Very easy to file a claim and the replacement device came very fast. They stayed in contact via email to make sure it arrived and that it worked. It came with a prepaid envelope to send the broken device back. The insurance is well worth it.

My iPad was stolen and I called in to get a replacement. Ended up having to speak with a supervisor due to the initial rep telling me I would have to wait a week! Supervisor got on the call and knocked it out of the park! Very impressed with the service and experience.

This was an easy process. Other than being charged for a malfunction in the phone due to the manufacturer it was easy to follow directions. The phone was sent on time to my house and the customer service I received was good.

I would have given 5 stars, but the first replacement phone that was sent to me ended up being in worse shape than the phone being replaced and this happened at a very bad time. However you guys redeemed yourselves and sent me a phone that seems to be much better! Thank you.

I recently tripped and dropped my iPhone and broke the screen. I made a claim online and received my new device very quickly afterwards. The support to set up my new device was excellent and now my phone looks and works great again!

My son accidentally dropped his phone and it wouldn’t work correctly. I was worried of the expense to fix or replace it. The Verizon store we work with said to contact you... and they were right. You took care of us! And your didn’t break the bank! My sons replacement phone was here very fast and he was very appreciative! Thank you!

Received replaced Mobile Phone very quickly. The New phone was easy to install. It was easy to mail the replaced mobile phone. The information for setup was very available. I was able to track the conditions of the UPS sending information for my new replacement phone. It was also easy to make sure the old mobile phone was received.

I had to repeat myself several times and go over the address about 10 times. It's like the gal was asleep! Then after giving her all my credit card information to get the phone replacement she never put in the order!!! I called the 4th day because it didn't arrive and the new person said payment was not taken so I had to do it all over again. I also told her to put my sons name and address on it for delivery because it was his lost phone but she STILL put MY name on it to his address. The entire ordering became very frustrating!!!

I don't have a clue who Asurion is or why in my case Verizon has contracted with them, I have a Samsung Galaxy s9, it's less than 6 months old and I have Verizon cracked screen repair plan that claims unlimited cracked screen repairs for $29, it seemed like a great deal and until a week ago I never needed it, I dropped my phone and cracked the front glass, that's all, everything works like brand new except the screen is cracked. Not even the LED. Just the glass. Anyway I went online and filed a claim. That part actually worked well, except when I filed for cracked glass the response came back that I'd have to pay $149 for a replacement phone, I don't need a replacement phone, I need my screen fixed, when I complained the person (computer) said they could cancel my claim and just start another one. I said ok and started a new claim, when I got my response for the second claim it was so ridiculous I almost can't believe it.
I was told they can't honor my claim because their records show that I didn't have this phone when the screen cracked, it's the only phone I have, it's 6 months old and the accident happened a week ago, funny I must have had it to be offered a $149 replacement but not a $29 screen repair? I've had a dozen Asurion robots send me the same response most of you get when you complain, "oh Richard we're so sorry. We understand * blah blah blah" all I want is a simple screen repair, nothing amazing, why can't they just be honest? Can they do it or not? If not I'll cancel my insurance and live with it as I file as many complaints as I can with FTC, BBB, Verizon etc. It's been a week and I'm no closer to resolve today than I was a week ago. Fix my screen or replace my phone for $29, not $149. Then I'll be happy.

Asurion does offer screen repairs for certain devices as long as there is no physical or liquid damage on the device outside of the cracked screen and all parts, technicians and time slots are available. We strive to repair to the root of the issue so your device can be like new. However, if we are unable to repair the device we are able to offer your primary insurance protection which replaces the device for the amount of your deductible. My son lost his phone but we have paid 275 dollars so he was under warranty. After a trip to the store, they sent us home but gave us a number. After an hour of waiting we spoke to someone who told us to call Asurion. They asked me for scanned photo IDS (Privacy trap) and an affidavit. I have 5 phones and they put me through so much trauma. With kids, homework, a full time job, it was awful to be put through this. The woman then said I can fax it. Fax my ID to a number. She wasn't helpful and polite and I told her I had spent 3 hours running around with 3 kids, trying to get a phone I had insured, fixed. I don't have a phone and I think Asurion is a monopoly. They will take your money and even with all of the right ID, pins paperwork billing address and other things, they want you to scan your personal data when I don't even have a scanner at home. Awful company and I don't have a phone now.

