I have had two recent claims with Asurion in the past six months. The first was a cracked screen on the wife's phone. Asurion came to us and replaced screen as well as replacing the case that the tech accidentally cracked. All for $29. Second claim was on my Galaxy S9. I filed a claim at 10:00 p.m.. A new phone arrived at 09:00 the next morning. Unbelievably great service. This is how Verizon keeps my business

I was pleasantly surprised about how helpful customer service is, and easy to do my claim online. I had a new phone the following day, with detailed set up instructions. I mailed my own phone back in a self addressed stamped envelope. Thanks again! I am glad to have this service.

Very pleased with fast action and new phone sent overnight. Excellent service. The very first time it ever lost or broke a phone, easy process to get it replaced. My phone was stolen from public restroom while traveling. Also first time I had ever took out insurance on a phone, glad I did. I had my phone less than 2 weeks when it was stolen.

We went to our local AT&T because our phone was damaged. The rep there was very helpful and contacted Asurion. A replacement was to be sent to us. It never arrived. We called Asurion and found out the order was never submitted. The Asurion rep that we spoke to submitted the order. We received the phone as promised and we were very happy. The setup was easy and our representative was very helpful and courteous. Thank you Asurion!

Prompt response. The AT&T customer service helped me with my broken cellphone. I followed it up online and Asurion responded very quickly. No problem in delivering the new cellphone. I would recommend to use Asurion for all cellphone insurance. Again, thank you for your prompt response.

The representative was very knowledgeable, and friendly and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend the company to others due to how easy the representative made the process. During this tough time other customer service representatives have been rude, but the woman I spoke with was very upbeat, and cheerful, making the experience more pleasant than expected.

We tried UNSUCCESSFULLY to just do everything on-line. But it was difficult to find your number to call and talk to a real person, but after we got a hold of someone everything went very smooth. If we would have gotten a hold of a real person to begin with, things would have been a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE.

First replacement came as another color but someone was able to help me get another color even though not original color. Someone emailed me from customer service and followed the to get everything I needed squared away and quite quickly.

The service was great. I did a claim on Monday and Tuesday my replacement device was delivered. Everything was quick and easy to manage online. It came with the instructions and proper paperwork to return the old device. I’m very pleased with my service with Asurion.

I had to replace my phone due to a crack screen and was very pleased with how fast and efficient the new phone delivery was. When it came to activating the phone the representative was extremely helpful as well as thorough. I’m very happy with my replacement and while I wouldn’t want to be in the position to use this service again, I am grateful for what is offered with this insurance package. Thank you!

It was very stressful for us when my husband realized his phone was ruined the day before a family outing. It was a long procedure to go through the insurance claim, but each person who handled a different part of the procedure was both kind and understanding. Was very easy to set up my new phone. Had a little trouble with the online set up to file my insurance claim. Had to call my local store and have the manager (who told me they could not help me) who connected me with someone who could.

Replacement phone arrived as scheduled. I needed AT&T to help set it up because the screen was out and there were no instructions about what to do. But it’s all done now, the old phone is on its way to you, and everything can get back to normal.

Everything was fine. It's just that I've got insurance on the phone's and yet I still have to pay 168.00 dollars. That's the part I don't understand. I get it paying something but 168.00 dollars that's a lot so I guess if you want the phone you have to pay for it.

Fast courteous service. Received my phone the next day and I called late in the afternoon! Phenomenal service! Agent offered option to use Apple warranty but I needed my phone ASAP! Nothing else to say except SIM cards that arrived with phone no good - has to go to ATT store for new SIM card.

Updated on 07/14/2020: I had a good experience with your company. The phone arrived in a timely manner. The 14 day transfer switch time was enough. The only thing that I can complain about is the phone flash doesn't work. I have tried to shut phone down completely and restart it. Nothing works to make the flash come on. Everything else works well on the phone but the flash. What do I do now??
Original Review: Timing was quick, deductions should be less, but service was very good. 200 dollars is hard for most people that need your service. My refurbished phone is working well and I like the concerned attitude of your representative. The new phone arrives with an easy to use return package. I believe 14 days is a time limit to allow for file transfer.

Device showed up quickly, and was easy to set up and return the damaged device. The website to order the device was challenging to understand, but got it done. Not sure what my insurance price will be yet, so it's hard to say if I'm completely satisfied with the experience yet.

I recently broke my phone and needed to be replaced...I went to the AT&T store where the associate knew how to put in the claim in a very timely manner.. I think it took a total of 15 minutes...I had my phone 2 days later...I was extremely happy with getting my new phone...and I mailed back my old one...very easy...thanks...I am very grateful. It was one thing I didnt really have to worry about...so much going on....great customer service!

My overall experience was good. The process was simple and went well. I did have some trouble getting my new phone set up and had to go into the Verizon store as the instructions for transferring data to my new phone wasn't the clearest. You might want to make steps clearer for people who are not buying phones every 6 months to a year.

