My watch front just fell off before Christmas! I went online and submitted a claim and had my new watch 2 days later!! Amazing.. great experience, my normal co-pay was cut in half due to no claims, and shipping the old watch back was easy. Everything was there: just dropped it off at UPS.

I purchased the Samsung Note 20 Ultra. The camera lens shattered within a couple weeks. The insurance carrier is Asurion. I paid for a replacement phone which was sent with a blocked sim card and was unable to use the replacement phone, in turn not being able to send back my broken phone. I contacted my phone provider (Bell) who told me to contact the insurance company (Asurion). I called Asurion who told me to contact my phone provider. This game of passing the ball played out a few times, of one telling me to contact the other. Eventually Asurion indicated that they took the block off the phone but would have to wait 24-48 hours. I waited the time period and the block had not been lifted. I contact Asurion back who indicated that they would again remove this block. Again I had to wait 24-48 hours.
Yet again, only to be disappointed of the phone still having the block on it. During this time I was given a 30 days time frame to return the broken phone. Since Asurion was unable to unblock the phone they indicated that there were notes on the file to extend this date. This all started in October. Today is December 25th, 2020, Christmas day, during a global pandemic. When the world is forced to not have in person contact we are relying heavily on our phones to contact our loved ones. I was not able to make a single phone call, text message or use my unlimited data to contact any family or friends on one of the most important days of the year. I called bell again and yet again they indicated that they could not do anything because it was Asurion that has now put a block on the phone and that I would have to call them. I call Asurion only to find out that they are closed on today, Christmas day.
I go to Asurion website to see if they have a live chat, only to find out that the "Live Chat" was down and it's being worked on. I even sent an email explaining in depth of the issues and I still have not heard back. This service is an absolute disgusting despicable low. A company should have NEVER allowed this to go on for this long let alone disconnecting a Bell phone on Christmas Day. The fact that I paid over $1000 for a device and paid the premium too to have a new phone sent to me that does not work and the issue still has NOT been rectified MONTHS later is absolutely disgusting.

The Replacement phone came fast and we called the number provided and the assistant we called to help to set up the phone was so helpful. The new Phone is working fine and we mailed back the old phone. Thank you for your assistance in this phone issue that we had on the black screen on the old phone.

I was extremely pleased, they helped me tremendously, I had my replacement cell phone less than 22 hours; awesome service, great customer service! It took me over ten try to get in touched with an associate in three weeks but received replacement cell phone fast after the report. The model I received was a lower memory one though, a 256 instead of the 512 I paid for.

Was able to get a replacement in two days, made the setup easier to transfer all my stuff to the new phone. They also provided the the shipping materials to ship the old phone in. The price to have it replace is reasonable.

Customer service was great and the service was amazing. A bit disappointed in the replacement phone I received, much smaller than the one I previously owned however it's a newer model. Shipping was made within 1 to 2 business days, made the claim on a Friday got the phone on a Tuesday.

Quick service. Very well-handled. The entire process took about 10 minutes in the ATT store. Emails were immediate, concise, and timely. I had a new phone in about 48 hours. This is the precise reason why we carry the policy on all of our phones.

My new phone works great. It is awesome. When I'm on speakerphone sometimes people can't hear me but I will always recommend this company to people. I honestly I think that it is worth $150 discounted to get my phone fixed. The normal price is 250 but they gave me a Christmas gifts out always recommended.

Overall, a super easy no hassle process. Phone arrived quickly with easy return instructions. Could not ask for a better overall experience. Everything was fine - I needed the phone faster than 2 days later and the new SIM card didn’t work but so far the phone is working - but the camera is not as good as it used to be - milky appearance images.

Sent a replacement request. Every rep gives different information. Whenever I call, the reps add 24 hours to the request. Rude and pathetic service!! It looks like a scam company to be honest. Paying every month was useless.