Please think twice before using Asurion. I have paid 19 a month for well over a year on my iPhone X 256 GB through Sprint. I was getting an iPhone 11 Pro Max and around 9/20 or 9/21/19 my screen got a crack on it. I went in 9/21 and Sprint said they would replace it for 29. An hour later as I was IOS 13 their equipment did not support that so come back 48 hours later. I waited about a week. They take my phone and suggest I go do something for an hour. I come back after a little over an hour and am told they couldn't get an authorization they needed. At this point I am giving up, but go to another Sprint corporate store.
I am told it is through Asurion which I did not know. They tell me my phone has like a hairline crack on the back I never noticed so I may need a whole new phone through insurance and it may be 270. I call Asurion and the rep either hangs up or the call drops. So I go to look online and I can submit a claim there. I fill out all my information and submit it. I hear nothing so I call to check with this insurance company. They tell me my claim was denied and Sprint needs to prove I was using the phone on 9/21/19. Around 5 pm that day the number was moved to an iPhone 11 Pro Max but insurance was kept in place on both. It was used all day.
This should be no issue. This company has collected at least 18 months or 19 dollars from me and then denied my legitimate claim. I am reporting you to the BBB and AG as well as insurance board. Since your insurance is just a sham in my eyes I want my premiums back or a check issued for the value of my phone less your high deductible. Avoid at all costs! Use Apple Care or get SquareTrade or anyone else. The final straw was a rep with this company just transferring me back to Sprint and refusing to help.

We are similar to other types of insurance as there is a deductible in addition to monthly premiums. If your device only has a cracked screen, it is possible a repair option may be available. This was a replacement iPad. There were several issues: 1. The iPad model was not able to be replaced. It was 1.5 years old to me. 2. The selected "upgrade" was not immediately available. Asurion did a good job of notifying me that the iPad was not in stock and communicated with me each step of the way. For us this was not a speedy experience, although satisfactory. There are some things that we don't have control over.

Very fast and helpful. My device did NOT arrive Saturday when it should have but that was the fault of United Parcel Services, who chose to keep it on the truck all day and then not delivery it because it was raining.

Asurion replaced my damaged phone without batting an eyelash. The process was terribly easy & the new device arrived so quickly (a day after the tracking info promised, but nonetheless it was quick). We were so grateful. This was our 2nd claim with Asurion & this experience turned out just as the first.

Broke my iPad Pro 12.9 screen on my Gen2. 512GB. They didn’t have a comparable model to send me to replace the 2017 model. I am extremely pleased they replaced it with a Gen3 and sent it overnight. It was brand new, unwrapped the plastic from the box. Also, it came with 1 year of Apple Care warranty. I couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Replacement fairly straightforward, given that I’d paid for and carried the insurance. Received the new phone immediately in excellent condition. ATT guy “Joe” (On his name tag) was unfriendly, however did provide the website address to file my claim. Other than the ATT part, the overall experience was good and provided value for price paid for insurance coverage.

I was well pleased with the insurance service for the iPhone that was damaged. The overall process was good once I found the correct group to call. I am well pleased with the service. I would recommend that there would be a draft or web page to instruct owners if you have iPhone service insurance or regular phone insurance and the process you need to go through.

My iPhone was not there when I needed it most, out of town depending on Uber. The battery would go from 100% to 11% with no use, at least not by me. When I returned home, I went to the AT&T store and was put in touch with Asurion, the ins co., who insured my iPhone. With my deduction being far less than a new phone, this was the option for me. My new upgraded replacement phone was delivered in two days with all the assistance to get it working. Thank you AT&T and most of all thank you Asurion.

I was very very upset with being on hold for 2 hours!! And I had to ask for the manager which did help! Personally I think you need to educate your employes a little better. I was ask to call back next day after being on hold for 2 hrs, thank his the manager knew what she was doing.

Everything went as planned. Documentation and communication were both accurate and timely. Return handling and instructions were simple. Everything I needed was in the box. Transferring the new phone was so easy that I cancelled my tech support appointment. Using Samsung Smart Switch it was a piece of cake.

Only issue I had was the e-mail I was told to expect never was sent. I had to go back into the system to continue the claim. It worked out and the claim was processed without issue. The tech service was good and the tech was knowledgeable and patient.

