I am very pleased that a replacement phone was in my hands within 2 days of my initial contact with Asurion. I am not happy that I could not retrieve my information and stored data from the cloud format that AT&T set up on the phone I lost.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well things went in replacing my wife's cell phone. The lady on the phone was very thorough and efficient. Had my info plugged in and even got my phone sent out quickly as I was leaving town a few days later. It was an easy transfer. Thanks for making this replacement painless.

I was a skeptic at first, but we are very pleased. I got my replacement phone in 2 days! The application process was quick and easy to understand. We even got a discount because we hadn’t used the service before. I couldn’t believe how quickly my new phone arrived! Thank you Asurion. We hope to not have to use a service like this, but when you need to it is wonderful to have.

Excellent service. Friendly staff and received the new phone really fast. Instructions were included in the box and set up was super easy. The customer service representative did a great job explaining all of my options. She went through my options and offered to have a tech come set up the phone for us, discussed colors and accessories as well. Overall, great job!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This company is absolutely ridiculous! First, I scheduled my appointment well in advance and took the day off of work. I got a call within my time window that the guy was running late and he wouldn't be able to fit within the window. He never showed up! I waited all day and he never showed up.
The second time, the tech came to my work. It was a fast, easy process ... until two weeks later. Now my phone screen isn't working at all and I can't get a hold of them. My phone screen had a simple crack in it - it worked fine otherwise. I don't appreciate having to jump through hoops trying to get a hold of them after they screwed up twice. Trust me, you're better off paying the extra money to go through a legit place.

The Claim process is the worse ever. You went from everything online to must sign, fax, and mail. Who the hell conducts 1990s business like that. It's 2020, if anything, it should be an even easier process.

It was easy to report phone loss, and it was a short amount of time in which we received a replacement phone. I was pleasantly surprised how simple and hassle free the process was. This was my first experience, and I have shared with friends that I was impressed with the process.

Easy process with filing claim and receiving replacement phone. Efficient claim processing and product delivery. Clear instruction on returning damaged item and new item set up. Aside from the fact that the first phone I received was not the right one (it was an iPhone 6S Plus rather than the X), which prolonged the replacement, I was very happy with the experience. I was especially happy because I ultimately received a new X and not a refurbished phone. So thank you!

We took our Galaxy 6 to the AT&T earlier this week and the staff there said that my battery was bad. So they initiated a claim with your firm. We received the replacement really fast and the return instructions and materials were great. Thanks for all your help.

Claim was filed for replacement Iphone which was damaged. Received replacement phone two days later. Old Iphone was to be returned. Great grandson lives with me and got the phone and we couldn't find it. After continued search over several days, called Asurion, told them what happened and asked to have reason changed to lost. Asurion agreed and said there will be no charge, but if we do find it to return it. Agreed.

I found the whole process to be very user-friendly and efficient. Filed a claim on Sunday evening and had a new phone Tuesday morning. All correspondence via phone or chat was very helpful and pleasant. Phone had a totally smashed screen and was not usable, but was pleased to have a replacement so quickly.

Dropped my phone 4 inches onto a plastic cup holder in my truck and broke the screen on a Saturday. Went to AT&T and filed my claim and got my new phone on Tuesday. Very fast and did good at getting the insurance claim processed and the phone to me.

So I've had my phone (s10 plus) for less than a month. In that time I haven't dropped my phone. Today I put my phone in my pocket. When I pulled it out the back of the phone was cracked in the corner. Nothing hit my pocket. The only thing I kept in the pocket was the phone. I called and was told I'd have to pay 400 plus to repair it. Apparently it's not covered under warranty because it's physical damage. So you have a phone with a back that is prone to cracking and that part isn't covered. So to fix a phone I've had less than a month I have to pay 400 to fix it for damage that was caused by the fabric of my pants.

I appreciated the ease at which my request was accepted. Having a cell stolen out of my hands in Vietnam was frightening. (I do wish there was some way phone companies could inform their users of countries to be more aware in --because I did go in and explain I needed service in three countries.) I received my new replacement within 48 hours of filing my claim which was amazing. I greatly appreciated the $12 deductible given I'm only working 4 hours a week. Both AT&T techs, Toviana and Precious were receptive, pleasant, professional and very thorough in assisting me set up and start my new LG Prime replacement cellphone.