I was very disappointed with inaccurate information. I reported the lost device on Sunday. The rep volunteered that I would be available for next day receipt. That made me excited because I use this device for a personal business. When the next day was upon me, I did not receive my device. Instead, I received notice via email that I would not receive my replacement device until Wednesday (when Monday was promised).
When I called, the rep said that he should not have promised that as that service was not available. I appreciate that but I do not know what Assurion's policies are. The rep then offered me the ability to go purchase a phone at an AT&T store and they could reimburse me for the purchase. The problem with that is that all of the stores were closed and I did not have a spare $550 for a new phone. I would have rated 1 star, but they did offer a gift card in exchange for the hassle. Prior Asurion claim went real quick and easy.

10/10 they are fast and got us a new phone almost immediately. Havent gotten finished with the claim just yet though. We had originally planned to upgrade our phone but our ATT man advised us to just us the ins. I also like that they just tack the deductible onto the next bill but I wish the deductible wasn't so much.

I love that I can file the claim online without any difficulties. When I had to call the service representatives are always pleasant and take care of any questions I may have. It took me way too much time to get my claim approved. I have not had that trouble in the past. The person that requested documentation did not bother to tell us they did not get it all on the fax. I would think they should have informed me. Not very good customer service. It was like one department was not communicating with each other. Once we worked through that everything was fine. I hope that does not happen in every case. Thanks so much to the people that actual did their job, and acted like they cared.

The rep that I finally got helped out the most after 7 transfers. The new phone got delivered 2 days before I expected it. Then the tech rep she got me back online with my Daddy’s phone because he is 80 years old and she made sure that his phone was totally operational. The last lady I spoke to was very nice but everyone else sucked. They were short and rude for a mistake that they made. They sent something I had already paid for to the wrong address then tried to act like I did it. I have updated my address twice and it's still wrong. Pitiful.

Asurion was phenomenal! Due to issues with the shipping company (FedEx) I had to speak with multiple agents. Each of them were extremely helpful, understanding and pleasant to chat with. FedEx created issues that required 3 separate shipments of the replacement device. Asurion never delayed the next shipment because of the shortcomings by the delivery service. Every single agent was a blessing.

New phone came fast, setup instructions were pretty good although neglected to mention anywhere that I had to swap the sim card! Luckily we figure that out without having to call in. Also- received reminder emails to return the old phone, but never received confirmation it had been received by Asurion. Would have been nice since the charge for not returning phone is significant. Just set the money you would have paid this company aside in a savings account for a new phone. Asurion is garbage... The monthly payments we pay for this service are not worth it. When you look at the overall cost for the service, then the "deductible" you have to pay for the replacement phone it isn't worth having this insurance. It would be better to save all that money in an account and use it for the purchase of a new phone if your phone breaks. They offer no value or service. ESPECIALLY when you consider the amount of effort you have had to go through to get a replacement. That's a lot of work on the consumers end. I am not sure they offer any service at all. When you add up the cost month to month, then the deductible for the replacement phone, it would be better to save your money toward a replacement or upgrade if your phone breaks.
The bureaucracy of these cell phone companies is depressing. I have had to spend far too long on the phone and writing e-mails to try to get help with my phone, and in the end the cost of that service is absurd for the amount of effort I had to go through to get an overpriced replacement. Save your money and time and put the money you would have wasted on Asurion aside into a savings account. Their Website is a nightmare. It seems simple, but when you go to check on your claim, it just ends up creating a new one, and you will have to eventually end up wasting at least an hour of your time getting help.

