Replacement for my daughter’s lost phone arrived as promised. The process was simple to perform and I was pleased with the results. I am very happy that I had insurance for the family. Now I just have to make sure that she backs up her phone on a regular basis.

Could not clear my phone of information due to broken screen. How does Asurion assure the phone returned is erased upon its receipt? It would good to know the process followed or the procedure for removing data for the phone.

The technician was on time and replaced the broken screen. However, the next day my iPhone got wet and the screen allowed water to ruin the phone. They did replace the phone the next day. So, although the repair failed, the company did replace the phone immediately.

Very helpful AT&T was not and I left for Verizon. She helped me try to decide best option on paying for replacement and selling. I have 4 kids and I didn’t get replacement till Tues and I broke phone sat morn. With 4 kids that was way to long to have no phone. That is my issue with the ins company but the girl was nice!

Easy to fill out service request form and fast service. When we made a mistake and ordered the wrong phone it was fixed over the phone in 5 minutes. Got our phone in 2 days and used the guide to transfer data from one phone to another.

I received my replacement phone quickly and easily. No hassle in any step of the process. Everyone was polite and helpful. I definitely would recommend to a friend and will always keep my devices insured. I was also relieved to get confirmation that they had received the broken phone back through the mail. I was glad to know they got that.

The time on receiving my phone was great. I had the Samsung Note 5 and it is larger than the Galaxy 8 I received. I do wish I had received the 8+. I work with the Sheriff's Department and I type information on my phone all the time. The Note 5 was great and the Galaxy 8 is harder to work with each day. Thank You.

Had a good experience. The reception wasn't very good as I was talking to the rep, reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, everything was handled efficiently. I got my phone in a couple days and proceeded to take it to a Verizon store to get all the info transferred.

Replaced a phone that had been in a car accident. The transition between phones was very easy and the replacement came quickly. Great customer service. Speaking with customer service was easy and provided great information. Enjoy getting a follow up on the entire process.

Thank you. The replacement phone came quickly. I mailed the broken phone back in the supplied envelope that was supplied to me thru Asurion. I received a letter reminding me to send back the phone that was already sent back and an email that they received the phone. It was good communications.

The first replacement phone didn't work - the speaker was broken. I got a second replacement which worked out well. The process was efficient and I was able to capture some of my contacts and photos through Google. I didn't have cloud so not everything was saved. Overall, I feel fortunate to have good insurance on my cell phone.

My phone took a ride on top of my car, and although it was found and still worked (as best it could), the screen was pretty much shattered. I felt like Asurion’s decision to replace the phone was the best call, and I did receive it in a timely manner. Thank you for your prompt service.

The quickness of getting a new phone to me was great. I just found it weird a week later I received an email from you about a totally different phone that I needed to send to you. I had sent the broken one back, and was asked to send back a perfectly good phone that had nothing to do with my claim.

Halfway thru I was disconnected and the operator didn't even attempt to regain contact... I had to go through the entire process again. My paper said the deductible was $99 but Asurion said it was double that, which sucked. This was not an easy process to get through.

The process was easy and accessible, and Asurion was efficient in getting the replacement to me. The only thing I didn’t realize was that I was provided a refurbished phone rather than a new one. The directions and return were clear.

I lost my iPhone X about a month ago and I claimed for a replacement phone the very next day. After completing all the documentation and uploading, I received an email from Asurion team asking me to contact them. I called them and they said that my claim is not relevant and I have done some program abusing which I did not understand at first and tried to claim again. I claimed thrice and got denied all the time. I called Asurion again to get the details on the charge they have against me of program abusing but every time they just kept on telling me that I have done done some sort of program abuse and I should read the terms and conditions.
I do not get this. Why is this liar company even selling insurance when they cant help people in difficult times. I am really very disappointed from their service and I request all of you never to take insurance from this fraudulent company. They sell you insurance an when something bad happens they just make excuses and refuse to help you without giving any explanations.

Great service, fast shipping! I'm thankful Asurion is my insurance carrier! Phone arrived in original packaging with original charger earbuds etc. Would definitely recommend anyone from AT&T to get this budget-friendly service. I have had Asurion for about 3 years now and wouldn't change them for anything. I wish the deductibles were a little more budget-friendly but it's fair.