My old i5S phone just quit, wouldn’t charge or turn on. Called Asurion and a new phone was on the way. Couldn’t have been easier. The young man who took my information was excellent. Called Monday, July 22, 2019 and i7 phone arrived Tuesday, July 23.

Did a great job in sending my new phone and the paperwork was easy to fill out and receive my new phone. The only thing I also wanted was the earpiece that comes with my phone. If we paid the entire amount and we paid for the insurance, I believe we should receive the entire bundle, thank you.

Without the insurance, we would’ve paid for a brand new iPad! Instead, we got the current model (ours was a prev one) for $99. EXTREMELY worth the $12/month. Process was sooooo simple. They shipped us a new one immediately and we put the broken one in the mail using their postage-paid envelope.

When I tried to get a new device on the Verizon website, I was having trouble. They kept trying to exchange my tablet for a phone. When I actually called Verizon, I was able to get things straightened out. Asurion was fast at getting a replacement tablet out to me. I’m happy with my experience.

Easy claim submission process and I had my replacement phone in less than a week - no complaints! I wish that there was a way to track the IMEI (since my phone number is back with my phone) of the stolen one, so there was a chance of recovery but that's not Asurion's deal.

Spent 4 hours and several phone calls trying to get an email promised for the new affidavit that needs to be filled out in order to place a claim, I did not receive the emails, one of the gals said she sent it while I was on the phone, nothing... I was assured I would have the replacement phone the next business day. After waiting the required 3 hours to call back I was told that the review department was now closed and I would need to call the following day. When I called back this morning they said due to email issues the emails were in fact not sent. I would need to download the affidavit from the site then submit and and wait another 3 hrs, then call back? Then a fifth phone call this morning (after another required 3 hr wait) the gal became upset with me saying the emails were sent and I simply did not respond??
Now my phone is promised to be delivered on day 3. I'm over 24 hours into the claim process and the phone has still not been shipped. The last correspondence I had was 8 hours ago. I have been paying the policy for years and still had to pay $250 for a refurbished phone and the runaround. I could have purchased a new phone easily with the money I have spent. Huge hassle and dishonest customer service reps. Save your money...unless you can wait 3 days for a replacement and have the extra time to place 5 phone calls, 3 hours apart. It looks like only the 5 star ratings are posted here so likely wasting yet more of my time but at least I feel better!

We try to ask for information during this process that normally only the authorized account holder would know. My claim was completed quickly & efficiently over the phone after starting an online claim 3 months ago. I had paid $7-10 per month in insurance premiums for over 5 years and was still charged a $112 deductible. This seems to be unfair financially especially when I wasn’t able to take a cash out settlement nor able to switch from Android to iPhone for replacement. I will not be paying for insurance in the future due to these limitations.

I had a good experience with Asurion. They had my replacement phone to me in a speedy time frame. The phone looked brand new. I am appreciative to them and it was a lot less expensive to file the insurance claim rather than to purchase a new phone, but I still feel like the $199 deductible is expensive, especially considering that I pay an extra monthly fee to have the Asurion insurance on my phone already.

After having difficulty with the app and 4 phone attempts by phone I was able to speak with someone who was very good at their job. Everything was perfect after that. Email response was super quick and new phone arrived quickly and when promised. Activating the phone went easily as well.

I had accidentally cracked my phone screen and was able to have a replacement within a couple days. The setup of the new phone was simple as was the boxing and return instructions. Received replacement device quickly no issues. The reduced deductible for the amount of time since the last claim was a nice added feature. It pays do not abuse your insurance. I will continue to purchase insurance for my phone after this experience.

I went online to fill out information for the phone that stopped working. The next day a new phone was received. Definitely worth the insurance!!! Didn't have to wait for them to receive the broken phone. They sent a box for us to send phone back in when we received new phone.

Very good phone insurance. Very good customer service. Have needed a phone replaced for more than one time and it has never been a problem. Great insurance to have with kids phones. Kid had his phone screen shatter at school and it was replaced his replacement phone was stolen out of his locker and they replaced it.

We ultimately received a replacement device but it was a unique situation and I found dealing directly with Asurion very difficult and frustrating. Our issue was finally resolved with the help of the salesperson at the Verizon authorized retailer. It took a week to get it resolved.