I submitted the order on Weds and given an eta of 8pm Thurs. Checked status and FedEx said the address was wrong. They made me call asurion to update. Asurion said they would have to update and send a new phone out after fedex ships back the first phone. New eta Monday of next week! Of course had to escalate to upper management. After 6 separate calls was able to get them to allow me to just go and pick up the first phone at the local fedex. Super unprofessional and delayed. Poor customer service all around.

iPhone was damaged and I tried to submit a claim through the website, but the web site was running into errors on multiple browsers on multiple devices. So I called to do so, and the agent told me that my phone would be shipped the next day. Well, it wasn't, and when I called in the afternoon of that day, they said they haven't received any paperwork from me, but I was never instructed to do so nor given access to do so. So after I did, I went through the same process as the night before 4-5 more times before someone finally submitted the claim.
The last agent, who was very nice and helpful said that all of the previous agents had been typing in my address wrong. So, my phone, which broke on a Sunday, was not shipped until the following Saturday morning, so I didn't receive my device until the next Monday. Yes, that is 8 full days of no working phone after paying for an insurance plan that markets a "same or next day delivery." Stay away from Asurion, get AppleCare+ or SquareTrade!

I have come here to leave a review because their site has no way to leave reviews (hence their current 4.8 rating). I am leaving this review out of total frustration after being without a working phone for 25 days now and wondering why I'm paying for coverage. I cracked the screen of an Asurion insured phone and created a claim for screen repair 25 days ago. It took 11 days for a mailer to arrive. Every time I called to find out why I had not received this "next day delivery" mailer, I was told it had been sent, but they would send another. To this day I have not seen any of the extra mailers that were "delayed in transit". So I finally receive notice after another 6 days that my device is unrepairable and I would have to pay full replacement deductible to have a new phone shipped out. This is frustrating, but ok, I need a working phone.
So another 3 days and 20 days without a phone and I finally have a replacement phone. I spend most of a day setting it up while plugged in to charge before realizing that this device is not charging. I try different chargers, including wireless and nothing works. Apparently something was put together wrong when refurbishing this device, so back to customer service, who says this case now needs to be reviewed, which takes another 2 days. Now at a total of 25 days, I find out that the second replacement device was sent to the wrong address and can not be corrected until being returned to the sender, because the customer service rep used the city that came up with the zip code rather than the city I told her, stating that "The city name doesn't matter as long as the zip code is correct". This has been a horrible experience with asurion and no offer has been made to make it right out of all the times I've contacted them.

4.5 Stars. Making the claim was easy. Received phone in 24 hours. Can’t complain about that. Took off half a star because no email notification was sent when the package shipped. It was stated that an email would be sent to notify me. I assumed I was going to receive it in two days until I checked AT&T app about 21 hours after I made the claim to check status. They were hard to get in touch with as the press a number when on forever and I kept getting referred to on line which I couldn't do. Reaching a real person took an hour after being hung up on. Once I reached them, they very helpful and professional. We got far better service than we expected. We’d had trouble with our phones for weeks but didn’t have time to resolve them. While on vacation for parents’ funerals, the problems became worse. So Carol called them in thinking they’d arrive after we got home. We got notice of next day delivery so our son went to our house and picked it up. Now that we’re back and got phone set up, I’ve got to rush to return them within the time frame!!

I had to call Asurion about 12 times before they finally replaced my phone. Spent about 15 hours on the phone, over a weekend's worth of phone calls for them to keep telling me my phone was blacklisted when it wasn't. The reps were rude, always had sarcastic comments to make, and kept blaming my phone carrier, when the carrier had triple checked everything and verified the issue wasn't on my end. I really dislike this company.

If I could give Zero Stars I would. I filed 2 claims for iPads that had screens broken by the kids with ASURION HOME PLUS. Claim was denied for "Intentional Damage" and "Abuse of Product"!! I had a small crack in the screen on my phone that I wanted fixed. The phone was less than 4 months old and when I filled out the online claim form, the results showed that the phone was eligible for repair. Once I mailed it in, I received an email approximately 2 days later informing me that my device was unrepairable and that a replacement device has been shipped. I called and after a lengthy discussion I was able to “convince” the claims escalation specialist to send me my original device back instead of the replacement device. Three days later, I received a Asurion branded refurbished phone. Collectively, I have spent around nine hours on the phone trying to get my original device back. The last update that I received was that they had lost my original device and that they would send me a new device. It has been over 48 hours and still no phone.
Another 45 minutes on the phone, and I am told that I now must wait an additional 24 hours for a address verification. This has been a total waste of time and energy. I wish that I had just taken the phone to a local repair shop. I am severely disappointed that I still have not received a clear answer about my original device. Bear in mind that my original device was unlocked and find my phone disabled per their direction. All of my personal information was on that device that they supposedly “lost”. Please be cognizant of that detail before you send these people your device.