We had a great experience. Got the phone the next day. Despite the screen on the damaged phone being severely damaged, we were able to easily transfer the information from the old phone to the new phone. We got prompt and exceptional service on the phone when trying to transfer the data.

The charging port stopped working on my Verizon Galaxy S9+. I completed online submission from and my phone was replaced by Asurion. Replacement phone seems new. Fast replacement and easy return. I am happy with Asurion service. I am glad that I had the replacement plan.

I had to utilize Asurion for a replacement device in the middle of June 2020. The new replacement device arrived within 2 days, and set up was fairly easy. However, the phone stopped working less than 24 hours later and I was unable to turn it on or use it. Asurion was able to send me another replacement item, but this one took a week to ship. The phone finally arrived, and again had technological problems from the get go. I am either getting lemons or all of their replacement refurbished phones do not work like they should. Getting in contact with a real person takes a long time as they want you to utilize their chat system, which is not much help.

An absolute nightmare! Outdated caveman approach to identifying customers and condescending supervisors in the care solutions department. Specifically, "Cheryle", ID# **. She needs to figure out how to do her job correctly and not tell customers one thing just to then change her mind when she gets aggravated and blame it on a typo. Completely unprofessional and annoying while all I want to do is receive a quality product that I already paid for. Absolutely no consideration for the mental stress caused by the design of the Asurion corporation. Considering Asurion has the monopoly on any insurance for quality phone carriers, the customer is essentially powerless and it is not right to take advantage of a customer who has done nothing wrong and has already paid the necessary fees.
Why make a customer jump through hoops because Asurion can't figure out how to properly test products before they ship? Surely there is a better way to verify someone's identity faster. Why not communicate with the people you partner with and mutually use their verification process already in place to save time and stress? I guess that would make too much sense...smh.

AT&T ordered replacement phone Saturday night and it arrived Tuesday morning. Old phone had been paid off for 8 months. We paid a deductible and accepted a refurbished phone that was in excellent condition and worked perfectly. We were able to complete the transfer ourselves with no problems or difficulties. Delivery was fast and we are very satisfied.

I submitted my claim online, no problem, no stress or struggle. My phone got here next Tuesday. My phone fall from my pocket and cracked the screen on the 4th of July, submitted my claim same day and got by Tuesday.

Very easy process. Fast response. Better to do online than to talk with the representative. FedEx was extremely slow. It took 4 days to get here. Maybe you should consider using a faster delivery service. It was also a lot easier to activate the phone online than with the representative.

My new phone is perfect and I love it. I really love my new phone. This is the first time I had ever cracked the screen on my phone and AT&T really helped me a lot. It arrived quickly and precisely when noted. The process of placing the claim was a tiny bit difficult as we did not have a printer because we were out of town when my phone went down. The form getting printed involved getting a person to print for is, signing it, photocopying and getting back to you. Other than that... all great.

I had water damage. I am a little disappointed given I have only had the phone for 6 months and was told it was IP68. I answered my phone with wet hands and it damaged the phone. My phone was replaced within 24 hours.

Online process did not work well. I had to have a Verizon person live, intervene to move the process along to ascertain the replacement phone. Once app completed, process moved along swiftly. My daughter seem to be pleased with her replacement phone. Thank you.

Beginning early May 2020, I have been trying to get a replacement for my iPhone 11. Face ID does not work and speaker crackles. I still have not received a replacement. I have spoken to multiple agents and told that “they do not have that model, and it would have to be added to their inventory. Once it has been added an agent would reach out to me to process claim”. Approximately 3 weeks go by and I hear NOTHING, I gave them a little time due to COVID. Called again in June 16th and spoke to Travis and then Paul (supervisor ), was told that was never added to their inventory and was assured that it would be added and I would receive a call back in 48 hours to process claim.
Fast forward to July 10th- NOT ONE CALL REACHING OUT...I called and spoke to Paul again and reassured that they “just added the iPhone yesterday”. They emailed me a return label, but said that the phone had to be sent back before a replacement would be shipped. I asked if it could be overnight shipping and was told no-could be up to 10 days. I have been lied to multiple times and am afraid that they are telling me this just so I will stop bothering them. I would have no issues shipping my broken phone back (it is still usable) if I was not mislead multiple times throughout this process. I would like Asurion to overnight the replacement and I will send the broken phone to them.

Fast shipping. Only problem was with getting phone setup, for some reason it create a new number but no line but Verizon quickly resolved the issue. The representative took care of me and ensured that I was not going to have to pay for a line that was created by mistake.

Phone wasn't replaced in 24 hrs like being said... I think something to do with third party involvement. Maybe 36 hrs. Didn't want to overrate my experience. Would I recommend this Asurion insurance... absolutely. I was satisfied in general. I really don't think another insurance company could have done any better on the time frame.

Asurion rep came to my house to fix my iPhone screen. He fixed it fast and was very professional. Having the drive up service is such a convenience - You don't have to make time to take the trip to a local store. The rep pulls up, takes your phone and runs you through everything when he's finished. I would definitely recommend!