My son then called their support service to activate the phone and attendant was able to walk him through the process that included syncing contacts, communications and photos from old phone. The process to request a replacement is straightforward. However, I experienced some confusion when the online form rejected the request by stating it could not be processed because the replacement device was not available. Upon calling, they asked if we would accept a different color device. Had the reject reason stated the instructions on how to resolve the issue, it would have been less alarming. Nevertheless, the phone call resolved the issue quickly. I would have preferred more proactive communication though. We received the replacement device the next day, earlier than expected! It was taken care of promptly and the timing was great. There is a slight problem is that I cannot retrieve and of my data off the old phone. I took it into AT&T Meyerland Houston, Texas, and they were not able to get the data. I need to go buy an USB OTG cable to retrieve the data. I know that I need to send the phone back, but will I be penalized if a little late? Please advise.

I filed and claim around 12:00pm Monday and had a brand new phone in my hand the next day. They gave me 10 days to transfer old data from old phone to new one which is plenty of time get that done. They also had great online chat support and phone support.

It was great. I thought it was going to be a nightmare but total opposite. The clerk Jerome was quick and explained everything and the new phone was delivered on time switched the SIM card and you would never know it was a different phone. Hats off to AT&T.

My first phone call was over 2 hrs long and transferred 7 times till I finally got a supervisor on the phone. The lady I talked to before the supervisor was rude and ignorant. My phone was finally replaced by the awesome supervisor I spoke with. However, it came broken. Got that one replaced. Only to be replaced with another broken one. Third one however is doing good so far. But I was DEF. not please with my original phone call.

I have had the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have had to schedule my appointments over and over and every time I call a representative they confirm it’s scheduled and then it gets canceled a couple days before. I came to find out it was bc my first appointment the tech marked it as complete even though he never even came in the house. But no one could do their job and fix that for several tries later. There is no management to do anything. The least you could do is offer something. And I was told I may get my deductible waived due to my trouble but they say I can’t bc they are out of a part. I scheduled it a week ahead so I can’t get it waived when that isn’t even my fault. It’s sad. I will be canceling as soon as my phone is fixed if ever.

The process was easy and the replacement phone came quickly. I just filled out the form online and explained what happened. The claim was approved and in 2 days the new phone showed up in the mail. There was a number on the box to call to help set up the new phone that was helpful. All the return postage information was enclosed and the old phone can be quickly returned.

We received our home the next day, unfortunately there was a problem with the replacement phone and it needed to be replaced again; I was very disappointed that I purchased a glass protection. It was over $40 and I was told I needed to talk to Verizon or the protection company to replace the glass protection and Asurion was not responsible to replace this item. I have had the protection plan from Asurion for several years and with that said I feel you need to accommodate your customers instead of telling them that is not your issue. If I told my customers that I would not have any. As someone who owns their own business my time is valuable and it’s not right that I need to be responsible to get the glass protector replaced especially when I pay a monthly fee for protection and Asurion sent us a replacement phone with a defect. I am still upset about the glass protector.

I bought an Asurion Protection Plan (extended warranty) for my OLED TV purchased from Walmart. I was assured that this warranty would cover image burn in, a common problem with OLED TV's. Well, I'm experiencing that very issue now with my OLED TV. Trying to file a claim with Asurion was arduous and frustrating. It took hours of phone calls and online forms before anyone would help me. Asurion sent a tech to look at my TV. The tech, 1 star on Yelp, didn't even examine my TV or run nay kind of diagnostics. He simply just took a photo of my screen. Shortly after Asurion denied my claim because they said my TV had image burn in. This is the exact issue I bought the warranty to cover. Asurion has basically told me tough luck... Their customer service is horrible and their warranties are worthless.

The only complaint I have is my replacement device didn’t match my device that need replaced. I was replacing my iPhone XMax and got an iPhone 6S. Granted I was using an iPhone 6S while waiting to replace my device.

Customer service is great...However, after placing my request for replacement of my damaged phone, the new one arrived and did not work at all. I even drove to a Verizon retailer and they said "send it back", so I did. Then waited for a 2nd replacement. Once it arrived, (no kidding) it took almost 3 hours with support services to get it operational. If I wouldn't have had a Samsung S8 that could "smart switch" I would have been sunk. I sent the equipment back that needed to be, Asurion emailed me a thank you after receiving it, but then I started getting "please send back your equipment", or you will be charged...phone calls. After 3 weeks they have ceased.