I've had insurance for 3 years and it was my first claim. Went to the AT&T location and the rep filed my claim. It was very easy and quick. Got my phone the next day! We needed to upload existing information from an old device to a new device, and Baiynah walked us through every step, including charging the other device for two-factor authentication (which we absolutely hate and will never do again). Baiynah called us back even, to complete the upload. She was so patient and knowledgeable. A true hero when we had severe technology fatigue.

Contact was easy, and the phone was on its way immediately. I got updated tracking emails immediately and had the phone 24 hours later. Of course, this was for my daughter after she dropped it in a river, and the thing that gets everything to go smoothly and quickly is daddy's $149.

Service is great but the price is an arm and a leg and it only gets more expensive. Guess that’s just the price we pay for technology. I believe that loyal customers should also receive some kind of monthly credit towards their bill if they have been with AT&T service for over 10 years like myself. At the end, I am spending half my monthly check paying AT&T.

Had my iPhone stolen at Disney, you guys replaced it in a timely manner. The only thing I was not happy with was the cost to replace it. I feel if I lose it and have to pay $200 I at the least should get the latest version of the phone. I pay almost $500 a year in insurance.

It was a struggle to go through the security hurdles as I lost my phone and had my Google account suspended. However, the phone operators followed protocol and led me to the Flagship AT &T store in San Francisco. It took 4 days to get fully f(x). I am genuinely grateful for the security to maintain my number and service and settling my claim in a timely manner. Kudos to all involved.

Everything went smoothly and in a perceived amount of time. Just a little glitch with my brother ‘s address: Kelly **, 1500 **. Package was addressed to 150 **, wrong address! I had the package held for pick up in Port Huron at the UPS for pick up. Thank goodness for tracking!

Phone was for my son who is attending CU in SC. The phone arrived on Saturday but the mailroom on campus was closed. The FedEx driver call me telling me he had my phone and was trying to deliver it to me. I explained to him that the phone was for my son who was on the campus. The driver waited for me to contact my son so he could deliver the phone. Big ups to you all!! :) :)

I couldn’t have asked for better service. I made a claim for my phone completely online on Friday afternoon and received my replacement phone by noon the next day (Saturday). I thought for sure I wouldn’t see it until Monday. Set up was extremely easy and they provided a shipping label to return my damaged phone. Good job Asurion!!

I thought that filing the claim was a little too complicated. I understand you have to protect against fraud, but that makes us legitimately making claim frustrated when filing. Once I filed the website said my watch was shipped, but I received multiple emails stating it was delayed. I called after 4 days and the reason was my watch was out of stock. Finally talked to an agent and they offered a different color in watch, which I'm totally fine with. After that shipment was super fast and activation easy. Just wish you would have contacted me earlier when I claimed to offer the other option.

I HAVE CALLED 4 TIMES AND STILL CANNOT GET AN APPT FOR SOMEONE TO FIX MY DISHWASHER. 1st appt set up for Wed but the place called said they could not come Wed. It would be Friday. I called Asurion back to find someone else to come sooner than that. CAN'T GET ANYBODY to do it.... What is wrong with this C.S. Next appliance I buy if they have this company I will not buy that appliance. I will now go to BBB.

Getting the warranty coverage for a new screen on Samsung Note 8, went smooth. I ask for a certain store for repair, but had problem with attitude from the asst manager there. I called back to Asurion to get a different location for the repairs. After an hour on phone with customer service, I was told that the switch was ok and I scheduled a time with the new location for when they opened on Sunday. New locations could not find a switch order for them when I arrived and said I had to go through Asurion to change. Call and talked to customer service, they could not find where I had talked to anyone.. After waiting they said that a switch could not be made. I had to go to the original store. 1 1/2 hours on phone to find out they lied to me. They just could have said it could not be done and that would have been the end of it. As it turned out wasted over 2 1/2 hours on phone and driving between locations.

Between Verizon and Asurion I spent over an hour and a half on the phone to walk away with a Samsung S9 64 Gb and $150 less on my credit card. I had a Moto Z Force 2 128 Gb. They didn't have any and after paying $50 per month to cover 4 phones the best they can say is I'm sorry this is what we have in stock!

It took only a couple of days to get my new/refurbished iPhone from the time I reported my old iPhone damage online; however, I couldn't report the damage online from my home computer, because I couldn't get past security. The website kept asking me for a code which was being sent to my damaged iPhone which at the time I couldn't even power on. So, I ended up having to go to a local AT&T store to help me out. Perhaps it was because I was trying to reach Asurion through my myAT&T account.

