My son was pickpocketed and his phone was stolen from his front pants pocket. I made a claim online on Saturday and the phone was delivered on Monday. It was a very easy process. I am so glad we had insurance!

The new phone came quickly was a very easy smooth transaction. Would suggest anyone to use this service if they are accident prone like my wife. The best screen protectors etc can only protect so much. Good to have this service.

Excellent service and a quick turn around time! We broke a phone and had a new one in our hands within a couple of days. They are always quick to get the new phone out and they always communicate with you via email so you know where your claim stands.

After cracking the screen of my iPhone I needed to replace it. Submitting the claim was very easy and quick plus the new phone was delivered in two days. Returning the damaged phone was easy as well using the prepaid and preprinted label that was provided.

I filed my claim on Friday after 10 am. They said new phone would arrive in 2 business days. I was thinking I would get it Tuesday. FedEx was at my house before 9 am Saturday. The very next day. That is great service. Thanks.

This company has very poor customer service! No customer loyalty. They sent me the wrong phone. As per their EXACT instructions, I sent the phone back to them. The phone apparently got lost in the mail. They charged me a $112. deductible fee and said, "Tough luck, you are not getting a new phone and we are not giving you a reimbursement of $112." I have spent countless hours on the phone with them. Not to mention much grief, my waste of valuable time trying to talk to them. Terrible customer relations. The phone they originally sent me has never been activated, (this was verified by them) so clearly it was lost in the mail. This is not my fault. I just want the replacement phone as promised, or a refund of the $112. deductible they charged me. They say they have a customer care department, not so, it's a joke. They could care less. Never been treated so poorly. Do not use this Company!

My iPhone X screen stopped working in spots. The screen (cracked) had been repaired in November. I was immediately approved to receive a replacement phone and it arrived the NEXT DAY! The activation went smoothly. Very thankful for Asurion coverage and the terrific customer service!

Making the claim was easy and painless! My replacement phone was here the next day. I was emailed instructions on how to set the new phone up, the instructions were easy to follow. I am happy that we had insurance on the phones and that the process was so easy to go through. I would recommend having the insurance to anyone I know, and will let them know how easy the claim process was.

My phone was stolen twice in less than 6 months and both times my phone arrived the next day after filing claim. Asurion, easy and always a pleasure to work with. Hoping it does not happen again, but if it does I know I can always count on Asurion to get me a new phone to me asap when need be.

I have had cell phones for over 20 years and have always had insurance on them - just in case. It was generally a good experience dealing with Asurion to file and claim, pay the deductible (usually $40) and have the broken phone replaced. NOT ANY LONGER. The "insurance" service was retitled Sprint Complete - which was a complete disappointment. I was sent a "loaner" phone and sent my broken one in. I was told it would be fixed not replaced.
After a few days they contacted me to say the phone could NOT be fixed and would have to be replaced - or they could send my broken phone back. They left a number for me to call with a claim number. But - when I switched the service from the broken phone to the loaner phone - the loaner phone doesn't have coverage so when I called Asurion - the automated message told me the phone didn't have coverage. GOOD BYE.
I had to go through Sprint to get to Asurion - very disconcerting. Then I was told the deductible was $200. WHAT!!??? The phone NEW only cost $230. It was a model that was 2 yrs old and NOT worth $200. So I have been paying $25 a month for WORTHLESS non-coverage. And it took 48 mins on a call to get this information. Needless to say, I canceled anything Asurion. Will never recommend Asurion to ANYONE. I will discourage anyone who will listen. This was so deceivingly cruel. What was a good thing (phone insurance) is now a JOKE.

The website was really easy to navigate and set up my claim. They sent out my replacement iPad the next day and it arrived in 48 hours. Nice and fast. The process to return the broken iPad was super easy. They gave me the box, label and tape to close it up! I think the insurance is worth it.