I Reported my phone stolen on a Friday. They gave me the exact instructions on what I needed to do. I completed them all online and my phone was overnighted to me. I was very satisfied and thankful that I had this coverage.

Your responsiveness and timeliness have always been outstanding whenever I had an issue. This time was no exception. Filing the claim took only a couple of minutes; the claim was processed right away once the office opened (I submitted during the weekend.), and the replacement device arrived the next business day. Getting everything set up, switched over and running took less than 10 minutes.

Matter was handled very quickly and professionally. My daughter had her new phone the very next day. My only complaint is that I think the deductible is a bit high, but I realize that the iPhone is a very expensive phone to have.

My fiance broke her phone and Asurion reply straight away! Everything got processed in about a day and my phone shipped two days after that! I was very pleased with how efficient the process was and how helpful they've been!

I have been dealing with Asurion for the last 2 weeks. When I first called to file a claim, it was for the battery on my phone. I was told it was covered and they would come out and replace the battery. So, week one, on the day they say they'll be out - No call and no tech. So, I call only to find out they cancelled the appointment without telling me. Because, they don't have a replacement SCREEN. I never asked for or have a broken screen! While on the phone I explain that I don't need a screen, I need a battery replacement.
Forward to week 2 - The tech arrives at my house on time. He comes in a says he's here to replace my Screen (my head almost explodes). I now explain to him that I need a battery replaced not a screen. He checks his van, and of course, does not have a battery. He says I'll need to contact Asurion again. As I type this, I am currently on the phone with Asurion, and have been for 30 minutes, trying to reschedule ANOTHER time for a tech to come out and replace the battery. We are now set for next week (week 3). I will be writing another review to let you know how it goes.
This is a service I pay for and is 100% not worth It. Unfortunately Asurion handles claims for all the major companies. I have paid for their service for as long as I remember and this is the first time I've ever had to use it. I know it may not be wise. But, I'm cancelling the protection on my devices, Until it is handled by a capable company. It would be easier to just replace my phone next time.

Agents are hit & miss - some are fantastic, others need better training. Website is perhaps too simple... It doesn't advise of any options, just marches you through the claim with no options. I had to call customer service to get it straightened out, and they couldn't do anything for 2 days because I had filed the claim. It would have been much better to have a message saying to stop and call if anything wasn't what you want. That would have saved me almost 4 days total. In the end, everything was settled to my satisfaction. Asurion deserves credit for making sure to follow through to the end.

I purchased the premium plan through AT&T to cover our two Iphones. We have been paying $35/month for the past 3 years. Was excited to hear they were offering battery replacement. I'm a volunteer firefighter and my phone is my primary method of communicating with our department and dispatch. After the third missed appointment, I have been bounced around from department to department with no hope of resolution. I have been on hold for over an hour waiting on a supervisor. I haven't ever been this mistreated by a so called service company.

Great experience, received my phone quickly. Was very pleased with the replacement phone. It arrived in a timely manner. The person I spoke on the phone was extremely helpful. Using the website to uploading the documents was easy to do. I did not have any problems.

Replacement received within 24 hours. Agent very helpful completing set-up. My only complaint with At&T is the bill constantly increasing. I adjusted my usage and removed 2 lines in June of 2019, and within 5 months, the bill had increased. Other carriers advertise the same features I have with AT&T for less than half of what I pay.

Excellent service. Fast arrival time. The set up took longer than expected. There were several dropped calls. Spoke with two different technicians to get the replacement phone set up. Overall outstanding service! I am so thankful for the protection service! I wish there was a way to find the phones once they are stolen so we can recover the original phone and press charges.

The phone I needed to trade in was in bad shape; it wasn’t holding a charge, and when I would place the phone on silent, it wouldn’t stay on silent. In addition, the vibrate function was very, very weak. Once I finally decided to turn in a claim, I received my phone very quickly! At no time did I feel I was working on an insurance claim. Straight & to the point. Replacement was delivered the next day. No if's, and's or but's. Even the number to call for set up & transfer had a person who was patient and waited on the line until everything was good to go.
