The service was great! The new cellphone arrived earlier than I had expected. My Samsung 7 was replaced with a new Samsung 9. It was easy to pack up my unusable cell phone and return it. Just put it into box and put mailing label on then drop it into a mail box.

My replacement and restoration of all files was quickly addressed by A T & T personnel. Maybe, a total of 25 minutes to bring my new phone up to date. During evaluation of my damaged cell phone and the placing of the order For a new phone, the different people came to help complete all details. Each person had a positive attitude about helping me.

I purchased an Asurion warranty at the same time I purchased the item on Amazon who is clearly complicit with the Asurion. Asurion provides an email which clearly indicates that coverage begins on the day of purchase and extends for 48 months. When I tried to submit a claim nine months later I was told to call the manufacturer. They wanted an amount equal to one-third the cost of the purchase price to make a warranty repair.

The representative was very helpful and knowledgeable! He was very patient as we were very stressed. He walked us through setting up our replacement phone step by step and answered all our questions. I highly recommend Asurion. Sending our damaged phone back was also a good experience. Very easy to do with label and tape!!! Loved the tape! Nice touch.

Everything was so easy! I submitted my claim at 6 pm Friday and received the new one literally 10 hours later!! The instructions were clear and concise and it was so convenient having the return slip, biz, and even tape to send the package back.

My phone messed up and I had to turn it in on insurance. I opted to have it mailed to me, but apparently you can have someone bring you one immediately. They were fast and I had a phone again in no time.

The replacement phone came the next as promised. On another occasion I had a cracked screen and the cost was cheap and fair!!! The agent that helped me was very knowledgeable about what I needed and got me the help I needed.

Filing the claim was relatively easy on-line. The replacement phone arrived only 2 days later. It took a while to load the 13.3 software-but the assistance over the phone was excellent. The package allowed for the damaged phone to be boxed and mailed in in very short order.

Updated on 01/16/2020: Went to the Verizon store with a cracked screen and was told no problem. Just go online and fill out the information to get screen replacement for $29. Filled out all the information and was told my only option was to have the phone replaced for $199. I wrote a review over a month ago sharing my experience. A Asurion representative said he'd be glad to look into it so I gave him the information he requested. Haven't heard back and it's been over two weeks. Guessing he was fired or quit. The short of it is don't waste your money on the phone insurance. If you do the math it's so not worth it especially if company handling the insurance just takes your money and doesn't fix your phone. Ham and egg company.
Updated on 12/26/2019: I had a terrible experience with Asurion about fixing a cracked screen my phone. Don't anticipate them fixing your cracked screen for $29. My only option was a replacement phone for $199 even though I only had a cracked screen. A representative from the company responded that they would look into it. My response was please do and I've heard nothing. Better off skipping the insurance. You're going to have to pay for the screen replacement out of pocket anyway.
Original Review: I went to the Verizon store because had dropped my phone and the screen had cracked. The customer service representative handed me the pamphlet for phone repair and said to call the number to make an appointment for a tech to repair the screen. The cost would be $29 because I have the insurance. I filled out the claim form online as I was instructed stating that the only damage to the phone was a cracked screen and It appeared that they were going to send me a new phone. I called to straighten this out and was told the only option I had was to replace my phone for $199. The option to replace the screen was not offered. I then called Verizon to cancel the bogus insurance on all six phones. A person would have to be an idiot to purchase insurance on their phone using these scammers. I'm guessing the positive reviews are made up. Just hoping I can save other people from wasting their money.

The repair option is offered if there is the only damage to the LCD screen, and your area has availability. We strive to repair to the root of the issue. However, your primary insurance is to replace the device at a fraction of the cost to buy the device outright. Which means you always are able to file a claim for a replacement. Had an appointment scheduled to get an iPhone 8+ screen replacement but had technician call me saying that he couldn't replace my screen due to him not having the parts. I then call Asurion and explained what happened and instead of getting my screen replaced, they sent me a new phone to replace my old one.

I was treated with dignity and respect by Yea who also made me feel welcomed and valued. I was warmly and richly treated from the very start of our interaction. Her instinct on what options to provide alongside her knowledge of my concerns was most efficacious. My replacement and my sincerest efficacious and indebtedness thanks are all to Yea (Please forgive if I've misspelled Yea's name). The one and only experience I've ever had was enough to convince me that I'd go to whichever location she is at, although that most likely won't be doable for me because they are going places!

