 days I believe. The customer service person didn’t read the communication at first but she understood eventually after I explained it again. I think maybe more patience when dealing might be helpful to training employees.

Received a new phone within 26 hours of ordering due to breakage. You don’t get that kind of service too often! The insurance is worth it’s price as new phones are getting very pricey. Recommend getting insurance even if you don’t think you’ll need it.

My iPhone kept freezing up and the geeks at the local Apple Genius Bar said it had suffered water damage. Even though it was protected in a top-quality case, some condensation had apparently gotten in. Asurion was quick to replace it although I had to repeatedly confirm to details of the replacement with them.

At first I had an issue submitting my request as the website would not find my account so I had to call in. Once I called in I was able to submit the request. After several days I never received my watch so I went on the website to follow up and found that the watch was not in stock so I had to resubmit a request and received the watch several days later. So not the smoothest process but in time received my replacement watch.

Baling hay and dropped phone, must have run over it with tractor because screen was very broken. We took phone to Verizon, called you all and you sent a new phone. We had info transferred from the old phone and sent the damaged one back.

It took 3 days to get the phone. I was a little disappointed I got a refurbished phone instead of a new one. I’m a pretty good customer with AT&T and have been for many years... it comes with no warranty. Now I’m paying insurance on a refurbished phone and if something goes wrong in the near future my deductible will be higher for a refurbished phone...???

The representative was very friendly to speak with. But maybe could be more specific on the steps. There were a few times were she was asking me for numbers from the box. But wasn’t specific on where to get the number until I asked clarifying questions. The SIM card number was needed but she was telling me to look at the box instead of the SIM card.

I had my iPad stolen, and they were quick to replace it and delivered it before my trip. When I needed to activate the iPad, they were able to turn off the stolen iPad and activate my new one. They no longer carried the iPad mini that was stolen so it was upgraded to the newest version. I love Asurion!

When I received my package from Asurion to turn in my cracked S10+ phone for repair, they stated that you must Factory Reset your phone for it to be seen. Worried, I called Asurion, where the tech informed me that as long as I sent a letter in with my device saying that I didn't want it factory resetted, it was fine. I asked her if I could turn in my case so that whoever picks it up doesn't touch the glass on the edge, she said it would be fine. I put my phone in. Three days later, I received my package. I got an orange letter saying "PHONE NOT REPAIRED" with the listed reason as Factory Reset Not Disabled. The phone had no packaging to keep it from cracking when thrown, and was loosely fitted in a piece of cardboard with a cheap plastic film over it. There was a hastily plastered plastic film over the screen which entirely missed the crack. No case.
I turned on my phone and was greeted by "UICC MISSING" and "SIM CARD MISSING, INSERT SIM CARD". I called Asurion, who said that it was my fault, and that I can't include a note or a case. I told them that I require my SIM and UICC back to use the device. They told me they destroyed it upon receiving it. I told them my device wasn't repaired. The rep screamed at me, "YOU ARE NOT GETTING YOUR ITEMS BACK, THEY WERE DESTROYED!!" and then proceeded to hang up on me. I now have a cracked phone that has no service, missing UICC and SIM, and no case to use it without getting shards of glass in my hands.

He was nice. I could tell he knew his job. He was doing a little too much of the “ooh girl yes”. I didn’t complain on the phone because I knew he was just trying to make me feel comfortable, but he should try to calm down on that just a tad bit. It’s okay to say it, but too much is overwhelming and uncomfortable. Again he was sweet, and the ship sailed fast and smoothly!

My phone took a swim and I needed to either buy a new one or use the insurance I’ve been paying for, for about 5 yrs. I went to the ATT store and looked at the new phones and the cost, called my kids for advice. Took theirs! Wow. Called and was able to talk with someone who knew the process and that was able to improve on the older phone I had. Doubled my Gigs and the size fit my old cases. The transfer of 5 yrs of info went superb. I don’t mind not having all the newest bells and whistles because I would have another learning curve. This phone will still take me to the moon and back. Had the best ever experience.

The price is a little outrageous to get a new phone being I spend money every month for insurance on my phone and the copay is 200 but other than that no complaints, the phone works like new with no problems.

Online submission was a bit tricky due to replacement phones being out of stock. However, once I called it in, the rep was friendly, fast and helpful. Got a phone of equal value within a day of submitting the claim. The process of activating the new phone was also smooth. Sending the old phone back to Asurion was quite smooth as well: throw it in the provided prepaid envelope and mail it off. Would definitely recommend having protection for your phone through Asurion!