Everything ultimately was exchanged/replaced. However, there were a few glitches because they did not have the exact same item to replace I kept having to call customer service and verify the replacement on more than one step in the process instead of just submit online.

When I was submitting claim, I had too many issues with their system not responding properly on my claim. They tried to resolve issue and asked me to submit my government identification along with affidavit. So that’s what I did and they said they won’t accept my military id even though it is valid with picture and all needed info. So I called customer service and they were so rude and keep saying my identification is invalid. Federal government issued identification they are rejecting without any reason. And I'm still trying to get claim to be complete but no sign of relief. Worst company to deal with.

Awesome service. It took only 1 day for the phone to arrive all the way to Hawaii. Downtime was very minimal. Very helpful staff at AT&T to get my new phone up and running and deleting the information on the old phone to send back. I was unsure what needed to be done and staff was very helpful especially Brittany.

So I cracked my iPhone XR screen on Friday, and so I talked to my Verizon rep and they told me to go through this site so I did and I followed all the steps, paid the deductible and submitted my claim. I received an email confirming an appointment for Monday and thought that was it but when I went into check on the status of my claim just to make sure everything was still OK, it told me I had to choose a new date and then the day that I wanted (and ALREADY scheduled) wasn't available, so decided to choose the new date and when I clicked on submit a message appeared saying "sorry an error has occurred..." so I decided to call them to see what was happening.
Someone answered and I told them about the problem then they put me on hold for like 10 min, then for some reason a different person picked up the phone and started asking the same questions as the other person did when I first called, then they said that they couldn't talk to me because according to them I wasn't the authorized user for this account even though I'm clearly the person then the line went blank, and I had to call back. Once again I went through the same process but this time the person on the other line was able to complete my claim and now it's scheduled for Thursday. So instead of getting my phone fixed on the day I scheduled I have to wait 4 more days. I would not recommend this company. The whole process was terrible. The customer service was awful.

Dropped device; screen was cracked badly and device would not turn on. We received replacement device in 2 days and returned the old device promptly. We were unable to delete all the information from the device as well as unable to turn off Find My iPhone.

Received my replacement phone, and it was broken as well. Working on the next replacement. Very dissatisfied with the service since it was unable to provide me a product that worked. The replacement process is not quick, with having to update, reset, update the new phone, then restore the new phone, this is a couple hour process that we get to do again.

Asurion is very helpful in getting me a replacement on whether it is a cell phone or a tablet. I have had to have replacements done in the past and the process went very well. I was very pleased with the quick response from Asurion. They had me another phone up and running by the end of the day. Thank you for understanding how dependent we have become on our smartphones. I did have problems with the replacement phone several times that first week. When I called back they were very understanding and helped me resolve the issues I had. The claim process was quick and easy. Had my replacement in less than 48 hrs. Only thing that could have been improved was that the tracking did not update where my package was until after it was delivered. That is more on the carrier. Happy overall.

It is stressful to be without a phone and worry about the loss of data and replacement cost. I am very glad I decided to insure the phone with Asurion. The initial call to report that my At&t phone was damage went well. The phone arrived the next day AWESOME. I did not call your office to activate the phone because I could not transfer old data to new phone. I had to go to att several times.

I received my phone and it worked fine for a minute. Then my volume didn't work. I would have to turn the phone off and then back on again to have my sound for text messages and ringing to work for me to hear it. Not really happy with this replacement as I pay an amount monthly for insurance and then I had to pay a $112 deductible for this. I know it's not a new phone but I would expect it to work better than this.

Very dissatisfied with the experience, very dissatisfied with the treatment from Asurion's customer service representatives. I've been paying for phone insurance coverage for years now! When submitting a claim, the system kept sending my case to review, multiple times throughout the process. Reaching out to customer service thru all methods available, and no one could tell me why my claim was being held up, just that I had to wait and they were far from nice and friendly. I spent approximately 2+ hours, trying to find a solution, which went on for about a week! Finally after a week's time I found one person who took the time to look into a problem, and it ended up being that Asurion's database sometimes has to be refreshed with Verizon data. Terrible, frustrating experience, I wish there were better insurance companies available. I intend to make the suggestions to my phone carrier.

After an unneeded trip to the Apple Store in Charlotte, as directed by someone in the Rock Hill AT&T store, I was told my warranty had expired 23 days prior to my visit. They offered me a replace my iPhone 8plus for $399. I returned to the AT&T store the next day and was directed to contact Asurion. Within 2 days I had my new iPhone and it is working fine, and I was told it would be much less money.