My phone was stolen Friday and I created my claim for a new phone. I was waiting patiently to receive my tracking number but after two days I still had not even gotten that. I called and spoke to someone who put me on hold laughing at something someone said behind them. They then came back and told me that Asurion had canceled my order without telling me and she was going to put in the order the again. The next morning I still did not have a tracking number and I contacted customer support again to ensure it was still processing they told me by that night I should have the tracking number. That night with still no tracking number so I again contact customer service and someone said it still wasn't shipped and that was all they could say. I ask to speak to a manager and suddenly they found my tracking number.
The following night I FINALLY received my phone and it was refurbished. I did not get my phone because the company did not seem to think it was important to inform me they canceled my order. When I finally got the phone it took 2 specialist and an hour and a half to get the sim card activated. Overall this was the worst experience I have had with a company. It took not 1 to 2 days but rather 5 full days and then almost 2 hours on the phone waiting for the computer I guess. Just be warned to will have to be so patient and you will have to remind them every step of the way to do their jobs. This company should not make false claims that you will receive your phone in 1 to 2 days if they cannot stick to it.

Typically, we do overnight our devices, and usually will be delivered within 1-2 business days, once the claim has been submitted. In order to get you reconnected quickly, we do use new and like-new devices. However, your device does come with a 12-month limited warranty in the case of malfunction. Transaction was easy and straightforward. The device diagnostic test spoke for itself. AT&T provided a new device no questions asked. A new iPad was delivered 36 hours later. Fantastic! Plus the replacement was an upgrade from my older model.

Asurion has the monopoly on all cell phone companies! Thus is not fair to consumers. It gives us no other options which isn't fair! I have tried to make a claim several times and was unsuccessful because of the website and didn't get any further with a live agent. I currently have Sprint and refuse refuse to file a claim because of past experiences. I was with At&t for 10 years paying for insurance monthly and had to file a claim twice in the same year and was kicked out of the insurance because they don't allow more than 2 claims a year!!! After paying them monthly for 10 years that is why I don't like Asurion and because they are a monopoly!!

Verizon charges for insurance monthly. A replacement phone is sent, but for a cost. When the replacement phone arrives it has a defect and not working. This gives Verizon an opportunity to pitch a 5g phone. How would you feel? Get a 5g or do without a phone.

Called over the weekend regarding a stolen phone, entire situation was handled very professional and precise. Received the new phone with very little issues. No problems with receiving the new phone. The only issue came later, when I found my replacement is not “findable” by other iPhones in my family share group. Otherwise, the whole phone replacement process, including returning the old phone, was pretty seamless.

The phone replacement process was much simpler than this mom expected! The mobile total protection plan is worth every penny with Verizon. Having a teenager depart from their phone is not easy even when it was cracked, chipped and the inside workings were exposed. Asurion came through quickly and efficiently once we got past the turning off the “Find My Phone” part of the process. Dropped my phone down my ice fishing hole. It was submerged for 12 hours in 16 feet of water. Asurion was nice and fast getting me my replacement phone. I was able to download all my data and photos back onto my refurbished iPhone. Unfortunately the next morning the phone was totally dead the next morning. I was told by pro tech sometimes that happens. Asurion sent me out a second refurbished phone the next day. Danielle was excellent! I am so so impressed not only but the customer service, but on how fast my replacement phone came. I need my phone for work and was worried when told it could take up to 3 days to get my replacement phone. In reality it took less than 12 hours! I cannot thank Asurion enough. I had to return a phone that was a replacement and I encountered no problems getting a replacement for the replacement. The associate was very helpful, friendly and very polite. Hey, so I have an MBA in technology management and am in general a very nice caring person that is very common sense minded and I don't understand how Asurion has gotten so many good reviews since they are HORRIBLE! At least they were to us/are to us. They are worse than COMCAST. To keep this very short: ASURION SUCKS BIG TIME!!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! They are one of the WORST companies EVER, I HAVE dealt with having lived on 3 continents, been to 38 countries dealt with thousands of companies. They are up with Comcast that has their fair share of HATERS due to their absolutely horrific customer care and monopoly situation in many cities.
Our LG Fridge Freezer that cost $2,298.00 at THD, we had hoped to last 10 years, but it had issues already after a few months and 3 times inside the manufacturing warranty and now 2 MAJOR issues under Asurion and they just do now want to acknowledge that this IS A LEMON that should be replaced. Just from a common sense perspective it would be easier and better for both parties if they just replaced it with a new, fixed ours and sold it for maybe $900.00 since then I would not be upset/mad/frustrated with them and be here and going to TONS of other review sites telling the world about our HORRIBLE experience with LG and their insurance product.
From financial POV and from customer satisfaction POV and from a branding perspective replacing this item would VERY likely have been better on all those accounts. However, many American companies does not seem to care about their customers experience, once they have gotten their money=Very short term thinking and bad for long term profitability, but Asurion seems to have NO way to make any exception. Again, if we would have been told that the item has to FAIL FOUR TIMES under the extended warranty, we WOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN IT. Since that is excessive. However, 4 times in total, even if that is a stretch, felt reasonable.
So AVOID ASURION INSURANCE/SERVICE PLANS. Also, look at all other reviews kind of telling the same story and you'll see that we're not the only ones having issues with them. Also maybe, stay away from LG fridges, or at least this model, since this one apparently is a total lemon: LFXS30766S - serial: 701KRFN2F531.