Phone screen was cracked due to me being clumsy. I did not even know I had insurance. When I went to Verizon to find a replacement phone, the person helping me asked if I tried to replace it with my insurance. He gave me your contact information. The person I spoke with was very courteous and helpful and I got my new phone the next day. It came with detailed information on starting up my phone and it also came with a return envelope to return the broken phone. They sent me an email to let me know they received it. Thanks.

Easy to work with and super fast! I Was worried we were going to have to jump through millions of hoops but it was honestly the opposite. They were friendly and explained everything from start to finish. We got our replacement in a couple of days and they took the broken one. I tell everyone to insure with them as I don’t hesitate to keep our insurance going.

Given the runaround about a product that did not last two weeks before falling apart. Filled out two claim forms and now they want another. Spoke on the phone twice. Not worth my time. NEVER AGAIN. I was forced to “rate them”. I wouldn't give them one star for help with this product.

Had a claim through the DirecTV Premier protection plan. I was sent a refurbished computer which was defective on arrival. Instead of taking responsibility and replacing the damaged item, they blamed me for damaging it, and have repeatedly told me that there is nothing else that they can do. I've been calling them, AT&T, and DirecTV for 6 months and have finally given up. This was my only claim after paying for their "service" for 2 years. Never again!

There was a very Quick turnaround. Tech support was great with set up and password reset. My update on coverage included Cloud space which was great. I don’t really know what to do about deleting old stuff off phone in cloud since old phone didn’t work at all.

My only complaint was you are not open on the weekend, so my daughter had to wait 3 days to process her claim. The overnight delivery was nice though. Also, I feel like the deductible was rather larger considering how much we pay for insurance every month.

The experience was great. Now that the phone is in use. I am finding the battery seems to be weak. The charge last a few hours, but ready should be stronger. Everybody I dealt with on the phone was wonderful and when they said they were going to call me back they called me back. I talked to one girl, I wish I remembered her name. She was so sweet coz I was so upset and she said, "Don't worry, my mother's the same way with her phone. She doesn't know what to do." And she was just so kind and wonderful. Upon purchasing my lawnmower @ Walmart.com just over 1 year ago, Asurion was the only choice of warranty. I purchased the 4 year total coverage. I have a very small lawn and feel at my senior age and ability, I can manage the upkeep with my own mower. Last month, the mower would not start. Engine was completely dead. I alway keep it in a shed out of the weather and any abuse or harm. My online claim was shut down saying my specific coverage did not cover my specific problem. (Which was never stated).
I called and spoke with the agent at Asurion and he assured me all was well, issued a claim number and told me 3 business days. I gave it 5 and tried to be patient. The following WEEKS have been me reaching out in email and phoning. No progress. In one day, within an hour time span, I have an email denying my claim, approving my claim and issuing a new claim number. Weeks passed again. The homeowners association are now telling me to mow or face steep fines for having an unmowed yard. Either option involves cash payout from me.
I caught an agent to speak with (unbelievable) and she said I had an appointment at a repair facility 1 hr and 45 minutes away from me. This appointment still involved waiting for confirmation of this appointment. I asked her if there was nothing closer. I have to lift this mower into my small hatchback and go down the intersate with my hatchback open for an hour and 45 minutes? Then again when it's repaired to bring it home? She found a new service center only one hour away. This again, would be pending until the service center approved and called me. She promised to email me details.
Service center tells me they have nothing at all from Asurion. I have never gotten responses to phone calls or emails to Asurion. It's just gone silent. Today, I must pay for a repair, buy a new mower, or pay for lawn service permenently! I did pay the one week I was required to by HOA. This is a fraudulant company! They do nothing to help. They do not respond to communications. A disgrace. Bad look on Walmart as well to have this company as their carrier. The peace of mind I thought I was gaining by purchasing a 4 year plan was a huge mistake!

I bought the extra insurance for my Apple Watch Series 3 with some apprehension. In the past I've had pretty bad experiences with these types of plans (they usually find ways to avoid paying claims). NOT the case here. A few days ago I dropped my watch and the face popped off. I tried to fix it to no avail and, started shopping for a new watch... Then it occurred to me that I had bought the extra insurance. I figured I'd give that a chance before shelling out $750. I'm glad I did. The claim took 5 minutes at most to file and a brand new replacement arrived the next day (not a refurbished one -- a brand new one). I'm astounded at how easy the whole process was.