Our customer service at the store was wonderful. I wish I had gotten his name but we were in a hurry. He was efficient and pleasant. We put the claim in at the store with no paper hassle. We received the phone within 1 business day. I would highly recommend this company.

My replacement phone was not in stock and took over a week to get it. Once I did get it the person I talked to in the tech department was very helpful in getting the new phone activated and because my old phone was broken preventing me from accessing it, she helped me to get the data I wanted to transfer to the new phone from Samsung's backup files. Other than the delay in getting the phone, everything went well.

My iPhone 8 died and wasn’t even paid off yet. Asurion overnighted me a refurbished iPhone very poorly packaged that was banging around inside box (twice). Unacceptable. On my 3rd call I asked to talk to a manager. She arranged for me to buy new iPhone at AT&T and be reimbursed by Asurion with proof of receipt. I emailed the receipt yesterday, so hopefully I’ll get check back ASAP. Asurion definitely needs to learn to pack an iPhone in bubble wrap or a box that prevents the refurbished iPhone not to bang around loosely in a box all the way from TX to TN to HI. I appreciate that I was finally able to get a phone.

The only issue I had was I was getting my Apple Watch delivered to my job and I specified that. Yet FedEx refused to deliver because the name of my company was not on the label so I had to drive 35 miles to FedEx to pick it up. Wasn’t happy yet my watch was replaced.

I had to replace my iPhone due to it being cracked on the inside. I went to AT&T and they said I had to go through Austin. It was speedy and had no problems. Customer service was great. I had no problem getting through on the website. I also had no problem with the wait time to get phone and to get it activated.

My phone started messing up. Random apps would just start popping up, even though I would not be touching my phone. Apple told me to go to AT&T and file a claim. Filing a claim with Asurion was surprisingly easy and I received my replacement device super fast. My experience was great.

I was having trouble logging into my e-mail. Two technicians at AT&T said my phone was at fault and I needed a new phone. I put in a claim for another phone. When I got my new phone I had the same problem. I went back to the AT&T shop and a different tech said the trouble was my p/w. I changed my p/w and problem solved. I'm disappointed in the other 2 techs as there was really no problem with my old phone.

Asurion acted quickly and I received the replacement phone as scheduled. Unfortunately, the Protech service kept our phone appointment to activate the new phone by calling my dead phone number, although I had given an alternate number. I missed their three calls (of course, phone dead) and called Protech directly myself. The technician, Jasmine, sounded like she was about to fall asleep the entire time, bored and uninterested. She didn't obtain a callback number from me, so when the call was dropped I just ended up doing the activation myself. I had to go to my local AT&T store the following day to complete the process. So not great. Love Asurion, hate Jasmine.

The problem was easily solved. My device was replaced in a timely manner. Communication with staff was polite and professional. There was not a lot of time that I needed to talk to computer voice. The hot spot was replaced quickly. The cost was reasonable at $19. I would recommend getting Asurion Insurance to a friend.

Entered the claim online; process took about 5 minutes (including resetting my AT&T password cause I can never remember it). The phone I received as a replacement wasn’t my original color - gold, was offered silver - but on the grand scheme of everything who cares. The order was placed about 10PM on a Tuesday and I had my phone by Thursday afternoon! Super fast turnaround for which I am grateful for. Calling Asurion to activate took about 10 minutes and since it was an iPhone I had already started the restoration process. Super friendly, efficient customer service! Very pleased! My experience couldn’t have been better. My phone was in my jeans pocket when I accidentally fell into the lake while trying to tie off a boat to the dock. I took it in for repair but after a valiant attempt the shop told me it it was dead. I took it to my carrier and was informed it was insured and they helped me file a claim. My replacement phone arrived at my home the next day. Great service!

It was super easy to fill out the claim form, and I had a new phone delivered in less than 24 hours. I'm pretty sure I had the iPhone 6 before, and it was replaced with a 6s. Couldn't pick the color but that's a very minor thing to me. No hassle insurance with a minor deductible - couldn't be more satisfied.