I did not know I was paying for the device protection. I broke the screen on my iPad and even though you could not replace the exact one I paid a small difference and got a new iPad later model with more storage. I am very happy. PS. Not a problem but you paid for overnight delivery and UPS did not deliver for three days due to a problem on their end.

The process for reporting my lost found was super easy—I so appreciate the ease of it. The phone was sent quickly and expediently. This morning I called the number on the box and went through the steps with a super helpful young man named Eric. He was incredibly patient and kind. One problem, though: the SIM card I was sent does not fit into the SIM tray. Not even close. That means no phone until that gets sorted out. At first I thought that I had a simple screen repair so I scheduled that online. Two days later though, the phone was not working. I called Asurion and they changed my repair claim to a replacement and I had the replacement in three days. It would have been two days, but there was a Monday federal holiday. Should be 0 stars. Cell phone malfunctioning. I called to see what my insurance covered. Current phone IPhone 6s Plus. For my $112 co-pay, I qualified for another IPhone 6s Plus or an IPhone 7 Plus. Didn't know it would be refurbished. Wasn't told it might be. Chose IPhone 7 Plus. Original phone kept "tumbling". New refurbished phone, 1 week old, now tumbles. Called Asurion today. Discovered they had sent me a refurbished phone. Told them I don't want a refurbished phone. Had I known it would be one, would not have taken it. Was told the $112 copay is nonrefundable. Paid for insurance for 3-4 years--totally useless. Destiny in Customer Service was no help and had a bit of an attitude. Do not take Asurion Insurance on your cell phone. Not worth the paper the agreement is written on.

I got my replacement device in two days and the transfer and set up was so easy!! All I had to do is put my old device in the box and apply the shipping sticker that was provided and dropped it off at the post office. Everything was so easy to do and my replacement iPhone works great! The new longer battery life is a plus!! The repair tech was a no show no call for the first appointment. I called in at approximately 8:30PM and was told to call back if I had not heard anything by 9:00PM, I called back at 9:10 PM only to find the office closed. Chris gave me bad info!! Called back next day, rescheduled appointments and tech no called no showed again. Called in at 8:50PM and spoke to pleasant young lady who was very helpful. She arranged for me to get a new phone and everything went perfectly after she intervened. GREAT EMPLOYEE, wish I could remember her name.

Called Asurion regarding phone replacement. Never received charger or headphones as I should have. Rep was very rude, kept over talking me, and laughing rudely as I was talking. I stated that items were missing and the Rep refused to listen. I do not suggest anyone call this place. My primary language is English and Rep continuously stated that she don't what I'm talking about or cannot understand the reason for my call. I told the Rep that I was going to leave a review and the rep said she did not care. They need to have training.

Their brochure does not say that the Iwatch face is not covered. I was sold this warranty for a Iwatch. After paying them $15 a month for the past 15 months they now say that the watch face is not covered and it's a full replacement so it's $105 instead of $29 to replace the cracked screen. That's false advertising at best.

