    For the life of me I can not see why you are still in business. I made a claim a week ago. You said you'd get back to me in 3 hours. If I hadn't called 6 days later and waited 30 minutes to speak to someone who had no idea even what day it was, I wouldn't know that my replacement phone is backordered. BACKORDERED? What does that mean? Why on earth would you pretend to want to give me service that I pay for every month, but then not be able to because you don't have stock. This tells me one of two things. Either you're a scam or Motorola phones are so bad you've run out of stock replacing them. You have now cost me more in not having a working phone than I saved using your less than adequate service.     I did not realize that my replacement iPhone would be a refurbished off -market phone rather than a brand new iPhone. I should have read the fine print on the warranty program.     My wife and I had 2 Samsung A50 cell phones, both of which lost a significant amount of battery power within just over a year of service. We also paid for the Asurion extended warranty which, according to their website, is supposed to cover wear and tear.     Purchased a pool cleaner ago along with the 3 year warranty via Amazon. The cleaner head failed to remain on. Submitted to Asurion for repair. Unit could not be repaired. Asurion indicated an Amazon Gift Card would be sent in 24 - 72 hours. 10 minutes after the initial email I received the gift card. Amazon no longer carries the unit preferred to receive a credit to my card or check. Informed by Asurion the only option is a gift card. To make matters worse since gift card notification was sent Asurion would not consider reimbursement by check. Worst experience ever. What is the point of reimbursement if Asurion and amazon refuse to return the money. Again DO NOT PURCHASE.

However very upset my insurance only covers cracks on the front when I was told it's EXTREMELY easy and common for them to occur on the back of the phone as well as the front.     Updated on 10/24/2020: Follow up on resolution of claim. Had I not been persistent and patient through almost 2 hours of phone call holds I think I would still be awaiting a non-existent replacement of iWatch. Frustrating experience and needed to insist in escalating my request for information. I should have been more insistent earlier and may have cut replacement time. Ultimately, Asurion was unable to replace the device and sent me a check. Surprisingly, Verizon was able to deliver a replacement within 2 days!

    Original Review: It's been 10 days since I filed a claim. My item is unavailable and the replacement is unavailable and I have no idea when I will get it. It's frustrating to get an automated call every 2 days to tell me that they have no idea when a replacement device will be available. Amazon Prime guarantee's delivery in 3 days!

    My son's phone would no longer text, we carry insurance so we placed a claim on 9/17/20. They said they sent the phone, we were able to track it close to our address, but it was never delivered. They said they "recalled" it. We then filed another claim, on 9/27, but now Asurion required an Affidavit and copy of my driver's license, which was provided. This is the first time we've replaced the phone. For 10 days I've been making daily phone calls, with no result. I've heard "We are out of his phone and you'll have to wait until they come in", and "It will either be sent in 3-5 business days or you'll receive a check", and "It will be shipped in 1 or 2 days", and they were ALL LIES.

    We've been loyal customers of ATT for well over 20 years, and have paid insurance the entire time. This is totally ridiculous. As I write this, I am again on a phone call with Asurion, and my timer is at 22 minutes, with no human being on the other end of the phone call, and no end to this in sight. I do not believe they deserve even 1 star!! Totally frustrated!!!

    The representative that I spoke with was very good and knew her product.. The problem I have is with the company that was supposed to come and fix the screen. They waited until 30 minutes to my appointment to reschedule because parts weren't in, that should have been something that they could of called me and rescheduled way ahead of time!

    My experience with Asurion was very good. Replacement phones arrived in a timely manner and was able to get them up and running in a couple of days. Would definitely recommend this service to friends and family. Actually went into the AT&T store for assistance and that went very well. Anything else I needed I contacted Pro Tech - and they were also very helpful and answered all my questions.