Probably the worst customer service I've had. Sent me a phone that wouldn't make phone calls/receive them nor send/receive texts. Phone shut itself off randomly over 25 times in one day. When I went to request a new phone they made me fill out a new claim and was told I would hear back in three hours. They never contacted me and when I contacted them at the end of the day they said they would send me one if I put a hold on my card. This is all after spending $200 for a deductible on top of the monthly charge I already pay for a phone that doesn't work at all and is now 4 days without having a functioning phone.
When I shared this frustration with them they said they are not allowed to give any kind of refund and can only apologize for the inconvenience. I don't know a single business that requests funding of something but when that business does not deliver to a quality performance, does not do anything to remedy the situation. Airlines, restaurants, stores, you name it... all help to give SOME type of credit or discount to apologize for an inconvenience. I'm extremely disappointed with this company and will be looking for a new service immediately.

My wife lost her phone after multiple attempts to file the claim they kept denying the claim and the reason was Asurion's terms and conditions weren't met and they would not replace the phone and talking to AT&T couldn't do anything either and now my wife is without a phone. I purchased a Samsung Flex Washer from Home Depot November 2017. On July 1, 2019, I called Asurion because my washer did not work. It would not power on. They sent the repair company A&E Factory to look at my washer. It was determined that my washer needed a few parts. The parts were ordered and the repairman came back. He changed the parts and the washer still did not work. He called Tech Support and was told that he needed to change "other" parts to get it to work. New parts were ordered and again the same problem.
On August 12, 2019, Asurion sent A&E Factory repair back to replace another 3 more parts and my washer still does not work. Asurion tech support has decided that they still need to change yet "another part". So we are now at 10 parts changed on my washer that has cost approximately $900 in parts and approximately $1,000 in labor and my washer still does not work.
A supervisor at Asurion told me today (August 13, 2019) that they will continue changing parts until its deemed "unrepairable". In the meantime, I am having to take time off from work for these fools to try to repair my washer. Asurion is the WORST warranty company I have ever worked with. They have literally spent more money trying to repair the washer than what I paid for the washer. They have the worst customer service, they don't seem to care that I am having to take time off from work and to top it off they barely even reimburse you any money for having to pay out of pocket to do my laundry.
If you are buying an appliance, please ask who the warranty will be from. If it is Asurion, please do not buy the warranty. You will never get your appliance fixed and you will have to wait a very long time to see if they will replace it. I am now at week 5 with no washer. My washer is still not fixed and at this time I have no idea when it will be fixed or if they will even replace my washer. I really am so mad at the fact that I have the worst warranty company for my washer!!!

I had purchased a security camera through Amazon with a 2-year warranty through Asurion. The camera became defective and I had to return for warranty just after the one-year mark. I contact Asurion and they emailed me the return forms and I mailed my camera to them and confirmed they have received it. It has been two months and I have not received my warranty cheque. They have "sent it out" twice, but apparently there is no way to track, no way to know if I am expected to receive the cheque without waiting the 15 business days and then calling back in, only to be told they will re-issue it once again.
There is no escalation process and no way they will send via registered mail with a tracking number. I am receiving all other mail to my house except this. I have confirmed my address every time and I have lived at this residence for over 20 years so nothing has changed. I am beyond frustrated because I am expecting no cheque again, and while the amount is not significant, it is the principle of the matter.

Our Bad Boy mower has needed repairs on two occasions. In neither was the warranty of any value. The first was when the mower was very new. It needed service. I had bought the mower after being told that service would be provided by a local company I knew, and had utilized in the past. When I called for service, I was told that company was no longer servicing Asurion, and they sent me to a different service company. I took the mower in, and left it.
After a month I called and asked for a progress report. They told me they had not looked at it, it would be several more weeks before they would look at it, and then it would probably be a couple of weeks for them to work on it. They suggest three months was a probable time they would have my mower. I discussed the matter with Asurion, and was told that was the way it was, too bad for me. Recently the motor seized. It will not be covered, according to the dealer. I will not buy any product covered by Asurion ever again in the future.

Asurion was amazing. My daughter lost her Gizmo Gadget and we made a claim to have it replaced. I made the claim with a helpful and clearly understandable operator. I received the replacement item the next day! Wow. Unfortunately, getting it activated through Verizon was neither easy nor amazing, but that has nothing to do with Asurion. Each of the two women who helped me were extremely helpful. I was on the road home for over an hour and a half with one of the ladies helping me troubleshoot. She took me painlessly through each step. When I got to talk to claims, it was simple and easy.

Submitting the claim was fast and easy. The phone arrived the next day and the instructions were clear on how to activate. Overall the process was very simple. Having the insurance was extremely beneficial allowing me not to have to purchase a brand new phone. The phone appears to be like no I am is functioning as it should.