The process of filing the claim was very simple and quick. From the time the claim was filed to the time I received my new device I was kept informed via email of what was going on. The activation of the new device was easy and the pro tech was patient throughout the whole thing.

It was a horrible experience losing my phone for the first time. In addition, it was unclear if it was lost or stolen. Having a replacement sent to me within two days of filing my claim was such a relief because we don't have a landline at our home any more so I was totally disconnected. Overall pleased with the service; however, I personally believe your stores should NOT carry protective phone cases that DO NOT protect the phone. My phone was totaled from a less than 2ft drop in a case that a advertises protection from 8ft. The ** thing is the case was NOT damaged BUT my phone was. How is this AT&T’s problem? Well your store manager picked it out for me during his upsell. My phone cost me over $1,100 and 5 wks later voila I used my insurance for the first time. Take the products OUT of your store.

Replacement phone arrived as requested. The only improvement that I can suggest is make the transferring of data to new devise and cleaning data off old phone more “senior Friendly”. Also, ProTech from AT&T was scheduled to call Brenda on Tuesday and did not call until Thursday at which time we had already figured out the transfer and shipped the damaged phone back.

I have an iPhone 6S on which I've been paying insurance on for over 3 years, meaning Asurion has collected over $360 from me on this product. I finally had cause to file a claim today as my iPhone charging plug input became loose. I was told that I would need to pay a $112.50 deductible to have the phone fixed. If you look online, you can pay nearly this same amount for a BRAND NEW iPhone 6S at Walmart. And this is after the AT&T store told me my phone was worth $50. Utterly ridiculous that Asurion is mandating I pay a deductible that is more than my phone is worth. Buyer beware, Asurion offers zero added value and a terrible consumer experience.

I made an insurance claim and the next day received my 1st replacement, took forever to setup the phone & then once I got it all setup went to take some picture & the camera took blurry photos. Called Asurion. They apologized & sent me the 2nd phone. This one didn't take so long to setup but about 1hr later it started having an error message saying "no SIM card installed". Went to my provider. They replaced the SIM but the problem persisted. Called Asurion again which they apologized (which seems to be the only thing they can do), said they will have to send me a 3rd phone but this time they will send me a new one (we will see). But because today is Friday I wont get my replacement until Monday! I live in a rural area so I understood that but then I gave them another address in a well populated city & they told me the same thing.
So to say I am unsatisfied with Asurion is an understatement. If I could give them a negative number it would be -1543843 & out of all the representatives I spoke to only one was helpful & I actually believed her apology. Now going on 2 weeks after my 1st claim & $150 taken out of my account & currently waiting on phone #3. They didnt even try to offer any type of help to me at all other than sending me phones that don't work.

I usually get this extended warranty for most of the products I buy because I have used this company before and I always had a positive experience, but not this last time. I sent in my Gucci watch to get it fixed or get a reimbursement (not that I have never sent back any product as expensive as this) and the first thing I am expecting is either a text or email from them saying that they have received my product just like they did in my previous claims. I never received any notification from them. I call them 2 weeks after because I wanted to know the status and there was no information online. The representative was not able to give me much information as the watch was in the repair center. He sent them an email to have them contact me in 2 business days, and well that never happens. I called them back the following week and the exact same thing happens. This time they tell me it can take up to 6 WEEKS to get my product back.
Well it has been since August 10th when I sent it in this watch and is now the end of October and I have not received my product back and or any of the calls I am suppose to get back from the supervisors I spoke with. The first representative we talked with was very rude and did not seek to help us in our situation. She refused to let us talk with a supervisor to explain our need. After attempts of insisting to speak to a supervisor, she finally connected us to someone else. The representative we spoke with next and the one we spoke with on a needed call back were fantastic. They were very professional, kind and understanding. These two assisted us and the claim was carried out. If it had not been for the first rep, we would definitely rate a five star.

Had to file claim 3 times. Phone was never shut off (blacklisted) properly so the person who stole kept texting back that they were NOT trying to file a claim. I never received any correspondence by email OR home phone telling me they needed additional info from me. I had to reach out to them, repeatedly. Every time I DID speak to someone, it was the typical "Just wait 24 hrs, sir"... 12 days later and multiple calls (all ME calling THEM!) I finally had my phone. I will be finding another insurer for any future coverage. Rather not deal with these incompetents ever again. There were 1 or 2 pleasant service reps that I spoke to, but unfortunately they weren't enough to make the entire experience positive.