I never had such an easy, painless experience replacing my broken iPhone before. The morning after Thanksgiving my phone had a little problem with gravity and the screen was shattered to the point that using my touchscreen would result in tiny glass splinters in my fingers. I called AT&T right away to start the insurance process and figured I’d be on hold for hours because it was the day after a holiday. I was pleasantly surprised when they answered my call after only a couple minutes.
After explaining my problem the AT&T tech told me to hold on while he connected with Asurion. Within 5 minutes I was talking to a very helpful, friendly Asurion rep who told me they would be able to ship out a replacement that day and that I would receive my new phone by Saturday noon. FedEx pulled up in front of my house at 11:57 AM. From start to finish I had amazing assistance and was stunned to have my replacement phone in my hands within 24 hours. You guys rock!

Great service from our valley mall location in Hagerstown MD. Went in after my phone fell out of my pocket, did not realize it and wife ran over it. Was looking for phone, backtracked my steps and found it. They started the replacement process. Only complaint is they said I would have it Tuesday but came Thursday evening. I have a family phone plan with Verizon and in my plan, I had (canceled today) the multi-device insurance plan provided by Asurion. My son's phone screen cracked and due to the safety with the glass possibly injuring him and his mobile schedule, he got the screen fixed right away. He contacted me to let me know. I contact Asurion to see if I could get some sort of reimbursement as their site stated reimbursement. The Asurion rep stated that reimbursement was for other circumstances.
My son paid $300 to get the screen repaired and we were looking to be reimbursed something, like auto, medical, dental would if you paid out of pocket due to emergency situations. The Asurion rep stated 'we can't reimburse you anything because your son went out of his way to repair the screen himself, he could have entered a claim and he could have gotten his screen repaired for $29 at UBreakIFix'. I text my son, come to find out that is where he got his screen fixed for $300.
I told the Asurion rep this information and she said he could have gotten it done for $29 (so Asurion can do a 90% markdown for UBreakIFix, but no type of reimbursement to their monthly, low liability customers, SMDH) if he would not have went out of his way to get it fixed on his own. I stated to her that my son didn't even remembered that we have the insurance as we have never has to use it in years. I asked if we could have a one time courtesy of some sort of reimbursement (as she stated that they do one-time courtesy reimbursement if they can't replace a phone exact to the model, shady reimbursement policy), she said no. I have paid $45 a month for years and never had to use my insurance until now and I have 9 phones and watches on my account and Asurion let a customer go over a $100 reimbursement (minimum I would have taken)!!! Looking for new coverage to a company that appreciates their customers.

The response time of sending the phone was great. The directions that came with the phone to transfer data were not good and there were NO directions about the grey SIM card. I was not able to transfer everything from my broken phone to the replacement phone so I shipped the replacement phone back, and I will either buy a new phone or replace my broken screen. I was not satisfied that my data would not transfer. I even went to the local AT&T store and they could not help me either.

Easy and painless. I thought I would get my Ten Max but they sent me a 11 so I was very happy with that. I do however miss the larger screen but I am happy with this one. I recommend that everyone should have insurance cause you never know when you might need it.

I was very pleased with the customer service. Very personable and answered all my questions. The lady who helped me with the claim was very understanding because I was a little irritated with my son and could not do it online. She was able to calmly walk me through the process in turn calming me. When it was time to activate the phone the gentleman was also helpful and understanding with my son. Thank you for an easy experience.