I had a cracked screen in need of repair. Seems simple enough. I paid my $29 deductible & scheduled for a technician to come to my house because the nearest location for drop off is 40 minutes away. My appointment is scheduled between 7am & 9am. 9:05am no call, no show. I use the online tracker & it shows my claim has been completed & the work is guaranteed for 12 months. I call in, explain my conundrum & 22 minutes later my call ends with a same day reschedule (many excuses why they might not have come the first time, no solid answer) between 5pm & 7pm. 6pm & still nothing but I remain hopeful. I check the tracker & it now says that they're sorry my device was irreparable & to continue my claim, select the link. No one has come. How is it not repairable?
I call in. Explain to rep #1 the issue. She then tells me they have a replacement device on the way, so I tell her I am confused because no one saw my device to determine if it needed replacement. She then backtracked & kept repeating that I was still within my time frame for them to show, but I explain again my work order has been marked as not repairable. She places me on hold & proceeds to cold transfer me to a poor guy that had no idea what was going in.
At this point I'm pretty livid. I explain to rep #2 my new issues. After extensive holds, him getting hung up on as well he comes back to tell me I can either get a replacement device at no cost because they've cancelled on me twice or attempt to reschedule. Some issue was with the technician's software & he had no answer as to why I was not contacted. He was equally frustrated. I tell him I'd rather just do the repair because I do not want a refurbished device. To finish with my problem he has to get another rep on the line.
Rep #3 makes me go through everything again because somehow he believes there has to be a reason they deemed it not repairable which became very frustrating. They lied. Nothing more, nothing less. He tells me my options are replace the device at cost of $120 to me, $29 has already been paid (even though rep 2 said it would be waived, apparently he was mistaken). Or cancel my current claim & file another but I will use one of my 3 yearly claims doing so. So either way I am being punished for something I did not cause.
I opt to drive the 40 minutes sometime within the next week to drop it off for repair because now I do not trust these technicians. He tells me I have to pay $29 again. My previous $29 that I paid will be refunded sometime within the next few days supposedly. After all this he had the nerve to attempt to up sell me on their total home coverage. Wow. Just wow. I'm disappointed. And extremely dissatisfied at how little this company cares about my time wasted. Total time wasted by Asurion has been: 2 hours initial appointment, 22 minutes first call, 1 hour second appointment, 81 minutes second call, next factor in my 40 minute drive, 45 minute estimated completion time, plus 40 minute drive back home equals 6 hours 8 minutes roughly (through Austin traffic it will probably be more). And I had to pay for this! $29 isn't much but to be THIS inconvenienced? RIDICULOUS.

I had a broken Screen on my IPhone 6. When I called the company, I was told to file a claim and take my phone and have it repaired and send the invoice to Asurion for reimbursement. When I filed the claim, I was then told that I would have to mail the phone to Asurion and have to wait for a refund of the cost of the phone. This would have taken several days, and then I would first have to purchase a new phone. I could not be without the phone for possibly 10-14 days. I wound up paying $40 to have the phone fixed and returned to me the same day. I found the contract useless.

I would not leave a review this bad unless it was crucial. After 10 years of paying for Asurion insurance for four phones (regretting that now) we utilized it to replace my daughter's phone. She was heading out of country. We got the phone the day she left. She activated the phone, got on the plane and at her first stop realized the phone emitted a shock every time she made a call. Ridiculous waste of our money, dangerous equipment delivered To my daughter, and now she is out of country without a phone!!!

I called on a Monday late afternoon, to order a replacement phone for a Samsung Galaxy S8 Active that I lost. I was told that I would receive a S9 Active. I had fast & prompt delivery. But when I received my replacement it was a S9 not what I had been told. I called to ask why & make sure that I had the correct product. Then I proceed to used the online chat to activate the replacement phone & everything was supposed to be set & it wasn't. I had to call Asurion back & have them activate it correctly. Everything is working correctly now. Other than these two issues, I have not had any problem from this company.

I filed a claim and it was approved. They said my replacement would be here within 3 or so days. A week went by and I never heard anything. I checked on my account and it said canceled. No one ever called me or told me or was going to. I had to call them and confirm, "Hey yeah I'd like a phone because mine is broken and I pay you every month."