Your company offers great coverage on phones. I appreciate the help I received last week but I need to buy another policy on the replacement phone I received last Monday. This place is a joke! No next day to receive my replacement phone and Verizon sucks for using these idiots! You’d think Verizon would give good service but that’s definitely not the case! You be better off if you break or lose your phone go with a different provider to get a new phone. It’s so much easier and less costly considering I pay monthly $45 and got hit with $250 deductible? WTH?!? And had to wait a few days to even receive it!?!? Like I said don’t waste your money with these jokers! Just go to a different provider...

I had damage to my cell phone and had to exchange it for a refurbished one. The experience was uneventful and a good one. It took two times but we got it after the second try. First replacement phone had the same issues as the one I was getting replaced. But after the second phone it all worked out. First customer service rep. I could not understand due to thick accent. But the second the rep. was awesome.

Long process. Gave a faulty cell phone. Had to go thru more hoops to get another phone. Had to find fax machine. Had to photograph documents. Had dropped calls. Texting was long and tedious when phone they sent wouldn’t work. It really was awful and time consuming.

My only wish was that my 3 phones share an Apple account so when we get a new phone we all get each other's texts and contacts and pics. I wish there was someway to stop that.

Service was ok. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the replacement tablet. It's very slow. Constantly keeps shutting down and it's not very good. I've already had to reboot it twice. Very very frustrating. I wish it was an equal replacement.

AT&T. Only thing I could not complete is the deleting of old files. My iPhone XMax screen was damage from water and I could not see display. Other that, process was easy to understand and I use my phone for work so the two day delivery was unanticipated and really was glad for that! Updated on 10/24/2019: I am interested to hear if anybody has had success with the "we will correspond with you privately" process. It appeared that I was getting somewhere, until I was asked to submit another affidavit (the fifth one), but this requested to change the date of occurrence. What happened to the "insurance fraud" threat? I really don't see why the date of the occurrence of the theft should be changed to a date other than the date of occurrence. Where is the watchdog for these requests from the insurance company?
Original Review: I recently had a cellphone stolen, and have submitted three affidavits, due to various excuses being provided by Asurion as to why the claim has been denied. One of the Asurion operators even asked me to change the date of the loss on the Affidavit, which I refused to do, as it would be a false declaration. I now need to submit a fourth affidavit for exactly the same claim. Each operator says "I understand your frustration", which they obviously don't, as it is like talking to a brick wall trying to sort this issue out. I have no idea why Bell uses them as an insurance company.

I had a terrible experience. I had to visit the local att store in the middle of trying to make this claim bc my first one was denied, because I had the date wrong by 2 days of the last used day. It took over a week just to get my claim processed, and after it was processed I was told they couldn’t deliver my device to my address! I had other device from there delivered at previous times. I had to wait forever while they overrode the problem. I finally have received my phone but seriously!!!

I got immediate service and a replacement phone within 48 hours. However, now 2 months later, my replacement phone which was a refurbished phone that was suppose to be the same as my previous phone (that had suddenly died with a catastrophic error) seems to be having many of the same problems that my first phone exhibited prior to its failure.
I called Asurion to discuss my concerns for another solutions. They said they were sorry but there were no more phones available in my model but only a Motorola model. My first phone was a Motorola about 8 years ago and I was not happy at all with that phone. I asked if I could have a payment out or credit with Verizon to get an upgraded new phone, which I was entitled to last July when my phone had failed... but they said "NO!" they did not do that. I am disappointed with the response and finality of the response. At $10/month for the insurance that I have paid since I have had cellphones with Verizon (ABOUT 10 YEARS) and I think it is probably NOT A GOOD DEAL ANYMORE!

I lost my phone and it was replaced. Thank god for insurance. I’m starting to think that it was stolen from me. Tried tracking it with my sisters but it did not find the address. I think it was stolen by Charles ** a man from Vacaville Ca. Having problems with it now. It takes long when surfing the internet but I have reported to Suisun and Fairfield police dept. even when I had Metro. This guy hacks my email and phone calls, Facebook and everything. Looking forward for the iPhone 11 also I purchased the tablet and the same problems. Someone is hacking.