When replacing my Galaxy S7, the customer service was excellent. It was in 2 stages. Both went well. The only items that did not transfer were the dates on my calendar. I'm going to have to put those in by hand.

I received my replacement phone the next day. I called in to setup and my Google backed up my phone within minutes. Although, my screensaver and ringtones did not save in the setting everything was back to normal quickly. Appreciate it.

It originally started with my iPhone XS max falling off the stairs and being damaged. I was still thankful that at least I had a protection plan. I filled the online forms correctly (I have screenshots) and after 5 days when the phone did come it was an iPhone xs. I called the customer service in regards to this and the agents there are themselves confused, first day I called the agent told me he'll issue a report and send in the correct phone and then I can send in both of these phones that I have. After waiting for 3 days I called back and then they told me I have to send the xs back first and then ask for a refund. After all that I have to apply again for a XS max. What should have been a 3 day thing had turned into almost a month of calling Asurion even though NONE OF THIS IS MY FAULT. The worst experience indeed.

Initially I wasn’t satisfied, because the first replacement phone wasn’t corrected to allow the AT&T representative to transfer my information/apps from my old phone to the replacement phone. I had to contact Asurion claims office again to request another phone, Also, I had to make another trip to the United States Postal Service twice to return the phones. My replacement phone is working great. But, I have to go to the Apple store, because the Find My app, which is used to locate my phone would not let me update the app. Also, the money I have to pay for the replacement phone is a lot, $112.00, which will be added to my next bill. I would like for the insurance carrier to make sure all replacement phones are corrected and ready to use prior to shipping to the consumer.

I filled out the claim in the morning and by the following afternoon the replacement was here. I was billed for the deductible which was only 100, a far cry from the 800 price tag for a new phone. Ten minutes on the phone with AT&T to get all my info back. Easiest process ever. It made having lost my phone not so bad. Thank you!

We were surprised at how easy it was to have our phone replaced. Expecting it to be rather difficult, we took two weeks checking everywhere we visited and tearing the house and cars apart, looking for it. We believe it may have fallen into the trash can, when we were painting our bathroom. We had placed it on the side of the wash basin, so it would be handy.

Everything worked exactly as described in the written information. The first phone was delivered to my office. However, it was misplaced by the security guard. The e-mail says it had been delivered. When I could not trace it; I called Asurion. Another phone was sent right away. I was extremely happy with the service.

I had been having problems with my iPhone for several months. No one was able to help me until one day recently I brought my phone in again to AT&T store and they realized I could put in an insurance claim. With their help I did and was able to receive a replacement iphone quickly. The only unfortunate thing about it was it was delivered as left on my porch between the doors and I didn’t know it was there. So I waited longer than was told it would be to get it. I happened to open the front door one day and there it was!! I was so happy.

You never plan on accidents to happen, but you can have a plan in case of an accident - Asurion is that plan. My phone broke and was almost inoperable. My job requires me to communicate with my supervisors and subordinates immediately so having a phone at 100% has become more of a need than a want for me. In 2017, We purchased from Home Depot a $1,400 Samsung washing machine with a five year Asurion service plan. Machine is less than 2 yrs old, broke on Dec 8, 2019: NO power so issue is with its electronics or fuse or etc. We called Asurion on Monday 9th. Were told we must WAIT IS THREE DAYS before we even hear from their local service provider Service Quick. On the 3rd day, an S.Q. middle man called to say service would be Dec 18th (10 day wait since it broke) but to wait for another call from S.Q. to confirm. That call came 6 hours later and reported that our earliest possible service date is Dec 27th (19 days without washing machine), with no explanation as to why the earlier call from S.Q. re Dec 18 was invalid. They also reported that S.Q. doesn't service 'our area' (major suburban area just north of NYC) except on M, W, F.
Here's the point: Asurion is not worth it. You will do better with a local service guy that you can find online yourself, and that guy will come much sooner, and you won't be dealing with 2 or 3 middlemen between Asurion and yourself. I'll post this review everywhere regarding Service Quick, Asurion, and Home Depot. Very very shoddy.

It requires a special loop on the watch. $200 upgrade. His new watch doesn't have that piece, so the band is now unusable. Pretty bummed about that as it was for business wear.

