However, I experienced some confusion when the online form rejected the request by stating it could not be processed because the replacement device was not available. Upon calling, they asked if we would accept a different color device. Had the reject reason stated the instructions on how to resolve the issue, it would have been less alarming.     I have had the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have had to schedule my appointments over and over and every time I call a representative they confirm it’s scheduled and then it gets canceled a couple days before. I came to find out it was bc my first appointment the tech marked it as complete even though he never even came in the house. But no one could do their job and fix that for several tries later. There is no management to do anything. The least you could do is offer something. And I was told I may get my deductible waived due to my trouble but they say I can’t bc they are out of a part. I scheduled it a week ahead so I can’t get it waived when that isn’t even my fault. It’s sad. I will be canceling as soon as my phone is fixed if ever.

    We received our home the next day, unfortunately there was a problem with the replacement phone and it needed to be replaced again; I was very disappointed that I purchased a glass protection. It was over $40 and I was told I needed to talk to Verizon or the protection company to replace the glass protection and Asurion was not responsible to replace this item. I have had the protection plan from Asurion for several years and with that said I feel you need to accommodate your customers instead of telling them that is not your issue. If I told my customers that I would not have any. As someone who owns their own business my time is valuable and it’s not right that I need to be responsible to get the glass protector replaced especially when I pay a monthly fee for protection and Asurion sent us a replacement phone with a defect. I am still upset about the glass protector.

    I bought an Asurion Protection Plan (extended warranty) for my OLED TV purchased from Walmart. I was assured that this warranty would cover image burn in, a common problem with OLED TV's. Well, I'm experiencing that very issue now with my OLED TV. Trying to file a claim with Asurion was arduous and frustrating. It took hours of phone calls and online forms before anyone would help me. Asurion sent a tech to look at my TV. The tech, 1 star on Yelp, didn't even examine my TV or run nay kind of diagnostics. He simply just took a photo of my screen. Shortly after Asurion denied my claim because they said my TV had image burn in. This is the exact issue I bought the warranty to cover. Asurion has basically told me tough luck...     Customer service is great...However, after placing my request for replacement of my damaged phone, the new one arrived and did not work at all. I even drove to a Verizon retailer and they said "send it back", so I did. Then waited for a 2nd replacement. Once it arrived, (no kidding) it took almost 3 hours with support services to get it operational. If I wouldn't have had a Samsung S8 that could "smart switch" I would have been sunk.     I have been dealing with Asurion for the last 2 weeks. When I first called to file a claim, it was for the battery on my phone. I was told it was covered and they would come out and replace the battery. So, week one, on the day they say they'll be out - No call and no tech. So, I call only to find out they cancelled the appointment without telling me. Because, they don't have a replacement SCREEN. I never asked for or have a broken screen! While on the phone I explain that I don't need a screen, I need a battery replacement.

    Forward to week 2 - The tech arrives at my house on time. He comes in a says he's here to replace my Screen (my head almost explodes). I now explain to him that I need a battery replaced not a screen. He checks his van, and of course, does not have a battery. He says I'll need to contact Asurion again. As I type this, I am currently on the phone with Asurion, and have been for 30 minutes, trying to reschedule ANOTHER time for a tech to come out and replace the battery. We are now set for next week (week 3). I will be writing another review to let you know how it goes.

    This is a service I pay for and is 100% not worth It. Unfortunately Asurion handles claims for all the major companies. I have paid for their service for as long as I remember and this is the first time I've ever had to use it. I know it may not be wise. But, I'm cancelling the protection on my devices, Until it is handled by a capable company. It would be easier to just replace my phone next time.

    Agents are hit & miss - some are fantastic, others need better training. Website is perhaps too simple... It doesn't advise of any options, just marches you through the claim with no options. I had to call customer service to get it straightened out, and they couldn't do anything for 2 days because I had filed the claim. It would have been much better to have a message saying to stop and call if anything wasn't what you want. That would have saved me almost 4 days total. In the end, everything was settled to my satisfaction. Asurion deserves credit for making sure to follow through to the end.

However, the Asurion typed in the incorrect mailing address and the phone was not delivered on Saturday. I caught the error by calling UPS and they said they could redeliver the phone same day but Asurion would not cooperate. Needed to mail out another phone. This one would not arrive until Monday.     Buyer beware! I was sold this insurance plan when I got my iPhone. Told it covers cracked screens, loss, theft, damage. $29 to repair a screen. After paying my monthly premium for over a year, I needed to get a screen repair. Told there were no techs in my area so they can't repair it, but if I want to pay the higher deductible of $112 to replace the whole device, I can. Seriously? Any good customer service rep would've apologized for not having techs in my area (which is a major city, so why no techs in the area?) and then offered to send a new device for the price of the cracked screen. Instead, I spent an hour working my way up the chain of command of people who only know the word "no."

    I have now written to the company's founder. Not holding my breath that I'll receive any resolution if the company's own customer service people are not given the authority to make good on promises to consumers. What a joke. Kevin Taweel - your company needs a much greater level of integrity. And Brinna, Brandon, and Myra (especially Myra) need to be sent to customer service training. What a joke. This is what's wrong with American business today. Totally lacking in integrity.

    Updated on 01/26/2020: Continuing from my past post - I have yet to hear from any representative from the company. I finally got the copy of my phone purchase and went to upload the documents only to have the claim link expire!! So now I am on the phone yet AGAIN 76 minutes so far - and apparently someone needs to enter a NEW claim since the past documents went through the system generated review and were rejected... and all this following up on why my check was not mailed out LAST September... They SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to do this to people!!!

    Original Review: My first phone malfunctioned - summer 2019. Folks were excellent and replaced it with a rebuilt one that had the same issues - tested by Asurion's tech dept so not a user issue. Told me to go and replace my phone (buy a new one what a check would be processed). Well that was LAST September -- several phone calls later I am STILL jumping through hoops to get my money - today I was told they would process a check with the deductible which I have ALREADY paid - this is the same claim!! That is not right so 30 minutes later I was told ok I can get the full amount. Now I need a photo id of the account holder and a signed affidavit (of course it is different from the one I processed previously). As long as you just need a replacement and realize it is a re-built one you are golden - try to get $$ from them and you are up the creek!! Wish this was a better experience - AT&T is going to hear about this!!

    Getting my phone replaced was super quick and easy. Took only a couple days because it was the weekend and they said my phone was out of stock. Super quick, easy, and efficient.     Brandon just got the new phone last Thursday which he needs for work. We got the screen protection but they had no more case for the back of the phone. He didn't have a chance to he has been working the phone got drop and back of the phone broke. Not happy because if the case was on we wouldn't have this problem. What do we do now needs this phone for work. He needs a new back cover.

    Phone was delivered next day. Instructions inside box with return label were easy to understand. There's nothing I can think of that could possibly make it any easier.     Scam...they won't help you. Been paying $40 a month since 2018 and can't get a replacement. I've been through HELL!! Asurion will never ever receive my business. I was instructed multiple times by different reps on how to process my claim, that's the real fraud!