I purchased an Asurion cell phone through Sprint in April of 2017. At that time I was told that the deductible was prorated based on the age of the policy and covered device. In really, the cost of the deductible doesn't decline overtime and is unaffected by the value of the device being replaced. I believe that their deductible structure is set up in such a way that the longer you pay for the policy, the more unusable it becomes due to the declining value of the covered device. After paying $15 per month for this policy for nearly 30 months, I discovered that the deductible I'd be charged for replacing my damaged phone would be $275 and I would be receiving a refurbished phone that is was released 3 years ago. This is the maximum deductible in their schedule and is the same as one would pay for a $1600 phone that was just released.
They justify their deductible by saying it is a fraction of the price you would pay to replace it on your own but this isn't true. I could purchase the identical refurbished phone for nearly the same price without having paid $450 in premiums over the past 2+ years. Furthermore, a deductible is supposed to be a portion of the claim amount but in this case Asurion is likely making a profit off of the deductible which I find to be dishonest and unfair. Thanks for taking the time to read this review. I think it's important to warn other potential customers about this scenario so that they can avoid falling into it themselves.

We were at my mother-in-law's house and my wife left her phone on top of the car unbeknownst us and we drove off and the phone was lost although we didn't go a mile from the house. We went back and read walk the whole Mile and never found the phone. Then we file my report with Asurion and within 24 hours they had our refurbished phone here at our house. The phone works great. The wife is happy. Happy wife happy life or maybe not so much.

I like the in-store online replacement application. My replacement phone was delivered the next day (California to SC) by 1:30. Impressive. I did not expect the high deductible, well over $200. I have First Net and this seemed to be an issue with the operators as they attempted to verify my account before activating the replacement phone. It took almost 30 minutes for the verification process to occur - once it did, the remaining process was very fast. The operators were very professional and courteous. It seemed to be a process error involving ATT and FIRST NET.
I would have given 5 stars but for the high deductible. Like many customers, I don't read the volumes of information contained in the agreement. I'm sure what I paid was detailed in that agreement somewhere and I fully admit the responsibility of not knowing this information as I often can't press ACCEPT fast enough. With that, the deductible is too high. Thank you for the fast, friendly and professional service. I will continue to be a customer.

I was a complete skeptic - thinking there was no way the return process would work so fast and flawlessly. Was I shocked. My daughter had dropped a barbell on her phone. Absolutely satisfied. Daughter's phone suffered irreparable water damage. I submitted a claim through the local ATT store; as I had other business to conduct there. The next day we received the new upgraded phone. A phone call later the phone was active and my daughter was again absent from life focused only on the tiny screen. Box came with labels and even tape to secure the box. All things considered, I can't imagine an easier process.

Long wait times on phone calls, no store for service, had to set an appointment at home for service. My screen replacement was a disaster and made the phone almost impossible to use due to screen not functioning correctly. Random outbound calls, random letters when typing. Phone would sometimes go unresponsive. Told I was shipped a replacement. It took 3 days to get it. I had to suffer trying to conduct business on a terribly defective device. I will use AppleCare from now on. Terribly inferior level of service when compared to AppleCare. Not worth the minimal cost savings.

I had insurance on my new Samsung S10 for approx 3 months before I broke the screen. When the screen broke I took out the sim card and put it in an old phone so I could continue to use a phone. I submitted the claim with all the required information. The first time they denied it because they said the documents weren't legible. Simply not true. I inspected them again and all were easily legible. I resubmitted the documentation. Then they denied it because I wasn't currently using the phone. I called my provider, they called Asurion, spoke to a supervisor there and then told me to put the sim card back in the phone. Use the phone for a few days and then resubmit the claim. I did so and again the claim was denied.
I was given the reason that it was because I wasn't using the phone. I explained that wasn't true as the phone was on my desk at the time and I had just received a call on it. Still denied. Called the provider again and they again called Asurion and then assured me it was fixed and I could proceed with the claim. As soon as my provider was off the line they again started with the not using the phone excuse. I asked about the deductible as was given $299. Samsung would replace the screen for me for $379 without any insurance. Given the 3 hours I have spent on the phone and submitting paper work I feel Samsung is a much better option. Asurion is a waste of money. Just have your phone fixed yourself and save yourself some grief.

My phone broke and I put a request through. It came in the mail quick and was easy to transfer everything over. The prepackaged made it easy to mail back and since it’s an iPhone I like the multiple communication about turning my find location off. I am very happy with my experience.

Perfectly perfect when I spoke to a representative! When I first tried to navigate website, I entered the phone number for cell instead of Apple Watch and it didn’t work. I spoke to a representative and received the replacement watch within 24 hours.

