    I want to start off by saying the interaction itself with the representatives on the phone was pleasant however the empty guarantees and false reassurance was upsetting. We were in contact with Asurion customer representatives almost exactly 11 times in one week just to get our situation handled. Each time it was a different guarantee or different excuse as to why the previous guarantee couldn’t be met.

    I give it a 3/5 because I had to call back 3 times to make sure they had the correct address. They sent it twice to 2 addresses. I had to call FedEx myself to try to get it fixed. I wasn't able to update with the right address with FedEx like I was told I could. After calling for the 3rd time finally someone told me to tell FedEx to cancel the first two orders so they could send out the 3rd. Not sure why I wasn't told that in the first place!     I had nothing but problems with Asurion. From them sending me the incorrect replacement phone (a 128GB) when I purchased a 256GB and putting in their system that they sent me a 256GB. Then had to send that back. Someone lost that phone and said they didn't receive it when they did. Then they said they would just fix my simple cracked screen. So I sent my original phone in to them.

    THREE WEEKS later they FINALLY sent it back, but with a note saying it is unrepairable. When in fact the phone is absolutely fine other than a small Crack in the screen in the bottom right hand corner. In fact all functions work on the phone. In which I am using now to do this review. So they could have simply fixed my phone without charging me over $100 for a replacement. And taking 2 months in the process! When it wasn't even my fault the screen cracked. It was the Samsung case that Samsung sent me! I will Never buy anything else from Samsung.com again and will never use Asurion again! I will continue to stick with Best Buy! This company has definitely lost a customer!

    Our son had a 20 month old Motorola Razr that finally would not accept a charge and had some minor crack. Asurion evaluated the damage and elected to send us a used Samsung as replacement. That worked well and he was not without a phone for much more than a day or two. One comment: In returning the Motorola Razr we had to remove the battery from the case and that turned out to be a little more complicated than expected. I have one thing that needs to addressed in the process. My phone that was smashed could not receive texts, it was completely dead. When I went to activate the new phone I needed to talk to someone, well I needed a code sent to me via text message.but my old phone was dead and couldn’t receive a text. The Asurion help desk was very good, though a bit slow. My frustration was that the "option" to return the phone for repair wasn't an option - who wants to send their phone with all that information on it off to a stranger with no guarantee of when it will return?     Disappointed that the last 2 phones I received were rebuilt. And with poor workmanship. A Samsung S10 Plus is a water resistant phone. I got the last 2 phones wet but never submerged them and they took in moisture and died. One of the reasons I purchase that specific phone is because it is water resistant.