It’s been 2 weeks and I’m still fighting to get my claim approved. Been hung up with, been told multiple times they need to look into my account to verify my phone. I was with MTS which was bought out. Didn’t transfer my data. Call back to be told it was denied because I wasn’t using the phone. Well what I’m using it right now. Now they don’t have my phone so they're gonna send a newer one but less memory. So my phone contents won’t even fit on the one they're proposing. The amount keeps changing each time I speak to someone. Now I have to send in documentation. Now wait again, now they give me a generic response saying all these reasons my paperwork wasn’t accepted. Like are you kidding me. I am beyond frustrated with this ** company! Don’t bother telling me that’s for my protection keeping the rates low. I pay enough. I shouldn’t need this **, and yet I still need to pay a ded for a refurbished phone!

Terrible customer service and total incompetence. I talked to four different people and every single one of them told me something different. One said I needed a new phone, one said I just needed a new screen and a third said they it would be a new phone I needed. Couldn't tell me how to turn off Find my iPhone without being able to unlock my phone. Wasted hours of my day to get told that my new phone would be here on Saturday. After taking my $200 they informed me that my phone wouldn't be here until Monday. Not only did every person have different information but within one phone call with one person I was told two totally different things. Then they sent me an email with tracking information but the links didn't work. Total Garbage. Cancelling and getting Apple Care.

Finally broke my phone screen and when I sent it in rather than being 29$ fee for the repair they charged me a whole 100$ without proper reasoning. I hate Asurion almost as much as I hate Sprint. Too many hoops to jump through. I felt like I was dealing with a shady co who was going to deny my claim at every turn. However when it was all said and done on a Friday morning the new device was here early the next day. Wow!

Not sure why you have me at 2 claims within 6 months. One was NOT completed as the phone was located and a new phone was NEVER shipped or received. I do respect Asurion that being said, I believe the practice of removing the insurance from an account for 2 claims filed is a little much. I have been a valued customer for years with very limited claims. I guess I will have to use SquareTrade from now on.

The process is easy and efficient and I appreciate the small amount to pay for just cracked screen. The speed of how fast the phone arrives is awesome. Also the return process is easy and efficient makes it less stressful.

While the conclusion of my experience with Asurion turned out great, the beginning of my experience was less than great... i.e. I received an email saying the shipment of the replacement device would not be delivered for another 7 to 10 business days and that my patience was appreciated. I immediately responded and asked for an explanation, and within hours a replacement device was shipped.

Very happy with the customer service but a bit disappointed that there isnt a place near me to go to to fix my sons iPhone X screen. We had to go with more expensive option, thankfully my rep gave us a discount.

The process was very smooth getting a replacement phone for my son. Customer service was knowledgeable and helped to facilitate the exchange. Very satisfied. I hope that there are no more accidents where I have to use the service, but it is comforting to know that the insurance is there.

We were so pleased with the help we received at the Boulder AT&T office. They determined I needed a new cell phone. It arrived within 2 business days. We brought the new phone in to AT&T and Heather was amazingly helpful and patient. She helped me transfer all my data to my new phone and answered several other questions I had about my phone as well. She could not have been more efficient or more pleasant. An excellent experience!

Great and fast service as we called the 800 number the day after Thanksgiving as we traveled to Mammoth Lakes. My son accidentally dropped his phone in the rain while helping his grandparents into our home. Thanks again AT&T. We appreciate the outstanding service.

I thought everything about the process was really great. It took more than one call to complete the process but that was actually my fault, not yours. I spoke to 3 different support people when it came to dealing with setting up my replacement phone and each person was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Absolutely disgusted with the service. The gentleman who did my screen repair damage my phone and would no longer work. I was not able to get any of my information off of it and I was forced to send my phone out with all my personal information and photos. Highly do not recommend. I’m just waiting for all my info to be hacked thanks to Asurion.

It was a very quick process. My phone was stolen and I was about to activate my old phone when the customer service in store rep told me I had the insurance which I forgot. So I filled out the paperwork which was quick and my phone came the next day.

My phone was returned. After a tech session I fixed it. So I phoned to cancel the replacement phone same day. Since then received phone calls to return my device and then letter for 300 charge. Then then refused to send me a letter to confirm that they were charged me.

The phone replacement process was smooth and quick. The activation took a little work since I had to call Verizon. But other that the process was pretty simple. The other issue I had was that the previous issue never showed as closed.

Great customer service and super fast ship times. Asurion is always a great electronic insurance company to deal with. When my phone messed up, I just called them and they set me up with a upgraded model because the one I had wasn't being made anymore. Whole process was completed on two days flat!!