My phone was ran over and was completely unrepairable. After filing a claim, there was an automated response "GOOD NEWS. Your device can possibly be repaired. I knew this was not the case due to the condition of the phone. I requested a loaner phone that is 4 operating systems and 4 years old.. I can't access ANY of the things I need for my life on this loaner phone. 3 days later I get an email that they need me to call. I did and they told me phone was not repairable, like I knew, and they were sending my replacement out as soon as payment was received. My payment wouldn't go through so I tried a different card and it didn't work.
Finally they "tried it again" and it "went through". This was a lie to get me off the phone because they didn't want to work? Or they don't know what they're doing? Either way, this experience it the absolute worst. This has happened 3 times already. Same deal. "Payment isn't going through." Try different card. "This didn't go through either. Let's try again." "Oh there it is. Everything is perfect."
Here I am, 2 weeks after the incident, still without a proper working phone that I pay $15 a month to Asurion for seemingly nothing but a headache. I've been paying asurion through Sprint for over 8 years, replaced a stolen phone 1 time with no issue, and I feel cheated that I've spent roughly $1500 over these years to have such terrible service from them. This is unacceptable for such a big company to not care for their clientele..

I've always received my replacement device in a timely manner. Asurion has been the best insurance to buy because bad things really do happen to your smart devices. I also love that they send you a new device and not some old refurbished joint.

I was extremely satisfied with AT&T's Asurion. I would definitely use it again. I just had to call, email & use the confirmation code. It wasn't the easiest or hardest. Just follow the prompts & procedures. I have to say, that when you need to use Asurion, contact them immediately.

Everything went extremely fast! Shipping was spot on. However the phone that was sent is doing the exact same thing. 6:00 am fully charged, battery on low power mode, low light and closed all apps and at 11:00 am I have 29% battery and nothing to reserve... This is not working out!! Help!

At first I didn’t get a replacement phone so I called and a phone came right away. Now another phone arrived so I need a label to send the extra phone back. I’m sure the delay was a shipping related problem, not Asurion. Agents have been very helpful and taken extra efforts to make sure I was not without a phone and it was greatly appreciated.

Everything was fine except I had to have help with the activation. Once I knew who I was suppose to connect with, was completed in minutes. I am a bit confused why I was not under warranty, I felt I cost myself money by having a warranty and insurance. Overall I’m very satisfied with the outcome and was given excellent customer service.

This place offers an unlimited screen breakage protection warranty. The first time trying to use it, they said my phone is not eligible. That's 2 years I wasted my money. Don't fall for their lies! Do not get burned since they don't care about their customers.

Couldn’t be happier with the quick response and replacement phone. All I had to do was switch the SIM card and I was back in business. Altogether pleased with my insurance claim. I’d definitely recommend Asurion to others. I thought paying $9/month on top of my AT&T bill was pricey but it paid for itself in spades.

Initially I placed an insurance claim. That first contact was horrible and I went through the motions just to get over with. After 16 days waiting I called back and the representatives were great. One was online and the other on the phone. Very professional and took care of the problem. A couple of days later the phone arrived. The Tech was great, patient and professional. Took care of guiding me all the way. The only reason why I made it a 4 star. If it not for the professionalism of the rest of the representatives, it would have been 3 or even a 2 star. Other than that great across the board.

Online instructions to activate and set up new phone were easy to follow (including erasing damaged device), it only took me a couple of times trying, but I finally completed the transaction. This is the worst claim experience I have ever seen. The only claim we have had to file in three years and Asurion has botched it up at every turn. They shipped the first replacement phone to the wrong location. Then denied next day delivery of the second phone. Wondering why we even need insurance with service like this. What a waste of time and money.

Phone was not delivered on the day and time promised. Rescheduled for a couple days later. Support was helpful in the migration from old device to new. All good on the process. Fast and very easy. $168 for the deductible is very high since I pay a monthly charge. $50 is more reasonable for a deductible. The customer service agent was great. Had to use the online chat and could not complete the claim online.

The ATT Store was only helpful in giving me the phone number for activating my insurance. Beth with ATT was most patient in helping me set up the replacement phone. The Asurion folks were helpful in navigating the process and it arrived the next day as promised.