Phone arrived fast. So far, no technical problems with phone. Only complaint, monthly rate for insurance is high. $45 a month...and $200 to replace phone. You’re definitely banking. I’ve probably already paid for 1/2 of a new phone already...and receive a refurbished one.

Dropped my phone over a cliff, completely unretrievable. Went online with Asurion and followed a clear process to file a claim and obtain a replacement phone. I paid a reasonable deductible and had a new phone in a couple of days. The replacement had a set of instructions that hat me up and running in a couple of hours with all of my apps and files restored. Definitely saved much hassle.

We went online to process our claim on Sunday and the screen said a replacement would be overnighted so we thought we were done. We went to our account on Tuesday to check the shipping status, but there wasn't one, so we called the customer service. She was extremely helpful and nice. She told us that our order had not been submitted, so she helped us complete our claim and we received the replacement phone the next day. When you buy their 2-year warranty and make a claim in the 1st year they tell you that it doesn't start until after the year of the manufacturer's warranty ends. So in effect you have 3 years. But when you make a claim in the 3rd year they tell you no, that it runs concurrent with the manufacturer's warranty. This is a scam. They sell you a 2-year plan and only give you a year. I have made claim in the first year and they made me call the manufacturer to get the problem resolved. They refused to honor their plan. Stay away from their "protection plan". It is a waste of money. And Walmart selling them should be ashamed to be in business with them.

I recently filed a phone claim with Asurion. I've never had a problem before always very easy process. I was offered a home protection for my electronics in my home. It includes TVs, DVD's, tablets, speakers etc. I have a chronic condition called Ataxia which is impaired coordination. I specifically asked if it covered broken screens because of my condition I loose my balance easily. The agent who assisted me said yes, asked several times to make sure. Today I lost my balance and I grabbed the TV by the corner and broke it. Half of the screen is black. Called to file a claim for my TV, well it turns out that I was lied by the agent and it does not cover any drops or broken screens. Only reason I added the plan because it did. I understand what it doesn't cover but the problem is that the agents are selling with even knowing everything. They aren't well informed of their offers and what it really covers.

Like this last time she forgot where she had it last and then it’s lost and then they find it down the street. Once I made the claim online the replacement phone was here in less than two days. Always great service! Highly recommend getting the insurance especially if you’re like me and can’t live without a phone.

Very fast and easy experience to get phone replaced! Especially online! Great job! I all the options online to replace the phone were intuitive and everything was done in less than 3 minutes. The phone arrived in 2 days! We were even sent the box to return the phone with all instructions!

My Samsung Galaxy 6 active phone was having issues with battery life. I contacted Asurion and filed a claim. The representative was very helpful. I received my new phone in 2 days. The process is quick and easy and I would recommend this insurance.

I was sent a replacement phone with Non working GPS. What was more shocking was the lack of help after receiving the phone. Asurion sent me to Verizon, who sent me back to Asurion for days. I spent HOURS on the phone and never got an answer, apology or solution. Ended up returning the new phone for a refund and buying a new phone outright. Years of insurance payments were a waste, given the fact that they couldn’t help me and shifted the blame when I finally made a claim.

Yes the customer service was great. She was personable and understanding. I did stress though that our phones did NOT have any water damage or cracked screens. My phone cost me 1500 and in 3 months time I had to have the manufacturer replace due to screen issues. Then I asked for a replacement again recently because my phone was heating up when charging. But again customer service was wonderful. Thank you to you agent in Missisippi.

The submit claim process was very quick online, the phone arrived next day, and pre-printed labels as well. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes altogether. Very happy that I was able to get my phone up and running next day.

While the process seemed fairly straightforward, the information sent in an e-mail about setting up the phone did not apply to the phone I purchased. There are also a host of problems even after getting the phone set up - I had to go to a non-AT&T phone service store to get help migrating my accounts. I have also run into problems with the phone being vulnerable to external tampering. I have had phone calls dropped and put on hold because someone is trying to "Blue-jack" my phone, AT&T text messages overriding my phone calls and cutting them off, etc. It would be nice if there was some kind of support for those issues.

When my son told me his phone suddenly wouldn't turn on, I silently hoped his one one of the phones which carried insurance. It was, and replacing the phone could not have been easier. A new one arrived literally the next day, along with a box to return the broken phone in. End of story!

Agent was polite, helpful and service was given expeditiously. Very pleased with process simplicity and timeframe for delivery. Was unable to get same model, but were instead offered a better model... which was an unexpected plus. Was able to complete the process via phone in under 15 minutes.

Everything was perfect except I was told it would be replaced with a S8 Active. Since I had an S7 Active but what I received was an S8, not Active but I'm not complaining, all went smooth. This phone seems to be a good replacement.

Good service and fast delivery, I really recommend this insurance. It was easy to fill out the claim, the new phone looks ok, no scratches or something bad, already set up my info and is working just right... I’m pretty happy with this service.