AMAZING service if you CALL DIRECTLY! Fast, accurate and polite. Phone came. Turned it on. All my stuff started copying to the new phone like magic! Couldn’t believe how EASY that was! They even made the return dummy-proof. I simply handed the box to my mail carrier and it was done. Don’t even bother with the online method because it’s too confusing and you will be rejected. Phone was stolen and Asurion replaced it within 2 days. This was only 2 months after the last phone was damaged and replaced. The deductible was $200, but that was better than having to buy a new phone. The high price of phones nearly demands that you need to buy insurance. The same goes for health care and health insurance. It's a scheme between the insurers and the providers of the phones. High priced phones drive people to buy the insurance plan, it's a win-win for both of them.

I was very happy with my experience. My daughter's phone screen was cracked. Asurion had it repaired for my agreed on fee, but the phone stopped working less than a day later. Asurion replaced the phone with a brand new one at no cost to me.

The replacement was quick, smooth, and very little effort on my part. Only disappointment was I had to go to a smaller replacement watch. I was used to the 42mm and had to go to a 40mm, but it is a very nice watch nonetheless. I was glad I carried the insurance coverage.

I broke my phone late on a Tuesday night. I went to Verizon the next morning who referred me to Asurion once I found out I had an insurance plan on the phone. I submitted an online claim with them WHILE on the phone with a Customer Service rep for Asurion. I am then initially told that I will receive my replacement phone on the same day Wednesday night between 5-7pm. I first thought this is too good to be true and WOW was I right. At 645pm I receive a call from what I imagine to be an Asurion warehouse/shipping department as they tell me they do not have my iPhone in stock and will have one out to me Tomorrow, (Thursday) at some time before 7pm and that I have to sign for the package.
I stay home all day on Thursday waiting for said package, trying to track it on their website which just refers me to re-submit my claim as if I didnt do all of it the day before and was told by the Customer Service rep that everything went through and everything was fine. 7pm has come and gone only for me to find out that the claim WAS NOT entirely submitted properly even though I was told otherwise. So the first rep I spoke to had given me wrong information, and the second one told me a payment has yet to be processed (a charge of ZERO DOLLARS had to be authorized???). It wasnt until the third Customer Service rep I spoke to that FINALLY gave me clearance that all the claims were submitted and my new phone is "on the way".
I am now supposed to receive my phone at some point tomorrow, (Friday) as opposed to the original time (Wednesday Night). This entire process has been very frustrating and I put multiple things on hold to wait for this phone to supposedly arrive today. I will be sure to cancel not only my Asurion plan but my Verizon plan as well as soon as I receive my replacement phone, (if I even do).

I dropped my phone in water, and destroyed it. Verizon reminded me I had insurance on it, and gave me the details of starting a claim. Within 2 days, I had a new phone. It came with reminders of all the apps I had on the one I dropped. It was great! Thanks ever so much!

I successfully filed a claim with Asurion for a replacement of my iPad Pro. I paid the deductible and was notified that delivery of the item was scheduled for the next business day (2/10). Later on 2/10, I receive a notification that the shipment is delayed. However, there is no tracking information. I contact Asurion via chat and engage four different times until I am advised to call another number for resolution. The solution is to either purchase the device and submit a claim for reimbursement or wait for the company to issue me a check. Both options require seven to ten business days to process. Not once, during any of these conversations, am I informed that the item is not in stock. I was told that a call was made to the fulfillment department and research was being done. I was also able to confirm that my account was debited on 2/9/2020 for the deductible.
I shared that I was traveling and needed my device prior to leaving. So four days later, it is finally shared that the company does not have the item in inventory. Sprint upsells this insurance whenever a device is purchased. Specifically in my case, insurance can be purchased via Apple. This is sold as product service to maintain continuity of use with your device. Unfortunately, in this case, not only has the vendor failed to provide that service, they did not fully disclose why they were unable to honor their commitment.

They must have a better customer service. Claims should be made in person with an agent who gave you explanations or solutions. I made the claim online and the page is not efficient. At the end I did not use the equipment that they sent.

We are pleased with the process (prompt service) when replacing a damage or lost phone. I do feel as though the deductible has become a bit too step at close to $200. I would think that business from Asurion would grow (monthly payments) represented by multiple new customers if the deductible were lower. Otherwise, I'm glad to have our devices covered by insurance. Thank you.