The experience was efficient and the outcome was great. I appreciate the service. It is worth having the insurance on a new phone for one year. If more than a year, and you keep your phone original phone, the money you spend in the insurance can be redundant.

Very quick and prompt service on a Sunday! The web instructions were easy to follow as well as the customer support staff over the the phone. The only challenge was not being able to disconnect the phone because it was badly damaged.

This was an easy, seamless, very quick exchange! If you have an expensive smart phone you don’t want to go without this insurance because my experience is that something usually happens before my contract is up. They make this a worthwhile few dollars a month.

You all made it very easy from beginning to end. Along w/ AT&T setup pro’s. Only problem I had was w/ FedEx they misplaced the packages and then lied to me about where they had delivered them to. They were not helpful at all in trying to resolve my problem. And they never did. I personally had to investigate where they were and was successful in retrieving them. My only discontent was to why the AT&T phone customer service agent did not immediately told me to contact Asurion right away. Instead he instructed me to walk into a local AT&T retail store to submit a claim. When I walked in, the in store rep assisted me in calling you guys. I am very happy with the rate of receiving my phone.

It’s did take a little time and when I called they said they had computer problems. That wasn’t really y’all fault but no one contacted me to let me know what was going on with the claim. Finally after waiting and then calling a number of times because I have AT&T and was calling Verizon I guess and phone system not letting me get a operator. I got someone to help and then got drilled with questions. But finally got replacement a few day after because it was on backorder so grateful it all worked out.

Nephew lost his phone and we got a replacement the next day. What more could you ask for? Well, the only hiccup was FedEx not bothering to check and see if we were home so I had to run to the distribution center before they closed.

This was handled very quickly. Great work. I lost my phone at Kohl's but went right back to store and it was gone. I then called AT&T and was told I had to call Asurion which I did. I was amazed to see how quickly everything was handled, Asurion knows what a panic you are when you lose your phone. I am now telling everyone get Asurion for phone insurance.

What they tell is going to happen, DOES NOT!!! 3 days is just TOO long for someone to go with a phone that you cannot hear out of! If you are computer challenged... you can't get ANYTHING done, I'm not even sure WHY you gave us a phone number to call from the AT&T store. When I called I was told my phone would be here in 1-2 days, ONLY to happen upon an email with more requirements, none of which were told to me over the phone. Aren't you a PHONE company, should I not be able to take care of what I need COMPLETELY OVER THE PHONE!!

This is by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The first day they said there was a "technical difficulty on their end" and couldn't have an "Asurion expert" deliver the phone. On the second attempt they sent it to the WRONG ADDRESS TEN STATES AWAY. Said they couldn't redeliver until the phone was delivered to the wrong address--humorous to say the least. How do you get a completely wrong address/state? THE CALL WAS RECORDED. So, it is now day three and still no phone. I work in media and this has greatly affected my ability to work. Horrible customer service, completely incompetent people. BUYER BEWARE.

Fast and easy. The only thing I would change is the requirement of having to print the claim form to complete it and sign. Electronic signature would be so much more convenient. Filed a claim on Friday afternoon and couldn’t believe the new one was delivered on Sunday!!!

Tech showed up at my home to replace a cracked screen.. The new part didn’t work. Tech called Asurion tech line and confirmed bad part. Asurion overnighted me a new (refurb) phone for delivery on Saturday. I was happy with that resolution.

First repair was a screen repair which was a disaster. It screwed up functioning of phone. Replacement worked out fine. This was done quickly and at no additional cost to me. The screen replacement looked good but then the phone did crazy stuff.

It was easy to start and complete this warranty claim. I had my new device the next day. The only thing I did not like is that the original iPad that I purchased was black and the replacement was a white and gold. This was the only color that you had in stock. I believe that you should get the same color that you originally purchased. Thank you for your help!

Overall this was a speedy and smooth claim settlement. I set up my claim one day and my replacement phone arrived the next afternoon. I choose to activate the new phone myself which went smoothly with the exception of my contacts. For whatever reason they did not copy over. I called Pro Tech and the technician tried everything to get the contacts to load up on the new phone. Unfortunately it wouldn’t work. I had two options. I could reset the new phone back to original and try again or enter my 100+ contacts manually. I chose to enter them manually. My new phone is all set up and working perfectly. Thank you Asurion.