Your representatives were very kind and helpful and walked me thru every step. A very great experience. I would definitely recommend to all my family and friends. I did not have any trouble contacting Asurion. My new device was received the very next day. Included in the package were instructions on how set up and the next steps that I needed to do.

5.5 hrs of phone calls over 3 days to get approval due to phone carrier error. Disconnected multiple times or put on hold waiting to get approval from claims dept but then another 24hrs to get approval from advanced claims specialist. Asurion tries to wear you down. Not worth the headache! I recommend another company.

The phone exchange was great! There was a bit of an issue transferring info phone to phone, but that wasn't Asurion's fault. Everyone was very helpful while trying to transfer the information. It was a good experience and we were very glad the insurance had been purchased. Thank you everyone!!

Two phones were in need of service. Asurion quickly resolved both issues. Thanks. The repair technician was on time and repaired my broken screen within minutes. The other phone had sound issues and the replacement was delivered in about 24 hours. Now that’s quick service. I do believe it’s worth the price.

Phone came the next business day, I submitted the claim at 3 pm and it was delivered by 9 am the following morning. Great service. The package came with easy to follow instructions for returning the old phone as well as a return label and packaging tape.

My daughter dropped her phone in a lake and was highly upset. I called Asurion to see about replacement. Because of our insurance plan we got a new iPhone 8 plus delivered in 3 days for $125 (deductible). This saved the day for my daughter and hopefully also taught her a lesson about when to have her phone out and when to put it away!

Asurion provided a warranty experience that meets all of my expectations. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. The service was very fast from notification that I needed to use the warranty to delivery of the replacement and support thru updating and installing my information on the new device. First replacement phone did not work properly... when I called back in to tell customer service about it, the new replacement phone was shipped out ASAP and everyone I dealt with was super friendly and helpful. The replacement phone was delivered really fast, and is in great condition. My overall experience was extremely great!

Very easy to follow steps. The only part I didn't understand was it wanting to make a standing appointment to change devices. I didn't know the time it would arrive so how I could make an appointment? That stage I didn’t see an option to opt-out. Otherwise very easy and like the fact they sent me an email saying they received the device.

New device received the next day, AT&T transferred my information and files. Everything need to return of device were provided right down to the packing tape and shipping label. lol I had to do was drop it off at the Post Office. Extremely satisfied with the whole process and service.

I was not happy with the timing and professional quality I received. We hope to never deal with this again... We have used our insurance before and I never had to go through such a process. Then after almost 2 weeks 2 people promised the phone would arrive Monday, only to find it Tuesday.

The representative I spoke with to get my issue looked into and a claim started was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all my questions, informed me of how things would happen and when to expect to receive the product I needed. He set up a follow-up call for when I would get the product to ensure I had no issues replacing the damaged part.

Courteous and extremely prompt. Someone dumped cola on the phone and quit working in evening. Liquid got under case and I didn’t realize this. Asurion handled claim quickly and with courtesy. Replacement phone arrived and within two days it had issues. Called them and they sent another replacement.

Asurion sent a refurbished phone, which then received a crack while in my pocket on the same day we received it. When we went to have cracked screen repair, motherboard tested bad. Asurion refused to replace it due to the crack on the screen. Which the tech at the screen repair facility said the crack glass had nothing to do with the bad motherboard and said it was probably bad when I got it. I was happy to pay for the screen replacement which I did twice but I refuse to pay another 200 dollars for a phone that might be bad again and they also refuse to fix the motherboard which is less than a month old.

I lost my phone and called Verizon. Everyone was so helpful. They gave me my phone information and the Asurion # to make claim and in 24 hrs I had my replacement phone. Just wish I never lost my phone. Thanks everyone for a job well done.

My daughter's cell phone was stolen while traveling overseas. Upon returning to the States, we filed a claim online through Asurion. The online reporting process was quick and easy. The replacement phone was out of stock but Asurion frequently updated us regarding potential delivery dates and the phone arrived about 8 days later. We were very pleased overall with the process and experience.

No screen replacement available for my device, original replacement phone sent damaged and malfunctioning, unhelpful customer service and device on backorder which makes this "insurance" useless. I would go out of my way to encourage anyone else to never opt in for this lack of service.

My experience with this insurance claim was exceptional. It took less than 5 minutes to file my claim, and I received my replacement phone in less than 48 hours, with literally zero hassle! Popped my damaged phone in the prepaid return mailer and I'm back in business!

Have made a couple claims over a few years and happy with the service. Deductible is the same for new or refurbished devices and you don’t get to pick it, just depends on availability. Might be better to have different prices for new or refurbished.
